#fruity four angst

not rly my own hc sorry but I saw your tags abt how Nancy could be the first of the yandere fruity four to knock out the reader and like that seems pretty angsty!
Don’t be sorry at all, I loooove having these types of convos!
(Cw: yandere behaviour)
It’s all because you’re having your first big fight with the four. No one taking you out the house and calming you down. Not letting any of them convince you everyone involved is overreacting and all of you just need to take deep breaths. Not even any single one of your lovers being so on your side, and telling the other(s) to fuck off for a while, giving you someone to lean on. This time you’d had enough, you wanted to get out of this goddamn house, and you wanted to be ALONE for once!
You don’t even remember the last time you were without at least one of them. At bed time. Going out. Even in the shower, or using the bathroom, usually someone was washing with you, brushing their teeth next to you, or chatting to you from outside the door, even listening to you sing. To be honest, it was starting to drive you a little stir crazy.
Eddie and Robin are crying. Even more so because you haven’t been swayed by their sweet, genuine tears at you being upset, especially with them. And you’re still barging past Steve’s broad shoulders to just get to the front door and out of this house.
Steve’s doing all but physically pushing you back with his hands. Robin’s hands are grabbing for you pathetically from behind the others, Eddie’s crying your name and begging for you, hoping if you look at him, you’ll change your mind like you always do. And you’re still yelling with Nancy.
She’s the one who caused this argument. Nancy’s usually the most strict, and it’s one of the biggest things that causes issues with you in your relationship. She’s lovely, she’s just sort of... neurotic, when it comes to being in control. She’ll give in to your sweet smile on the little things sometimes, but even before you were with her, you always knew she was a stickler for her rules.
Eddie was good, he really balanced it out in the relationship, and he was your partner in crime for you both to expand on those rules a little, and Steve and Robin were at the lesser extreme ends of Nancy and Eddie, so when you got into this relationship, you really thought it would be all nicely balanced out. Until Nancy started acting unnecessarily pissed off, because you wanted a little freedom. Something you personally thought wasn’t ‘a personal rule of someone’s to discuss/compromise with in the relationship.’ Controlling behaviour is something you would not accept, and you determinedly put your foot down at any sign of it. It was non negotiable. You would always stick up for yourself if one of the others went too far, because red flag or even toxic behaviour, was not negotiable for you to work with. You would not be dealing with it. You guys could talk about why they felt their behaviour/rules were necessary, that was fine, but you said from the beginning, that type of behaviour, would absolutely not be a factor in any relationship you were in.
And the four loved how strong you were. How you knew what was right and what was wrong, what you deserved. How you’d stick up for yourself in the places it mattered unwaveringly.
Except when it became an issue for them to keep you ‘safe’. Nancy, especially, didn’t like the fact you seemed unable to be mani- to change your mind about certain things.
And while the other three, Steve, Eddie and Robin have tried to talk to you during this argument with Nancy, where they were on her side, that had escalated into an argument about you leaving the house for some air now, and even as they still tried to get heard words in edgeways, how they kept talking even though they knew you weren’t listening, you and Nancy were mostly taking up each other’s attention.
Screaming arguments back and forth, Nancy always looking scary when she was pissed off, but you so determined in your ways and angry at Nancy too, neither of you were losing. You just kept fighting.
Until you finally managed to bustle around Steve’s held up ‘calming’ hands, turning your back to Nancy, and your other lovers, as you finally got to the front door. Then Nancy was quiet enough, you could hear Steve’s arguments, less angry himself now, and more set to try and persuade you to just stay and calm down at home, and you can all talk things out. In fact, you hadn’t noticed, but Nancy was completely silent now. The switch since you had finally turned your back on her, deafening.
You were fumbling to grab keys from the bowl near the front door, uncaring that they were attached to Eddie’s vans keys, you were going on a walk anyway. And even though you weren’t screaming back at Steve, like you had been earlier, and with Nancy, both your voices were still raised, trying to get across your points, your voice more steady, and Steve’s getting more worrisome. You had to both be slightly loud anyway. Robin and Eddie were still begging for you through tears and snot.
And when you finally picked up Eddie’s key chain in your warm palms, that’s when everything flipped to black.
Steve nearly screamed as he caught you, falling, in his arms. Having no idea what happened other than seeing your eyes flash with something, roll back, and start collapsing.
Robin had squeaked, too quiet to hear, not even noticed by her. Eddie’s gasp had torn his vocal cords, he was that shocked.
And as Steve turned back, holding your limp body in his outstretched arms, the house keys finally falling with a thud to the wooden floor, everyone stared at Nancy, holding the baseball bat stored in the coat rack for safety in this home, staring down at you, with her curls sticking to her pink and still just as determined face.
Eddie was the one who started screaming at her first. After his initial “WHAT THE FUCK?!” And “WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO!?”, Steve caught his breath and started yelling at Nancy too. Steve hardly ever yelled at Nancy, but holding your unconscious body, a deadweight in his arms, was setting him off hard. “WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO NANCE?!” Robin only hadn’t spoken up yet because she was in shock. Everything had been so horrible, everyone was yelling, and then you were hurt, you’re still not conscious, and Nancy, her other partner, was the one to hurt you. Nancy had hurt you. After every promise Nancy had made. After the promises Robin had made to you, to keep you safe, and looked after, and stood up for, after all four of them promised you in this relationship. And now Robin was just as appalled. Mad. And scared. “NANCY WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?!”
Nancy still being so set, her eyes still determined on you, non guilty, easily setting the bat back into place, was chilling to some of the others.
Steve saw himself in Nancy then. Dreams he’d had, horrific dreams, about keeping you locked up, just so he’d know you were safe. Conversations he’d had late at night with Nancy, where he’d later felt awful about what he’d admitted... these dark feelings, felt sick, like she was going to tell on him the mornings after, only for Nancy to repeat she’d meant it.
Eddie was behind Nancy, so he couldn’t really see, but he rushed up to check on you, Robin crying for a different reason now. As Steve had to gently kneel to the floor to support your body, setting you leaning against his chest, so Eddie could smooth through your hair at the back of your skull and check for any damage. How much you, his love, were hurt. Eddie would die if you were hurt.
All three’s hearts were beating hard with chest tightening fear, about you being hurt.
Nancy’s quick plan, unfortunately on the one hand, calmed the others though. Steve picked you back up, and set you on the couch, just as Nancy ordered, feeling better seeing you, just like you were sleeping, like none of this had happened. Robin feeling better being useful, as she raids the freezer for frozen peas, wrapping them in a clean towel to place carefully under your head. Eddie whispering promises and pleas to himself and you, with each kiss to your hand he grips and speaks into softly, making his heart rate decrease just slightly with each kiss, as he sits on the floor, peering up at you with shiny dark brown eyes.
Nancy’s steady planning calming them down, wasn’t great, when it meant the others could feel calm, in a situation like this. Where one of your partners, one of them, had just hit you with a baseball bat in order to stop you from leaving.
You woke only a minute later, and everyone’s face’s turned to ones of relief and smiles, including Nancy’s, not a dry eye around, as quiet sniffles and croaks of your name, lit up the big house, alongside your groans of pain.
“G-Guys? What... what happened? How did I... why am I?”
When you turn to Nancy, her face pales with fear. You see it creeping into her eyes. “You don’t... you don’t remember?”
Convincing practiced eyes.
You look down at Eddie, who’s expression hasn’t changed from teary, still wiping at his nose with his sleeve, before nuzzling it back into your hand. Robin and Steve are with him too, Steve crouching near you, while Robin sits on the arm of the sofa, by your laid up leveraged feet. Their hands settled on your body, just like they needed to be.
Nancy comes over too, between Eddie and Steve, and she takes your free hand up in hers. “Baby what’s the last thing you remember?”
You think back, your head aching as you do, and you must have winced because everybody’s hand’s tighten on your body at once. You remembered being near the front door, still closed... with someone’s key’s in your hands, definitely. And as you watch Nancy’s face twist in confusion, you feel like you haven’t put all the pieces of the puzzle together.
“Honey you don’t remember going outside?”
You shake your head, grunting, and Steve’s hand aims for your head, but instead moves and cups your cheek, like he thought better of it, not wanting to hurt you. His bit lip and puppy eyes pleading with you not to move too hard. Begging you not to be more hurt.
Nancy continues. “You got out the door, we kept begging you to turn around, to talk to us, but when you did... you fell down the front steps. You hit your head on the ground.” Nancy bowed her head solemnly, but she managed to look back at up for your expression quickly. “You really don’t remember that?” Her fingers are so so gentle, caressing your temple. Her eyebrows scrunched in worry, stroking your head like she’s nervous there may be more you can’t remember. Other damage to your head undiscovered yet.
“No- no I don’t... I don’t remember that part... But it’s just a couple of seconds right? That’s kinda normal for being knocked out, isn’t it? Do I need to go to the hospital?”
Robin rubs your ankles from where she’s sitting, but her face is tilted up at the ceiling, away from you, you guess in her attempt to try and stop more tears from falling.
“Yeah! Yeah that’s normal, you’re okay. You’re okay baby you don’t need to be seen you’re fine. You’ll be fine okay? I promise. You’re not hurt, I promise I’ll make sure you’re okay, alright?” Nancy speaks like she’s trying so soothe her own worries by making sure you don’t feel scared, before she thumbs under your own dry cheek, the only one in sight, and you feel guilt bundle up like something dark and sick and twisty in your chest. She must blame herself for making you turn around on that step. They must all blame themselves for that stupid fight, causing all this. Those seconds, or maybe minutes, you were out... God you must’ve worried them all so badly. You know how frightened they get for you.
Even with a big sigh leaving your chest, you can’t get rid of the pain you feel, for having caused all of your lovers such pain. And for something you stupid you can barely remember. Not because of genuine memory loss, you’re thankful for, but because it seems so daft compared to all of this. Knowing how badly they must’ve worried, while you were unconscious, and how much your partners really love you. All four of them. And looking at each of their faces... God, you’re so lucky.
You ask Steve if he had to pick you up from outside and bring you back in, and with some stumbling on his words, he eventually gets out a nod with a “Wh- well, I... uh, sigh- yeah.”
Nancy’s only fretting by the couch now, so you can use your free, not taken by Eddie, hand to stroke over Steve’s strong arms, thanking him.
And you thank all your partners for being so strong. For looking after you. You wriggle your shoulders uncomfortably on the couch, your back slightly aching from this position, or you guess from falling down the few steps by Steve’s front door, and you can feel the toweled ice, already put under your head before you had to ask for it.
And all four of your lovers come to kiss your face, once they get a healing head kiss in each, them all going (reservedly for your recovery) wild with face kisses.
And since you don’t know any better, since everything is better, you’re not upset anymore, you’re very grateful for them and are so reminded of your love, plus you’re okay, you’re safe, and now they get to take care of you and play doctor and dote on your every whim???
The others are still slightly mad with Nancy. Steve was more upset then mad, although Nancy was sticking around him to give him enough love to make him feel better. Robin doesn’t know what to think, on one hand she is angry, she feels what Nancy did wasn’t right, she wants to stick with Eddie, but everyone’s a happy family again like Steve says, which is what her and him have always wanted, what they all have needed. And while at first she’d turn away from Nancy with a huff just like Steve would, not imitating him, both just the same in that reaction, and as she’d outright tell Nancy “I’m mad at you.” with her arms crossed, Nancy never retaliated against Robin for it. Never acted angry or upset with her for being mad, Nancy was being really nice to her, and so were you...
Eddie’s mad at Nancy. He’s happy you’re back, and that you’re okay, and fine, fuck it, he is happy playing doctor and caregiver and good lover taking lots of care of you, wayyy more than you actually need, like the rest of them are. But Eddie knows Nancy’s stubborn, because so is he, but about different stuff. Stubbornness knows stubbornness, and it’s part of the reason you, him and Nancy have that fuck you energy with her bullshit sometimes. He does not want her to get ideas she can do this shit if she feels like it, and he doesn’t want the others to think everything will magically be okay if she, if any of them, do stupid shit like this again. It was a fluke this time you bought Nancy’s story. He doesn’t want her belief in herself going up. Yes he’s happy you’re back. Eddie is still pissed Nancy hurt you, and he doesn’t want her, or the others, thinking they can do things like that again. He’s trying to convince Robin, and also Steve, of this too. Maybe, not to the point of hurting you, but with other frantic thoughts... just ever so slightly himself as well. Just very, very occasionally.
But time passes, the household is happy again. They all get to give you the princess treatment, and hype you up to give them every request to fulfil of yours, and you all get to be a happy family, living together contently again. And for a while, the four nearly forget all that unpleasantness, just like how you weren’t in the know. Sometimes, they even envied that you didn’t have to know, didn’t have to deal with these mixed feelings. But they were glad if anyone had to be spared of this pain, it was you. They would do anything for you.

Eddie and Robin are the biters of their respective relationships, they'll do it absent mindedly sometimes, they'll just be holding their partners hand and lift it up and softly put their wrist in their mouth between their teeth. Steve and Nancy don't even react anymore.
Steve and Robin are the snugglers of their relationships, they will tuck themselves under their partner's chin and curl into their chest whenever they're in reach in the couch. Eddie and Nancy are all too happy to oblige.
Nancy and Steve are the 'they asked for pickles' of their relationships, slight guard dog energy for their chaotic partners that are always very much themselves despite the public opinion, they will make their opinions known to anyone that has an issue and will always make sure their partners get what they want.
Eddie and Nancy are the praisers in their relationships, sometimes their partners need reminding that they're ok and that they're loved on rough days, they're their for the nightmares about cold dark metal rooms that they can never fully understand but will hold them and remind them that they're safe and that they're important and loved.

Now playing... Church by Chase Atlantic
Thinking about steve cumming into your panties.
✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧
“Fuck baby.” Steve moaned into your ear. His breath fanning against your neck. He started rutting himself faster onto your pussy. Your underwear was down till your thighs, tears streaming down your face, makeup and hair probably all messed up. Your pussy was swollen and red from the number of times you had come by now.
Steve was still chasing his high. His cock slid back and forth against your pussy. His hands gripped your shoulder blades, leaving visible marks there, while he continued sucking hickeys onto your neck.
“Baby, you can give me one more, hm?” Steve asked you panting.
“Fuck yes anything Stevie.” You told him too lost in your pleasure. You didn't care if you had cum too many times, you wanted more, and Steve was going to give you more.
“I’m close sweetheart.” Steve moaned humping his cock harder.
“Me too Stevie.”
He moved his hips harder and soon you were cumming. You screamed loudly, tears rolling down your face. You threw your head back onto Steve’s shoulder, your mouth hanging open drool coming out from the side.
Seeing your state Steve soon came right after you. He quickly lined his cock up with your panties and shot his load there. Stings of white shoot right down into your pretty little panties.
After a few minutes, both of you came down from your high. You opened your eyes to look up at Steve, he was still panting from how hard he came. Steve caught you looking at him and smiled down back at you, swiftly locking his lips with yours. You moaned lightly into his mouth, one of your hands going up to stroke his cheek. His mouth moving with passion against yours. Gradually both of you pulled back to catch your breath still grinning.
Steve’s gaze fell down to your panties. They were covered in his cum. Absolutely white with excess oozing out from the sides. He smirked looking at his work. Then before you could say anything Steve pulled your panties up, making you squeak from the sudden contact his cum made with your pussy.
You whimpered looking up at him with questioning and glossy eyes. He only smiled down at you and whispered, “Just wear them for today, be my good girl.”
Your mouth went agape at his request. Steve chuckled after observing your reaction, his hand going down to your clothed pussy gently patting it a couple of times making you jolt from the sensitivity.
Your eyes went wide with lust once again. Excited for what's about to come.

Turn the other cheek, and I take it on the chin
(Now with a Part 2)
Saying Robin was pissed would be the understatement of the century. She was on a rampage. Mind focused on one target and nothing would tame her fury beside strangling the obnoxiously loud life out of Eddie freaking Munson.
Robin isn’t a violent person, she sometimes even called herself a pacifist, but she had limits.
Steve Harrington kicked puppy expression was her limit number one.
It was supposed to be a boring Tuesday afternoon shift at Family Video and Steve was to clock in two hours after her for the closing shift.
It was a normal boring Tuesday, not many customers came on Tuesdays so Robin was left to do and redo the inventory or browse the aisles she had arranged three times since starting her shift.
The video store was silent except for the faint sound of the top 40 and the squawking of her converse on the tiled floor.
But then the bell above the door jingled and Robin had turned with a smile, enthusiastic at the thought of any distraction, her smile vanished in an instant.
Before her was standing a sad looking Steve Harrington, his big cow eyes glossy with unshed tears and even his hair looked deflated.
Robin rushed over him, eyes scanning his figure for any kind of injury,
"Steve what hap- oof"
The force of her friend trying to bury his bigger frame in between her arms cut her short in her questioning.
Steve was now shamelessly sobbing in the fabric of her work vest, snot and tears mixing on the green fibers.
Robin stroked his hair and held him until he calmed down enough to talk. After a few minutes of Steve sobbing on her shoulder she beckoned him in the break room to sit him down and give him some water.
After Steve had calmed down and downed three cups of water like a man stranded in the desert, Robin sat next to him and waited.
A beat. And another. Steve opened and closed his mouth a few times in between sniffles, trying to work out an explanation to his breakdown.
Robin’s brows were creased in worry and she was seconds away from ripping her lips to shreds as she gnawed at them waiting for her friend to talk. And oh, oh how she would’ve preferred to hear something about the upside down, or a failed date or, god forbid, the discontinuation of the Farrah Fawcett spray. But what she heard was worse than any of the above..
~Around half an hour before~
Steve parked in front of the little house humming some David Bowie song he heard earlier that week.
It was a normal Tuesday, he was about to drive the kids home from Hellfire before joining Robin at work for the closing shift at Family Video.
The door to the house wasn’t locked so Steve let himself in as he had done dozens of times before, a small smile was tugging at his lips as he walked towards the basement hearing laughter and voices.
His smile flattered as the ongoing conversation became cleared as he reached the end of the stairs, not quite entering the room enough to be seen by the club.
Hellfire’s meetings were always boisterous and loud so Steve tuned them all out when waiting for it to end, but he just couldn’t do it today, not after hearing some very interesting traits about Eddie’s newly created NPC.
Apparently Eddie thought it would be fun to make an NPC based on Steve making it a mean airhead who dies trying to get a girl at all cost.
Eddie had seemed pretty proud of him actually so Steve didn’t mind at first,
but then in the span of a second they went from talking about the NPC to talking about actual Steve.
Mike had said something about the NPC being a genius next to who he was based off of and, it’s Mike so Steve didn’t really care.
But then the others seemed to have took it as an opportunity to open some sort of trial on him.
They all started to talk over each other about some dumb stuff he had said or stupid thing he did or those times when he doesn’t get what everyone’s talking about. And it’s okay, Steve knows that he isn’t smart or whatever but it still hurts.
Eddie only pitched in after the rest has quieted down and saying if the NPC was to be 100% accurate he would’ve made it "an asshole King of a bullshit land"
That’s when Steve left, turning on his heels and bumping on the door on his way up the stairs.
The other noticed him then, it only made them laugh at how he couldn’t take a joke or be grateful to be even remotely included in the game.
He walked out of the house and into his car, speeding off towards Family Video.
He didn’t look back not once, the kids could take themselves home for all he cared or Eddie would take them anyway. The thought of Eddie hurts a spot in his chest Steve tried to ignore as he waited for the streetlight to turn green. He had thought they were finally friends, counted the guy as one of his best friend actually. Steve had thought Eddie had seen him for who he really was and liked that real Steve. Steve had told Eddie all about that time in high school, why Steve acted that way, he had told him about the bathroom incident and Nancy’s words. Steve thought Eddie had understood him. Guess Steve was wrong about that too. The light turned green and Steve swallowed his tears.
If there is someone above it all, Robin hopes they can pardon all the awful thoughts that crossed her mind about Eddie Munson and what she was about to do to him.
She was vibrating with fury, Eddie knew Steve now, they’d spent so many nights hanging out the three of them. (She had even thought that there was something more there between the two of them. )
Oh she hoped Eddie hadn’t skipped too many P.E classes, she was about to hunt him and he was better of running. And fast.
"Robin you’re hurting my hand"
The quiet wincing coming from Steve brought her back to the situation at hand, she quickly released his hand and got up,
"The kids, they’re dumb and ungrateful brats, but they’re still children so I’m mad at them but well…Now Eddie ? Stevie I want you to know that I’m about to break each of his bones one by one."
Steve snorted at her spiel,
"It’s not worth it Robbie, I think he wanted to keep the approbation of the Hellfire’s members by shitting on the dumb jock, for old times sake and whatnot.."
"No it’s not okay Steve ! Eddie is supposed to be your friend and that’s so hypocritical of him to rant about conformity but still seeking validation by shitting on you !"
Robin was red, her arms flailing around her in angry motions. Steve sighed and looked away,
"I mean, I was an asshole, maybe he hasn’t forgiven me and waited for revenge or something."
"Yeah key words here Steve, was, it’s all in the past and you weren’t that bad per se." That is true, for all his King Steve title, Steve didn’t do much aside from snorting next to Tommy shoving nerds into lockers or cackling when Carol’s venom was particularly snarky. He never touched anyone, yes he was arrogant and mean but it was all a disguise.
And Eddie fucking knew that.
Robin looked at Steve, his forlorn expression and anxious hands nearly ripping holes in his sweater cemented her next action.
In one smooth motion she took his car keys and ran out of the store.
Hellfire survived an angry town mob, the Kids survived a whole other dimensions but none of them were ready for what was about to come.
Eddie may have survived once, thanks to Steve’s CPR training by the way, but Robin was seriously considering finishing what the bats had started.
—————————————-
Alright gang I’m slowly going back to writing and I thought of some angst because why not right ? This story will probably be made of three parts i think.
If you guys have any tips, requests, critics or literally anything to say please let me know I love talking with people here and it doesn’t happen a lot !
(Next chapter will be from Eddie’s pov)

Friendly reminder that Will didn’t call Mike for six months and put all of the responsibility of reaching out onto him because he was afraid that if he called first, he’d be an inconvenience. He figured if Mike called him, it would mean Mike definitely wanted to talk, but then, Mike was only able to get through a couple of times, causing Will to think that he didn’t want to talk to him at all and encouraging Will to continue not taking the risk of calling first. Meanwhile, Mike thought that Will was the one who didn’t want to talk to him because Will never called him back and because when he got to California, Will barely spoke to him, but Will only did that because he thought Mike didn’t care what he had to say.

To all Steve/Eddie writers:
Incorrectly tagging your STEVE/EDDIE fics as “Robin x Reader” or “Nancy x Reader” won’t make us want to read it! some of us don’t want to read about steve or eddie!
we scroll through the robin/nancy tag for content ABOUT THEM! NOT ABOUT EDDIE OR STEVE!

Au where the only thing having stopped the yandere fruity four from completely fucking up you, and with you, is pure luck. And they realise that every impulsive selfish decision of theirs has lead to you nearly being traumatised, instead of happy...
Sometimes they’ll get a thought, an urge, of a way to course/manipulate/trick you into something that they think will be good for you, or will be good for them, as in the relationship.
(Cw: thoughts of abortion mention)
E.g. one of them (Steve) getting in his head you should have a baby so you five can really be a big happy family, and Nancy catches on and they decide, like, babytrapping isn’t that bad when you’re already a family right? You’ll just think it’s fate, it’s meant to be <333
Until you’re crying because you think you might be pregnant, and not tears of joy. They’re at first all trying to calm you, a gentle smile, a hand on the knee, suggesting, you know, maybe this could turn around and be a good thing! But no you’re still determined you are going to get an abortion, you’re just not ready to put your body through that yet. And even though you want to 100%, the process of that, having to seriously think about it, is traumatising to you. Luckily you’re not actually pregnant. And you accept the relief over it just being a scare, and let yourself just become mush for your four lovers to take care of for a whole day because you need that relaxation and pampering time. Something you know they are always eager to give you.
But the others involved in the scheme are feeling incredibly guilty for nearly hurting you so badly, for very almost putting you through that, something you just told them would’ve been traumatising to you, not just what they wanted to come of it, but your only solution out of their deed as well. They get so caught up in what they want, and what they want for you, but they can be so empathetic with you.
They just get these... urges, and they come with such a halo effect of the situation. They’re so glad fate actually does keep seeming to interfere, and stop their plans so they can get out of their haze and realise whatever they were doing to you was wrong. They’re secretly very much hoping, that enough times have passed for them to be able to restrain themselves from the next ‘brilliantly crafty idea’ that comes to mind, before their and your luck runs out...

Now playing... Friends by Chase Atlantic
Thinking about eddie using you to get chrissy.
.・。.・゜✭・.
All of your friends had told you to stay away from the freak. You should've listened to them, but no your young naive self said otherwise.
You weren't even supposed to find out; you were done with cheer practice so you thought why not go find Eddie? You just so happened to walk in on Eddie talking to Gareth in a vacant room. None of them seemed to notice you.
“Dude, do you ever plan on telling her?” Gareth asked.
“Tell who what?” You thought to yourself. You knew it was wrong to eavesdrop, but you couldn't help it.
“Nope, it’ll break her. What will I even say? Hey my lovely girlfriend of 4 months I've been using you to get closer to your best friend Chrissy.” Eddie responded chucking.
It seemed as though your heart stopped beating right there and then. He’d been using you? No No, he said he loved you. This wasn't your Eddie or so you hoped. You knew you needed to clear your head. You tried walking out of the room unnoticed but with your hands shaking and vision becoming burry all your books ended up falling with a loud echo which caught Gareth and Eddie’s attention.
Both of their heads whipped in your direction. Eddie’s heart stopped after seeing it was you who had walked in. His mouth went agape with fear learning you had overheard their conversation.
His precious girl was upset all because of him. He wanted to run over and hug you, but he knew he’d fucked up bad.
“So you were using me?” You asked, eyes glossy with unshed tears. Don't cry now y/n.
“Baby no I swear I can explain -” Eddie started panic evident in his voice, but you abruptly cut him off with a sneer.
“Save it. They were all right about you, you suck Munson.” That was the last thing you uttered to him before turning around and running away from everyone.

“You’re there. You were always there.” | final preview

“Every day,” he murmured against your lips. “Every day, since 1972.”
His words were as soft as his lips, spoken gently and gliding across your kiss swollen pout. The way he slowly slid his thick length into you, gliding in and out at the same pace as his tongue on yours, made your mind swim in pure ecstasy.
“I’ve loved you,” Steve whispered as he pressed another kiss, repeating the words between each kiss and thrust. “I’ve loved you, I’ve loved you, I’ve loved you.”
You sighed into his mouth, drinking him in. You thought back to when you were just kids, dancing around your treehouse. You thought back to the days spent drinking chocolate milk in kindergarten, and bike rides around your suburban neighborhood, and hide-and-seek in Steve’s giant empty house. You thought back to holding his hand for the first time, and wondering if your stomach would ever not be a mess of butterflies when you looked into his dark chocolate brown eyes that took on a shade of honey in the sun. You thought back to when you kissed Steve for the first time, in front of so many people, at just fifteen years old — and how in that moment, you knew he was it for you. Just like you knew from the age of six. You knew it then, and you knew it now.
And as you told Steve that you loved him back — so much, so fucking much — you couldn’t help but cling tighter to him as you felt him begin to cry in your arms as he took up every inch inside of you. The taste of salt touched your lips, and you thumbed his tears away as you smiled against his skin and caught his lips between your teeth. Because you knew that while his tears held pain, they stemmed from joy. Newfound joy, that could only be found with each other.
Steve had spent his entire life wanting to be loved, and for so long he was willing to be loved by anyone. But all Steve really wanted was to be loved by just one person. His person.
You.

Eddie is sick...
(first time I've written something, not sure if it will become a regular occurrence or not but, I hope its got a good mouth feel for ya)
AO3
Steve and Robin were in the middle of a heated debate over what movie they were going to watch tonight when the apartment door slammed open, rattling the poorly hung picture frames on the wall.
Steve immediately moved into a defensive position as Robin grabbed the closest thing to her that could be used as a weapon. They crept down the hallway, ready to pounce on whomever, or whatever had barged into their haven.
They heard the intruder before they saw them. Quiet grumbles and groans came from the entryway; the sounds of items being tossed about and the door being thrown shut. Steve and Robin only relaxed once they recognized the voice rounding the corner.
Eddie chucked his shoes into the corner, pointedly ignoring the shoe rack that Steve had put by the door. He kicked the door shut and trudged down the hall, prepared to shower and collapse in bed, when he saw two dark figures watching him in the darkened doorway. He let out a small shriek as he lunged for the light switch.
Before him now illuminated by the weak overhead light was Steve, phone receiver in hand raised and ready to strike; behind him was Robin, with a deadly look in her eye, holding a plastic ladle like it was a baseball bat.
Eddie began to laugh at the ridiculous sight when he was cut short by Robin tossing the ladle at his head.
“Hey! What was that for?” he grumbled as he rubbed the sore spot on his head.
“You know you can’t just barge in like that!” Robin practically screamed at him. Steve moved forward to check Eddie’s head, “We didn’t know it was you! We could’ve hurt you!” Steve said as he went to lock the front door and check for any damage to the cheap plywood structure.
Eddie puffed his chest up, “Well I’ll have you know, I’ve received terrible news, that which has left me in a dreadful mood, I fear that you have only exacerbated the issue with your large spoon throwing!”. Steve rolled his eyes and met Robin’s equally amused stare.
“It’s a ladle, not a spoon,” said with all the bitchiness Steve could muster.
Of course, Steve would know the particular cookware vernacular.
Eddie, seething with annoyance, prepared his retort.
“Well you would know, wouldn’t you?” He shoved passed the two of them moving to collapse on the couch in a dramatic flourish.
“The hell does that mean?” Steve said as he tossed his hands in the air. He looked at Robin, gesturing at the metalhead who has now become one with the old musty couch.
"Can you believe this?” Steve looked to Robin for a response. She shook her head and released a small sigh, as she shoved Eddie over so she could sit.
“What’s the bad news Eddie?” Robin tried to be comforting in case it was a serious situation but kept a healthy amount of suspicion in her mind since it was Eddie after all.
Eddie half-heartedly rolled over. “I dare not say it aloud, for fear may consume me whole”, his lip quivered as he spoke. He doesn’t know if it was the trembling lip or the small strangled noise he made that softened Steve up, but here he was leaning over Eddie with concern all over his face.
“What’s going on? Is it code red?” Steve glanced toward the counter where the walkie was placed, panic overtook his tense frame. Before he could move to grab it, Eddie was grabbing his wrist, yanking him away. Steve crouched down, petting Eddie's hair and making concerned eye contact with Robin.
Eddie cleared his throat before he spoke, “‘Fraid not Steve-O. It's far worse!” He moved his hand to dramatically drape it across his forehead. Robin grabbed his hand to look him in the eye.
“I need you to cut the drama act and tell me what's going on,” she said frantically. “Like on a scale of failing senior year again” (“Hey!”) “To Vecna zombies, what are we talkin’?” She spits the last sentence out like it was demobat flesh.
Eddie looked toward Steve ready to crack another joke, but the damn Ken doll of a man was rooting through the closet pulling out the emergency bags and his bat.
Shit, shit, shit.
Eddie sat up quickly, jostling Robin who was manically chewing her nails, eyes flicking between the two men like she was trying to decide which fire to put out first.
Before Eddie could even get a word out, Robin tackled him to the floor. She began shaking his shoulders. “Just tell us what’s happening!! I can’t take it anymore!” She managed to yell out between her shaking assault on Eddie's shoulders.
Eddie squawked, trying to wriggle out from under Robin. “Steve! Are you just gonna stand by while she gives me shakin’ Eddie syndrome?!” Man, Robin was stronger than she looked.
Steve took one look over his shoulder and dropped everything, deeming Robs the more dangerous threat. The frazzled metalhead grinned up at his personal knight in shining armor, well at least until Steve joined in on the Eddie abuse.
With Robin violently shaking him by the shoulders and Steve manhandling his face like a stress ball, Eddie was preparing for his imminent death.
“Eds, I need you to tell us what's wrong or else I’m grabbing the walkie and radioing the whole party. So, you can tell us or you can tell the six children with severe PTSD reactions.” Steve spoke with a deadly calm that rattled Robin enough to stop her assault.
Eddie swallowed, trying to digest the threat without choking. ”Fine, fine. I surrender! Release me!” he gasps, attempting to catch the breath that was punched out of him the moment he was shoved to the floor.
Without Robin’s steel grip on his shoulders, he was able to squirm out from under her and escape the two beasts he calls ‘friends’. Eddie stands, attempting to smooth out his hair; across from him, the shining twins stood, arms crossed and hips popped out in motherly disapproval.
Steve’s expression held a sternness that was rivaled only by Robin’s next to him.
Never one for a moment of silence, Robin spoke first. “Eddie. Tell us what’s happening. Now”. The air seemed to thicken in the room; Eddie’s skin felt itchy and uncomfortable. The tension was nauseating, he knew he was in trouble, and he was uncertain if he could peacock his way through this.
Rubbing his hands over his face and groaning, he falls on the couch once again. “Ok, ok, I’m sorry.” Eddie’s face was grim and cold, lacking the sunshine he normally exudes. “I got diagnosed with something, but before you start worrying, it's not contagious like that. So, you guys are safe and all…” He took a deep breath in, “But if you want me to move out, I get it. I don’t want to make either of you uncomfortable”.
Steve’s eyes are glassy with unshed tears; Robin’s lip is quivering as she blinks rapidly. They both miss the small spark of mischief that flickers in Eddie’s eyes. Before Eddie can even come clean and get to the punch line, they pull him up and wrap him up in a suffocating hug. His face shoved into the warmth of Steve’s chest and his side compressed against Robin. Both their arms were like vise grips around him, locking Eddie in place.
Eddie was quiet, not for a lack of words, but a lack of air; he couldn’t fucking breathe. Robin loosened her grip and Eddie gasped for air as she tried to speak through sniffles. “We love you Eds. Of course we don’t want you to move!” Steve nodded vigorously in agreement, “Yeah we want to support you, man. This is scary, but we’ve handled scary before”.
Steve pulled him close for one more squeeze before letting him go, Robin still clung to his side. She pulled back a bit before she said, “Did you really think we would let you deal with this alone? You’re our friend, Eddie”. Her voice was full of hurt and anxiety, Eddie wanted to soothe her and fix it.
“Well, no I didn’t think that, bu-”
Steve interrupted, unable to let Eddie finish his thought. “Look I know what you’re going to say, but Eds, it could’ve been any of us! Your sexuality doesn’t make it your fault, ya know” Steve was earnest as he spoke, which made Eddie even more bewildered.
What did his sexuality have to do with anything?
He stepped back, hoping the small distance would help bring clarity to the situation. “Ok, I think there’s been a mix up here, 'cause I’m lost” he holds up his hands in innocent surrender. Robin and Steve, the terrible twosome, stare back at him in equal confusion.
“You’re confused? I’m confused!” Robin throws her hands in the air, Steve stares blankly at the floor trying to puzzle out what the hell is happening. Robin spun on her heel, “Wait, Eddie, what were you diagnosed with?”. She had a gleam in her eye, she figured it out.
Eddie pulled his hair in front of his face, and shamefully flopped back onto the couch, shoving his face in between the cushions.
“Mhmnngmhhn” his words too muffled to make out from under the mess of hair and old couch stuffing.
Robin exasperated, looks at Steve, tossing an awkward gesture in Eddie’s direction. Still confused, Steve leaned forward to pull the grumbling mop of hair out from the cushions. Eddie released a loud groan, squishing his eyes closed so he didn’t have to look at Steves concerned face.
Steve squished Eddie's face in his hands and looked him in the eye to say, “Hey can you repeat that for me? I don’t speak couch.” Eddie’s mask of perpetual sorrow and shame broke for a moment to let out a small chuckle. Robin rolls her eyes and plops down next to Eddie, “We just wanna help” she says tentatively like she might scare him away.
Shoving his head back into the couch crevasse, Eddie screams “I SAID… mnhngnmmh”.
A loud clap breaks through Eddie’s pitty fest and makes him sit upright. Steve is standing before him, hands on hips. “You’re killin’ us Eds. I’m calling the party.”
He grabs the walkie, “Hey guys-”
“I SAID I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH GIGANTICUS GENITALIUS!” Eddie’s face was red, the vein in his forehead ready to pop, panic and guilt in his eyes visible. Once the words leave his mouth he lets out a scream and tries to crawl underneath the couch, a space that obviously would not fit a grown man. In a whimper of failure, he falls back on the couch hiding his face behind Robin’s shoulder.
After an uncomfortable silence, he only peeks out when he feels Robin shaking next to him. She’s laughing, “She’s fucking laughing!” Eddie was angry, no wait, he was relieved?
As he went through the 5 stages of grief, he spun around to look at Steve. Steve whose face is bright red and his eyes tearing up as he holds back hysterical giggles. And Eddie just stands there, baffled, as he watches his two friends collapse onto the floor in a cramp-inducing fit of laughter. Once the shock passed, Eddie fell apart and joined them on the floor, his bright smile and dimples out in full force.
“Giganticus Genitalius”, Robin squealed in between hiccuping breaths of air. Eddie smacked her arm only for Steve to retaliate by giving him a vicious noogie. They spend way too long laying together on the floor, repeating the awful joke back and forth until their stomachs hurt from the laughter.
“We thought you were dying!” Steve manages to choke out. Robin soberly sits up and looks at Eddie, “I thought we would have to have the safe sex talk again”. Her serious attitude was met with a pillow to the face and a screech that sounded a lot like Eddie saying “We said we would never speak of that again!”.
Once the laughter died down, and they were breathing hard, Steve spoke quietly. “Really, we’re glad you’re ok Munson”.
