hello interwebs!!! I am currently working on a small oil painting of Byler and I am posting my work in progress here because why not. Currently it has next to no detail, and the underpainting colors are really showing through a lot with Will's clothes and Mike's face, but I'm taking a break so the first layer of oil paint can dry up a bit more. Should have this done by next Tuesday so I'll follow up with that then!!!

The fact that Will would never make the first move because he’s already convinced himself that his feelings would never be reciprocated no matter how hopeful he gets because each time he’s tried to get closer to Mike he’d been put to the side again for Eleven, eventually making him feel like his feelings are stupid and he should just bury them down. The van scene was proof of this, he was ripping off the bandaid, the bandaid of hope.

hi I decided to do a scene redraw/study of that one scene where Mike and Will have that little heart to heart on that broken down car in S4 because why not??

anyways I put almost 11 hours of blood sweat and tears into this (I procrastinated a lot).. I’m surprised my hand didn’t fall off. it’s okay though!! i lived.

hopefully it doesn’t look like it got exported on a potato because that happened on Instagram and I got sad because of it. BUT it’s tumblr and tumblr has better image quality so I don’t care.
