okay but imagine one of the yandere fruity four (let’s say Nancy, because she’s been a bit of an example used before poor girl) just snaps and kidnaps you, without thinking about it or consulting the rest of the group. And obviously now all of them have to deal with the repercussions of her actions
Anon I am kissing you on the mouth late for valentines thank you
Things like this are so interesting though! Because if you saw Nancy kidnapping you, and she takes you to the others, home, fuck yes they are so pissed at Nancy, but now they can’t let you go. Because you saw Nancy, one of them, and they can’t put her, or any of their family (you, too, are part of their family) in danger.
So okay, you are joining the family this way. They prepared for this scenario anyway.
Of course they thought they’d have more time, because just... up and taking you would have been a last shot, if after they courted you you still said no- you weren’t sure, or you couldn’t because of some horrible reason restricting your choice :(. They would have helped you through that last alternative anyway, because they love you <3
Not all of them even thought down the taking you path... Well okay actually, all of them did, some of them would have just been a lot quieter about it than others. And some definitely would have only had it as their last, last, very last option if they were that desperate and there was nothing else they could do for you... But you’re here now. They love you. They’ll make it work, as best as they can for you. You deserve that, after everything you’ve been put through now, at the very least.
You deserve everything.
So now not only were you betrayed by one friend, but when you see your other friends, you realise you’ve been betrayed by all of them. All four of your best friends, all of them were lying to you, all of them had this crazy thing about you behind your back together, all of them were going to hurt you by keeping you here, and protect each other instead...
Like I said, the other three are pissed when Nancy tells them what she’s done. Eddie tried to run straight upstairs for you, to the spare room Nancy put you in, that they were all planning to be your room eventually anyways. But she grabs him so hard he nearly breaks his leg, gripping onto the bannister and being yanked down those first couple of steps.
Even Robin’s trying to push past, standing up to Nancy for one of the first proper times, at least physically, as she uses her height to stand practically chest to chest with Nancy, and demand she let her and Eddie go to you right now, and to not mess anything up anymore. Robin’s face serious, and dark, and pissed, as she looms in front of Nancy, a way she’s never been before, not to one of the others.
But Nancy begs everyone to listen first. She’s in tears shortly into her argument, her defence more of an apology than anything, and speeching a stance of what they can all do next, to keep this all together. She knows she fucked up. And Nancy usually doesn’t cry when trying to debate something. But Nancy knows what a whole mess this thing is, and it is entirely her fault; no one else to blame but her this time. She doesn’t want to lose the others either. And she can’t lose you, hopefully if the others stay with her, they’ll help you come back around to her too...
But when the other three first burst into your room, they are in shock.
Yeah they knew you were up here. God, they were practically scratching layers beneath their skin and bouncing the floorboards into dust, knowing you were tied up and frightened and all alone up there, but they were taking forever to talk downstairs. A family meeting without you... the last time that’ll happen, they swear okay? ...Apart from the ones where you don’t need to know something that will just upset you.
Immediately they’re running forwards and untying you. Nancy practically had your whole body bound in rope, she was really panicking after hitting you over the head and deciding to just take you.
Shock still on their faces as Eddie undoes your ear muffs and scarf blindfold from Nancy’s winter wear, wanting you to find your senses, caring about you more than anything else right now. He needs you to not be even more frightened, panicked, to know it’s him and you’re safe now and this will never happen to you again - it shouldn’t have. His hands brushing your cheeks as he removes them. His face tender and soothing and heightened with adrenaline, taking this so so seriously as he frees you, let’s you get your senses back. Keeps his hands stroking your cheeks as you see him, because you know Eddie will keep you safe.
Steve apologising profusely and promising you’re alright over and over, as he immediately moves to assessing the rope situation. Deciding to just cut them all with a pocket knife in his jeans, instead of having you in them for five more seconds. Taking it out and being thankful he has all his family here, because as you notice it’s them, your friends, coming to save you, once Eddie’s freed your eyes, you settle down enough so Steve won’t nick you, as he quickly gets to work. Fuck all this rope, Nancy shouldn’t need any more anyway, she shouldn’t be doing anything by herself anymore if she’s hurting you, and all of you, like this!
Robin breaking Eddie’s handcuffs Nancy stole that are tying you to the your bedpost, while you lay on the floor all wrapped up. She doesn’t even really know how she does it in the end. She just acts quick and makes sure not to hurt your wrist. Permanently breaking something belonging to Eddie’s personality that Nancy had twisted and used to victimise you... Robin could really mess with her right now. But at least once it’s done, it’s easier for Steve, dealing with all that rope. Used just for you, someone who wouldn’t hurt anyone. And you’ve been laying on the carpeted floor with your whole body tied up and senses stolen, with nothing even coating your injured head...
All their eyes wet and terrified and loving and soothing and deep in yours. Eddie holding your face as his dark puppy eyes stay closest to yours, walking you through some calming talk as he holds you. Steve promising he’s getting you out right now and shushing you as he says you’re okay, every time he feels it’s safe enough to look up from his knife, task oriented. Robin joining Steve the second she’s broken the cuffs, her blue eyes less teary and so determined, because she is deep in protective mode right now, letting you know when it’ll be over soon.
As soon as you see the others, especially with their shock, their runs to free you, their soothing and apologetic and horrified words, all you can think is thank god. You’re trying to tell them Nancy has suffered some kind of episode, even though you’re sure they already know that. Nancy wasn’t in this room, and they all knew where you were, they were still just shocked to see you like this.
As soon as they’ve got you free, you leap forward, and because of positioning alone, Steve is the first one you hug. He practically lifts you upright, back onto your feet, the moment he hugs you back, even if it does take him a second before he does so.
Steve sniffles as he hugs you, his toned arms shaking but not from the effort of those ropes. His cheek pressed to yours, as he blinks tears down his face, being brushed away by your hair as he lets you sink into his protective hold. Thanking him, hugging one of your best friends, because he saved you, like you knew he would.
Steve hugs you back, because he’s your hero briefly, and he’s aware this will be the last time you’ll hug him for a while. Any of them. Last time you’ll hug them like this, like the you who you still are, for a while. Steve doesn’t want you to change, Nancy shouldn’t have-
He knows this new arrangement will take some getting used to. For all of them. Especially because you probably are going to change as a person, as someone they all know, they love for who you are. But it’s okay, of course they’ll love you anyway, no matter what.
You tell them again about Nancy suffering some sort of break, clearly something is very wrong with her mental health you say, and they all say they know, which you assume they did as they knew where to find you. They’re all relishing in these last few seconds with you, mourning the normal future they know they could have had with you, by keeping their hands on you while they can right now
Steve rubbing your shoulders with his thumbs, his hands grounding you there with comfort and strength, after you pulled back from the hug. Eddie cupping your cheek and neck, still so close by, his other ringed hand cradling through your hair, and biting his lip as he tries not to think about next time he’ll be able to do this again. Robin rubbing your back up and down, her hand resting on your hip like it usually is with you, knowing she’s lost that normalcy, one type of relationship with you now.
And then you realise that all four of your friends are kidnapping you now. They’re all insane. What the fuck have they been thinking about you this entire time? Why are they doing this now? They’ve untied you from your restraints, Steve is nearly on his knees whilst keeping his hands on your shoulders, as he begs you to believe you’ll never be restrained again, but explains they’re still locking you in this room for now.
Stealing you in Steve’s slightly soundproofed house, with no neighbours in viewable distance through the trees of Hawkins around.
At least the house you were to be kept prisoner in was very lovingly built by the architect... The way out of Steve’s house was a straight line, a path easy for anyone facing that way to spot. Easy for them to see anyone leaving on. If no one came to the front door, and knowing - or rather not knowing what these four were capable of - you’re sure they’d be able to keep people away, then there’s no way you’d be spotted. And while Steve hadn’t soundproofed the house or anything dramatic like that, it did keep sound well. It kept everything in well. Which was unfortunate for you.
Begging one of them to be on your side. Doing so as soon they forlornly tell you what’s going to happen now, for the first couple of days. Like for Robin or Eddie to help you. You’re very quickly trying to refigure out your friends. But they don’t. They don’t let you free. They don’t get you the phone. They want you to know they are on your side, they tell you they don’t want you to feel like you’re all on your own, but you say that you are, because they won’t help you.
They sadly trot away, closing your door behind you, to respect you and your boundaries. Sulking away upset, even if they do understand. But if making them upset that they’re making you feel this way helps you get out, then good! But also they should feel upset! They should feel guilty!
You’ll tell them how abandoned and alone you feel, that neither of them are supporting you, you can’t trust them to be by your side, and they can’t promise you it’s untrue, because you have all this evidence to throw in their face, or to tearily testify with. They say they’ll do anything else for you, anything in the world. Even though every single thing you ask for the first day they say no to.
Nancy begging you not to blame/be mean to the others. But what else can you respond with other than actually you will keep doing so, as they are just as complicit as her because they are keeping you here.
“Do you know the law Nancy? They will also be thrown away for kidnapping. You definitely shouldn’t go for that position as a crime reporter, if you don’t know the law.”
The ‘will’ hurts Nancy. As if you really do want them all sent away to prison. Like you’d try to do that to them if they gave you that bit of freedom right now. Like you’re planning on it happening.
You don’t want Nancy to get that stupid promotion. You don’t exactly care how she feels about herself, unless it’s guilty enough to set you free... or upset enough to hurt- Unless it affects your chances of getting out of here unharmed, you couldn’t give one about her feelings.
“Also fuck you.” Is the other thing you say to Nancy. Right before she leaves you to yourself again.
They try to give you privacy, but also keep you at a level of interaction with them like before. Just like before Nancy hurt you - they are really apologetic for that, and really are glad you let them take care of your poor minor head injury. A similar amount of time that you’d interact with them everyday, before you lived with them. So you weren’t going through too many changes, and so you weren’t scared each time they did breach your new bedroom. They want you to feel normal, they really really do.
Steve mentioned to you about two weeks in, when he came in to chat with you like they all do, that if Nancy gets some promotion she’s working towards, it’ll mean more funds in the household for everyone! He says it while practically bouncing on your- the bed, with a smile. Although he quickly gets that expression on his face, the one you used to think was dorky and endearing, where he realised he may have messed up while speaking, and he quickly rectifies that of course that’s not to say anything negative about you now also pulling from the household pot, and that they’re very happy to have you, they’ve always been planning for that; especially since they know you really wanted that break because you were so burned out, so they were gonna give it to you with all their financial support. All their support in the world. Also, the amount they used to buy you gifts, or nights out, or pay for gas to see you, you were always a part of the pot anyway.
You tell Steve to go away, before he can smile for a second time today. It is very rare any of them smile, in this first week or two they have you. Sometimes they forget things aren’t like they used to be. Or they try to treat things like normal, to help you transition. But you definitely weren’t smiling, and they knew, no matter how much the fact made them want to claw their own hearts out, they knew they were the reason why. So they didn’t really feel any reason for them to smile. Not so far anyway.

OH GOD...
I saw your porn star Steve drabble, and I...
The fruity four taking your virginity, but all of them are pornstars and they're all yandere for you.
CAN YOU IMAGINE????
HEH.....HEH.......HEHEH!!!!
(cws: fruity four, modern/pornstar au, f!angelface, only the slightest inkling of possessiveness, camming, mentions of anal/pegging/dark sexual fantasies/squirting/femdom/sex toys/masturbation/virginity loss)
Tumblr media
So. As we've established: Anal King Steve. But as for the others, they range with varying degrees of notoriety and popularity, but they're all pretty well-known nonetheless because they all associate with Steve, who is by far the most recognized.
Obviously, most of Steve's work is anal-based, although he didn't necessarily start out that way. He mostly just made use of a spicy twitter account to post his nudes and a couple videos, and before long he got contacted by an agency for some newbie scenes and ended up getting super popular. He mostly started out with just the generic stuff, but with peppering his self-directed movies with his preferred kink, his career really took off and he became very well-known in the anal category. Plenty of videos with titles like "(Insert porn actress) gets her ass stretched for the first time by King Steve", where the content is usually sweet and only on the cusp of being rough. But he's delved into the genre of painal plenty of times before, and while he's a gentle giant most of the time, he's deliriously sexy when he's being mean and holding down his chosen costar to pummel their poor ass into submitting to him.
Nancy's an acquired taste. Her femdom videos can either be sweet and very darling with all her cute clothes and girl-next-door appearance, or they can be brutal and she can exercise the full extent of her dommy mommy persona. But she's actually in one of the top earners for her category because of how big her singular donations can get--in a private camshow, she can earn up to thousands of dollars just by offering the pleasure of degrading whoever it is that's paid for her precious time. Pegging is one of her popular categories too, with both men and women happily submitting to Mistress as she turns their subby little brains into mush. Despite coming off as a top, she likes bottoming and being a little more relaxed and submissive too, she just usually keeps that for home sex so she can keep up her image online.
Robin's a very popular sub online, she has people flooding her comments with sweet, needy compliments and envy at the girls she does movies with. She cams a lot despite coming off as awkward and shy oftentimes, and it makes her some serious money especially when she does request streams, where she's completely at the mercy of her viewers. She's had to replace her donation-controlled vibrator several times now, since it's such a popular event on her livestreams that people will pool their donations on repeat just so Robin ends up cumming uncontrollably when it doesn't stop, terrorizing her poor, sensitive clit on the highest setting for all her viewers to enioy. She does a lot of squirting videos ever since she learned how to make herself do it, although she's also a fan of tribbing and facesitting too, especially when she's the one getting absolutely ruined by a pretty girl on top of her.
Eddie's pretty popular as a non-traditional pornstar. He started out doing more hardcore stuff, uncommon kinks and other stuff that tickles the fancy of those who like darker fantasies, and he stars less in actual productions and mostly relies on twitter and his OF. He does everything from knifeplay, handcuffs, and cnc to choking and heavy bondage, slasher cosplays and blood kinks and waxplay and hard domination--and then, here and there, he'll surprise his viewers with a very intimate and affectionate video with lots of kissing, hair stroking, and praise whispered into his partner's ear. He's got range. Lots of thirst traps and desperate people in his DMs, despite being so accessible he's got that aura of being some cool, unattainable man with a dick thick enough to break you. But he's such a senseless dork in real life, it's honestly such a shocking shift in personality for anyone that might only know him online.
And when the four of them individually announced their "group collaboration" with the other three, all four fanbases went wild. Four incredibly hot pornstars moving into one house together, with all the opportunity for collaborative videos one could ask for? It's a dream come true for any fan of theirs, save some of the obsessive weirdos and creeps. However, the fifth room in their new house poses a bit of a problem--it's a waste to leave it empty, but they don't have anything to really fill it, so Steve decides to post an ad for a roommate but avoids any association with his or the other's profession. Don't want some stalker or psycho moving in just to try and take advantage of any of them, so Steve just puts up the ad in a Hawkins-based forum and waits to get a response.
When you show up on their doorstep, though, fuck. He didn't think you'd be this cute in person, even though you had sent a picture to identify yourself along with some of your ID to sign for the lease. Being from out of town you'd been desperate to find a place to stay on your low budget, and you didn't mind living in a co-ed with multiple people, so you fit the main two standards. As for everything else, you seem eager to keep things clean and you offer to help out with whatever chores that need doing, as long as they're within your capability, so you're perfect in that sense. It's obviously a little awkward when Steve has to warn you about their careers, though, so you have time to back out before you sign the papers--he tries to make it as clear as possible that they're not working a prostitution ring or anything, and that they in no way expect you to participate, and that they have a schedule for filming and will run changes by you well in advance so you can avoid certain rooms or be out of the house to do something else. But you seem fine with it, and you aren't even really familiar with their accounts which is kind of a relief, so it really turns out well when you move in and start living amongst your very attractive roommates.
It's nice for a while. They're all kind to you, and you get to know each other pretty quick, but there's tension in the air. Nancy can tell you're inexperienced by the way you seem so flustered around the boys when they wander by in their underwear, and how you react to the simplest gestures of kindness or flirtation like it's the most flattered you've ever been. When Robin compliments your style and tells you how gorgeous you look before you leave the house, you look so shocked and utter a "really?" that's so sweet she makes it a point to compliment you way more often. But Eddie's the one that extracts the truth out of you, that you're a virgin, after a few drinks you two share following a late night out at the movies. He doesn't kiss you that night, but that's when he realizes he wants to.
A little while after that, after Eddie swears to shut his mouth but you feel comfortable enough to mention it in passing to the others, you decide to sate your curiosity and do a little research on your roommates and they're happy to give you a tour. They ease you in slow with Robin's account on phub, show you some of her teaser videos on twitter and her camsite, and they make it fun--they do it in the style of a movie night, getting snacks and cracking jokes as they screenshare Steve's phone to the tv as you pore over each of their portfolios. Gradually, you make your way down the list to their collaborations and the harder stuff, the mean and degrading clips that have your tummy buzzing as you sit between them on the sofa. They finally get to their group account, filled with all the stuff they've filmed in the house--some of it you've heard through the wall and touched yourself to--and you get to see them teasing each other in real life while they moan and sweat onscreen.
You get to watch Robin ride Nancy's face while she tugs on her hair, hips jumping and belly concaved as she gasps and whimpers out the sweetest dirty talk you've ever heard. They scroll over a link to phub titled "King Steve punishes Eddie the Banished with rough barebacking" with a thumbnail showing off Eddie's fucked-out face as Steve has his foot on the back of his head, eyeliner smudged and tearstreaked while his partner's cock is almost completely buried in his ass. Nancy insists on showing you a video they've filmed of her pegging Steve on his bare mattress, clearly taken just as they were moving in--that certainly hadn't stopped her from plowing him into it though, his arms wrapped tight around her as he clings to her chest and moans out pleas for her not to stop. And all the while she's teasing him, suggesting that maybe she should have the title of "anal king" after this.
You're so wet an hour into this showing that it's ridiculous. You're squirming so bad in your seat that you're practically begging one of them to touch you, no matter how quiet you are as Steve asks if you're cool and you nod a yes.
"Sorry, honey. Too much?" Eddie queries, stretching his arm out a little further from where it's draped over the couch, just barely touching your shoulders but not enough. He smiles to reassure you, about to suggest that maybe you all can switch from the porn to watching a movie instead--but then you blurt it all out, and the feelings that have been building up for months are suddenly all hanging out in the open.
"Would you take my virginity?"
They're struck silent, looking back at you with wide eyes that render you mute in seconds--you know that was such a mistake, it was too far, and you pray to god that Steve doesn't just throw you out. But you also fear the awkwardness of living out the rest of your lease with your roommate-turned-friends thinking you're a weirdo, and in some way it might be better if you just got kicked out.
Then they start exchanging looks. They start grinning. And when they finally deign to acknowledge you, the precious little virgin squished up between Eddie and Nancy on the couch they've fucked on a hundred times, you feel like you're the bunny facing the jaws of wolves upon wandering into their den. Steve reaches over Nancy's lap to rub your knee through your jeans, and his eyes flutter to a half-lidded expression of desire, before he speaks up in place of all his other romantic partners.
"We can do whatever you want, baby. Just no cameras this time--I want you all to us for this."

Wait wait wait so the others basically admitted they’re in love with you now with those last two posts as a canon, considering the whole we’re a family thing and here’s why we’re keeping you so like how would them trying to start their relationship with you go down now? Cos like you said I don’t think that would be a smooth transition
Duuude you are so big brained bc this is definitely something I wanna talk about so thank you!! Bc bc exactly right?? They’ve finally basically admitted ‘hey we all love you (to the point Nancy snapped and kidnapped you) and want you to be part of our family forever <3333’ so like, a lot of adjustments for you to make! Based on these two asks.
Yeah they’ve all basically admitted their feelings, but you’ve all been so caught up in... recent events, that there’s not really been any kind of honeymoon glow, or really, any kind of proper love confession at all. Not even really a talk about it.
I’m imagining Eddie makes a move first. It’s the first few days, and you’re at least calmer around him than you are Nancy - and then Steve really tried to hug you the first full day so that didn’t help him - and overall Eddie more calm and understanding the first few days. Especially because he yelled at Nancy in front of you, so you’re hoping Eddie might be your way out of here. Considering he seems less on board with the whole kidnapping you thing.
And you singling him out a little as the one you haven’t screamed at for being alone in the room with you, makes Eddie feel a bit more reassured. He shouldn’t.
At first he tries to kiss you on your forehead, as he sits side by side with you on your bed, but you immediately lean far away from Eddie when he does that. You pull back, explaining with a quiet shock about how that is not it, not right now. But that’s when Eddie tells you “I love you.”
It’s the first time he’s ever told you that. Something Eddie has been waiting to say since he first met you. Something he’s been dying for you to know because it’s the most important thing in his world, you are. Eddie is so in love with you, like he’s never loved anyone before, and he’s finally told you it. You’re the first person he’s ever told that he loves, because he’s been so so afraid of being rejected and called a freak and being unloveable his whole entire life.
And then you grimace. You scowl. And you look sick. You back up even further away on the bed, as you look into Eddie’s doe brown eyes as if he was disgusting, as if he was stupid, how dare he, as you tell him the epitome of ew, no, never. Not now. And after this, not ever.
Eddie finally tells you he loves you for the first time... and that’s how you react.
Eddie leaves your bedroom crying.
Especially after the demobat attack he survived, the other three could never imagine Eddie being in pain and you not being there for him. You didn’t leave his hospital bed ever. But now you’re the cause of it. Eddie is shaking sobbing into his bed, absolutely ruined.
He wails so loudly as he chokes on his cries, his body fiercely trembling, especially as he keeps a vice like grip on his pillow. So hard his nails are getting through it and digging painfully into his own palm. That vulnerability and love in Eddie’s eyes, shattered, replaced by teary darkness. When they’re not scrunched up in torture. Eddie is absolutely heartbroken. Howling out genuinely pained sobs as they all try and comfort him, but nothing is working. They know barely anything would, not without you, but they know they love Eddie too, and will keep trying to help him through this, as hard as they fucking can.
They feel how devastated Eddie is. It’s wrecking them to feel his pain like this. And they know they’d be pretty much the same too, if you’d reacted the same way to their faces.
Steve has to get a vomit bucket ready because Eddie is gagging on his groans and sobs. His arm clutching his stomach, but no one can get him to say if he feels like he’s gonna be sick. Eddie pretty much pleads your name out, rambles terribly about everything that’s happened, or just keeps crying harder and harder.
It’s breaking their fucking hearts.
Robin is on the bed with Eddie, and Steve is swiping his hair back from his forehead, especially because Eddie’s so worked up he’s sweating like a sauna, even as he shakes fervently, while Robin tries to rub his arm, his back, anything that usually works. Nancy also feeding him water, letting him squeeze her hand so he doesn’t break his own knuckles from clenching so tightly, all of them trying to get him through this.
But at one point during all this, Eddie basically throws Nancy out of his room. Upon his sobbing, fuzzy, brain he remembers, through her soothing hand strokes and caring blue eyes, that she’s the reason this is all happening. He tells her to get out with a “This is all your fault!”
And the others stay with Eddie, they don’t go to Nancy. Because not only is he in such need of their care and comfort right now, but he’s also correct. And they know it, they may have partially forgiven Nancy enough to move on, but she’s not out of the water yet, this is still early days. And if it wasn’t for her, you nor Eddie would be suffering; even if she’s upset at being rejected by Eddie so clearly, Eddie’s in way more pain than she could be right now. Again, remembering what it was like being by his side after the demobats... they all really can’t stand seeing Eddie so hurt, including emotionally. Robin and Steve stick together, and that’s by Eddie’s bedside right now.
Nancy does leave, she shuts her mouth, after apologising once again, and she leaves. Closing Eddie’s bedroom door, her eyes apologetic to Steve and Robin, except they’re not looking at her eyes anymore by the time she’s in the doorway. Nancy goes to her room, gets her stuffed childhood toy to muffle her noise, and she cries and cries too, because she knows it is. This is all her fault. She has hurt poor Eddie, and you. She’s hurt her entire family.
Eddie is in pain for days after. Weeks really, the others can see it still affecting him. The first night Steve stayed in his bed and Eddie had cried even throughout sleep.
The whole morning he was a sniffling shell of himself. Eddie completely broken by how his love confession to you had gone. Even during those two weeks Eddie still walks a little slower, keeps his head bent down, doesn’t talk like he normally does. He is wrecked.
But Steve convinces him to get back on the horse the first afternoon after your rejection. He brings Eddie to your room, both of them bringing you a meal, and a couple of new books, talking idly about the bookshelf they’re going to build you in here. You have the same disdain as usual towards all of them, but no special hatred towards Eddie. You look at them the same.
Eddie does feel a little better after he and Steve leave your room. But he’s putting his hand to his chest to find his breath again, before Steve can even finish latching your second lock. Steve was right though, it was good to go back today, and Eddie did feel slightly better. Even if your words, your face, your reaction still lingered in his heart and mind for several days more.
Eddie tried to be better around you, the same soothing rock you needed right now, sensitive to you like always, but he allowed himself to be more melancholy around the others, as he actually felt. He didn’t need to hide from them. You were the one he and his partners all needed to be strong for, at this point in your lives.
Eddie did not appreciate when Nancy tried to get him to eat one time during this period though. Robin was guiding Nancy out of the room before Eddie could go on about how dare she after everything she’s done, again.
Nancy steers clear of Eddie for a couple of days respectfully. All of them, really, because she knows they’re still upset at her putting not just you, but all of them in this situation.
Nancy was upset with herself too, she could handle it. She knows she just has to deal with the cards she’s dealt herself, and she just tries to breathe in, and breathe out, as she thinks of how they’re all working towards building a better future for you, and for all of you as a family, together.
It’s not just Eddie though. They’re all living with the knowledge that at least they’re free of keeping that particular secret from you, that side of them, you know they’re in love with you now.
But they were also quite close with you when you all were just ‘friends’. So surely at least they can try and bring back some of that normalcy, maybe the familiarity again would even help you, right?
Robin tries to give you a side hug one of your first days in, and you nearly bite her arm. Not even in an affectionate way. Steve checks on the teeth scrape mark once Nancy’s locked your door, and he’s got Robin calm enough to sit down in the bathroom with him, but it’s a super minor scrape. As if in the last second you didn’t want your mouth to touch her, and you backed off.
Steve doesn’t exactly say this, but he is talking as he checks out Robin’s bicep, and without really thinking as he goes, and with their platonic soulmate mind meld, Robin immediately also comes to this conclusion. She almost wishes you actually did bite her. Maybe also then, she’d feel just a fraction of her guilt resolve. With you able to take out at least something on her, like truthfully you deserve. Robin’s spending a half hour shaking into Steve’s hug in that bathroom, just not because of her injury.
Steve, poor lost romantic Steve, tries to go in for his first kiss with you. He takes it slow, Steve’s fingers are gentle on your chin as he lifts it, but of fucking course that doesn’t work out either.
He immediately backs off, of course he does, but he does try to stick around and profusely apologise to you afterwards. Even when Eddie’s trying to drag him out so he doesn’t get hit by another book. Steve will take it, all of what you want to throw at him, but he sincerely feels the need to apologise to you for even going towards taking that step when it’s exceedingly obvious now that you clearly didn’t want that.
He’s crying to the other three next, guilt wracking him. Which is why he took leaning in slow, just so you could move away if you want. But he hopes you know he’s safe. That they all are. That part of the reason he wanted to stay and apologise, but also because you deserved one. He really didn’t want to screw things up. You weren’t as terrible with him as you were with Nancy, something Steve tries to skirtingly explain because Nancy’s right there rubbing his knee throughout his sniffling conversation with them, but he just doesn’t want to make things worse with you.
To be fair, none of them could imagine living in a world where these were your reactions to their genuine gestures of love. It was like living in their worst nightmares. But they created this nightmare, and it was something they were forcing you to live in. And unfortunately, they couldn’t wake up and go drive to see you and hang out like normal afterwards anymore. There was no relief. They had created this.
None of them are forcing their touch on you, not at all. They’d probably turn on another if the caught them doing so! But after weeks of you screaming at any one of them trying to just touch you in any way, it is very draining on them.
Not that you exactly care about them being drained. They kidnapped you.
Nancy takes it much slower. She doesn’t try to kiss you first or envelop you in a hug or curl up thigh to thigh or anything with you very quickly. But she is constantly telling you how much she loves you. And that might be worse for you.
She’s declaring “I love you.” Over and over again. It’s done in so many ways, serious and desperate, panicked and repeated, somber and reminding, genuine and heartfelt, craving and lovesick, caring protectively and apologetic, every way. Sometimes multiple times in a go, sometimes only once as she makes a serious remark, but Nancy is constantly telling you those three big words.
To you it’s on par with psychological torture. You know this isn’t why she’s saying it, Nancy’s not trying to break your mind irreparably, she’s just that lovesick. But even her saying it in an apologetic way, not only does it not at all make up for any of it, but it just plain makes things worse. You hate when she says that. And Nancy is the main one who won’t stop telling you.
Don’t even get me started on them always knocking while you’re in your en-suite, to check you’re okay. And are still there/not planning anything.
Even if it’s them worrying you’ve been on the toilet so long do you need some medicine? Or if you’ve fallen asleep in the bath? Do you want dinner now or in half an hour? If you’re injured, trying to get your permission to come in so they can help you with any bathing stuff - not to see you naked, genuinely to help you out, especially if you’re hurt, and also yes because maybe there is some trust and also domestic bliss and care entangled in there.
You thought about breaking the mirror in your bathroom. Actually more than once. But that would only be useful as potentially a distraction, but mostly a weapon, and you’re still unsure if you want to really hurt them, or hurt yourself, just to try and escape. Also, you don’t want loads of things taken away from you, that they might deem potentially dangerous, that will make you feel even more restricted, imprisoned, dehumanised. Because you’re already aware you are struggling.
If they started making lists of what could potentially be a risk that’s in your room, if you ever created a big enough incident, then you’re sure, knowing them really now, that they’d find enough things to remove from your presence. Enough to are you finally slip over the edge. You already got lamps and water glasses/ceramic crockery restricted, you don’t think going without a mirror to see yourself is going to help your mental health here. Nor your fight to get out of this family, this future you have right here...
You actually think about potential lists. The glass in your watch, without telling the time you will definitely go nuts. The wires in your tv, the wood from your bedpost you could carve/bludgeon with, your favourite bedsheets that could make a rope, even the fucking windows. And you know if you’re thinking of those things, the four out there have thought of a dozen times more. You’d rather stay sane, have belongings to make you feel like an actual human being, and fight back once you’ve got a viable plan.
They eventually will start being desperate enough to get you to accept their simplest touches again though. They want to build everything back up with you, because right now your relationship with them is just getting drastically worse and worse.
No more slapping Robin because she caught you when you nearly tripped. No more yanking actual tufts of Eddie’s hair out because he forgot his place and touched yours softly. No more pinning Nancy to the floor and screaming in her face wildly and threateningly so much that she gets democreature flashbacks while under you, just because her fingers brushed yours while passing you the water bottle you dropped. No more chasing Steve with scissors because he accidentally leaned into your thigh too much when sitting next to you - Nancy really should have considered it when she bought you that art set to try and make things up to you and make you feel a bit better.
They want to really start seeing some positive changes within you :). They don’t want you to feel this way anymore, they never have! With what they’ve got, they really are trying to help you out as best they can. Forgoing losing you.
They soon, one by one, will start laying by you when you’re asleep, without waking you up, just to be near you. Cleaning up your face after you cry, even if you try to wriggle out their hold, if nothing else is working why shouldn’t they try showing you how much you mean to them and they care for and love you, helping you take that first step because you’re scared to. Holding your arm to help you when you’re unsteady on your feet, even if they’re the ones getting shoved to the ground by you after that.
They want you to find normalcy in their touch again. So after a few weeks, they really will try reintroducing you to their loving physical touch. Just taking it softly and sweetly and slowly at first.
These are positive steps. They’ll work together so they’re more like a caring and authoritative source and not overbearing or scary. Like finally letting a kid go as they ride their bike or something. They are all helping you, even if you’re worried, but you’ll very quickly learn that you’re okay. You did it, and all went well, you’re not hurt, nothing bad happened, it’s just like before.
The four are trying to show you over and over again that they are safe, that they would never ever want to hurt you. You used to have their touch because they loved you, and you in a way loved them, it is still a nice thing. That would never change, okay? They just don’t want to go without your touch much longer. Not only do you need to get back on the horse, but they’re desperate to just be able to have that with you again, in any way at all.
They need you. But they also don’t want you to go so long without any human touch, it is so so bad for you sweetheart, they know you need them too. They’re gonna take things soooo gently and step by step with you, but not in a clinical way, in a genuine one. They’ll help you through this, it really doesn’t need to be a big hurdle, they know what’s best for you.
And you know, in your heart, and in your trembling body that hasn’t felt touch unless it was briefly scratching at another in a while, that they’re right too. It will help keep you feeling like you’re still somewhat as normal as before. That love, that genuine human connection that really has not changed from them for you, if not been discovered as slightly twisted, is still there, and all four of the people you are closest to are still here, to do everything for you.
You really do need some of that, some of your every day back. You’ve got a deficit of some things, you don’t want a deficit of love, of someone to be your rock for you whenever you can’t right now, of touch that will ground your mind body and soul. The catharsis of someone to cling onto, the fact you’re able to have someone hold you, the touch you used to give and receive constantly that you didn’t realise you could be stripped of, the genuine connection that makes you human. That reminds you more and more of who you are.
Not only that, but that you can still be that same person, the you you aren’t close to forgetting just yet, not just a few weeks in. But that you can give into humanity and love and stay the person you are - not knowing that thinking this, you already could be changing. But you’d rather change, than lose yourself completely. You don’t want to lose love, you don’t want to lose something so basically human as touch, you don’t want to change into someone frightened of it, when you know that your friends don’t want to hurt you. They want the same thing you do, and that’s for you to not lose yourself here.
And they will all hold your hand, every step of the way if you want <3333

omg so hopping on the being kidnapped by yan!f4 train imagine a couple of days after they’re all trying to be super nice to you, as if that’d make up for what they’re doing. Including Nancy, although I’m not sure if she’d be avoidant or extra attentive
A kiss for you too anon mwah. You’re absolutely right this needs to be talked about
After the initial couple of days of screaming and crying and fighting and all that angst, from you and the other four, they’re trying to lighten things up. Since you’ll be staying here for a long time, they want you to get used to living with them! To know as quickly as possible that they really are going to look after you now you’re home and they do love you, they’re sorry they were too scared to tell you sooner.
They all try to bring you things, whether that’s necessities like water and food, or simple nice things like a tv, some clothes from your home, some games - nothing you can use to contact outside though sorry, think of it like one of those detox’s they’ll say.
Items like that, but also gifts. You were lavished with gifts when they were trying to court you anyway, some you’d didn’t even know were their doing. But now they’re physically trying to hold themselves back from piling it on.
Yeah if you’d just joined their home like normal, choosing to get into the relationship after they won over your hearts in the way they were hoping to, they’d be piling the gifts so high you wouldn’t even be able to move in your brand new bedroom. But because of these circumstances, they don’t want you to think they’re trying to buy your affection/trust/forgiveness/love. They absolutely want to gift you everything ever the universe has to offer, but they’re aware everything is still a lot for you right now.
You might not be exactly in the mood for presents. They don’t want you ripping up a top they got you, using this new lamp to throw at their head (every lamp has been removed from your room now), using a pocketknife meant for protection by your lovers to help you escape from your lovers.
They’re not stupid, or emotionally unintelligent. They’re aware gifts are not even any sort of priority for you right now, actually with the way you’re acting they may just make you more pissed. So they save some lovely already gift wrapped items in their closets. Holding off booking that date at the new restaurant you haven’t been able to afford yet. Hoping that new movie stays in theatres long enough they don’t have to wait a year for a video release for you.
Definitely still they do give you presents. But not nearly as many as they’d smother you with if everything was perfect and lovey dovey and domestic harmony, and not like this.
They’re all trying so hard to be nice and helpful and kind. They really are.
And they won’t stop doing so for you, no matter how you act towards them, they understand, and it’s their jobs to not act even worse now, to be better no matter how you react to them.
After the initial couple of days of calming you, trying to explain your new life for now while you’re temporarily not quite understanding the situation that they themselves are in; it’s okay, they get it, they didn’t expect things to turn out this way either, it’s alright to feel upset, but they promise they’ll look after you; and also whilst planning amongst themselves how to keep you here and what the fuck they are gonna do now, they can at least prioritise from keeping you here and calm enough not to hurt yourself or anyone trying to escape, to trying to look after you emotionally and physically on every other level.
One of the ways they do that is they start decorating your brand new bedroom! Because unfortunately, they didn’t have time to do that before you moved in, which they are not happy about. Again, they are still mad at Nancy, for the situation she’s put all five of you in.
They bring new things in to spice up your room every day, someone having to be waiting by the door, because while Eddie might walk in with his arms full of posters, Steve has to grab you midair as you launch yourself through the opening. Eddie once had to wrestle you up into his grip and off your feet when you scratched Robin’s face up. The time you hid behind the door to leap out was scary too, for them, but Robin was waiting a few feet outside your entrance, physically blocking your path, when Steve had been knocked on his ass after being tricked into thinking the room was somehow completely empty.
But once the door’s closed again it’s okay. They’ll take you beating at their chest or yanking their hair out, and they know you won’t really try and hurt them (until the lamp incident... And unknowing that you’re seriously considering hostage taking at some point).
Nancy went through a catalogue with you months ago, back when you two were ‘friends’, just for fun she said, but it was to find your favourite wallpaper. She planned for the future back then, Steve sniped. But when talking to you, Steve asks if your favourite is still the same, but if not he’ll go through a different one with you! You can pick! Him and Robin even go together after work to get some of those paint colour sample cards.
You momentarily think about eating the pages from the catalogue, just to see if it’ll help your escape in anyway. At least instilling panic in the others that you’ll never be happy here, might work - it also might make things much worse. So that, and the worry if they’ll even take you to a doctor if something did happen, stops you from going to town on the paper. That and you really don’t want Steve’s fingers in your mouth, not when he’s secretly been this obsessed with you, even if it did meant you could bite him till it hurt.
Cuddly toys are something they think about getting, as you can’t hurt anyone or threaten to hurt yourself with them. The time you did threaten that last thing, they...
But at least you’ll have some comfort. Something soft and picked to be personable for you and safe. Something you can use for catharsis, talk to, cuddle, keep as a security blanket; especially when you won’t use them. And especially when you have so many nightmares, and you won’t let them help you when they come to wake you up, not even a little bit. That really kills them.
Maybe after hugging the toy they picked out for you, you’d eventually start to hug them finally again too. They also think about adding a scent of theirs into the toy.
Eddie was actually keeping a stuffed toy packed away as one of his many presents, to give you when you were feeling better, so he was a little annoyed when Robin went and straight up gave you one herself. She probably should have thought it through, finding the stuffing all shredded, shoved underneath your bedroom door, almost made her tear up. Although the four hearing you angrily bark that you’d set it on fire if you could was more horrifying...
Maybe they’d prefer if it was only them you could get hugs and comfort from right now. You’re also still not exactly giving a warm welcome to many of their gifts.
They can’t exactly bring much from your home, since you’re technically a missing person, but they get everything they can! Swapping from your old home to your new one here and there, over time. It’s alright anyway, even though they want to give you things from home to help soothe your transition, to help you stay connected to you. They know your personality soooo well, they know exactly what to get for your room! Even if there is some bickering over some of the interior design details.
The gang remember you pointing out how you liked a unique set of drawers, in the bedroom of your favourite character in a movie you were watching. They looked it up after the movie night, but the furniture didn’t actually exist, just a set piece. Eddie, Steve and Robin work really hard on creating that piece for you in the garage, a print of it hanging on the wall as they put their Hawkins High woodwork classes to use. They’re worried you won’t accept your gift if Nancy’s ‘tainted it’, after you had a pretty harsh ‘conversation’ with her the day they begin that project.
You bursting into tears at the sight of it when they happily present it to you in your room after weeks of dedicated work, was not at all the reaction they were wanting for you...
But they do try so so hard to perfect your bedroom. Not only is it going to be your room forever (well, unless you all move in your future), but at the moment, you’re going to be spending a lot of time in there. They add onto your room little by little nearly every day, to show their love for you constantly. Their dedication to making this work. That you are a part of their home now, this isn’t just a phase, they’re not going to throw you out like garbage. They promise you of that.
But also, Eddie desperately tells the others he wants you to keep your personality, your individuality, for you to keep being who you are. Not just ‘their love’, but you. He doesn’t want you to change, he reminds them none of them do, and he wants you to always know you’re still you, you don’t have to be reduced just because one freedom is temporarily restricted right now.
You’re not a mindless hostage, and if they ever sense they’ve begun to make you feel like that then they’ll have failed, they all decree to each other there and then.
It’s good Eddie is very emotionally intelligent. Of fucking course they all agree with him. But the larger details are something they can forget about, when keeping you safe at home is so prevalent on their minds.
Minor details of additional door locks, or the threat of having to create rules, or not being able to talk to other friends and family longer and longer, are not meant to chip away at you into becoming a traumatised and hopeless zombie.
Sure, Nancy is beaming the first time you let her sit on the corner of your bed, and Steve nearly cries when he manages to give you his shirt to change into and you don’t attack him (you didn’t notice it was his). But when they notice you disassociating, or losing hope and thrive for life (not survival, but the joys of being), or catatonically agreeing with thing’s from overwhelming grief, they immediately switch up just a little bit. They like you not hating them, they don’t like you becoming a shell of yourself.
Nancy accidentally used the term ‘middle ground’ once when talking about this, and Eddie actually flipped the coffee table over. She hadn’t meant it like that. They were all some type of exhausted, but they understood you must feel worse. I mean they really do empathise with you, they’re your soulmates so of course they love and understand you. And they realise they have each other, and right now you’re fighting that, you think you’re all alone.
They’d rather you swear at them with the same witty comebacks you’d use in a drunken fake argument, or to scare off bullies harassing them, see that fire and fight and stubbornness they fell in love with, hell that even made them feel safe, rather than you not reacting at all. They just want you to love them again. They’ll work so hard on it, because they know they would do anything. Shit, after nearly losing you and each other in the Upside Down, multiple times, having you here safe with them is more than enough for them to fight for your future together. Fight for you.
Robin hates what she’s done, or rather what she’s doing. She doesn’t want to emotionally or psychologically torture you either. Even though she’s trying to displace herself a little bit from her actions. Her mind is usually a little all over the place, but she’s making lists of what favourite foods and drinks they have of yours in house, and when something is low on stock so someone needs to pick it up soon, it all helps her feel like she’s helping you. Even if you tell her to her face you don’t feel like she is.
Robin’s really glad to have Steve as her boulder here, like he always is. To remind her that you don’t really mean it, you don’t hate her, you are just upset, and Robin- they all understand why you are. Robin likes being there for Steve too. She knows he needs her love and support just as much as she needs his, and especially when you’re not accepting their love and support at all, it’s nice for them to be able to be there for each other in this horrible period of transition right now.
Even though Nancy tries to add her own ideas to the plans they all have to make now, shes definitely vetoed from speaking a few times by the other three.
They keep apologising for her to you, but slowly, they start to bring Nancy into the room with them as well, so you can get used to her as well as the others, since they all really do wanna work this relationship out with you. So you can all be a happy family.
Yeah Nancy messed up, and not only do they understand you might not want to see her, especially after she hit you what the fuck, but they also don’t want her anywhere near you sometimes. One of the only things they want in life is to protect you, and Nancy broke that promise they silently made to you when they first fell in love. If she was anyone else, this would be majorly different, but she’s their partner and part of their family. They still love her, and they know no matter what she loves you too. They really do want everything to work out in domestic bliss between you all :’) <3
Every time Nancy’s come in your room you’ve at least utilised the others against her. Sure apparently they won’t turn her in and set you free, but your comfort is seemingly soooo important to them, to the level they’ll at least tell her to leave your room, when you beg up at them to pull at their heartstrings.
You absolutely try some psychological manipulation wherever you can, with each of them individually. In fact sometimes you’ll ask for one of them alone, when two or three of them come in. Because not only is that person honoured and feeling more protective over you in a way, more like they are the only one who can help you, but it allows you to wiggle your way into their minds and souls a lot easier; whilst also making whoever you do turn away feel like they should do more to make them be the person you go to with your needs next.
You’ll try pulling them apart from each other, tearing down any semblance of this ‘family’, or you’ll see if you can strengthen their bond but without Nancy, or anyone you think is more of a threat - you’ll try and analyse your best options of getting out of here over and over. Of course, only some of those plans include you being nice to one or a few of the others. Some don’t include them at all, or... play on the thought you might have to be not very nice to them at all. But you really don’t want to think about seriously hurting them. Not just these couple of days, or even weeks, in yet.
You’re betrayed, but you still emotionally feel like they’re your best friends. You went through all that trauma with the Upside Down and everything trying to save them, you know everything about them, and how harsh their lives have been, it hurts to view them in a light that makes them less human, or less deserving of your empathy, but just because you don’t want to seriously life threateningly injure them, not at this stage, especially when you have so many other options, doesn’t mean you won’t stop fighting to get out.
Although fighting means being smart. Sometimes it means not trying to get out right that second. But sometimes it also means making sacrifices. Sacrificing a part of yourself by doing things you’d never dream of, or hurting someone because they hurt you first. And they’ll keep doing so. They did this, they’re still doing it, you have to put you first, you have to survive.
But if anything, you really don’t want to be like them.

not rly my own hc sorry but I saw your tags abt how Nancy could be the first of the yandere fruity four to knock out the reader and like that seems pretty angsty!
Don’t be sorry at all, I loooove having these types of convos!
(Cw: yandere behaviour)
It’s all because you’re having your first big fight with the four. No one taking you out the house and calming you down. Not letting any of them convince you everyone involved is overreacting and all of you just need to take deep breaths. Not even any single one of your lovers being so on your side, and telling the other(s) to fuck off for a while, giving you someone to lean on. This time you’d had enough, you wanted to get out of this goddamn house, and you wanted to be ALONE for once!
You don’t even remember the last time you were without at least one of them. At bed time. Going out. Even in the shower, or using the bathroom, usually someone was washing with you, brushing their teeth next to you, or chatting to you from outside the door, even listening to you sing. To be honest, it was starting to drive you a little stir crazy.
Eddie and Robin are crying. Even more so because you haven’t been swayed by their sweet, genuine tears at you being upset, especially with them. And you’re still barging past Steve’s broad shoulders to just get to the front door and out of this house.
Steve’s doing all but physically pushing you back with his hands. Robin’s hands are grabbing for you pathetically from behind the others, Eddie’s crying your name and begging for you, hoping if you look at him, you’ll change your mind like you always do. And you’re still yelling with Nancy.
She’s the one who caused this argument. Nancy’s usually the most strict, and it’s one of the biggest things that causes issues with you in your relationship. She’s lovely, she’s just sort of... neurotic, when it comes to being in control. She’ll give in to your sweet smile on the little things sometimes, but even before you were with her, you always knew she was a stickler for her rules.
Eddie was good, he really balanced it out in the relationship, and he was your partner in crime for you both to expand on those rules a little, and Steve and Robin were at the lesser extreme ends of Nancy and Eddie, so when you got into this relationship, you really thought it would be all nicely balanced out. Until Nancy started acting unnecessarily pissed off, because you wanted a little freedom. Something you personally thought wasn’t ‘a personal rule of someone’s to discuss/compromise with in the relationship.’ Controlling behaviour is something you would not accept, and you determinedly put your foot down at any sign of it. It was non negotiable. You would always stick up for yourself if one of the others went too far, because red flag or even toxic behaviour, was not negotiable for you to work with. You would not be dealing with it. You guys could talk about why they felt their behaviour/rules were necessary, that was fine, but you said from the beginning, that type of behaviour, would absolutely not be a factor in any relationship you were in.
And the four loved how strong you were. How you knew what was right and what was wrong, what you deserved. How you’d stick up for yourself in the places it mattered unwaveringly.
Except when it became an issue for them to keep you ‘safe’. Nancy, especially, didn’t like the fact you seemed unable to be mani- to change your mind about certain things.
And while the other three, Steve, Eddie and Robin have tried to talk to you during this argument with Nancy, where they were on her side, that had escalated into an argument about you leaving the house for some air now, and even as they still tried to get heard words in edgeways, how they kept talking even though they knew you weren’t listening, you and Nancy were mostly taking up each other’s attention.
Screaming arguments back and forth, Nancy always looking scary when she was pissed off, but you so determined in your ways and angry at Nancy too, neither of you were losing. You just kept fighting.
Until you finally managed to bustle around Steve’s held up ‘calming’ hands, turning your back to Nancy, and your other lovers, as you finally got to the front door. Then Nancy was quiet enough, you could hear Steve’s arguments, less angry himself now, and more set to try and persuade you to just stay and calm down at home, and you can all talk things out. In fact, you hadn’t noticed, but Nancy was completely silent now. The switch since you had finally turned your back on her, deafening.
You were fumbling to grab keys from the bowl near the front door, uncaring that they were attached to Eddie’s vans keys, you were going on a walk anyway. And even though you weren’t screaming back at Steve, like you had been earlier, and with Nancy, both your voices were still raised, trying to get across your points, your voice more steady, and Steve’s getting more worrisome. You had to both be slightly loud anyway. Robin and Eddie were still begging for you through tears and snot.
And when you finally picked up Eddie’s key chain in your warm palms, that’s when everything flipped to black.
Steve nearly screamed as he caught you, falling, in his arms. Having no idea what happened other than seeing your eyes flash with something, roll back, and start collapsing.
Robin had squeaked, too quiet to hear, not even noticed by her. Eddie’s gasp had torn his vocal cords, he was that shocked.
And as Steve turned back, holding your limp body in his outstretched arms, the house keys finally falling with a thud to the wooden floor, everyone stared at Nancy, holding the baseball bat stored in the coat rack for safety in this home, staring down at you, with her curls sticking to her pink and still just as determined face.
Eddie was the one who started screaming at her first. After his initial “WHAT THE FUCK?!” And “WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO!?”, Steve caught his breath and started yelling at Nancy too. Steve hardly ever yelled at Nancy, but holding your unconscious body, a deadweight in his arms, was setting him off hard. “WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO NANCE?!” Robin only hadn’t spoken up yet because she was in shock. Everything had been so horrible, everyone was yelling, and then you were hurt, you’re still not conscious, and Nancy, her other partner, was the one to hurt you. Nancy had hurt you. After every promise Nancy had made. After the promises Robin had made to you, to keep you safe, and looked after, and stood up for, after all four of them promised you in this relationship. And now Robin was just as appalled. Mad. And scared. “NANCY WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?!”
Nancy still being so set, her eyes still determined on you, non guilty, easily setting the bat back into place, was chilling to some of the others.
Steve saw himself in Nancy then. Dreams he’d had, horrific dreams, about keeping you locked up, just so he’d know you were safe. Conversations he’d had late at night with Nancy, where he’d later felt awful about what he’d admitted... these dark feelings, felt sick, like she was going to tell on him the mornings after, only for Nancy to repeat she’d meant it.
Eddie was behind Nancy, so he couldn’t really see, but he rushed up to check on you, Robin crying for a different reason now. As Steve had to gently kneel to the floor to support your body, setting you leaning against his chest, so Eddie could smooth through your hair at the back of your skull and check for any damage. How much you, his love, were hurt. Eddie would die if you were hurt.
All three’s hearts were beating hard with chest tightening fear, about you being hurt.
Nancy’s quick plan, unfortunately on the one hand, calmed the others though. Steve picked you back up, and set you on the couch, just as Nancy ordered, feeling better seeing you, just like you were sleeping, like none of this had happened. Robin feeling better being useful, as she raids the freezer for frozen peas, wrapping them in a clean towel to place carefully under your head. Eddie whispering promises and pleas to himself and you, with each kiss to your hand he grips and speaks into softly, making his heart rate decrease just slightly with each kiss, as he sits on the floor, peering up at you with shiny dark brown eyes.
Nancy’s steady planning calming them down, wasn’t great, when it meant the others could feel calm, in a situation like this. Where one of your partners, one of them, had just hit you with a baseball bat in order to stop you from leaving.
You woke only a minute later, and everyone’s face’s turned to ones of relief and smiles, including Nancy’s, not a dry eye around, as quiet sniffles and croaks of your name, lit up the big house, alongside your groans of pain.
“G-Guys? What... what happened? How did I... why am I?”
When you turn to Nancy, her face pales with fear. You see it creeping into her eyes. “You don’t... you don’t remember?”
Convincing practiced eyes.
You look down at Eddie, who’s expression hasn’t changed from teary, still wiping at his nose with his sleeve, before nuzzling it back into your hand. Robin and Steve are with him too, Steve crouching near you, while Robin sits on the arm of the sofa, by your laid up leveraged feet. Their hands settled on your body, just like they needed to be.
Nancy comes over too, between Eddie and Steve, and she takes your free hand up in hers. “Baby what’s the last thing you remember?”
You think back, your head aching as you do, and you must have winced because everybody’s hand’s tighten on your body at once. You remembered being near the front door, still closed... with someone’s key’s in your hands, definitely. And as you watch Nancy’s face twist in confusion, you feel like you haven’t put all the pieces of the puzzle together.
“Honey you don’t remember going outside?”
You shake your head, grunting, and Steve’s hand aims for your head, but instead moves and cups your cheek, like he thought better of it, not wanting to hurt you. His bit lip and puppy eyes pleading with you not to move too hard. Begging you not to be more hurt.
Nancy continues. “You got out the door, we kept begging you to turn around, to talk to us, but when you did... you fell down the front steps. You hit your head on the ground.” Nancy bowed her head solemnly, but she managed to look back at up for your expression quickly. “You really don’t remember that?” Her fingers are so so gentle, caressing your temple. Her eyebrows scrunched in worry, stroking your head like she’s nervous there may be more you can’t remember. Other damage to your head undiscovered yet.
“No- no I don’t... I don’t remember that part... But it’s just a couple of seconds right? That’s kinda normal for being knocked out, isn’t it? Do I need to go to the hospital?”
Robin rubs your ankles from where she’s sitting, but her face is tilted up at the ceiling, away from you, you guess in her attempt to try and stop more tears from falling.
“Yeah! Yeah that’s normal, you’re okay. You’re okay baby you don’t need to be seen you’re fine. You’ll be fine okay? I promise. You’re not hurt, I promise I’ll make sure you’re okay, alright?” Nancy speaks like she’s trying so soothe her own worries by making sure you don’t feel scared, before she thumbs under your own dry cheek, the only one in sight, and you feel guilt bundle up like something dark and sick and twisty in your chest. She must blame herself for making you turn around on that step. They must all blame themselves for that stupid fight, causing all this. Those seconds, or maybe minutes, you were out... God you must’ve worried them all so badly. You know how frightened they get for you.
Even with a big sigh leaving your chest, you can’t get rid of the pain you feel, for having caused all of your lovers such pain. And for something you stupid you can barely remember. Not because of genuine memory loss, you’re thankful for, but because it seems so daft compared to all of this. Knowing how badly they must’ve worried, while you were unconscious, and how much your partners really love you. All four of them. And looking at each of their faces... God, you’re so lucky.
You ask Steve if he had to pick you up from outside and bring you back in, and with some stumbling on his words, he eventually gets out a nod with a “Wh- well, I... uh, sigh- yeah.”
Nancy’s only fretting by the couch now, so you can use your free, not taken by Eddie, hand to stroke over Steve’s strong arms, thanking him.
And you thank all your partners for being so strong. For looking after you. You wriggle your shoulders uncomfortably on the couch, your back slightly aching from this position, or you guess from falling down the few steps by Steve’s front door, and you can feel the toweled ice, already put under your head before you had to ask for it.
And all four of your lovers come to kiss your face, once they get a healing head kiss in each, them all going (reservedly for your recovery) wild with face kisses.
And since you don’t know any better, since everything is better, you’re not upset anymore, you’re very grateful for them and are so reminded of your love, plus you’re okay, you’re safe, and now they get to take care of you and play doctor and dote on your every whim???
The others are still slightly mad with Nancy. Steve was more upset then mad, although Nancy was sticking around him to give him enough love to make him feel better. Robin doesn’t know what to think, on one hand she is angry, she feels what Nancy did wasn’t right, she wants to stick with Eddie, but everyone’s a happy family again like Steve says, which is what her and him have always wanted, what they all have needed. And while at first she’d turn away from Nancy with a huff just like Steve would, not imitating him, both just the same in that reaction, and as she’d outright tell Nancy “I’m mad at you.” with her arms crossed, Nancy never retaliated against Robin for it. Never acted angry or upset with her for being mad, Nancy was being really nice to her, and so were you...
Eddie’s mad at Nancy. He’s happy you’re back, and that you’re okay, and fine, fuck it, he is happy playing doctor and caregiver and good lover taking lots of care of you, wayyy more than you actually need, like the rest of them are. But Eddie knows Nancy’s stubborn, because so is he, but about different stuff. Stubbornness knows stubbornness, and it’s part of the reason you, him and Nancy have that fuck you energy with her bullshit sometimes. He does not want her to get ideas she can do this shit if she feels like it, and he doesn’t want the others to think everything will magically be okay if she, if any of them, do stupid shit like this again. It was a fluke this time you bought Nancy’s story. He doesn’t want her belief in herself going up. Yes he’s happy you’re back. Eddie is still pissed Nancy hurt you, and he doesn’t want her, or the others, thinking they can do things like that again. He’s trying to convince Robin, and also Steve, of this too. Maybe, not to the point of hurting you, but with other frantic thoughts... just ever so slightly himself as well. Just very, very occasionally.
But time passes, the household is happy again. They all get to give you the princess treatment, and hype you up to give them every request to fulfil of yours, and you all get to be a happy family, living together contently again. And for a while, the four nearly forget all that unpleasantness, just like how you weren’t in the know. Sometimes, they even envied that you didn’t have to know, didn’t have to deal with these mixed feelings. But they were glad if anyone had to be spared of this pain, it was you. They would do anything for you.

sorry I hope you’re still wanting asks about those yan fruity 4 posts I’ve just seen them all sorry but I’m really intrigued by what’s been going on with ‘the lamps’(?) hinted at or like i don’t know if it’s something you’ve posted about earlier but what happened with the lamp after they kidnapped reader and like why they’re banned and stuff. Sorry if this is late or anything
OMG YES thank you so so much for bringing it up actually bc no I haven’t posted specifically about it yet, I really wanted to talk about this part but it felt too much to add on to the other posts!! But no no no absolutely I’m still loving talking about the yandere fruity four, and especially this specific like Nancy kidnapping au ig you could call it, absolutely do not hesitate to send me thoughts on this scenario you’re absolutely fine hahaha.
And yes, there was a specific incident that lead to the fruity four banning lamps from your room. That and water glasses, ceramic plates, bowls, vases... don’t worry, they still give you lots of flowers though :)
You thought in the first couple of days that they’d let you go. Then if not all of them, maybe some of them, eventually even just one.
But no. The four keep you locked in that room - ‘your new bedroom’, and they only seem to get more into the delusion that this will all work out well and you’ll forgive them, as time goes on.
Once your begging tactics don’t work, and you being smart and attempting an escape only leads to them feeling so much more sympathetic towards you and trying harder to be so lovey dovey, you decide to switch up tactics. Or, maybe it’s less of a decision, and more your emotions switching up as you deal with this trauma, threat, situation, whatever the hell this is.
Specifically, now you’re angry. Of course you have been pissed off, but now you’re ready to fight. You feel rageful. And you’re beginning to get so ballistic that where a few days ago you would have killed an entire town just to protect your friends, now you’re willing to do whatever you have to to either get out of here, or get them to fall out of ‘love’ with you, or at least let them know you’re serious business.
Just not... just not that, you wouldn’t go that far. Honestly? You couldn’t ever imagine doing... that.. to them, even if they have you locked up here. You don’t exactly see them the same way as before, and you never will, but they’ve saved your life so many times, and you’ve saved them. You’ve nearly fallen apart having thought one, or more of them, may have died, or are too close to danger; you can’t imagine losing them after feeling all of that, having been through that pain of waiting, no matter what they’ve done. You can’t feel that way ever again. But are you full of enough adrenaline and rage and justice to draw blood or fistfight your way through them and a whole door if needs be? Definitely.
Robin has come into your room alone one day, Eddie waiting by the door, as she comes to chat with you, check up on you.
You inform her that you can’t possibly be doing well, considering the circumstances, but Robin is pissing you off. Yet again she’s saying that you’re not getting out of here. And she even seems upset that you keep bringing it up!!
You try to have a semi normal conversation with her as you let her sit side by side on your bed- the bed. Hoping beyond hope that she’ll prove how much she loves you and at least talk to the others. You’re sure her even trying, and with you holding the same view, it might sway some votes. But Robin decides to leave you be with a sigh, standing as she turns away from you with a “Y/n that’s not gonna happen. I don’t know how many times we have to tell you, but we’ll keep doing so. Look just rest up because you haven’t been eating. And, you know, Steve’s been trying really hard to make all your favourites!”
She sounds more emotional talking about Steve’s efforts and trying to get you to understand their love, versus actually talking to you about your captivity. “Someone will come check on you again in an hour. But you know you can always ask for one of us if you wanna talk.”
Robin has her back fully turned, with Eddie opening the door and waiting for her, Steve and Nancy both meeting them in the hall too. You’re still on the other side of the bed, so no one bothers to get too close to the door, it’s not like you’re making a run for it this time from there.
But they shouldn’t have let their defences down.
Robin is still facing away from you, just a couple of feet from your open door, when suddenly a lamp is smashed into the wall and door frame in front of her, to the left of her head.
The three who watched from the hall are frozen in utter shock.
Robin stands still too. Before turning around to see you, breathing heavily, and with your arm still out from where you’d launched your bedroom lamp, right on the wall just feet away from her head, all to make your point.
Nancy and Steve quickly move forward, Nancy taking a step into your room for the first time without you screaming at her, but it’s because both of them are rushing and grabbing an arm of Robin’s each, pulling her out of the room so nothing else can happen that can escalate this further.
Robin looks utterly betrayed. Her mouth open in shock, still facing you even as her partners pull her out the room, and her eyes hurt by what you’ve just done. None of them could ever have expected this of you.
Which was weird considering the situation they’ve put you in, by acting so unexpectedly in your mind too.
Eddie looks away from you and to the ground with wide eyes, clearly also shocked and conflicted, maybe even a little ashamed, although who of you’re not sure.
But you keep your eyes fiery with rage, with your body still. Breathing hard, arm still stretched out, but apart from that you’re almost calm. Which is scarier for the others. Like you have no guilt about what you’ve just done whatsoever. Acting out violently, and threatening Robin. Who really had just come in your room, chatted with you, and not done anything wrong at all! She hadn’t even upset you today! Not until then...
They all close the door, and you can’t hear what must be a hushed conversation on the other side. But you just sit down on your bed, staring out the window. And wondering if the others would all restrain you even worse if you had thrown that lamp through there instead, to try and call for help.
Imagining all four of them all pinning you to the bed, you struggling, but your limbs with nowhere to go, their faces... their faces like in your nightmares, determined and scary. And imprisoning you even more. So that walking around in your room, which is all you can do right now, would be a luxury in comparison.
You try to get those thoughts out of your head, when you realise that after your little stunt, you’ll probably be left alone with just your mind for the next few hours.
Eddie comes in with dinner for you by the end of the evening, while Steve follows him in. You notice Robin at the end of the door, but when she catches your eye she looks away after a second, shutting it behind you three.
Eddie makes quick conversation about food and such, but you’re more focused on the way Steve’s completely avoiding looking at you, his head bent like he’s ashamed to do so. And then Eddie’s talking isn’t distracting you at all, because you notice Steve picking up the other two decorative lamps and hauling them under his arms.
When you ask him what he’s doing, even though you know full well, Steve seems shy around you almost. He’s pink in the face, and he does make a bit of eye contact, but mostly keeps his head down. They all agreed they should take the rest of the lamps out. You can tell he’s also sad about the whole you threatening Robin thing, especially since you know how much his ‘family’ is important to him.
If it takes making them unhappy to get them to understand this is not a good plan, then you don’t really care.
Nothing about what you did seems to have effected them too much at all though. And while you were getting more and more enraged at the fact your ‘ex’ friends had not only kidnapped you, but were obsessed delusional assholes, you were steaming even more at the fact they seemed to brush off your threat as if it was a little tantrum. Well, you knew they did take it seriously, but they were trying to act as if it was all okay and they love you just the same and everyone’s just moving on blah blah blah.
The day after your lamp stunt Robin came in with the other three, it was another attempt at getting you to not react so... poorly, to Nancy. And apart from a talk in the morning, and you bringing it up again at lunch, the others had tried to act normal with you. Whatever normal could possibly be with these guys.
The next day Robin came in with your meal, happily chatting away to you - after turning on the main light, considering it was dinner time and dark out. She didn’t even mention what you both knew was a little act of rebellion on your part, sitting in the dark for probably hours, because they took away your lamps. She just chatted with you and tried to hand you the new book Nancy had brought you a couple of days ago, asking if you’ve read it yet. Or if you’d like her to read it to you!
Apart from some spoken arguments on your end in the beginning, you were pretty quiet, as Robin lounged about your room, as she was free to do so in any room of her house, and tried to get you to open up again. Like you were before.
This time, as Robin turned to leave, the door shut closed, and facing your wall in the same spot she’d stood just two days before, you threw the now empty glass of water she’d given you across the room, and you smashed it into the back of her head.
It wasn’t particularly strong glass, and it half shattered the moment you threw it at Robin’s head. You knocked her out cold.
Steve heard the thump of something loud collapsing on your bedroom floor, and he ran down the hall to burst open your room. Upon finding Robin, knocked unconscious face first on the ground, and the broken cup by her side, Steve fell to his knees right by his best friend. Shock crashing through his system like frozen ice in his veins, his heart pumping wildly, as Steve scoops Robin up to his lap, watching her screw her face up and moan smally, as he pressed his hand to her cheek, Robin still remaining unconscious, if not seemingly alright apart from that.
But she was still hurt. The shock was still there. And Steve was very much aware that you, one of the loves of his life, had just hurt Robin on purpose.
“What the fuck have you done?” Steve asks stupefied. His hand on the back of her head coming back with just a small trail of blood, mixed into his best friend’s dirty blonde hair, as he looks up at you horrified. Steve is genuinely just shocked, asking you this.
Astounded and appalled by your actions. But for the first time after this, he looks at you differently. Because you watch Steve cradling Robin knocked out, and you just sit down on the edge of your bed. Nothing else in your hands. And you just look at them.
It’s the first time Steve has ever seen you differently...
But only a second later, Steve can tell there’s some upset in your eyes. You’re not looking at him as he just gawks at you, but with your head tilted down on him and Robin, he sees the shininess of wet in your eyes, a twinkle of deep deep knowledge and thought of your actions, of what led to Robin being like this. And Steve very very quickly remembers that you are just so stressed, he knows it’s not like he just never knew you, any thoughts he could have even started to think in his horror are no longer gonna sprout to his mind. He takes a second in dumb awe definitely, but Steve very quickly remembers just how hard this situation is for you, and of course in such terrible times, people act out in odd ways.
Even though this is not okay, he still understands you the same as he thinks he always has. He knows you’re not different, he knows that very clearly, and he certainly won’t let one incident effect how he thinks or feels about you. This just... none of this is right. And his focus is very much on Robin right now.
You’re crying as the four all take Robin out. They can all see and hear you, even though they’re panicked and fussing over Robin right now. For the first time no one really with you as you cry, as you sob, all just focusing on quickly checking Robin and what happened, as Steve carries her in his arms to take her downstairs. Everyone staggered at not only seeing Robin like this at home after running to Steve’s worried yells for them, but hearing you did it, and seeing you’re not even coming to her now. Your eyes full of tears and sobs aching your chest, as you watch Robin groan unconsciously, before they all take her out.
Even while Robin wakes up on the stairs downwards, just seconds after leaving your room, and as they all apply first aid while Robin is on the dining table downstairs, they can still hear your hearty cries from directly above them.
All their attention is on Robin, tears in their eyes and their touches all either medical or reassuring or loving, as they ask her questions ranging from ‘Can you tell me if this hurts? How many fingers am I holding up? Do you remember everything?’ All three genuinely upset at not only seeing Robin hurt, especially after all their trauma, and especially it happening in their home with all of them there who are supposed to protect her, but the fact you, their love, her love, did this. That you were so pent up from your situation you acted out like this.
The three all stay to console Robin, as she bawls knowing that you’d just done this to her, even as they all brace themselves from hearing your heaved and panicked wails and sobs from up above.
All five of you in agony. But this time none of them coming to try and help you.
Not one of you are even sure if them doing so would make you feel better, or worse, that night.
It was your first break, the first time you really acted not like yourself, not like anyone you ever wanted to be, but what they were turning you into.
You weren’t as destructive as that again. But it didn’t stop you from either acting out of impulsive and defensive anger, or letting them know you were serious.
Like one time with Eddie. He wasn’t one of the worst ones, if any of them could be called so, but sometimes being that meant he forgot his place. Like over a week in, when he very softly brushed his hand down your hair.
You were on his side the moment your spine finished crawling. Yelling angrily, but it was on par with Eddie’s pained yells for you to stop.
You were on top of Eddie’s side, yanking at his hair hard, pulling and scratching at locks of his shaggy mullet as you took literal tufts out furiously.
“Y/N STOP! STOP, STOP IT!!” Eddie yells, trying to push you off, but pained shrieks leaving like cries as it only means you rip more of his long waves out from his head. Eddie trying desperately to get you to stop, pushing not too hard at you because he didn’t want to and because it only made it worse.
You were screeching as you attacked at his head. Ripping Eddie’s hair out and not letting go whatsoever, even when the others were all pulling you off of him so hard it hurt. Your fingers going numb as your wrists were being squeezed, and your hands were being scratched up, as they try to unhook your claws from the knotted fistfuls of Eddie’s hair you’re grabbing onto. Arms wrapped around your body and upper arms tightly, squeezing you hard and painfully squishing you as they try pulling you away, while also soon pinning you down with their own bodies. Having to hurt you just a bit as they try and pull you off of him because you just will not let go. Eddie crying out in pain, you screaming madly, and the others all yelling your name and for you to stop loudly.
They were all acting quick and had to be uncaring about being a bit rough with you as they had to get you off of Eddie now. You were worried Steve was going to break your wrist, even though he would never want to, he was just squeezing it that hard, to the point that hand cramped so you couldn’t even untangle your fingers from Eddie’s knots if you tried. Steve’s other arm wrapped like a python around your body, as him and Robin tried leaning on top of you. All three scratching at the backs of your hands, Nancy’s especially pinching and painful. Gripping your fingers in such awkward and painful ways, as they tried to unhook you from Eddie’s head. But it still took all three of them and Eddie’s help a long time to fully free Eddie from your clutches.
By that point Steve and Robin were sitting on top of your body with their own. Crushing you. You were crying out, pained and panicked and horrified at being in a situation like this. Trying to breathe with them on top of you, made much harder by your sobs, as not only were they shadowing and crushing you, but also as you never ever wanted to be in this position with the stalkers who declared their love for you near constantly, the friends who you now were horrified by.
Eddie went straight to the floor as soon as he was free, panting and crying, looking right at you with those big fucking doe brown eyes, that you can barely see from where Steve’s torso is blocking your view as he shadows on top of you, but those fucking eyes making you wail even harder. For a completely different reason now.
Nancy goes right down to comfort Eddie. Meanwhile you’re trying desperately to get his hair out of your hands as quick as possible. The small strands you managed to get, making you feel sick to now have touching you, for a myriad of reasons. But you couldn’t get them off with Robin and Steve both lying on top of your restrained body. You could only shake your hands and not even purposely. Steve was still restraining your arms too, and now they were in a twisted position that hurt, but the four couldn’t exactly focus on that when they were concentrated on Eddie. Even if you knew you were in a similar amount of pain to what he was in, at least in some way.
They had to restrain you, if you were hurting them, if they had to, you might get a couple of bruises from attacking them, but they would never, ever hurt you apart from that. They don’t want to. And they weren’t hurting you too badly, even now, they wouldn’t do that. You were still their love but you were just acting out in dangerous ways.
Nancy hit you. She knocked you unconscious. She tied you up so much the others had all thrown up at least once from the image since. And then they’d all kidnapped you. You guess, to be fair, they don’t always respond much the other times you hurt them. They even accepted it sometimes.
Although that could occasionally infuriate you more.
Steve comes to check on you and see if you’re hurt, after they’ve all gotten a sobbing Eddie breathing again and somewhat looked over downstairs. You spit in his face. Steve still gives you first aid for your bruises and scratches, and apologies.
Sometimes when you hurt them they’ll stay there and accept it. Sometimes they just simply leave you be. And sometimes they apologise, but you know it’s not just for the recent reason that caused you to hurt them, you know they know what they’re doing to you is wrong, even if they convince themselves it’ll all be good.
Sometimes you didn’t care after one had left and you’d hurt them; you’d think you only really did so when they deserved it, even though for what they’ve done they always deserve so.
Sometimes you feel bad. That’s normally for when you’ve hurt them more than just one quick reaction.
You could slap Robin in the face, and she could look into your eyes with absolute awe and sadness, you’d stay exactly where you were, staring her down. Other times you could kick Steve in the stomach as he was on your floor for something, but the moment you meet his teary eyes, you were sobbing at him to just go, because you didn’t want him to see you cry because of this. It was usually context dependent.
Nancy once left your room with scratches all over her face. Steve was shocked and immediately grabbed Nancy’s cheeks, lightly, to look at her face in all angles, where he waited for her down the hall. Worried about Nancy because of course he is, he loves her and she’s part of his family, but also asking her what the hell happened in there?
They were light scratches, they’d fade soon. At least when you hurt them with your fingernails or something, it wasn’t like an object they could take away from you. Like the fact you now only get plastic cups. Your nails were getting bitten to hell enough anyway.
She’s tried to instinctively push your wrists away when you first started clawing at her face, trying to soothingly say “Y/n-“ but you went for her lips. Nancy leaned her head away from you, backing up, but you kept following. And she kept her hands trying to chase your arms, trying lightly to push you off of her. Getting slightly more panicked when you tried to pin her down and really go at her face, Nancy thought of democreatures pinning her and loved ones down and attacking if that happened, but you were in one of your moods where you were set on your task.
She winced and cried out quietly and tried talking to you, asking you to stop now, that she’d go okay? Hissing and whining and groaning sad you continued wildly scratching at her anywhere you could get near her face, neck and shoulders too a little, dragging them down. And also a little scared, definitely hurt, and worrying the longer it goes on. But she’s managed to hit your hands down in one swoop and back up a couple of steps, and as she knew, that pause made you finally stop. Especially with Nancy telling you she’d just leave now, okay?
Nancy hadn’t even called out for help, even though she had obviously asked and tried to get you to stop. She didn’t want any of her other partners to go talk to you either, not that they’d really ‘punish ’ you much or anything though. Nancy understood, even if she didn’t like the fact you’d do things like this now, no matter how much, she loved you, so so dearly, it would never ever change no matter what you do.
Sometimes they won’t call out to the others if you hurt them, either they think they can handle it, or mostly it’s because they feel like they deserve it. You can get it out, it’s okay, they understand how maddened you must be, and they know they’ve got a lot of making up to do to you, they’re guilty enough to let you do so anyway. Not guilty enough to convince themselves they should let you leave them or anything though. They can’t have that happen, they just couldn’t cope if that..! But even if they’re a bit emotionally hurt at those times, they’re not mad at you.
And unfortunately, they do start to become slightly less surprised by it. Even though at the same time, past the first two - three weeks, your attacks lessen. It would be an odd looking chart.
Nancy’s making graphs of you concerning different things though, it helps her keep peace of mind sometimes. And they all have big family talks about you a lot anyway, more than they even did before you joined their home, so she has all of them to show her notes to.
That scratching at her was still pretty early on after she hit you and knocked you out, Nancy can’t blame you for acting out. Even if she feels right having you here, finally having you home, Nancy felt guilty for hurting you.
The first time she tried to have a conversation with you, after they all explained you would be staying here now, you’d looked at her with such emotion in your eyes as you said “You hit me Nancy.”
Nancy could never forget that. She’d burst into tears the moment you said it, but kept her eyes right on you, her hand to her heart, as you looked at her so betrayed, so hurt, so in shock that she would ever do something like that to you.
“I’m- I’m so so sorry y/n..!” Nancy hiccuped, tears streaming down her pink cheeks as she felt genuine horror at knowing she had hit you. She loves you. She can’t believe she would ever be the type of lover to hit you. After both of you saving each other’s lives. After all the promises she made to your image. Being so sure she and the others were the right option for you, the best way to keep you safe, and loved, and comforted always, your future. She hit you hard enough to make your head bleed, and then she’d taken you away.
The others weren’t exactly comforting her at that point. But Nancy would have directed them back to you anyway, during that conversation. Nancy never wanted to hit you again.
Steve had soothingly applied first aid to the scratches you’d clawed all into Nancy’s face, and neck, trying to ask her if she was okay, emotionally they both knew he meant, but Nancy kept promising she was fine. Even though everyone in the house felt a gloom cloud over the home and all of them each time you became different and hurt someone.
They did understand. And they still loved you. Sometimes you were genuinely scared in that moment, even a little traumatised (they were horrified to think it), and they really didn’t blame you at all in those moments. Usually someone would stay with you to try and calm you down from your panic attack state about the other one going to hurt you, as someone else took them out of the room, to check they were okay.
They really did feel awful for you in those instances. No one treated you differently after them. They were even more caring in fact. Just trying to soothe you into knowing you were okay, they weren’t trying to hurt you, look at them, just look at them, in their eyes don’t look at the other, nothing is going to try and hurt you, they promise, it’s alright, no one is going to harm you here okay? You’re safe.
Steve had been that person to breathe with you once, when you’d repeatedly shoved Eddie hard to the ground, and kicked Nancy to the floor as well, not allowing either of them up as you panickedly kept pushing them down, convinced that one or both of them were about to hurt you. As soon as Robin helped them both leave and shut the door to leave the room quiet, with Steve holding your shoulders and looking into your eyes, his own sure but empathetic, and comforting as well as strong, talking you through how safe you were as you came down from your sudden panic, you’d moved forward in a rattling fearful sob and wrapped your arms around Steve.
Steve felt shame for the fact he thought you were coming to tackle him too, rather than hug him, but he’s sure it’s because he hasn’t felt you hug him since he first untied you in this room. And not leaping at him wanting his comfort in that long either. Immediately, Steve’s wrapping his arms around you, and he’s hugging you just as he’d always do before. Tight, but not too strongly, tender and soothing. He kept you close, as your fists gripped onto his waist and shirt, one of his hands stroking your hair down your head, neck, and shoulders. As he let you place your head into his shoulder, and he pressed his cheek into your head, your hair moving softly together, as he held you in his close arms.
He holds you, he just holds you, he does everything you need right now, that you’ve probably needed for a long time. His words confident and soothing, promising you all the safety in the world. Letting his soft cheek finally press against your warm one again. Actual skin on skin contact, to comfort both of you. Letting him finally be not just the hero, screw that, but your friend again, one of your best friends. Steve’s heart and body full of relief at the fact he’s able to comfort you again. And hugging and holding you lovingly, the same way he did before, nothing more, it wasn’t needed. All Steve needed and all he wanted right then in the entire world was to hug you and make you feel safe and comforted. And so, that’s exactly what he did. Exactly like he would as your friend, and he is still your friend! He would never ever stop, and he’s so so glad you’re letting him be your friend again, just like before.
For two full minutes you clung onto Steve and sobbed, needing your best friend to promise you that you were not in danger right now, as you came down from feeling like you most definitely were. And Steve relished that you were finally able to be comforted by him again, but also that you let him, that you wanted him, and that you’d been so so brave to come to him for it first. You were amazing. You were constantly proving how strong you were. And he loved you, not just like that, but in every single way.
It killed Steve just a little bit after just those two minutes, when you pulled back, and looking right down at the floor, arms wrapped around yourself instead, you quietly asked him to leave now. And that the next day, you didn’t reach out to him or the others, in any way the same. That you seemed even sadder...
But he had told the others what had happened. It at least gave them all hope. All they want is to be able to comfort you again, they just don’t want you to feel like this anymore, and especially not all alone.

(Small thoughts about Yan! Fruity four) Thinking about when another incident like the first with the Yan! Fruity four would happen again 😌 like CLEARLY that won’t be the last time for it to happen—- like what happens if Nancy deliberately pushes the reader off somewhere somewhat high after they have a disagreement in public. And without the reader even being aware of it. They can all play doctor while readers legs heal, but would Nancy even tell the truth about what happened, and even if she did, what would they do about it?
BROOOOO. I s2g I could talk about the yandere fruity four so much, thank you for contributing 💕
(Cw: yandere, physical injury)
There’s been tension between you and Nancy recently, it’s obvious to at least her. No like big arguments or anything (nothing for you and the other three to be suspicious of afterwards, type of deal, even though she wasn’t planning this) but just small things. At first Nancy wavered between being pissed off, and feeling bad because she just wanted you back in her arms, where she could apologise and baby you in her lap and have you hold her back. But recently it’s been more Nancy seeing you in the wrong.
This time you had visited Nancy at her work. Her office at the newspaper’s was a few floors up, and you’d come to bring her some lunch from a local restaurant she liked, and hang out with her during her break. Which was when an extremely annoying coworker of Nancy’s knocked on her door, and asked who the beautiful madame she had in her office was, with a big smile, and a friendly bow to you.
Suffice to say, Nancy was pissed. Yes of course you are beautiful but you aren’t available!! Nancy’s already started off in an angry mood, because of a particularly harsh dream she’d had last night (one where she woke up, knowing at least she didn’t act that angry and malevolent towards you as she had in those scenes from her sleep, and maybe you should be grateful she always keeps her cool, maybe you need to realise how hard she really tries for you). Not to mention work had been shitty, she’d even been snappy at her coworkers she usually got one with on better days.
Of course she’s been a little better since you came to surprise her at work, not only with a meal you remembered she’d liked, but just because you wanted to hang out with her! Maybe she was being a little pissy with you recently, considering you still came to spend time with her like everything was normal still in your loving relationship. But then you’d shaken off Nancy’s, admittedly heated, comments about her asshole coworker. He was flirting with you, right in front of her, and you were waving Nancy off!
Not only that, but as you both binned your lunches and Nancy was starting to walk you out her office, you were starting to argue with Nancy, just because she wouldn’t calm down because you were acting so crazy and ungrateful and stupidly ignorantly blind for not seeing he was obviously flirting with you, and you were taking his side! Over Nancy’s! Your supposed girlfriends!
Not only that, but now you’re accusing Nancy of being possessive??! Like she’s not just trying to protect you!?! Like she ALWAYS DOES!? AS IF SHE’S NOT CONSTANTLY PROTECTING YOU, WITH THE OTHERS, AND PROTECTING YOU FROM EVEN KNOWING HOW HARD SHE TRIES TO LOOK AFTER YOU, EVEN WHEN YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT’S BEST FOR YOU?!!!
And you’re saying your going to tell her other partners just how out of your boundaries she’d been lately. Like you’d been thinking about this forever! You were going to tell her partners that you didn’t like her behaviour, when you were the one who didn’t care that someone was flirting with you! Even though Nancy clearly knows your lovers better than you do, because why would they want someone flirting with you either, especially since they’re not stupid, they know how easy the things they love, you, could be taken away from them.
Or did you only not care, or even like, this guys advances because it was around Nancy? Would you have been more defensive, more confrontational, less dismissive, if you were around one of your other lovers? Maybe you loved them more than her? Maybe you just didn’t care about Nancy that much at all really. Maybe you had it twisted. Maybe you didn’t think you needed her to protect you anymore. Maybe you didn’t want her!
“Hey y/n stop walking away from me!”
STOP RUNNING AWAY FROM ME!!!!!!
You’re both on the second floor stairwell, you walking faster the more annoyed you get, like you just can’t wait to leave Nancy, while she’s chasing you, still trying to get you to just be on her side.
She pushes you when your back is turned. It was just heat of the moment, she was so angry. Even though she feels that anger still as you fall by her hands, she also feels panic, and her hands want to reach out for you, to save you, even though her body stays angrily out in push mode.
Your body rolls not sideways, but from the front, as you fall. Nancy walks down the flight of stairs slowly once you’re on ground, your scream cut off short when you hit the platform.
She checks you’re still breathing, a small kissing of her teeth as she’s glad you’re fine, and then lifts your cheek to check your head on the side where you fell, finding no blood pouring onto the floor. Another good sign. At least she doesn’t have to think too hard about her, admittedly impulsiveness, being too stupid.
Nancy shakes you, with a “y/n?” But as she looks again at the, dry, concrete floor platform at the end of the stairs, and Nancy looks back to your knocked out form on the ground, she realises this was a bad place to push you.
Nancy looks at way your body fell, and even though she still feels pissed at your response, and Nancy can tell through some introspection that she doesn’t really feel, quite, guilty over what she’s done, she is still worried about you. She doesn’t want you to be hurt. She could never dream of that for you! You’re so important to her, you’re her love, of course she’d protect you from injury. The guilt sets in a little via dread seeping into her lungs with a gulp. Not because she believes she was in the wrong still, but she didn’t mean to hurt you badly! She’d never take it that far. Not at least for this!
She should have controlled herself, she should have been the smart one, done something else to solve all this! Nancy goes to the emergency phone in the stairwell and dials 911, looking only at your passed out form and keeping her eyes sharp for any movement or groans from you. “Hello, 911, wh-“
“I need an ambulance.” Nancy gives the address straight away, the floor as well, keeping calm so no one would waste time while trying to get you the help you needed. But then when she was trying to figure out how to explain what happened, a more frantic voice started bubbling out of her. Hoping it would make the responders come quicker, make it seem like your fall was a big issue, all as Nancy explained how you’d tripped, and fallen all the way down the flight of concrete stairs.
Her frantic expressiveness leads to Nancy starting to call for help, with a louder voice now, yelling in the echoey stairway, so some people in her building come come, and she could order them to go get help as well. She doesn’t need anyone else because she’s enough to help you. Nancy doesn’t need a crowd, it won’t help you. Nancy’s the only one who should be soothing you right now, stroking your hair, calling you honey, trying to lure you awake with your musical name, comforting you... But if someone could find a doctor in the building that’d be good.
Nancy could know more about your condition then, or get you help if you need it more immediately. Obviously worries about you breaking something like your back are there, although Nancy hopes those stairs can’t have done that much. But as she strokes your arm and continually calls your name, someone, actually one of her bosses, having run to find a medical professional in the building, finally in your sleep she notices you twitch. Your hand flexing, and Nancy hopes that it’s not just an involuntary muscle spasm, or a hint of further injury, and it’s actually a sign of you being able to move.
Her managing editor comes back with someone who must be a medical professional of some kind, Nancy’s first question, after “Are they alright?!” Because they immediately skid to your side, with a neat looking backpack thrown to the floor. A crowd has also followed them, Nancy getting slightly pissed that they’re all blocking the doorway, even though the paramedics would obviously yell at them to move when they arrived. She just focused on brushing your cool cheek and listening to what this off duty emt, who was a lifestyle writers husband, had to say. Clearly a lot of lovers visiting over lunch.
With this group of people though, it at least allowed Nancy to take you as her priority. Spotting one person in the crowd, and looking them in the eyes as she beckoned them forward. Mostly because she spotted the pen in their front pocket. They even tore off their cardigan to write on their arm, no one who worked at the newspapers seemingly carrying any paper, jotting down the number of Steve’s home, and the message Nancy wanted them to call with. Telling the others what had happened, that you’d fallen down the stairs at her work and were unresponsive, and to meet her at the hospital as she’d be going in the ambulance with you.
She knows Steve’s house is a bit far from her work, so by the time the ambulance arrives, which should only be several minutes from now, you and Nancy would already be at the hospital. The others would be able to give your name at the front desk, and meet Nancy there. Who knows where the doctors would have taken you by then...
Nancy’s holding your hand the entire ambulance ride. When she’s walking there with you, still unconscious on the stretcher out the building, and some idiot who doesn’t move so they can watch the action bumps into her and nearly knocks Nancy’s hand out of yours... Nancy swears she could kill her. Next time she saw them, she swears they’re done.
She only lets you go when the paramedics tell her to, Nancy watching closely as they shine lights in your eyes, to also see if you respond. When they ask “Y/n? Can you hear us? Nancy’s here with you.” Her heart skips a beat. She hopes you’re comforted, you push more for her, knowing she’s right be your side. And she also hopes you don’t know that she pushed you.
This was another thing Nancy stupidly hadn’t thought about when she was trying to teach you a lesson. What if you knew? What if you felt her hands? What if you remembered? What if you hated her. What if you told the others? What if you told everyone?
Some doctors tell Nancy to wait outside as you’re strolled into a closed off room, neck brace covering the pretty necklace bought by all four of your lovers, a symbolic present for when you first became part of their family, that you always wore.
She didn’t want to risk being thrown out, so Nancy waited outside fretfully, but quietly, trying to walk up and down to see inside the room, with no such luck. They were taking forever with you! What did they know?
Nancy hears Eddie, Steve and Robin, long before she sees them. And not even because she was so accustomed to the sounds of their running patterns, or because of the people complaining in the hallways about people running, but because she could her your lovers calling your name terrified.
They all rush up to Nancy, pulling her into a hug, Robin squeezing her arms tight around Nancy as she sobs, while they ask where are you, and what have the doctors said, what even happened?!!
Nancy says you fell, and the others feel a mix of guilt for her, and also anger, like they would have caught you if it was them, but before they can continue the doctors are rolling you out, now attached to some iv, and they’re all reaching for the sides of your hospital bed, following you as they ask what’s going on. Their eyes wandering all over your body because you’re still not awake. Hands reaching to gently hold you, they just need to touch you, but so scared of accidentally hurting you.
The doctors and nurses walk with you and your lovers as they try to get a word in edgeways, explaining your injuries.
You hit your head in a couple of places, falling down those hard stairs. Luckily, you shouldn’t need to be placed into a medically induced coma, and there’s no signs of permanent damage, they predict you’ll be awake in a couple of hours, and will monitor your brain extremely regularly.
You were lucky only one of your legs was broken. Your left was still pretty fucked up, bruised and bashed to hell, some battered and torn muscles, a dislocated knee, sprained ankle, a two fractured toes. Even though only your right leg was broken, it was however was broken in two places, your tibia and fibula. Luckily though this meant, depending on how much your left leg hurt, you’d be able to use crutches within a week or so, if necessary. A wheelchair was more recommend for now.
Even Nancy knew the others would not be letting you get up to use your crutches to limp around. It would be the wheelchair, or being carried in someone’s arms, if you weren’t being tucked tightly into bed where they could be with you while you rest. Until doctors recommended the crutches to help with physical therapy and healing, then they’d be infighting with each other between trying to help you try as hard as you can, versus being too worried and wanting to coddle you into not straining yourself. Even as one of them, Nancy knew them so well.
You had only a sprained wrist, although it looked very beaten, all the damage was seemingly superficial, with a possible dislocated shoulder, and a deeper scrape on your forearm, from where you probably tried defending your head as you fell, this explanation plummeting sobs from three of your four lovers in the room. But again, that would heal, and a lot of your arm injuries were very minor for what they could’ve been.
A crack in your ribs however was present. Small, you’d still be able to walk soon, but another injury to add to the list. Your hips were fortunate to be undamaged, but just further up your torso was littered with deep bruises, especially discoloured around that bottom rib, the markings all over; something Steve would discover an hour later, when going to loosen your bra, because you always said it hurt if you fell asleep in it, and while trying to snifflingly ease your pain, he instead caused himself and the others more.
A small patch of scrapes littered up the very side of your cheekbone and head, just to the left of your hairline, and a nurse warned them not to be alarmed if any bruising or swelling in your face started to appear soon.
They all winced at this mention, Eddie seemingly being the only brave enough one to reach out at that point, and lightly stroke his fingers under your cheekbone, just past where those nasty scrapes were. He stayed doing so, knowing he was comforting you, even if asleep, until a nurse wanted to patch them up a bit, as they hadn’t exactly been high priority. When Eddie moved, he kissed your lips too, a loving gesture that he knew you’d feel, a promise to you he wasn’t going far at all, he was going right back to your other side and stroking your bare arm there. Eddie had just wished his kiss had worked, and awoken you from your dreadful, cursed, state, so he could really be your fairytale hero. He hoped you still thought of him as that anyway, even while like this.
At this point, it’d been a few months since the baseball bat ordeal. It had been slightly forgotten by now, at least not thought about very often. And with the shock of you being injured, with that hurried phone call from a scared stranger about you sending chill’s down Steve’s spine, Steve’s words shocking fear right into the hearts of Eddie and Robin, watching you here, hurt, unresponsive in their arms, the shock wasn’t making them think back to past events. They were all just too scared for you. Upset that you’d been so hurt, and they hadn’t been there to help you, to catch you, to be with you, to save you.
Even if you’d fallen down at home, their stairs are soft and carpeted, you have rails you can hold, you’d have been surrounded by your loves, the ones who’d always help you the most.
You were so much safer at home. This is what the always feared, but pushed aside for your happiness. You shouldn’t just risk going out into that harsh world.
When you wake up, after a few hours and lots of different doctors coming in and doing things, Eddie Steve and Robin burst into tears. Nancy’s too nervous to cry. All four come closer, swallowing you in a hug, close knit sweat and tears and cried panting breaths and sobs and whispers of your name all enveloping.
Eddie already laying in your bed with you, because he screamed if any of the other three tried to move him, and so they decided to stop, especially since he wasn’t on any wires and he wasn’t hurting you. If anything maybe he was really healing you. And he had some slight trauma with hospitals after people were hurt during the fight against Vecna, so they let him be close to you.
Eddie stayed curled up laid out by your side. Sniffling, stroking your smooth cheek, away from your scrapes, and your messy hair, his dark puppy eyes just staring at you. Breathing through his mouth, until Nancy eventually handed him a tissue. Just wanting to lay there, his hands still gently holding you, and watch you, laying right there with you, until you woke up.
Robin had been sitting in the small space on your bed on your other side, too scared of holding your hand with the iv in, but blubbering words to you faster than you’d probably be able to hear even if you were awake, her hand never leaving your less injured forearm though. Trying desperately not to sink her nails in to you too tight, and also shaking so much she was afraid she’d accidentally let go. Some of her words including swearing that she wasn’t going to let you out of her sight again. Sweeter things, like she’d be there for you. And upset rambles that she’ll never let you leave home again, and she’d rather have you chained to her than out of her reach again. Things too frenziedly mumbled, and in a tone that the others understood Robin probably didn’t even realise she was saying, or care she was so upset, but sentiments everyone was silent at because they couldn’t deny, they’d all been thinking things on other levels of those ideas themselves.
Steve wasn’t afraid to hold your hand with the pain meds injected in, he was gentle. He didn’t touch near the needle, but his thumb rubbed up and down warmly, his hand never left yours, fingers interlocked, with a reassuring hold.
He’d moved the armchair in the corner of the room right up to the bed, Robin’s feet resting on top of his legs, which kinda helped both of them, as he leant his elbows by her own thighs, staring deeply at your sleeping face with the most intent brown eyes. Blocked from the view on the opposite end, of Eddie’s dark brown eyes wetly staring at you on his own side too.
Steve held his chin up with his hands, the only reason his leg stopped bouncing in intervals was Robin’s own legs on top of his. Sometimes bringing your hand up, and holding his chin with that too, whenever he leant his head down to kiss it, tears falling and rolling onto your cool skin also. “Please baby. You gotta wake up. Come back to me y/n.” Steve would whisper occasionally to you. Just like how they’d all talk to you. Quietly, but uncaring if the others heard, because their love was private enough in this room with their family.
Although sometimes the cries of words were loud and shattering instead.
But Steve’s other phrase he repeated a lot, with those eyes kept on you each time he said it, the only words he’d have to look at you for, were “I promise.” He never elaborated. He probably wasn’t even thinking about it. But Steve had so many promises for you. Promises to be a better boyfriend. Be the man you deserve. Be your protector. Bring you back. Look after you properly. Do anything and everything for you. Steve promised all of this, if only you’d come back to him. He knew you knew what he meant though. Of course you did, your love was strong enough for that, Steve knew you understood him.
When you awake, the first thing you say is “Are you okay?” Because all you can see is the faces of the people you love most crying, red, and heartbroken. Heartbroken, but so relieved.
And God... if that being your first reaction to waking up in a hospital bed, doesn’t just prove to them that you are extraordinary. You are so perfect, you’re so kind to them, so so loving and so egregiously loved, and that you are too good for this harsh world, someone who needs to be protected from it, no matter what they’ll do anything to do that.
The second thing you ask is of course “What happened?” Waking and feeling groggy, coming out of your state of unconsciousness, too shocked and bleary, and of course pumped full of pain meds, to really feel any pain right now.
Steve asks how you feel while Nancy asks you to try and move something, over the top of each other. Steve uses the call button quickly, and as you’re getting used to the weird feeling, and the sight, of having a big chunky cast on one of your legs, you wriggle your toes on your opposite foot effortlessly.
Something you get drowned in praise for. Which you can’t deny, feels good. You’re always praised by all four of your lovers, so much so sometimes, but you could get used to being smothered in praise just for wriggling your toes. Or maybe that’s still the daze.
Having your lovers shower you in, careful, hugs and kisses, people swapping who’s holding your face and looking down at you so lovingly, all the kind wonderfully praising words down at you with genuine meaning, and most of all, watching your partners faces go from tear stricken to smiling like they’re high, full of a shoot up of relief, finally happy, pride for you, hopeful, a few tears still falling from a couple of them, but falling because their eyes crinkle as their smiles stretch so wide showing their beautiful teeth it must be hurting their lips. Laughs coming from their throats with a certain roughness from their past crying, and so many loving words surrounding you more and more, and more.
Relieved that you can move, they all saw it for themselves, and having already called the doctor, you ask again what happened.
Boy does Nancy feel relief with that question. Of course you still look groggy, not that anyone would say that of course, all four of them were cradling you in their hands and calling you beautiful. The heartfelt, starry and teary looks in the others eyes, they are being so genuine when they say that. They’re seeing you open your eyes again, looking at them, and bruised or not, you are beautiful.
But Nancy does believe you’ll be none the wiser. Which is lucky for her, again. One cynical part of Nancy’s brain does speak up then, thinking that it’s probably better that their luck run out soon, otherwise Nancy may be less apprehensive doing worse things in the future. Worse things for you. Of course Nancy would only do what’s best though. She just has to try and remember that.
And maybe remember that she’s supposed to be the more restrained one of the group. After last time as well, she definitely doesn’t want to let the others down too. And she wants to be good enough for you, she just wants you to still love her, that’s what’s good enough for Nancy.
Needless to say you’re not being left alone at that hospital. Because you woke up some time before visiting hours were over, the hospital only allowed one person to stay overnight. Steve and Nancy both tried to see if there was any leeway, but with no luck. Surprisingly Robin was the one who nearly got into a big argument with the nurse who had told them so. But luckily Steve had managed to calm her down (and grab her before she could leap at someone).
Whilst Eddie, done with begging, simply stayed nuzzling into your collar, his small tears weeping against your skin whenever he buried his face more. While the others argued he was pretty quiet, wanting to spend his time all with you, and happy with your petting and loving scritching of his head and curls back. At least he got to be with you for longer, and while the others fought.
But Steve and Nancy revealed to a shaking with adrenaline Robin that they needed to stay lowkey. And she let herself be calmed by Steve’s hug, while Nancy rubbed her shoulders, the three all turning to look at you in the now quiet of the room, and Eddie peering up at you too. Honestly you were used to having their eyes on you by this point, very used, but this was a whole other level.
Your other three lovers were actually very valiant, and all agreed Nancy should be the one to stay, before anyone could even put their name in the hat. She’s the one who watched you fall, she’s the one who had to check on you and wait with you, they all let her go first. Something Nancy bowed her head at, with a pink faced thank you. But they all knew it was an easier decision, because the three were breaking back into your room as soon as lights were out for the night.
And it was pretty easy, no one questions you when you look confident with where you’re going, and everyone who worked at the hospital was too tired to even notice them. So half an hour after saying bye, and holding Nancy’s hand and chatting about what she must’ve been thinking when you fell, you had your three loves quietly coming back into your room, and kissing your lips with slight teariness again, because they’d been panicking so at not being able to see you for those past 32 minutes.
You are even more of a princess now, than when you first agreed to go out with all of them
You’ll never have less than two people in your room, more like three, but mostly all four of them. Someone will only be gone when they’re leaving to get you breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks from your favourite places, so you don’t have to eat that yucky hospital food.
You’ll only be minus two when one of them needs to have a cry or talk to another, and they don’t want to do it in front of you. Steve, Robin, or Eddie would leave, and would usually be followed by one of the others, when caught with that obvious need to talk.
You’re brought a different bouquet of flowers handpicked individually by each one of your lovers every single day. The first time was hospital flowers, because no one wanted to leave so far when you were still so freshly hurt. The wounds of it were fresh with them as well. The McDonald’s only across the road got a lot of money that first day. But when you sweetly asked for pizza the next day at lunch, everyone scrambled to see if anywhere would deliver, or where the closest- you said you wanted Pizza Hut? Got it. Where the closest Pizza Hut was.
Presents and anything you needed, anything you wanted, anything they felt the urge to get, was brought to you. Either by them, or asking others to grab stuff, so they could stay with you. They loved knowing they had such good friends that they could genuinely rely on, in times like this too.
They felt better watching you brighten up with your visitors. Dustin came, bringing some board games and other items you might want with a key Steve gave him to their place, and a backpack full with half melted chocolate. As well as a hospital gift shop card, and you only brightened up more that Dustin completely forgot the cheap price sticker on it, but it was so endearing and gave you a good needed giggle, not that you let Dustin know what you were giggling about, and you were coddled over for grimacing in pain because it hurt your cracked rib.
Joyce and El visited, El having hand drawn a get well soon card and having picked out flowers and chocolates in the gift shop downstairs, because she’d never visited someone in a hospital before (for something not life threatening too) and she’d learnt it was something you were supposed to do. Joyce had been lovely, because she’d given you that mom hug, and you’d just held on and burst into tears at her warmth, and her scent, and her tenderness, and her hug. It was the first time you’d cried all day, you didn’t even know why you did. But you loved having Joyce there. Yes your partners brought you comfort, but Joyce had such a parental vibe, she really made you feel like everything was going to be okay, and you were looked after, and loved.
Even Hellfire club stopped by, with more sweets for you. Mike nearly getting hit in the head by Eddie and Steve and Nancy because one of the packs he handed you was already open and half eaten. He hadn’t even had those ones, it was Gareth. But with every friend visiting, and your partners, your family, always around, so encouraging, you felt so loved and taken care of.
And after a few days, with lots of final pestering questions to your doctors by your loves, you were released back home. Already having a schedule Nancy had two copies of in a folder of your medical information, of when you were to come in for physical therapy. Your injuries needed some extra work, especially your broken leg, but keeping up with your meds, having people help you with physical tasks around the house, looking after your wounds, and coming to physical therapy, you’d be back to normal in no time!
Your doctor affectionately nicknamed you ‘The Tank’ for having come out pretty okay from just a nasty accident. You were sure he’d used that name for plenty of patients, but it made you smile every time anyway. And with the reassurance from all your friends, your family, you felt strong too.
Well, strong and their princess. You could be both. They told you so!
Just because you were back from the hospital, didn’t mean you were any less delicate, and precious, and babied and worried over by them. In fact, you were sure someone would have a nervous breakdown as they transported you from the hospital, to Steve’s car, to your wheelchair to the sofa.
Steve was going to carry you to bed tonight, and then they’d all help getting you to the bathroom, to your wheelchair to go to the garden, and to be in the living room with them.
You wanted to feel like you were still part of the household team, and go to the dining room to eat, and watch tv with them at night on the sofa, and explore the garden for fresh air with them all.
And honestly, if you hadn’t phrased it like that initially, they might’ve fought harder to keep you only in your bedroom. But they couldn’t deny you after that... how could they! Of course they’d carry you everywhere around the house! They’d take you to watch the sunset glisten against Steve’s pool and sit by the flowers every single evening! Of course they’d do that, you could still interact like you were a normal part of the family, of course they’d do that for you! Anything you ask! They’d do that of course because they love you!!!
And that’s what they do. They try to keep you in bed a little in the mornings, so you’re comfortable. When everyone moved into Steve’s parents house when they weren’t really coming back to Hawkins, Steve tried to get the biggest beds for everyone’s rooms. Enough so five of you could fit, usually if you were all snuggled up to each other at night.
Everyone was pretty wary around your injuries, but having been unable to do so in the hospital, the first night home was spent with you comfortably in the middle of your own bed, and the others trying to give you space, but cuddled up as close as possible, all trying to at least have a hand on you. Sure Robin woke up with a fright because Eddie nearly kicked her off the bed, and when everyone was awake, Nancy was baking because Steve had been like a sauna all night apparently, when she was so squished to his bare back, clinging to his chest and trying to not lie on the edge. But they were happy because they got to be close with you, and you were very happy about the situation too!
Luckily by your window sill, there was a cushioned seating area, that could be used to sleep on if necessary, so that was used some nights as well. There being plenty of big comfy chairs, bean bags, and blow up mattresses around if absolutely necessary also.
You’re of course brought breakfast in bed. Steve wanted to give you healthier stuff to help you heal quicker, but he was also so upset about nearly, potentially losing you, and that you were hurt, he wanted to do everything to make you happy, anything, so he’d bring you the biggest and best breakfasts, on the mornings he went for them.
Steve and Eddie were usually the ones who lifted you, being the tallest and strongest, and no one wanting to risk dropping you when you were like this, although Robin sometimes helped them. They kept your wheelchair on whichever floor you were on, so in the mornings someone could wheel you to the bathroom. No one had wanted to leave that first morning, even when you told them you just needed to piss. Eddie and Robin stayed babbling to you on the bathroom sink, while Nancy and Steve ravaged through gift bags downstairs to find the new bubble bath you’d gotten. And then, admitting your ribs hurt, you eventually accepted Eddie and Robin’s help to haul your thighs back into your chair.
Bath time you were treated even more like a queen, constantly being asked if the temperature was okay, and have whoever was on duty asking if the bin bag tied around your leg, over your cast, was okay too, not wanting it to be too tight or hurting you. It was awkward and hurt a bit to get in the tub, they could all tell, and they hated watching you like this, but they’d stay. Of course they did. Usually multiple of them, just to chat with you, and fight over who got to wash you. Any room you were in, usually so were the other four, unless they were doing something.
They light scented candles, and someone will sing a tune, and they’ll make sure it’s all lovely. They looove just being able to help you relax, styling your hair, and taking the time to gently pick apart and brush any knots out of it. Usually someone got to work with your hair while another washed you. Technically you could probably do that part yourself, even though your arms and ribs were a bit injured, but it could hurt even a tiny bit, and they wanted to wash you, they wanted to treat you like a queen, they wanted to worship you, and they wanted to help you. So of course you wouldn’t complain. And they are sooo gentle around your injuries. Which unfortunately, there are quite a few of. One of the things they hate about bath time is seeing those bruises look worse and worse on your body. You’re still their beautiful girl, thats not changed at all, they just hate seeing you hurt.
They will insist on carrying you back to your room to get you changed, because surely it must be more comfortable to sit on your bed than the bath tub, and they chuckle each time you give a suggestive wink as you mention them carrying your naked and slippery body back to the bedroom. Oh what will they do to you now?
It makes them smile each time. Eddie and Steve will be shirtless carrying you too, at first just so their shirts didn’t get wet they’d say, but that very quickly in the next sentence devolved into a much more flirty sentiment. You loved at least being able to fawn over their bare chests, touching them, and sometimes teasing them too, even if you couldn’t do much with how fucked up you were right now.
They love dressing you up in their own clothes, and it’s not like you’re complaining, or you can easily change back. You love being able to smell them on you, and be comforted by their outfits. Sometimes they bicker over who gets to change you, only because they know they each want to put their own clothes on you. You sometimes get your own very comfy ones though, or your favourite shirts. That and the new clothes they’ve bought you, because your lovers are all compulsive shoppers when it comes to gifting you with things, you learnt way back when they first were trying to court you. It’s a good thing the shared household has a very good income, especially with what was left and still given by Steve’s parents.
They’ll carry you again down the stairs, but then you’re put in your wheelchair if not the sofa, and Robin and Nancy will argue it’s their turn to hold you (push you about) this time, although it ends up being largely shared.
“Maybe you should keep me away from stairs. You know, because of my track record of falling off them?”
Nancy gulps, freezes, but it’s not noticed by anyone, Robin and Eddie still walking besides you, transfixed on your crack of a smile, dealing with their own pounding hearts at the memory of you getting hurt, twice. But Steve smiles back in his joke with you, jostling you carefully up in his arms as he says “Yeah, that’s why I’m taking you downstairs.” The four of you chuckle, and Nancy quickly steps in place behind. It’s a good job they’re all obsessed with you.
If any of you thought at all on this, how you’d ‘fallen down stairs’ twice around her and been knocked out, the coincidence would point a glaringly obvious finger at Nancy. And she’s already got plans in place depending on who or how many of you figure that out first.
Once you’re down, and Robin’s getting chided by Nancy for doing wheelies with you in your chair, you get to decide what you all do. But they’ve all also come up with lots of fun activities themselves! So you’re not stuck bored or having to think too hard, you don’t need to strain yourself, there’s four of them here for you!
Steve and Robin nearly die when Eddie wheels you into their work one day early on. You’ve come to pick out about a weeks worth of films, and they couldn’t be happier having you visit! It makes their heart feel good, and painful things, seeing you out and about like usual, but just in a wheelchair.
They also get slightly scared not having you at home, even though you’re with them. But of course you’d ask Eddie if you two can go out and how could he refuse you! They all have a great time with you at Steve and Robin’s work, the three are just slightly more... protective. Like when people come in and start knocking over tapes because they’re clumsy, or don’t care, or a car outside is going way too fast, near the glass windows of the store. They spend some time just huddled around you in a circle, still laughing and joking around with you, and your lap stacked full of tapes.
Your great idea of a bbq was really nice, because not only did everyone have fun watching Steve in his ‘kiss the chef’ apron cooking (regularly put onto Eddie as well, which he wouldn’t complain about if he got attention, and, kisses) but you all got to spend a long afternoon outside together. It felt really good for you.
You could sit in the outside seating with everyone else, go around with Robin to smell the flowers, watch Eddie throw Nancy into the pool after she’d clearly teased him about something. And although Steve caught your pout, telling him that you wished you could go in the pool, you soon had a bucket of warm, chlorine, water, to paddle your foot not attached to a cast in, and had Eddie spraying you with a water gun he’d found to also help you ‘experience the pool’. He refused to tell Steve where he found them. Although within an hour he’d given you one as well ‘to hide’, so you could pull it out against the others at the funniest opportunity presented to you.
You’d all prepared some lovely cold food and treats in the kitchen together, before going out and eating some skilfully grilled things by your lovers, and kissing a lot of chefs, and Nancy even had her camera out to take lots of pictures together. It had been really lovely. It had felt refreshing. And it proved to you you could have fun, have normal good days, even being kinda injured right now. And your four lovers started to tear up with smiley faces, when you told them how good this day had been, as you kissed each of them with an “I love you so much.”
Anything and everything, all for you, from all of them.
Even when you can start to walk, they still like carrying you around. They encourage your attempts, and reward your efforts, even though, holy God, you feel like you’re constantly being rewarded at the moment. But they still get nervous. A toss up between wanting you to get better and improve, and being so scared you’re not ready and you’ll hurt yourself, and just wanting to do all the hard work for you.
You have to tell them having one person in front of you and one person behind you kind of impedes your ability to walk in any direction, but with people behind you and at your sides, sad they can’t hold your hands, you manage to soon be strong enough to use your crutches. Everyone’s happy your arms are feeling better, and strong too! Although they do keep the wheelchair around, just in case.
Eddie has a bet with you to keep you going strong, about when you’ll next be able to bench press him. At some point the terms of the bet switch to ‘when you’ll be able to throw Eddie against a wall’ and no one can quite trace when that happened. Robin makes a show of fawning over your ‘muscly’ biceps though, and disrespecting Steve’s ‘lack of them’.
Very soon you have the four of them individually (and together) drooling starry eyed over how they have such a strong girlfriend, who they’re so in awe of.
When you push Eddie’s face away as he kneels by the sofa arm after teasingly chattering on and on about his warrior princess girlfriend, and ‘biting into pure muscle’, he pretends to be so thrown back by your mighty hand. And then faints from how intimidated he is by your strength. And turned on. Which gets the remote thrown at his head by Robin. And Eddie fake faints again.
And then you tell Eddie he’s bullying you for faking being knocked out, when that’s basically a trauma for you! And then you get smothered in kissies by your boyfriend!
And eventually your also there girlfriend, who is trying to shove Eddie back after two full minutes of being left out, like Robin was as strong as Eddie pretended you had been.
They all have a little bet of the next time they’ll be able to sit in your lap again - with the caveat of ‘DON’T STRAIN YOURSELF TO DO SO EARLY THOUGH PLEASE MY LOVE’
They drive you to physical therapy, and you always get to go out somewhere as a treat afterwards. They all felt frozen on the spot, after your first session, where you used your crutch to go all the way to the front of the line by yourself, and began ordering your ice cream sundae, but they at least started to calm when they realised nothing bad had happened. And after some talks with each other, where they knew they would not let anything happen to you out there, when you were with all of them.
You hadn’t really noticed yet, but you kinda assumed you hadn’t been out anywhere on your own, because they were worried you wouldn’t be able to comfortably get yourself there and back home without their help. They do slightly wonder if they’ll feel any... less like this, once you’re fully healed up, and probably wanting to go out there on your own again.
...That’s a bridge they’ll cross when they come to it. For now, they loooove being able to spend all their time, taking care of their poor, sweet, lovely girlfriend.
Obviously Nancy is very smart, and I feel like as a yandere it only helps with her manipulation. So she probably wouldn’t tell the others what she did. No need for them to know right! You didn’t know, and neither did anyone else, so why would her other partners need to? There’s no proof, she made sure after the others got to you at the hospital that there hadn’t been any cameras around. So there was no evidence and she was singlehandedly protecting her family herself (by not letting her get arrested and the family being torn apart, as well as the others secrets potentially looked into more).
She knows they’d just be upset. Of course, there’s no reason for her to let that happen. They’d be angry with her, and they’d probably feel guilty and conflicted about letting you in. She doesn’t think Steve would, unless you’re begging him for a truth and Nancy hasn’t been sinking her claws (in a sweet way) into him recently. Robin would also probably be too anxious to tear the family apart, and to tell on Nancy. Nancy had had to tell Robin off, in only medium ways, once or twice, but Nancy also knew Robin was a good girl. But she was also your girl. It would be rocky.
Eddie... Nancy could still trust him, but she could see him being the most tricky out of the group. Tricky to control and predict as well.
She could see Eddie snatching you up and taking you away from her and the others, driving you away in that shitty van to lead a life with you elsewhere, just the two of you.
Eddie had grown used to being alone before they all came together, whereas Steve and Robin were terrified of it. If Eddie was scared for you, he’d steal you away in the night, and Nancy wouldn’t underestimate Eddie’s sneakiness when necessary, including taking you on your own willingness thanks to him, and she wouldn’t underestimate Eddie being content with you being his family, not having you in any harms way, being happy with you. And with only one family member to call and meet up with. Only one other person he cared about like that. Easier to cut ties with the town he wanted to leave before this relationship started.
It also meant Eddie only had his Uncle Wayne to look out for in the town he left. The only one to warn in case any of the others, his nephews ‘ex friends’, started acting weird. Only one person to set up precautions with, in case he was used to lure you and Eddie back.
It’s not like Nancy would ever hurt Mike, who was in Hellfire with Eddie. And she wouldn’t want to do anything to Dustin either, she also knew Steve would not allow that to happen, and Nancy would definitely lose Steve if she hurt Dustin. That would be the best way to get Steve to not only hate her, but fight back against Nancy. Lose Steve, and you, and probably have Eddie gain Steve... and then Robin would probably leave her and join... Not that Nancy was thinking about hurting Wayne. Or anyone, of course not. Eddie just had the most options, as well as a lot of other ticks in the category. ...Nancy just thought too much, was all.
It was just all around easier to not involve them. Besides, Nancy couldn’t deny that when attention wasn’t poured on you, she liked the extra forehead kisses and tight hugs from the others she’d gotten back when she first could have told the truth, the love for her having seen such a dreadful sight, watching you fall, being the one to call the ambulance so fretfully. Poor Nancy, she was so brave to them, so in need of some extra love. And she truly loved all of them, including you.
Nancy would do the right thing. And that was not letting her family be torn apart.

Prompt: 28) it was supposed to be a secret

Steve had ushered three of his life partners downstairs, to the basement of his family home that was well kept, it was really just another room in his house. But one where he knew you wouldn’t hear them, since after returning on his little ‘trip’, he’d peeked through your door he very quietly opened, to excitedly see you reading in your room, alone. He just as stealthily closed your door, and gathered Eddie, Nancy, and Robin, excitedly taking them downstairs to show them his heavy duffel bag, and his surefire plan.
“Steve, what’s going on? You seem pretty... pumped.” Eddie lightly threw a hand down on Steve’s shoulder, who seemed to not be struggling with the heavy bag from adrenaline, and was grinning ear to ear.
“Yeah you seem a little excited.” Robin laughed a little. But all of their smiles died when Steve spoke next. All except for Steve.
“Well do you remember that asshole, who keeps coming back to harass y/n at their work?”
The other three were not smiling now. They hated that man. If he’d touched you, even once, they...
Nancy puffed out air through her nose, crossing her arms over her chest as she leant her chin on her hand. “Yep. Why’d you seem so happy Steve?”
And then, as Eddie took in the sweaty state of his boyfriend, and the heaviness of the bag, a wave of panic hit him. “Oh Steve man what did you do?”
“No! Nothing yet!” Steve brushed him off, making a bemused face like the thought was ridiculous.
He knew he could use his life partners for back up! Whether it was personal shit. Fighting Upside Down monsters. Or defending you.
Steve lumped the big bag on the pool table below, and all three moved around him to peer inside as Steve zipped open the bag, his tongue flicking onto his upper lip tasting the sweat there.
As Steve opened the bag, a tonne of rope was the first thing they all could see. And as Steve scoured the bottom, happy with his results, he showed off numerous weapons, along with many other things that could be used to tie a man up. Snatching up a pair of metal handcuffs, and swinging them on his fingers, raising his eyebrows expectantly at the others.
They all gave him tentative stares, looking to the other three to see if they were just as uncertain. Steve seeming so manic at the moment was their biggest issue however. Nancy sidled closer, and gently lowered Steve’s hand, still holding the cuffs.
Eddie rubbed his palm gently between Steve’s shoulder blades. “Steve. Honey. You know we hate this... this bastard, just as much as you do. As y/n does!”
The girls nodded, Nancy brushing over Steve’s hand. “And you know we’re going to make sure he never gets to y/n again, we said we’d talk about this.” She peered up at him with those blue eyes, like a parent trying to get you to see the logic in something.
Steve turned to Robin with a fallen face.
“Yeah! And we’re totally not gonna let anything happen to them, I just don’t think s&m, or literal... to be honest, I don’t even know what you thought about!” Robin stuffed the rope back inside for a quick second. “I just don’t think that’s the way to go.”
Robin looked towards Eddie, after seeing Steve’s defeated look, who nodded approvingly at her, solid. Robin tried to look to Nancy too, but she was still set on Steve.
“Steve, I just think that when we discuss this we-“
“Are you guys in here?”
Everyone jumped. Like they’d been caught doing something wrong. Which, they sort of were. Their hands all fell to grip the pool table, and they stayed frozen as you made your descent down the stairs.
Your look of confusion quickly snapped to one of serious concern, looking between all your lovers, who looked like a Sheriff that wasn’t Hopper had seen their stash of weapons you all kept in places around the house, for Upside Down shit. They looked caught.
“Whaaat the hell is going on?” You asked pointedly, looking with a disapproving look to all four of your partners , because you knew they couldn’t stand that. And you were right, because their heads all sunk to the floor, in tandem.
You’re sure they wouldn’t have been doing anything wrong. Not your partners. If you knew one thing, it was that they all loved you, but you couldn’t help but feel like those four kept secrets from you. Secrets were okay, you shared one or two with one, or a few of the others. But you meant all four seemed to keep things away from you. But they never treated you any differently, so you never panicked over it. This however, was very suspicious.
But before you could think more about it, Nancy took a few steps forward. And as she bounded over to you, she held your hand. Smiling sweetly. “It was supposed to be a secret.”
Now this got your attention. Most of it on Nancy, as you blinked furiously, trying to catch up with the rest of them. “What’s a secret?” You asked her, although it was open to the room.
That’s when Steve moved, and metal clanged against the table, allowing you to catch the glimpse of silver. And your jaw dropped as you realised Steve was holding a pair of handcuffs.
What the hell..?
“It was supposed to be a secret from Eddie!” Robin quickly spoke up, gaining the whole rooms attention, most of all Eddie’s.
Eddie looked surprised, his eyebrows raised, but he only smiled at you, when he saw you looking, if not a slightly muted one.
Robin bounced on her feet, before deciding to join you, just behind Nancy, a smile on her face as she hurried to get her words out. “Yeah. Those two were going to tell you, and apparently Eddie wanted to be tied up, although-“ Robin waved her hand dismissively in the air, scrunching her nose, “I don’t wanna know about that. But Steve and Nance were supposed to tell you because you guys were supposed to surprise Eddie with them and yeah... he caught them!” Robin motioned towards the handcuffs, the ones Steve held in the air, with a smile like he really wanted to be somewhere else.
“Probably caught them because they didn’t have you on their team!” Robin finished up, lightly punching your shoulder.
You looked between all four of your lovers, and the handcuffs, stunned.
You also didn’t know why Robin and Steve seemed so sweaty.
You gingerly took a step forward. Thinking Nancy forgot to move because she stayed just as close to you, but you were keeping your furrowed eyes on your other girlfriend, as you tentatively spoke up. “Rob?”
“Yeah!” Robin sounded enthused, but under that there was probably a layer that she begged you to pick on someone else in the class.
“You know Eddie’s handcuffs in his room, the ones that are like these?”
You swore you could spot everyone’s eyes lighting up, everyone’s but Eddie’s.
“You know they’re mostly for the metal show, right? Like they’re actual handcuffs but for the aesthetic.” Eddie had told you that when you were in his room back at his trailer one time, this was before he’d moved in with Steve with the rest of you. You guess he hadn’t shared that with any of the others.
“Eds knows these aren’t the type you use for bondage. Those ones are more likely to hurt. Eddie knows that.”
Everyone was quiet. The four all looked to each other, but none of them looked at you. Not like they couldn’t bear to, but they were caught up with each other. They were keeping things from you again.
You moved a step forward in the silence, looking at Nancy who was now at hands length. Everyone held their breath, until “Is this an Upside Down thing?”
Nancy spluttered. Clearly flustered, this close up to you. “What- n-no I mean no I-“
You cupped Nancy’s cheek in your hand, and she swallowed with a whine.
Your lips twisted, eyes soft on her blue ones. “I thought we promised not to keep secrets about stuff like that.”
Nancy’s eyes started getting a little glossy, and you felt bad, but you looked out to all the others, and you knew you had to say it. You had to tell them again, you could protect yourself! You would protect them.
“I can help you.” You told them all, going back to looking down at Nancy, who hadn’t looked away from you, but they knew you were speaking to all of them. “You don’t have to protect me.” You cupped her other cheek. “I love you, I want to help you. I want to stick by your guys side.”
Nancy can’t help but kiss you. She loves you. She bounds upwards on her feet and reaches for your lips, not needing much help with you holding her face like that, and she returns the favour, dotingly. Nancy smashes her lips into yours, curving them around her own as she kisses you with deep emotion, a sudden urge to grab you and kiss you so clear. You were amazing. You were her everything, all of theirs. And she was so proud of how you constantly proved it to them. But right now, Nancy was just lost in kissing you, as she usually was.
Eventually you pulled back, Nancy’s eyes opening, and coming back for a short but sweet peck, eventually pulling away. But keeping her hands over your cheeks, just like how you were holding her. And keeping her eyes fixed on you, even as you darted between her, and the others, a hint of upset clear in your face.
“Please don’t exclude me.”
“No, never.”
“Nooo baby.”
“I’m sorry, we won’t.”
“Never honey.”
Were all chorused in your ears, and you nodded thankfully at them all. Looking down to your girlfriend again, and she somehow looked so set, and full of emotion for you. It always made you open up, in those times, without Nancy even meaning too. Even though she was a master at doing things like that.
“I feel like you four all always keep secrets from me.” You revealed. Sighing as you watched something flicker in Nancy’s eyes, and then quickly being blinked away, looking to all your other lovers who just looked sad at you.
They all apologised, all four of them, promising they’ll try not to. Nancy rearranged her hands on your face, grabbing your attention once again, as she reassured you with her sweet gentle smile. “I promise darling.”
You nod, finally giving a smile, and it’s like you could feel the tension ease in the air. Dropping your hands to Nancy’s shoulders, she followed suit, holding your waist in her hands.
“So... do I need to know? About the handcuffs?” You ask, taking a deep breath and holding it, as you wonder if you’re ever going to get an answer for today.
But eventually, Steve was the one to butt in, even though it looked like Nancy was about to speak up, with the way your hands suddenly rose on her shoulders. And Steve sidled over to you, Eddie following behind like he didn’t want to get left, as Steve gave you an eased smile. His hand reaching out over Nancy, and twirling some of your hair that bounced near your ear, his teeth shining through his grin. “No, hey, I just had a stupid idea. But it’s nothing, seriously minuscule, I promise.”
Well that made you want to know more. But you knew any answer other than the truth would do so.
The four could tell, with pursed lips and bated breaths, that you didn’t believe them. But you dropped it, sighing with an airy “Fine!”
And when all of your lovers cracked big smiles, you could never help but brace one too.
They all moved forward for a big group hug, surrounding you in the middle, and you hummed with the love, chuckling a little as you tried to hug them all back at the same time.
Eddie, whose chest lay in front of you along with Nancy, let out a sing songy “Looooove youuuuu!” And everyone laughed at that, all five of you. And you repeated it, having to yell over the others when Eddie guffawed that no one had said it back, as you cuddled with your loves.
‘Yeah’, you thought, as Nancy kissed your head fiercely, before dropping her chin on your shoulder. And sharing a look with Steve, that you couldn’t see.
‘You’d all be okay’

Hey sorry if this isn’t you but did you write a drabble about trying to break up with a yandere Steve (or f4 but I’m p sure there was Steve) and he convinces you to stay but then plans to break the readers bones the next day so they can’t leave again like they tried to last night? I’m trying to find it bc it’s driving my crazy but tumblrs search function is killing me lmao. Np if not!
i wrote something vaguely similar with the fruity four, here's the link in case that's it! ♡
