New dynamic of enemies to lovers but it’s all in their head. And I don’t mean one is convinced the other is the enemy while the other is indifferent, I mean these two are head over heels in love but CONVINCED the other person sees them as an enemy. Cue a long list of misunderstandings that we all laugh at.

Can’t sleep so here

DnD character idea, a character stated like a war forged but is actually a fire genasi who has been magically bound to the heart of the wizard who saved him. He resides inside a fire place in the stomach of the war forged. If you can get the dm to agree even get your base of operations to be powered by him. Final give that base which preferably a castle the ability to ambulate.

I think it’s obvious at this point but leave a guess if you know

If not one more hint, the character should love eating egg shells

Me: too bad you won't have the strength to move,and even if you did you'd trip over a flat surface. You wouldn't be able to call for help because youre too dumb to speak,and youre hopelessly unaware of anything outside your immediate surroundings. Even if you managed to attract the help of someone else,you'd be unable to express yourself in any meaningful way.

But hey,at least you'd live a nice long life laying there on the ground with all that HP right?

I kinda wish that "oh they don't know they are dating yet lol" was used less as a joke because while it can be funny to think about people not recognizing their obvious feelings it also shows a major issue with amatonormativity and believing certain ways people interact with each other can only be read 1 way. It shoves relationships into a box and assumes the people in their own relationship don't know any better and so can't possibly label it correctly.

"they say they are friends but obviously they just don't know they're dating yet!" Assumes that 1. Friendship is less than romance. 2. That the way these people act with each other has to be romantic and any other interpretation is wrong including the people who are interacting own interpretations of their relationship. 3. Assumes you, a third party observing the relationship you are not part of, know more and better than the people in the relationship and thus have authority to put a label on said relationship.

Do you see the problem here? Do you understand how fucked up it is to constantly be told your relationship is something it's not. Do you understand how rude it is to undermine people's own ability to properly label their own relationships. It does not matter if YOU think they are dating. If they say they are friends then they are F R I E N D S.

The thing Abt relationships is that all parties in the relationship have to agree with what it is. If one says they are dating and the other says they are not, then they are not dating and they will never be until both agree on that face. Simple as that.

- a rat that was turned into a human by a warlock. They are desperately trying to act human while trying to hunt down the warlock that did this to them

- a changeling going through an identity crisis and joined the campaign on a quest to “find their self” (they just turn into whoever they kill)

- a bard that performs with yoyos and wants to prove themself to the yoyo master so that he will teach them. Because when they asked the master for help the yoyo master did not answer. He just kept on yoing.

-an old woman that tied knives to the bottom of her walker. She keeps offering pies to her enemies and telling people to “kill them with kindness” (the pies are poisoned)

- Chad, a human who thought he was joining a frat but actually joined a cult by accident. The cult members know this and keep him around cause they actually like him

- a character that is named after your dm and acts as much like your dm as possible

- a barbarian that has been seeing a therapist for their anger issues and has a lot of knowledge about psychology and mediation

- a british druid that keeps narrating everything like a nature documentary

a detective who has a partner🔍 and a partner💕 who are friends so the three of them end up doing a lof things together and the detective refers to them as "my partners" and doesn't realise this makes everyone think they're polyamorous (they do end up polyamorous by the end of the story)

#once people start making remarks and they do realise they're apprehensive to the idea at first #(the detective that is. the partners just find it funny i think)#in a shocked and confused way #like “why would you think that! a is my best friend and b is... also my best friend. but one of them is my colleague and the other my spous #“i do not have an unprofessional relationship with my colleague! ...well i do #but a completely platonic one!“#(they do get up to a lot of hijinks together and it wouldn't be true to call them completely professional)#the detective doesn't stop calling them 'my partners' they just have a monologue about the nature of their relationship locked and loaded #it's a friends to lovers very slow burn to get to the throuple part but we do get there eventually #character concept #yes i initially imagined the detective as a man because i love men and most famous detectives unfortunately are men #however this would work very well in any gender scenario. all three of them are non-binary in different ways. all of them are women.#i think the main detective would be really fun if she was a Philomena Cunk type of character. very smart but So dumb and self-assured #really the main thing the detective needs to be is autistic

Nightheart was allowed to act out MUCH more strongly and harshly than any other warrior

Squilf herself as deputy was trying her best to help him reconnect to their family, when he was angrily pushing them all away

He interrupted his own name ceremony and was given a new one, no consequence

Was given a huge opportunity to go on a mission to get lifesaving medicine, BECAUSE of Jayfeather, Alderheart, and Squilf, his family. Didn't appreciate this.

Ran away to ShadowClan, and then came back, no consequence again because his family missed him.

Left AGAIN with a StarClan Permission Slip to help Frostpaw, came back, no consequence for vanishing. Even Sunbeam doesn't resent this.

He does get away with shit because he's a descendant of Firestar, he's part of the family that leads ThunderClan. This all would have been treated much more harshly, and he wouldn't have gotten so many opportunities, if these people WEREN'T his family.

And now he's gotten an apprentice before Shell and Honey for it!

This ISN'T "building his own legacy." It IS nepotism.

Even the next handful of cats who get apprentices-- Bayshine, his best friend who he was basically raised with and aids him constantly, just this morning lying to cover Sunbeam, AND Finchlight, sister. Molewhisker is a random senior mentor so they're not ALL completely brand new.

TERRIBLE conclusion to Nightheart's character arc, this execution has earned a fierce, flaming F + See Me After Class

#asc spoilers #MEGA disappointing because I LIKE Nightheart a lot actually!!#I STILL do. He deserved a better arc than this.#Nepotism and the POSITIVE legacy of Firestar is an interesting theme and idea!#I think it fits WC very well and my biggest complaint is that there were female characters who should have had it sooner #Or even concurrently #I LIKE impulsive young adults who make dumb and emotional descisions #But like. This is a horrible conclusion #Aughhhh
