Gajeel and Wendy

They are just so brother-and-sister-with-a-large-enough-age-gap-that-they-often-get-mistaken-as-dad-and-daughter-core its insane.

Add levy and they literally look like a little family when they go out in public . I could totally see gajeel trying to steal wendy from team natsu with the excuse that she looks like gajeel and levy’s secret lovechild. Erza of course doesn't let that happen considering that Wendy could also be her and jellas secret love child, but she doesn't say that and instead says that changing Wendy’s team would be too much paperwork, so she cannot possibly transfer to Gajeels team.( the paper work doesn’t exist everyone is too scared to call her out on it though)

I feel like Wendy already considers most of the men in the guild to be her brothers but especially gajeel and natsu because not only do they have the same magic type, but they were literally raised together. Just the idea that gajeel,natsu, and wendy have a little dragon slayer get together ( they invite laxus and occasionally he pops up) where they do dragon things like stuff their mouth full of iron, fire, and sky(?), talk about their childhood and just be a little feral as a treat for being all proper( having basic human etiquette ).

Imagine gajeel letting wendy put bows in his hair because he wants her to feel like a kid for a bit longer and its remind him of of metalicana(?) playing with his hair. Or Wendy giving gajeel a talk about how he's going to be a great dad to his and Levy’s kids because he is already such a great brother. Or gajeel seeing how he wants his kids to be when they grow up while looking at Wendy. Think about Wendy being dragged into a guild brawl and absolutely blowing through everyone and gajeel standing there all smug because that's his little sister!

Imagine the guilt Gajeel feels knowing how many times Wendy has been abandoned at her young age. How he tries to train her to be stronger. If they get their memories back, how they compare the people they are now to the kids they started off as.

Think of the Sibling angst possibilities of Gajeel not being anything, how Wendy remembers him due to his tough life in phantom. Think about how much of each other's lives they missed? The possibilities are ENDLESS.

It’s criminal that we don't get to see more of them!

🌱 Dragon Slayers: Evolution 🌱

This took a long time, but it was so fun to practice drawing full bodies (and cats 😭) for once! I actually sketched out the concept for these 3 pieces months ago— and recently decided to commit to proper drawings :D

[These pieces were for pure nostalgia, and to revisit media that was part of my artistic journey as a tween! I know the series has major flaws— the treatment of female characters, tasteless fanservice and poor relationship writing, to name a few. I despise these aspects, of course.

I want to make it clear that I drew this art to explore something that shaped my younger self's work. I don't condone Mashima's writing choices, nor did I even keep up with the later arcs of the story and the spin-off(s). Thank you for reading!]

👫 ->We both know there's some sorta passive aggressive nonsense between these two

-> Natsu wasn't immediately trusting of Gajeel, honestly. He wanted to give the guy a second chance, and by all intents and purposes, he did. But he was still pretty on edge with him for a short bit. After what he'd done to his guild mates, it was hard to forget. Of course, the whole situation with Jose was one that Natsu might not have fully understood but he knew there was something going on there at the least. When he did finally fully trust the other, he was still a little jerk to him but honestly it seemed to just be how their friendship had spawned. Similar to the relationship Natsu had with Gray but with a bit more bite to it.

-> I very very very VERY much think that the dragon slayers do hang out as a group a lot, even dragging Erik and Laxus in with them. Because Erik, Sting, and Rouge are all in different guilds and Laxus is almost always with the Thunder Legion, it does tend to mostly be Natsu, Gajeel, and Wendy. I do also HC that the three (sometimes four+ depending) will occasionally go on jobs together as a group. It's a pretty wild bunch when they do this but they almost always have a good time.

-> This is actually loosely supported by canon at the end, but the dragon slayers did eventually get their memories back after the events of the main series. And oh my god they will never let each other live down ANYTHING. They were tiny children and oh my god where they all menaces. Especially Gajeel and Natsu. Gajeel was the eldest when they were with Anna and the dragons and damn did he try to act like it. In most cases, the younger three would listen to him to some extent, though sometimes Sting and Rouge would give him a hard time. But no one, and I mean no one gave anyone (Gajeel, the dragons, Anna) as much of a hard time as Natsu. Sure, yeah, all of them are a little wild they were raised by dragons and like a singular human woman. But Natsu just is a feral little bastard and has always had some sort of weird thing with authority, even with Igneel. So whenever Gajeel tried pulling the eldest card Natsu was more than happy to eat it and spit it back out at the poor kid. Ultimate disaster younger brother vibes. However, despite their wild nature and the constant clash of personalities, the two still supported each other just the same and as well as the younger three. It could even be argued that as kids Gajeel and Natsu were pretty close. The eldest two and both the more aggressive of the bunch. Sting could also be added in on this but he was always attached to Rouge at the hip so he was only a touch calmer cause of that.

-> Gajeel and Natsu do eventually get a closer relationship pretty similar to the one they had as kids post series. Their regained memories (as well as the others) filling in holes and building up on the relationships that all of them had already respawned with one another. Gajeel and Natsu, though still butting heads here and there, become practically brothers. Gajeel pulling the eldest card again and Natsu only continuing to spit it back at him like when they were children. I do also think that, where Natsu didn't tell a lot of the guild about the END thing, he did tell Gajeel. Sitting down with him and letting out what had happened between him and Zeref and how that had left him. Gajeel is one of the very few people that not only know Natsu is END but is part of the even fewer list of people that he has confided in about the situation after the dust had settled.

Something I just noticed and really enjoy about Campaign 1 is how often their story involves becoming incredibly powerful and accomplishing so much and yet still not being able to do what's truly important to them. It's not only the gutpunch of the final episode, it's a thematic underpinning throughout the campaign.

Way back in their prestream adventures, the party was strong enough to defeat the Dread Emperor and save all the kidnapped children from Tal'Dorei—except one, a child Keyleth killed by accident, an act which haunts her through at least much of the early campaign. The party defeats the Briarwoods and reclaims Whitestone, but Ripley still escapes and 19 still misses, and the Chroma Conclave raze half the continent. Percy has great intellect and access to a powerful magical amplifier and forced out a demon through sheer force of will, but his carelessness still killed Vex and he only rolls a 6 to try to save her. The party has slain a dragon and is armed with four Vestiges of Divergence, but they couldn't save Tiberius and can't even give him the proper burial they want to. They brutally slaughter Ripley, but not before she gets the revenge she wants; she kills Percy, sending him to Orthax, and spreads guns throughout Exandria. The Conclave is slain, the whole party made it out alive, but Scanlan is forever scarred by the experience and leaves, tearing the party down as he goes. Even Vilya, prior to the campaign's beginning, was at the very end of her Aramente, likely a level 16-17 druid like Keyleth was, and still failed the trial of the Water Plane and was gone for almost 40 years.

And of course, Vox Machina became some of the most powerful people in the world, slayers of a god, legends to be immortalized for centuries...and none of their power could save their brother.

Percy points out to Bell's Hells, thirty years later, that fate isn't always kind and not everyone gets a second chance, and to me that's underscored by what we don't see. Elaina is still dead. Juniper is still dead. Percy's parents and five siblings are all still dead.

I mean, if any or all of their bodies are intact, it wouldn't even require True Resurrection to bring them back—not that Keyleth or Percy are averse to a little heresy, but hey, conserve your resources. If there are bodies, all they'd need is 7th-level Resurrection; none of those people have been dead for over a century, and if they need to find the bodies, well, Vex has Locate Object and Pike gets a Divine Intervention freebie once a week, right? Even if they did need True Resurrection, it's a heftier cost but probably not something too difficult to pay over time for one of the wealthiest families in the world.

But none of them have ever done that, nor do we get an indication that they've pursued it. Vox Machina is, probably more than any other CR party, defined by grief—how individual PCs respond to their own profound losses; how they succeed and fail to shoulder each others' burdens; and at the end of their story, how they deal with one of the most painful losses imaginable, and how they move forward and find peace in spite of it. Campaign 1 is just as much about how to deal with what you couldn't do as it is about what you now can do.

Hello good morning!!!! Can I request a ror characters x nezuko reader. The story is similar to the last episode of kny season 3😭😭😭so emotional and amazing ending. Btw, the ror characters and tanjiro saw the reader was burning under the sun, and it hurt them. But later on, they saw the reader standing alive under the sun she says " good morning, older brother and love ". The nezuko reader conquered the sun.

I’m going to do this more platonic, with sibling relationships, as I feel Nezuko is more of a little sister type instead of a romantic partner.

-You were running behind your brother, who was trying to kill a demon that had slaughtered so many, but claiming that it wasn’t him, being cowardly.

-The gods and warriors were dealing with his other body, handling the wood dragon he controlled with ease, overwhelming them from the never-ending heads, but not defeating them.

-You saw the dragon in the distance, they were trying to force it out into the sun, the one weakness to demons in Valhalla, just like on earth. Your brother saw the same thing, determination on his face, “We’ve got to take care of both of them quickly!”

-You nodded, calling out from behind your mask until white hot pain suddenly blinded you and you fell to your knees, calling out in pain.

-Tanjiro turned, seeing you were burning from the sun, his eyes widening as the sun was just now coming up. He ran to you, “Y/N!!” and wrapped his arms around you, trying to hide you from the sun, to protect you as your skin was melting, turning to ash.

-He turned, seeing the two bodies trying to get to each other, so they could fuse, both of them starting to burn now as well. Tanjiro choked in fear, not knowing what to do before he gasped as you rolled and kicked him firmly in the back, sending him flying to the demon.

-He gasped, seeing what you did as you collapsed in the grass before he heard many of the citizens of Valhalla that you both had befriended calling out your name in worry, seeing you were burning as you were a demon as well.

-Tanjiro’s eyes welled with tears, but clenched his teeth and ran for the demon, slamming his blade into the neck of the demon, fury and grief taking over, his tears nearly blinding him, before he did it, lopping the head from the shoulders, causing the cowardly demon to immediately turn to dust.

-Tanjiro collapsed to the ground, sobbing harshly, his shoulders shaking as the warriors ran to him, Ares putting a hand on his back, trying to comfort him, as he believed you were gone.

-Jack’s voice was the one that pulled him out, “Dear god…” Tanjiro slowly turned, seeing all eyes were looking at something behind him, their own eyes wide in shock.

-He turned and instantly froze, seeing you standing there, your mouthpiece falling to the ground as you looked at the group in slight confusion, looking towards the bright rising sun, but unlike before, you were completely fine, you were a demon standing in the sun.

-Tanjiro choked softly, trying to stand and almost immediately fell if it wasn’t for Loki catching him, hugging the human boy close as you and the group came closer to each other.

-Your brother’s tears rushed down his face, overwhelmed if what he had just been through, both the bad and the good, before you stunned everyone again, smiling, “Good…good morning… big brother.”

-Tanjiro held you close, breaking down in harsh sobs, crying loudly while hugging you so tightly, as if he wasn’t believing his eyes.

-Odin patted your hair gently, relief on his own face as Zeus spoke while stroking his beard, “She still has her fangs and claws, and her eyes are still like a demon, she’s still a demon, right?”

-Hades was hugging the both of you close, as technically you both worked for him, with the Demon Slayer Corps operating under him, “I’m not completely sure, but I want to say yes.”

-You lifted your hands, patting the heads of the gods and humans, Hercules had to duck his head for you to reach, a smile on your face, “Good morning…big brother!” Hercules laughed, hugging the both of you.

-Tanjiro was patched up and you went around, calling each person by their names, you were talking almost like a toddler, unable to string full sentences together, but Nikola surmised with more practice, you could learn, because technically you were a toddler, a toddler demon, if he had to put it simply.

-Kojiro held you while you were in your toddler form, little arms wrapped around his neck, as Tanjiro was taken to the infirmary…again, but you knew he was going to be okay, since he came here a lot.

AESIRA TARGARYEN is not her father’s daughter.

He may have played a part in how she wailed in her first duet but she doesn’t crave bloodlust the way he did when he slayed the masked monsters that terrorised minds and cut off men’s cocks for their crimes. She’s sure that when the gods flipped her father’s coin, it never landed, still flying in the air — he was both a slayer of men and a natural doer of sins and debauchery; a figure so loved and so stigmatised by those who weren’t likened to the deities of the Old and the New. She doesn’t have the urge to swipe the throne from underneath the court’s eyes, doesn’t have the urge to soil and taint the innocence of her younger nephews — straying them from their birthright. Though named after a fairy tale warrior children revered so much, she steers clear of anything that her father ever touched. The way of the sword and warfare circulates her twin brother’s blood. Being the best dragonrider is her little brother’s dream, never hers.

She is not her father’s daughter.

While the second prince who had nothing to inherit (but the cries of the people) wore their House with pride, she thought it was a burden to carry. She knows the gods knew on which side her coin landed but she tries hard enough to erase it. (Can she truly change her fate, though? When the whispers in between the red bricks haunt her so about how deep her parentage is?) Instead of wearing the blood red and the coal black of their colours, she chooses everything easy on the eyes; pastel demeanour and soft disposition — I am light and he is dark; I am separate from the blood running in my veins; I overcome him through thick and thin, as the novels and the sayings go — Light conquers Darkness whichever way you see it.

She is not her father’s daughter.

Why would she be if he abandoned her and her siblings as he married the next innocent thing? Why would she consider him as her father when her twin brother cried about him never loving their mother one night when they were five name days old? Why should she be his daughter when he couldn’t even look her in the eye when the day required the family to be together?

She will never be her father’s daughter.

But she is in every way her mother’s. The lies flowing from her mind are all inherited from how her beautiful, lovely, caring mother crafted them as the woman stroked her slender fingers through the waves of her hair, “He will come back to us, darling sweetling; He loves you both so much and this little one I’m carrying as well.” Because of her mother, she can lie to save millions.

However, the anger she holds for her father makes her burst all of the edges of her being. She wants to stab him with her brother’s sword, make him hurt like the way she has been hurt when he gave them his back. Scream at him until he becomes deaf with how loud her thoughts are. The more she thinks about what could have been, the more she can see the coin the gods flipped at her birth. The madness of loneliness is truly the most pitiful thing. She’s surrounded by people who claim to love her but she longs for the family in her distant nightmares — the one that lights up a hearth in the cold of the longest winters in the lands, sharing blankets on the carpeted floor; one that rings laughter and padding feet on stone floors and expansive windows; one that has a father and a mother to cherish. She wants to burn down everything with her dragon’s flames so that everyone can feel the heavy, suffocating grips preventing her heart from breathing. She wants to claw her eyes out after hearing the remark that she has that lilac shade everyone keeps saying a certain prince holds, just as she carries the last name he is so proud of.

And as she stares into the looking glass, all she can see is her father’s face.

There’s nowhere to hide from the truth.

He doesn’t want the moulded circlet of heavy stones simply because he knows he is the living embodiment of a disappointment — to his father who wistfully stares at the only piece his first wife left behind, to his mother who he stole a girlhood from, to his grandfather who had dreams bred out of greed and thirst for power, to everyone who dares glance at the king’s firstborn son with irises lined with disbelief. He doesn’t have to hear their words to know what they were thinking. This poor boy with wine for his blood and daring exhibitions for a daily schedule … is the most awaited son of The Peaceful King? The blasphemy is horrendous.

He is not the prince that was promised.

Because of how his father doted on his older sister even when the woman gave birth to two bastards and is pregnant with probably another one, he’s not the heir — Seven Hells, he’s not even the spare. A large part of him is whispering that it’s better this way. More time to inebriate and find himself in the places that he felt most comfortable with, where adventures welcome his insatiable need to discover. The thing about never being the apple of his father’s eye is that he can be free or as free as Mother and Grandfather allow him to be. It means he can marry for love (prays to the gods that he does; he can only think of one person anyway), and have spontaneous trips to the streets of King’s Landing with his closest friend — it means breathing through the littlest areas of his life. Yet a smaller (most likely better) part of himself dyes the roots of his static silver hair into the most melancholic shade of blue at the fact that it’s easy for Father to be this neglectful of his other children that don’t bear the name of his greatest delight. Everything he did, it was for Father. All of it to feel the sliver of pride he reserved in a waterfall for the loved child.

He is not the prince that was promised.

It’s seen in the way Mother looks at him. He’s convinced she doesn’t love him. Mothers are supposed to love their children, people say; but not when you’re the reason why she has to accept the heaviness of reality. Her anger manifested the more he grew up. A single misstep is all it took for her to shout his name. All of the things he did (he tried learning a different language in the dead of the night, read the books recommended to him by the Septa, practised the sword until he perfected the right grip, tasted dirt in his mouth with how much he stumbled) but it will never be enough like his entire existence isn’t enough for her. And despite wishing she could love him more, he strayed even further to not feel the harsh sting of her rings, which resulted in Mother taking back the smallest amount of love she has for him.

He will never be the prince that was promised.

The first sip of alcohol, when he was a babe, cemented his dependency on his eleventh name day. The numbness, carefreeness, and the occurrence of fading into black that it brings is absolutely freeing. He’s the god of intoxication and the patron of exhilaration. Nobody can touch him.

Except for one.

His personal Maiden, the girl who sauntered in the Red Keep clutching her baby brother close to her chest, the beauty every beholder says is the image of salvation, the hands that he doesn’t mind cupping his face — the remembered princess of the realm. She is in every gasp of air he intakes; in the corners of the halls; in the whispers at the back of his head, urging him to look at her from the corner of his eyes as if she’s the secret the castle never tells; in the thoughts plaguing him; and in the dreams that paint different kinds of smiles on his lips. She always smells like the lemon candies her brother munches on, the pastels she wears are ingrained in his core memory; the books her hands have touched are extraordinary; the scrunch on her face, when she finds something borderline revolting in her walks across the castle, is beyond adorable; and the way her face lights up as she picks the next ugly insect that she will give to his own sister stuns him in place. Fuck him to the Sevel Hells and back, he’s consumed with her. It’s amazing how because of her, he is willing to change. Why consume all the cups in all the lands, when a single glance at her, he’s already under the influence of her existence? It’s a fact he only realised upon reaching a certain age.

One look at her and he sees himself being a better man and a better competitor for the throne.

She is a constant in his life.

AEGON TARGARYEN, the second of his name, is not the prince that was promised, oh, no.

But with his AESIRA by his side, it will be through his bloodline that this promised prince will breathe their first breath.

And with all this chaos, there is you.

This is another opportunity to submit propaganda for your favorite ships. Wether you were unable to submit propaganda for them in the initial form or you spot your favorite ship who has no propaganda submitted. Ships with a strikethrough have propaganda submitted, I will continue to update this post as propaganda is submitted. NB: incest concerns family relationship : parent/children, grandparent/grandchildren, sibling/sibling, first cousin/first cousin. A clan is different, by definition it's a mix of different family lineages which see themselves as descending from the same distant ancestor (in this case Indra).
