The Sign - Ep 9

Babe's acting in this episode is simply 10/10. Everything: open grief and tiny nuances, micro-expressions. He's amazing.

I really liked the 'Tharn and the team' scene in the hospital, the support everyone showed Tharn, what they said to Phaya - everyone was very in character. I loved how Thongthai jumped on Dao on Tharn's behalf. Dao telling everyone what to do in their life, how to work, saying such cruel things to Tharn… she acts like she works for the doctor 😑

Phaya's almost dying experience made him look so pretty, just look! 😍

Phaya had another fantasy fight in The Upside Down with Vecna, saved again by Kate Bush his current ex-girlfriend.

Their "secret" mission, fighting in the club, omg, it was so embarassing 😭

I don't know how everyone in this series made it to adulthood being so stupid and not listening to others 😂 It happens all the time, they all get good advice or receive life lessons all the time and they're like, "got it" and do the EXACT opposite. They went rogue during training and it ended badly. They promised themselves they wouldn't do it again. And they do it again, only worse 🙃 Same thing with Phaya's necklace, it's been discussed so.many.times. And what does Tharn do? He takes the necklace with him. I'm not surprised that the abbot is bald, when I look at them I lose my hair too. Wasn't Chart the worst candidate ever? Or was he just pretending? I don't know. And I don't want to know.

Phaya can barely stand, he's pale and he looks like he's about to die, and yet the series decided it was the perfect moment for some love making. Ok, fine, but if they were going to kill Phaya with sex, they could have at least done an epic scene 😆 They didn't even want to do that *sigh*

This episode unfortunately continues what started a while back on The Sign. This means that PhayaTharn's content is completely going 📉📉, it's scraping the bottom. Still no high quality PhayaTharn scenes, we only get crumbs. I still find myself watching their scenes and thinking: this is such a great moment for a meanigful scene and… there's nothing. Someone please explain to me why we DIDN'T GET AN EMOTIONAL SCENE after Phaya woke up????? Why, when Phaya comes to Tharn, all we get is a short scene??? WHY WAS THARN AT THE HOUSE AT ALL?? Phaya almost died, Tharn went through a nightmare, it's begging for their scenes together that would relieve the emotions of the last few days, but fine, whatever, let's suck a dick lol I'm only speaking for myself, but I don't give a damn about police stuff, and it annoys me that there's more and more of it in the series, at the expense of PhayaTharn's scenes...

Ok so idk if you take requests for him but eddie munson as a cg is just so cute!!!! I read the one you posted and I'm in love!!!! Ok so I was thinking like it's lunch time or maybe the reader skipped a period because of stress and fighting regression, eddie decides he doesn't wanna go to a class and go the that spot where he and chrissy meet up, dun dun duuu!!!! There's the reader kinda pacing back and forth with headphones on!!! Wow,,, Jesus that was a lot lol! Anyway I just thought that it was a really cute idea!!!❤️

School sucks

Content - school work, stressed reader, light swearing, mean teachers, skipping school, regression to a very young age, crying, fluff, cuddles, dummy use, eddie being an amazing daddy,

Summary - stress is causing you too slip resulting in you skipping school, eddie finds you at the bench in the woods and takes care of you.

Authors note - I loved this request so much, I hope that I didn't make it too angsty, I obviously based it on Hawkins high so I hope I got the american class period schedule correct it's a bit different to the uk from what I've read so any Americans feel free to tell me if I need to correct anything :) hope you enjoy!♡

There were too many classes, too much work, too much noise and too many patronising teachers and bitchy students. Everything was too much and it was causing you too get hazy, period 5 had been your breaking point when your pens had run out of ink and when you asked for one you got a very passive aggressive response from your history teacher.

As soon as you heard the lunch bell had rung you were out of there. Going to your locker and pulling out your bag walking quickly down the corridors to the back exit.

Walking across the school and down the blinding white steps into the forest you stopped at the old bench that you and eddie sit at while he waits for hellfire to start and so you can watch. Placing your bag on the top of the table you unzipped your front pocket and took out your walkman and headphones. Plugging them in you pressed the play button and the soothing melody of kate bush hit your ears. Pacing back and forth you tried not to give in to your regression at least until school ended and Eddie could take care of you.

God why did it have to be now?

Eddie was bored out of his mind, he would rather be anywhere but here. This was supposed to be his year though he couldn't just leave.

But then he remembered that he was doing alright in science and that's what he had for the period he decided he had been here long enough. Grabbing his bag out of his locker he made his way to the forest because he had to wait anyway for you after school.

Surprisingly enough though once he reached the bench, you were already there.

Pacing up and down around the bench you tried every possible thing not to regress, but eventually all of your emotions caught up with you.

Sitting down on the bench you felt tears slip from your eyes, putting your head on your arms and whimpering slightly. You were very deep in little space now.

Feeling a hand on your shoulder you instantly panicked and moved so quick you could have whiplash. Realising it was your daddy you walked into his outstretched arms feeling yourself get calmer in his embrace.

"Oh little one, what's wrong" he said as he placed a finger on your chin gently making you look up at him. You knew what you wanted to say, the words just weren't coming out. Whining into his jacket you felt a hand rest gently on your head "feeling tiny huh?" He asked in a whisper. Nodding against him you felt him reach into his back pocket "well it's a good things daddy's always prepared" feeling a dummy being gently eased into your mouth you felt yourself relax into him even more.

"Cmon little one, daddy's gonna take you home" he said scooping you up into his arms and rocking you slightly slinging your bag over his shoulder and walking though the woods again.

Waking up in your room you realised that you were wrapped in warm fluffy blankets, you had your black bunny rabbit next to you and your daddy had his front pressed to yours.

"Hello sleepyhead, how are you feeling precious" he said rubbing his thumb over your cheek, "I'm ok Dada" you said. He knew you were still very small since you only called him Dada when you were feeling younger. "Ok sweetheart, I want you to make Dada a promise. If your ever feeling small like that again I want you to come to me immediately, even if I'm doing an exam ok? I don't want you going through that alone." He said seriously "ok Dada, I pwomise" you said suddenly feeling a bit shy trying to hind under the blankets "no hiding pretty angel, it's ok your safe" he chuckled gazing at you with loving eyes.

After a while of just laying there talking about small things that seemed very big to you you let out a big yawn still tired from the days events "go to sleep sweetheart, Dada will be here when you wake up" he said sliding your dummy back in your mouth and adjusting the blankets around you. Stretching his arms out over your lower back he began to pat it softly lulling you into dreamland.

Yeah school sucks, but at least daddy will always be there for you.

I’m sorry for not telling you sooner. I just didn’t know how. I’m sorry I kept pulling away.

And before you start, don’t blame yourself. This isn’t your fault, and you couldn’t have stopped this. Vecna is just an asshole, and I was a bad girlfriend. A bad friend, too. Friends don’t lie, or whatever, but I did. I said I was fine and I wasn’t. I’m sorry for being a bad friend.

I heard about the game, by the way. I listened to it on the radio. I can’t believe your Hawkins High’s star player now.

I should’ve been there.

This is about to get really sappy and gross, and if you tell anyone I swear to god I will haunt your ass, Sinclair.

I’m glad I came to Hawkins. Sure, every six months there’s a world ending threat and now one of them is directly attacking me, but, I’m still glad I met you guys. Hawkins was new and scary, not just because of the monsters.

You asked me, about two years ago, in the back of the Palace Arcade, “Do you accept the risk?” Do you remember that? Back then I thought that it was just a story, that you were just really, really into the nerd shit that you and your friends had created and just wanted me to play along. I hadn’t realized it was a serious thing until the junkyard. Until I saw the monsters for real. Then I understood.

I’m glad I accepted the risk. I’m glad I got to meet you and the rest of the Party and become part of your weird little friend group. I don’t regret it. Even if it seems like I should, especially right now, especially with what happened in the summer. But I don’t. I don’t think I would change anything about how we met. I would still accept the risk.

I do want to make him pay, though. The shit head behind all of this. He’s been doing this shit the whole time, the Mind Flayer, the Spider Monster, and now all of this. You have to swear to me, Lucas. You’ll make him pay. You and the Party and Steve, Nancy, and Robin. Shit, El too. She probably already knows that something is up even if she doesn’t have her powers. You all have to make him pay. Not just for me, either. Everybody who’s been affected by this. Will, Nancy’s friend, all of those people last summer, Chrissy, Fred, everyone.

This letter is the hardest one, besides the one I wrote for my mom, and I’m glad you’re all asleep right now so you can’t see me crying like a baby trying to write this. Don’t laugh at me. I’m really gonna miss you guys. Our movie nights, or sneaking into the movie theater and the drive in or walking downtown and just talking or planning our Halloween costumes together. (You have to go as the Green Lantern this year. Especially if I don’t make it out of this. I don’t give a shit what Mike plans.)

I’ll miss you most, Lucas. You are such a good person, you’re so kind. You were there for me and wanted to be there for me when I didn’t want to be around people at all. I know it’s cliché to say, but you’ve got a heart of gold, Lucas. You have never given up on me. And I know that if you’re reading this it means the worst has happened, but I’d like to think you didn’t give up on me then, either. That you were there until my final moments.

Harwin's haters are going to hate me but it made me think of him and Reader. Of course she hates him for what he did to her and she doesn't plan to forgive him, but God, they have a lot of history and when he helps her with the children and sees how he takes care of them even though they aren't his, it's easy to get confused. I don't know if it makes sense but I also thought Daemon, Reader and him also have history so even though he has his idiotic moments she can't really hate him. Part 1 - Bronze Saints Protagonists

Pegasus Seiya

Bisexual — with a preference for men

Gender Fluid (She/He/They) — wears a mask that flows towards the feminine

He has ADD, and, of the group, he is the one least impacted by PTSD

Currently, he gets along well with Shaina — She was the one who gave him the mask

Play Pokemon with Shun — He loves video games

He's had PTSD since his mother's death — it got worse after the battles, but the other Bronzes and Saori are helping him

He has had several jobs (he was fired from them all) — including: hairdresser, bartender, night dancer (funny story), secretary and pharmacist

He once tried to shave Shiryu's hair when he was working as a hairdresser

He played cupid for Seiya and Ikki — seriously, he was the one who organized their first date

He has a photograph of Camus and Isaak on the wall of the Aquarius Temple — he's not completely over it, but he's gotten used to the pain

Dragon Shiryu

Pansexual — no preferences

Cis Man (he/they)

He's still blind, but it doesn't even affect him anymore

He is self-functioning autistic and has PTSD — He has hyperfocus on superhero comics

He sews A LOT — It helps him control some crises

Shunrei (and sometimes Seiya) braids his hair — Shiryu looks beautiful

He is of Chinese descent and his mother language is Mandarin — Unlike some people, he speaks Japanese and Greek very well

He helped Hyoga get several of his many jobs — Hyoga only became a pharmacist with Shiryu's help

Seiya, Shun and him went to a Kate Bush concert

He's Saori's right-hand man — He can use Excalibur because of this (it's just one of the reasons)

He gives great advice — especially to Ikki

He and Shunrei are almost married — they lived together (until he went to the Libra Temple) and have two children

He has some very strange dreams about Shura — and it's just about Shura, not Dohko or Deathmask, just Shura

Genbu calls him "Rapunzel" — in the original story Rapunzel's prince becomes blind lol

Phoenix Ikki

Bisexual — with a preference in men

Demi boy (he/she/they)

has hallucinations because of PTSD — sometimes has violent reactions

He paints a lot — Saori taught him

He dates Seiya — and doesn't understand why no one notices, why the two never let go of each other and he stays more at the Sagittarius Temple than at Leo's

He wears makeup and a skirt when no one is looking — only Shun and Seiya know and they even do his makeup

He asks Shiryu for a lot of advice — Ikki is very insecure when making decisions

He likes birds — he draws birds and gives the drawings to Seiya

He gets along very well with Kanon, the two have many tastes in common — they like the same films, series and video games

He listens to Shakira — loves Estoy Aquí

He still doesn't know that it was Hyoga who organized his dates with Seiya

i know these songs werent exactly written for this but i cant get it out of my head so heres some extra songs from Kate Bush's Hounds of Love, but examined through the lens of A Book of Dreams by Peter Reich (a book i have.. become kind of obsessed with)

So obviously Cloudbusting was the song that was based on that book, and if you love that song as much as I do, I highly recommend reading the book. It makes the song hit even harder. It has also made me cry a few times lol. But heres a few more songs that I now kinda associate with the book.

Running Up That Hill- The scene where Peter is in the lab, and the FDA comes up and insist to talk to his father. He says they have to make an appointment, and he tries his best to reason with them, but it doesn't work. They drive up to the observatory.

He runs as fast as he can. As fast as those little legs can take him. He is, quite literally, running up that hill. He's desperate. He's terrified.

Aside from the obvious imagery, the "it's you and me" line is one shared by both songs, which I think is fun and interesting and helps tie them together.

Hounds of Love- Towards the end of the book, Peter is an adult and sits in a room with a girl. She tells him he hardly even knows him. He says he's the son of Wilhelm Reich. Something that's been so important to his identity, and he only just realized it. Something that's more important to him than anyone else in the world.

He felt lost. He ran away from meaningful connections because they scared him. Shallow relationships and one night stands were easier.

If you don't know the song, the whole theme is surrounding the feeling of being hunted down by love. It stalks you like prey, catching you off guard. It can be terrifying. To the point of running away from it completely.

The Big Sky- This one is more of a stretch, even to me lol, but I feel like there's something there. Between the cloud imagery, and the near obsession with them, it just reminds me of the book.

The line "you never understood me, you never really tried" really just.. makes me think of that one scene where Peter is in the theater watching The Fly. He feels as if no one understands. No one will understand. People could walk away from that theater, never thinking twice about it. To them it was just a movie. But to him? It was real. It felt so real. And he was surrounded by people who just didn't seem to 'get it'.

I don't have any associations with Mother Stands for Comfort (with this book at least) or the Ninth Wave section, so I will be stopping here :3

SPOILERS FOR S4 EPISODES 4 AND 5

Requested: Yes - @goingdelux18 (I know I said it would take a couple days but I got inspired and now we're here lol)

Word Count: 1,184

Summery: The night after Max escapes Vecna, she opens up to Steve, telling him the things she's been scared to tell anyone. If she can trust anyone, it's her big brother. And he is more than happy to be that brother for her. She's a pretty cool little sister to have.

Max was curled up in one corner of the couch in Mike's basement, surrounded by Lucas, Dustin, Robin, Nancy, and Steve who was currently the only other person awake, watching over her. …Steve did that a lot. Watched over her.

He was sitting on the floor in front of the couch, flipping through a dungeons and dragons book that had been laying around the basement. It couldn't hurt to get at least a little bit of an idea of what these kids were always talking about.

After a while of sitting in silence, listening to Kate Bush until her tape ended and she had to rewind it, she lowered her headphones and tapped Steve's shoulder. He turned and looked up at her, giving her a smile, "Hey. You holding up okay?"

"Well… I haven't seen him so… yeah, I guess okay enough."

He nods and glances at the empty spot on the couch next to her, "...You okay if I sit?"

"Yeah, sure." She tried not to show how relieved she was to have him sitting next to her. Protecting her. Being the real bother she wanted and needed.

He put the book down and sat next to her, pulling her to his side, starting a little awkwardly, "...You know, you can talk to me. If you want. You don't have to but I'm not gonna judge you. For anything."

"...I-I know… But you're always so worried and I didn't wanna make you worry more."

"Hey, I was born full of anxiety. I'm gonna be worried whether you tell me stuff or not."

She laughed a little, leaning into his side, "...You didn't read the letter, did you…?"

"No. And I knew I wasn't going to have to because I'm not letting anything happen to you. Any of you."

"You can't know that."

"Yeah, actually, I can. I'll do whatever I have to, to protect you shitheads. And that means you're gonna be fine."

"...Just… hold onto it, just in case, okay?"

"I'll keep it. But I'm never going to have to open it. And you've gotta believe that, too, Max."

She nodded and was quiet for a while before she swallowed hard, tears in her eyes as she buried her face in Steve's shoulder. "...Vecna… said something."

"Yeah?"

"...That… a part of me was… is… relieved that Billy died."

"Well, yeah, of course you are."

She sat up to look at him, surprise in her teary eyes.

"Hey, I told you I'm not gonna judge," he said with a small smile, "And… listen, he wasn't good to you. You deserved better, Max. And that doesn't mean you can't be sad about it, because somewhere in there you did care about him a little. But it's okay that you're glad you don't have to deal with all of that anymore. It's normal to be relieved when you're not being hurt."

"...How do you know exactly what I'm feeling?"

"Well, my dad's not dead, but sometimes I wish he was. But I also love him sometimes. I don't want to, I don't know why I do, but I do. I get sad when he and my mom are gone all the time sometimes, but I'm also so fucking relieved he's not there. I think it'd be the same if he died."

"...I knew you got it. I always could tell that you got it. Is that why you're so nice to me?"

"I'd still be nice to you if my dad wasn't a piece of shit, Max. …But I guess it helps me understand some of what you deal with. More than the others can."

She nodded a little, snuggling into his side again as he held her protectively. Like a big brother should. "...Sorry."

"Don't be. If it means I can help you more, then I'm glad I dealt with it."

"Really?"

"Yeah. And someday I promise, you're gonna be glad too, because you'll be able to help somebody else through it. It's hard to not become like them when they beat you down so much, and a little help makes a difference. I'm always here to help you, okay?"

Max nodded and Steve could feel a little wet spot forming on the shoulder of his shirt. Which only made him hold her closer.

They sat like that for a while before Steve softly spoke up again, "...Hey Max… what was in the letter?"

"...Stuff I thought you should know."

"...Can I know it now?"

"...Just… stuff about… how you're the brother I needed. And wanted. And I'm really glad you help us and take care of us. …And how if you died first I was gonna take the bat."

"Oh shit, does this mean I have to write up a will and put that the bat goes to you?"

"Shut up, you're not allowed to die."

He laughed slightly, "Neither are you."

"Deal."

"...You know you're all like my siblings, right? And you and Dustin especially. I never had siblings growing up. I'm glad I do now."

"Yeah?"

"Yeah."

"...Thanks, Steve."

"Nothing to thank me for. I just saw a bunch of shitheads who needed help and picked up a bat."

She laughed a little, "I'm glad."

"Me too."

They were quiet for a while again, just feeling the comfort provided by each other, before Max spoke up again. "...I keep thinking… maybe if I saved him… we could've been like… actual brother and sister. Like us. Not… hating each other. Maybe he would've started being nice to me… Is that crazy?"

"No. It's not crazy. And I can't tell you what would've happened if he hadn't died, but I can tell you, it wasn't your fault. That thing was going for him… it was gonna get him, Max. If you'd gotten in the way, it would've gotten you, too."

"...I know. And… honestly? He probably wouldn't have changed. He didn't change when I threatened him with the bat, so I don't know why that would've made him change. …I just… can't help it. Yknow?"

"Yeah. I know. And whatever you're feeling, it's okay. It's okay if one minute you miss him and the next you're happy he's gone. You're okay, Max. It's all okay."

"...I'm not going crazy?"

"Not even close. Even if it feels like that sometimes. You're not. I promise. And we're all here for you, everybody here is a lifeline for you. Okay? Us and Kate Bush."

She smiled slightly and nodded, "Okay."

"Now how about we listen to that song, huh? It sounds pretty cool, and it literally saved your life, so…"

Max nodded and turned her Walkman up as loud as it would go before playing the song, while Steve rested his head against hers, both to hear the song better and to comfort her.

Between the music and using him as a pillow, Max did eventually fall asleep on his shoulder for a while. Glad that she had a big brother who did really care for her, and wanted to protect her. Despite everything… she felt lucky to have that. To have this whole little family.

they have their own secret little code to talk about the guys!! like all of them have nicknames so that way they can gossip about them without them knowing. they're always so confused but never really ask because they think it's just "girl stuff"

they go on double dates with byler. i know. they told me. they go on picnics and watch movies and just love to spend time together <3 max and mike actually start getting along because of that

it's funny because at first they don't tell hopper they're dating because they want to be able to have sleepovers together <33 ofc hopper then finds out somehow and makes them leave the door open 3 inches

max helps el with homework because she still struggles with some stuff!!

jonathan taught el how to use a polaroid, so now she and max have a lot of pictures together!! el's room is full of them and max has a little corner in her room too

they bought together a notebook where they write letters to each other everyday!! they also use it as an album where they put all of their pics together <3

el now goes to high school with them and she shares most of the classes with max (they always seat together) but when they don't, they always wait for each other to walk to their next class together

they often have lunch with the guys but sometimes they sneak out to eat together alone

max loves calling el "angel" (because, well... ang-el) and el calls her "love". it makes max blush every time.

the party knows, of course, and they're okay with it. but it's really funny seeing their reactions every time el and max are clingy and cheesy because they're soooo done. except lucas and will!!! they're so so happy for them!!!

when robin finds out she practically adopts the girls like- she loves them so much

max always jokes saying she stole mike's girlfriend because she knows it annoys him. although he's literally dating will.

steve is so. damn. supportive. he loves them both like crazy and he can't stop smiling whenever he sees them. like, ofc he's tired of them being in love because he wants that too!!! he's jealous!!! damn kids!!! but he genuinely is so happy for max and el <3

el makes mixtapes for max because will and jonathan told her it was a big gesture of love (byers gifting mixtapes my fav thing ever) and max literally only listens to them

I never believed i could see so much good shit and bad shit existing together in the same TV episodes untill I watched ST4 vol2.

Good shit first. (I love Eddie but I'm not Eddie. Lol

The film scoring? They absolutely ROCKED IT your honour.

The part when El chose to walk away from Brenner in the desert, with the strings coming in along with the typical synths?? EPIC. ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL.

At the end of Episode8. That song. That vibe. SLAYED. You know they're marching into a last battle with hearts ready to die.

And towards the end of episode9, that Kate Bush rescore? That got me pounding my fists on my precious desk people. The music of volume 2 was amazing.

The character arc, the growth of most of the characters (not you Mike wheeler go away), is very intriguing. I especially want to talk about El and Max. One thing I love about their character arc is that they both learned to face what they did "wrong", say farewell to those memories with a smile, and not forgive. My power sisters.

Let's talk about Max. Her monologue in the Creel House attic was so brave. Billy to her was always a bully and would always be so in memory(kind of makes me think of Zoe hating her brother Conor in DEH but that's another story). And she said it out loud and showed us it's ok to not forgive people for what they did to you. It didn't matter that Billy died kind of saving the other kids from the giant rat monster. We are not obligated to worship the "heroes" that did us wrong. It's okay to hate someone's memory in peace. Max showed us that, and I think it's beautiful.

Now about El. El's whole relationship with Dr. Brenner has been both confusing and intriguing. I never knew what to think about Brenner myself as an audience. Should he be spared? He was indeed ever so sincere in helping El find her powers and did give her good life lessons. For El, I believe it's equally confusing. I don't think she hates or loves Brenner, the man who helped her so much but kept her in hell. So in the end, she chose not to compromise and say that she understands. Because she doesn't. What Brenner did to her in general was never something a human being should experience. That moment when she said "Goodbye, Papa" was the most powerful thing in Stranger Things history. I respect the duffers for portraying that.

And I'd like to pause and talk about Steve for a moment. I think this Season Steve finally realised what he needed. And I'm exactly talking about still having a thing for Nancy, because when he was talking to her in the woods, there's just something that tells me that: though he once wished, he had overcome his feelings for her, and now sees her as someone who ignited and initiated his personal growth and he is simply grateful for it. Telling Nancy about hoping she was the one to build the family with him was the final act of relieving the burden off his shoulders. Steve can finally live as a grown young man whole and brave without a girlfriend called Nancy Wheeler, and with a bosom friend called Robin Buckley. The final part of him smiling at Robin's successful hooking up with her crush was one of the most beautiful smiles I've ever seen on this earth.

Lumax relationship in volume2? THE BEST. I feel like there's no more to be said it's just beautiful sooooo beautiful. And please let's give a hand to Caleb for being the coolest actor ok??? All those repressed agony written in every line on Lucas's face had my heart shattered to pieces. No more to he said. Shout out to Lumax. Shout out to Caleb.

And let's talk. About. Eddie. FUXK I love this character so much. And Joseph Quinn was a stunning actor. I loved all the volume 2 Eddie&Dustin moments because they showed how a freak like Eddie could be the most lovely, childish, and authentic person. As a fantasy nerd myself I totally FELL for he and Dustin's design for battle outfits and weapons. Eddie brought his love for fantasy to life. He realised himself to be just a normal person and assured us it's completely ok to not be a hero. Yet at the same time he stood his ground facing the demobats, not to imply that we still somehow had to be heroic to deserve the title of a "lovable character", but to simply come into his own - being authentic about the fantasy nerd that he is. I wasn't that hard. He made himself his own hero. He wrote himself the powerful ending of his own tale.

Now let's talk business. The bad shit.

And I'm talking about YOU MIKE WHEELER.

In conclusion, I'm mostly just confused about what the Duffer brothers are on about regarding Mike's feelings for El and Will. I literally got my hopes up for getting "the beautiful monologue" and it's just a frickin confession to El.

Was that authentic? I actually don't think so, because Mike was basically following what Will told him to do. He was good at words Oh totally and that saved El alright, but considering El got her powers back, defeated Vecna, and rescued Max from memories with her mother, her own sufferings, and her girl time with Max, and not A SINGLE memory that helped her came from Mike, it's had me questioning whether El needed Mike as much as Mike thought she did. What's more, and pray people forgive me for saying this, but i DO not see love in his eyes when he talks to El. Words we're just springing from his mouth like he recited them. No camera focus on signs of softness or quite looking-each-other-in-the-eye moments. Moreover, "Two Days Later"??? What happened to a supposedly logical tender moment about him and El reunited when El narrowly escaped Vecna's mind? If Mike Wheeler really was the straight asshole hopeless unromantic character as he is, then why, after a big beautiful confession, would the episode not show he and El's reaction? It's sus to me, and i pray it's not just the duffers falling their standards.

So all this Mike-El-Will relationship, let's turn to Will. I am disappointed about how Will Byers was still almost a side character up to the end of the season. And his feelings for Mike? I almost stopped believing. I really did I was so distressed. But all those hints. They are there and I can't ignore them.

I will not stop thinking about Will teary eyed telling Mike how El needed him. How she felt so different. Because written plainly on this boy's beautiful face are the unspoken words "And me too, Mike. Me too." Did Mike never catch that? Did he never wonder why Will was crying against the van window? Was the following focus on Jonathan's troubled face indicating nothing? I don't believe it.

I will not stop thinking about Will's broken Voice when he answered Jonathan in the back of the kitchen. He did not come out to Jonathan as we so readily expected. Fine. But what I don't understand is all the crying.

Let's face it, Will's emotions have been so unstable in these two episodes that I am shocked that I didn't see an outcome to this. The writers built it all up to such an intensity that I was sure logically something is going to happen. The truth is, nothing happened. Nothing. How can a boy be acting so fragile through two episodes of TV when no reason of any kind resolved this mystery? It's not even unfair for viewers anymore. It's unfair for Will. You wrote the play out to reveal he's on bursting point with huge obvious hidden emotion and didn't give him a chance to speak.

I don't understand. If emotions, why the waiting to be ended in nothingness? If no emotions, why the hints? It doesn't make sense either way, and I'm not being delusoonal. I'm talking logic.

Anyways, I hate and love Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 2. Over and out.

Sarah would a 100% listen to “Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)” by Kate Bush and it also in my opinion describes pretty well how Sarah probably sees Joel.

Examples:

Like you can’t tell me that Sarah didn’t had to at least once tell Joel that “No you’re a great dad I love you I know you love me I know you have to work late often I understand.” like it’s very visible that Joel blames himself for every little mistake every time he wasn’t there or was to late, we see him do that with Ellie in the show. So he very likely did and still dose the same with Sarah blame himself for every little mistake, every time he wasn’t there,every time he was late, Joel blames himself for everything and Sarah definitely had to remind him at least once that he shouldn’t blame himself.

In the show we don’t get to see much of Sarah in a character and how she thinks way like I think there is definitely way more to her that we sadly didn't get to see in the show but I think any kid with a hard working loving parent has at least once wished they could do their work for the parent so that parent can rest and Sarah was definitely that kid I mean she already takes care of him in the only way a kid can making sure he's getting vitamin (the orange juice), waking him up, reminding him of the stuff he forgets and etc.

I know Tommy was in the picture and was definitely always there for both Sarah and Joel but I think Sarah and Joel and Sarah and Tommy had different relationships even tho from what is shown in the show Sarah had a similar relationship with both Tommy and Joel, the daughter and father relationship that Sarah and Joel had was very deep, they both loved each other, took care of each other, they had their own little bubble of life that no one could disturb and if Tommy wasn't in the picture it would've been them against the world (it was but + Tommy).

as a leading expert in your field (loving kate bush) do you have a personal ranking/top selection of her albums? i haven’t listened to all of them yet and i’m debating about which to listen to next lol <3

hounds of love is a general crowd favorite but my PERSONAL favorite is the kick inside! the dreaming is a good listen too bc it was the first album she produced herself and you can tell she had a ton of fun making it/experimenting with the sound. also the sensual world 😵‍💫

augh before i just list every single one: honestly there isn't an album of hers i don't like! that being said, i wouldn't start with director's cut (an album of rerecorded/reworked old songs. it's very cool, but definitely more interesting to listen to after knowing the originals)
