Part 2

Many people were taken aback when Mr. Aizawa revealed that someone in the class had a Plant quirk. They all looked around, expecting someone with green vines for hair like Shiozaki. But to their surprise, it was you. You didn't fit their expectations at all. With your H/C hair and reserved demeanor, you didn't act like the typical plant-based quirk user. You were more focused on your studies and hero work, not caring about what others thought.

Some might assume that your introverted nature was a result of your parents' lack of affection. However, that couldn't be further from the truth. Your parents were incredibly loving and affectionate, always coming to your room to hug you and share stories about their day. They acted exactly how parents should, and you loved them dearly. But as you grew older, you developed your own opinions and preferences. You didn't want to be touched or show affection to others. Thankfully, your parents understood and respected your boundaries.

Instead of physical affection, you expressed your love by surrounding their house with beautiful plants. You created a lovely garden in the back where they enjoyed their breakfast, and filled the living room with vibrant greenery. Your earthy and down-to-earth touch mirrored their own personalities, and they adored that about you. Your mother, who also had a plant-based quirk, encouraged this as a way for you to show your love. Sometimes, in return for their understanding, you would give them a heartfelt hug.

You couldn't help but fall for Sero, even though you never spoke to anyone in class. Your quietness allowed you to observe him closely, noticing his kindness, his great friendships, and his outgoing nature - all of which caught your eye. However, you couldn't shake the thought that school is meant for education, not for falling in love with a cute boy who has tape coming from his elbows. You felt lost and unsure of what to do, especially since you weren't close to anyone at UA, and telling your parents would only lead to endless teasing.

So, you decided to do something that felt right. You made him plants that reminded you of him. Arriving a few minutes early to class, you pulled out a small succulent from your bag and carefully placed it on Sero's desk. Quickly returning to your seat, the rest of the class entered. "Hey, what's this?" Sero exclaimed, capturing the attention of his friends. "A fucking plant?" Bakugo chimed in. Sero picked up the handmade pot and examined the little plant in his hands. "Yeah, it looks healthy," he said with a smile. "I wonder who put it here," Denki pondered aloud before taking his seat. "Doesn't Y/n grow plants?" Mina questioned. All eyes turned towards you, causing you to freeze as you just opened your bag.

"Nah, they hardly ever talk to us, let alone Sero," Kirishima remarked, causing everyone to turn their gaze towards you. You snapped your head in their direction, a tinge of annoyance evident in your voice as you asked, "Can I help you with something?" Tilting your head slightly, you watched as their expressions froze. "N-nothing! Sorry, Y/n," Kirishima quickly apologized, but Denki interrupted him. "Did you give Sero this plant or not?" he questioned, snatching the pot from Sero's grasp. "Uh, no. Why would I do that?" you scoffed, a hint of sarcasm lacing your words. "Just because I can grow plants doesn't mean I'll do it for all of you," you rolled your eyes before turning away from them. You could have sworn you caught a glimpse of disappointment in Sero's eyes, but you didn't pay it much mind.

The following day, you repeated the same action, except this time, you filled the pot with marigolds, one of Sero's favorite flowers, or so you had overheard. As you settled back into your seat, they all entered the room. "Again?" Mina questioned, while you noticed Sero's eyes widen. "No way?" he exclaimed, a smile spreading across his face as he practically sprinted towards the pot. "It's just a flower, flatface," Bakugo remarked dismissively as he took his seat. "It's a Marigold, my favorite among them all," Sero spoke gently, his fingers caressing the delicate petals. "Hey, little one," he whispered, and in that moment, your heart melted. The way he treated the flowers with reverence and spoke to them, acknowledging that all living nature had feelings, only made you fall for him even more. You turned your head to the side, hiding your flushed face. "Are you alright, Y/n? Your face is turning red-" Before Deku could finish his sentence, you swiftly used your quirk, shooting out vines to cover his mouth. "Shut it," you hissed, glancing back at Bakusquad to ensure they hadn't heard you or Deku. Letting out a sigh, you released him. "Sorry," you said coldly, averting your gaze and capturing the attention of Dekusquad as they exchanged curious glances.

Throughout the week, you delighted in placing a new plant on his desk each day, each one a reminder of Sero. It was impossible to resist the joy of witnessing his reaction and the growing curiosity of your classmates about the flowers he would receive. Today, you hurriedly entered the classroom and carefully set down a Lapageria, a plant you had only read about and seen pictures of. As you placed the pot on the desk, a sudden movement caught you off guard - white tape swiftly wrapped around you. "I knew it!" you heard a voice exclaim. Frozen in place, you found yourself face to face with Sero, a mischievous smirk on his face as his tape held you tightly. "Let me go, Sero," you snapped, determined to maintain your composure. "And why would I do that to my secret admirer?" he teased, inching closer to your face. "Who said I gave you all those flowers?" you spat, struggling to break free from his grip. "I simply walked in and the flowers happened to be there." You glared at him, boldly lying to his face. "I think you're lying~" he smiled, his confidence unwavering. "You can stop pretending now, Y/n. I know it's you."

You let out a defeated sigh, finally giving up the struggle. "Fine, it was," you said, averting your gaze. "I only knew it was you because you were the only person around when I mentioned liking marigolds." Your mouth formed an 'o' shape as you recalled that the Bakusquad was in the lounge area with Sero when he mentioned it, while you were alone in the kitchen. You tried to speak up, but all that came out was a squeak, leaving you speechless. Your face turned red as Sero laughed at your reaction. "I appreciate it, Y/n. I loved coming to school every day to see what kind of plant you grew for me. It made my day," he said softly. Finally gathering the courage, you looked back at him and spoke with a gentle smile, "I'm glad you liked them. These plants are like my babies, and I don't usually give them away without knowing if the person will take care of them." You paused for a moment before continuing, "And seeing you talk to them, acknowledging that they have feelings like we do, made me realize that you are the right person." You quickly shook your head, correcting yourself, "I mean, the right person to take care of the plants, not necessarily the right person for me. Although, I do like you and you kind of are the right person for me, but-" Sero interrupted you, placing a finger on your lips. "I understand what you mean," he chuckled, releasing you from his tape. "But I also think you're the right person for me." Once again, he left you speechless. He glanced behind him, hearing the sound of the approaching class. "Let's continue this conversation in my dorm. There, you can see how your 'babies' are doing," he smiled before leaning close to your ear. "See you later mi cielo" A shiver ran down your spine as the class entered, prompting you to quickly rush to your desk before getting caught.

As they all approached Sero's desk, Momo inquired, "So, which flower did you receive this time, Sero?" With a smile, he replied, "It's a Lapageria, also known as a Chilean bellflower." The sight of the stunning flower left everyone in awe. Ochaco chimed in, "It's absolutely adorable! I wonder who keeps surprising you with these beautiful flowers." Sero glanced at you, his smile gentle as he observed your blushing face. Feeling a mix of emotions, you turned your head away, concealing your smile behind your hand, as you rediscovered the joy of expressing happiness once more.

•Now your classmates were already obsessed and overbearing with you they bicker with each other about who would hang out with you Mina would pinch your cheeks telling you how adorable you are tsuyu loves to cuddle with you and if you tried to leave she'd guilt trip you to stay longer, Hakagure love watching you even if you're not talking to her but if you are she acts like she doesn't deserve to talk to someone like you, Jirou is Making you a bunch of playlist involving love songs and your fav songs are now hers too

And the boys aren't any better

•Bakugo would force you to walk with him to class while holding hands and glaring at anyone who looked funny, Todoroki would always need help with something in his room whether be a broken lamp or some work he would always be something in his dorm room and while you're helping him he'll invite you to spend the night or to just watch you, Izuku would try to squeeze information out of you by asking a bunch of questions about everything, Sero and Denki would try to invite you to play video games with them and would try to impress you with their skills making it a big completion

•But they always question your strange habits, Like how you'll go to bed early, Or how you mostly don't use your work as much and use your fighting skills, and whenever you see the bat on TV you always 1st one to see it

•One day you were heading to bed early while talking to Kirishima and Tokoyami the 2 men got curious and took a peak in your room to their shock you were to be seen but there was another costume on your bed that looked similar to "the bats" hero costume kiri took the mask and examine it and theories were true they were gonna have to tell the class

•The next day you were bombarded with questions, squealing and wonder everyone was holding put autographs and stuff it was crazy

Toddler regressor!!! He regresses to like 3-5

What They Bring to a Picnic

BNHA x reader

a/n: tyyyy @kirixfilms for the ideaaaa :)) <333 big hugs! my thoughts on what they’d bring to a picnic date :) and what a perfect way to send the summer season on its way!

Izuku

Homemade Pinwheels

He spent an ungodly amount of hours on pinterest trying to find the perfect treat to bring just to land on pinwheels. He had a slap from reality when he really tried to imagine himself cooking some dish that had at least 6 hours prep time - he’s sweet and devoted but he’s also realistic. So what better than a light but filling meal than pinwheels!!

He was so proud of himself it was adorable. He opens the tray with a big smile and a little “ta-da!” He gets even giddier when you take a bite and send him a little thumbs up and hum, telling him it’s “so good!” with your mouth still full. Yeah yeah you just made his week

Shoto

Water & Homemade fruit & bread cakes

His first thought was definitely keeping the both of you hydrated and he almost settled on just bringing water - until he thought about it a little more and realized hm, maybe he should contribute with something else, too.

And then he remembered those cute little easy to make cakes you sent him on TikTok a while back and it was like a lightbulb went off in his head :) you really should’ve seen him all focused with his eyebrows furrowed as he tried to evenly spread the whipped cream and cut the bread just right. Not only that, but huffing and puffing while cutting the fruit as he debated with himself how big the slices should be. He even made the strawberries line up like little hearts under the bread even if you couldn’t see it, he was particularly proud of that.

Iida

Those mini sandwiches with no crust

He’s SO so proud of himself as he sets them out for you two to share; even periodically taking glances at you as you take your first few bites, smiling to himself proudly when you hum and smile. He even still asks you,

“Do you enjoy them? I made sure to be careful cutting the crust!”

As if your joy wasn’t obvious enough.

He even made a few different kinds! That way you had your options with flavors - he knows your favorite, but maybe you wanted to try something new!

Overall a very considerate gentleman :-)

Kirishima

Your favorite drinks & egg salad sandwiches

He tries to keep it light but yummy for his contribution to lunch, but just in case you don’t like them (cause he forgot to ask rip) he’s made sure to bring your favorite drinks so you’ll be happy somehow.

He cuts them into diagonals (after trying and failing to cut them into heart shapes of course - which he made sure to tell you about) and thinks it’s so chic and cute and is very proud of himself for the fact (what a sweetie).

Please give him a kiss on the cheek and tell him thank you, he’ll be wearing he biggest brightest smile the rest of the week about it

Ochaco

Homemade Rice Krispies & Melon Kebobs

Picnic dates have always been a must for her, they’re fun and cute so she already knew what she was gonna make - something tasty and simple!!

She made sure she whipped out the scooper and made the sweetest melon kebobs with honeydew, cantaloupe, & watermelon! And of course she made to make those extra sweet Rice Krispies :3

She was so excited to show you what she made and see what you made in return, too. She was adamant on feeding each other the first bites of what the other made, and she made the cutest face and gave you the biggest smile with her mouth full when you fed her that first bite of what you brought :,,(((. She also loved the way your lips tasted so sweet when she gave you little pecks after having the Rice Krispies

She’s decided she’ll have to make those for you more often <333

Bakugou

Charcuterie Board

As soon as you mentioned you wanted to go on a picnic date he understood the assignment. You had been nonstop talking about charcuterie boards and how bad you wanted to try one and then you mention a picnic date? Yeah you aren’t slick he knows what you’re throwing down.

He shows up all straight faced and whips everything out while you’re just gaping at him like, wow? And he just rolls his eyes like it’s nothing and crosses his arms, saying you better enjoy it and he doesn’t want to see a single scrap when this date is over cause he put a lot of work into this damn thing.

You guys definitely walk home with tummy aches from how full you are, but happy tummy aches <3

Pop rocks & Shrimp Chips

Listen, he believes in convenience when it comes to a picnic. He doesn’t plan on going all out cause he knows he’s just gonna want to snack and then either cuddle or explore! So of course he packs his fav snacks he can take on the go!

He does feel a little sheepish when he realizes you packed lunches for the two of you, and all he brought was candy and chips. But after you give him a kiss on the cheek and tell him to get over himself

Ability: allows reader to shrink down things and people and return them back to full size when shrunk these items become much more dense and harder to damage. The drawback is that the item will slowly grow back to normal size and the power has to be reused they also have a limit to 4 things shrunk at a time not including themself.

reader is also extremely shy and when feeling flustered will accidently shrink themselves and get stuck until calmed down.

They are a 1A student who went to the same school as mina where she was their only freind but moved schools after parents split up.

four things/people at a time besides yourself was still a pretty fresh step forward, and initially you were very proud, but over time it just felt like less and less of an accomplishment. yes, tou pressed for a fifth.

and no, it wasn't going well.

during one training,, you were REEEAAALLY pushing. and aizawa was trying to help you w that, but he didn't realize just how hard he was pushing bc... well, naturally, you being more reserved, you didn't say anything about it. he didn't notice until you were bordering tears, and rather uncharacteristically starting showing how hard you were straining out loud.

"ah-... AGH! I CAN- I- HH-!!"

he started calming the pressure, realizing that maybe this wasn't the greatest ideas. and then a fifth object started shrinking. you saw it, and pressed harder, the motivation driving you, but then the other objects started growing. why was this happening? they were supposed to go back to normal on their own, a new shrinking object isn't supposed to effect them. why the fucking hell was this-?

you didn't realize his quirk was being used on you until you relaxed for a moment and all four objects stayed the same size. you tried catching your breath and then were aware of the eyes on you and :(

as soon as he blinked, you were shrunk down.

yeah, it was...kinda awkward. and you wanted to hide forever.

but then

a couple of them, namely momo, shinsou, the dekusquad, koda, and tentacole, showed up at your door.

and they. they told you how awesome it was that you made that bit of progress. momo even made little toy versions of the things you'd shrunk, and suddenly you wanted to shrink again HRNDN

BC THEY WERE SO SWEET???

and the rest of the class obviously cheered you on the next training, and the next, and the ones after that.

they believed in you. but ultimately? they thought you were pretty fucking cool no matter what.

Like literally he wakes up in the same position he slept in

When he started dating you , he didn't expect this

Oh boy he didn't expect it at all

When you say yes he is surprised

"How ?...I mean...it's adorable and it's so awe...but...how?"

You laughed

"Idk honey I just like sleeping this way...hope it doesn't bother you"

Then he will question how the fuck did you get yourself in this position from the beginning

"I mean this is physically impossible...are you a cat?"

Will fall asleep trying his best to hug you but in this position you both end up in the most weird position at the morning

Sero Headcanons

Warning: drug use and kinda long

- he would definitely be the kind of person that when they realize they like you they would just admire from afar.

- he is insecure about the way he looks in comparison to his friends

- he feels like he is rather plan in this context and that he doesn’t really stand out.

- totally comes to terms that nothing will come out of this crush and doesn’t try to entertain it that much

- that becomes really hard when you become like best friends with Denki

- tries to treat you like any of his friends but finds himself remembering lil details about you

- fav things ( foods,drinks,songs,subjects,etc.), what you are objectively good at, how you act in class, homework habits, etc.

- Might randomly drop by and give snacks; mandarins, cut fruit, or even like random snacks he remembered that you said you liked from the convenience store.

- whenever hes smokes in his room and he thinks about you he is either chilling on the floor in the starfish position or cuddling his appointed cuddle pillow and pretend that its you.

- When he reaches his lows he really keeps it to himself and hides it really well ( will also find himself crying while he’s high thinking about how he’s just not wanted romantically )

- Denki obviously finds out bc Sero is his best bud

- does his level best to convince Sero that he can totally pull you

- tries to give advice but its Denki so takes it with a grain of salt because its Denki c’mon.

- It takes at least a month to convince this poor tape boi that he should confess to you.

- his confession was at like 3 am in the walmart-equivalent-in-japan’s parking lot with snacks.

- probably a little high and you would be too ( if you smoke ) and really just vibing in the empty parking lot blasting music whatnot

- he pulls up a slow dance song on his phone and motions you to come over.

- hugs you and brings you really close resting his head on your head/shoulder/chest ( depending on you height ) and just gently sways while the song plays.

- skinship w hanta wouldn’t be weird at this point in yall’s friendship

- when the song ends he just tells you plainly

“ y/n i like you, like, really like you. as in I wanna take you on dates and kiss you and hold your hands when he walk to class. idk i have liked you for so long that it would hurt if we aren’t friends anymore but its hurts even more not being able to tell you.”

- he stops swaying and just looks you dead in the eyes with such a painful look , bc hes waiting for rejection, but also like lovingly bc hes looking at his favorite person on this planet.

- but bc hes such a caring person, genuine kindness, also like chill low-key crackhead energy but observant and just just a great guy.

“ jeez hanta you almost gave me a heart attack.”

laughing he pulls away from the hug confused like ‘ my feelings? don't matter ?? not important??’

- hold his face in you hands and kiss his cheek

“ dont worry hanta i like you too”

- he might be on the verge of tears, but they are happy and relief tears.

- will totally hug you again and spin you in a circle

- this man might be lanky but damn is he stronkkk

- while yall’s is dating he is basically your like best friend but with chill pda and private romantic times.

- he smells like oranges and this one cologne he uses to hide the smell of weed.

- his cologne would definitely be the freshwater cologne :)))))

- he will totally do skincare with you

- he doesn't have the best skin but he hides most of it with his bangs + mullet, but doing yalls skincare together totally helps his self confidence

- even gets to the point where he reminds you to do it.

- helpful lil reminders throughout the day

“dont pick your acne, you’ll complain about it later.”
