The birth chart is divided into 12 houses, each representing a different area of life.

Here is a brief explanation of each house placement:

Seeing how the astrology of my natal chart connects to the universal transits at any given time or how it connects to someone else’s astrological blueprint, was when this magical study of the above mirroring the below first became undoubtedly valid in my mind. I’m a skeptic by nature, so although just diving into my natal chart alone expanded my mind majorly, it wasn’t enough for me to say beyond a doubt that it’s all “real”. After all, when keeping just yourself in mind, it can be easy to distort the meanings slightly to make it fit. It can be easy to see what you want to see (or what you don’t want to see; i.e. your fears about yourself) when you come to your natal chart at the beginning and discover there are so many planets, signs, and houses fitting into the puzzle of you. I completely understand why skeptics of astrology think people into it just have confirmation bias. And also why when they then learn there’s a whole natal chart not just a sun sign, they might just think that all gives much more space for confirmation bias.

Frankly I agree that only studying your own astrology, or only natal charts in general, although it can still be useful, and is definitely the most logical way to first break into studying astrology in depth, does not ultimately provide the interplay of distinct forces which validates astrology’s connection in our lives in uncanny ways. Ways that I think would be quite hard for anyone to not take as proof of astrology’s validity, if they understood what they were looking at. Because there are statistics involved.

When you see where someone else puts a planet on one of your planets, that makes you feels so accepted in some distinct way you normally don’t by others, to the point that you could have guessed they had a loving planet interacting with that specific placement of yours at a specific place within the 360 degrees of the zodiac, before you even checked the synastry… When you date multiple people in a row who turn out to have the same major placement(s) at even around the same degrees, and it’s because you’re working through some issues of your own through them at that time… When you meet someone who highlights a certain placement of yours at the exact same time the universe is also highlighting that placement of yours… When you can connect the most major events in your life to major life transits… When I can even just feel the Moon switching signs or conjoining certain planets which I then confirm after having lost track of where it was….

These are all examples of things that make astrology way harder to invalidate. Yes, there was the space to see things how my mind just wanted to, when I was just looking at natal charts. But once I started to see how a cosmic blueprint actually interacts with blueprints outside itself or with the universal cosmic forces, that’s when I started seeing all the connections to things outside myself that astrology can illustrate with uncanny statistics… and that’s when I knew the dance of the planets does have connections to our lives down on planet Earth.

I saw a gif set about Five reference that he's a Capricorn and it occurred to me that we could do the Umbrella's birth charts since we know when the time and date they were born but then I remembered seeing someone question what the 12th hour meant since they were born in different timezones and whether the births were simultaneous or at 12pm in each timezone. I don't think we have a canon answer but is there a fanon consensus?

Also I realise we don't have places of birth for all of them (or in Five's case we have County Clark which is not a real place in Ireland) but I guess I'd just substitute capital cities for those we don't know.

I highly doubt I'm the first person to do this anyway. And for anyone about to come at me because astrology isn't real, neither are the Hargreeves? I don't know if I believe in astrology but I find it fun to play with

Silco Headcanons - The Anatomy of a Dark Messiah - Zodiac Rambles

First off, going by the Big Three I headcanoned in a previous post:

Gemini sun - Charismatic, witty, calculating.

Pisces Moon - Adaptable, empathetic, dual-natured.

Scorpio Rising - Aggressive, ambitious and needs to be in control.

Gemini is the mutable sign of the zodiac. It is associated with the element of air, and centered on the mind/intellect. There is also a duality present in Gemini - it can be split into yang (positive, masculine, outward energy) and yin (negative, feminine, inward energy), like two sides of a coin.

As a young man, this duality manifested in Silco's witty, amiable exterior and the darker, more ambitious nature he kept hidden. He was flexible with his plans, ready to adapt at the slightest provocation. Present-day, it shows in the ease with which he switches from the charismatic Chancellor to the cutthroat kingpin, and in the way he uses rationalizations to justify his actions: "I'm doing this for us, Jinx," - "It's for your own good, Jinx." - "We can't go back now, Jinx."

His Gemini is in Neptune, and occupies his first house. It's also conjunct Pluto, and squared by the asteroid Eris.

Neptune is associated with illusions, secrecy, mysticism, and spiritual transcendence. It's also the root of delusions, cults, and messiah complexes. It can also manifest as a lifelong intimacy with the Plutonic forces of nature: death, rebirth, metamorphosis, evolution—and revolution. The placement in the first house symbolizes his early life, and his base nature (his first self, in a sense.) His is a childhood marked by struggle, strife, and hellish darkness: working in the mines, but also being in close proximity to gold, silver, gems. Pluto, in mythology, is known as The Rich One, and reflects Silco's talent for accumulating wealth and resources, and also rechanneling them to fund disruptive endeavors that topple the status quo.

This conjunction also indicates the potential for great spiritual magnetism. Neptune in the first house reflects an inner world of dreams and nightmares. If these are not balanced, the person may suffer from a sense of unreality, becoming disconnected from the world around them.

Paired with his silvery Gemini tongue, this becomes a barbed weapon: his words literally have the power to make the listener see God—or the Devil.

Silco's Moon is in Pisces. This is the final sign of the zodiac and, in a way, represents a sort of "summing up" of the whole zodiac cycle. Silco's Pisces sits in his eighth house. It is the ruler of Capricorn, a Cardinal earth sign that is concerned with survival, practicality, and building things from the ground up. Taken together, this speaks to deep emotional scaffoldings that have held him back, and been torn down, at great cost.

A moon in the eighth house also signifies an absent, or unstable maternal influence. In Silco's case, it indicates his mother's mental illness, her swings between mania and lucidness, and her institutionalization in the Asylum. It likewise relates to his period of imprisonment in Stillwater, and the loss of self-expression (he's literally kept muzzled during his stay). Finally, it points to the systemic barriers that keep him from fully unleashing that tender, perceptive, empathetic side of him without paying the price.

He is, literally, caged by external forces. The lack of safety and security, the violence and hopelessness - all of this takes its toll.

And yet, it's in the structured Saturnian identity of fatherhood that his Moon really blossoms. Through giving Jinx the stability and protection she craves, he finds his own emotional equilibrium, and an outlet for that creative, intuitive, caring side of himself.

At the same time, there is an intensity, a sense of warping, that the placement lends his relationship with Jinx. He's too involved. He's too willing to sacrifice, or twist rules, or wring necks.

Anything to keep Jinx safe - and keep her his.

His rising sign is Scorpio. The first thing that comes to mind is the sting: the sting of his tongue, his eye, his blade. But also the sting of his rage. Our rising sign is the veneer, the public self. Silco's sits in Scorpio, with his Sun sign already in close proximity to Pluto. The combination is associated with secrets, occultism, and death. It is also linked to intense ambition and a burning drive to succeed at all costs.

His rising in the sixth house is interesting. It signifies a drive to do something useful for others. To make their lives better.

This is an unusual placement, considering how his outward persona is so driven by self-interest. And yet, it is the foundation of his character, and the loyalty he inspires in others. Everything he does, no matter how ruthless, is rooted in his drive to birth Zaun into being. It also ties into his willingness to sacrifice his own ambitions, his health, his life, for a greater cause.

Not Zaun, but Jinx.

His North node is in Pisces, with the South in Virgo. The nodes represent karmic threads, and the North is our path to mastery, and the South is our lessons, and what we're still trying to figure out. Silco's is almost a call to find 'God' - to be a guide to the lost and broken. It's also a reflection of his innate desire to help others. He finds meaning, purpose, and healing in the bonds he forms, and through nurturing Jinx, his path becomes clear: to guide his child.

And yet, the Neptunian influence creates, once again, a sense of warping: who is the guiding force, and who is the lost?

His Lilith - the planet representing his anima, the wounded feminine, the vengeful succubus - is fittingly in Cancer. The mother-of-all-monsters is the most nurturing and protective of her brood. She will defend her children to the death, and has the ferocity of a thousand women scorned. She's the demoness that will hunt you down, and eat your heart if you dare harm her family.

This plays into his fierce overprotectiveness for Jinx, his willingness to kill for her - but also, disquietingly, his tendency to smother her, to try to control her and keep her safe in the confines of his world, where nothing and no one can reach her.

His Venus and Mars, two signs intimately tied to romance, relationships, sexuality, are both in Capricorn. They sit in the twelfth house, and form a conjunction. Mars in Capricorn is ambitious and focused, but it can be destructive, especially when it's not channeled correctly. The combination is also sometimes associated with the Devil.

This is the most volatile piece of Silco's psyche, forged in the crucible of trauma and betrayal, and has only one goal: survival. It's kill or be killed, and it's the reason why he doesn't hesitate to launch an ambush from the shadows, kill a child, or torture a lackey. It is the ruthless part of his nature, and a reminder that while his actions might be motivated by idealism, he is just as comfortable with blood-work as he is with politics.

Violence may be 'base.' But it's necessary for change. And by God, does it feel good.

Your Mars placement is also an indicator of the men you're drawn to, or the masculine traits you idealize (while Jupiter is the more 'husbandly' aspect, and describes the men we might settle down with). Silco's Mars is in Capricorn: we see this play out in his attraction to Vander, a hardworking, rugged, disciplined man, who is both a leader and a father figure. Vander's grounded and brass-buttons attitude was a good a counterpoint to Silco's shady and slippery ways.

Without it, he's prone to succumbing to the pull of his darker side.

More positively, his Mars in Capricorn also gives him the grit and tenacity to keep climbing his way up, despite the odds. He takes each setback in stride, and finds the means to push forward. He never stops, and that's what makes him the unstoppable force he is. Likewise, the Capricornian aspect comes through in his outward projection of authority. He's got 'Daddy' energy - pun fully intended - and gives the impression of an austere, forbidding patriarch who is always in control. His lackeys respect him, and are terrified of his temper. The way he expresses his approval is not with a warm embrace, or a gentle pep-talk. It's with the barest smile, the ambiguous tilt of the head, the briefest acknowledgment.

Yet that Martian fire is also the spark behind his charisma. If push comes to shove, he'll descend from his tower and get down in the trenches with the grunts. He prefers not to get his hands dirty, but he's not above wading into the fray himself, or personally gutting a turncoat to make a point.

And the sheer carnivorous zeal in his eyes, when he sinks his blade, hilt-deep, is palpable.

His Venus, likewise in Capricorn, is a curious placement. He's not a sentimentalist, and his aesthetic is far from festive. Yet it imbues him with a nearly old-world severity that verges on elegance, completely at odds with his thuggish reputation. He's hard to please and has a taste for the finer things. He's also notoriously difficult to thaw.

He's not looking for love, and he's certainly not smitten by a pretty face or a mouthful of sugared words. His pleasures are rooted in tactile things: the weight of gold coins in his hand, the heady scent of cigar smoke, the soft pliancy of skin beneath his fingertips.

He doesn't do romance. Not the way you'd expect. But he's got a taste for the chase, and is a masterful wordsmith.

The Venus placement is also the 'wife' aspect, and describes the woman (or type of woman) he would be interested in. The Capricornian influence is reflected in the maturity and gravity he seeks in a partner. She's got a cool exterior, a razor wit, and a taste for refined luxury. She's also his equal: the only woman who can keep up with him. He doesn't need a mother figure to pamper him. He's not interested in a little girl who'll pout and wheedle her way into his good graces.

He's already got a daughter, and more than enough on his plate.

He needs a partner, in every sense. Someone who is his match, and who can bring her own strengths to the table.

We see this play out in his relationships with both Sevika and Mel. In the former, there is a certain solidity, given that she is a trusted comrade-in-arms. There's an easy physicality between them, even as they butt heads over his choices and their consequences. The history also lends itself to a deep-seated connection. Both serve to keep each other grounded, and their dynamic is nearly 'spousal' in its banter and bickering.

With Mel, it's about a challenge, an intellectual dance. The tensions run high, but there's an undergirding of mutual playfulness, and a recognition of the other's prowess. She's extremely classy, and carries herself with a nearly queenly poise. It's the kind of quality he's always secretly coveted. For a boy from the Lanes, who spent his youth scraping mud off his boots, a woman like her is an unreachable ideal. He wants to leave his filthy fingerprints all over her. To stir up her passions. Too wreck her.

What's more, he suspects, with patience, she'll let him.

The twelfth house is the realm of the unconscious, the occult, and the otherworldly. Both his Venus and Mars are located here, and they're in close conjunction. In terms of sexuality, this placement indicates a pull towards the taboo. He's got remarkably few inhibitions, and his tastes bleed toward the decadent and unconventional. He enjoys sex with a bit of an edge - the sharper the better. The Capricornian vibe plays into this: control games, the subtle dance of seduction and surrender, and a healthy heaping of kink.

There's an almost feral, wild-child side to his libido. And there is nothing that thrills him quite as much as taking a strong plaything, and seeing how quickly he can make them fall to their knees—and fall apart.

On the flipside, this also indicates an obsession with having the upper-hand. Every act of generosity comes with a dotted line. Every gift, a debt. Every kiss, a contract.

The twelfth house's ties to the occult also speak to a deep, unrelenting spiritual drive. As we saw earlier, his Sun, Neptune, and Pluto are all aligned in this direction. While he may not put stock in the gods, or any higher power, the notion of transcendence is an intrinsic part of his identity. It's a part of him that has been shaped by trauma, warped by betrayal, reborn by revolution, and risen from the ashes like the mythical sea-monster.

His faith rests not in the heavens, but himself.

Astro Observation: Commonalities in Serial Killer charts

DISCLAIMER: Any aspects, placements, signs, etc. that I mention here on out do not mean that people with one or all of these are, will become, or will act out serial killer tendencies. I am merely finding common aspects and placements in famous serial killers' charts to delve deeper into the reasons for their actions. As always, one aspect can be expressed in so many different ways. So, take everything with a grain of salt.

If we break down each person's chart by only personal planets, what sign comes up the most often?

Scorpio and Gemini are the signs that came up most frequently. Every serial killer in my list has Scorpio or Gemini in their charts except for Richard Ramirez and Aileen Wuornos.

Scorpio is not a big surprise since this is the sign ruled by Pluto. Death, taboo subjects, obsession, fascination with darker sides of life, control, and power are all very Scorpionic and Plutonian themes. Negative Scorpio traits include being vengeful, manipulative, aggressive, and insensitive. They have innate seductive energy that lures people in as well.

Gemini is a bit more surprising. However, Geminis are curious, clever, impulsive, moody, and good with words. They like to know private information about other people. They are also social creatures, so if they are lacking social connection, things can go south for them. Or, they can use their social skills to lure others to them. The duality of Geminis could go to the extremes; two different personalities in one.

The next most frequent sign is Aquarius. Richard Ramirez and Aileen Wuornos have Aquarius in their charts.

Not a huge surprise with Aquarius. Negative Aquarius energy could mean detachment from emotions, lack of empathy, extreme rebelliousness, pessimism, and coldness. They can be unpredictable and have a superiority complex as well.

The sign that did not appear at all among personal planets is Leo. Taurus and Cancer come in a close second with only one each.

By modality? Not much difference here, but Mutable signs are in the lead. Mutable (17), Fixed (14), Cardinal (13)

By element? Air and Water came up the most with 15 and 13 respectively. Fire and Earth tied at 8 each.

Most common aspect?

Neptune - Pluto (8/9)

This is a generational aspect so 8 out of the 9 have Neptune sextile Pluto, except for Charles Manson. This aspect lasts from the 1940s to the 2030s (Charles Manson was born earlier in 1934). Because this aspect includes such a wide range of people, it does not have a huge effect on our serial killer study. I also do not know their birth times, so I do not even know which houses Neptune and Pluto land in their charts.

Venus - Mars (7/9)

Venus-Mars aspects are typically seen as attractive aspects since they join the planet of love, beauty, and sensuality with the planet of action, physicality, and aggression. From a negative perspective, Venus-Mars can also mean a love for aggression, sexual frustration, and an imbalance between wanting to be accepted/acceptable and wanting to act out in self-interest. May want love and affection, but either in an unconventional way or a part of them fights against or feels uncomfortable with this desire. (Ted Bundy and Jeffrey Dahmer are the only two who do not have this aspect; Ted Bundy was known to be attractive to a lot of people and had a certain charm; he does has Venus square Pluto.)

Moon - Uranus (7/9)

Once again, because I do not know birth times, the Moon placements are not accurate. However, I still thought this might be good to look at since there are so many of them. Moon-Uranus gives an unpredictable and disruptive nature to emotions. Their emotional lives may feel unstable, and strong emotions may rise suddenly. They could be rebellious and may feel restless frequently; may desire to separate themselves from others. Childhood could have been unstable/unaffectionate, and these people could lack slow, routine comfort. (John Wayne Gacy and David Berkowitz are the only two who do not have this aspect; David Berkowitz does have Aquarius Moon, which is different from Moon-Uranus but could give a similar flavor)

Sun - Saturn (6/9)

There is self-restricting energy that comes with Sun-Saturn aspects. In a negative light, this aspect shows seriousness, self-denial, lacking a strong sense of self, insecurity, and taking yourself too seriously. This could also show that people deny the Sun-Saturn people their self-expression and acceptance. (Pedro Lopez, Jeffrey Dahmer, and David Berkowitz are the only three who do not have this aspect)

Mars - Neptune (6/9)

Mars-Neptune can be spiritual, elusive, sensitive, imaginative, and dependent. In the realm of serial killers, spirituality can be taken to the extreme; think cult activity, believing a higher power is making you do bad things, etc. (Charles Manson has Mars conjunct Neptune, and David Berkowitz has Mars trine Neptune.) Serial killers can blend in and play in the shadows too, which is Neptunian. They can also assume a different persona, act like a completely different person. Many of these killers were seen as sensitive, shy, and/or polite during the day or in childhood. They can be impressionable; could have been heavily affected by their childhood environments, and acted out physically by imitation or by lashing out. (Pedro Lopez, Harold Shipman, and Jeffrey Dahmer are the only three that do not have this aspect.)

Closing Thoughts

When it comes to serial killers, I see two trains of thought. There is an intense fight between two opposing sides in one person. There is also an extreme detachment from themselves and other people. Saturn is the most aspected planet among these 9 charts, which speaks volumes astrologically about what can push someone to that level of violence and anger. Control, denial, and detachment are huge themes. There is absolutely no excuse for these serial killers and what they did to their victims and the victims' families and loved ones. But it is important to know that most, if not all of them, were denied love and affection in childhood. They were controlled or neglected by authority figures, whether or not this was perceived or for real. And they developed the ability to detach from themselves and other people. They then exert control over their victims and literally deny them their lives. During the act, they detach from any societal morals and ethics and any part of themselves that could possibly say that they shouldn't go through with their violent thoughts.

When there is discomfort within one's self, it builds up and, over time, this pent-up frustration and anger has to come out somehow. This is oftentimes through aggression (Mars) that is ignited by strong emotions (Moon). Serial killers take this to another level (violence, violent emotions)

It is also interesting to see Jupiter within the top half of the list. Serial killers tend to have strong ideologies/principles about the world, people, and everything that is wrong with both. This can also show an urge to expand and inflict their ideologies onto other people.

This is my little "study" on some famous serial killers. Kind of creeping me out right now so...

Sometimes I feel like an impostor Cancer because I’m just not drawn to caretaking/nurturing and don’t think I ever much have been. Sure, I’ve always liked animals, but the thing is, taking care of them just feels like WORK to me. I love my cats but there’s a good chance I won’t get more when they die because even with the new “automatic” litter box they still cause me more stress than most things in my daily life. Maybe it’s my intercepted 6th house- idk but it is true that I wasn’t properly shown how to be of service to others (or how to nurture others) in my youth.

Also though, mentioning the 6th house makes me think about how it might actually be the Virgo archetype that is the true biggest caretaker in the zodiac- as it relates to physical acts of service at least. Cancer relates more to emotional nurturance- which I also feel like I lack in being able to provide for others, but probably that’s because I still have a ways to go in learning how to nurture myself.

SOME CANCER TRAITS I DO RELATE TO: (even though I just wanna mention that I see the signs as less about personality traits and more about functions we’ve come here to learn or refine)

- How VERY self-protective I am (and Idk why this isn’t always one of the first things mentioned with ♋️ when you think of a crab and its shell). I’m very quick to put up walls. 🤷‍♀️ (it’s not 100% a bad thing though)

- My great memory especially for things about other people or sentiments they once shared with me. (I see this as especially a Cancer Mercury thing)

- My tendency to live in the past in general (way more than the future, but it’s the present I’m probably most engrossed in, at least emotionally). You can tell I only have my North Node in Aquarius cuz the future is a blind spot for me. 😔

- For all practical purposes, I am a major homebody. I might not be this way as much if my mental health was better, and also there’s a part of me that can find my home to be like a prison at times because there are always chores I have to do inside of it. Regardless, I don’t think I would do well without a homebase to return to at all times- both in an external and internal sense. I definitely don’t ever see myself being a wandering nomad in this lifetime. 😂

- I think I was ESPECIALLY sensitive to the dynamics of my family and mother, and I see it to be this way for most Cancers. The stereotype of Cancer being a momma’s boy/girl is definitely not always true, but the concept of a Cancer being especially sensitive to their family dynamics, particularly their relationship with the nurturing parent figure, I think is often true. This means that if you’re having a Cancer, you actually might have to be MORE careful with them than with another child to not give them reasons to resent you. 😉

- My emotions tend to inform my personal philosophies and decisions because I just can’t help but to place SO much importance on whatever emotion it is I’m currently feeling. I get so swept up in whatever emotion it is I’m feeling that once I’m no longer feeling it in the moment, I may actually forget what it was like to ever feel that emotion.

- I think I can be very persuasive (although most would probably not admit if I persuaded them to think a certain way) and this might be because without consciously trying, I know how to speak to peoples’ emotions.

- If you just take the somewhat flawed Cancer stereotypes out of the picture and focus on the ruler of Cancer, the Moon, well I relate to the Moon a TON. She is the master of quiet persuasion, influencing so much of what happens on earth, but she does her thing when there are less people out to notice her. I myself have been drawn to a nocturnal schedule most of my life.

The Moon is definitely more wild than she is domesticated in my opinion (although she does stick to a cycle, but astrologically speaking, the other planets always shifting means her journey each month is never quite the same). The Moon allows us to feel what is going on with the other planets, so in this way I can see why Cancer relates to support. But a Cancer’s support is not always obvious, sometimes it looks like being the reflection that gets another person to see something in themselves they didn’t want to see.

Also, people don’t seem to be thinking enough about what a crab is like when they think of Cancer. 🦀 So I figure that I’m actually just one of many Cancers who has a hard time relating to all the most well known Cancer stereotypes.

Hopefully this testimony has helped another Cancer out there to feel more understood. ♥️
