"Hey doll." Bucky smiled at you and walked in the room with a familiar box in his hands.

"Hey baby, what's up with the box?" You said smiling

"You wouldn't believe it but I found our old box with the photos of us when we were younger." He said, a childlike joy glimmering in his eyes.

"Oh my god...I thought we lost those when we moved!!" You said happily, jumping into your newlywed husband's arms.

He spun you around and kisses you all over, you happily returning the favor. He put you down on your shared bed and he sat down as well. He set the box down on the coffee table next to you guys. You opened the box and set the cover down on the bed.

"Oh my god Bucky...look.." You said, trying not to scream from happiness.

"Oh doll...I remember this..this was the first time you'd come to my house right?"

"Yeah baby it is." You smiled, it almost hurt.

✨Flashback ✨

You and Bucky were six years old when you two first met, and honestly it was an instant connection. You both had so much in common and he was just so nice. So you two did the most reasonable any six year old would do.

You both told your mother's you wanted to go over to someone's house. Y/M/N was delighted, she'd already known Bucky's mom and they were good friends. So of course she happily let you go to Bucky's house.

You and Bucky had played and laughed all day doing so many things you were both tired out by the end of the day. Your mother was in the kitchen talking to Winnie (Bucky's mom) and she saw the two of you curled up on the couch together sleeping.

She called Winnie over and they both chuckled to themselves and smiled. Your mom took a picture of the two of you with the small Polaroid camera she always carried around.

You pulled another picture out of the box and gasped.

"Bucky! Look this one was when we first started middle school."

"Oh god I remember that one." He said laughing so hard. You and Bucky looked a bit..odd to say the least. Puberty and all..

✨More Flashbacks✨

"Mom we're gonna be late!" You said as your mom and Bucky's mom were fixing you both up for the picture.

"Relax darling I just need one picture before you two leave for middle school."

"Fine." You sighed.

Bucky had wrapped an arm around your waist and you had side hugged him for the picture. The both of your smiling brightly.

"Doll look!" Bucky said, pulling out another picture. It was from when you and Bucky were in highschool.

"That was when we made lemon cake together right?"

"It was baby." Bucky said as he gave you a sweet kiss on the lips before you both looked at the picture again.

✨Flashback Galore✨

You had been sick all day, hence you didn't go to school. Bucky was worried about you since you hadn't told him you were staying home.

So as soon as the bell rang at school he ran out to the classroom and made his way to your house..only stopping for one little detour. When he found you in your room he was immediately relaxed, knowing it was just a common cold and nothing too serious.

"Hey sweetheart..how're you feeling?" He cooed.

"I'm feel kind of si-achoo! Sick, I'm feeling sick." You said

"Aw, sweetheart.. I know what'll make you feel better." He smirked

"What?" You said, smiling slightly. You really loved him with all your heart. You could clearly see he'd do anything for you.

"I went to the store and bought your favorite cake mix."

"OH MY GOD YOU BOUGHT LEMON CAKE!!!! BUCKY OH GOD I LOVE YOU" You practically pounced on Bucky and he recollected his footing before hugging you back.

"Well c'mon doll let's go make it. You can sit on the chair while you tell me how much sugar you want in it ok?"

"Hmm ok, hey Barnes?"

"Yeah?"

"Thank you."

"Of course dollface."

DP x DC: Ghost x Family

So, back on my cute romcom BS

So the premise. Dani, as Danny's speed grown clone, wasn't the most physically stable. Turns out, it's really hard to speed grow a clone, and even harder when ectoplasm is involved. There's not enough time for the structures to properly stabilize and that leaves the cellular structure pretty weak and prone to breaking down into goo. The ecto dejecto was just a temporary solution and other measures were needed

aka Dani had to essentially grow a body from scratch the old fashion way, so she's now physically her actual age minus a couple months

So Danny, at the age of 20, is the father of a 4 year old Dani and is trying to keep a low profile in Gotham. His and his daughter's existence is still illegal, and being the single father of a 4 year old ghost girl isn't exactly easy. Now Danny has to deal with the very real threat of CPS being called on him by a neighbor, and trying to get Dani into school without either of them having papers for their assumed identity of Danny and Dani Nightingale and money to by fake documents. He'd ask Tucker, but that requires braking radio silence and potentially putting a target on all three of their backs.

Danny, desperate, asks his neighbor Jason to pose as his significant other for a meeting. Jason agrees, but things escalated and frankly he's now emotionally invested and committing to the bit

So now he and Danny have legally been married for about 4 months according to the papers Babs made them. The fake ID, birth certificates, SSNs, and high school diploma for the Nightingales were simple enough for her to do, but man Jason is going to owe her a BIG favor for this.

They move in together, Dani goes to a good private school, Jason is effectively Danny's sugar daddy paying for a sizable chunk of all this, and they are committing to the loving married couple bit, which is hard to do when the new in-laws are detectives

The best part?

Danny has not figured out Jason is the Red Hood, and Jason doesn't know about the ghost stuff. The only one that does? Dani, and she is physically and mentally 4 and watching Jason and Danny fall in love

I've been watching SPY x FAMILY and just need the fake relationship/family turns into a real relationship/found family dynamic. Jason is basically Loid, Danny is pretty much Yor, Dani fills the role of Anya, and uncle Dick is Yuri, except he's doting on Dani.

Dick is a smart man, but I love the headcanon that Jason is his emotional blindspot. Jason? MY Littlewing? He couldn't possibly.

Here we go! Disclaimer: I'm not going to list every Office BL™ these are just the ones I've seen. Sorry if your fav is missing! Let's start with our lowest scorer that definitely sets the tone for the bottom of the barrel.

CHECK OUT - The veneer is tracing paper if not completely transparent. Fucking in the office. Yeah. That's an HR violation for sure. Thankfully your company is too small to have an HR department. But you're definitely getting fired by your boss who is also your boyfriend who you are also cheating on.

BED FRIEND - The veneer is only considered opaque because everyone else in the office is blind as hell. HR is pretty sure you two fucked in the office bathroom, but they have no proof so could only give you a warning.

LOVE MATE - Veneer is 1-ply. I mean, if the whole office ships it, is it truely an issue? HR thanks you for keeping things PG.

WE BEST LOVE: FIGHTING MR. 2ND - The veneer is definitely paper thin, but it's 2-ply. At least you avoided fucking in the office. Just a good smack in the face and some mutual sexual harassment. HR win...I guess.

HISTORY4: CLOSE TO YOU - Veneer is getting a little thicker, but depends on the light. Rooftop and in-office grandiose love confessions aside, HR thanks you for keeping your higher heat make out sessions off business hours. STEP BY STEP - The veneer is solid. Mainly office stuff happens in the office. HR approves of this boring as hell vibe. Still, you get marked down slightly because you did almost get down in the company parking garage.

CHERRY MAGIC - The veneer is a wholesome thickness, but no kissing in the company elevator. HR slap on the wrist for sure. We don't care how quickly the doors closed. There is CCTV in that elevator, sirs.

Friendless

After being pestered by Tim about not having any friends (Apparently: Bizarro, your brother's exes, family friends, your dad's friends/exes and your exes didn't count), Jason was determined to make a friend.

But it was extremely difficult since most of Gotham knew him as "Red Hood, the Crime lord" or "The reincarnation of Jason Todd" (Jason still didn't know how they came to the latter conclusion, idiots or geniuses?).

So he decided to look for someone who didn't know anything about Gotham or moved recently to the city but it was impossible to tell! Tired of his fruitless search, he ordered drinks at the new bar that opened recently.

And while he was drinking he met his first friend! (Or well, the first friend he had made on his own and without outside influences, fuck you Tim); Danny Nightingale was a strange boy, with a lot of resistance to alcohol and who had recently moved. Jason was 80% sure that he was a meta or another creature since he didn't show up in the photos.

But that didn't matter! It was time to show off to the family his new best friend! (And show them that he can make friends!) Not Steph, not Barbara, Danny. On the other hand, the halfa was quite confused but glad that the people of Gotham were so nice and friendly, Jason seemed like a nice person, and maybe it was time to widen his friendship circle beyond Sam & Tucker.
