honestly hearing that my shape language comes across as strong absolutely delights me. i'm much more into the designing and sketching parts of art so it's fun to hear that i get Vibes right sometimes :03
31. which fandom have you drawn the most for?
hard tie between ponies and homestuck. mlp sort of kickstarted my art in the digital direction, and homestuck was baby's first fandom i reallllly took part in.

33. have you taken a lot of classes for art?
not really! i took standard art classes offered in grade and highschool and attended less than a year of college in pursuit of an art degree.
...and then i realized college was kinda bullshit and dropped out. <- (this is awesome and i'm proud to be a college dropout and i'm not joking) BUT! i had *one* really cool professor who loved anime and had a fursona and they are massively the reason i didn't give up on art as a career.
i'm a strong believer in the internet having almost any class/tutorial/guide that you can think of for Free, so nowadays i'll watch youtube vids or look at free classes to try and hone my skillz
#also if college works for you then its not bullshit but my particular college extremely was and wasn't worth it at all#all of my savings for some old biggoted fart to brag about how she gave a student that got in a car crash a tardy?#no fucking thank you <3 i using youtube and online class services now and getting that shit for free or very cheap <3#also sorry on the topic of how bad my college was: my first GSA club meeting had a guest speaker who was an author#who introducted herself and OPENED with how they/them pronouns don't make sense and she won't use them#IMMEDIATELY followed by the five students in a ROW sitting next to her introducing themselves with they/them pronouns#anyways. anyways#sorry unrelated tangent but i needed to get that out somewhere#ask#anon#art ask game

11. do you listen to anything while drawing?
yes! usuallly a video essay or vinny vinesauce. the rimworld playthroughs have carried me through sooo many commissions
when i'm listening to music though it's a complete tossup. sometimes i'm listening to hyperpop. sometimes it's silly little music for silly little guys. sometimes it's smooth jazz. pop dj sets. indie rock. classical. ambient noise. i'm a general sounds enjoyer and really have very little preferences

3. your favorite piece(s)?
this is a rlly tough one!
it's been a long and treacherous journey to convince myself my art is ""good"" enough to have favorites. not in a woe is me way, just in a brainworms that convince me that liking my own work is self absorbed. this isn't true and i recommend these worms to no one.
regardless, my favorite recent piece is my icon! i love the thin lines and the colors and expression. i feel like i actually achieved the vibe i was going for with it. ^^ fuzzy nostalgia sortta thing..
i actually ended up going back and relining the hair completely/changing background elements after i finished it on the first go with a flatter, sharper hair style, because i felt like fluffier hair captured the whimsy a little better.
here's a lil speedpaint of it :03
honorable mention is this piece of my old dragon fursona, matcha, from 2020, though. i still think abt it from time to time
there's something about the... ruffs? ridges?? in the fabric on their tummy and neck that really sell the plush look. i'd really love to redraw this sometime
