Tea Time

The three of you are no stranger for tea time. You usually bring your favorite blends of tea, Crowley and Crewel are always very curious to see what you enjoy.

When you bring the tea, Crewel brings the snacks and Crowley prepares the tea. When he prepares the tea, it has a very strong and robust flavor. He's not shy about having strong tea!

Crewel always comments about how strong it is, but the flavor itself is quite amazing.

Crewel always makes sure to give you your favorite treats and snacks, he will even try to playfully feed them to you.

He also feeds Crowley while peppering him with soft compliments too. When Crewel feeds Crowley, you take the opportunity to kiss his cheek and even try to playfully banter with him.

Cuddles and Snuggles

Usually, you're the smallest spoon. Crewel is the one hugging you, pulling you close. Crowley is the one holding all of you.

You sit in the middle of them on the couch, and occasionally giving kisses to one another.

It's rare to relax in your house clothes with your loves, but you three always try to find the time to... at LEAST twice a week. Which is hardly enough for the three of them.

Crewel will often doze off on your shoulder, then quickly deny he was sleeping when he's stirred away by Crowley's soft murmurs to you.

Their touches are soft and sweet, they never want to leave your side.

Nicknames

Crowley calls you "My Dearest", and he calls Crewel "My Jewel".

Crewel finds it funny how he calls you his Dearest... but Crowley just gives him a word play name.

Crowley and you usually share a laugh, and assure Crewel he's more priceless than any diamond.

Crewel calls you "Beau", and he calls Crowley "Beloved".

"Beau... isn't that a popular dog's name?" You say.

"Hm... it is, but as you know... it's short for beautiful." Crewel smiles.

Crowley is happy to even get a pleasant nickname.

You want to call them by nicknames, but you usually only call them those in private. They love your voice, they love it when you say "Divus" and "Dire".

1. 🦈Tell us the name of your/ one of your WIP(s):

I technically have a handful of WIPs I haven't given up on posting but I'm not actively working on. Après la Pluie, le Beau Temps is the one I'm actively working on. I'm in the planning stages with All the Lonely People which is a fic I'm planning to cowrite with @cutestkilla my beloved. Then I have Sober, Water Grey, Close Your Eyes, and A Mild Case of Madness (yes I haven't given up on AMCOM I was actually thinking I'd try and finish it up after I'm done posting Après)

I don't actually work on more than one fic at a time but I also had like a flood of ideas once I was done writing Someone Wicked and that's why the pile of WIPs. Also I was trying to do discovery writing and realized that I hate it.

2. 🍄Describe your WIP/one of your WIP(s) in the format of “___ + ___ =___”

Why is this so hard???

Okay. Um.

Roommates who (pretend to) hate each other + alcohol induced vulnerability = publicly getting off with each other on a stranger's couch in the middle of a rager, probably to the dulcet sounds of goosebumps by travis scott.

3. 🌍What tags or warnings will one of your WIP(s) need if you intend to share it?

Amazingly my current WIP doesn't really require much bracing. But I am still intending very much to complete Sober (working title) which I talked a lot about last year. That would come with warnings for grief, alcohol and sexual assault. Which makes it sound so much worse than it is, but then again I always think that my writing isnt actually that sad but then i have people telling me i ripped their heart out of their chest and chewed on it so im not a good judge of that. i will say it definitely has more jokes than my usual fare.

4. 🧭An alternative title to one of your WIP(s)?

I am very decisive when it comes to titles, so I genuinely cant think of anything. I guess Sober, because I'm not sure that's the right title for the fic because it's not about addiction. It's about drunken hookups (and like, definitely some alcohol as a coping mechanism but like, mostly just uni students partying and going too hard as they are wont to do) so I was thinking of making it longer like "Kiss Me When You're Sober" but I dunno. It's not even close to done so I don't have to decide yet.

5. ⚠️Which WIP you're most likely to finish or update next?

Après la Pluie, le Beau Temps is the fic I'm actively working on and I'm going to post this guy next come hell or high water. It's just taking me a while, I'm a bit burnt out. But things they will come.

6. 💾What is your document of your WIP/ a WIP called? (not the stories actual title but what you’ve saved it as)

All my documents are the fic titles so nothing really fun there.

7. 🖍Post Any sentence(s) from your WIP.

“If you’re going to do this, do you actually trust him? After everything he’s done to you. Everything you’ve done to each other.” I sigh. “I don’t know.” All the things I’ve always believed I hated about him feel different now, filtered through a new lens. His relentlessness, his sharp edges, his poise. The way he moves across the pitch, and plays his violin, sweet-toned and sorrowful. The singe of his magick. “I just … see him,” I say quietly. “And I know I want him. The way I’m supposed to.”

8. ♻️A scrapped idea for your current WIP.

I don't know, I don't think I've scrapped any ideas for this WIP yet? Actually, I think earlier on in the planning I had wanted to have Niall and Dev being absolutely gross with their PDA through the whole thing, but I ended up writing a completely different side-story for them that's genuinely a ton better. Basically, they were a gag, and now they have an actual arc.

9. 🤔What’s a story you’d love to write but haven’t even started yet?

Gonna mirror Dre here, we have been planning a fic to cowrite but we both have other fanfic obligations to fulfill first, so it's a little bit on the backburner until we are both freed up. Again, to parrot her, it's a canonverse AU based on a movie we both adore, older (late 30's) strangers to lovers, a ghost story but in a cathartic way, not a scary way, developing relationship. We have a shared trello and I can't help but daydream about it. I am so very very eager to start working on it in earnest.

10. 🤡How many WIPS are you actively working on?

One, actively. Two if you count the fic with Dre which we occasionally can't help but get into long discussions about.

11. 🛠Is there a scene or anything in the WIP you are struggling with right now?

I am currently writing a genre I've never written before which has just been a little daunting. As well as this first chapter has zero simon or baz, probably, and THAT is hard too. But it has to be that way. For the setup. It just means I'm having to learn how to write a lot of side characters in a way I haven't done before, like Niamh and Niall (since i have a bit of experience with agatha and dev)

‘The paramedic would take her breath away, if the asthma hadn’t done it for her.’ Keyleth falls for Pike in a modern AU.

Reccer Says: Enjoyable and well written fic of Keyleth falling for Pike in a modern AU. Explores Keyleth as a character with anxiety and it's a great, gentle depiction of falling in love with great characterisation despite the rare pair.

Live your whole life on a might-have-been by Chrome (2,681 words, Teen) Pairing: Veth Brenatto/Caleb Widogast (Widobrave) Warnings: None

Just a very short and atmospheric peice set in a modern au where Caleb and Veth met at university, and he’s driving her part of the way home for the holidays.

Reccer Says: I can’t describe the feelings this fic gives me. It’s understated and bittersweet and so full of longing that you’ll want to die. It feels like a Hemingway story almost with the way it manages to pack so much meaning in between the words the characters actually say.

And I became hypnotized by freckles and bright eyes by SunshineAndaLittleFlour (1,007 words, Teen) Pairing: Mollymauk Tealeaf/Essek Thelyss/Caleb Widogast (Shadowidomauk) Warnings: Drunk kissing

Molly didn’t realize he probably shouldn’t be kissing someone else’s partner until after he’d already started doing it.

Reccer Says: This fic, this whole series in fact, is absolutely wonderful! Its fun, flirty and emotional as well as smutty and one of the best stories/series for the purple boys and their ginger partner. Always a delight to read and this fic starts an awesome series off wonderfully!

softly, softly by maricolous (837 words, Teen) Pairing: Fjord/Mollymauk Tealeaf (Fjolly) Warnings: None

Fjord comes home from his shitty retail job to Molly, his roommate-turned-partner. They make out about it.

Reccer Says: It’s very cute and sweet, with a side of what feels Fjolly-typical horniness. It’s a fun little fic!

if we were a movie by burningdarkfire (8,800 words, Teen) Pairing: Jester Lavorre/Beauregard Lionett (Beaujes) Warnings: None

Jester decides to try and set Caleb and Essek up and ropes Beau into it. Cue many “friend” double-dates, a classic disaster lesbian Beau crush, attempts at coping with it, delightful romcom nonsense, a fun side of Shadowgast, and a very sweet ending.

Reccer Says: It’s silly, it’s fun, it’s heartfelt. Everyone’s voices are so on-point and every moment Feels like them. Beau is a mess and I love her, I want to squish Jester in my hands, and the wizards are menaces of a side pairing. Also the conversation between Beau and Essek at the maid cafe is so good.

candy hearts (so sweet on you) by thaumasilva (5,149 words, General) Pairing: Jester Lavorre/Beauregard Lionett (Beaujes) Warnings: Creator Chose Not To Use Archive Warnings, Implied Stalking (not between Beaujes)

Beau keeps visiting the gift wrapping station at the mall to get her Winter’s Crest presents wrapped, and the cute tiefling working there keeps giving her candy hearts with flirty messages, or: Three times Beau wanted to ask Jester out, and the one time she didn’t have to.

Reccer Says: It's just a sweet as the name implies, aaaa it's so cute

Thank you so, so much for your wonderful words, my Darling ^^ ! They uplift me and bring me a special, heartwarming kind of joy <3. I just know that Dominic would absolutely adore you (as scary as that may sound hahaha) — your kindness is a cherished virtue, and I welcome it with an open heart 🫶

To answer your questions: I imagine Dominic to exist within the 35-45-year age range, but his age is entirely up to your interpretation. In regards to if his obsession has autism, Dominic would — as sad as it is to say — use it to his own ends.

For example, if you’re particularly tactile and display high sensitivity towards certain textures, sounds, colours, etc. he’ll incorporate said elements into environments outside of his own home (given that he can control it — like his workplace, for example) in order to try and distress you, to make you feel comfortable only within the confines of his house, which he will ensure is completely devoid of any of your triggers, to encourage you to visit him and stay more often.

Likewise, if his Beloved has little empathy, he’ll show you parts of himself few people have ever seen, gradually revealing his own lack of empathy (albeit, his is a result of something else entirely). Conversely, if his Beau has an excess of empathy, he’ll guilt them into spending more time with him, babysitting his sons more frequently, coming to help him with bits and bobs around the house, etc. If Dominic can find something to exploit, he will. No matter how unethical it is.

25. What was your first impression of this character? How about now?

2. Favorite thing: so much, but I particularly like how good and effective he is at herding the cats of the Mighty Nein. There are many reasons why they bonded so tightly, but a factor was that Fjord early on was insistent that they figure out ways to work together. You can tell how carefully his backstory was constructed; part of why Sabian and Vandran are such beloved figures despite almost no screentime is because you can get such a clear an outline of them from Fjord’s behaviors and discussions that is honestly more thorough than that of some fully introduced NPCs. Getting back to the original point, you can tell from early on that this is someone accustomed to team dynamics under pressure (ie, a sailor). In general, everything we learned about Fjord, as it was revealed, made me go “ohhhhhhh yeah that makes sense,” which is in my opinion the sign of incredibly skilled storytelling and character building.

3. This is tough; this is a character I truly love and I am always team “this person’s flaws are an important part and erasing them means you do not fucking get it," so like, I am in favor of his perfectionism and control issues and closed-off-ness and in case it's not clear from my Midst blogging and which characters I'm drawn to there, nor my enjoyment of Vex, a particular vibe of which he is one of the best examples. I also, admittedly, am defensive because while people watching C2 now without all the fandom discourse of C2 tend to enjoy him, he got done rather dirty by the fandom and was the recipient of basically every single thing I dislike that fandoms do (he is not alone; Keyleth got this with the added complication of rampant misogyny, and Veth got shades of this too, and all have similarly been received much better by people watching without fandom influence). So, for example, while I would love to have seen more of his backstory in-game, I am hesitant to say that because, well, ever notice how Caduceus was sidelined by the party and we didn't explore his past but Fjord avoided his backstory? Ever notice how Caleb's asshole behaviors are because of trauma but Fjord (grew up in a Dickensian orphanage, bullied over his race to the point of willing self-harm from a young age, betrayed, stabbed, and left to drown at which point he was forced into a warlock pact he didn't remember) is just an asshole? (I'm saying this as someone who very much likes Caduceus and Caleb, but this was blatant from the fandom, and pretty constant too.) So to be clear I think he has plenty of flaws, as a complex character, but I do not dislike those flaws as canonical aspects of him.

Anyway. The joke but also kind of true answer is, as Laura herself pointed out, why did he wait 7 entire years to propose to Jester.

25. I liked him from the start but Beau was actually my favorite in early C2! I liked the top table (and what faint impressions I had of Yasha) from the start, but Fjord had the Percy and Vex trait of "guy who can act normal in a social situation when no one else can" for the first stretch of the campaign, which meant he was high up there but didn't move up in my estimation until he started to reveal how civilizedly (not a real word, but vitally important as a modifier here for a number of reasons) unhinged and insecure he was.

“Shh…” Elrond gently cooed, pressing a kiss to your temple as you curled into his chest once you realized it was him who had a hold of you whilst he continued carrying you to your shared chambers.

“Where we…” Your words drifted off as sleep threatened to overtake you once more, “Goin?” You finally finished as you opened your eyes wide to try and keep them open in a desperate attempt to stay awake- but he was just so warm.

“You can sleep, my darling,” His words were so caring, the love in them like a warm blanket wafting over you. “I’m taking you up to our chambers,”

“What about the meeting?” You spoke soft as you rested your head in the crook of his neck. You recalled the introduction, a kind gentleman- a merchant if you recalled correctly, then as one of the guests followed his introduction with an opening discussion on trade routes all you could remember was feeling oh so sleepy.

“It ended my darling, it’s alright,” Elrond hushed you again, sleep overtaking you as you nodded.

You were practically always tired, never fully getting enough sleep at night so whenever your mind wasn’t properly stimulated or you were left alone to your own devices, you often napped.

There were so many instances where Elrond found you sleeping, it was now an expectation to see his beloved napping away in an armchair of the library, the sun hitting you just right to make you feel so so warm.

As he walked down the hall, Elrond couldn’t help but remember when you fell asleep in his study just yesterday.

The two of you were taking a break, having been through two meetings, walking the grounds to discuss possible architectural needs of the Imladris- he was surprised you didn’t excuse yourself to rest since you seemed so exhausted.

But moments like these, they were what he held closest to his heart.

Elrond started a small fire in the fireplace, bringing out a blanket from the cabinet and pulled out one of your favorite books.

You were curled up on his chest, the blanket overlaying the two of you as his fingers ran through your hair and along the back of your neck. He was reading out loud in a soft voice, and that combined with the warm blanket and the soothing sensations on your scalp, you were out in no time.

Elrond peered down from the pages of the novel, a soft smile covering his face as he carefully set the book down on the side table.

He couldn’t help but to gently press kisses to your forehead as he adjusted to wrapping both arms around you and resting his cheek on your head.

The two of you fell asleep together, this time you weren’t the only sleepy one.

my ideal modern day top cat reboot (not just tc and/or the gang serving as side characters in an ensemble cast in a hanna-barbera crossover cartoon) would be like,

tc and benny are the same as they always are (selfish hedonistic get-rich-quick schemer and his naive childhood bff enabler)

dibble is a private investigator (like he's always wanted to be) who is tc's other childhood friend (boyfriend) whose investigations somehow always end up intersecting with tc's schemes even when he's not actively investigating tc. i cant decide if i want him to stay human or not tho (dog dibble au my beloved miss u baby)

trans lesbian choo choo my beloved. weird and emotional, and constantly talks about her girlfriend lola glamour (theyre so t4t)

non-committal flirty serial monogamist gold digger fancy fancy, based on a mix of his cartoon personality and comic personality. like if fujiko mine were a catboy, who will sometimes betray the gang but they barely really hold it against him. tc doesnt, anyway

kitty glitter from top cat and the beverly hills cats can be recurring because i like her <3 to me shes so lupin-iii-sadgirl coded

lola glamour gets to appear now and then and gets to be so annoyingly sappy pda with choo choo. has a lot of mentions and cameos though cuz shes still a star and shes dating choo choo who adores her childhood best friend turned lover <3 <3 <3

dibbles ex-wife periodically shows up and tc hates her soooooo much which is ironic because theyre kind of parallels. foils. the same but different. i would emphasize them being so similar and in fact that she reminded him of tc is why he married her and she does not like that one bit. self indulgent but i really dont care <3

i think they should have two kids (fred and daniel, based on comic dibble's names) just because i think it'd be funny as fuck. am i making him even more like zenigata? sure but my justification is dibble is a little league coach and camp counselor which is stereotypically things dads do to connect with their kids :P

jazz and beau can be recurring antagonists with their own gang that being dark parallels to tc's gang. teehee.

trixie from the first movie can be a recurring character too but only if shes an irredeemable antagonist in jazz's gang. the rest of jazz's gang consists of pantera from top cat begins, rocky from the comics, and skratch gets to exist separate from spook.

i guess griswald could be recurring since he had two eps and in the comics there was a recurring antagonist who was a bulldog but i dont care enough about griswald to expand on that idea

- oh wait he can be the actual cop since dibble is a PI now. duh. he literally became a police dog in one ep so it works.

cop cat from the comics can be griswald's partner although i think he needs a better name than "cop cat" ... maybe fuse him with officer prowler so he gets a cooler name. idk

Thoughts on the apogee solstice so far:

1) I can’t wait to see the entirety of the legend of vox machina’s full story, then the mighty nein animated show, and then bells hells at some point. Cause I can just picture the day that this fucking scene gets animated and we get to see all these beloved characters together across campaigns and… shit. Vax showed up?! This is insane and so fucking beautiful and I so want to see everything fucking animated. The implications that this whole thing has, including with calamity. I’m just not over it. Years and years of story telling leading to this one moment where it all came together and all I can think of is the gold strings of faith on tlovm’s intro. Too much in one fucking episode.

2) wtf happens now?! Matt separated the party… and like wth happened to vax and kiki and beau and caleb? What the hell happened in general?

3) I’m still very much terrified of otahan thull. That was fucking insane. God, I’m going to enjoy when they finally get to end that woman😂

4) Imogen and Liliana fucking killed me with that natural one.

5) also, I’m so confused about what happened with the magic. Is it gone? Is Imogen going to have any powers now? I need answers.

6) I’m so ready for some angsty imodna to come my way because of the separation. Very much looking forward to seeing what that does to their relationship development.

7) it’s not even over yet. We’re still going and there’s so much shit left on my bingo 😂
