would my family approve of Jade Leech as a partner? I'm going to say... maybe?
as a person, they probably would. a person who is curious, focused, responsible, creative, resourceful, joking, clever, close with his family, musical, and likes some similar things to me? yeah, they'd approve of him!
but in terms of his... uh... questionably dangerous family background and possibly violent tendencies (though those tend to be not be actually carried out)? maybe not.
and the question of if the Leech family would approve of me... I'm not sure. we don't know a whole lot about them yet, so it's a little hard to say. I think they'd approve of me in terms of personality (similar to my family's opinion of Jade), and they may also approve of some of the ways I interact with the world. But there's a good chance they'd see me as too weak and vulnerable for their son
and with both sides, there's the question of what they'd think about us each having a partner who was a different species. whether they'd be against the issues that our relationship may have, with the long-term need for either distance and/or the consistent use of transformation potions by one or both of us. I don't know whether either side would approve or not approve?

oh, I'm SURE that Sebek would get cancelled before Cater. Sebek would probably get into an argument with someone online over something (Malleus' reputation? Human-Fae interactions? a book he read? I don't even know), and get cancelled for that. either that, or for spamming posts...
Cater - if he were to be cancelled - would probably get called out for something he liked unknowingly, or for posting something meant for one account on the wrong account. he seems pretty aware of his online presence, so I feel like whatever happened would have been a mistake
3. Who do you team up with in a 2v2 volleyball match? Which side wins? (Deuce, Jamil, and Jack)
OOH!! okay, there are pros and cons to each:
- Deuce is fast, both in reflexes and in running, and he always puts great effort into what he does. he can be a little clumsy, though, and isn't always the best at working together with others harmoniously.
- Jamil already does a team sport, and is quick, precise, and perceptive. however, we'd be facing off against Jack and Deuce - those two do work well together, and there's a possibility of Jamil's competitive nature - or, alternatively, his ingrained lowering of his abilities - proving to be a difficulty.
- Jack has the height that I lack, as well as a great deal of strength. and - like Jamil - he is also quite perceptive. he's not always the greatest at teamwork, either, though he does try.
I think I'd be most likely to team up with Jamil, mostly because I think the Track and Field boys would want to team up (and also because Jamil seems like he'd be a pretty good partner). Jack and Deuce would possibly win, depending on how well they are able to cooperate, and how well Jamil and I both play. it's a little bit of a toss up, though - it could honestly go either way!

A lot of people seemed to like the design I did for Sidon and Mipha's buff mama, so I thought I'd add some things about her, and her relationship with Dorephan!
🌊 Her name was Solaile, which both follows the musical naming schemes of the Zora royal family (Do re, Mi fa, So la, Si do) and also is similar to the name Soleil in French, meaning the sun.
🌊 Dorephan married into her family and originally came from an oceanic Zora clan. You cannot look at that man's shapes and tell me he was originally built for land, he looks like he'd take one step and fall over. The name Dorephan is also one he adopted upon marrying into the family.
🌊 Queen Solaile was fearless and had a spitfire attitude, facing issues head on and even throwing herself into danger if it meant protecting her people. Where Dorephan is careful and calculated, she was proactive (and maybe a bit reckless). They balanced each other out extremely well. Dorephan misses that sense of balance she brought, and became even more cautious after she passed - esp over Mipha and Sidon.

The sea god, your father, had a clear interest in your fate, and the other demigods couldn't help but feel the aura of power that surrounded you.
Your relationship with Percy Jackson, the already known hero and son of Poseidon, was a highlight. The two half-sibilings trained together, shared experiences, and supported each other in battles against monsters and other threats. The bond between them grew, consolidating a formidable partnership, feared by many enemies. Poseidon was more than pleased to see his two favorite children get along so well.
In the years that followed, Poseidon's presence in his daughter's life was constant. He guided you in training, sharing secrets of the seas and teaching you how to control your aquatic powers. As time passed, your abilities stood out among the rest. Poseidon's influence ensured that the instructors at camp also paid special attention to you, preparing you for even greater challenges. However, the constant gaze of the god of the sea also generated distrust among your fellow demigods, fueling rumors and jealousy.
Life at Camp Half-Blood wasn't easy. Monsters constantly threatened the perimeter, and quests were often assigned to the most skilled demigods. Poseidon, in turn, began to discreetly intervene in your life, providing help at crucial moments and ensuring you were one step ahead of impending dangers.
However, your relationship with the sea god was not just one of benefits. In dreams and visions, you began to receive cryptic messages and warnings from other gods and titans, warning you of the implications of being so close to Poseidon. A god can never be involved in his children's lives, well, the demigods children at least.
Tension between the gods grew as your bond with Poseidon deepened. Zeus, in particular, viewed the increasing influence his brother had over you with suspicion. The warnings from the other gods increased, and the shadows of destiny began to manifest themselves more clearly.
One night, during a vivid dream, Triton, the son of Poseidon with his wife and your half-brother, appeared before you. His eyes expressed concern as he warned of the consequences of ignoring divine warnings.
"Proximity to our father can bring blessings, but also curses," Triton said, his voice echoing like the waves of the sea.
Quests abroad became more dangerous, with more powerful monsters and mythological creatures challenging the demigods. Poseidon continued to intervene subtly, but now his help was under the scrutiny of the Olympian gods. Zeus, in his wrath, explicitly prohibited any divine intervention in your quests.
Once, during a battle against a colossal sea beast, you found yourself on the brink of defeat, your companions also injured. Desperate, you silently cried out for Poseidon's help. He responded, sending a furious wave to defeat the monster, but the price of this intervention was high. On Olympus, Zeus' anger became uncontrollable.
The situation reached a critical point when an oracle prophesied that the proximity between Poseidon and you would trigger a catastrophe that would affect not only the demigods, but the entire balance of the mythological world. The gods' prohibition on interfering in the lives of their children became an unbreakable decree.
Poseidon, however, didn't care one bit. You were his daughter and he would help you if he wanted.

“Hey Charles..what I posted to instagram was okay right?” You ask, looking up at him from your phone, admiring how he looked basking in the sun.
You two hadn’t put out anything official, especially since you hadn’t told anyone- well Pierre knew, and Kika…but that was different.
It was sometimes nice that Charles knew about what happened with you and Pierre, but there were moments that you knew he didn’t fully trust you, which was reasonable!
But you assured him many times you only wanted him, you were tired of being the other woman, tired of empty promises from Pierre, tired of being casted aside.
“Yes it was okay cheri..you don’t need to ask..” Charles says with a chuckle, glancing over at you from his spot.
“Half of the media speculates that we were together anyway..” He adds on.
“Yeah..that’s true” You say with a small chuckle. You continue to scroll through some of the comments, mainly focused on the hate ones.
Charles catches onto that quick, and yanks your phone from your hands. “No need to care what others think..” He says, placing your phone by his, far out of reach from you.
“But…” You start to say, although Charles has you stopping mid sentence with a single look.
“Let’s just relax, yeah? Nice beautiful day out on my yacht okay?” He says with a smile, wrapping an arm around you to pull you close to his side.
“Alright..” You mumble out, leaning your head on his shoulder as you two bask in the sun, the rocking of the boat slowly relaxing you.
“Yeah- yeah definitely..” You mumble out, heart racing a bit, you and Charles hadn’t really been intimate, sure you two have kissed but that was really all. You guys have only been together for maybe three months, and to be honest you were scared to do anything- after Pierre.
Mostly because with Pierre it was different, it felt great, amazing even- but it was wrong.
That was the issue, you felt guilty constantly.
“Are you still worried about Pierre?” Charles asks softly, his eyes meeting yours. You instantly feel like you’re on a different planet, his eyes are soothing and warm.
“You can tell me cheri…don’t be afraid….I’m here for you...” Charles adds as he squeezes your hand softly.
“I don’t know Charles…with him I felt so guilty, I felt like I was always the second option..”
“He’d say all these things, promise me he’d tell her and change- but he never did…”
“And I’m happy for him and Kika! I am, they are an amazing couple..but it still hurt, y’know?” You say softly, fidgeting with Charles fingers as you open up to him fully about that situation.
“I know Y/n…it’s understandable..” Charles says softly and wipes away the small tear from your cheek gently. “I will never make you feel like a second option.”
Charles smiles softly and caresses your cheek, it feels nice, it feels like he’s appreciating you for everything you have to offer.
“Thank you..” You whisper out softly with a smile, leaning into his hand.
But the tender moment is ruined- because of course it is. You can hear Charles phone vibrate with a call, and you’d only have one guess as to who it would be.
Charles lets out a sigh, moving away from you to grab his phone, “It’s Pierre..” He grumbles out, quickly answering it and getting up, starting to mutter some phrases in French to Pierre, none of it you could understand- but you did understand that it sounded heated.
After a few minutes the conversation starts to die down, but starts to get heated back up. You could tell Charles wasn’t having any of it.
“Leave us the fuck alone” Charles grumbles out then hangs up, quietly muttering a curse as he sits down next to you.
“What did he want..?” You ask out softly, sitting up. You were unsure what to say- or do. It all felt tense now.
“Don’t worry about it…it’s just Pierre being Pierre” Charles replies with a small sigh, looking out across the ocean and closing his eyes.
Charles looks over and smiles softly and the moment is back, the tension is gone and life is somewhat normal again.
“Alright…” You say with a soft smile, knowing it’s better to forget that, and move on from Pierre.

“What time do you think you’ll be back?” You ask Charles, pressing a kiss to his cheek as he puts on his coat.
“I’m not sure cheri…I’ll text you though” He says with a smile, placing a kiss to your lips as he leaves his apartment, going to do some sim work.
You smile to yourself, it was nice with Charles. He was sweet and considerate, it was really nice.
You decide to busy yourself with some extra work you had to get done. Clicking away and your computer you’re pulled out of your daze when you hear a knock at the apartment door.
“Coming!” You say, moving off the couch and to the door opening it.
“Didn’t Charles tell you to leave us alone?” You say as soon as you open the door and see Pierre.
Pierre looks at you with a smug smile, his hands in his pockets, and he leans against the wall. “Well this is awkward…me here, you home alone…” Pierre replies with a smirk, his voice was like butter but there was a hidden underneath.
“Listen you should leave Pierre- what happened between us is in the past..” You say with a sigh.
“You’re with Kika and I’m with Charles, just move on please” You add on.
“Is that so?” Pierre asks raising and eyebrow and he steps in closer to you to close the distance.
“But you know how it is…I have a habit that is hard to break of coming to you when I need a bit of…stress relief.” Pierre replies with a grin, his voice is sultry and you can’t help but get butterflies.
“What we had was regular..I liked it, it’s simpler with you” Pierre adds on with a grin.
