okay so. clap. thoughts after watching through the whole stream again, + some extra stuff that’s semi-related:

the code is specifically appealing to slimes love for flippa and willingness to do anything for her in order to keep codeflippa safe/alive. the code can, apparently, multiply at will, so the reasoning is unclear. my guess is maybe this multiplication is why it’s deteriorating and this is an attempt at survival? it knows the islanders will keep the eggs safe and alive, and it wishes to continue functioning, so it’s disguising itself as the eggs

note: above theory about the code does not fit with the fact that it directly attacks players. it could be that it only does so once it’s been found out, but then that doesn’t explain why it took so long for code!chayanne and tallulah to properly reveal themselves, because phil figured it out immediately. best guess there is they had some reason to sit through the entire dinner, though that reason is also unclear besides possibly just using it as a learning experience

from what i remember of juanaflippas mannerisms, codeflippa actually seems to have them pretty down? besides the spelling/writing obviously, i mean like body language. codeflippa was maybe a little Too bouncy but juana still loved to jump around. the only thing really wrong was the lack of backflipping but so far i don’t think we’ve seen any of the codes do any emotes. i don’t think they know how

and this is less related to the stream itself, but like. that’s 100% flippa in this freezer right. impossible to tell if it’s codeflippa or the real juanaflippa but…

(excuse how badly drawn over that is it’s just to give an idea of where she is)

i was talking with aviva about this on discord and e pointed out that this teaser picture has different lighting to the bow and carrot ones. red vs blue. no fucking clue what that could mean. possibly just that the flippa one is unrelated to these two? which is kinda weird because they all show freezers but. one shows an egg and the other two are just items, so i feel like this is maybe not hinting at more dead egg codes. especially since i have no clue who carrots could relate to in terms of eggs or inactive players

so my thought there is: if there’s gonna be another code version of a dead egg, we’ll proooobably get another image similar to the one with red lighting, not just an item. i imagine the item ones may just be teasing new members? though i could very well be proven wrong on that. because why would both an old egg and new players be in freezers like that…

AIEE I’m so happy u asked this!!!!!

Well, i really love a lot of ships, and i have a whole bunch of hcs!! like i hc most of the characters as aro/ace-spec like Aviva and Chris being aroace, and zach and Martin being ace-spec. I really REALLY love qprs. I want to gush about them 4 a bit Like my favorite would be Chrisviva, they're super sweet. like they have such a special connection 2 each other in the show also these screenshots

they're both pretty inventive and technical, (except chris is kinda more spur of the moment creative like when he used blades of grass to fix the little worm mobile) n i think like chris is like her cheerleader when she makes inventions lolz

the runner up 4 them is chriszach as a qpr. the way you described them as a qpr is like.. PERFECT. it encapsulated everything that i was feeling about them like if u remember my snow episode idea with bby tooth that was like the start of it like when he calls them wild ratts he separates chris from it and eventually stops saying "Wild Ratts" altogether and like slowly but surely stops using animals for his robots (like almost half of them dont even use the animals) bc he keeps having adventures with Chris and the others and sees that some things/people r worth changing for or something (i have a theory that he would turn good and Paisley is supposed to be his replacement but i'll write abt that later.). I like to think that if/when zach starts to help them out with their missions n stuff him n chris form sum kind of connection thats not romantic but like they care for each other and for each other's safety differently than they do for others n i think thats rlly sweet. I guess the best way I can explain their relationship is like "platonically down bad". As well as some scenes that (may) show that Zach does actually care 4 chris n the wk team. Super sorry if this is confusing I'll work on them a bit more!! other than that I dont rlly ship zach with anyone else

It’s about time for me to make an about me post, I guess. Putting everything under the cut because long post.

My name is Aviva.

I’m over 18 years old, but sometimes I can be pretty childish.

My pronouns are she/her. I’m ace as hell. My gender got lost in the mail.

I have autism, anxiety, ADHD, and sensory processing disorder for all of my senses.

I used to be on Amino before it got ruined by corporate greed. Then I deleted my account. If you recognize me from Amino, that’s cool.

I’m conflict avoidant. I don’t like getting into arguments. It’s upsetting.

Chris stumbled into the Tortuga. It hadn’t been a long walk, but he was just so exhausted. He rubbed the gauze Martin taped over the small bite wound on his neck; whatever had bit him barley broke his skin, but it itched like crazy. He gave a halfhearted explanation to Aviva and shuffled off to the bedroom he shared with Martin.

Despite his exhaustion, he was restless. Tossing and turning, dodging nightmares and a sudden, inexplicable fever. Somewhere around 3am, he leapt from his hammock and ran to the bathroom. Martin, whom Chris had accidentally kicked on his way out, was barley awake but cognitive enough to realize something was very amiss, followed his brother.

“What is it? What’s wrong?” Chris had a hand clamped over his mouth; he couldn’t speak. His entire body burned. His teeth felt like they were being ripped from his skull. Blood dribbled out of his mouth. “Chris?” The younger Kratt spat into the sink, two small cainines glistening among the blood.

“What the fuck?” Chris breathed, finally finding his voice. The expletive was echoed by Martin. Chris raised his head to look in the mirror. He still had teeth, sort of. His cainines were replaced with… Fangs? Two razor sharp fangs glistened in the dim bathroom light.

“Martin, what the hell bit me out there?”

Trey- Fun song! could definitely see this as a birthday song that the Mc could sing to him, again not the biggest fan of the innuendos in the song but I can easily adjust them to be more wholesome! good choice! might try and write that closer to his birthday though, oh well.

Ruggie- Such an interesting song! As I listened to it I could envision this song as Ruggie is overblotting. when I first read the second book I thought h was going to overblot from how magic he used to cause the stampede, and he was pretty upset that Leona was just giving up after all his hard work. Maybe an alternate universe where he overblots rather than Leona. Amazing choice and great ruggie vibes!

Also, the second song is very fun and also fitting, but I loved the first one so much that I immediately set up a draft for that... Both are wonderful though!

Jack- Cool rock song! I can see it fitting a specific asset of him, but the Jack we see is fairly chill and cold, but soft to those he has respect for. Also a tsundere. A good song, but not quite how I envision him but its pretty close.

went searching myself for some songs that would fit jack and looked up a bunch of montage songs. found one I liked; John Cafferty - Hearts On Fire. Thought it was pretty fitting with his strong moral compass and burning passion.

Azul- YES! this is wonderful! good song! shows how he worked hard to overcome those that mocked and hurt him before. I'm loving the song. I can see some sort of dream sequence where Azul sings this cause he's proud of how far he has come. Despite still struggling at times, he's brought justice to his bullies. Might write an animatic as he watches his bullys suffer. Heck yes!

The second song doesn't fit azul that well, too many innuendos and such demanding lyrics... nice try.

Jade- Somewhat unsettling song, definitely fits his mysterious and scary side, but it just doesn't hit quite right. I don't know how I could change it either to fit better. It's so close just missing something.

Now the second song is perfect, I would need to change quite a few of the lyrics to fit him better, but the mysterious but knowing lyrics and deep beat in the background are perfect for him! Don't know if I could write this as a story, might just end up as a simple parody. Great choice!

Rook- Wonderful song choice! love the hints to how hes hard to find and how he can seemingly appear out of nowhere. Could write an animatic-style song with him appearing and watching from afar. nice job!

Epel- Some of the lyrics fit him and his intense hatred for certain topics. Somewhat fitting but I don't really feel the vibes from the sing itself, I could make it work but I'll look at the other song first.

Oh MY GOSH, that second song is so perfect for Epel! how he hates the way Vil tries to reform him, how likes his country accent and lifestyle. Can definitely write a thing where he's screaming this, might get in trouble with Vil and Rook later but he doesn't care at that moment. HECK YA!

Idia- Hate to say that this song is perfect for his insecure and introverted personality but that's exactly what I'm saying. Could write this when he and the prefect are friends, or could just make it so he's just anxious about all kinds of stuff. OR a better idea is that he's singing to ortho, he can't live without ortho. perfect fit.

Sebek- Amazing song, no idea that it was by panic at the disco! but not really fitting for the Sebek I know, then again I don't really know him other than he's loud and obsesses loves malleus. Too upbeat of a song but loving the idea.

10. Which patterns keep popping up in your projects/characters?

Ex-assassins, I have an undying obsession with them.

17. How do you determine what mood each project has?

Songs. I uses songs and artists. I usually associate the mood of the project by relating it to an artist or a song. I associate Rebel with Hidden Citizens. Defenders with Neoni and AVIVA. The tune, beats, rhythm of the words just feels right for the story. Each of the songs have a different mood to them that fit the projects.

21. What are the most important facets of creating a character, to you?

For me it's the little things. Not little things like the freckle at the bottom of the left cheek, its more like at what time does the character get up and stuff like that. This is because I know really random facts about my closest friends but I always details like their birthdays (I am horrible at remembering b'days). Somehow tiny facts about them just makes you feel closer to them and these small facts can actually tell you a lot about the character.

Like how Skyler (Defenders WIP) doesn’t want to use magic to heal himself because he doesn’t think it's fair that his friends can’t do that and he can’t use magic to heal big wounds since chances of magical mutation is high.

Or how May-06 (Rebel WIP) absolutely hates the small strand of hair from her pixie cut keeps falling into her face.

Knowing these things about my characters just makes me feel closer to them and helps me feel like I know them better.

1898 Words; Dark Sirens AU

TW for death, drowning, blood, and description of a corpse

The ocean really was beautiful at night.

Erin kicked at the sand, eyes fixed on the waves. Moonlight glinted off of them, the point where they met the water just barely visible.

Yeah, this was nice. Nobody came out to the beach at night except for the occasional group of university students, leaving the whole place to Erin. The sea breeze, the gentle rush of the waves, the little critters that shared the beach with her late at night—

Erin sighed in contentment, arms spreading out to either side as she faced the waves. This was a great way to get away from crowds. Her mother would call it dangerous, but her mother didn’t understand how peaceful the beach was without anyone else there.

The wind whistled in her ears, soft and gentle and in harmony with the waves—

Erin stepped forwards. The waves looked so inviting.

The wind in her ears seemed softer, now, more like singing, lower in pitch even. But it was so beautiful. It sounded so right.

Erin giggled when the waves started lapping at her ankles, the sand soft between her toes. She couldn’t remember removing her shoes. It was so pleasant, thousands of soft little whispers urging her forwards. The sea breeze was cold on her arms. She couldn’t remember taking off her jacket.

Erin swayed slightly, letting the harmony wash over her like waves over sand. It was definitely singing she was hearing, now. And it was such lovely singing, washing away her stresses and problems. Erin closed her eyes, taking in the melody.

The waves were up to her waist, now, currents pushing and pulling at her legs.

Erin needed to go deeper. Further. She needed to be under the waves right now.

A few more steps and it was harder to stand, the push and pull of the waves threatening to knock Erin off her feet. She laughed, spreading her arms and letting herself fall forwards, into the soft embrace of the waves.

The water was so cold. She should really get out before she died of hypothermia or something.

She could hear the song much more clearly under the waves. It resonated with her, a building crescendo of the most wonderful melody smoothing her cares and worries like the tide lapping at the beach. A push and pull of harmonies clouding her mind.

Something was above her, now. Something big and dark and dangerous that was putting hands on Erin’s shoulders.

Erin opened her mouth—

Everything whited out.

In the darkness of the night, Martin surfaced, water dripping from his hair. His gills flared once before sealing, body switching to lungs as the air hit his face.

Huffing with effort, Martin hauled the corpse onto the shore, dragging it towards a more secluded spot. His tail lashed behind him, smoothing out the sand as he went.

Some sirens ate their meals underwater. Martin was not one of those. Sure, it’d feed some of the fauna, but it was harder to keep track of the bits. Martin could not afford to lose track of any bits. Every bit was essential.

Laying the body out on some rocks, Martin sat down and examined it. Soaked to the bone, just the way it should be. A little smaller than he’d like, but—

There weren’t exactly a whole lot of options for a world-traveling creature adventurer who came within range of populated areas once a month at most.

So yeah. Every bit was essential.

Martin tilted his head towards the sky. The moon was really pretty tonight, glinting off the waves and sand and rocks and giving everything an eerie sort of glow, especially to Martin’s night vision.

“Aviva’s prettier.” Martin chuckled, fins fluttering. He turned back to his kill.

That was enough sitting around enjoying the smell of salt in the air. There were only so many hours in a night, after all.

Martin placed a hand on the neck, the webbing between his fingers catching the moonlight as he lined up a claw. A quick slice down the neck and chest, and then Martin was digging his hands into the cut, tearing the body open.

Martin grinned. Oh yeah.

Time to dig in.

Drowned out by the sounds of the waves breaking and a siren eating away, Aviva cursed.

This wasn’t real. No. There was no way. This wasn’t—

But it was, wasn’t it? That was her boyfriend out on those rocks, eating the person he’d just murdered.

But Martin would never! He was so sweet and goofy and—

And he had claws and teeth designed to shear flesh and crunch bone, and a bewitching voice to boot. And she would know—Martin had willingly shown off his voice when he and Chris revealed themselves as sirens, even if they had been weirdly unsettled by the idea of bewitching the crew. Aviva paled at the realization. Martin was a sweetheart. But he was also a siren, and Aviva was pretty sure sirens ate people in the myths.

I guess the myths weren’t really myths afterall.

Oh god. Oh god.

She probably wasn’t even meant to see this. Aviva had been looking for Martin, to let him know he’d forgotten his creature pod when he went out on his late night swim—

But that had been on purpose, hadn’t it?

The sound of snapping bone grabbed Aviva’s attention again; she peered down from her little perch behind the rocks at Martin.

It was like a car accident. She just couldn’t look away. Her boyfriend was contentedly clicking and humming while digging into someone’s corpse, moonlight glinting in his eyes and blood darkening his hands and mouth, and Aviva couldn’t look away.

“Oh god.” She muttered.

Martin tensed, fins flared wide. He curled over the corpse, growl in his throat.

He’d heard her.

He’d heard her, and now Martin was looking around for the source of the noise, teeth bared and fins flared threateningly.

Aviva dropped back behind the rocks, heart pounding a goddamn symphony in her chest. Shit shit shit—

Fuck, why did Martin have to have such sharp hearing?

Hopefully, if Aviva was quiet enough—

“Who’s there?”

Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck—

And then the sounds of eating resumed.

Slowly, Aviva untensed, sighing softly in relief. She’d never thought the crunch of bone would be so relieving.

Okay. Okay. She’d be okay. She’d walk back to her buzz bike and return to the Tortuga, and—

Aviva couldn’t just ignore what she’d learned. She couldn’t just pretend her boyfriend wasn’t a murderer.

But what was she supposed to do? Aviva bumped her fist against her head. “Think, think, think—”

“Aviva!” Martin popped up over the rocks Aviva was hiding behind, “So it was you!”

Aviva’s scream was entirely justified. The fact that her first reaction was to grab a rock and throw it maybe less so.

Martin squeaked and fell backwards off the rock, the rock having beaned him directly in the chest.

Aviva winced. “Sorry!” But how had Martin—

Oh. Oh. He’d been eating quieter on purpose. No clicking, no humming. Aviva couldn’t believe she’d missed that. So much for being observant.

“I’m good!” Martin climbed back up the rock, fins fluttering. “But why are you out here anyway?”

He looked so happy to see her, fins aflutter and tail lashing.

He was also leaving behind bloody handprints, bits of red still around his mouth.

Aviva wasn’t entirely sure how to put the two images together. “You forgot your creature pod.” She said instead, grabbing the device in question from her pocket and holding it out.

“Oh yeah!” Martin said sheepishly. He reached to take it, only to stop and look at his hands. “I should probably go rinse these off first.” He turned to go do that—

“Martin,” Aviva cringed, “That’s someone’s blood.”

“Yeah?” Martin asked. “I don’t think you’d want blood on the creature pod.”

Aviva pinched the bridge of her nose. “No, that’s not what I meant.”

Martin tilted his head in confusion.

“I just—” Aviva grappled for the right way to approach this, “Is this what you do, when you go out for ‘late night swims’? Eat people?”

“Well, not on every swim,” Martin replied, voice taking on that cadence it had when he was explaining a cool creature fact. “Sometimes there’s nobody in the area, and I really only need to hunt once or twice a month.” He shrugged. “It’s just part of being a siren.”

Aviva resisted the urge to pound her head on the nearest rock. “Martin, you can’t possibly think eating people is right!”

“Sirens eat people,” Martin explained, “It’s a dietary requirement—it’s natural.”

Aviva bristled. “Natural doesn’t make it right!”

Martin flinched back, fins lying flat against his head. “Oh.” He muttered, staring at the ground. “So that’s how you see it.”

“Yeah,” Aviva hissed. “That’s how I see it.”

Was there any other way to see it, when Martin’s mouth and hands still had blood on them?

When there was a half-eaten corpse barely ten feet away, blood spilling out onto the rocks?

No. There wasn’t. It just—

It wasn’t right.

The silence stretched on, but for the crash of the waves and whistle of wind.

Martin frowned. “Is it wrong,” he started, “When the fox eats the hare?”

“What?” Aviva frowned.

“Is it wrong?” Martin repeated. “Is it wrong when the spider eats the fly? When the lion eats the zebra?” He fixed Aviva with a hard stare, “Do you see it as wrong when predator eats prey?”

“Of course not!” Aviva snapped, “That’s nature!”

“Yeah.” Martin nodded. “That’s nature. Predator eats prey. And predator eats predator. It’s sad, but it’s how nature works.” He inched a little closer to Aviva. “People eat plants and animals. Sirens,” he hissed through his teeth, “Do the same.”

Aviva pushed Martin’s hand away. “Martin, you just killed someone.”

“To eat!” Martin replied, “What part of this are you not getting?”

“The part where you think it’s perfectly fine to murder people!” Aviva shot back.

Martin threw his hands in the air. “Well I’m sorry my dietary requirements don’t line up with your ethics!” He took a breath, “It’s like you’re saying that it’s wrong for the fox to eat the hare because you like hares. You’re not making sense.”

Aviva stepped back. “I’m not making sense? You’re the one who eats people, Martin.” She crossed her arms. “How can I know you wouldn’t do the same to Koki or Jimmy?” How can I know that you wouldn’t eat me?

“Aviva,” Aviva rarely saw Martin look so horrified, “I would never. You, Koki, Jimmy—you’re family.” He frowned. “Not food.”

Aviva stepped forwards, idly noticing the way Martin leaned back. “And what makes—” She gestured towards the corpse, “—them different?”

Martin glanced back at his unfinished meal, then looked back to Aviva. “No bond.” He summarized. “Important, but not family.”

Aviva shrieked. “You stupid fish!” She opened her mouth to say more—

She couldn’t. Maneater or not, Martin was still Martin.

Aviva huffed, turning to head back to her buzz bike.

“Aviva—” Martin tentatively extended a bloody hand towards her.

“Save it.” Aviva said quietly. “I—” She sighed. “I need some space.” She needed to think. She didn’t particularly want to.

Martin withdrew his hand. “Okay.” He said softly.

Once Aviva had left, he returned to his meal.

It didn’t taste as good as before.

Hey Summer! Do you have any tips on writing Jewish characters?

I do! Keep in mind that I'm a conservative-jewish American teenage girl so my experiences are certainly not universal or all-encompassing for every Jew (since every experience is different) but this is basic stuff that should help.

Naming your character:

Traditionally, babies are named after dead relatives. If you want to look for names, you can add that in as a detail. Keep in mind that being named after a relative doesn't necessarily mean you take the exact name; I was named after my great grandmother, and our names just have the same first letters.

Many Jewish names are Hebrew or Yiddish. They might come from the Torah (Adam or Moshe or Sara or Leah). You can Google Israeli or Hebrew names and their meanings, but common ones are Miriam, Aviva, Aliza, Noah (Noa for a girl), Nathan (or Natan), Ezra.

Please do not give your Jewish character the last name "Goldstein". While the name certainly exists and is common enough, it's become enough of a stereotype.

Last names can be difficult to navigate. Many Jews changed their last names to sound less Jewish when they came to the US or during world war ll but typically you can look up common Jewish last names and find what you want from the list.

Different types of Jews:

There are a lot of different kinds of Jews. Typically, we're divided into three basic categories: orthodox, conservative, and reform.

Orthodox are the strictest. There’s different kinds of Orthodox Jews, with ultra-Orthodox, the Jews typically portrayed in media, with the long beards, top hats, etc, and there’s modern Orthodox, who are more modern and have newer style clothes, modern culture, etc. If you're planning on writing an Orthodox character, there are a lot of different sections within that. Ultra-Orthodox will marry other Orthodox people and likely have as many kids as possible. They're very strict and the women dont participate in much modern culture; I don't know much about modern orthodox or their day to day lives, so I'm not an accurate source of how one would portray them. I’d ask an actual Orthodox person for this!

Conservative people prefer old traditions, but are flexible. They are a range from going to synagogue every week to only going on important holidays. Conservative people tend to keep kosher but not all do, and they do shabbat but not all will keep it. There are conservative women rabbis, but this was more recent. They're pretty okay with women but some more old style Jews will not approve of bat mitzvahs and such.

Reform Jews are the most relaxed about the Torah and most laws. There are less who keep kosher, services are shorter, they're more accepting of women and other people, more likely to marry out of the religion.

Conservative and reform are more integrated with regular life, and so are modern orthodox do a degree. If you want more detail about any of these, you can ask!

There are different types of Jews outside of the level of observance as well! Jews can be Ashkenazi or Sephardic (which are the main ones I’ve seen) or other lineages (which are smaller but still important) including the Eastern, Ethiopian, and Yemenite communities as well as others! These depend on what place your ancsestors came from. Different lineages might have different ways of chanting Torah, preparing food, interpreting Torah and laws, or vague rules, but many people are a mixture of the two depending on what traditions they prefer and who their teacher/family is. Unless your character is religious, they probably won’t make a huge distinction.

Traditions and holidays:

All Jewish holidays begin and end at night.

This includes Shabbat, which begins Friday night and ends Saturday night. Shabbat is a relaxation day. More observant Jews will abstain from any work or spending money, and avoid technology, which includes phones, ovens, cars, and electricity. Orthodox typically will leave their lights on and cook their food before Shabbat begins. Conservative will vary in observance and might drive but not spend money or just light candles and ignore the rest. Reform usually don't worry about it beyond lighting candles and maybe going to synagogue, but again, it will vary.

Your Jewish character will most likely celebrate Yom Kippur and Rosh Hashanah, which take place during early autumn.

Yom Kippur: you go to synagogue for hours the morning after it begins. You fast (no food, water, gum, etc) from erev (the night of) Yom kippur and break the fast the following night. This is typically a fun party with friends. No work or school during this time, but some people let their kids go to school.

Rosh Hashanah: the Jewish new year! You skip work to go to synagogue the morning of, and you eat apples and honey and other sweet things to hope for a sweet coming year

Pesach (Passover) occurs around April or may and is an important holiday. It lasts eight days and no risen foods may be eaten during that time. The first night (and sometimes the second) there's a Seder with family and/or friends.

Hanukkah is not important but it's fun! Children like it because there's food and games

Yom Ha’atzmaut: Israeli Independence Day! Israelis obviously celebrate this more than American Jews, and celebrations differ; some don’t observe this at all, but a lot of synagogues hold a party or families will have Israeli foods for dinner. You don’t have to support Israel’s actions to eat the food.

Yom HaShoah: Holocaust remebrance day

There are a lot of other holidays during the year of varying importance! You can ask if you have questions!

Things to avoid:

I mentioned this before: don’t name your Jew [firstname] Goldstein. There are other good names for you to try!

Do not make your Jewish character: any sort of demon or demonic formed creature, unnaturally greedy or money-hoarding (there are levels to this one), oily/greasy, having a large nose, having horns or another trait associated with demons, a vampire (for drinking blood reasons), some sort of goblin, explicitly stated to be untrustworthy (especially in regards to business or banking), etc. If you’re worried that something might be iffy, you can ask!

Characters can be greedy without being stereotypical, and they can be ambitious just like anyone else. Jewish characters can definitely be villains, but there are degrees of what kind of villains they should be. Do they steal children? Are they slimy or manipulative? Do they have horns, red skin, or tails? Do they automatically hate Arabs or Palestinians?

These are the most prevalent stereotypes out there. You can ask if you have any more questions

Extra:

When a member of the community dies, the family might hold Shiva, which is a seven day period where the family is provided food, help, company from friends and the community. The family shouldn’t have to cook or work too hard while they’re in mourning; this is a somber occasion, but it’s a chance for the family to be reminded they’re not alone. People will have normal conversations and give the family their condolences. Typical foods brought are brisket, fruit, veggie platters, kugel, bagels, and other long-lasting, easy to prepare dishes.

Common Jewish foods include kugel (sweet or savory noodles in a dish), blintzes (similar to crepes), knishes (filled dough, like baked dumplings), latkes (fried potato pancakes), shakshuka (eggs cooked in tomato sauce), and others. A huge part of Jewish culture is the food, and there are different ones for most holidays!

Brisses or baby namings are affairs for the whole community! The parents invite their friends and hold a party and announce the baby’s name (and gender, sometimes, although these aren’t typically gender reveals).

Bar/bat/bnei mitzvot are important ceremonies. A 13 y/old boy (or 12.5-13 y/old girl) will read Torah first time and lead at least part of the service. They get their tallis, become a full member of the community (a Jewish adult), receive gifts from the community, and typically hold a luncheon after. The service is on Saturday morning, but many will have Friday night services as well, and an afterparty that Saturday night

What kinds of stupid things would Zach say when drugged up from his wisdom teeth surgery?

So many stupid things….I will answer this a few ways 😊. In general, I think Zach will be super honest and admitting many of his own anxieties, fears, and insecurities.

I want to clarify nothing here is to make fun of people who have wisdom teeth surgery. As someone who has has this surgery, I know I was saying some crazy stuff afterwards, that my mother still refuses to talk about, 🤣. So, I am using that as my basis for this answer.

I will also not be purposefully slurring his language as you all might imagine it would sound. I think you all can imagine that yourselves, and I will be putting “…” in for, pauses, and… dramatic effect.

You can find my long winded answer below 😁.

TW for surgery and mild nsfw material.

He would talk about the people he may have romantic feelings for, I typically see him with Gourmand, but I also know he is often shipped with Martin and Chris, so some examples might be:

“Chris has such a pretty face….it’s just so…so…so…PRETTY.” He starts crying, “I wish my face was that pretty, I wish I could kiss his pretty face and make my face pretty too! Then we could both be pretty together!”

“Gourmand reminds me of country fried steak, he has a crunchy exterior, but on the inside he is so warm and juicy… I MEAN KIND, he is so KIND on the inside…”

“Martin’s so fun to be around, he is so funny, he laughs so pretty… I want him to laugh with me as I fall asleep in his arms!”

Then he will admit things about the other Wild Kratts Crew members:

“Aviva’s a better inventor than me, she just, gets things…why can’t I get things, I wanna get things like she does, it’s not fair. I wanna be smart like her, too!!!! Do you think she might teach me to be smart like her if I’m good? I’ll be good, Mommy, I just wanna be like Aviva!”

“Koki scares me, I know I don’t talk to her much, but that is because she’s sooo scary! Don’t ask me why!!! I don’t know why…but she’s scary!!!! I think she could take over the world if she tried, what if she did…what would she do to me…Mommy!?!?! Mommy, help me! Protect me from Scary Koki!

“Jimmy’s a good pilot…he’s so much better than my Zachbots, I wish I could hire him to be my pilot. Do you think if I offer him a lifetime supply of pizza he’ll do it?”

And he will talk about his Zachbots.

“My Zachbots rock me to sleep and sing me lullabies every night.”

“My Zachbots and inventions are my children, I know I complain about them, but I really love them and I sing lullabies to them, too.”

Zach Singing groggily: “Hush little Zachbot don’t say a word, Daddy’s not gonna buy you a mocking bird…because if that mocking bird takes wing… daddy will pass out till next spring.”

“I want to program my Zachbots so they will be the next big boy band. They will dance and sing in perfect formation; they will be perfect.”

“I programed my Zachbots to shave my goatee into the perfect triangle shape… They also are programmed to shave the rest of by body hair anyway I want…”

“I have birthday parties for each Zachbot. They each have a different birthday.”
