#angry and upset at the world and all the consequences of your actions. but youre still you
Text
Despite everything, It's still you.
Or, maybe it's not. Because brothers don't do that. They're supposed to care and understand, and oh how you do not. Oh how you're just angry and on the wrong side of this war, and you're only willing to hurt. (The brother he knows is not one that is convinced all they do is wrong.)
Or, maybe it is, at least supposedly. Maybe it is still you, in there somewhere, because you backtrack so easily. You backtrack so easily on your actions the second you realize they're hurting the only person still willing to extend you an olive branch. (The only person still willing to love you like you are - because not even your father is willing to do that.)
Or, maybe it never has been. Maybe the real you died the first time you did. Maybe you've never been the same since, trying to piece together a person from broken and breaking pieces, and only succeeding in putting them back together wrong.
Maybe there is no you anymore. Maybe there's only a husk of someone so desperately hoping to become whole again by fixing this. The you that should be isn't the you that is, and yet, maybe in some regard, that is the you that should be. That is still you.
Maybe you are still you. Maybe you're not. Maybe you never were. Maybe so so many things.
And yet, one thing in this is not a maybe. Because despite everything - you or not - he'll still call you his brother. So, maybe you are still you, the good caring nice you. Maybe that person is still in there somewhere. Because if they weren't, you wouldn’t've panicked - you wouldn't have cared enough to save him, but you did. And maybe, maybe thats indicative it's still you.
Despite everything, It's still you - and maybe he can say that more confidently than you'd like. But it's right. It is.

I loved your writing! And I just loved the Vash isekai reverse, could you make a do knives too? How would he react to staying on earth and also some headcanons
lol I said I was gonna draw, you know, like a liar. I saw this and my brain said I must write- but!! thank you!! I'm glad you liked the Vash one!!
I mention trimax but there's no spoilers since I've never read it, just thoughts and analysis from twt. and so! this is stampede Knives I'm talking about!
also talk about the last episode of tristamp so spoilers for that!
•Knives is really confused when he first arrives on earth. and when you first met him he kinda??? just goes along with your flow because he really has no idea about what's going on.
•you're worried about this man, he looks dazed and confused and you don't know if he's been drugged or had a stroke or something cause he's also asking where he is. you ask if he needs to go to the hospital or has anyone you can call, but then he asks what planet this is when you really take a look at him.
•and it hits you that oh, this man looks a lot like Million Knives. you had been so caught up in worry that you just glossed over his appearance.
•Knives is waiting for you to answer and he notices that you've all of the sudden gone timid in body language, voice nervous when you answer 'Earth,' then ask for his name.
•your, what you hoped was just a delusional theory, is confirmed when he answers that his name is indeed Millions Knives.
•he's kinda amused seeing your eyes widen in fear, but he's also curious, is there a version of him here? or did life somehow prevail on earth and his name is known? why do you act like you know of him?
•you stumble over answering that, how's he gonna react that people read/watch a story that involves him for entertainment?
•and so you just vaguely say, "well, there's this story and you're in it, but like, you don't actually exist in the real world.."
•Knives just raises an eyebrow at that. that just gave him more questions. and so, he demands that you show him what you mean, and sure enough, that's himself he's looking at on your phone.
•ngl I'm a little torn on how Knives ends up living with you? I suppose it would be him being like, "human, show me how this world works" or something like that, and you're like "uh? okay? but where are you gonna stay?" and he just responds, "you'll be housing me."
a bit of a crack way to put it, but yeah, he just forces himself into your house because there's no way he's living out on the streets, and well, he has no fucking idea where to go so.. congratulations! you've got a roomie!🎉 (also, if you live in the city, the noises are lowkey overstimulating him)
anyways
•angry little man doesn't know what to do at first. there's no plants like him, there's no Vash, so, he can't exactly chase after that utopia for plants..
•but he is pretty upset seeing the state of the world and how a lot of people aren't really doing much or just don't care.
•kinda still wants to do that whole, killing humans thing, but there's almost 8 billion people here, and a bunch of militia and weaponry, and he doesn't really wanna deal that. plus if they bring out the nukes on him, Knives thinks that would just cause way more harm so, he decides to just try and enjoy the world Rem talked so much about.
•although, if he sees someone litter, he has to hold back on his murder rage. Knives has learned that his actions have consequences here, and again, he doesn't wanna deal with that. but! he does throw the litter back at them and chews their ass out.
•going into learning, Knives forces you to take him to a library, and later on, teach him how to use your laptop. but after that, he kinda refuses to ask for help with learning about Earth. Knives does catch on and thread how everything works and entertwines pretty quick though.
•he finds natural disasters very fascinating, however it makes him wonder why humans continue to live in places with reoccurring disasters. well, he doesn't actually care, neither the answer, it just makes him think of how humans continued to live on Gunsmoke despite the harsh environment. no matter what planet humans are annoyingly stubborn he supposes.
•it takes Knives a long time to actually warm up to you, and even longer to start exploring hobbies.
•you had gotten Knives a keyboard piano once. it's not that big and it doesn't sound as good as he wishes it could, but considering your small house and that money is an important thing, he'll make do with it. Knives never did say thanks or show you any appreciation, but he does play it often.
•Knives might even start getting into composing music with more instruments later on too. he found the composing side of YouTube after watching a lot of orchestra videos and he kinda got interested in composing with more than just a piano.
•he again, demands you take him to the library and he reads a lot about music theory and how to write his own music before trying it himself. Knives actually gets really good it and you joke saying he should upload his stuff to YouTube and Spotify. he just brushes it off(he won't admit he's happy that you like his work.)
•Knives is really fucking good at mobile and arcade rythym games. he saw you playing on your phone once and he kept watching until you asked if he wanted to try. it took a while, but he got the hang of it pretty quickly. (you're a bit jealous of just how quickly he got it lol)
•he doesn't play them often, especially early on, even though he starts to enjoy playing. some of the songs like faster paced ones kinda overwhelm him or bothers his ears.
•I didn't put this on the 'things that confuse him post' but, Knives doesn't understand objects like figurines, plushies, charms, stuff like that. what purpose do they serve? when you answer that you just like the character and wanted to show support for the show/game, Knives still doesn't understand. he thinks it's a waste of money</3
•he especially won't understand spending money on gacha games. Knives will make you budget yourself if you aren't already. he thinks it's a bigger waste of money, especially if it's a gacha where you just pull for cards, you can just save them onto your phone no?
congratulations! you're free of gacha addiction!/j (do not show him how people have spent thousands on gachas or how some have sent death threats over pulls)
•Knives keeps your house spotless. he refuses to live in a dirty house. but he won't do the dishes, your laundry or clean the toilet. those are your responsibilities and Knives makes you do them daily and weekly respectfully.
•I feel like, overtime once you two are together, Knives gets into cooking. now he doesn't really eat much, but he does enjoy the process (and he wants to make sure you're eating good)
•he forces you to hike with him or go to the park every week. he loves being out in nature and observing everything. sometimes when Knives comes across certain plants or animals, he'll make a little comment or bring up a fact he read about.
•loves when it rains, he finds it really soothing
•Knives tried to read trimax once, he got curious one day, but he couldn't finish it. it sent him into a panic attack. likewise, I don't think he could watch the last episode of tristamp, watching himself burn like that would freak him out a bit, whether he went through that or not yet.
•he gets into painting! it kinda started as him just sketching plants he finds in the wild to drawing landscapes. you gifted him paints one day he's been enjoying using them
•I think he'd like using gouache paint. he usually only draws close ups of plants and landscapes. Knives got a small kit and artbook, and he takes it with him when you two go out for your weekly walk.
•he has secretly drawn you once, but you didn't hear that from me-

🫧💗✨ Self- Love Needed! 🫧💗✨
hi beautes! 👋🏻♡ ̆̈ I want to share my opinion about self love this time, because yesterday I was feel lost and confused about myself. Having a great concern for your own happiness and well-being is a sign of self-love. Taking care of your needs and not compromising your wellbeing in order to appease others are key components of self-love. Not settling for less than what you deserve is a sign of self-love. Since we all have different ways of taking care of ourselves, self-love can mean different things to different people. Determining what self-love means to you personally is crucial to your mental well-being.
For the enchantment of self-love is something you make for yourself, not something that is thrust upon you, let me ask you to do this. Settle into a calm and serene area, prepare a cup of your favorite tea or coffee, and disconnect from all potential sources of distraction. This will assist you in taking the time and care that you need for yourself. You've already taken a step toward self-love by grounding yourself in this way and giving your all to whatever comes next.
I was really sad yesterday because I feel im not loved, im not worthy of anything and everything getting worst. But I relized I have to manage and controlling myself before myself controlling me, yes that sounds so pity to me but its real. To begin with its not necessary for pursuing radical individualism in order to love myself. It also means letting people love us even when we don't feel worthy of love. Because we tend to punish ourselves severely for not being perfect at loving ourselves, handling our emotions, understanding ourselves, praising ourselves, and feeling confident about ourselves, even when we do our best to do so. We will come to understand that we are never fighting this struggle alone if we allow people in. Then I Ask for assistance what I feel.
Yes, it might be challenging to love who you are. It takes severe consideration and focused action, especially because it's quite simple to give back into feelings of self-love that are accompanied by anxiety, bitterness and and even hatred. In light of this, loving yourself calls for a great deal of courage and strength because it necessitates being honest with oneself and taking a close look at your identity and values. Accepting your flaws, errors, and all of your incorrect turns and poor judgments requires you to embrace everything about you, without exception. This is what it means to love yourself.
You have a generally favorable self-perception when you love who you are. This does not imply that you always have a favorable self-image. That's not easy at all! Accepting yourself for who you are right now, flaws and all, is the definition of self-love. It entails prioritizing your physical, emotional, and mental well-being and accepting your feelings for who you are. And then I slowly love my self, and this 3 ways what I do when I feel unloved:
1. DO NOT LOCKED YOURSELF!!
"My advice to you is please don't ever sit in your room and lock yourself away because you don't think you're good enough" -Catherine Tate
When I was upset at teenage I always locked myself in my bedroom then I cried loud, I felt empty, unloved, angry and unworthy at all. And it really sucks, Please, go outside and see beautifull world! There is one thousand reason to smile, to be grateful for what you have, it is not by compring yourself to others but believed that everyone is so beautifull, learn how to love, look for what makes you happy. Go to coffeshop and read book it really make myself better and You so.
2. Belive in Yourself!
Darling, You glow differently, trust me. The key that opens the ignition and starts the car is similar to the belief we have in ourselves. Honestly, without it, we can't get very far. Thoughts, attitudes, and behaviors that aren't in line with our objectives prevent us from moving forward, no matter how hard we try. Consequently, we either fail to accomplish our goals or we intentionally harm ourselves along the way, sometimes in ways that are evident to us and sometimes completely hidden from us. When I belived myself I feel lived, I feel everything happens for reason and I have a purpose to do. So do you are love.
3. Celebrate Yourself!
The act of appreciating who you are right now—rather than who you hope to become or who you view yourself as—is known as self-celebration. It's about standing in your own strength right now, supporting and believing in yourself. And for any cause, at any time, wherever, you can celebrate who you are. This isn't egoistic.
You know what, I used to think that Im not worth it all to celebrate every accomplishment in my life, I think others have more bigger than mine. I relise its all wrong. I have to celebrate mine too.
For example, my birthday was last month, and many people think it's ridiculous that I still celebrate in my life. Do you truly mean it when you say "it's just another day" or "presents aren't important" or "I'd rather forget it's my birthday"? No matter how strongly you believe their truth, it's your birthday, and let's be honest, everyone wants to feel recognized, even if only in modest ways. My birthday has always been a major deal for me, since I can remember, and I look for every reason to celebrate it during the entire month, as well as inviting my beloved best buddies. So there is a picture of mine when I celebrate myself. Lets celebrate ourself!!!!, xo -Risnabeautes

Gen x and millennials, gen z isn’t making fun of you or bullying you the way you think they are because gen z doesn’t actually care about what outward self expression means or looks like to you. Gen z is criticizing you for your lack of accountability and continuous bad behavioral patterns and choices. Gen z knows what it looks like to heal and see healing happened the same way we know what it looks to see bad choices and bad behaviors continue to ruin everything for everyone including the person exuding them.
Gen x your children dislike you and don’t want to speak to you because you choose not to see the fault in your actions, you choose not to take accountability for your short comings, you completely invalidate your children and carry with you an inflated sense of self importance and entitlement, you lack self awareness, you don’t know how to apologize, you can’t fathom the concept of making room for people where people rightfully deserve to stand. You whole heartedly believe the entire world revolves around you and if you don’t feel you’re being compensated for your hardship that everyone else deserves to receive your internalized resentment and nobody else is allowed to have issues or have opinions, lifestyles, belief systems, or morals that conflict your own. You’ve ruined your children. You’ve caused generations of continued abuse, conflict and unconventional dynamics and behavior. You’re constantly criticizing your children and antagonizing them instead of supporting them and honoring them. You victimize yourself constantly. You continuously complain about the things you had to experience growing up and the social climate you grew up in whilst you sit around and project all your trauma and anxiety and anger onto your children.
Millennials, your children can’t read and those who fall into gen z (including some of your younger siblings) are quite literally watching you become a mirrored image of your parents, are watching you complain about what it was like to grow up and not get your needs met and make the same choices that your parents made and/or have children of your own and fuck them up just like your parents fucked you up because for some reason you continue to carry with you your trauma and the consequences of what happens to someone with unmet needs on such a large scale. You won’t heal and when you’re asked to heal you become upset, defensive. You carry with you the same notion your parents squashed you with that says that because you’re younger or because you haven’t experienced life the way they have that you’re unable to make decisions, that your opinion, and your needs don’t matter and you project it onto Gen z and Gen alpha. You can’t fathom that your children deserve your time and that you can’t get rid of them or make them less of an “inconvenience” to you by giving them tablets and cell phones. You can’t fathom that you’re not a genuine parent but that you’re just merely someone’s biological mother or father. Your children have behavioral issues, they bite peoples ankles, they can’t read, and they have extremely delayed social skills because you don’t spend enough time with them, you don’t parent them or nurture them bc you just yell at them for being children or needing a parent like your parents yelled at you. When you’re told your children need help and need you to be a parent you become angry, you ignore criticisms or you go on tangents about how parenting is hard and how nobody understands or cares about you and your needs or what hurts your feelings as a fully fledged and functioning adult who is responsible for yourself. You have substance abuse issues and some of you are alcoholics. Vast majority of you are walking around with undiagnosed mental illnesses and/or anxiety disorders just like your parents and making everyone around you have a hard time.

this might not be a popular opinion and i mean it with the least amount of disrespect possible, to the families of the deceased: it's okay to recognize that the oceangate situation is sad. i wish we lived in a world where people didnt die as a consequence of their actions, but sometimes that happens. if you get on a shoddily built roller coaster chasing adrenaline, or you go spelunking and get stuck in a cave trying to chart a new cave system, or you choose to eat food that has possibly gone bad and risk it. sometimes the high risk/high reward situations pay off, and sometimes we're left here - angry at a company for allowing the situation to even be an option and angry at the people who lost their lives chasing a very slim high reward.
it's also okay to recognize that it's a sad situation and still not feel sad or upset by the news. was it something they deserved? no. was it something anyone deserved? no. but was it something that could be reasonably be expected from the choices they made? unfortunately yeah. choosing to spend their money on an "experimentally designed" submersible craft, choosing to sign a waiver that basically almost guarantees bad things are going to happen when walked through the fine print, and then actually getting into the craft after being given a tour of it were all choices those people made. and it turns out the perceived reward of seeing the titanic wreck in person wasn't worth it, because they lost their lives.
but when you think of the situation: person has 250k to spend on a tourist attraction. person has a decision to make: go for the high risk but possible high reward option, or go with the option that will guarantee you get home safe after your expedition? in this case the person(s) chose the high risk but possible high reward option. when they made the choice to pick the high risk they understood the risks. they signed the waiver and they talked to the CEO and they talked to people who'd been on the craft before. they were willing to risk death to tour that shipwreck.
and to those of you who are heartbroken over the 19yo who was on board: it's objectively sad that a promising business student lost his life (presumably) trying to bond with his dad. can we spend time mourning his trust in his dad to keep him safe? yeah. but should we sit here and continually say "he was just a baby! he's a kid! he doesnt know better!" he was a business student who lived in a separate city (if not country) from his dad. he was an adult person, able to drink, drive a car, vote, fight for his country - the whole nine. it's so incredibly disrespectful to place the blame of his death entirely on his father's shoulders as if he didn't also understand the risks. i know that the prefrontal cortex isn't fully formed until a person is 25, but he had some ability to make choices and he unfortunately made the wrong one. he's a grown man who made a wrong / ill-informed choice just like his dad and the other men on the craft.
i dont understand how you can sit there and be completely heartbroken when these men talked with people who'd been on the craft before, they'd signed the waivers, they'd been somewhat informed (not to the extent they should've been and that blame sits squarely on the shoulders of the next CEO of oceangate) that the craft was "experimental" in nature and not up to par with other submersibles in the same field. presumably these men were experienced divers and had spent time in submarines. they knew some of the red flags when they'd seen them right off, and others were more hidden from them. example: a boat taking the craft out to the drop site. it's my understanding that submersibles usually leave ports because of inspection laws. the men aboard the ship would've noticed the change in protocol. they would've noticed and they chose not to care, or chose to focus on the possibility of the high reward.
while it's objectively sad that this happened, it's okay to not feel actually sad over this. the people on the craft knew it was an option from the get-go, and remember they'd weighed the risks and the rewards and they'd decided with their grown ass adult brains that the slim possibility of the reward would be worth risking their lives for. it's sad. but when it boils down to it, they made a wrong choice; they played a stupid ass game and won the worst prize of all.

Ive seen your old post about Cass and Catra's redemption arcs, and, if it's still relevant
https://www.tumblr.com/moltenhair/623629680406298624/i-like-all-your-posts-on-cassandras-redemption
Can I ask you what you think makes Catra's redemption arc better than Cassandra's one? Except the time they had
God. I've tried so much to distance myself from these old posts, yet they continue to haunt me like my personal ghost of Christmas past lol
But since you asked, may this be my final word on the terrible writing that was Cassandras villain/redemptionarc!
A lot of factors make Catra's redemption better for me. I say for me because this is all my personal interpretation that not everyone is going to agree with. That said: Catra TRIED. Catra made an actual effort and worked for her redemption. She struggled, she clawed her way up from rock bottom (which she hit as a consequence of her own actions and was rightfully called out for to her face) and MADE THE CHOICE to be better. It wasn't a case of "I've been stopped from being the big villain, so I guess I have no choice but to side with the hero to survive." We were allowed to see several episodes of her regretting her choices, second guessing, fearing for the safety of others and ultimately sacrificing herself for others because she knew she had done wrong and didn't see herself deserving of being saved.
Then, after she was ultimately saved, she continued to choose to improve herself and stop the behaviors that were hurting her and the people around her. She actually says the line, "I know I can get angry. It's something I'm working on" in one scene, which is pivotal in her transition to awkward former rival to genuine part of the friend group. She has to deal with people being upset with her actions and not being immediately welcoming. She has to own up on several occasions to what she did because saying sorry to just adora didn't fix it all. She didn't ONLY hurt Adora.
Catra fought and worked to EARN back the forgiveness and trust of the people she had hurt and betrayed over the course of the show.
Cass EXPECTED forgiveness the one time she tried (while pretending to be someone else and not taking ownership of her actions AT ALL) and then only apologized in the final episode after NEARLY DESTROYING THE ENTIRE WORLD HERSELF. which she only didn't succeed in because the bigger bad guy stopped her. Cass was gleefully about to kill all the people she once called friends and 100% thought she was justified in doing it until the very last second in the last episode. She didn't show enough remorse to make it believable, she didn't take ownership, she didn't have to face the reality of her actions and she didn't even make an effort to change. She cried over LOSING and was forgiven on the spot because Rapunzel never held her accountable for anything she'd done.
By that logic, Cassandra was never redeemed in the modern sense of the word because it was GIVEN to her. Redemption in modern media is a conscious choice to change and be better, not the Old Testament version where you're just "saved" from damnation because you said you're sorry. The world today doesn't work like that, and our stories shouldn't either. Actions have consequences, and if you want to be forgiven and genuinely change, YOU have to make that effort, and it has to be YOUR choice. Otherwise, you didn't actually change. You just gave up.

It is so valid for MC to be angry with Milo. But I’m interested to see how Milo responds to an MC who is just. So, so beside themselves hurt and heartbroken about the situation. Especially if they’re romancing him. There have been so SO many instances of MC asking for help, even if it’s just moral support…hell even TELLING Milo “this is scary, I am scared, I want to help but I can’t do it alone” (which like…. Hello, their entire relationship and dilemma as the _ and _ in one sentence) and Milo let them suffer, felt bad, tried to comfort them but kept hurting them by intentionally withholding info. It’s clear MC trusts (or trusted) him and he continuously betrayed that trust all the while being sweet and lovey-dovey and even intimate with them in some cases (and more than once!!) An MC who is reliant on others, is so vulnerable, is so understanding and compassionate towards him in the story and even though they’re NOT doing great themselves still tries so hard to help Milo. Oh. 😭And an MC who tried to tell them they LOVED him??? And he knew??? The first person MC loved like THAT??? OH my heart breaks when I think about it too much. I want to make Milo feel like absolute shit but not by berating or anything, just simply him seeing how his actions have consequences, and yes they’re literally affecting everyone, but mostly MC in the sense that they weren’t just betrayed by their (insert title here) but by someone who got close to them and made them fall in love with him. First the denial and then the desperate pitiful “why???” Devastating. The hopeless despair of someone you love and think is in your corner hurting you so SO intentionally. Knife to the heart.
I think Milo expects anger and venom from MC. I think that he’s steeled himself for that and a response he’s most used to when he fucks up (even beginning from his childhood) , but that clear utter devastation from MC- Not anger, just raw pain and upset. Just wanting to know why. Being such a mess they can barely speak. The desperation of “if you give me a good enough reason I can forgive you,I want to forgive you please tell me this suffering has meaning because it has to because I love you”. allowing him to see the damage he’s brought not just to the world in general but to this person he claims to care for and “want to save” will truly throw him.
Milo would love nothing more than to be greeted with anger. It makes it easier. He can be the villain and that is who he has resigned himself to be. And I think he very well could fall into that category at moments. No matter his intentions, he did choose not to tell the MC what was happening.
There is the opportunity to be hurt in the next chapter. To ask him to his face if any of this meant anything to him. I think what can be seen about Milo after this game, is he is a man that does stick to his beliefs and his convictions. But that does not always mean he likes what he has to do.
I am very much setting up a juxtaposition between our two known Gatekeepers and how they handle the market itself. This will give the MC a lot more opportunity to kind of decide which route to take in the future, knowing more than one bit of information. But as for the romance with Milo? It's going to be hard. I think there is trust broken. I think there are things at play that make this all incredibly difficult, and I do not believe Milo is a man who has the proper tools to navigate something so heavy with grace.
I think most people will either come out wanting to try further with Milo in book 2, or wanting nothing to do with him.

Sanders sides theory: Logan's eyes turning orange when he got angry was a misdirection and orange is actually guilt/shame/embarrasment
Allow me to explain:
Thomas posted a picture on his insta story from a ted talk and said he was "doing research" and fanders found out what it was about.
The ted talk was about how vulnerability and weakness are not the same, we are taught that being open about how you feel is something to be embarrassed about and that guilt is natural but shame is not.
What is the one consistent emotion thomas has felt talking to nico other than love or joy? What feeling do you think Roman gets whenever patton points out his poor thinking? Why didnt thomas just talk to lee and mary lee about the wedding? What's the main symptom of constant low self esteem (something Logan said thomas struggles with all the time)? Why do the sides struggle to admit their flaws and talk about their feelings? How does thomas feel when he asks himself if he's truly a good person? Embarrassed, Humiliated, guilty, ashamed.
Now how do you feel when you are ashamed or guilty? Do you feel like the whole world is watching you, almost like a giant pair of glowing eyes are watching your back? Hell, even in the great gatsby the eyes on a billboard are meant to represent the eyes of god watching down on everyone.
Thomas himself has said hes a religious man and its clear that shame he felt for remus's thoughts permanently seperated the parts of his imagination.
But how could this possibly tie into logan screaming at remus? If the orange side isn't wrath why did he even show up when Logan got angry? Well hear me out, it wasn't the anger that made him show up.
It was logan's shame at the anger that did.
Logan has consistently shown he prides himself on being calm ans collected compared to everyone else, he is logic, he is reasonable, and he is meant to be taken seriously.
So if you were Logan and you found yourself being so upset that you have an out of control out burst from something as petty as not being given any attention, as if you were some crying child on an airplane who needed to be coddled. ESPECIALLY from remus, the side who literally thrives from attention and can only be beaten by being ignored and absolutely no one would ever take seriously, how would you feel? I reckon you'd feel pretty ashamed of yourself.
Heck, what is the common ground between intrusive thoughts, anxiety and self preservation? shame.
Virgil is afraid of the humiliation you could experience from any number of horrifying social faux pas you could do and remus's intrusive thoughts are a huge cause of thomas's guilt.
Now this is all great but if Orange really is shame then what greater function could he serve to thomas? All the sides have good in them, even remus, logan even says that at one point.
I believe orange would be there to show that Thomas's action have consequences, if there was no guilt or shame imagine how well Patton's morality would work.
Would thomas even want to apologize anymore? Would he even care to stop somebody like remus? You can teach some one as many morals as you want but if you don't have a reason to have them then they won't work.
Heck, what was the episode we got the secret hello message? The episode all about feeling bad when you don't put others first!
I imagine the season finale will finally confront thomas's guilt and low self image and all the sides will finally come clean about how awful they truly feel causing orange to show up, then when orange shows up we can properly explore two very important things.
1. When properly and fairly holding yourself accountable ends and hating yourself begins.
2. What really happened when remus and roman became distinct identities (i'm not saying king creativity is cannon, i'm just saying it would be an exploration of what ever happened when remus was sent away.).
Hell, if the spit was a real thing that really happened and orange is guilt than its fairly reasonable to assume HE caused the split, not patton or Logan like most people think.
Remember the old hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil theory?! Well you know what pose people usually strike when they're embarrassed or humiliated, they cover their eyes in shame and wince at the thought of seeing their own cringey bullshit.
It's literally perfect.
I could always be wrong though of course, but i do think this is a relatively sound theory with some evidence on it.
As much as i love the idea of wrath/greed orange, guilt orange would be such an interesting character, but more importantly, imagine the fucking angsty uwu soft boiness we will get.
But thats just a theory, a sanders sides theory! Annd cut.

DL OC Contest Entry: Fujimoto Kayo (Nemesis)
Theme: New Moon
Tumblr media
"Pleasure to work with you."
Character Role: love interest, NG+ protagonist
Set between Dark Fate and Lost Eden, a contract killer, originally trained in demon hunting, transfers to Ryotei Academy.
In the prologue, Yui meets Kayo, a girl seemingly kind yet mysterious all the same, who offers to kill any vampire of her choice, with the only payment being her next victim’s eye.
She is the main love interest, and her route is spent both bonding with her and attempting to convince her to leave the Sakamakis alone. Her route may end in her killing all the demons attending Ryotei (Bad End), peacefully leaving the school (Normal End), or running away with Yui altogether and later getting killed by Karlheinz (Good End?).
After finishing her route, she becomes playable as the main character, with largely the same premise, though instead of offering her services directly to Yui, she decides to get closer to the vampires themselves, earning their affection.
Despite seemingly being able to make choices to raise the affection of her chosen vampire to get different endings, all routes end in her killing them with no remorse, taking their eye and bringing Yui back to Seiji.
(It seems that the only good end is to never let her be loved.)

Biography
Alias ; Nemesis
Age ; 18
Race ; Human
Gender ; Female
Height ; 170cm
Weight ; 60kg
Occupation ; Contract killer, third year highschool student
Background
"on a moonless night, find the girl who sits by herself under the wisteria. tell her who you wish was gone from this world, and leave the payment on the night of a full moon. never speak of your dealings, never say what she looks like, or you may just be her next target."
Kayo was a child trained in demon hunting from a young age. Not very interested in the church’s fanaticism over cleansing the demon world and whatnot, she leaves the church at age thirteen and uses the skills she learned growing up to become a hitman, constantly changing names and locations, always known to finish her job swiftly and efficiently despite her young age.
Her name now is but another alias, though she’s consistently gone by the moniker Nemesis to those who attempt to contact her.
However, at one point, she was contacted by a priest named Seiji, desperate to take back the daughter he lost to a mysterious family of vampires. She didn’t really care to listen to his sob story, but she was very interested in the amount of cash he was offering. At first believing that his daughter, Yui, was taken by Tougo Sakamaki himself, he sends Kayo to kill him.
However, upon reaching him, Tougo reveals his identity as Karlheinz, King of the Vampires, and he swiftly defeats Kayo whilst only raising one hand. As a punishment, he rips her eye out, though he strangely advises her that going after his sons would probably yield better results.
Kayo, upset by the blow to her ego and angry at the loss of her eye, a direct hindrance to her work, vows to take revenge. She begrudgingly decides to follow Karlheinz’ advice and go after his sons, finding out they study at Ryotei Academy. With Seiji’s sponsorship, she transfers to the academy as a third year, planning to both kill whoever has Yui captive as per her deal with Seiji, and to take their eye as a trophy and as a replacement to her own.
Extra/Trivia
this is komori kayo's original concept plus some tweaks^^ i have been finding an opportunity to not let it rot
her last name, fujimoto (藤本) was chosen as a reference to wisteria (藤 fuji), which is poisonous despite its beauty
her main inspiration is the goddess nemesis, god of fair retribution. unfortunately this also applies to her own story, meaning that even she can't run away from the consequences of her actions
she's also inspired by tatsuya sudou from persona 2: eternal punishment--mainly just the contract killer stuff :D

Also, also wanna talk about this part before I get to the rest of chapter 6: [But then her smile faltered as she looked back down at their hands. “The Consil is upset with me, isn’t he?”]
It’s interesting that so asks Wilbur, like it’s obvious because he’s his father’s son, he knows how to read the man. But it once again shows that everyone thinks Wilbur knows more than he does. Niki thinks that he’ll know it if his father was upset at her. She assumes Wilbur knows everything. She assumes Phil tells him everything.
At the same time, it’s a stark contrast to the guts and certainty with which she stood her ground. It kinda makes it feel like that was an impulse decision. In the heat of the moment and faced with his criticism, she did not back down. It’s a thing a lot of people naturally do to defend themselves. And it’s fair, the first time she stopped him because he was already cutting her off without hearing the whole thing. Before she even got her chance. And the second time was after he disagreed with her.
Since, she had had the time to think over her actions and words (and more importantly, Phil’s reaction). You can tell she does this a lot. It’s the way she lives her life. Every action needs to carefully be taken apart to discover the consequences. Every move she makes needs to be calculated. And everyone needs to like her. Especially the Consul, who has more say over how will get the crown than all but one other person in the kingdom.
And now that overanalysing and worry in combination with the feeling of losing has been stewing for a few hours. And she’s worried out of her mind. Wilbur is quick to wave the worries away (he knows what his father looks like when actually upset, he’s been reminded of that recently). But it’s also his gut reaction to deny that his father is angry without really thinking about it.
I wonder if this is another test. If it was, Wilbur failed again. Niki does not seem to be convinced or put at ease. Maybe she thinks Wilbur is defending his father. Maybe she is just that worried. Wilbur does say that his father might be upset indirectly. And he tries to complement her strategy too. It was the most coherent. But Wilbur also plays down the importance of the exercise when it definitely Feels important. To Niki at least.
Also coming back to your comment about Niki trying to figure out if Wilbur is always going to put his father first and her second. That would explain this comment [“There’s a lot your father wants from you.”] as well as the pushing for an answer that came before it. She knows Wilbur will always do what his father wants him to, no matter how much he doesn’t like it. And she just got more proof of that. How is she supposed to trust that he’ll ever choose her? At least if his father wants something else (like Tomys as heir) how can she know that Wilbur will go against him to chose her. (Deep down she knows he won’t).
(1/?)
-🌲
I really wanted to show that while niki held her ground in the war room, she's still an 18 year old girl who is fighting to try and grab onto the power she's been promised her whole life. while she might be able to put on a brave face, the moment she left the war room she started having doubts. she knows that it's not a good idea to disagree with someone as powerful as the consil, let alone as openly as she did. she's constantly walking on a tightrope trying to maintain the balance of everyone's opinions about her. if she falls off, the crown is lost. so she has to measure everything she says, every facial expression that passes her face, everything she lets the world see and everything she doesn't.
so of course she asks wilbur. both because she assumes he knows more than he does, but also he's phil son. if anyone knows how to read phil's face and tone and all the things he doesn't say out loud, it's wilbur. but wilbur brushes off her concerns and tells her it's fine, and niki wants to believe him but she has the nagging feeling that either he's lying to her, or he's wrong.
how can she know that wilbur will go against his father's choice to choose her instead... she doesn't... yup. she starting to realize she doesn't know that.
sometimes you're just an 18 year old girl and you hope that the person you consider your closest friend in the world would put you first, choose you first above everyone else just like he says he would. but you know that hope is burning on fumes.

So, I’ve been seeing people say that Bakagou is worse than the League of Villains.
Really. A kid that was a bully is worse than an organization of kidnappers, murderers, and TERRORISTS?
Guy. Guy, please. Don’t do this. Don’t stir my moral pot and make me defend Bakagou—sigh.
Bakugou Critical and Bakugou defenses below. Both parties have been warned.
Severe anti-League of Villains below.
Okay, look; I will be the first to admit that Bakagou pulled shit in the past,t and the writing lets him get off with a lot. (Those will get their own posts.) However, all the damage he’s done can be repented for. And in his own way, he is trying to grow. However, he’s taking the long way (the VERY long way) because Bakagou very rarely, if ever called out on his shit. Name one time Bakagou was called out for his actions before UA. And even at UA when does he get more than a slap on the wrist? Not to mention the VERY few times people call him out they always cover it up by saying, that’s just Bakagou, or admiring his determination. It’s like a dog pissing on the couch, and you raise your voice for a minute, then give them a treat a second later. If you don’t teach them, they’re just gonna keep pissing all over the place.
“Well, he should just naturally know this” not really. While there’s no canonical evidence that Bakagou was abused, it is shown they have a very volatile way of expressing their feelings. So it’s only natural that Bakagou may have a bit of confusion about how to deal with others and how to express himself.
Because of all of these factors, Bakagou has to learn what he’s doing wrong on his own.
While I feel Bakagou has a long way to go, he does show remorse and, in his Bakagou way, is making a minimum effort. He is SLOWLY understanding what he is doing wrong. More than that, while the damage to Izuku can’t be fixed it can be healed over time. The damage the villains did can’t. Do you know why? You can’t fix dead people.
Now, the League of assholes I’ll admit are more sympathetic than Bakagou, but they do NOT hold the moral high ground.
Whatever sad story they have they caused damage that can’t be forgiven. Why? Because the dead can’t forgive. Tago killed 13 teenage boys (unless Hori changed that as well). Dabi killed 30 people—delinquents or not, he still hunted them down with the intent to kill just to get at Endeavor. And then there’s everyone who died during the hospital raid.
Death is still a big thing in this world, everyone knows that and understands the pain it brings, which is why even heroes only kill as a LAST resort.
Nearly everyone in the league KNEW what they were doing was wrong, they just used the pain of their own past to justify it. Tago knew killing people was bad, but didn’t want to suppress the part of her that craved blood. Dabe knew the same thing, but he only cared about making his father pay. Even Twice knew that committing his crimes of vandalism, theft, and assault was wrong, but did it anyway because he was angry that he was fired and tossed out on the streets.
(That being said Twice was one of the villains that could have been redeemed, which is what makes his death tragic. Tago—as much as I loathe her, I’m willing to give a SMALL pass to her as she basically never got help for the BNHA equivalent of her mental illness.)
Now, Shiggy is the ONLY member with a get-out-of-jail-free card as he has the excuse of being brainwashed his whole life. (And Kurogiri, I guess as he’s a reprogrammed animated corpse, but I digress.) But the others? They knew the consequences of their actions and did it anyway. Everyone who died or were hurt in the hospital raid? The destruction of Japan? All the pain afterward? That’s all on them.
Again, Bakagou did bad, and his writing frustrates me. I’m upset that he never had to face the consequences of his bullying, and no. The sludge villain incident and his latest wound from the villains don’t count. Neither was karma. It was the wrong place, wrong time for the first, and the second one is just a severe injury from a brainwashed villain. Now, if the villain was, oh say, the kid from the first chapter that Bakagou was beating on before Izuku intervened, then that would be karma. As is, it’s just a consequence of Bakagou being reckless. (Which he should have learned his lesson about, but I digress.) But I digress.
Bakagou is annoying (to some), but he—and the majority of the heroes—still have the moral high ground over the villains.
And if we’re going to but the two on a scale, I’ll side with Bakagou over the terrorists who don’t care about the people they hurt.

im against all forms of anon hate, anon rudeness and any other negative anon messages!
i think that if you have something critical to say that you think you’re right about, then you wouldn’t be scared to sign your name to it! so anons already know that they’re wrong and that they might face consequences if they sign their name! (people would think they’re mean and wrong, so they try to protect themselves from these consequences, which is really fucking selfish when you’re going out of your way to criticise someone else! it’s really fucking selfish to think it’s okay for someone *else* to face consequences of your actions, but not *you*!)
if you send rude or mean anon messages to people, fucking stop and go to therapy like the rest of us. i’m an abuse victim with a shit life who feels emotionally upset a lot, and i get really fucking angry at how mean and awful people are, sometimes i just scream into a pillow because im so fucking angry at how people mistreat others and the world is really fucking awful!!!, and i still don’t send anon hate, there’s no excuses.

Confession - TESFest Day 03
"You know, I've never asked before, how did you get your name? It's quite unusual." Ivrasea was sitting cross-legged next to Rune on the floor of the Cistern. He looked startled for a moment when she asked, as she isn't typically known for asking personal questions like that.
"My father gave it to me. He told me he found me in the wreckage of a ship off the coast near Solitude when I was a young boy, with nothing but a tiny stone inscribed with some sort of strange runes in my pocket." Ivrasea was silent for a moment, thoughtful, before she spoke again, quieter than before.
"Were you able to use it to find out who your parents were or what happened to them?" Rune chuckled a bit at her question.
"Unfortunately, no. I've never been able to figure out what the runes mean. I've even taken it to the College of Winterhold. No one seems to recognize them or have any idea what they mean." He didn't seem too upset about it, just a bit curious, if anything. Ivrasea didn't say anything else so Rune decided to speak up. "What about your family? You've never mentioned them to me before. What are they like?"
For a moment, she didn't respond. Rune almost thought she hadn't heard him or that he overstepped and shouldn't have asked. Before he could apologize, though, she finally spoke.
"I never met my real family. My adoptive mother found me, abandoned, when I was very young. I guess we have that in common." She was silent for another moment before turning to finally look at Rune. "I had a sister, once. She was once the only person in the world I cared about. But the consequences of my actions got her killed." An expression full of pain and sorrow possessed her usually composed face. Rune reached toward her to place his hand on her shoulder to comfort her but instead she grabbed his hand and just held it, their fingers intertwined.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to bring up painful memories. You don't have to talk about it if it's too much." He grasped her hand with both his. She sniffled a bit and looked back up at him.
"No its alright. It's good to talk about it with someone I've heard. Ask away." Rune smiled at her and wiped a stray tear from her face. It felt odd seeing her emotional like this. From what Rune knew of her, she was never very emotional, even around those she loved dearly.
"Well, if you don't mind me asking then, what about your mother? What happened to her?" Ivrasea froze for a moment, just staring at him with a complicated swirling of emotions subtly crossing her expression.
"I have a bit of a confession to make, regarding my mother," She paused for a moment, seeming to be searching for the words. "My mother was... not the greatest. She loved my sister as much as I did. She was her offspring after all. But, she hated me. Once I was able to think for myself, she realized it was going to be difficult to control me. And I think..." Ivrasea paused for a moment, struggling to get the words to form properly.
"If you don't want to—" Rune started to say, but she hushed him before he could finish.
"Its fine. I think I may have killed her after my sister died, before I left Morrowind. I don't really remember much. Like temporary madness or something. I was angry at her for something terrible she did and the next thing I remember is waking up on the floor next to her corpse." Ivrasea was no longer looking at Rune, but instead down at the water of the Cistern in front of them. She was struggling to hold back tears. She didn't think it would be so hard to talk about it. That was years ago, before her mercenary days, before she found out she was dragonborn. Decades ago now. So why did she still have to work so hard not to cry?
Rune stood up next to her suddenly and offered her a hand. She looked up at him, puzzled for a moment, then took his hand and let him help her up. As soon as she was on two feet, he wrapped her in a tight hug. As soon as she processed what he was doing, she melted. She finally let the tears fall, and just sobbed into his shoulder. He held onto her tight and just caressed her hair.
Once she was able to calm down and get ahold of herself again, she still didn't pull away from him. She just stood there for a moment, allowing her friend to comfort her, like so few people were able to.

OC Asks
🌟 When your OC loses all hope, who do they turn to first? What helps make them feel better? What calms them down and reassures them? Why?
Clayman of course ❤️they've been by his side since they were summoned to this world! I think earlier in their arrival they would just as likely turn to Laplace, who has been a good and trustworthy friend to them as well!
Clayman is very confident even when it isn't merited - but he's also smart and can help them work through their fears or concerns in a very rational way. They place their full trust in him, so hearing him explain things rationally calms them down very easily. Additionally, his cuddles are very helpful for this as well ///
☀️ What makes your OC genuinely happy? A person, an item, their hobby? Where is the place they’re happiest, or most at home? What is the happiest they’ve ever been?
Clayman- LKHFEKJWFHEKJWHFK
They are at their happiest when surrounded with their friends/family (Laplace, Tear, and Footman, and of course Clayman) in Clayman's castle, ideally all being silly together and not worrying about the future :)
🌙 If your OC could have one wish come true what would it be and why? Would there be consequences to this wish or would they regret it once they get what they want? What would they give in return for this wish to come true?
🥺they would wish for Clayman to awaken as a true demon lord. They themself have enough power - they want to Clayman to achieve all of his goals, and that's his biggest one at the moment.
What would they give for that? Well, they've already given quite a lot to that cause...they are willing to give their life for him, so...there you have it. But I think they are continuing to work very hard to try and make this wish a reality, so! They are giving their all always.
❄️ What makes your OC sad, so sad that they can’t help but cry all day? How do they cheer themself up? Does their sadness upset any of their loved ones too?
Sometimes they remember the people they left behind in "our" world. They remember the traumas that they have.
Clayman hates seeing them like this - especially because he knows he can't fix it or really understand what it's like to be torn from your own world. The other clowns also are sad about it and will do their best to comfort me with usually distractions (in the case of Tear or Footman) or listening followed by distractions (Clayman and Laplace).
🔥 If your OC known for having temper tantrums? If not, what gets them really angry? What makes their blood BOIL? Is there anyway to calm them down or are they unstoppable? What are they like when they’re angry? Do they take it out on their loved ones?
Not known for tantrums, no! People being mean to Clayman makes them furious. They can generally keep themself under wraps - but if you aren't important and there's no consequence for killing you...well. Clayman and Laplace are good at calming them down, or at least getting them to not take action. Tear and Footman are enablers of violence- fdsahfkjdsha
They tend to cry when they're angry and become rather single-minded. Even once they've calmed down, they won't forget.
👀 Describe your OC through the eyes of another person! (bonus + specify who)
Laplace!
"Wendy? Heh. They're a good match for Clayman. They're level-headed, and know how to handle him to get him to reconsider foolish ideas while not bruising his ego. Though I have a feeling they stroke that ego a bit too much as well...hehe. They were the first Otherworlder I met, and now...they're family to me, no question about it."

Tune Tuesday
I'm late a bit I know lmao but in my heart everyday is Tune Tuesday, so. I'll go with a separate post, because I'm probably gonna write a lot and it's better that way then.
I'll also give some new songs at the end just to keep this going hehe
Rules: Listen to these songs and describe your WIP/OC daydream as you listened to them. You can pick one song or do both and you can be as brief or descriptive as you like.
Thank you so much for the tag and this game @jacquesfindswritingandadvice! <3 <3
The Sound of Silence. This one gives me goosebumps every fucking time I listen to it and I love it. This song is also a tune for Adran, the big brother from IQRUS!
A lots of responsibility weighs his shoulders and some of them he took it upon himself voluntarily, but that doesn’t mean he can’t feel overwhelmed sometimes. But usually when he feels like that, he talks to (the IQRUS version is slightly different, but still) God and even though they never answers him personally, he feels better. However, when conflict comes upon conlict, God answers him the first time. Not gonna go too deep into it, because spoilers, but Adran’s head will be full of voices and whispers soon. I think you got an idea where this leads, but I’ll not spoil for now :D He slowly loses touch with his peers, his environment and his reality. From a point he just wants to find peace again. And in the end, when everything seems to fall apart, he will find it. For a moment, evertyhing will be clear again. He will find his peace and silence at last.
Man or a Monster. Definitely Darmon’s song!
When he faces the consequences of his action the first time is the one scene that came to my mind right away. He will look around in his environment with open eyes, seeing all the glossy eyes and empty faces he created through the years. He will walk faster among the “zombie-like” creatures. Every one of them awaits his order, not moving an inch by itself. Darmon feels sick. All the creatures, big, slender, draar, driadlin. They act the same when you rip their soul out. But it was for the right cause, right? He didn’t even know it won’t be reversible. Did he? No, he was very aware of that deep down and he still did it. At that point, he will reach the cages of the prisoners, and he needs to force himself to look at them. At the point ears, the too long arms and legs, the too slender or too bulky figures, at angry or frightened faces, at them whom curled into the corner of their cages, at… people. By the Three, they had souls to take and lives to fight for! He realises what he just did and then sees a kid too. He tries to change back whatever he did to her, but he just makes it worst and that’s when he losts it completely. He decides to free and warn the people (first time he calls them that) so they can save what’s left of the world from the monsters wearing the skin of men. Just like him. He also will learn some healing magic later on, so the "In your hands, there's a touch that can heal / But in those same hands, is the power to kill" line is just perfect for him.
All The King’s Man. This song is one of my all-time fav and I wrote a little novella for it in the past, but now with a different association, this one is also a Darmon song lol.
There's an event in Metalsea that will upset the world order and everything will change very drastically and fast. Some people even go kind fo nuts at some point and one of them will be Prince Urien who wanted to marry one of the MC's but couldn't because she ran away. So, when this event happens, Prince Urien kills his father to make himself a king and takes Syonehlia (the MC that ran away and Darmon's love interest) as a hostage to make her his Queen. Then Darmon finds himself in prison with every citizen of Evalon. He’s cluless about what’s the Prince’s twisted plan or motives, but he won’t sit in a cell while innocent people are imprisoned and Syon is in danger. He manages to free everyone from prison, however, the newly crowned King Urien has half an army of corrupted creatures with him that attackes them right away. Innocents die, while Syonehlia struggles to escape Urien’s grip. This overwhelms Darmon, he sees the product of his actions (because he created these corrupted creatures) and while he despises the idea, he uses his dark magic one last time and goes berserk. With feather light steps and seemingly choreographed gestures, he butchers the corrupts alone, barely keeping himself together. The shadows and whispers call him to join them, so when he’s on the doorstep of losing himself completely, he somehow wakes up from the dangerous haze.
And here are my songs for you guys <3
No pressure tag as always!

i talked to you about Tlou2 a while ago and I just hopped on the reddit train, and I can say that I am ..Truly disappointed. I looked up the Tlou tag and holy shit, it saddens me to see how angry people are at the second game. They ~hate~ HATE Neil Druckman and complain about how he blocks them on Twitter, but I don’t blame him! They’re so mean and so quick to be dismissive of everything he was trying to accomplish in the game. Ffs, it’s a game about a zombie apocalypse, I’m sorry to say but the main character IS going to die at one point, and it would be unrealistic to have it any other way. I love Joel and I miss Joel, but Abby and Ellie are direct character foils of each other. They both do equally immorally wrong things and that is the sole point that he was trying to get across. Everyone was in the wrong. Joel was in the wrong for killing all the fireflies, Abby was wrong for killing Joel (especially the way she did) and Ellie just did… so much. It’s unfortunately exactly the way a post-apocalyptic world would look. It makes me wonder what would satisfy everyone who hated it because any other way just wouldn’t work in my opinion. There’s a reason the critic ratings are so high and it’s because it’s genuinely an amazingly well-crafted video game. I love love love the first one but the second one just stands unmatched with the death scenes (nora’s always haunts my brain from time to time), the adorable flashback scenes with Joel (with him just being so grateful she’s alive and admitting how much he loves her with his song), and all the relationships with other characters are just top tier. Not to mention those little side additions that are just *chefs kiss* brilliant. A few honorable mentions: Ellie getting hit by the waves and tumbling underwater when swimming to the aquarium. The snowball fight. The museum AND the aquarium. THE SKY BRIDGE. The ship. Boris the Archer in Hillcrest. I could go on and on. It makes me very upset that people can’t put aside the fact their favorite character died and that the person who did it had as much of a reason to do it as Joel did for killing her dad. It’s rough on Reddit. Just thought I’d rant.
took the words right out of my mouth bro. are they still going off about it on reddit or are those ancient threads???? either way I avoided those like the plague, I even removed shit from my youtube recommendations I was so sick of seeing it. it's a fantastic game, it's also incredibly dark. there was no black and white or good and evil, everyone made mistakes and committed violent acts that they then suffered the repercussions. it's about the consequences of your actions and the cycle of violence and breaking free from it. it's one of my favourite games and god I'm due for a replay
