Icarus gets the fuckig hug (so i can sleep peacefully)
"Do you want a hug?"
The question caught them off guard. They weren't expecting that. They weren't really expecting any of this conversation to go the way it has. They weren't expecting Rae to even be there today.
They knew the answer, of course. They couldn't remember the last time they'd been hugged. But the thoughts ate away at their mind, telling them that they didn't deserve a hug. Especially not from Rae, and yet here he was. Telling them he missed them, he loves them. Offering that hug. That human contact. Something so simple, so basic yet something they craved so deeply.
"y- yeah... please"
They took a hesitant step towards Rae and he closed the rest of the distance. He wrapped his arms around them and they melted into his embrace. They didn't know what to do with their hands, so they remained awkwardly standing there as their brother held them. He was crying. They were trying so hard not to.
They missed him, too.

7 months since Fable has been out of purgitory at the hands of everyone who gave up their own memories and items of importance to let him out
7 months of Rae regretting that choice
Every. Single. Moment
At every chance he saw him
At every time he learned he had done more and more wrong, break his family apart more and more, break this world he called home apart more and more
Just for his plan
For stopping death
For becoming a primordal
Every moment, every second of realizing why he was trapped there the first time by his mother, that he took from him as well
Wanting to go back, to fix his own mistake to not get him out, to just leave him there and let him suffer by himself without Icarus
Then maybe he would have his broter back
Hell he'd have his mom back if he just stayed there
But not
7 months of him hurting his family
And now all we wants is him back in there

I’ve had this idea for a while and had no motivation for it so I’m sharing it here:
Fable SMP Umbrella Academy AU
Hear me out:
Fable is Reggie Hargreaves, no doubt in my mind
Rae is the equivalent to Vanya/Viktor. Fable told him his entire life that he has no powers.
Icarus and Rae’s dynamic is like Allison and Viktor’s. Toxic
Icarus is Number One. Their power is potions, they don’t need books, they just have all the information in their head and can make anything in just a couple minutes.
Athena is Number Two. They can destroy things just by gesturing to the object and wanting it to get destroyed.
Centross is Number Three. He’s a mix of Luther and Diego, super strong and very good with his weapons. He gets sent to the Med Bay a lot after missions and Fable is always mad at him for letting himself get hurt.
Jamie is Number Four. They can talk to animals and occasionally make new ones in their room, much to everyone’s awe and dismay. They’re really close with Easton because they’re bio siblings.
Easton is Number Five. They got blinded during a mission when they were younger and Fable doesn’t allow them to partake in missions anymore, even though they can sense using the plants around them.
Haley is Number Six. She can see and hear a few minutes into the future at will and is good friends with Icarus.
Rae is Number Seven. He’s been told his entire life that he doesn’t have powers so he works on gear and equipment maintenance for everyone else. He also patches everyone up (mostly Centross) after missions.
Isla is defiantly Grace and I think c!Ven would be Pogo.

I’m just over here drawing on my phone and an iPad that was free because it was so badly broken that someone I know was told to dispose of it from their work.
Yes I draw with my finger and occasionally get blisters from it, it’s totally fine.

...Fable does she get to make that choice? She's never been given ⏃ choice *by you* yes she decided to marry you to protect her people but, and Rae even brings that up 2 seconds later, that you've taken that choice away from her, you took her away from her children bc she ran- you've never really given her ⏃ choice in anything- and yet she's still stayed until she had to flee
"Rae, when you are ready to help your mother and to fix our family...you can do the same for your mother when you are ready to give her that chance" (second quote is referring to Rae having been Fable ⏃ chance when getting him out of purgitory)

Attention all Fable SMP Enjoyers!!!

I have recently come to a shocking revelation regarding the beloved “Ghaae” ship in this fandom. (Specifically regarding one of its members, Caspian)
I have undeniable evidence that the Ghaae ship, and it’s creators, have been lying to us as a fandom regarding the intensions of some of their characters. (See below line for proof)
Caspian Solcrest is wearing socks, SOCKS! While engaging in what would otherwise be considered homosexual behavior in canon artwork. (Credit to Heyhay, Ghosty, and Metta for the beautiful artwork btw)
While the artwork that was shown on stream had a blanket covering them, this sketch CLEARLY shows Caspian’s feet are covered with socks. Which indicates he likely often sleeps with socks covering his feet. Unfortunately, I think we all know what this implies…
Ghaae is not actually gay.
You heard it here first. I’m so sorry for all of the upset this discovery will undoubtably cause. But we all must accept that they are, in fact, just homies who kiss each other goodnight.

actually,,, im coming back to this bc im hyperfixating on TMA rn;
c!Ven is someone who is ultimately run by his own fear. Like S1 Jon, he collects evidence and analyses it apatheticly, as looking too hard at the situation he’s in would cause more fear. He won’t admit it, but he’s terrified of the world he’s been put in. But at the same time, he won’t step away from his job, because deep down he knows that he can’t. He has to do this, he’s the only one who can.
Rae Morningstar consistently gets The Horrors thrown at him, and usually comes out the other side with a new scar or a changed body part. Like S4+ Jon, sometimes he wonders if he’s still the person he used to be before he experienced all of this, and that weighs on him a bit, but he tries to ignore that feeling. He’s also ran by his need to fix things, even though it’s a job that was forced upon him. He can’t stop now, he’s so deep in it all, and it’s so tied to his past. He’s channeling the pain he’s felt into changing the world for the better, and keeping others from feeling that pain. But god, he’s so exhausted, and just wants to have something for himself to come home to.
