1. Ven is the same age as he was when he conveniently dropped off the face of the earth and STILL has no memories of the time between the war and his sudden appearance in s2.
2. Wolf at least has an explanation why he's younger than he should be (was dog). And everyone else clearly aged normally during the resets (Athena aged normally for their species and the World sisters don't age). So what happened to Ven?
3. The last correspondence we have from Ven clearly states that his life is in danger, that Fable is going to kill them very very soon.
4. Fable has revived Icarus many, many times using "As It Is."
Theory: Fable killed Ven a long time ago, and revived him like he did Icarus. Thanks to Ven's memory issues, they wouldn't remember their death and would thus still be loyal and incredibly helpful for when Fable got out (which he intended to do that reset.)
I think he'd have zero qualms about doing it again, too, if he wasn't already desperate for allies. Maybe he still will if he's enough of an idiot (he is).

So I work in a farm store. I’m pretty fem presenting and this has led me me to run into a lot of sexism (from both men and women).
But there are a few things now that I’m one of the only people trained… well, “trained” to do them. I’ve been working here since before the store opened and so I’ve gained a lot of skill and muscle from it.
People don’t expect me to be able to lift any heavy things but I like to prove them wrong.
Like there was this one time someone called for a carry out (having a worker lift something into your car because you can’t lift it yourself- usually old or disabled folks ^^) so I went to help and this lady looked at me and went “ha, yeah no I could lift more than you.” The thing she wanted lifted was a sand bag. From my department . I lift those onto shelves above my head all the time.
But the time I think is really funny happened was four days ago.
This man came over to where I was by the baby chicks (chickens) and one of my coworkers was walking by. My coworker was wearing a shirt that corresponded to the store colors but wasn’t technically an “employee” shirt. The customer just went to him and said “hey big strong guy, could I get some help cutting chain?” I piped up because at first all I heard was “cutting chain” (Auditory processing disorder the beloved) and said I could. The customer looked back at my coworker, expecting him to do it and he just went “I’m the janitor, I have no clue how to. She can though.”
So I got to cut this man some chain. And was very smug about it because I was the only one working (aside from the managers) that is trained how to use the machine. Tehe. It’s funny surprising people.
@yaelokre‘s entire world, their music, their characters, everything, has been living in my head rent free for weeks now and I finally got the time and energy to doing art for it, I love these two so so much :D
Alright, to ao3's soon to be arriving Wattpad Refugees, a basic guide to general user culture:
1.) Unlike Wattpads vote system that let's you like each chapter, the ao3 equivalent kudos only allows one per work. Everyone is generally quietly annoyed about this. To engage with each chapter, you're heavily encouraged to comment. Trust me, it makes people's day.
2.) Ao3 has no algorithm. By default it's latest updated work first. You can find things to your taste through searches, filters and tags.
3.) 'No archive warnings apply' and 'user has chosen not to use archive warnings' mean two very different things. No archives warnings means the work is free from any content that could require a warning tag (character death, graphic depictions of violence, non-con, etc). User has chosen not to use archive warnings means it could contain any of the warning content, be it hasn't been explicitly tagged. Treat it like an allergen. No archive warnings apply is allergen free. User has chosen not to use archive warnings, may contain traces or whole chunks of the allergen. If you're likely to have a bad reaction, maybe don't take the risk.
4.) Speaking of warnings, ao3 has very few restrictions on the type of work that's allowed. Whatever your personal thoughts or feelings on that are, thats how the site is. You're likely to run across some dark subject matters and a lot of people are uncomfortable with reading that. You're well within your rights not like these works and have your opinion on whether they should be allowed, but harassing the authors of such works (or any works) is more likely to come back on you than them. Ao3 operates on a strong policy of 'don't like, don't read'. Use the tagging system to your full advantage to only engage with the kind of works you want to see.
We look forward to welcoming you all and seeing the fantastic works you create. Happy writing!
