nonbine/enbine/nbine presenting | androgynous presenting genderless presenting | maverine/mav presenting
(nonbine/enbine/nbine is nonbinary gender quality. Can also be called nonbinarine. maverine/mav is maverique gender quality.)
──────────✦──────────
I saw these masc, fem, neu, & xen presenting flags by neopronouns, and wanted to make nbine, androgynous, genderless, and maverine versions :)
Since these are nonbinary related presentations, there's no set definition for what counts as nbine/androgynous/genderless/maverine presenting (at least not in the same was as masc and fem, though they vary a lot too). So anyone can use these terms/flags if they feel it fits them, however they define these presentations for themselves.
These flags, like the originals, can be used by people who either present this way or want to present this way, and of any gender.
──────────✦──────────
The format comes from the aforementioned flags by neopronouns, I kept the same center stripe, and changed the outer 2 stripes (as they stand for the respective presentation quality).
I chose yellow and purple for nbine presenting (like on the nonbinary flag), purples (2 different hues) for androgynous presenting, green and dark grey (from the agender flag, the dark grey is a combo of the grey and black stripes on the agender flag, to keep the same 3 stripe presentation flag format) for genderless presenting, plus orange and yellow (like on the maverique flag, though I flipped the colours because I thought it looked too similar to the maverique flag otherwise, basically just a grey version) for maverine presenting.
Also note: I don't really know / have any ideas for how to shorten these terms (like how masc, fem, and neu are short versions of masculine, feminine, and neutral), except maverine, which I think can be shortened to mav. So I just listed the long forms, unlike what neopronouns did. If anyone has any ideas / knows any short terms, feel free to use these flags for those as well. (and also any alt names for these gender qualities I didn't list, as long as they still have the same definition.)
──────────✦──────────
Alt nbine presenting flag below the cut,
Tumblr media
I realise just using the yellow and purple colours leaves out the grey/black from the nonbinary flag (white I think is similar enough to the light grey, that I count them as a combined stripe/colour), so I also made a alt version for those who want/prefer it.

Cursed by God to have this vessel
Pray for her, she will need the strength to deal with me the instant we are face to face.
Heavily debating top surgery this past year to be honest because my body's inherent femminine design is just so dysphoric or mismatch
I look in the mirror and I don’t even see me, I see a stranger. It really heavily feels like depersonalization at this point like my body is just a rental or something because your custom car is in shop or whatever(?)
Also been debating looking into T (gel specifically for slower subtler results; plus i dont like giving myself shots, as a diabetic i did that way too young for way too long!)
For folks that use T and are willing to share what can be expected? What changes are noticed first?
Also trans men and trans mascs: do you have any work outs that help build a bulkier upper body? I’d like to square myself out more
Overall I’m just trying to figure out where I want my body to be while I explore my identity more
I’m working on losing weight and gaining muscle to both take care of my body and explore my expression physically in the mean time, but its slow work

hi, i saw your recent ask and i was wondering. how do you build an androgynous/femme outfit? especially for AMAB people who tend to have a more rectangular body shape.
thanks in advance!!
I think being able to separate clothing from gender is an important part of being able to present how you want to present.
Of course, there is a lot of cultural pressure around certain pieces of clothing being associated with certain gender presentations. However, I find that clothing is not the main thing that helps me with androgyneity. For me, that would be shapewear in the form of hip pads, butt pads (these are basically boxer shorts with inserts for specifically shaped pads), and breast forms.
Here is how I present most days I go out compared with a more masc look:

The main differences between these are the makeup and the shapewear for the femme look. Otherwise, the cargo pants are the same, and the vneck t-shirts are the same brand.

I think there’s also a conversation to be had about how people think androgyny is waify and thin and wolf cuts and eyeliner. like some people are butch. some people have crew cuts and body hair and tits to the moon. or beards and hourglass figures.
i feel like everyone is all uncomfortable seeing people who are androgynous in a non tiktok kind of way but thats most of the androgyny i know! i know normal people who arent put together 24/7 who are androgynous in sweat pants and sundresses and first thing in the morning. there is more than one way to be androgynous and it isnt always a choice.

just gotta say the speculation into dans gender is really sad and hurtful to see. it genuinely bothers me that people really saw everything this man (and trans people) had to go thru over the past decade and said
"lets try that again but even worse this time!"
-
i have personally gone thru this kind of invasive speculation; being harassed into publicly answering questions i didn't even get a chance to ask myself.
every outfit. how my hair looked. the way i sit. how i carried myself. what my interests were. my sexuality. what position i prefer in bed. everything. everything was used to prove or dispute any speculation about me.
it was extremely traumatic, painful and scary
i wound up being forcibly outed and put into serious danger over stuff like this.
Please Stop
people can cross dress or be androgynous and still be cis/binary. and that is okay.

we learnt in cat walker that the outfits miraculous holders have is purely made from their imagination so do u think adrien (adrienne?) would change her costume
I’ve heard this b4!!! I think it’s a really cute idea hehe but me personally (hypothetically in canon) I don’t think she’d change her costume 2 be that different :3 since it changed on personality I don’t think it would affect all that much x) if anything I think she would just change how it fit her (looser? I dunno :P) !! Or like her hair hehe nothing super different with the actual costume :3 I also see/draw cat noir like this (vvv) so hehehe

hey guys I totally succeeded at life. Went to the Renaissance fair. Walked into a tent with my sister + random guy. Vendor said “welcome lords and ladies,” then saw me and added “and magical creatures.”

feel like I’m in a dressing room, toilets have no right looking this cool+having comfy chairs in them (it’s appreciated, hiding from social erks to collect oneself a bit would be so comfortable if more were actually pleasant)

Thinking about it considering both binghe and liu qingge (shen yuan's most canonically ideal men) are described as feminine in text, you could for sure make the case that fem yuan has a Hugeee thing for butch girls that she just does not examine ever

Given that all the stories are true in the TSC universe, it implies that Cupid exists somewhere??? And honestly my take on Cupid in this universe is that he is most definitely NOT an Angel or a god, but a Faerie who uses his bow to trick people into falling in love with each other. He’s probably incapable of falling in love himself?? But has a certain charm about him that magically compels anyone who gets too close to him to fall in love with him??
All I’m saying is the guy is an absolute menace. An absolutely stunning yet menacing slice of faerie nobility

This excerpt pretty much summarizes why being told that I dress like I don't care about my appearance isn't wholly accurate. It's more so I don't care about looking like other people's idea of what a woman should look like, let alone their idea of a beautiful woman.

Androgyne -> gender identity (can have any gender presentation)
Androgynous -> gender presentation (can have any gender identity)
not all androgynes are androgynous and not every person who presents androgynous is androgyne
gender≠presentation
