i have this idea in my head for an au for tim where jason survives ethiopia and it looks something like this
so, obviously, both jack and janet are killed in haiti, since batman doesn't have a personal need to go down there, he just made sure that the ransom money went through for their release
of course, it was never about the ransom money, it was about the deaths. so they both get poisoned and offed, since batman isn't there to stop that and save jack
which leaves tim an orphan. he doesn't blame batman, because he doesn't know batman was even working with the police on this. i doubt the police tell people that lmao
bruce feels bad, but he and tim have no personal relationship so to him tim is just another victim of a senseless crime and the most he does is make sure that tim gets the support he gives to all the victims of crime he wasn't able to stop: access to good social services who will help him navigate this tragic time. since bruce does not actually have an adopting problem, he doesn't immediately look at tim and think mine, now.
and then, like normal, he and jason move on to the next crime and tim kind of fades from their minds.
however! things are not over for poor tim yet. after all, phil marin wants to embezzle all the money from drake industries and smuggle big boxes that say medical supplies on the side and pin the blame on 13 year old tim (he's a pure genius)
so tim, who is at the orphanage/group home now, and actually doing quite well for himself, he's very popular and likable, gets concerned when the police start asking if he knows anything about inconsistencies within the company, if his parents told him anything, let him know that the company is in danger
(the police do not buy that a 13 year old is involved in this. or maybe they're so corrupt that phil is paying them off to pin it on him anyways)
anyways, tim is concerned. and what does concerned tim do??? go to batman??? nay, i say, nay!! he doesn't care about bruce or jason that much, especially at this point. he only has eyes for (1) person.
so he sneaks out of the orphanage and takes a bus to NYC to see if he can get nightwing to look into this!!!
dick isn't at the apartment, he's at the circus so, sigh, tim has to find him there.
why is dick at the circus?? well his life is probably still blowing up. and he's still mad at bruce.
and now, i'm not a proponent of dick was super mean to jason at all, in canon he was pretty nice to him and liked him a lot and jason had his blessing and all and he's very glad jason didn't get killed by the joker
but listen. he's kind of resentful of both bruce and jason right now. jason nearly gets beat to death by the joker and then bruce lets him stay robin and is mother henning the eff outta jason??? when dick got shot by the joker he got fired and kicked out of his house. i feel like this would bring out very bad feelings in dick, a little.
just. torn between relief and resentment for bruce. he is staunchly avoiding gotham right now.
so he's all depressed and at the circus and this kid. this 13 year old scrawny, shady kid shows up and murder mystery and all that and dick is just like. who are you. tell me. what is going on.
and tim looks, like immensely guilty and he's like. i don't know how to say this. but i need your help.
dick doesn't know why anyone would need or even want his help.
and then tim's like. i need. nightwing's help.
and dick error code 404s. and this kid. does not want to tell dick how he knows he's nightwing. this effing kid.
eventually, dick cajoles it out of him and oh my god this is picture kid.
anyways tim promises he won't ever tell anyone and he didn't even want to have to come to dick but there's this thing going on with his recently deceased parents' company and idk the police are either not catching the bad guy or they're suspicious of tim and tim just didn't know what to do and he just needs help.
and really, how can dick say no to that? so he helps the annoying little kid, looks into it, finds phil.
and tim is just. so excited. that he got to see dick in action. this was the best day of his life.
anyways, thank you, my trust is safe, i won't bother you again, this was the greatest, i'll just be going back the orphanage now, i really appreciate it.
and dick's like...oh, no the orphanage? but it's not like he could adopt the kid or anything. dick's life is a dumpster fire.
and tim's like, nah it's cool. it's like boarding school, i'm used to it. and i get to go to public school now which is pretty sweet.
and they part ways. but you know. dick just can't forget about picture kid in the orphanage for some reason. he also doesn't tell bruce about tim because bruce is unreasonable and dick's still frustrated with him. dick can handle this on his own, okay???
....anyways maybe he starts going to gotham to check on tim more. gotta make sure he's keeping the secret, right? and he maybe starts enjoying this kid's company. tim's always so genuinely excited to see him. idk there's just a connection with picture kid :(
and bruce certainly doesn't need tim to fix him, but you know who's life is a dumpster fire and needs fixing? dick grayson, that's who. tim has a job now, and he's going to take it seriously.
bruce and jason don't notice dick's burgeoning friendship with tim drake on account of they're busy with knightfall shenanigans
anyways, bruce's back gets broken, azbats happens, dick and bruce somewhat reconcile. dick gets left in charge of gotham as batman! bruce goes on his soul searching and you know, i'm inclined to think he brings jason with because jason is his son. so dick is alone!!
which is very sad. luckily he's got a weird little friend in town to keep him company and that kid's name is tim drake
prodigal with dick and tim!! obviously, tim isn't robin, but they still hang out. go grocery shopping together, drink orange juice. tim just keeps him company, which is much appreciated. maybe dick starts teaching him some self defense and gymnastics stuff.
anyways bruce and jason eventually come back and dick moves to bludhaven to ~establish himself~.
but he comes back for contagion of course. he gets desperate when he finds out that tim's orphanage is affected and tim contracts it. he finds a cure just in time, racing from the hospital to get it to him!!
anyways cataclysm happens. and then....
no man's land!!!
i'm going to say that tim gets trapped in the city, due to being in a orphanage.
so guess what??? he becomes one of oracle's informants along with.....cassandra!!! he and cass get very close here okay.
i also like the idea of him running into young justice when they invade NML as a joke and helping them and then a fated friendship develops
i'm assuming at one point he gets close to huntress too. maybe he's in her class at school and figures out who she is before all this?? idk where she teaches lol im terrible
anyways tim and cass are in oracle's clocktower, cass becomes the new batgirl and this is probably when bruce finds out that tim knows
i like to think that becomes oracle's computer protégé around this time. maybe he ends up as one of oracle's proxies in this au.
and when robin and nightwing come into no man's land, dick is like "tim!!! my tim!!! little brother you're okay!!!" having been desperately worried about him when he realized tim didn't make it out before they blasted the bridges
and now they have to be like ooops yea so we know each other. :| bruce is grumpy, i'm sure. but he also kind of grows fond of tim after this??? tim is objectively a good addition to the team.
i almost think that jason is maybe a little resentful??? like this nobody kid has a super special bond with dick, dick adores him, barbara adores him, new batgirl adores him, huntress will only talk to him, bruce is grudgingly impressed with him, he's like an honorary member of young justice and they're all same age friends and jason is just a little too old and isolated for them being a couple years older and not quite as independent from batman and doing his own thing as tim was as robin in canon at this point
anyways no man's land ends and tim can't go back to the orphanage. he knows!! he's involved!! most likely he lives with barbara and cass but also he's in bludhaven all the time and so excited to be able to help dick out, like, officially
anyways i'm sure bruce eventually adopts him at the same time as cass after OYL and everything has burned to the ground because tim has been part of the family for years now
but then bruce dies!! i like to think tim stays in gotham and does his own thing as dick!batman's personal oracle. interestingly, jason is the one who is likely super isolated and goes off on brucequest, because if he doesn't have bruce, who does he have?
anyways i think tim is actually just much more secure here. he's fine! he had a good time. sure it sucked when bart and kon died, but he didn't have the same desperation since while he likes bruce and all it's not quite the same since he was never bruce's robin?? he's cool. he's got dick.

dicktim - La Beau Au Bois Dormant
idea gripping my tired brain by the throat about Tim being struck by some kind of sleeping beauty poison or spell and falling comatose.
Except the solution is not True Love's Kiss but sending someone inside his soul to battle the dragon that will manifest from his inner demons to keep him imprisoned, forever.
The highest chance for success necessitates sending in the one person that the sleeper trusts most - often their love, hence the poison/spell's reputation, but not always.
And almost everyone immediately turns to Dick, like in you go, Nightwing, what are you waiting for.
Which Dick. Doesn't know how to react to, because. God he would give anything to be that person for Tim again. But he knows that he broke something between them when he stripped away Robin.
They've moved past it, they're...fine. But Dick knows. It's not the same. They aren't the same.
He can't help Tim with this. Tim probably wouldn't even want him to try. And that kills him, but he won't sabotage Tim's only shot to wake up because of his own desperate wish to still be the one Tim turns to first. His north star.
There's a ticking-clock time limit before Tim won't be able to wake up at all. They don't have any time to lose.
He looks away from everyone's expectant, demanding stares.
"Call Superboy," he says, voice scraped raw from his throat. "Or Kid Flash. They'll get here in time."
He can't stand the disappointment on Bruce's face. It makes helpless anger boil hot and toxic in his belly. Bruce wasn't here for everything that happened. He doesn't know.
(Dick's never told him. How badly he fucked up.)
"Wait, not his boyfriend?'" Steph says, raised eyebrows and gesticulating at nowhere in particular and Dick's churning thoughts sputter and die into frozen blankness. Boyfriend?
Babs shakes her head on the Batcomputer's view screen.
"They're not at that level of trust yet. They haven't even been dating that long, Tim definitely hasn't told him about - " she twirls a finger, indicating all of them. Red Robin on the medical bed, cowl pushed down and cape pooled around him. The Cave, vaulting overhead. " - all of this. And he won't thank us for doing it for him."
Tim...has a boyfriend?
Wow. His little brother used to always want his advice on love. Life. Everything. If he doesn't trust Dick enough anymore to tell him even that much... Well. It just proves definitively that Dick isn't the right person for this job.
(It hurts like Dick's vital organs are being crushed in a massive fist.)
"Time is ticking," Jason Blood says quietly, looking down at the open face of his pocket watch. At his feet, a circle of lit candles awaits someone to sit down inside and sink into an enchanted meditation.
"Father, clearly it should be you," Damian says, tapping his foot rapidly. His arms are crossed tightly under his cape in a way that he probably means to come across as scornful, rather than apprehensive. "Or Pennyworth, even."
Bruce shakes his head, troubled. "No. I don't think so. Cassie...?"
"No," Cass responds calmly. "Not me." She seems untroubled by her own denial, even though she and Tim have been thick as thieves ever since she returned to Gotham.
She's looking at Dick. She hasn't looked away from Dick this whole time, or let go of Tim's hand, folded in hers protectively, over his heart.
"It's still you, big brother," she says. Gentle and direct and devastating. "Go. Bring him back."
Not so long ago, Tim trusted Dick to catch him when he fell.
Or, he was depressed and passively suicidal and telling Dick what he wanted to hear. Maybe he even believed it, after the fact.
In the end, it doesn't matter. He's Dick's brother. Dick will always, always be there to catch him, whether Tim trusts him to or not.
Dick goes.
He faces Tim, sinks into lotus inside the ring of flickering little flames, and closes his eyes, heart in his throat.
He opens his eyes. A vast, jagged bramble forest looms dark above him. Far in the distance, he can just make out a spindly tower piercing the sky, a flickering little light shining at the top.
He hacks his way through the biting brambles of Tim's resentments, leaving blood and sorrows dripping from the thorns in his wake.
He fights the sly, sinuous dragon of Tim's despair, singing with every breath that he can spare, so that Tim might hear him and know he's not alone.
He wishes he could remember happy songs, bright and lively songs - wishes he could be the light in the darkness that Tim deserves, that he looked up to and chased after and for some reason tried to model himself upon, even when he was already so very bright himself.
But any song is better than none to pierce the lonely vault of silence, so he sings of pain, of loss, of faith and faithlessness. Of holding on past the point of breaking. He sings of two hands open and outstretched, waiting to be clasped and held.
When his voice falters, when adamant scales break his sword and claws shatter his shield, he throws himself at the winged serpent, letting it coil about him and grappling it in turn. Fangs strike at him again and again, piercing flesh and armor both, before he winds his arms around its jaws and holds them shut.
It hisses through clenched teeth about failures, his and Tim's both. He holds its jaws shut, and sings of two ships tossed in a maelstrom, anchored to each other, weathering the storm.
It hisses, venom dripping from its furious curled lips, about abandonment and betrayal. He holds its jaws shut, and sings about two robins, flying with an olive branch held aloft between them.
It hisses to him of ice unending, frozen hearts, shattered trust. He holds its jaws shut, and sings about the steady radiating warmth of a hearth, of a hug, of a new dawn. Of new beginnings.
He rests his forehead on the dragon's growling snout, and sings, "Come home with me. Come home to me. Tim, I love you. Tim, Tim, Tim."
The beast shudders and shivers. And starts to break apart.
The crumbling wings buffet and beat at Dick even as they begin to crack and collapse. Dick lowers his head and holds on tighter.
The massive coiled tail squeezes around Dick convulsively, thrashing and withering. Dick's ribs crack, but he holds on tighter.
Scales etched with Tim's regrets flake off and fall away, like a tree shedding razor edged leaves in autumn. Dick closes his eyes as they kiss and cut his already tattered skin, but just holds on tighter.
Eventually, the violent disintegration comes to an end, and all goes still and quiet.
Save for a familiar shape shaking and weeping in Dick's arms.
Dick opens his eyes, blinking away sweat and blood just to be sure. But yes. It's him. Blue eyes reddened with tears, staring in horror at the ragged torn-up mess of his older brother, come to rescue him.
"Tim," Dick sighs, bones papier-mâché from relief. And exhaustion. "Timmy. Thank god."
"Dick," Tim cries out, gripping him tightly in distress. He lets go immediately at Dick's wince, and tries to pull away. "I'm sorry, I'm so fucking sorry, I'm - your wounds, we have to - "
Dick doesn't let him move an inch. "Shhhhhh," he breathes. "It's a dream, don't worry about it." Tim wriggles in protest at first, determinedly attempting to staunch some of the heavier bleeding, but Dick just holds him tighter. "Please, Timmy," he begs. "Please. Just let me."
Tim's breath hitches, then he wraps his arms around Dick just as hard as Dick is squeezing him, strong and anchoring. Dick's own breath shudders on the edge of a whine, and he buries his nose in Tim's hair.

"Missed you," he whispers hoarsely, several minutes later.
Tim lifts his face from where he's been leaking a silent wet spot into Dick's collarbone.
"Missed you, too," he whispers back, as if they're sharing secrets and might be overheard.
Then Tim hesitates, before setting his mouth firmly. He meets Dick's gaze, and there's a fierce light in his still reddened eyes that transfixes Dick. He almost lost this. He almost lost Tim - so many times, more than he probably even knows about. He never wants to look away.
"And I love you, too, you know. That's never changed. It never will change." His brow is furrowed intently, gaze searching Dick's, like he can find and burn away any hint of doubt or disbelief.
"I know," Dick murmurs, warm down to his battered toes. Tim's alive. Tim's going to wake up, and keep living. Tim loves him, and forgives him, and still trusts him more than anyone else. "I do know. I - "
He releases one arm from its death grip, because he can no longer resist the urge to cup Tim's face, stroke a thumb across his cheek. Tim closes his eyes briefly as he covers Dick's hand with his, leaning into it, brows still drawn together. Like he's in pain, even though all the dings and scratches are on Dick, not him.
Dick's heart seizes.
He dips down, to the impossibly inviting bow of Tim's mouth, and kisses him. At Tim's small, quiet gasp, he gentles further, catching Tim's lips, pulling the full lower curve between his own in a soft tug. To his delight, Tim follows him, chasing his mouth, and they share the sweet cling and press, back and forth.

Dick's wounds are somehow all still present upon waking. Magic, ugh, such a pain. The resulting frenzy of medical attention and getting bundled into another bed - too far away from Tim - like he's one foot through death's door isn't exactly fun, either.
(But still. Well worth it, for that first moment Tim's eyes flutter open and hazily lock on his. The world can keep spinning, now that Dick knows Tim is safe.)
As it turns out, Tim's recollection of what happened inside his own soul is equally hazy.
He remembers enough to melt bonelessly into Dick's chest when Dick sneaks over to share his bed, which dissolves the hard knot of worried tension in Dick's chest that he wouldn't remember anything, that he'd be back to subtle distance and awkward texts and not even feeling comfortable enough to share that he likes men, and Dick. Isn't sure he could have handled that.
So he ignores his aching ribs and multiple lacerations and puncture wounds and curls around Tim with his whole body, warmth and gratitude suffusing every aching muscle.
Tim...doesn't seem to remember the kiss. Which. Is a shame.
But Dick remembers it. Every moment is burned into him like the most intimate pyrography. That will have to be enough, until he can make it happen again.
(Tim's boyfriend doesn't stand a chance.)

Dick resurrecting Bruce via Lazarus Pit and his reasons for doing so left a bad taste in my mouth. Especially when Dick tried to talk Tim out of it. I don't like it. I wish Tim found out about it and... Had a serious discussion with him? Hit him? Left? I dunno.
Oh man, it's hard for me to talk about this one without the Doylist approach. I'm gonna come back to these panels, but I just want to leave them here as a contrast between how Dick is written in his solo vs. how he's written in Batman and Robin:
Dick: Tim... I ... where does it stop, right? What about your mom, then? My mom and dad? Bruce's...? (Nightwing 139)
Dick: This isn't just "loved ones," Alfie. It's Bruce Wayne, the Batman. He saved our lives, he saved the city and the world how many times? (Batman and Robin 9)
I have SUCH complicated feelings about the Morrison Batman and Robin run? I like a lot of the Dick-Damian-Alfred dynamics, and I love the idea of villain!Jason as a major antagonist for DickBats, and I love what I think is the concept of the Lazarus Pit arc, which is that Dick's slowly crumbling under the pressure of being Batman and Jason's taunting is the last straw that finally pushes him to make a terrible mistake.
But I don't like the execution of the Lazarus Pit arc, and the disregard for big chunks of post-Crisis continuity and characterization is sooo frustrating. ("I don't like to plan"/pro-Lazarus-Pit!Dick, cartoonishly-evil!Talia, redhead!Jason, etc.)
And yet. AND YET. So many of the concepts are so good! The execution is so messy, but the concepts are so good! I want to tear it all up and then put it lovingly back together but different sdfdsfs
I had a lot of thoughts, so below the cut:
Why characterizations in B&R are a huge departure from previous continuity (Doylist version)
Why the Lazarus Pit arc COULD BE SO GOOD though (and how we can make it work with Watsonian reasoning)
Finally getting back to your question - how would Tim react? (tl;dr probably with concern and worry?)
Characterization Changes
Just to give you a bit of an idea of how abrupt a departure B&R is from Dick's solo, here are some panels showing some major changes.
1) Dick on Lazarus Pits: Pro or Against?
Here's Dick arguing against using the Lazarus Pit and telling Tim it won't bring back the soul in Nightwing 139:
Here's Dick doubling down on the evilness of the Lazarus Pit when Ra's taunts him with it post-Bruce's death in Nightwing 152:
But here's Dick arguing that the Lazarus Pit will be fine and that he doesn't believe in "prophecies of doom" in Batman and Robin 7 (and indeed, also in B&R, he'll kill and resurrect Kate with zero consequences - convenient!):
2) Talia: protective or cruel?
Here's Talia worrying about Damian's safety and teaming up with the Batfamily to try to save him from Ra's in Resurrection:
But here's Talia smirking after telling Damian they're enemies now and she's going to replace him with a clone in Batman and Robin 12:
3) Dick and planning
Here's Dick-the-planner in Nightwing 142:
Tim: That's a lotta ordnance.
Dick: Failing to prepare is preparing to fail.
But here's Dick the impulsive leap-before-you-look guy in Batman and Robin 9:
Dick: ... Okay, I'm sorry - I don't like to plan, I work without a net... I'm not Bruce.
4) Resurrection: the right choice or the wrong choice (part 2)
Here's Dick telling Tim he made the right choice (not trying to resurrect anyone) in Nightwing 139:
But here's Dick insisting that resurrecting Bruce would've been the right choice in Batman and Robin 9:
This is one of those "clearly some people were writing angry letters to the editor" moments sdfdsfds, because it's awkwardly attempting to address Dick's abrupt about-face but the writer still hasn't read the issues in question because
a) Alfred has no way of knowing Dick's previous stance and it's incredibly weird that he would,
b) "cautioned against" the Pit is a lot milder than "had a fist-fight with Tim about it,"
c) Dick's argument has shifted from "the Pit is an eldritch evil that's untrustworthy and probably soulless" to "look, resurrection is a special thing, and not all loved ones are important enough for resurrection," which, uh, okayyyy, and
d) Dick is still full-naming "Tim Drake" as if he's a business associate and they had an argument about how to properly file paperwork and now it looks like Tim Drake was right after all, as opposed to Dick's little brother that he had a huge fight with and who subsequently ran away from home insisting that their dad was alive and that he was gonna prove it and now it turns out their dad is alive
Why This Arc Could Be Great Though
Listen, Dick-driven-to-the-Lazarus-Pits is a great concept. I love narrative foils. I love Dick ending up in the exact same place that Tim was in Resurrection, and even though he knows better. I love Dick being that desperate. Here's the setup:
Damian's back gets broken, Alfred takes him to get emergency treatment from Talia but it's not clear if he'll recover,
villain!Jason taunts Dick about not caring about Bruce,
Dick's been slowly crumbling under the pressure of being Batman and between the guilt of Damian being injured and the blow of Jason's accusations (not to mention having to fight villain!Jason and get him arrested), this is the last straw,
he decides to resurrect Bruce even though he knows perfectly well this is a terrible idea because he was the one who talked Tim out of it
he heads off to do this incredibly stupid thing and nobody stops him because normally on the rare occasions Dick's out-of-control Tim shows up and stops him (Hugo Strange, the Joker) but Tim isn't here and actually the strain of that ongoing estrangement is probably also contributing to Dick's isolation and terrible decision-making
the attempted resurrection goes horribly and Dick has to fight a grotesque parody of his tragically-dead father
I love this idea!! I love it when characters make stupid emotional decisions with terrible consequences!! I love the ways Dick and Tim's arcs intersect and parallel each other!!
And I think this could absolutely be in-character for Dick. He knows it's wrong and a bad idea, but he's desperate and pushed to his limits and grasping at straws? Yeah. I can see it.
BUT yeah, not in love with the execution. My conclusion is that more people should write about this arc in fanfic. <3
How Would Tim React?
I think it depends on where you put Tim in the story?
Options that come to mind:
Tim finds out mid-adventure: Tim's semi-teaming-up with Ra's and underground in a League base - and suddenly he stumbles on Dick sneaking in with (apparently) Bruce's dead body! In this case, I think Tim's first reaction is defensiveness about his own behavior and assuming he's being spied on, and it only slowly dawns on him that Dick's up to something. I'd really want to somehow maneuver a physical fight where Tim tries to stop him, so you get a direct reversal of Resurrection, but mmmm I'm a little stuck on how to get there since Tim's working theory is that the body isn't Bruce's body, so I don't see why he'd be opposed to Dick dumping it in? But anyway, they should have a physical fight and a direct parallel where Tim realizes he needs to back off and let Dick decide, and then they hug ;_; I feel like to make this one work you need Tim really invested in stopping Dick, so uhhhhh maybe for some reason Tim's "rescue Bruce from time" plan requires the body of the clone? So Dick CAN'T put it in the Lazarus Pit, or Bruce will be LOST FOREVER?
Tim gets told about it after the fact: So uhhh for example, Ra's finds out about Dick's botched resurrection attempt and tells Tim about it in an attempt to paint Dick as a hypocrite/ entice Tim into using the Lazarus Pit. I feel like Tim would just straight-up not believe him? But let's say that Tim finds out for sure - either Dick admits it to him, or he sees some League recording, or whatever. I'm not really sure how Tim would react? Worried, probably, because it's out-of-character, and I feel like Tim might wonder if it's really him or if he's under magical influence or something? And uhhhh then ideally Tim realizes that no, it was because he was having a really hard time ;_; and then Tim is worried about him and comforting and/or apologetic and probably Dick is probably also apologetic and then they hug <3.
Alternate third terrible possibility: it is Bruce's body, he was dead and Tim was just in denial, Dick resurrects him but there are some kind of eldritch evil consequences, and then Dick has to call Tim back and they have to fight undead!Bruce together. I like this one >:D

Which isn't kind of plane Batman takes when he knows Robin is being hunted by the Joker.
Superman looked half dead in the news footage. He was barely walking by the time parasite was arrested.
The Titans seem to be off world. Tim has no idea how to contact the Flash.
That means Wonder Woman. Which means Tim need to get to the Themiscarian Embassy in DC as fast as possible.

So, the Princess' Crusade is more of a cosmic suicide pact. That's disappointing. I was waiting for the other shoe to drop for a while though. Drosselmyer's prophecy from ep 2 never got out of my head: ''Many will offer answers. I would trust your heart and the heart of your companions alone". There's no Big Good that will lighten the load and make things easy, our heroes are gonna have to figure this out themselves.
Man I have been WAITING for their plan to come out this entire time. I admit, I wasn't thinking about Dross's prophecy exactly because it was a while ago--good on you for remembering it from all the way back--but knowing stories and knowing how Brennan tells stories specifically, I was sure there was no way the conflict was as simple as princesses good, fairies bad. Information on what exactly they wanted has been so vague and our heroes haven't been asking for specifics when they had the chance. I had a feeling Brennan was setting up some youthful zealotry leading to Bad Decisions and now, here we are.
This whole situation is really wild for a lot of reasons, not the least of which is the princess squad are saying they're against the concept of these narratives and the power they hold over their lives, but what about the power they themselves will be wielding over everyone else by doing this? They're talking like they're doing a hard thing that's best for everyone though they won't be understood by the common folk and to that I say bicth(es) what? Who are you to decide that life isn't worth living in this form? No one gets to decide but you because you're the main characters? What kind of Divine Right Of Kings BS is that? As someone else pointed out in another post of mine, I think Alphonse the Mule would be pretty put out if he heard the plan was "Let's End It All" while all he wants is to munch some grass.
And like, they don't even have it bad! How mad would you be if you were like, a witch or a giant or a monster whose fate in every Once Upon a Time is to lose and be hated and be killed and you learn that the people who were trying to take down the ship with all of you in it are the people whose job it is to suffer a bit sure but then be beloved, rich, beautiful, and happy forever with the men of their dreams? Like I GET why the Stepmother is like burn it all. Why is CInderella on that same train?
Speaking of why is this person on this train, what's up with Elody? Cinderella is like 18-20, right? I've been a dumb 18 year old girl. I understand that 18 year old girls can be very dramatic and fatalistic and rash. Elody is like 35, right? Does she know the plan? If so, is she COOL with it? (Sidenote: Is there another Elody running around in this version of the world or is she maybe dead?) There are like 3 options here.
(1) She knows and she's fine with it. Which wouldn't really mesh with what we know about her so far but maybe with Ger dead she was like OK screw it. Team Let's End It.
(2) She doesn't know because the princesses knew she wouldn't go along with it if she knew the real plan. Def a possibility but I don't want to pretend like she's uncoruptable. Anyone can subscribe to a bad take at a low time in their life.
(3) She DOES know but she's stringing them along for her own purposes. Listen, if MY useless husband that I loved died trying to do something brave for once in his life, mayhaps I would consider joining up with some overly-zealous suicidal princesses to find the power they wanted to use to end the world to bring back said useless but beloved husband.
I guess we'll see how it ends up shaking out. And likely soon. I have a feeling this might be an Escape The Castle situation happening soon enough.
Oh, one more thing. It kinda blows my mind that the princesses have learned of a book not touched by the Authors--Tim's Book--and are not like oh my gosh that changes everything! They're still fully committed to this nuke all stories plans it seems. Guys please. Have just...a moment of thought about this. A sliver of perspective. A crumb of self-awareness.

Say DC launches another complete continuity reboot a la the New 52 and one writer gets an assignment for Barbara, namely make her wheelchair bound once more.
Would it be considered sacrilegious and blasphemous if say writer doing it would propose the following idea for that angle:
Instead of a surprise attack from the Joker as a part of a plan in breaking Jon Gordon, Babs loses use of her legs via a genetic neurological condition in which her nerve endings at the wait down would just cease to function correctly and it fully developed after one final Batgirl caper where she successfully aided Batman and Robin!Jason to stop Jason and just as she stands triumphant after delivering the knockout blow, her legs just finally give out, hence after this the wheelchair.
Would you be okay with this approach or all of this is rather blasphemous to her character?
I think the problem with Barbara is two-pronged and one that a lot of characters face, a) that she was important disabilities representation that felt like a slap in the face to a lot of people to have retconned away and b) Oracle felt like such a strong narrative purpose to the character that Batgirl feels a lot less focused.
It's a problem with a lot of DC's characters--like, I do think this kind of a problem with Tim, where he's no longer really fulfilling the role of Robin, but they won't seem to let him grow up and branch out into something truly his own, like Dick did with Nightwing. Jason kind of has it, where it doesn't feel like a lot of writers really know what to do with Jason or write stories focused on where he fits into things. Even Dick's not always safe, isn't that why DiDio tried so hard to get him genuinely killed off in Final Crisis? Because he felt Dick didn't have a clear purpose/was redundant?
As much as I actually really enjoy Babs' post-reboot stories, I can see a case being made that her narrative role has lost a lot of focus, she's splitting her time between being Oracle and physical fighting instead of really honing the one role, she has friendships with Steph and Cass, but it often feels like writers didn't always know what to do with them, either. (I really wish they would lean in harder on that Babs is still dealing with this disability, that the implant in her spine isn't perfect.)
So, I think whatever storyline that would have her regaining her wheelchair would have to take into account what would her bigger narrative purpose be then? I'd be perfectly fine with your scenario, I like seeing that the emphasis is put on her character and the issues she's dealing with! But I think so much depends on what comes next--what role does she fulfill in the narrative?
For me, the problem isn't that she's Batgirl, it's that it feels like she's a jack-of-all-trades-master-of-none and, when you have a cast this big, it helps for them to find specific trades to master. Like, Dick works because he's a clearer version of Batman and that means he's out there leading the Titans, he's cleaning up his city and being a delight to watch him fight and laugh at his jokes and see him holding the family together, all stuff that he does in the stories. And I feel like the pieces are there with Barbara, that her relationship with her body and disability is really interesting, her friendships with Cass and Steph and Dinah are lovely, her relationship with Dick is delightful, but it's not quite fully in focus as much as it was when she was purely Oracle. I would love to see her liaison with Ivy or Harley more (just as examples), because Babs is a character that is about drawing women together and making connections between them, I'd love to see her do even more of that, as one route they could take her narrative purpose!

Everyone thinks that Tim is this angel, sweet golden child who does no wrong. He doesn't break rules, doesn't lie, never had a thought about killing (minus once) and Bruce favors him for it.
Meanwhile Tim is slightly laughing at them because he's killed more, he's the only one who's lied and got away with it, he breaks more rules but he's never caught. He's wearing a mask and nobody can tell
...until Damian confronts him, telling him he knows and...he wants to do the same thing
i love the concept because tim, in so many universes when he loses too many people and too many bad things happen to him- he goes off the deep end. he's so desperate to not be that but the reality is that he's more likely to go "bad" than to stay good. so a tim who's "bad" from the beginning. who lies his way through the family from the beginning, who plays the part of the perfect child that bruce desperately wants because it's what he needs to feel like he's succeeded.
tim isn't like other rogues. like slade who needs people to know that 'deathstroke the terminator' did this. not like selina who despite stealing and having to remain low key to commit her crimes also can't help but have an MO or leave behind a calling card because she can't resist the thrill of being pursued or chased. he doesn't do it for the thrill like zsaz or for some bullshit commentary on society and made-up arch-enemy bullshit like joker.
tim isn't a rogue and he doesn't consider himself one neither does he think he's an antihero who think hero society is fundamentally fucked up. he's just doing his job and making sure all loose ends are tied up. he doesn't go for big scores like mob bosses or people of interest for cases they can't gather evidence for. no.
he goes for people who supply false testimony on stands, who lie about having seen some guy at a bar when he was really chopping someone up at a warehouse. the ones who throw off tim's shoo-in cases. rapists, criminals that slipped through and played jump rope with the law? that's red hood's domain. that's his score.
he goes for the bears and mountain lions moving into residential areas and trying to eat the babies people left playing in teh front yard.
tim goes for the smaller...less noticed pests. the rats, the cockroaches. the college professor making people uncomfortable during office hours. that creepshow cop that pats people down under their clothing. the highschooler that drove three kids to nearly kill themselves because they just wouldn't leave them alone.
they're not criminals. they're not mass murderers. they haven't and likely won't grow to be threats like black mask or bane- but no one was sad to see them disappear.
no one reported them missing, no one went looking for them. one day they were there and the next day they weren't. and they'd made people around them so miserable that the only feeling people felt when they were gone was relief.
that's the first thing tim teaches damian. if even one person is sad or disappointed they're gone then you've already messed up because all it takes is one person to set off a chain of events that will have batman after you. tim is careful. he doesn't do it for fun, there's no "art" in killing like shiva or talia would try to convince you off. if you do that then you want to get good at it, you want to practice and practice means sloppiness. if you treat it like a vice it could get addicting, and you start messing up to get your next fill.
so it's just work. that's what you have to think of it as tim tells damian. work that needs to get done like getting your hair cut or doing your taxes. he lies through his teeth about it because it's ugly and bruce doesn't like ugly things. he likes pretty and clean and obedient. and for his sake, tim needs to be that. and all the other stuff needs to be hidden away.
so he needs to teach damian how to keep the mask in place because that's the most important part. never being someone anyone would suspect about being capable of such things if those natural deaths were to ever arouse suspicion among people.
which they haven't. anyone smart enough to notice something didn't care enough to do anything about it. tim made sure of that.

You know these aus where "X is the real biological mother of Damian" trope with X ranging from Selina to Dick Grayson (with Talia being the father; oh, wonders of ABO AU).
So what I am suggesting is instead of metaphorically stealing Talia's baby we get her more babies. This sounds weird but what I meant is: Tim Drake as secret child of Talia and Bruce AU. It's all coming together like this:
Talia got pregnant and Bruce was even willing to stop being Batman for her and the baby but. Ra's was enraged and to keep the baby safe she gave him up for adoption.
This baby was adopted by Jane and Jake Drakes, because families with children look more respectable. This would also explain the emotional neglect in this case: they didn't bond with the baby, they're considering him more of acsessory.
Then, Talia cultivated her position in the League to be more stable because she didn't want to repeat this. But then she gets pregnant again (I'm blaming Bruce), and she's more stable but her father is still kinda... Considering targeting Damian if she is more loyal to the kid than him.
To prove her loyalty and protect both of her kids, she decides to keep Damian - because she can't fake a miscarriage for the second time, Ra's will get suspicious, start digging, find that she lied to him and kill the three of them, or at least one or both of her kids for sure - so yeah, she's keeping Damian. But she has to raise him close to Ra's. And she has to raise him to be able to withstand Ra's. This means martial arts, swords training, even training him to kill. Because Ra's trying to kill him from time to time, which he honestly considers training. Talia knows. Talia doesn't want Damian's childhood to be as traumatic as hers so she chooses the lesser evil. Her baby will learn to protect himself by any means necessary but at least he won't be afraid and he won't feel weak and he won't grow up subservient to Ra's.
Talia also frames things to Ra's in a way that eventually allows her to send her son to safety. To Batman. Claiming that this way, Damian will be able to train with him and take over Gotham when the time comes.
At this point, Tim is already adopted. Talia knows of his existence but she doesn't know it's her son, too.
Damian, who was raised in a "you're Batman's heir, you're his son" way because it was the only way to let Damian escape being under the Ra's thumb. So of course they clash!
But. Bruce, being who he is, makes a DNA test for Damian. Somehow, Tim's DNA got analyzed instead. And it's a match! Dun-dun.
Bruce freaks out, Damian freaks out, Tim freaks out. Jason, I honestly don't know what he's being doing there but he might have been the one who got the DNA mixed up because he was fed-up with Damian - he doesn't care about "I'm the real son of Batman!" bullshit because fuck Bruce. However, claiming that Jason isn't also Talia's son? That's too much. So he switches blood, and then the results come out positive he's the one who freaks out first and comes clean and also calls Talia.
Talia freaks out and then she goes to Gotham and stays there.
The only one who's absolutely pissed about this, is Dick because he hates Talia and she became not just his step-mom but also mom to three if his siblings. Cass is okay with it - if Bruce's happy, good for him. Duke doesn't get the big deal at all.
Dick is slowly having a meltdown because no one understands his pain, okay?
But then Bruce dies and they kinda don't have the time for this shit. Cue Dick and Talia team ups not only to wrangle a family of unruly and grieving children but also to save Gotham from itself and not lose yourself in the process.
By the time Bruce comes back, Talia adopted Dick too.
Also, Jason got legally resurrected, Tim and Steph went off to college, Cass became Batman, Damian has made friends in school, Duke actually became their foster brother in Bruce's absence so Talia just continues giving Bruce new surprise kids whenever he's not looking.
He actually likes this tradition, so he doesn't mind.

Mackenzie Visits Meena in Prison.
Mackenzie Boyd Fanfic.
"Aaron I've had another visitation order to see Meena" Mack said showing Aaron the letter.
"I think Lucy is right, maybe you should see her" said Aaron "I'll come with you if you want"
"I'll wait in the car outside if you don't mind. Prisons bring back bad memories for me" said Aaron as they arrived at the prison.
Mack walked into the visiting room and scanned the room when he saw Meena waving to him.
"Thank you so much for coming my beautiful boy " said Meena.
"How are you" said Mack.
"Oh you know me. Bearing up" Meena answered.
"Why did you kill all those people Meena?"
"Dunno babes. Shit happens" answered Meena.
"I've missed you terribly my little Kutta. It's so nice to hear your accent. So sexy" said Meena.
"Meena I need to know if you are still pregnant with my child" Mack asked anxiously.
There was silence and Meena looked around the room to see if anyone was watching her. "Well I want the whole world to know just how much I love you. And the one regret I have is not being able to hold you in my arms and give you that child you yearn for"
"Keep your voice down" said Mack who was embarrassed at everyone staring "Everyone is looking"
"You just don't get it do you babes" said Meena.
"I am the star attraction in this hell hole and I've got the guards eating out of my hands" Meena boasted. "And to be honest this place is so depressing too many dishonest people in here. And furthermore the place is full of criminals"
"So there is no baby then?" said Mack.
"Unfortunately there isn't my sweet" said Meena "Its so regretable as I would have loved to have given you part of me to keep forever. I still love you Mackenzie, but I daren't even think if you still love me"
"You truly had feelings for me then Meena?"
"Of course Mackenzie. You are one of the sweetest men I have ever met I had big dreams for us. But people got in the way"
"Please don't make fun of me Meena. "I was heartbroken over you. I had dreams as well"
"Go on shame the devil and shout out that you still love me. Just like Romeo declaring his love for Juliet. Oh how I love a bit of drama" said Meena waving to one of the guards.
"Who is that you are waving to" Mack asked Meena
"The po faced cow they have given me as a companion. To replace Ian"
"Companion and who's Ian?"
"Keep up Mackenzie" said Meena "Ian was my total let down of a guard and my companion sounds much better than my screw when I write my memoirs"
"You're memoirs?" asked Mack.
"Yes. And it will be a number one seller. Christian Grey has nothing on you babes. The women will be drooling with passion when they read about you"
"Please don't mention my name" Mackenzie asked.
"Of course I'm mentioning your name and how you ravished me when I came home after fighting off Ben and the others" gloated Meena. "I'll say how much you were gagging for me"
"But I wasn't" said Mack. "Please Meena don't do this to me"
"Ian will be so jealous when he finds out what he missed" said Meena blowing a kiss to one of the warders.
"How did he let you down?" asked a puzzled Mack.
"Coz he was supposed to unlock the door in the quadrangle where I held Manpreet at knifepoint" Meena sighed. "He was on a promise as well and he well and truly cocked it up"
"I was in love with you Meena. Truly" said Mack.
"Maybe deep down I am still lodged there in a little corner of your heart babes." Meena said to Mackenzie.
"Maybe" said Mack.
"Charles told me you have been unwell. I requested to see you in the hospital but the bitches in here wouldn't grant me leave. Oh but wait they will pay. Another murder won't make any difference" said Meena.
"Meena don't talk like that it scares me" said Mack.
"I'm sorry babes. You are the last person in this earth I would want to hurt" said Meena reaching out for Macks hand.
"No touching" the Warder shouted.
"No touching?" She's got a cheek. She does more than touch when she's in Mystic Megan's cell every night" said Meena.
"Well that's the bell. Time to go" said Mack.
"Please come again Mack" said Meena grabbing Mackenzie's hand again "And do me a favour"
"What?" asked Mack nervously.
"Buy every newspaper in David's shop that mentions me and send them to me." Meena asked "You don't know how comforting it will be for me to have my name sprawled from one end of the country to the other. Besides I need to read them to make sure they have got every last details about the murders correct"
"How did it go Mack" Aaron asked when Mack got in the car.
"Not too bad. She said there is no baby and that she still loves me"
"I did love her Aaron but it's clear that she needs help. She still talks in riddles" explained Mack.
"Well let's hope she has put your mind at rest" said Aaron as they drove off.

I just read that you didn't like how the snk manga ended up. Where about in the story did you start disliking it? Like was the main ending in 139 the biggest problem or was it the final arcs like I've heard others saying?
I am still confused myself how I feel about 139 Im just interested to see where you felt like the manga wasn't for you anymore. 😅
Disclaimer: hhhHHHhh first of all, I want to make clear that I am no writer but as a media consumer like everyone else, I am able to assimilate situations and stories, and if I see something that doesn't work from my PoV that doesn't mean I think I can do better myself..if that was how the world works, many critics would be unemployed 😅
My opinion isn't even professional anyway so anyone is free to disagree and leave their comment if they want to talk but know that I won't engage in any further conversation that takes more than a couple of mins because I'm only answering a question here and come to have a good time gjdfkg.
Now to the answer hmmmm, is not exactly just the ending but more like a progressive thing ( I assume that's what you mean with the latest arcs?).
It kind of started with the serum bowl for me actually ahahah idk if that's too behind 😂. Fandom's reaction aside, the stage Erwin and Armin were brought into was way too convenient to give Erwin the farewell he had (which doesn't mean I didn't love it btw, his interactions w Levi and hanji made me cry) and a bit too overdone to prove once more how much Eren loves his friends. From that point I was like "mmmm ok it was a risky move to bring them to the rooftop out of nowhere like a ring fight, with this new random bootlicker guy on the side but is ok it cannot get weirder than that right"
Then when the whole Marley arc appeared I gotta admit I entered a VERY long hiatus, because I was just starting to digest what was going on with historia, Eren and the grisha flashbacks, also what was going to happen with Armin since the scene in the rooftop seemed SO important and eager to pass the role to him and a bunch of characters compared him to erwin as if it was going to be relevant to the story. Also I gave up with Annie ahsjfddg.
So yeah this "other side of the story" was like starting over (which I knew was the point yes) and I wasn't ready for that, I know I was weak pls don't yell at me.
So I waited til the main cast appeared again (my friends were updating me on the story hahaha) to reunite some willpower and get myself back in track. I went back a bit before I left the story at, and swallowed all those war chapters all together. And I was kinda impressed, it was even entertaining. I thought "I guess I just needed a break, my interest wasn't 100% lost"
It felt like I was reading chapters like in uprising (in my opinion, a good balance between politics and the action everyone came for: shonen titan fights) it was going good...
Then I cannot recall in which point everything started to be a bit overwhelming (again is prob because it wasn't just a single thing), more information was coming and new characters were taking turns in the spotlight....Mikasa with the asian bloodline, Annie's daddy issues, Falco's hinted destiny, Reiner's deadpool-like sad life, Levi and his promise, Hanji's ideals and their struggle as a commander (the latter was left so so abandoned for the sake of implying that the "idea" of commander in their universe basically died with Erwin, which brings me back to being upset at the unnecessary drama pushed on Armin, he was just sad for killing people like a normal person and that's it), the motivation of the SC, Historia and her baby, the Ymir's sick love and the no-ymir's past... these are only the ones I can get from the top of my head...
All of these little unresolved/forcibly closed stories I felt were like the freebies in a big box, the things that give you the sensation that the prize is bigger but they really don't give any more weight once you open it.
I just felt I was being mislead all the time. (you can tell by memes like this that many people was mislead in one way or another, they could sense the story was going on a direction where none of these scenarios could happen, and yet they happened in the last minute) The cherry on top is that I thought Eren was going to be allowed to be a true villain lmao.
The final events were just the Coup de Grace and I wasn't expecting anything at that point, so the Avengers assembling against Thano-I mean Eren and anything that came after it, didn't rlly leave an impact on me (positive nor negative), I just went with the flow and couldn't feel anything hfgdf, no anger, no sadness, I just wanted it to end.
If I told you a story about a kid that was chasing a chicken, then I decide to spend years developing complex sub plots around them and the people they meet, as if they also will have a concrete purpose in the long run, maybe hoping to add more depth to my story...all of this to tell you in the end "Anyways the kid died but got the chicken. I did everything I did because is interesting, I told you since the beginning the kid was just trying to get it so that's what they were gonna do, is just that there was no other way, they had to do all of this to get there see. Why are you not convinced? I gave you hints that that's exactly what the kid was going to do.." You'd probably feel like me ahhahahaa.
Then I've read other people say "there's only three protagonists, no need to work harder on all the characters" "all the characters had a reason to do what they did, it says so in the story 🙄" well, again I'm no writer but afaik that doesn't make a story automatically well done or compensates any lapses...is like
It gave the impression that yams wasn't rlly planning out this outcome 100%. I know writers do changes in the middle of writing..but he took too many risks imo (is his first story too right?) Whether it was bc of his own decisions or any influence he had from others...something definitely didn't go right. Still mr Itsallama I don't mean to re-write your story and I'm sorry I rlly didn't like how it went down, I still feel grateful for all the good times though.

My thoughts on Ninjago the Island!!! 🏝🏝🏝
So, gotta be honest... this is not a Blind reaction thing, I actually watched it in French first so I know most of the stuff already 😅 It's entertaining, it got great animation, but nothing more than that in my opinion 🤷♀️
Still there is stuff I liked or I want to point out, and finally I'm seeing the English version so I can actually understand what the HECK they are saying 🤩

I haven't actually seen anything Clutch Powers related before Ninjago, is he always like this? I love that he is a jerk honestly, just wondering 😂

There are a few little details that bothered me a little, and it wasn't as exciting as I maybe hoped it was going to be, but it was fine. Enjoyable still. These characters make me like the show, even when it got nothing too impactful 🤷♀️
But I got triggered about that lightning thing with Jay 😅 I guess I'll just fanfic whatever I had in mind...

The writing was really less engaging, a little normal in a way? Idk just a feeling. Nice to see Ronin again though, I really like him. And nice to see Jay freaking out, I really like that too 😂

Bad Memories
Pairing: Mick Mars X Reader
Synopsis: While you are trying to enjoy your peaceful morning with Mick, your sister calls you with az unexpected demand. Your past comes up again which you don't like.
(I will correct the mistakes tomorrow)
Being the girlfriend of a musician meant constant tours and music all the time at everywhere. Seeing the guys almost every night on stage playing their chosen instruments made you jelaous. Then you remembered that you wouldn't stand on stage and play. Never.
It was a rainy and overcast October day. You and Mick chose to stay in bed a bit more since you had nothing to do that day. Your head was laying on his chest which was rising slowly. You loved listening to his steady heartbeat. His fingertips were caressing you bareback while his other hand were behind his head.
"Miiiiick. Please!" You asked nicely.
"Yeah?" He sighed.
"Would you be so kind and make some coffee?" You looked up with puppy eyes. He rolled his.
"I made it yesterday, too." He stated. He knew that these kind of peaceful mornings are rare and tried to enjoy every second of it.
"Good point. Then give me 5 minutes." You murmured into his chest. After a while you heard Mick's quiet snoring making you drift back to sleep, too. A loud ringing noise woke you up from your peaceful dreams.
"I will kill whoever this is." Mick groaned reaching for the telephone. "It's your killer, what do you want?"
"Hey, Mick. It's me, Isabelle. Sorry if I woke you up." Your sister apologized on the other end of the phone.
"Oh, hey. What's up? Haven't heard from you like in ages!" Mick's face brightened up while you frowned thinking who this lucky person could be.
"Nothing special, just the usual. Is (Y/N) there? I really need to talk to her." She asked.
"Yeah, sure. Is there a problem?"
"Well, nothing serious." Mick handed you the phone.
"It's (Y/N)." You said with a quite sleepy tone. You sat up while pulling some blanket from Mick who answered with a pillow behind your head. "Hey!" You snapped making him smirk.
"It's me. Your sister." Isabelle started to get annoyed. "(Y/N)! Are you here?"
"Yeah. What is it?"
"You know there is gonna be a party. Here at university. A Halloween party."
"That's good, I guess?" Making a phone call this tired didn't help.
"Sure. Also, me and some guys formed a band you know."
"Really? You haven't told me." It was good to finally speak to her. It was quite a long ago since you have a nice sister to sister conversation. You glanced around in the room and spotted an oversized tee on the ground. You got out of bed which was hard cause Mick didn't let you at first. You couldn't help it cause you felt the urge to walk when you were speaking on the telephone. "And... what's the name of the band?"
"Eggheads."
"That's what I call creative." You giggled.
"Wasn't me who came up with the idea, you know." Isabelle huffed.
"Maybe you should've asked Mick. He has some ideas." You glanced at the guitarist who tilted his head not having any clue why he was mentioned. "So what's the deal, sis?"
"There is this party and the head of the uni asked us to perform."
"Congrats. That's a big thing!" You cheered.
"Let me finish. So yesterday our guitarist, Mike, had an accident and broke his arm. He sure won't be able to perform."
"Oh, that suck. I'm so sorry. Also, sorry for not performing." You played with the wire of the phone.
"Well, don't be. Cause I have a wonderful idea!" She had a devilish smile on her face, unfortunately you couldn't see. If you could, you would've known what she was up to. "There is a girl I know who could play instead of Mike."
"Good to hear. Is she at the uni, too?" You asked still not suspecting a thing.
"Not exactly although one of my best friends." She said sighing. "I'm talking about you, (Y/N)."
"What?" The blood froze in your veins. "You aren't serious, right?"
"Don't tell me you are still not over what happened years ago!"
"I am...just.. it's pretty hard." You were rubbing your arm with the other.
"Please, (Y/N)!" She begged. "It will be fucking cool, I promise."
"I don't know. I haven't played since then. I will mess up."
"Give the phone to Mick."
"Why?"
"Heard me. Give me the guitar lord." Isabelle ordered. You handed the device back to Mick who took it happily. He was really fond of your sister.
"Did you manage to solve the problem?" Mick asked while he was eyeing your worried facial expression.
"Almost. Would you refresh my sister's guitar skills in two weeks?" Mick's eyes widened while you shook your head.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Mick asked watching the red light from the car.
"Tell you what?" You were looking out the window to avoid eye contact. You knew what he was talking about and it wasn't your favourite topic.
"That you can play the guitar."
"I thought I can have secrets. And it's not a big thing."
"If you say so." He was watching you from the corner of his eye. He noticed that you were worried, well, rather freaked out. "Would you mind telling me why are you like this? Or is it a secret, too?"
"I fucking knew." You pulled your hoodie's strings stronger so nothing could be seen from your face. You crossed your arms and didn't say a word.
"You look like a kid who didn't get her Barbie." He chuckled.
"Haha. Very funny." You murmured.
"Aren't you happy that you can meet with Isabelle? Cause I sure am!" He smiled. Sometimes you were wondering why he liked your sister this much. Mick only tolerated people. "Hey. Mars to Earth. Are you here?" He asked while poking your belly making you giggle.
"Stop." You tried to catch your breath. Mick smiled, he loved hearing your laugh. "And I'm sorry for my behaviour. It's just a quite sensitive topic for me. Only Isabelle knows about this and she doesn't think it's important." You were playing with the strings of your hoodie. "I guess, you want to hear the story."
"Only, if you want to. But yeah, I would love to hear it." He smirked. You took a deep breath and started you monologue.
"Not a long story, don't worry. So years ago some friends of mine formed a band. It were the boys and me. We were a cover band but tried to create some original ones though I was the only one who wanted that."
"Sadly, I can relate." He sighed.
"I'm sorry." You took a look at Mick who placed your hand into his. "Unfortunately, this was the minor problem. After one of our concerts, I had an accident. I fell of my motorbike. I broke my arm and one of my legs. The doctor said I was lucky." You had a sad smile on your face. Later, deep down you wished you had died instead.
"We were on a so called mini tour, we were performing at universities and high schools. Since I was at the hospital I felt horrible because we couldn't perform. At least, that's what I thought."
"You were replaced, right?" Mick squeezed your hand feeling sorry for you.
"Yes. But that wasn't my problem. I thought they were my friends. They didn't even visit me. After, I recovered more or less, I went to our place where we usually practiced. There was a new guitarist, a guy, who told me to fuck off." You laughed. "I was on my way to punch the guy, but our singer stopped me. He asked why I was there and that he fired me. His reason was that they didn't want a girl in their band and that I wasn't playing well anyway." You let out a breath you didn't know you were holding. A tear ran down your face and your eyes were gloomy. You chest was heavy but you tried your best not to cry.
"Fuck them. Fuck them for embarrassing you. And where is that famous band now? Nowhere! Darling, I'm so sorry. But they don't deserve your tears." He wiped your tears with his thumb. "And I'm sure they still regret their decision. If you play as good as good pictures you take they are a dead band." He pecked your lips making you smile.

"Are you ready (Y/N)?" Your sister asked. You and Isabelle's band along with Mick were at drummer's garage and were about to practice. It was the 5th day and you were improving. That's what Mick said though you didn't believe him. You nodded and started to play "Live Wire." On the set list there were Mötley, AC/DC, Van Halen, Scorpions, Bon Jovi and many more. An old good feeling took over when you touched the strings. Your fingers remembered and it made you happy. During the solo, Mick was admiring you, he adored your concentrating face and he noticed that you were enjoying it. When the band finished the song you were still in shock how good it had turned out. Mick was clapping as well as the others.
"Wow, (Y/N)! It was hell of a solo." Robert, the singer congratulated. Isabelle was the bass player, Tim the drummer who owned the garage. You ran your fingers through your hair in embarrassment. You still didn't get used to compliments regarding your play.
"Thanks. And are you sure Mike isn't angry?"
"Nah. He said it's pretty cool that the girlfriend of Mick Mars will substitute him." Tim snickered. "Also, he is apologizing for not being here. His mother didn't let him."
"Poor little 22-year-old boy." Isabelle chuckled putting down her bass. She walked over to you and took Mick's precious guitar from your hand.
"Don't worry. I won't smash it on the floor." She yelled seeing the guitarist's facial expression.

Halloween. Costumes, candies, and spooky decoration everywhere. You wished you could dress up as a witch or something cause that fluff you called your hair was hidious. Vince lent his bandana as a mascot and Mick one of his guitars.
"I look horrible." You looked in the mirror dealing with your hair.
"Babe, this is how we normally look on stage. You look badass. Also, very sexy." He murmured to your neck hugging you from behind.
"He is right, sis." Isabelle came back to the dressing room with a bigger fluff. You held your hand over your mouth not to laugh loudly. You noticed that Mick's was in the same state.
"I think I will go. Find those idiots and keep an eye on them." Mick said while pressing one last kiss on your cheek and left the room.
"(Y/N)! Listen, you will be great. Just remeber to relax. Take a deep breath and the key is to enjoy. Concentrate on the music, feel the music. Watch Mick, pretend you two are the only ones in the room." She placed her hands on your shoulders looking in your eyes.
You were the last one who stepped on stage and the crowd were already insane.
"Alright, alright ladies and gentlemen. Before we start this hella concert, I would like to introduce our temporary guitar player, (Y/N). You will see a powerful sister duo on stage tonight. Prepare yourself. The show is beginning. Are you READY?" Robert screamed in the microphone as the crowd shouted as one person.
During the concert you felt an energy which you couldn't compare to anything. You felt powerful and you thought you could accomplish anything at that moment.
"I would be scared if I were you, Old Man." Vince stated as he was watching you from the side of the stage with Mick. "We might get you replaced with (Y/N). She is sexier." Mick kicked the singer in the ankle making him groan.

Batman/P5 Crossover
-Sometime before Akechi but after Futaba or Haru
-Damian is sent to Tokyo to check it out for whatever reason (maybe they had a fight, or he’s going stir crazy, or he’s just the only one they can send at the time and didn't bother with all that "you're not old enough" business)
-Dami is younger than Futaba by a year or three or four
-He is baby
-He is transferred to Shujin as a child prodigy where he also immediately joins the "outcast" community because of his attitude and intelligence
-Talia goes too, manages to cut off all his communications with the Batfam, and is planning to take him home in a month whether he likes it or not
-For whatever reason, Batfam doesn't realize this??? (Like, either she's faking reports or they're too busy (think fight or chaos in Gotham scenario maybe???))
-Anyways, obviously Dami doesn't want this
-Somehow the Phantom Thieves hear about the situation
-Maybe he was assigned to shadow Makoto for a while, and they managed to overhear a phone conversation either to Talia or Dami trying to get in touch with the Batfam and nothing really working
-And eventually they outright see him fighting with his mother with him at some point (either in person or over a phone call) mentioning that she already disowned him, he's happy with his Father's family, and that he will head her family business over his dead body—and oh would you look at that, you already managed that, care to try again Mother?
-The PT's are understandably alarmed

-The palace is basically a fortress full of assasin ninjas and clones
-Dunno what her keywords are tho

-Cognitive Bruce, Ra's, Damian, Dami clones, and Jason (maybe rest of batfam??? Idk)
-Long story short, the traps are so assassin-y that they need someone who knows the actual Talia because egads, this is the closest they have all come to actually dying
-And they didn't really want to do it and were just gonna power through
-But Dami manages to find out and get in and of course uses his background to help out whether they like it or not
(-he's slightly off put by Joker's name, but then decides to just solely call Gotham!Joker "The Clown")
-At some point they are captured by the Shadow Talia who is decked out in super fancy traditional Arab clothing and probably every conceivable hidden weapon known to man
-Talia says Damian won't and can't ever change from who he "is meant to be", referring to him as her Alexander and basically brutally addresses all of his insecurities concerning the batfam and people and society in general
-And all this is kinda killing him cause he still loves Talia despite the fact that she killed him and had a violent citywide custody battle with Batman but he also loves the batfam too even if he would absolutely never admit it (except to maybe Grayson)
-Joker does his emotional kick-start thing and/or Dami is like Makoto and just gets so mad he triggers it himself, but either way, lo and behold, Damian is now a persona user, usurping Futaba's place as the baby of the team
-The outfit is kinda inspired by his future adult league outfit with the top and bottom and gold jewelry, but has a raggedy cloak with dull gold edges, a Robin mask and gauntlets, and his main weapons are batarang-sword hybrids
---acknowledging his past and moving on with his present
-Persona: Aladdin, Tsun Zu, Ali Baba, somone else???? Need ideas plz help
-Probably the fastest member of the group
-His small body makes his hits not as strong, but hoo boy can that kid move around
-Hits a lot and dodges most
-Most of his Persona abilities are physical and have high crit and/or are status affects
-Downside is he has not a lot of SP (compared to the rest of the group)
-And he has pretty good HP
-Those good ol' “superior genetics” have to be good for something after all
-Anyways they escape to find the treasure another day
-And Dami is all smug because HA you definitely can't stop me now
-And the PTs are just resigned to keeping an eye on the extremely competent snotty assassin/vigilante child
-They do like him though so it's not too bad (comes with learning all his darkest secrets via his mother and thought processes that tends to accompany watching someone at their lowest get a persona)
(-They do manage to temper him a bit and help him adjust better to actual society too that's nice)
-As such, they also know about Batman and Robin and his whoooole family. Both sides.
-Damian decided not to tell batfam because he does agree with the whole "most adults suck" mentality that the Phantom Thieves have; despite his deep, deep respect for his father and mother and Grayson, they all do kinda suck
-And he’s rather not get pulled out as he surely would if he told them
(-On a side note, he likes Sojiro
-The man gives him coffee, curry, and leaves him mostly to his own devices
-Instant win)
-He is dubbed "Mockingbird" apon return to the metaverse because of his freaky talented vocal skills in mimicking anyone and everyone's voice
-Eventually, they beat Talia
-She doesn't publicly confess to all her sins unlike everyone else
-PTs don't realize it worked until Damian came into school with a genuine smile on his face, and more relaxed than he'd been since he got there
-PTs are confused until Damian's like, this works out because hey, don't want to have several people assassinated and draw the entire freaking league to Tokyo
(-Which was probably why Talia didn't)
-They agree
-But she does break down to tears in Dami's arms and promise to ACTUALLY TALK CIVILLY with Bruce to try and make up for everything and try to fix up the league
-He stays for the rest of p5
-But steers all his reports very much away from the Phantom Thieves
-If anything, he downplays absolutely everything, and makes it seem like it's nothing super big but he's gonna stay a while to keep and eye out because y'alls are busy and I like it here and I haven't gotten expelled so there
-The PTs like to add funny stuff on there just to see if they’ll notice
-Like, Akira likes to have Dami describe his day in excruciating detail. Like, recounting the entirety of his nine or so months to Sae during police interrogation, excruciating
-Mona is pushing for the shiny stuff
-Yusuke just likes to put in bursts of randomness (Dami once mentioned that an acquaintance made another acquaintance T-pose in a church for art lol)
-Ann loves to rant about food
-Haru is always insisting on about feelings
-Ryuji likes to complain about everything and puts in ridiculous requests
-Futaba is just putting in every gen-z thing ever
-Makoto is actually responsible and tries to get him to talk about his progress in school and his social life
-And Akechi is absolutely nowhere near any of this and doesn’t know it exists
-When they have the Tokyo/Japan-wide calling card, Batfam sees it too because let's face it, that's totally the sorta thing that they would keep an eye out for even if he didn't look at the news in the entirety of the time Dami was in Tokyo
-And they send a message to Damian (the first actual communication they've had since before Talia) saying "WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON OVER THERE????"
-And with the entirety of the Phantom Thieves looking over his shoulder, Damian's just like "Chill dudes, everything's fiiiiiiiiiine"
-And they're like "UH WHAT PART OF THIS IS FINE????" because they've dug around a bit and found every news report, and oh hey, this isn't anywhere near as calm as Damian described and he’s being super OOC and what’s going on?!?!?!?!?!
-And Damian, being egged on by the most of the PTs, just sends a winky face
-Just
-😉
-And he's smug, because it's still chaos over there so they can't actually come get him and try to pull him out because he's being super ooc
-Which means he's free to do what he wants/needs in the meantime
-Cue the end of the game
-And Dami is going with them on their summer road trip and cackling because the batfam is scrambling to find him in Tokyo but lol nope he's in a van the Japanese government tried and fail to follow
-And he found all the trackers like, a year ago
-Every
-Single
-One
-They eventually track him down to Akira's house where they're calmly eating dinner (and they've been expecting this for the past week so Mona was keeping watch just so they could pull this off) and talking about how uneventful the school year was
-Cue mass confusion in the batfam
-As the PTs enjoy just confusing them so much
-By talking to Mona
-Talking normal then crazy then normal again
-And just generally being their normal selves lol
-They explain absolutely nothing beyond gushing about how much progress socially and academically he’s made (gotta embarrass the baby of the group somehow) and making sure that if Dami absolutely has to go home that he's able to stay in touch
(-Later, Damian forms his own hero persona outside of Batman and Robin)
(-He names it Mockingbird)
(-Batfam proceeds to have a brain aneurysm while the PTs dab their happy proud tears out of their eyes on their regularly scheduled tea time at the Wayne Manor)
(-Damian sends a private plane every week or two lol)

Let's get to this one by one, shall we?!
Jason's circus heritage in pre-crisis canon was "stolen" from Dick.
Jason being killed by Joker was "stolen" from Dick. You know that, right?! That the Joker almost killed Dick, so Bruce fired him. And when the new Robin didn't take with the readers (because he was too similar to Dick!) DC used the same plot device as was used on Dick. DC even ran a poll to decide if Jason lived/died. If the 'lives' poll had won, Jason's Joker storyline would have remained EXACTLY the same as Dick. But you are right, dying IS Jason's one big storyline. Isn't that why the actor playing Jason's first live action appearance and his fans can't wait to see a teenager be brutalised onscreen? At least, he is 19 in the show and not 14-15 as in canon. Small mercies.
You won't find me disagreeing that Kon shouldn't be on a team with Dick. Kon is Tim's gen; there is Garth, someone who can take Superman, in Dick's team. Kon is a downgrade for Dick's Titans🤷
COURT OF OWLS? Now, you are embarrassing yourself. It was Dick's storyline. Just do your research, dude. Snyder had to reconfigure it for Bruce 🙄
Hush?! When has Hush been a Dick villain?! Hush is a Gotham villain. If Dick is in Gotham, Dick gets involved. While we are on the topic of Gotham's villains, Dick has a more antagonistic relationship with Two-Face and Joker (until Jason's death which, come to think of, still didn't make Joker someone Batman actively tried to get rid of; unlike Dick, who actually killed him once😁) than any other Batfam; you know, because these two villains almost killed Dick. We can have a whole day's conversation about Dick's villains being appropriated for the Batfam.
"faking his death"? Dick died. Simple. Bruce "faked" his death. Don't be like Jason, Tim and Babs, yeah. Tim didn't even know something that happened in front of the whole world. Stan them, but be better than them. Such a selfish lot.
"stealing being an assassin from Cass and Damian"? Don't know about Renegade, do ya? Well, that has been established before, so yeah. Also, Dick's Robin was being called and written as an absolute "ninja" decades before Cass and Damian were even a thought in some DC creator's mind.
Dick stole the Titans being a team from Justice League? Oh sweet child! The Justice League was built on the lines of the original Dynamic Duo - Bruce's Batman and Dick's Robin. You really think Bruce is the team building sort?! Good one, mate. There is a reason why Dick's Robin is a constant presence in Justice League missions 😉
Batman stole his everything from Zorro and Phantom😂 Dick's Robin borrows from classical literature😉 The differences and similarity in imagery itself speaks so much to both their origins.
Dick's parents being shot was first used by Miller. You can fight it out with him- but you will have to join the line at the very end, Dick's fans have first dibs, and we have far too many issues with Miller's take. As for its use in the Nightwing Annual, the Court of Owls is reconfiguring Dick's memories. Or did you not read and jumped to conclusions at the images? 🤔
Dick has never dated a villain. That IS Bruce's department. He can have it. Vicki Vale and Selina Kyle are Bruce's contemporaries. Bruce was dating them when Dick was 10. If DC writes Dick with Bruce's women, send your "ewww" to DC. Dick's fans AND Selina's fans will join you.
As for "stealing legacies", can we play like kindergarten kids? Okay. Then, Bruce did it first, my Lord. Robin was never Bruce's. It was not Bruce's to fire Dick from. It was not Bruce's to give it away to another kid. AT LEAST, Dick didn't wear the Cowl to thumb his nose at Bruce. Dick put on the Cowl because BOTH times, the guys who put it on first turned out to be murderous. In Jason's case, Dick knew first hand how it felt when someone put on another's mantle and killed just to taint their legacy, didn't he, as Jason had once worn the Nightwing Blue and murdered and triggered a police hunt for Nightwing.
The Batfam fandom needs to look beyond the Batman book, beyond the last few years. If you don't read the actual comics, it's fine - I live in a country where I can hardly ever find DC and if I do get, they are 4x the US price. But Google is free and so are the DC sites. Happy Reading. Cheers!!!

Marbled Roses
~°Entry #: 001°~
Author's Note: As this is just the introduction, don't expect much sex or porn or anything from this. This is just to get this story on the right track.
Alex smiled excitedly, slamming a thick script and a fairly new camera on the rough wooden table in front of his friends while they ate their lunch. "I have made something amazing." He said, still smiling excitedly and his eyes shining brightly.
Tim raised an eyebrow, humming a bit, "And this amazing something is...?" He asked, eating a few of his fries with an amused smile.
"A script, duh." Alex said in a tone that said it was obvious, sitting down with them, "I have been working on it for, like, the past six months or so and I finally have it perfect."
Jay looked at the cover, "'Marbled Roses'?" He asked, raising an eyebrow and looking at Alex curiously.
"It's gonna be a romance movie!" Alex said in an excited tone. He was so pumped to get the filming started. He wanted to get everyone he knew to help out in some way.
"How original." Tim said with a snicker, rolling his eyes a bit. He shook his head a bit, eating on his food.
"Hey!" Alex said, huffing a bit and glaring at Tim. For Alex, romance was good and fun to write, why did everyone hate it so much?
Brian snickered, "So, what's it about?" He asked, eating one of Tim's fries like it was no big deal. They were best friends after all and they shared just about everything.
"I'm glad you asked." Alex said, moving the script over a bit. "So, throughout the whole film, the main character is pining after this really pretty girl, right?" He asked, "Well, his best friend is also pining after this girl and they both are competing to see who can impress her more, mostly for fun. Then, the girl falls in love with another guy, who is highly disliked by the two friends because the guy is rude and hateful to the guys when the girl isn't around, and is rude to the guys and says some awful things to them...but they end up realizing that through their little competition they had fallen n love with each other and it ends all sweet and nice like that. The two guys falling for one another is going to be a big plot twist, it won't be obvious throughout the movie." He explained, smiling at all of his friends with an overabundance of enthusiasm.
"I like the idea..." Jay said with a soft, small smile, trying to be supportive. Alex may not have had the most creativity to write this, but he sure as hell had the passion to make it and that was admirable.
"Okay, wait, so through the whole film, the two guys slowly fall for each other and it isn't obvious at all?" Brian asked, making sure he had it right. He liked that idea. Most LGTB+ films were over dramatic and either depressing or insulting. That, and Alex tended to ramble on when he was excited and words blended together sometimes.
Alex nodded, "Yep!" He said, "Because everyone assumes a character is heterosexual, I want their first impression to be wrong. That little tid bit will be a good shocker in the end." It was obvious how excited he was, his eyes shining bright and a big smile on his face.
Tim hummed, "I would watch it." He said, shrugging a bit, "Sounds like it will be a really great movie." He knew Alex normally wrote things and didn't see them through, but this time he seemed comitted and even extremely excited.
Brian smiled softly, "So, who are you thinking for the lead and his best friend?" He asked, eyes darting to the camera on the table.
"Well..." Alex started, looking over at Jay, "I was thinking, maybe...you and Tim could play those parts...?" He asked slowly, giving them an awkward smile.
The two sputtered for a moment, looking at each other then back to Alex again. "Why us?" Tim asked incredulously, looking at Alex almost like he was crazy. Brian was blushing a bit, though it was soft enough that it wasn't noticeable.
"Think about it!" Alex said, "You two are the closest best friends I know and you both are gay. You were made for these roles!" He wouldn't say it, because they both would deny it until they were blue in the face, but he also wanted them for the roles because they always gave each other these...long,.loving looks and playfully flirted while simply calling it 'playful bantering'.
Brian huffed and rubbed his face, "I..." He sighed, "I guess I don't have a problem doing it if Tim doesn't." He said, looking over at Tim.
The other sighed, "Fine." He grumbled with a soft blush on his cheeks, "I guess I don't mind either." He said, looking at Alex with a sigh.
"Who are you thinking of asking to play the girl?" Jay asked, trying to change the subject for Tim and Brian.
"Oh!" Alex said, "I was thinking of asking that girl in my film class, Jessica Locke...do you guys know her?" He asked, raising an eyebrow and not getting a nod or anything from Tim and Brian.
Jay nodded and smiled a bit, "Yeah, I have most of my classes with her. She usually keeps to herself, but sometimes we do group projects together. She is really nice, I'm sure she would say yes." He said, humming a bit. She was always interested in being part of someone else's film, even if she wasn't going to play a part as an actor.
"That's awesome!" Alex said, smiling at Jay, "Can you ask her for me?" Jay sighed, but nodded and smiled.
"I think this film is going to be really great." Alex said, holding the script. "You know, when I was writing it at three am, I got up to get some snacks and use the bathroom and when I came back, there was a marbled red and blue rose sitting on the script. It's what gave me the idea for the name." He said with a smile.
"There was just a cut rose sitting on your script? Just randomly?" Tim asked, "And you don't find that suspicious at all."
Alex shrugged, "Yeah...?" He said in an unsure tone.
"Alex, that is really, really weird." Jay said, chuckling nervously a bit. It gave him an uneasy feeling in the pit of his stomach.
"Were any of your windows or doors open?" Brian asked, a concerned look on his face. All he could think was that someone might have been stalking Alex and broke in.
Something about this 'randomly appearing' rose he saw made them all uncomfortable. Like someone...or, rather, something, was stalking Alex. It could've been as simple as it was taped up on the wall and fell, too. But Tim, Jay, and Brian couldn't deny the nagging sense that something wasn't right.
Alex noticed their concern and rolled his eyes, "Guys, relax. No windows were open or broken, no doors were open, no locks were picked. No one was in my dorm, but me. Everything is fine. And besides," he said, "it's just a pretty rose...its not like its gonna kill me."
