YEONJUN | BAD BOY × GOOD GIRL

came in my mind in the shower. yes. I just feel that yeonjun would def be the popular guy, carries around a leather jacket and has dyed hair and everything, and hangs out with his cool friends who skip class all the time etc etc. and then he sees you, so pretty and in the moment, and you're always so composed and kept to yourself that it's almost like an immediate form of intrigue for him. it's weird that he's so into you when you've never spoken. and he's like....wtf. it's like, exchanging prolonged glances during class and accidentally brushing against each other's shoulders while walking in the halls. you know that you, the well known rule follower, could never talk to someone like yeonjun, the well known rule breaker. and yet, you broke that self made rule for the first time when he came by your locker to give you a note and ask you to a date—which seemed so out of character for yeonjun. maybe you're the first one he'd follow traditional ideas for.

SOOBIN | ACADEMIC RIVALS

I said it before I'll say it again. SOOBIN ACADEMIC RIVALS AGENDA !! even wrote a whole fic 😭 I just think he's so neat as the school's pride and joy; has no trouble completing assignments and meets deadlines, and totally leaves the class speechless with how fast he finishes tests and exams. but then, his cool and calm persona breaks when he sees the class cheering for you during the timed group math assignment you have to do on dust boards. and he glances to his side of the board. how the fuck did you finish that before him? and so the unspoken rivalry continues as you tend to beat him more in assignments, draws being exclaimed for the both of you in awards supposed to be for one winner, and so on. and unspoken feelings tend to blossom when soobin finds himself growing weak at the scowl you make when you don't understand a question, or the proud smile you wear facing him yet again.

BEOMGYU | ROCKSTAR + finding each other in a raw moment

cuz I'm just a teenage dirtbag babyyy. giving rodrick heffley vibes. probably would put all his allowance in buying a guitar n amp. didn't take lessons so now he's on the road to self learning 💪💪 feminist !!!!! ok but all jokes aside, he'd be late to a practice, cycling on the empty road when he sees you, walking with an armful of books because unlike mr teenage dirtbag you actually take school seriously (do you see where I'm going with this?), and he'd miss a rock on the road, causing his bike to stumble and fall, crashing right into you. so now the two of you lay on the floor, joints scratched and head aching as you scowl at each other. "what the fuck, choi beomgyu?" and he'd see you, pretty as ever, in the evening light, cheeks pink in the most perfect way and hair perfectly set up; as if you were going somewhere. when he notices your tears. "are you crying?" and you look away, angry that you let it show.

"why do you care?" you would ask, irritated, collecting all the books you dropped and trying to rub your eyes clear of all tears, probably smudging some make up along the way. and beomgyu would help you, helping you dust your outfit and overly apologizing. he didn't understand who would hurt you, but it struck a nerve in him. enough to ask you what happened, and offered to cycle you home. he's already late to practice, so does it really matter if he misses it or not? and when he finally drops you home, you give him a hug, thanking him for being so sweet (after almost running you over 😒😒).

and maybe that pulls choi beomgyu's heartstrings to play an unfamiliar melody that echoed in the empty, sunlit streets as a small smiled plastered over his face, exchanging a glance before you shut the door behind you.

TAEHYUN | FAKE DATING

it just. makes sense. he's so not into you and you're so not into him. but holy shit, the rest of the school is. and you're like, let's give them what they want, right? esp when you want to get back at your ex for being such an ass to you during your breakup. y/n redemption arc but make it hotter. and taehyun was perfect, since he needed his friends to stop teasing him for being the only one who hasn't dated anyone yet. match made in hell, right? well, romantic feelings can be lucifer themselves, because when you and taehyun shared a secret (or not so secret) kiss right on the kitchen counter at yeonjun's party, shit turned weird. because last you recall, taehyun's scent wasn't lurking in your mind like it did that night, and he couldn't get the feeling of your lips smiling against him while the background blurred around him. and he distinctly remembers pushing a hand against the dozen cameras flashing around the two of you as all the people you tried to spite watched—as if you two were actually a thing. and god, explain the feeling of his heartbeat in his throat that he couldn't get rid of—as your eyes met, causing his mouth to go dry—if you guys were just acting?

a match made in hell, right?

HUENINGKAI | BEST FRIENDS TO LOVERS + a lil ♡ triangle

he's the sweetest boy you've ever met, and he watches from afar, a sad glint in his eyes as you try to warm up to your crush, testing the waters with hyuka before you could attempt it on your crush. like, fuck, did you have to grab his tie like that, pull him close and ask "does this do anything or are you just choking?" do you even know what kind of effect you had on him? and hyuka would just sit in a corner, munch on a snack he bought as you would try to impress your crush yet again, only to receive a stupid “huh?” as a response.

hyuka had his moments, moments where he wanted to slap the shit out of the boy, and scream at him “SHE'S INTO YOU, GODDAMMIT!” and spell it out for the clueless asshole, as the more you'd advance at him the more apparently confused he'd get. you were convinced your crush was just dumb, because he couldn't straight up tell you that he's not into you, and seeing you sulk after every obvious hint you dropped riled hyuka up. and he was especially pissed the fuck off when he overheard your crush in the boys' bathroom laugh with his friends at how stupid you were for still trying, even though he was obviously playing dumb to keep you going, making you look stupider.

hueningkai was pissed; at you for not realizing how you deserve better, at your crush for being the biggest douchebag you've ever liked, at himself for not being able to control his heart whenever you were near him, at the fucking WORLD for making his life this complicated.

but maybe patience is the best virtue, because when your crush just laughed at you in front of all his friends when you confessed to him, hyuka has never felt better satisfaction than punching the asshole straight in the face, over and over and OVER again. maybe he ended up in the principal's office with a bloody hand and aching fingers, but it didn't matter next to your (ex)crush's busted lip and bleeding nose.

and it especially didn't matter when you hugged him after he got suspended, because, in his mind, if you'd never love him the same way he loved you, he was still the sweetest boy you've ever met.

I've decided to take fanfic titles from ABBA songs because they're a bop. I left the Reader's body description as vague as possible - mainly to avoid my own dysphoria 😭.

Butcher’s not scary enough to deter Ben from doing what he wants; really, he only sticks around the guy and his crew because he has nowhere else to go, so telling him not to hit a hot piece of ass isn’t going to register in his mind, You’re one of them, on the run, probably traumatized and occupying Ben’s thoughts. Butcher told Ben to fuck off and play nice with his right hand; he was very adamant that you stay as far as physically possible from him. That went into one ear and out the other, “How do you work this thing again?”

Ok, so playing dumb was a low blow, but it worked. You turned your attention to him, mock irritation on your face, “I taught you how to use the remote yesterday,” you stated. Ben shrugged, handing it over to you; he leaned closer, arm set on the back of the couch, “See this button up here, the red one, that’s the power button,” you explained in a child-like voice.

You point to the numbers on the remote, “And if you click these ones, you can type in whatever channel you want.”

He rolls his eyes, “I’m not a kid; you don’t need to explain it like that,” he jokingly sneers.

You pat his head, “I know, I know, but when you get around your age, things get confusing.” When he smacks your hand away, you laugh, settling back onto the couch; you shift closer, “Ok, jokes aside, just type in the numbers of whatever channel you want; it’s not that different from the TVs of your time.”

“My time…I’m not that old, asshat.”

“Could’ve fooled me,” you quip, “Though it would kinda make you a DILF then, wouldn’t it?”

You nod, the surprise look on your face morphing into joy as you hug him tight. The news goes about as well as one would imagine, mixed reception, but overall not as bad as you’d have thought. Neither of you feels the calling to a chapel; you kinda shotgun it, quick trip to Vegas. Ben slips the ring on your finger, it’s not much, but he doesn’t give a shit; when the Elvis impersonator announces you, husband and husband, Ben dips you in a kiss. Your hand comes up to his cheek, stroking it as you seal the deal; he whispers the wedding vows as you part and get back up, “Always.” It’s one word, and it may not mean much to anyone, but to you, it’s a promise.

Anyways. I suppose now it's time to confess my true crimes. I am not wanted in the US. Actually, what happened was accidentally breached the TOS (Cus, who reads that shi???), didn't know, got a warning to delete it, that email got sent to my spam, so I never saw it, proceeded to get banned for a month. Oopsies. People make mistakes.

“What the fuck are you doing Eddie?! Let’s go!”

You look up at Eddie, still on the other side. It takes you a moment to realize what he’s planning - to buy some time. No one signaled the three of you yet to move on to the next phase of the plan, something’s wrong you thought. Your eyes fall on a concerned Dustin and put a put a firm hand on his shoulder. Without hesitation, you grab the rope and climb back to the Upside Down. You fall onto the mattress and quickly get back to your feet.

“Dustin stay!” You point at the kid.

Eddie pulls your shirt to face him, “what the fuck Y/N! get back there!”. You meet his brown eyes, fatigue and fear is all there is. You cup his cold sweaty cheek, “I’ll go with you. If you die, I die. Whatever happens, I’ll always stick by your side”. Before he could reply, you quickly carry the mattress and set it aside, Eddie catches up on you and cuts the rope - preventing Dustin to go with the both of you. You grab Eddie’s arm and both run out.

“No no no no no. Y/N! Eddie!” Dustin screams.

You and Eddie are frantically cycling away from the trailer, now being chased by a huge flock of demobats. He stops into a garage and gets off the bike, you follow. He grips on his spear and shield, a scared exhale escaping his lips. You do the same, grabbing your axe “I have no idea why we’re doing this but let’s-“

“Hope they kill Vecna on time” He interrupts.

“And get out of here” You add.

The demobats are now flying around the both of you. One approaches you and you quickly swing your axe - slicing it into half. You tried catching your breath, but there’s no time as more are now approaching towards you. Fuck.

You keep swinging as endless amounts of demobats attack you. You were both tired, your bodies felt like letting go and just drop but you had to keep going.

You hear a loud scream from Eddie who’s being choked by a demobat and followed by two more that are on both sides of his stomach, feeding on his flesh. As you make your way towards him, you feel a bump on your right pocket, putting your hand inside you grab it and take out your lighter. Looking at it, you remember Lucas talking about how fire scares off creatures from the upside down and killing them completely.

You spot Eddie’s spear that has fallen, you run to it and rip off a piece of your shirt - you wrap it around the end. You place your thumb on the lighter’s flint wheel and quickly roll your thumb down the button. Fire comes out and you lit up the clothed end of the spear. Thank God.

You sprint to Eddie and wave the spear - scaring away the creatures on him. “Get back!” you try to shoo them away. You felt stuck, fear and panic, you don’t know how much time you have left as the fire can go off any second now.

The flames were slowly disappearing and you try lighting it up again and again but the lighter won’t budge. Your heart was raising, this is it. You kneel down to Eddie and grab his hand - closing your eyes, you wait for an agonizing death to come.

Suddenly, you hear large thumps - confused, you open your eyes and see the demobats on the ground dead. “Those assholes did it, it’s over” Eddie says. You smile weakly, a sigh of relief escaping your lips.

Eddie glances over the burnt spear. “How did you light that up?”

“I have a lighter on my pocket, I guess being a stoner has its perks” You joke.

He laughs at your comment but gets cut off by the pain on his sides, making him wince. “Come on. You can put your weight on me, let’s go back” you say, slinging his arm on your shoulder as you lift him up.

“Eddie! Y/N! Oh my god are you guys okay?!” You see Dustin limping towards you.

“You little shit! I told you to fucking stay!” You scold.

You wake up with a headache. You look around and see your surroundings, you’re at the hospital. Beside you is Eddie laying down on the bed, already awake. “You good?” He ask.

“Yup, just my head killing me” You reply.

The door suddenly opens, revealing Dustin and the rest of the gang. You see Mike with who you assume is Will and the girl with superpowers, Eleven.

Dustin excitedly limped over to Eddie’s side and toss the flowers on the bedside table, “We can clear your name”. Eddie faces you with a confused and surprised look, he goes back to Dustin who can’t stay still in exhilaration. “And how are we gonna do that?” he asks.

“Don’t worry dude, we know this guy named Murray. He just came back from Russia and fought a Demogorgon with Will’s mom and Hopper”

Your eyes grow wide, “Hopper’s alive?”

“He’s alive” Eleven replies quietly with a smile.

“Yeah, long story but we’ll talk about it later. Murray will come here tonight to talk to Eddie” Dustin says.

“Are you sure he can clear his name? The whole town is literally against him especially those religious ones” You doubt.

“I’m sure, he’s-“

“Good with words” Nancy butts in. “He helped us with Barbara before” she adds.

It might work you thought. Anything is technically possible now, other dimensions, Hopper’s alive and taken by Russians for Christ’s sake. Eddie has a good chance in this.

“Alright, I guess all we have to do is trust this Murray dude and be patient” Eddie sighs.
