“…a genshin/Harry Potter crossover where reader (still fem) comes from genshin (so she has a vision) and tries to fit in at Hogwarts (would love for it to be set around the Goblet Of Fire so the hp characters in that age start maturing and actually understand what happens around them and aren't little kids , plus, y'know, YULE BALL), would also like for the reader to have a more stoic/emotionless personality with tragic past (so like having scars y'knowww) cuz it makes character building a lot more juicy ahah, but you can write it however you want tho!! (this can be funnier to write if you're feeling a lot creative)”

You’re so fucking happy your Cryo Vision came with you.
You knew you were in a different country, one you definitely had never been to before, but you couldn’t figure out for the life of you where it was at first
Your first guess was Fontaine, but the robes and strange overuse of catalyst weapons (actually, only catalyst weapons??) began to convince you otherwise real quick,
Fontaine was just the closest country you could compare it to
yeah so obviously by the time u realized you shouldn't be waving a sword around, it was too late lmao, u scared the shit out of the potions shopkeeper and had to make a hasty exit
bc for some reason any other weapon than a catalyst is shamed here?? which makes no sense to you, as it seems like their “magic” here could just as easily be channeled into different weapons/items??
u guess not having monsters to randomly fight everytime u just wanna take a walk outside makes for a pretty peaceful world, and specifically this country ”England” or the “United Kingdom”
u had taken a week or so to re-orient yourself to this new world, how only a certain society knew about their magic, how there were no gods here, at least not any u could easily interact with, and that most people your age would be in school still???
while u could choose to pursue higher education or specialize in Sumeru’s Akademiya, basic schooling was still provided in every country in Teyvat up until about 15 years old
but at this point u were willing to do what it took to blend into this world, and u didnt want anyone to be asking how old u were/why u werent in school when you wandered around, so u went to Hogwarts
It also proved to be a good way to acquaint urself with the world/its magic and give u a place to better excuse any social or magical mistakes
But needless to say, u struggled, u had to constantly find some workaround for “magic” from the wands/catalysts in classes
and luckily they took u being a transfer student pretty smoothly, as u were just in time for the “Triwizard Tournament” to be announced and other schools were coming to participate, u easily got accepted in
and the only one who batted an eye at it was the weird old Headmaster, who u already suspected knew more abt u than he was letting on (Dumbledore seemed to have eyes everywhere the more u learned, which made u more suspicious of him too)
you'd been sorted into Slytherin, along with the Russian magical students, (Durmstrang?)
of which you had absolutely no frame of reference for how bad that was, other than being accused of literally being from the Abyss 💀
while the rest of the student body treated u with the basic contempt u learned all Slytherins just seemed to kind of get all the time, ur own house was a little more confusing when it came to you
some were curious abt all the scars, the strange glowing snowflake gem that u concealed on ur hip, what ur country was like and what the magic school over there was like (thank fuck for ur poker face and insane lying skills that made it believable)
(there was absolutely a rumor abt u pulling a sword on Filch at some point, u neither denied nor supported it)
the other half of the slytherins were all uptight about u possibly being a “Muggleborn” and sneered at u every chance they got (some weird blond kid a year or 2 below you??)
or they outright ignored u
tbh u didn't really get much genuine favor between Slytherins just being Slytherins and ur own reputation/cold disposition until Professor Snape saw how good u were at potions a month into this insanity
(it was just basic alchemy? nearly everyone, especially Vision-users, knew how to do it back home? why was it so special here?? u had this kind of question a lot in this world over most things, like the “muggles dont know abt magic” thing, it seem like more trouble than its worth.)
U both got along in the same way a cold-demeanor father bonds with his carbon copy cold-demeanor daughter lol
in which he invited u for tea sometimes out of polite extra teaching for “ur future plans of being a potion master, like myself”
which okay?? u were better than most ur age at potions bc of alchemy (which u learned is taught at higher levels of potion mastery) and its not like you've figured out how to get back to ur world anytime soon
so u just roll with that being ur “future career” for now, it makes the old emo professor happy so u figure why not
And its the first scrap of favor you’ve found here so it works
Tho u did complain at Snape for picking on Gryffindors, saying “ur rlly not helping that Slytherin reputation for tall dark and evil here”
He proceeded to make u clean and reorganize his potion stores for that lol
(Tho he did start to lighten up the more u picked on him abt it, the poor kid with huge round glasses followed you with his huge green eyes for weeks, he seems to be the only one who's really realized ur the one convincing Snape to mellow out)
U begin researching information (thanks to Snape) in the forbidden part of the library abt different worlds/time travel, anything thatd put u close to possibly getting back home
Or, to be honest, a portal would be better, bc youd like to come back here sometimes,
Its not like u have family back home (not any who you'd want to visit), mostly just a few good friends who'd be worried abt u (Childe misses his sparring partner for sure)
Which then leads u to noticing that boy with the black hair and big round glasses (was it smth like,,, harold sculptor? Atp that seems like a feasible name to you bc in this world parents rlly were cruel abt naming their kid “feathery” or smth wild)
Harold and two others, one with fluffy long hair, and the other a redhead,
Were attempting to “spy” on u from behind bookshelves or at tables seated near the forbidden section
U saw them learn the times u came there and how they made sure to match them (tho it seems the redhead got bored easily and begged to eat instead)
You'd actually managed to make friends with some Durmstrang friends in the meantime too
And by that u mean Viktor Krum mostly
Ppl were constantly obsessed with him and he'd managed to escape up the astronomy tower to get some peace and quiet,
Only to run into u reading away, and he'd heard abt ur reputation, and wanted to befriend u
U two got along rlly well, lots of peaceful silences, and chill convos, esp since u guys had some stuff in common
Mostly how ur both foreign to Hogwarts/this country and adjusting still
Anyway that is to say, Viktor teased u abt the ducklings following u around everywhere thinking they were sneaky
And this was a routine u got used to, until it was time for the tournament
You hadnt bothered to put ur name in, u didnt feel like risking ur life for no reason afterall
So needless to say u were pissed when rumors went around abt u putting Harol- Harry's name in the goblet
(u finally learned his name, apparently he's famous for not dying? As a baby?? A powerful tyrant evil wizard wanted to kill him as a baby??? Just,, why)
Not only that but then he was obligated to be in the tournament???
U knew there was smth insane abt this school, bringing back this crazy tournament in the first place, somehow getting Harry's name in the goblet,
but u didn't think they were batshit crazy.
(Dumbledore is not helping his case in your eyes, esp as u suspect he’s got Snape involved in his BS too somehow…)
So needless to say you were going to fix this mess since these seasoned “wizard adults” weren't 😒
You snuck into the Great Hall using a high level alchemy invisibility amulet, and used ur Cryo vision to extinguish the Goblet of Fire 💀
It reset the game, and luckily they were able to resubmit the champions to the Triwizard Tournament and hide away the Goblet before it got tampered with again
Lol u got Harry out of it, and it wasnt until later in the library that u get cornered by the Gryffindor fourth year himself
He admits to seeing u under his invisibilty cloak that night and thanks you for getting him out of that hell, poor kid looks so grateful 😭
But regardless of that, he insists u tell him abt the ice spell u used, how u used it wandless, with no incantation, etc.
You just gave him a small smile (his big green eyes look even more shocked behind the glasses, what, was that old professor right? do u rlly not smile that much?) and tell him he owes u one
He agrees and u go on ur way to the forbidden section
(U dont explain the ice, afterall, who would believe him? You werent even that much older, and only “master wizards” could do what u did)
After that, Harry starts to follow u around a lot more,
much to the annoyance of his redhead friend (Rodrick? Rocky? smth with a R-) and the absolute admiration of the younger girl with big hair
the champions start the first trial, and u help Viktor out with a plan to defeat the dragon and get the egg in one piece (u had lots of experience with monsters after all, and Viktor and Snape, who couldn't keep his big nose out of your business, were simultaneously disturbed and yet not surprised by this information)
it works flawlessly, and that's when you notice the new DA teacher acting suspicious
as the champions gear up for the 2nd trial, u help Viktor try to figure out the egg’s secrets,
Both Harry and Hermione have taken to interrupting ur library research time (u finally learned her name, but not the redhead, he seemed a bit rude tbh so u don't care to know)
after brainstorming (well more like talking at the brick wall that was Snape) with the old potions professor over tea gossip time again, u finally figure out how to get the egg open without screaming, and tell Viktor
Who thanks u by taking u to the Yule Ball, but u only manage the first dance before u get absorbed in the food and the cool decor, and u also convince him to gossip with u in the corner too
(u do appreciate having a reason to dress up at least, as you attempt to imitate the Tsaritsa herself with this dress)
U notice further on into the night that Hermione ran out looking upset, and ur “girl’s girl” instinct kicks in, (regardless of ur neutrality for her, u lie to urself) and follow her outside to comfort her
u talk, and tho ur cold demanour did intimidate her a little, after she realized u were genuinely trying to help her, she took u up on the offer, and asked if u two could be friends since she’s “surrounded by stupid Gryffindor boys all the time”
u agreed amused, and convinced her to join Viktor and u in ur gossip session, which Harry (after humiliating himself on the dance floor), joined in later as well
(You may or may not have iced the floor secretly under the redhead’s and the equally annoying prissy Slytherin blonde’s feet, sending them sprawling on top of each other, so neither would come bother u four)
Over the next week you hear from Hermione’s researching/studying sessions with you that Ron did apologize to her, of which u advised her to get revenge on him anyway lmao
Harry at one point came groaning and complaining to you abt Cedric bothering him abt the egg problem, and u went ahead and gave it to him
Finally the next task was here, something abt rescuing smth underwater that mattered to each of the champions
u were immediately on ur guard when Dumbledore called u and 3 other seemingly random ppl to ur office (but u began to connect the dots after realizing one of them was the little sister of the Fontai- French Champion)
only to deflect the spell that would've knocked u out, and instead pretend to be knocked out
u obv kept ur Vision on u at all times, as always, and realized what was happening as the teachers levitated u all out to the lake
Snape snapped about being the one in charge of you, (and lowkey told u he knew u were awake, did he sound a little,, proud?? no, not Snape surely of all ppl)
Viktor did end up fishing you out, which he said u “looked like a very unhappy drenched old tom cat” while swimming to shore, (u awkwardly pat him on the back for thinking ur the best part of Hogwarts, and then smacked him for getting u kidnapped to go into a freezing lake)
and u also ended up helping Viktor rescue the other girl left behind, and froze some of the mermaids’ tails in the water for their trouble
Fleur was so grateful that she came to hunt you (and Viktor too at the time) for helping her and her sister that she came to thank u two again while at the library
which then led to her sometimes hanging around ur table at the library (everyone avoids it like the plague initially bc of you, but now youve got a gaggle of wizards rotating out all the time, like the younger years Harry/Hermione/Ron, Viktor, and now Fleur)
by the time the third trial rolls around, youve taken to bullying the prissy blonde brat a year below you to keep him from not only bothering Harry and Hermione, but also ur own peace and quiet
The other Slytherins are beginning to warm up to you, or at least not actively ignore you, since you’ve been hanging around Viktor Krum, along with gaining favor from Snape more obviously (he’d plopped a singular towel in ur lap after getting out of the lake, and u might as well have “Snape’s Favorite” written across ur forehead for all that means)
(also some of them may or may not find u roasting the annoying blonde bully kid amusing too)
it isn't until u see the creepy retired Aura (or whatever they call their knights) DA professor milling about the castle more, nearer the Gryffindor tower, that you begin to warn Harry to spread the word among his little lion club to not travel alone, esp in the evenings
(u don't like how his weird rolling blue eye looks thru you, it reminds u of Dumbledore)
by the time the third trial is finally announced, you have ur sights set on that weird old man, and end up following him to his classroom at one point,
in which he cracks open a rattling trunk, tosses some food in, and seems to have definitely stolen what you assume to be the Triwizard trophy
he casts a spell on it, and you put on that same invisibiltiy amulet from alchemy to better follow him, and watch him sneak into Dumbledore’s office to return the trophy
(You break the “portkey” spell you find on it)
(you also leave a note behind on the headmaster’s desk to look into a trunk in the new DA professor’s classroom storage, and to be more careful hiring the next one.)
Harry somehow gets sucked into the maze you find out, and you end up sneaking in to save him, using your sword and Cryo Vision to battle him out
(finally, Archons, you didnt realize how much you'd miss fighting monsters)
Aurors descend upon Hogwarts, only just after the trial ends, and Viktor wins (you trained him too well for him to not, and may or may not have viciously sparred with him a little too much for him to not be a little afraid of the consequences of losing after you helped him so much lol)
Just as Harry is taken in by Dumbledore for questioning of how he got trapped in the maze, he runs back to nearly squeeze the life out of you in a hug, he tells you thanks for helping him again (and forced u to promise to teach him sword fighting or “ice magic”)
Then, surprisingly, the entirety of Durmstrang (and some Slytherins??) haul you up into the air with Viktor to celebrate his victory
(You can see Snape snickering at ur misery in the air)
Viktor and Fleur stay penpals, and the “golden trio” (more like “gryffindor triplets”) sticks around your library table
and you think you could start to get used to this, and Harry, Hermione, and Snape had gotten you a Yule/winter gift
(what’s Christmas. and why is everyone obsessed with decorating trees??)
…that is until Hermione looks over your shoulder one day at your usual reading table, and points to a book you’ve chosen for research,
saying “if you need to make a portal somewhere, that’s the book you should be looking in.”

Do you, or anyone actually, know where/when the '-bowl' sufix started being used in Fandom? Because I can't find any kind of origin, and surprisingly Fanlore doesn't have a article about it (as far as I checked maybe I didn't search well?). I just found and know that it's used for kinda old and relatively new fandoms, thanks to a two-year-old Reddit post.
For anyone who doesn't get/know about the '-bowl' sufix: is basically an All × One thing. For example, if you encounter 'Dekubowl' this means that Deku, the character, is shipped with everyone or that at least everyone else have a crush with Deku.
I can only think of the 'Super Bowl' (just as one comment in that Reddit post suggest) for its origin, but when we talk about Fandom culture we never know. It could have originated from anything no-related to the Super Bowl, LOL.

Ooh, interesting. I've never heard of this in my life, and I have no idea what a -bowl suffix is supposed to mean, even if I guess it has to do with the super bowl.
It's not surprising Fanlore doesn't have this if it's coming from BNHA or somewhere similar. Fanlore is fantastic on the history of Western "Media Fandom", zines, K/S, etc. It's much weaker in areas that OTW early adopters haven't spent as much time in.
You should write the -bowl article yourself!

I went into AO3's tag search and looked for 'bowl'. I found 1311 tags, 90 of them canonicals.
I'm seeing a ton of references to the Super Bowl, dust bowl AUs, pet play with pet food bowls, Dream in the fishbowl, unending uses like "I'm crying into my bowl of cereal as I write this", "bowl of honey nut feelios", "bowl of pornflakes", "me shaking the food bowl of sbi wilbur-centric angst: come get y'all's juice", etc., and plenty of references to YOI katusdon bowls. Lots of fandoms and episodes have 'bowl' in their titles.
Zeroing in on more related things, I'm seeing BNHA over and over and not much else...
EXCEPT!
Fruit bowls!
I see scattered references to "let's add him into that whole fruit bowl" and "the whole fruit bowl is here" and so on. Some of them are crack fic where everyone is a banana, but a lot of them seem to be a metaphor for "everything together".
Okay, I just spent far too much time trying to categorize tags. Out of the 'bowl' ones, about a third appear to be this kind of sense (counting by number of tags, not number of works).
Game of Thrones has a bunch, but they refer (as far as I know) to which characters will hypothetically kill each other and emerge victorious, not to group shipping.
Some tags I found, like 'edelbowl' sounded more like a group ship than an X/everyone. I also found a scattering of tags that were like 'all of them in a bowl together', which is probably related.
But mainly, what I found is that this is from BNHA and it's recent.
The other fandoms where I found it were:
Demon Slayer, Dr. STONE, Naruto, South Park, Fire Emblem, Genshin, HP, Lego Ninjago, My Next Life as a Villainess, She-Ra, Teen Wolf, Tower of God, VLD, A3! (Video Game), Assassination Classroom, Avatar, Batman, Black Clover - Tabata Yuki, Bleach, Blue Lock (Manga), BTS, Bungou Stray Dogs , Dangan Ronpa, Danny Phantom, Detective Conan, Dragon Age, Durarara!!, Fate/Grand Order, How to Train Your Dragon, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Kaiju No. 8 (Manga), LEGO Monkie Kid, Osomatsu-san, Ouran High School Host Club, Percy Jackson, SK8 the Infinity, Soul Eater, The Disastrous Life of Saiki K., Toilet-bound Hanako-kun, Tokyo Revengers, Virtual Streamer Animated Characters, Warcraft, Xenoblade Chronicles 2
That's giving me a very distinctive picture of a fan who's probably in their 20s or 30s, mostly like anime and some video games, and is not the type that edits Fanlore.
There's nothing actually old here: it's recent anime and stuff that is still a megafandom, like Naruto.
I'm seeing a scattering of 'dekubowl' from 2017 and then other character tags taking off in like 2019. This is definitely a recent trend in terminology, at least on AO3.

Nandhini's Legacy - my main AU and the reason why I made this blog in the first place ! This is a Harry Potter AU where the Potter family are South Indian (specifically Tamil [James] and Telugu [Lily]) and the Black family are SWANA . New elements in the story include entirely new fancasts for the entire cast, the introduction of a Magical British Museum (the new primary antagonist besides Lord Voldemort), OC siblings for characters like Harry and Pansy, and several timeline changes .

By the time he arrives at Hogwarts, Harry has already undergone one quest and is only at the institution because of another prophecy (not Trelawney's) . He is accompanied by fellow demigods and witches Yurika Haneda (Slytherin, Hermes) and Poppy Caxton (Hufflepuff, Athena)
My Mortal Companion - the AU in which post-War, Harry retains his title as Master of Death and believes his next destiny is to be the sole Unspeakable in the Death Room since he's the "only one who could do it" . Features Harry's relationships and dynamics with various psychopomps and death deities of diverse pantheons

since you were getting used to kazuha getting all possessive (not that much dw), you start to let him go loose and let him do commissions, world quests, and event quests.
whenever you’d log in, you head to his character profile and talk about the things you dreamed of or the things that happened at midnight, etc.
when your friends heard about kazuha being self-aware, they said they couldn’t help but be jealous, a pretty liyue-Inazuma character that you could lean on? that would be something else, but it’s also hard to have a self-aware character asking everything about you.
but you could understand why, he just wants to take care of you (in-screen??) and help you cope with his calming voice.
today though, a world quest was required for you (kazuha??) to defeat the ruin guards on an island, you thought it was no big deal and that he'd take care of it, after all, he has a strong build and his hp was all good.
scrolling through your phone with headsets on, letting kazuha run loose and defeat the ruin guards, “—to my home..” hearing his voice fade in, “shit!” oh god, he died! what happens if they die? you’ll just have to bring him to a statue of the seven, right?

okay, the next morning, you started to feel a weight on the other side of the bed, hearing soft mumbling.
turning around you see a familiar face sleeping and tumbling around the bed. shrieking at seeing a pretty guy on your bed.
“oh-ohmygodohmygod” jolting upright in bed, he sits up, rubbing his eyes, “love?…” he comes closer to your figure and wraps an arm around your waist, the other hand gently stroking your cheek “so.. pretty.” he leans his cheek on to your shoulder, sighing dreamily as he felt more calm and comfortable with you. “kazuha?” turning your head to your shoulder, “mhm, it is me, dear.” smiling at your endearing face, "wait, how, and why are you here?" tilting your head like kazuha's, but you're confused, why is he here? "I came here to see you, dear." he still has a faint drowsy voice. "how?" you turn fully to kazuha, still seeing he has his genshin armor. "and.. are you comfortable in wearing those clothes to sleep?"
“let’s see, I fainted while fighting those ruin guards at guyun stone forests’ island?” “And yeah, maybe I'm uncomfortable to sleep in these.” you softly giggle to his voice slightly louder, “I think my dad left some decent clothes.. should you change or shower first?” humming, “I'd like a bath,” he moves to your front. leaning closer to your lips.
“with you.” tracing your cheekbone with his thumb, finally able to kiss you, he presses his lips onto yours, kissing you gently.

most likely to isekai himself into the world bc you haven’t been on the game for SO LONG
and then he starts to worry about if you found another game (or another person)
no, but literally before the "happy incident" happened, he already started talking to you about "isekai" and how he could take care of you if that could happen (spoiler: it does wdym)

"ah, how I love it when you say my name.." he lifts your chin with his fingers, he kisses your forehead softly, and strokes your hair. “why are you..?” you started to mutter out words, unable to say them as kaeya was there. right in front of you. just before he says anything, he hugs you and nuzzles his nose into your neck. “I've told you about it several times, love.” yes, you were shocked, but you couldn’t help but place a hand on his head while he was leaning down onto you. “what do you mean?” he chuckles, a response like that is unique. “I told you, I would’ve made a deal with the abyss to get to you, but.. it seems like that it was no need!” - “How did you even get here..?” you ask.
“We can talk about that later,” he lifts your chin as he says so, stroking your lips, “but for now.. let’s catch up on the things we haven’t done.” your lips met with his, though, it was unexpected, you decided to savor the moment.

“i must say, comrade, you have quite the comfy loft!” he speaks, smiling warmly as he turns around to you, standing there in shock as he walks up to you. “uh… tartaglia…?” you tilt your head slowly as you say so, unable to function what is happening. “yes, that’s my name.” he grabs your arm and sits you down on the couch, you stare at the floor. what is happening? did he just touch me? am i real? is this real? thoughts in your head swirled, unable to focus.
“although,” his voice snaps you back to reality. “i’d very much prefer if you were to call me by my actual name.” he smiles. again. god, he looked so cute. “so… i can call you.. ajax..?” you raise your eyes to his face with a slight blush covering his cheeks. he nods, excitedly, “of course! you are very free to call me ajax.”
“well, if you’d like, you could call me something else. you know, like..” he raises his hand to his chin. “you could call me “babe”! or “baby”! that’d be really nice too!” seems that he’s a sucker for nicknames.

Genshin x MHA Crossover Ideas (w/ reader insert)
(These could be fulfilled with using official characters or OCs but I don’t have one (yet) so reader it is)
· Quirkless! Izuku receives a vision from oc/reader/archon.
o Reader could be a god/adeptus (not archon) that helps the archons with their duties and occasionally suggests potential vision bearers to the archons.
o Is transported to the MHA world but is still able to communicate with the other archons while they try to bring her back.
o Is incredibly overwhelmed by Izuku’s passion and ambition and insists on giving him a pyro vision.
o This occurs slightly after Izuku’s horrible doctor’s appointment but before he has to tell his classmates that he is quirkless.
o Reader becomes his trainer and supportive family figure and is close to the Midoriya family.
o Idk what his weapon would be, but he is more of a melee fighter so bow and catalyst are out. With OfA he tends to deal slower but more powerful blasts so I feel like claymore would be best, but he’d have to prepare his body to wield it like OfA.
o elemental skill is a blast of flames that pushes enemies back and he can hold the skill for a bit to control direction.
o His elemental burst summons a flaming storm that causes AoE damage and heals allies that are within a certain proximity.
o His passive talent is called “Never Gives Up” and decreases stamina consumption for all activities (sprinting, gliding, swimming, and climbing) when his HP is over 65%
o His special dish is obviously katsudon.
o While he can manipulate pyro outside of his burst and skill, they aren’t as powerful.
o He was taught to make the elemental potions by oc/reader/archon which allows him to create quick elemental reactions, though he usually works best with anemo’s swirl to amplify the power of his flames.
· Tevyat! Reader gets stuck in MHA! Japan.
o Cyro or anemo vision
§ A healer for one of their moves
o Most likely goes to UA or gains influence through social media.
§ Doesn’t have to be in the hero course.

For ones that I may write in the future, I will try to avoid spoilers, but I don't care too much about scrapped ideas so you can use them if you find them interesting enough. Most of them are crossovers, though, so yeah.

Summary: Two skeletons get lost on the wrong side of Wuwang Hill. A particular starry-eyed funeral director has her eyes on them.
"Come on, I'll help you pass over! What? The afterlife? No, no, pass over the hill, silly! I'm not going to kill you! Hehe, can skeletons even die anyways? Maybe we should find out!"

(What the summary says. Basically an AU where the UT and Genshin universes are the same, monsters are free from the underground and Papyrus and Sans accidentally end up on Wuwang Hill in the middle of the night. At first, Hu Tao, being Hu Tao, did what she used to try to do to Qiqi- bury them, cuz they're already dead. Of course, she quickly warms up to them and realizes that they're not... dead. So this is just crack and fluff.)

1. "Mind Games"
Fandom: Gravity Falls (However, this is also heavily inspired by "Friday Night Funkin': Mind Games" but I wouldn't call it a crossover. More of an AU. Although the Dearests are here.)
Summary: With Stanley being pronounced dead years ago and nobody else to trust, Stanford struggles to find a place to hide his final journal, and worst of all, Bill still has free access to his mind whenever he sleeps, making him hit a complete roadblock. Until, one day, he hears rumours of a real, actual psychic who could help him with his dream demon problem, who is apparently taking temporary residence for a job- somewhere in Oregon.
Meanwhile, Stanley is doing great, or as great as he could. Despite the fact that he's made millions from his service to the Dearests, he's still too afraid to show his face to his family, especially since he had to erase his identity in order to be able to keep his job. His employers assigned him yet another dream demon problem- those had been popping up more and more recently- but who was he to complain? He was doing just great, after all. Even if it was a little lonely.
(Or: Psychic!Stan AU based off of FNF Mind Games. There's A LOT of details and lore here, and psychics work MUCH DIFFERENTLY THAN TRADITIONALLY, but I'll have to make a separate post for this. I can't describe too much of what happens in this fic without there being spoilers. Just watch this.)

Summary/Excerpt:
Boyfriend hissed, barely dodging the attack as the edge of the Gaster Blaster's laser beam singed his shoulder, taking off a good chunk of his HP and causing the red heart representing his chest to flicker as he took damage.
While he wasn't weak enough to collapse from the pain, per se, it didn't mean that he didn't falter, and he paused for a moment, just to catch his breath if not for another reason.
"Just keep attacking," A voice in his head Boyfriend could distinctly recognize as not his own murmured, the tone comforting at first, yet something about how they spoke put him on edge. "Just let me take control, let them get the ending they want, and you can go home to your girlfriend. You want that, don't you?"
H...Home?
G-Girlfriend...?
He had forgotten what his true goal was, having been blinded by curiosity. He wasn't supposed to be making friends. He was supposed to be trying to survive, to get back to his own universe where he was supposed to be...
How had he forgotten that?
If whoever this was could truly offer him this, then...
Remembering what he had lost, and equally tempted by the offer, Boyfriend obliged.
(Or: The Genocide Route of Friday Night Funkin': Indie Cross, from the point of view of a confused Post-Pacifist run Boyfriend. One-shot. Title of the fic and the fic itself based off this banger of a song.)

Boyfriend happily beeped in confirmation, causing Papyrus' eye sockets to widen, but he continued grinning nonetheless.
"NYEHEHEHEHEH! WELL, THE GREAT PAPYRUS NEVER BACKS DOWN FROM A CHALLENGE! I SHALL ENGAGE IN YOUR ART OF... EHH... WHAT WAS IT? RAP BATTLING? RATTLING? AND THEN I SHALL CAPTURE YOU, AND BECOME PART OF THE ROYAL GUARD!" Papyrus was practically glowing as his scarf blew in the wind which came from... somewhere, enthusiasm and determination clear in his voice.
Boyfriend flashed a side glance to Sans for permission, who shrugged and gave him a look which said, 'just go with it.'
Facing back to the taller brother, he beeped once more in agreement, making the other laugh once more.
"SPLENDID!! NOW... PREPARE YOURSELF... TO BE MINDBLOWN!!"
(Or: After the pacifist run of Indie Cross, Boyfriend somehow returns to the Underground in a different timeline, yet Sans still remembers him from their time together. After being stuck in Snowdin after a particularly bad snowstorm, he's been tasked by his newfound friend to entertain his brother. Prequel to the aforementioned fic, Burning in Hell.)

Xiao x S/O, and their Anemo Vision
So, in this discord I’m in, we were fooling around with discussion about the Visions themselves. If a Vision wielder died, what would happen to the Vision? Would It disintegrate? Become just useless shiny rocks? Kept as mementos by their families, buried with their corpses, left to become just another cor lapis-esque rock, or taken as trophies by the murderers and victors or a fight? Or collected by temple maidens? Absorbed into the Statues of the Seven?
A fellow simp told me they saw somewhere that, apparently, Ownerless Visions CAN be reactivated by resonating with someone else, hence their huge price in the market. It kinda makes sense, since apparently Ningguang found one and was ready to sell it before it resonated with her so she was forced to regretfully keep the Vision.
But you know what, it’s ANGST TIME.
Prompt/Summary: Xiao’s Anemo Vision has accompanied him for over three millennia and been his main source of power for so long, so much that almost nobody remembers Xiao - Alatus - for the deadly Adepti arts he used to wield in times before the Archon War. Only Morax and Barbatos remember that his Anemo Vision used to be someone else’s.
AKA That AU where Xiao’s natural and original Adepti Powers (or his Anemo Vision) are his Elemental Burst, while his Anemo Vision belongs to a Lover that died in the Archon War.
See below for the scenarios I prepared.
After their death, Xiao takes up their Anemo Vision and forces himself to integrate those powers within himself (idk if he had an Anemo Vision of his own, since some of the adepti DON’T but still have powers). This could be one of the reasons that his Elemental Burst saps away at his life, either for forcibly mixing two different powers or forcing himself to mainly rely on an alternate source of power from his own.
There are two main scenarios in this angst writing piece of mine:
Alatus (Xiao) is the one who kills his lover.
In his BG, he apparently becomes controlled by another Archon and is forced into killing innocent people, which could include this lover of his. After killing them, he keeps their Anemo Vision (since his “Master” doesn’t care what he does with his trinkets) with him.
In this case, he either becomes enraged, vengeful, bitter and consumed by hatred that he becomes self-destructive while being under their control OR adapts himself into causing immense collateral damage (to kill himself, his “allies” and his current Archon Master ‘accidentally’). Or two, he just... breaks. Becomes an emotionless killing machine that awaits for the day of his death, or awaits for a day where he has the chance to witness the death of the Archon Master, either by someone else’s hands or his own.
Morax kills the Archon and liberates Alatus, who wishes for nothing more than his own death and continues to be self-destructive, thus, cue a contract to keep Alatus alive, which he loathes at first, until Morax brings Barbatos along one day and asks him to reactivate Alatus’ lover’s Anemo Vision.
Alatus forsakes his own Anemo Vision (I assume he had his own, unless he didn’t, like the other adepti aside from Ganyu - who is Cryo - and just had adepti arts) and takes up his dead lover’s Anemo Vision.
Forcing himself to take another’s power while he still had his own causes Xiao’s own skills and abilities to become detrimental to his own life force, but he can’t bring himself to stop, and by the time he has mellowed a tiny bit millennias years later (ex. current timeline in Genshin Impact), it isn’t something he can - nor wants to - change anymore.
Alatus (Xiao) isn’t the one to kill them, his lover becomes just another casualty of war, but he still goes crazy with grief, guilt, hatred and madness when he learns of it.
It might not have been right away, but he learns of it, and goes... not quite insane, but close to it.
He still becomes self-destructive, still becomes guilty and full of self-loathing for not being there and for being a tool to the faction that kills them, but his vengeance outweighs his own self-loathing and suicidal tendencies and he causes larger collateral damage to his faction more in hopes to wipe them all out. He is punished (borderline tortured) for it of course, but he won’t stop because his lover is dead and it’s all their (his) fault, and his faction won’t put him out of their collective misery because Alatus is one of their strongest pawns.
He laughs and laughs and laughs the day Morax kills the Archon Master. Then he vanishes and goes looking for his dead lover’s corpse and possessions. In this case, it takes longer for Morax and Alatus to form a contract because the latter is consumed with an obsession to kill all the demons and to look for the possessions of his lover, who didn’t die in front of him, and thus, he doesn’t know where they are.
Their hometown was probably burned down already, so Alatus is only living on the futile hope of at least finding their possessions, corpse, or Anemo Vision (which would still have been something left behind after their death). Alatus causes more collateral damage obsessively killing the factions of the war and searching for it.
(it’s a race against time for Morax in this case, because if Alatus finds their Anemo Vision in the hands of someone else.... It’s fine if it’s in the hands of an oblivious civilian or an innocent human, but a political human? A war general? A soldier? Or worse, an auction? Boy, Alatus rage.)
Alatus only insignificantly calms down when Barbatos comes along. Morax asks Barbatos to procure and locate their dead lover’s Anemo Vision. Morax bullies Barbatos into reactivating it for Alatus on the condition that he stop his rampages and enters a contract of a Guardian Yaksha.
This binds him to a contract that will minimise the collateral damage he causes in order to protect Liyue, but something that wouldn’t impede him from obsessively killing the demons and factions of the Archon War. Morax doesn’t force Alatus to accept the contract, but he doesn’t need to, Alatus accepts willingly because what they offer - reactivating his lover’s vision - is something too tempting for him, and they DID find their Anemo Vision. He accepts, no matter how it would destroy him in the end.
(And it does - Xiao cannot use his own powers anymore without them sapping at his life-force, without the pain, without feeling two different powers/Visions clashing inside him.)
This version of Xiao is less suicidal, but holds a far deeper grudge against those of the Archon War and mourns his lover’s death just as deeply.
To be fair, Morax and Barbatos probably didn’t realise Alatus would rip out his own Anemo Vision and take up his dead lover’s for his own. After they realised it, it was already too late.
(alternatively, XIao’s former powers have become so corrupted and become something sinister and darker and start to sap away at his life if he uses his former Anemo Vision, so taking his lover’s Anemo Vision isn’t his original idea, but something Morax/Barbatos came up with.
So in this case, he still possesses his lover’s Anemo Vision and uses it most of the time or it becomes something that calms him and his powers down, while his original powers are his Burst, which still continues to sap away his HP/life if he uses it.)
Alatus/Xiao is grateful to Morax and Barbatos. A lot.
