HOLY SHIT! One year since Encanto? Huh.
Well, happy one year to one of the disneys finest and one of my favorite Disney movies AND one of my favorite MOVIES 💖🕯🦋

I just came up with this slightly angsty but sweet idea about the platonic yandere madrigal family obsessing over a reader that's the child of Bruno.
-Pepa, Julieta and Alma would all be the most protective over them, especially if they looked identical to Bruno.
-Dolores and Mirabel would without a doubt be the best friends of them, Mirabel would know what it's like to feel like an outcast since the people most likely aren't treating the reader very well due to their relation to Bruno. I imagine Dolores would definitely be a great best friend too, she hears everything people say or murmur about them so I imagine she'd be painfully aware of how the people treat reader. Since she's also a platonic yandere in this like the rest of the family I can totally see her blackmailing people with stuff she's heard about them whenever they talk crap about reader.
-Dolores would definitely also be the one to comfort Reader as she can hear their crying from how they're treated every night.
-Bruno would definitely watch over his child in secret, he'd never want to miss even a second of their life
-Julieta would definitely fuss over their injuries, even if it's something like a paper cut. So would Alma and Pepa.
-Isabela would without a doubt nonchalantly roast the crap out of anybody that dares to to think it's a good idea to talk crap about you to her. She'd do it with a tone in her voice that says "I'm better than you and you should know that" all the while subtly roasting them in the process. They'd never recover from it lmao
-Camilo would definitely do his best to make them laugh whenever they're feeling down, he'd shapeshift into various people and do funny impressions of them
-Antonio would be absolutely adorable, he'd totally get his animals to comfort Reader whenever they're feeling down, too.
-I can see Luisa just randomly picking up reader whenever there's a puddle so they won't have to step in the puddle lol.
Happy 1 year Anniversary to Encanto!!
I thought this would be the perfect time to share with you all my drawing of Mirabel that I did at the beginning of the year!!
ANIMATED TOONTOWN PARODY OF
"We Don't Talk About Bruno"
I've been working on this project over the last 9 months with a tremendous crew of talented artists and singers within the Toontown community. This is an absolute labor of love, and I hope you enjoy our love letter to Toontown.
[Specifically, I'm the lead writer for the lyrics, and I'm the singer for the yellow duck. :) ]

🕯The Madrigal Sisters🕯
MAN finally able to make some fanart!! Encanto is such a great film abt generational trauma n the music n designs slap so hard??? This is like one of the few latest Disney movies I rly enjoyed n would rewatch :)
i’m rlly glad with the way luisa was portrayed in encanto. bcus she is strong, she is built muscly and broad and tall. BUT she also wears dresses and doesn’t have a ‘boyish’ hairstyle. she isn’t masculine. she’s feminine.
yk a lot of women in fiction who are portrayed as strong are always immediately made to be masculine as well. and obviously this solidifies the “men are strong” stereotype. women in fiction who are muscly, or who are fighters or who are strong are almost ALWAYS portrayed as masculine but luisa isn’t.
women can be strong and feminine. women can be muscly and wear dresses. and that strength that’s “all so masculine and man like (/sarc)” doesn’t take anything away from their womanhood/femininity.
because people where asking for it, a part 2 to this post!
the colours where a lot harder to match, but i hope everyone likes it
and again, background under the cut because it looked nice
