Encantober 2022

Day 04: Modern Outfit

I'm new on this platform, so I haven't really talked about my fanfiction yet.

Story: Basicly, Mirabel ran away on Antonio's birthday, and ten years later, after certain events, her cousins and sisters go after her.

Araya (one with the afro) and Leilah (one with glasses) are my OCs, and there is an explanation for Antonio's choices in a character sheet I have yet to upload here.

I will somewhat after Inktober, along with most of the family. (I have a hard time finishing the last few characters) You can read it on my Instagram page though.

I couldn't help but draw my chaotic trio for today's theme. Leilah, Antonio, and Araya.

(Ignore the height difference between them; it ain't really like this. I scruved it at the previous one as well [the outcast one]. Coming from that, Leilah is like Antonio on that one, while Antonio's like Araya, and she's somewhere between the two.)

I can confidently say they would be an alt-fashion trio. Can't imagine them any other way.

Leilah would definitely be a goblincore girl. Her go-to outfit would be a long skirt, a long-sleeved shirt, and an oversized T-shirt, obviously. And we can't forget the platform shoes. Of course, a handmade bag to collect her treasure is a must.

Antonio would be the most restrained. He'd mostly dress like this here as well, just to piss off Abuela, just like in my fanfic. He'd have an elegant but still casual outfit, with some accessories making him pop.

Araya is definitely a mixture of cool, mature goth and weirdcore. The layered peticoat and crunchies are a must.

At last, the fourth wdtajn entry for the song theme. Did I go all the way to draw a painfully tiny rat orchestra because Carmina Burana is pretty much the only musical piece I'm playing at my orchestra? Yes.

With that said, I truly enjoyed the wdtajn event, I drew things I never would have drawn otherwise and I'm so glad for the experience and for seeing so much new Encanto content :D

Madrigal triplets besides being my faves they also share birthday 17th of October and that day here in Colombia we celebrate the ethnicity day which is so cool considering that all of the triplets even if they are siblings resemble different features and tone skins what is very Colombian if you ask me lol but is also funny that their birthday coincide with this celebration besides the tragic beginning of the thousand days war date. I don’t know but for me was cute sharing this with the Encanto fandom family 🥺🙈😇 it would be nice if we get some Q&A from Jared and beautiful fan arts from this talented fandom.

It's almost like there's a curse in the Madrigal family. As if someone had to take all the hatred in order for everyone to be loved. If this is the case, someone had to take the part of the "outcast" after Mirabel left.

Who else, if not the youngest Madrigal, Antonio, would it be?

At least he has a human friend too, in the face of Araya.
