Yandere Fl4k x Mini VH! Platonic Reader hcs.

You saw that he had animal companions and begged him to let you join him on his hunts. He allowed you, with the only exception that he wouldn't have to take care of you specifically. For now

Part of his whole obsession was seeing you so involved in the thrill of the hunt and taking care of his animals.

He felt himself caring for you like he cared for his animals, and obsessed for you more than he did about pleasing death. He felt, weird. Doesn't understand why he wants to care for you, so he seems gruff and unpleased until he finds out why he cares for you.

Once he finds out that he has an obsession, he just,, locks you into the Vault hunter room. What are you going to do? Leave?

I'm not joking though, he just locks you in the room for vault hunters and then leaves.

You're confused, maybe he just left you by accident, so then you try to get to him by the echo-net and he tells you that he wants to take care of you, so just stay there until he comes back.

He doesn't expect you to give him affection though, he just wants to nurture you and care for you until you become a worthy adversary for Death herself.

Because of his animals, you will at least have a companion that isn't CL4PTR4P! So, you got that going for ya'. One of the few yandere Vault Hunters from BL3 that doesn't have BAYLEX or CL4PTR4P watching you, so yippee!

Because of your time hunting together, he knows how you would navigate any traps he set out for you in case you escape, so you can't escape, for you would immediately get trapped again in which case, his animal companion tells him immediately and flips between lecturing you on not escaping your room, or explaining how to escape the trap to become better for Death.

He is one of the few Yanderes where Escape and even a normal life is possible. As long as you go hunting with him.

The better one to go with would probably be Rhys.

Rhys genuinely wants the best for his darling and is very dedicated to you.

Katagawa Jr. is a different story... he's always had trouble making friends.

He tried to force friendship from Rhys by buying out Atlas.

While Rhys is caring and tries to give you everything from the bottom of his heart...

Katagawa Jr. would do anything from bribing to murder to obtain your heart.

Katagawa is a firm believer in buying what he wants.

Just name the price of your heart and he'll pay it.

The idea of stealing you from Rhys is a nice benefit in his eyes.

Rhys is going to try and tell you that Katagawa won't treat you well.

With Rhys he offers you all of what he has, no bribing required!

You could ask him for anything and he'd do it.

Rhys says Katagawa is trying to give you money and gifts to keep you obedient like a pet more than love.

If that's true or not doesn't matter to you...

You're scared of your situation.

Sure, Rhys is genuine...

Yet Katagawa is rather persistent.

Katagawa keeps contacting you, preaching ways for you two to work things out.

He could give you so much more than Rhys...

You just have to leave Atlas and come to Maliwan, then he'll shower you in affection.

The sad part is he probably thinks you're supposed to buy your love's heart.

As said before, he is horrendous with connecting to others.

Rhys, being as insecure as he is, is praying that you don't fall for Katagawa's offers.

He's hoping you care for him enough to not toss him aside-

Katagawa's motives could be just to get back at Rhys.

That or maybe he has fallen for you.

Whatever the motive for the both of them... you hear them talk about you on their calls a ton.

They fight like children over the phone.

You start to wonder if they both see you as a person or not.

The two men have a ton of power.

Rhys managed to grow Atlas since he took over.

Katagawa killed his family members to get where he is.

You want to run away...

But how do you hide from two powerful CEOs like them?

Rhys will look for you with help from Zer0 and possibly a Vault Hunter.

Katagawa has COV on his side due to a deal.

Katagawa is more than willing to spill blood to get what he wants.

Rhys is hesitant with all the violence for a moment, yet he thinks of you...

It quickly becomes worth it.

The war between them on Promethea becomes more than just business.

It's not just because Katagawa can't buy Atlas...

It's now because you're the newest prize.

It hurts to know people are dying because of you.

You can't escape that.

You can take the money from Katagawa and spare many lives...

You'd live in luxury, dressed all nice and treated like a prize.

Katagawa does often try to manipulate you into staying with him... promising to give endless affection if you agree-

Then there's Rhys, willing to work with what he has and listen to you.

More would die but you may be happier.

Rhys doesn't want to buy your heart... he wants to earn it.

The choice tears at you from the inside, morals making your head throb...

CLAPTRAP

Platonic & Romantic Headcanons – Yandere

WARNING: mentions of violence + death, psychological manipulation, toxic mindset.

PLATONIC:

Holding a conversation becomes even more of a challenge when Claptrap decides to interject himself into each one that does not involve him. Anytime Claptrap is hit by sarcasm, passive-aggressive behaviour or even a blatant insult, he tends to either feign ignorance or react to it as if it were a compliment.

He knows that it is not meant to be kind and will most likely cry about it later in private, but for as long as the conversation lasts, he pretends not to notice in the hope of making himself appear endearing.

No matter how much evidence there may be to the contrary, Claptrap is willfully blind to all of it and believes that he holds the power in the relationship. A common result of arguments with him is for Claptrap to threaten the silent treatment, which he fails to uphold within seconds of threatening it because he cannot stand the idea of being alone.

Claptrap is a chatterbox first and a worker robot second. If he is not stopped, he will prattle on and on about how much fun it would be to gallivant around Pandora together. He keeps pushing the idea no matter how many times it gets denied, and accepting it leads to Claptrap revealing that he has a freighter and hand-me-down gear from dead Vault Hunters waiting.

Claptrap is familiar with rejection, but that does not mean he will grow out of his tendency to cry every time it happens. He may cloak himself and start sobbing about how alone he is because he wrongly thinks no one can hear him then. Whether his tears are shed publicly or privately, Claptrap is quick to milk it if his sadness inspires guilt or pity.

He has a contingency plan if it does not, which involves surrounding himself with people who he perceives as ugly to make himself look better. Claptrap also rushes to the heads of confrontations that he helped create to paint himself as a noble hero, but he is just as likely to cower at the sight of an intimidating enemy and request protection.

ROMANTIC:

After inviting himself to any adventures, Claptrap offers vocal support for acts of violence and other crimes as long as they are not committed against him. However, even if he is the target of some hostility, Claptrap is eager to delete it from his memory card because he prefers bad company to no company at all.

As a travelling companion, Claptrap refuses to be dismissed. He interrupts anything that sounds like a goodbye with random thoughts about his fight against stairs and how swank having a beard would be. When he is told to leave, Claptrap seemingly obeys but, in reality, hides behind the nearest corner or big rock.

He waits for a few minutes before returning with a bogus story about why he needs to be a part of the trip, and these lies range from suddenly remembering a personal connection with the mission to presenting a valuable item that he stole from a corpse. Trying to sneak away or dupe him only results in Claptrap returning faster than expected.

If someone new joins the team, Claptrap fills every moment of silence with his descriptions of past experiences as a way of flexing what he believes to be the stronger bond. He volunteers this unwanted addition for the most dangerous tasks available with the intent of getting them killed.

Assuming they survive, he gives constant reminders that he was here first in a thinly veiled plea to remain a two-member team. Claptrap says that any companion besides himself is a lost cause and should be left to rot if captured by bandits, and he advocates for running away together, eschewing rescuing others when they are swarmed by skags that he lured near.

If the new teammate deserts or dies, Claptrap is ready to don a party hat and celebrate their downfall until he catches himself mid-cheer and hurries to an unrelated topic. His ability to fake unhappiness is shoddy at best, and it will not be long before he comments on how great it is to be a duo again.

Y/n Met Chishiya At Their first Game — His second. They admired His Intelligence and He admired Their Willingness, So he decided to keep Them around Until he Got bored, Which He though initially would be A Week At most yet A Week turned into Two weeks And Now here they were sitting together By the pool in the resort called ‘The beach’. The beach was meant to be a haven of safety and Excitement Yet Even if Chishiya was Selected as an executive member, he couldn’t fight the uncomfortableness that came with Men and women alike Taking a Liking to Y/n, His Y/n.

“Jesus, Chishiya. It isn’t like you own me..!” Y/n Argued, they were both in a Hearts Game together in a Group of 12 ,Though he didn’t care about the other four people, You were the only person he had his eye On and truly cared for in this Sick and twisted ‘World’ — if you could call the borderlands that. “I’m just looking out for you.” He said Nonchalantly, pretending to not care yet they had never Rejected his help before so why Now? The Games rules were simple really, You were Split into 3 teams of 4 — Among The six There would be 4 Innocent Members of the group, 4 Members of the group who were murderers and 4 members of the group Who would need to Manipulate the innocent into voting to kill the murderers, yet nobody knew each others roles and had to trust The Word of those around them.

Chishiya had Confided in Y/n about being the Latter option, whereas They were An innocent player. They found confidence in the fact that both Them and Chishiya were able to walk out of the game together, but it hurt them when they realised They would be accountable for a players death. “I Know who the murderers are, its part of my role.” He Claimed, though Y/n knew that those were indeed the rules, they still felt weary about his honesty. “Look, the rest of the group is there, They’re discussing so there bound to be a vote — you either trust me or don’t, Y/n. Just know what’s good for you.” They looked up at him as he spoke, They sat down together Near the rest of the group yet were still a moderate distance away from them. “Him.” Chishiya spoke, You hummed in confusion as your reply, paying complete attention to him as he spoke once more. “The Man in the blue shirt, Hajime I Think his name is. He’s a Murderer.”

Y/n was too tired to argue with Chishiya anymore, so they just muted out an almost silent, “Okay..” As their answer. It took not even Another 10 Minutes for A Woman in the group to announce the first vote. Y/n Walked up to the metallic box After a few people had went, The screen on the top of the black metal was cold to the touch — with shaky hands Y/n selected their answer before returning back to Chishiya’s side. As the votes were cast in, A Monotone voice played: ‘The player with the most votes Is Hajime Yamamoto, with 3 votes.” Y/n’s throat went dry, yes He was one of four correct options for being the murderer but Would there not be a few More votes? From the panicked look across the whole room’s faces, y/n knew they had messed up, even before the Voice spoke again. “This elimination has been deemed incorrect, Hajime is not a Murderer.” Y/n Found Themself inching away from Chishiya feeling betrayed that he would use Them like that, and for what? Sport? Entertainment? What was the point of Sacrificing another?

“He Was speaking ill of you, trying to get others to vote for us.” Chishiya claimed as he noticed Their expression. “Don’t get upset over something like this — that’s just pathetic.”

It was now 3 days since the incident and both Y/n and Chishiya survived the game alongside another whom They didn’t care to remember. They found themself avoiding Chishiya completely and although He accepted it at first — thinking it was just a phase, he quickly got impatience at their new lack of compliance. He saw them sitting alone at the bar, watching Other players swim and dance by the pool. He realised that other than him, they truly had No friends and it was completely his fault — though, god forbid they realised that. “Y/n.” He Spoke coldly as he approached them. They tried to Walk away Yet found their wrist in a sharp hold By Chishiya, Him staring Daggers Into her. “Leave me Alone, Chishiya…” They Pleaded, He almost audibly laughed at Their suggestion. “I’m being serious, I Thought you were better than everybody else — but you’re just like them, you’d kill anybody to save your own skin! How do i Know it won’t be me Next time..?”

He pulled them close to him, “You don’t get to leave me like this. You fucking Need me — without Me You’d be Dead.” It all got too much for Y/n, tears flooded their eyes as Chishiya’s cruel grip on their wrist still failed to leave. “Now you’re crying? You don’t deserve to Cry When I’ve done nothing wrong.” He scoffed. “You truly are pathetic.” Y/n muttered an apology through tears, Their cheeks burning out of pure embarrassment and eyes stinging from letting Salty tears fall. “Clean yourself up, your visa expires soon — let me show you how much You really do need me.”

Ann

If anyone dared put their hands on her darling, you best believe she'd kill them immediately. Another participant had tried to sacrifice you instead of himself, pushing you against the edge and she wasted no time running over there to save you.

Not an ounce of guilt would appear on her face as she'd slaughter them mercilessly, only thinking of you and your safety in that moment.

When you'd finally reunite again, Ann would carry a slight smirk on her face; half expecting you to come running into her arms with tears streaming down your face, thanking her over and over again for saving your life.

But of course you didn't, her darling was stupid.

'' Thank you '' you stammered out under your breath as you walked side by side with Ann.

She scoffed loudly, as if she wasn't sure if she had heard you quite right.

'' That's all you have to say? ''

Her steps came to a halt, irritation striking her beautiful features. After every grand gesture she had done for you - you were still oblivious to her feelings?

Cute

She scoffed again and then started walking, leaving your injured-self behind.

'' Wait for me! '' you cried out, regretting whatever thing you had done to piss her off.

You realised in that moment, that you needed her, wether you'd like to admit it or not. She seemed to always have your back, no matter what.

Mira

She always made sure that you'd be safe while participating in the games. It was unfair of course - somehow, you always seemed to survive, getting away with barely a few scratches while others weeped over the lost lives of their loved ones. It was almost as if the game-makers had favourites...

Once people started noticing this, they'd distance themselves from you. Mira didn't mind, it only meant less trouble for her as she wouldn't need to get as jealous now.

They hated your guts and nothing you did seemed to please them, even as you begged them to befriend you, they refused stubbornly.

When the next game rolled around, they weren't taking any chances. The theory had to be tested for itself - they were going to hurt the game-makers' favourite and see what would happen.

Their well thought out plan had been in motion for weeks, unbeknownst to Mira. She could only watch as the contestants surrounded you, alarm bells ringing in her ears as soon as you were out of her sight.

Mira left the monitoring room, the others' protests fell to deaf ears. She ran all the way over to the arena without stopping once and when she arrived she looked insane.

Sweat beads decorated her forehead, she was out of breath and her eyes bulged with rage.

The first to notice her backed away. They knew something was up from the way she carried herself and recognising her also meant she was someone important.

'' Y/n, darling? '' she called out, voice softening momentarily as she called out to you.

You were unresponsive and slumped over on the ground. She could see through the cracks of the people covering her that she was hurt.

They got their theory tested and it turned out it was correct - but was it really worth losing their lives over it?

The last thing they saw were the bloodthirsty and revengeful face of Mira as she slit their throats skillfully.

Usagi

You turned your head several times in both directions, eyes desperately searching for Usagi.

You needed her now more than ever, having been caught in a hidden trap during one of the games. If she didn't find you by luck, you'd likely die as there was no way of getting out on your own.

The teeth of the trap was digging into your skin, drawing blood any time you tried moving around. Tears threatened to spill from your eyes and you were starting to feel tired.

With the night fast approaching, you looked up and prayed for her to find you.

It seemed almost too good to be true as you heard footsteps not long after, hurriedly approaching the spot were you were laying.

'' Usagi? I'm here! '' you screamed, voice slightly hoarse.

Your eyes immediately widened when the runner turned the corner and came into your view - it wasn't her, but another player. An older male who seemed to smirk at your state, prodding you with his foot.

'' Ah, what a shame '' he ticked his tongue.

'' I was about to help, but I want to win so- ''

He erupted into a scream of horror as an ax hit him right in the middle of his head.

You flinched and hid yourself, scared that the person behind him would kill you too.

'' It's just me ''

You relaxed and released the breath you didn't know you were holding in, tears freely falling now as you looked at her with immense gratitude.

'' Thank you '' you cried, letting yourself be held in her arms as she kissed your head, looking as relieved as you were.

Sirens... the idea of them made your skin crawl. They were humans with alien powers that made the impossible seem possible. To many, they are either revered, or feared.

To you... you fear them.

Their strength scares you. It doesn't help that the past you and Lilith, a siren, shares isn't the best. You feared her not only for her power... but her motives.

Lilith had always made you tense. You used to put up with her as she was a fantastic leader despite her being a siren. Then she took your freedom.

You could never leave Sanctuary.

Lilith's paranoia only got worse after the events of Handsome Jack. She was hellbent on your protection and convinced something horrible would happen to her. The solution?

Forcing you to be a siren...

She was forcing you to live up to her legacy.

"I am. If something happens to me, I want you to be the next siren. I want to give you my powers so you can not only defend yourself, but all you care about."

"Lilith...." You start, trying to hide the fear in your eyes. "You know I can't...."

"You need to get over your fear of sirens, (Y/N)."

"Easy for you to say...."

Even if you and Lilith had tense connections before the Sanctuary incident... you considered her close. She may have been a siren... but you trusted her. Up until she betrayed that trust.

Now she just expected you to still be close to her? Close enough to just push aside your fear? You couldn't believe how delusional she was!

You stand up from your seat, Lilith gives you a disapproving glare. You didn't care. She was asking too much of you.

"Why not pick Maya? Or any other person?"

"Because I said I trust you the most with this role!"

"Lilith! Even if I wasn't terrified of the process, I could NEVER live up to your legacy!"

You snapped at her, turning back to face her.

"I'd NEVER be respected as the next Firehawk!"

Lilith's glowing eyes watch your outburst. Her expression reads one of annoyance yet pity. She sighs when you glare at her with tears running down your cheeks.

"...Is that so?"

"Huh?"

"You're worried you won't be respected? That it will hurt when you inherit my powers?"

Lilith comes closer, putting her hands on your shoulders.

"There's nothing to worry about. I still need to train you... and I don't plan on going anywhere yet. I care for you...."

"Was that your excuse for locking me in Sanctuary?"

Lilith pauses, her care faltering at your accusation.

"What else was I supposed to do? Leave you to die? Let Jack take you?"

"Stop acting like you care! If you did, you wouldn't force this choice on me!"

"Stop FIGHTING me on this!"

"Face it, Lilith...." You hiss, pulling her grip off you.

"I'm not going to be your Firehawk. I'm not going to be your siren. We don't have trust in each other anymore. Stop acting like we do...."

You then leave the room in a huff. Lilith watches you leave silently and considers your words. She understands she messed up back then....

But you need to think of the future.

Lilith decides it's the best for you to leave and cool off. She'll just bring it up later. She knows you'll understand your purpose at some point...

She feels she needs to keep you safe as she loves you that much...

She'd do anything to achieve that goal, even if it means forcing you into this role she wants for you....

"I'm sorry if you think this is irrational... but it's for the both of us... I promise."

aw man ok. so i was a big homestuck fan in my teens and i rly loved broadway karkat, & last week i discovered all my faves are on spotify :’) so i made a playlist of them and spent all weekend revisiting my past

HMM okay here’s some rapid fire facts: i’m the eldest of three, i’m a dog person, i’m an introvert, i can be very stubborn (taurus 👋🏻), i tend to prefer video games over tv/movies, and overall personality-wise i relate the most to honey out of all the listeners!

So I consider a lot of factors when I do these, I swear I do. That said- you’re a Honey-kinnie but also a dog person? Who else can I pair you with but Asher?

Your personality types, in addition to your being an eldest child, hint to me that you’re a steadfast, reliable person and therefore an excellent foil to Asher who could use someone like that in his life to ground him. In contrast, I think his extroverted, bubbly nature would bring you out of your shell, endear you to the rest of the pack as the beta’s mate. Also, I think your love of video games and homestuck would really bring y’all together. (Out of all the boys, he’s deffo the most likely to be a homestuck.)

You’d have such a fun, chill life together, because Asher keeps it fun and chill, you know? I think Asher spends a lot of time wolfed out and with his big, dog head on your lap while you play video games. He jumps during the scary games and shifts back during co-ops so he can play with you. He comes home from a gig with either a honey bun or Fritos, because he wasn’t sure what the vibe was today, so he’ll eat whichever one you don’t want. You do 7/11 snack runs and compete to see who has the bluest tongue. It’s a great life.

(Side note, the guitarist’s name is literally Darlin, so that’s a sign right there.) This song in particular is so fun and catchy; I can see Asher singing this at you incessantly no matter how long he’s already been your boyfriend.

Runner-ups:

Milo is a runner-up because you’re a dog person /hj It’s also because I would kill to watch him watch you play RE4 or any other horror game- that would be hilarious. Guy is another runner-up because, behind Asher, he’s the second most likely to have had a homestuck phase.

Though my choices of literature can be... Questionable? I truly do enjoy the way you write your characters and how you slowly build them.

The theme of "yandere" has always been a difficult one for me.

Is it simply commiting immoral acts for the sake of love? Or is it something deeper than that?

Most yandere stories I stumbled upon has a swift narrative, one chapter the mc meets soon to be Yan character and then next their a yandere that has already fallen to the point of no return.
