One Piece - Excerpt from Fic in Progress - Zoro/Sanji

Sanji tried to act like his back didn’t bother him- that it was just an inconvenient injury now passed, long gone- like his ice skates and the bitter bite of winter. But sometimes his lower back ached after sitting or standing for too long, or his spine felt like it was on fire and woke him up in the middle of the night, or his muscles would tense or spasm at any time without reason, and he had to convince himself it was nothing. “I just slept wrong.” He would tell himself. “I just pulled a muscle.”
Almost a year ago, Sanji had an accident on the ice. Sanji, pro figure skater, silver medalist for his country in last year’s World Figure Skating Championship, the man projected to be a top contender for gold next year, if he really tried.
Now, he wasn’t even an option. Too much had happened. It was too chaotic, too difficult to process. He couldn’t even go on the ice anymore, not professionally, not physically, and especially not emotionally. He could never go back out there, and it broke him. It wasn’t even his fault.
He caught a glimpse of the scar in the mirror. The long scar that tore down his back in a jagged line, from the nape of his neck to his pelvis like a bolt of ugly lightning to a tree.
He could act like he didn’t see it, but then he would get in the shower. He would lather soap on his back, and the tips of his fingers would brush over the rough tissue, so different from the rest of him, and he couldn’t forget, not then. Sometimes, when his mind wandered, he would push on the scar wherever he could. His nerves would spark with pain, but he gritted his teeth and bore it- it was nothing like the pain he experienced that day. And because the pain then was so much worse, he could at least take this much now.
Eventually he would relent, giving up against the pressure of his own hand. The way the pain fizzled up and fired through all of the nerves in his back made his whole body jerk forward, made him sick. And once again, for another day, he would be weak. A coward. A baby. A fool for thinking he could ignore his life changing injury. An idiot for thinking he would ever go back to how he used to be.
He did it again. The mind wandering. He gripped the bathroom countertop, waiting for the sharp bursts of pain to subside. Eventually, the stabbing, prickling sensations dampened into a dull ache, not as intense but not quite gone.
He stood straight (or as straight as his spine would allow), threaded his fingers through his blonde hair, hopped in the shower, and didn’t so much as get clean as he used the shower in the morning to wake up. He sighed into the cold water that hit his face and then frowned as it made his bones ache. He felt like an old man, and he was only 22. He spun the shower nozzle until the water began letting off steam.
When he got out, he simply put back on the pajamas he was wearing. He hardly moved around anywhere anyways. Not like he was sweating. He paused and looked at himself in the mirror.
Dark circles enveloped his under eyes. He didn’t think his eyes looked blue anymore- or maybe they were, just darker, like a shadowy gray storm-cloud before the sun truly sets. Could eye color change in your early twenties? Or did he just hold himself different, the light no longer catching on his irises like they used to? He thought his cheeks looked hollow, and he brought a hand up to inspect his face. His fingers touched a scruffy beard and mustache. When was the last time he shaved? He shrugged.
Everything was fine.
Zeff was in the kitchen, chopping onions unfazed. Sanji thought he didn’t have tear ducts. He’d never seen the man cry- not for sadness and definitely not for onions. Not even when he almost died. He had just been really angry then- not at him, but at the situation. Zeff didn’t like things he couldn’t control.
Sanji slid past the older man and reached for the cupboard.
“Breakfast soon.” Zeff grunted, not looking up from his knife. He was mincing garlic now.
“Okay.” Sanji nodded, grabbing a mug from the cabinet and placing it under their coffee machine. He popped a pod into the top, pushed the lever down and pressed the drip button. The machine whirred to life and a glorious stream of liquid goodness descended into the mug. It stopped the whirring and the dripping and shut off automatically, signaling for Sanji to pick up his reward. Zeff scoffed.
“What?” Sanji sipped at his coffee, choosing to bite. Zeff was annoyed at something. It was probably stupid- like how he would get mad over how Sanji chose to cut potatoes. He walked past Zeff and to the kitchen table. He leaned slightly to put the mug down.
“You used to be proud to grind your own coffee grounds. Now you’re just lazy and okay with drinking that crap in a pod.”
Sanji felt indignant, a heat rumbling in his chest. He felt… frantic… defensive, like he should retort back to protect his dignity.
He used to grind his own coffee, physically, with a stupid little hand-wound coffee grinder that his hands could no longer grasp onto.
“Grinding my own coffee is a little harder now, considering,” He gestured to his own body. “I’m a fucking cripple.”
Zeff stopped his knife and looked at Sanji, eyes squinting. He stood there, just standing and staring for a little bit. “You need to go out more. You look like shit.”
Sanji rolled his eyes and turned back to his coffee. “Yeah, sure, whatever.” He didn’t want to go out. He didn’t want to go out and be pitied or fawned over. His hands got clammy at the thought of someone recognizing him. He didn’t think he could stand it if someone talked to him about figure skating, or worse, that day.
It happened once, when he went to a park 8 weeks after his surgery, and was sitting at a park bench while Zeff walked to get him a warm cup of tea. A woman walked up and stood over him, asking him if he was the Sanji Vinsmoke. He could barely lift his head to look at her. Shame washed over his skin. “Y-yes.” He had stuttered out. Instantly, her eyes got darker, not with malice or anger but with pity. Sanji hated it. “I’m so sorry about what happened to you.” She had said. “It’s such a shame they let that man get so close to you.”
He lowered his gaze, looking at the woman’s shoes, shiny little kitten heels which sunk in the dead winter grass. He looked at his shoes, which were stupid and ugly but Zeff said that they were good for his back. Something about extra support in the soles or some shit. He missed his dress shoes.
Sanji got lost in the ground, his ugly shoes and the dirt, until he noticed the woman was no longer there. Her shoes were replaced with a grumbling Zeff. “Some people have no manners.” He grunted as he sat down. He handed Sanji his tea. Sanji looked up and around. The woman was gone. He looked to Zeff, who got himself a coffee and was sipping at it with a look of disdain dripping from his face.
Sanji took his coffee and walked to the living room and sat down, uninterested in the conversation. He didn’t want to go out.
“I’m serious!” Zeff called from around the corner. “You need sun and exercise. Just sitting all day isn’t good for you, even if you think you’re healed as much as can be.”
“Zeff, I’m really not in the mood to have this conversation.” Sanji closed his eyes and held his coffee close.
“How about this,” Zeff said. Sanji heard the click of the stove being turned off and Zeff’s footsteps from around the corner. “Come with me later to the new neighbor’s house.”
Sanji opened his eyes and looked at the old man, confused. “Why?”
“Because you’re sad and lonely and need to meet people. I think he’s a firefighter or some shit.”
Sanji leaned back and closed his eyes again. No way was he going out today.
well, here’s an excerpt from a fic i’m working on for zoro and sanji! it’s not up on ao3 yet, but it will be soon :) i hope people like it

part 2 part 3
———
“Come on. Please. For me?” You ask the two people on a video call with you
Your best friends, Selena and Taylor, and you are having a virtual hangout, seeing as you all live in different places.
“What’s in it for us?” Selena asks, taking a sip of her wine.
“Absolutely nothing, but you get to go to England.”
“And what are we gonna do? Sit and watch you ogle your girlfriend for like two hours.”
“Exactly.”
“Stop teasing me. You can’t hardly blame me though, my girlfriend is hot. And y’all are just bitter that you’re single.”
“Hey! I’m not anymore.”
“Shocker!” You say sarcastically. “You’ve been going to your boyfriend’s games so much and brought us with you, now it’s my turn.”
“Sel, you need to get yourself an athlete.”
“I know.” She whines, extending the ‘o’. “You guys need to set me up with someone.
“You might catch the eyes of some footballers if you come here.”
“We’re gonna be in so many news headlines.”
“Just gotta make sure we don’t look stupid in them.”
———
The Arsenal Women’s team are all on the pitch, warming up for their match. All of a sudden, the crowd throughout the stadium starts cheering, confusing all the players and staff on the pitch.
Looking all around, the crowd is watching the big screen. There you are, with your two best friends, all completely oblivious to what’s happening. The three of you were too preoccupied doing the marshmallow game to notice all the eyes on you. Well, to be fair, you all grew up with eyes always on you that you all learned to block it out.
“Stop fucking it up Taylor. You’re like the whole music industry, where’s the rhythm?”
“Fuck you! I don’t have to listen to you. You’re not my Mom.”
“Okay! Let’s just try it again okay?”
“I’ll start. One marshmallow.”
“Check it out.”
“Woo.”
Down on the field, Katie watches the big screen, not being able to stop the huge grin of amusement on her face.
“Dude! There’s no way that’s actually Y/N Y/LN, Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift.”
“I mean, if you open your eyes you would see that it actually is.” Caitlin shoves Katie away because of her sarcastic response.
———
Nothing really happens for the first half, but as soon as the second half starts, Arsenal in playing like they’ve got some fresh pairs of legs on them.
“Now I understand why people watch sports.” Taylor says loudly.
“Dates an athlete and is now obsessed with sports.”
“Oh, shut up.”
“But seriously. I’ve never watched a sport on my life until I met Katie. And it’s a plus she looks hot doing it.”
———
We’ve got McCabe, Katie McCabe I just don’t think you understand she plays out on the wing, she hits it with a zing we’ve got Katie McCabe
You started chanting with all the fans, encouraging your friends to join in.
“C’mon guys! Just like I taught you!”
———
Arsenal eventually won from a banger from McCabe, who was now getting interviewed.
“Katie, good game today. You scored the game winning shot, how’d that feel?”
“Oh, em, I was just doing what I usually do. But I’ve actually got my girlfriend here, so I had to put on a bit of a show for her.”
“Oh! Wow! Well, thank you for your time Katie.” The reporter says a bit shocked at the news.
Katie walks into the locker room, everyone is just sat at their cubby, cooking down from the match, when a knock is heard from the door.
“You girls decent?” Jonas’ voice comes through the door.
“Yeah!”
“Alright, well, we’ve got some guests that would love to meet you all.”
You, Taylor and Selena walk through the door being met by the whole team. The team fan girls for a bit, the team’s social media videographer catching it all on camera.
After greeting everyone, you walk over to where Katie is still sat in her cubby and place yourself on her lap, her arms immediately wrapping around your waist.
Her teammates are too preoccupied with Selena and Taylor to notice the two of you, but both your friends know you like to wander off, instantly noticing you weren’t next to them anymore.
Looking around, she sees you with your girlfriend whispering in her ear that has her biting her lip.
“Oh my god! Stop flirting in front of other people please!” Taylor speaks out, grabbing the attention of everyone in the room.
“You’re just mad cause your man who’s not your man is off playing fake football and not with you.”
“Oh, she got you there.” Selena laughs at Taylor’s offended face, giving you a high five.
“We’re no longer friends.” Taylor pouts, crossing her arms across her chest.
“You’ll get over it cause you love me.” You wrap her in a hug, Selena joining in. “Okay, enough of that. Can we all take a group picture?” You ask the Gunners. “I’ve gotta cook dinner.”
After the photo, the three of you bid farewell to the team, you giving Katie a quick kiss and a ‘see you later.’
“Actually, can I go with you? I’ll just shower at home.” Katie asks, packing her things.
“C’mon. Bye guys!” You wave at everyone.
“See you soon!” Katie leaves after you.
The team was silent for a bit after the four of you left, not knowing how to process that their Irish teammate has a girlfriend and who her girlfriend is.
“That was unexpected.”
“Indeed.”
“How’d Katie get a girl like her?” Beth asks, not quite understanding.
“It’s probably the luck the Irish have.”
“And Y/N is her pot of gold.”
“Damn.”

“Am I…am I in trouble or something, Professor…?”
Professor McGonagall’s lips thinned and she looked at you over the rim of her glasses. She folded her hands together neatly where they rested on her desk before speaking. “Not for now, no. Relax a bit, dear. The law states that you’re innocent until proven guilty.”
“That’s not- that doesn’t really make me less nervous.”
The professor opened her mouth to speak again when a chime alerted her to an incoming floo call.
With a wave of her wand, the flames flared green and a genial-looking man stepped out of the fireplace. He brushed soot off of his robes and grinned brightly as soon as he caught sight of the professor.
“Minerva! Lovely to see you again. I’m afraid Quincy isn’t going to make it. Corbett is sick, poor thing, so he’s staying home with him today,” the man gushed, evidently quite close with the professor.
“Oh, send them both my well wishes, Hez, dear. Anyway, this is the student you asked to see, Y/n L/n,” she motioned towards you.
The man gave you a cheery grin—far too cheerful for this early in the morning—and held out his hand for you to shake. “A pleasure to meet you, Mx. L/n. I’m Auror Hezekiah Ackerly. I’d just like to ask you a few questions if that’s alright?”
You dubiously shook his outstretched hand, a bit put off by his bright grin that never seemed to dim. “Sure.”
“Wonderful!” the Auror pulled the second office guest chair closer and sat down across from you. “Let’s get the easy questions out of the way. Do you have many friends? Or maybe a small, close-knit group of people you regularly hang out with?”
Your eyebrows furrowed. The fuck kind of question was this?
“Uh, I guess a close-knit group?”
Auror Ackerly summoned a notebook and quill, writing quickly. “Who belongs to this group?”
Seriously, this felt more like being at a psychiatrist’s office than being questioned by a government official.
“Er, Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger? And sometimes Neville Longbottom and Luna Lovegood?”
Seriously, what was going on?
“And do you have any…romantic relationships? Any troubles or issues there?”
Your eyes narrow. “What’re you playing at?”
“Cormac McLaggen was found dead in the Forbidden Forest this morning,” Professor McGonagall cut to the chase, interrupting Auror Ackerly. “You were the last known person to have spoken to him, and several of your peers attest that they heard an argument break out between the two of you last night after dinner.”
Your eyebrows shot up and your jaw dropped. “Dead? Wh- how?”
“That’s what we at the Ministry would like to know,” Auror Ackerly interjected smoothly. “You’re not in trouble, Mx. L/n, but I am here to escort you to the Ministry for questioning.”
Your jaw dropped.
They thought you did this?
~~~
You sat at a table, alone in some room deep inside the Ministry building.
You huffed, folding yet another paper crane from the stack of sticky notes Ackerly had oh-so-thoughtfully left for you after your interrogation.
You set the finished bird on the table, the small pile of origami cranes you’ve made while waiting slowly getting larger.
Peeling off another sticky note, you started folding another when a nice-looking man in well-pressed robes entered the barren room and stopped in front of your table. He looked down at you with mild bafflement.
“L/n, I presume?”
“That’d be me,” you mumbled, adding your newest crane to the pile.
The man smiled gently before waving a hand over your paper birds and enchanting them to fly.
You tried to hide your awe as you look up at the cranes that floated and soared around the room.
The man smiled at your reaction. “It’s quite nice to finally meet you, Mx. L/n. You’ve been the topic of many a discussion today.”
“I’d imagine so, yes,” you said dryly. “Not many teenagers accused of murder coming through the department, huh?”
He grinned. “Not really, no.”
The man pulled out the other chair at the table, sitting down across from you and rifling through the thick manila folder he held.
“Are you here to interrogate me some more?” You asked suspiciously. “Ask Ackerly, man. I already told him everything I know.”
He laughed. “No, I’m not here to interrogate you. I’m your lawyer, Mx. L/n.”
You blink. “I don’t have a lawyer. My family can’t afford that.”
“You always have the right to an attorney, Mx. L/n,” he said kindly as he held out his hand to you. “Octavian Foxglove, Esquire.”
“Y/n L/n, but you already knew that,” you greet, shaking his hand.
He smiled again.
He was a very smiley man.
He laid out the manila folder and turned it around on the table so that you would be able to see it.
The first paper on top was a copy of your school records, with a bright red PRIMARY SUSPECT stamped over the top of your picture.
You grimaced.
Your lawyer nodded sympathetically. “There’s a photo underneath that page, by the way. Supposedly the last photo we have of McLaggen still alive and, uh…it’s not looking great for you, in all honesty.”
You moved your school records page aside, finding a standard moving photograph paperclipped to the inside of the file.
It showed, quite clearly, you speaking with Cormac McLaggen in a hallway. Picture-Cormac angrily threw his arms up in the air and silently yelled at picture-you, while your body language in the photo loudly screamed ‘furious & upset’.
He was right. It wasn’t a great look.
“And there’s only one thing I need you to- oh, where is it?” He dug through the inside pockets of his robes, procuring a pen. “Aha! The next page has a simple contract. I just need a signature stating that you either accept me as your public defender, or would like to request someone else from the Ministry to handle your case.”
You nod, flipping the page to the contract he indicated. Mr. Foxglove smiled again and held the pen out to you.
As soon as your fingers made contact with the pen, you vanished.
~~~
You stumbled blindly, almost falling to the floor before a hand caught your elbow and steadied you.
“Easy, careful.”
You whirled around, surprised to see a different man in Mr. Foxglove’s clothes. He held his hands up in a non-threatening manner.
“Woah- slow down, kid. You’re fine.”
“Who the hell are you?”
“I’m- was your lawyer,” he shrugged and smiled. “Augustus Rookwood, at your service.”
It dawned on you. “It was a portkey,” you breathed. “The pen. It was a portkey, wasn’t it?”
“Clever kid,” he sounded impressed. “Now c’mon. The boss wants to see you.”
You followed the man without complaint; half out of curiosity, half out of the knowledge that Augustus Rookwood was an Azkaban escapee charged with at least forty counts of first degree murder.
Pretty simple choice.
It looked like you were in a wealthy aristocrat’s house. Er, mansion, more accurately. The hallway you were walking down was old and stuffy and dusty, and the overall aura of Dark magic that permeated the very air of the house sent shivers down your spine.
Rookwood led you down a flight of rickety stairs to the first floor, and then down a narrow hallway and into a study, where he left you without another word.
The study itself was old. Everything was coated in a thick layer of dust except for the pristine and polished bureau right in the center.
(Obviously, ‘the boss’ was sitting at this desk.)
((Villains tend to be predictable like that.))
However, you were surprised to see that ‘the boss’ was-
“Riddle?”
He looked up at the sound of your voice, a wide grin spreading across his face as he hurriedly got up from his desk.
“Y/n, darling, hello!” He gushed, practically skipping over towards you before pulling you into a very uncomfortable hug. “Sweetheart- oh, I’m so glad you’ve made it here safely! Rookwood really is my only competent assistant; I must be sure to give him a raise.”
You froze up at the unexpected hug, your arms remaining stiffly by your sides. He let go after a moment, but remained just a bit too close for comfort.
“Hopefully the Ministry didn’t give you too hard of a time,” he rubbed the back of his neck with a guilty grin. “I promise Ackerly’s a good man. When he’s, y’know, in control of his own body.”
Your eyes widen and you take a step back. “What?”
“Just a little Imperius, darling, no worries. Did you like your gift?”
You blinked, thrown off by his rapid changes in subjects. “Uh- gift?”
He smiled proudly. “McLaggen? He won’t bother you anymore, see?”
All the color drained from your face.
“You killed Cormac?”
He nods, grinning. “Uh-huh. I heard what McLaggen said to you last night in the hall, and I don’t like when other people look at what’s mine.”
“Yours?” You repeat, your lip curling in disgust. “You’d better not be referring to me.”
Mattheo paused, looking at you in confusion. “What else would I be talking about?”
You scoff in shock, shaking your head. “Yeah, nope, I’m out.”
You turned around without further preamble, marching out of the room and towards the front door that you’d passed earlier. Mattheo laughed and followed you out of the study at a leisurely pace, seemingly unworried.
“Where are you going to go, darling? As far as the general public is concerned, you’re on the run after brutally murdering a classmate. You’re Wanted with a capital W, sweetheart.”
“I’ll figure it out,” you snarled, storming towards the front door.
“Y/n…” He warned, drawing his wand and pointing it at you. “Get back here. Now.”
“Fuck off.” You spat over your shoulder, not sparing him another glance.
That was clearly not the thing to say. As if in slow motion, you heard a dreaded word fall from his lips.
“Crucio!”
You were struck with pain that was so overwhelming, so blinding, so agonizing, that you were sure you were going to die.
You were only half aware that you’d fallen to the floor at some point as wave after wave of unbearable pain crashed over you. You could feel your bones creaking and grinding together, your skin splitting apart only to knit itself back together just to be torn apart again, like you were some fucked up wixen version of fucking Prometheus.
You were only vaguely aware that you were speaking, pleading. Pleading not for the Unforgivable to be lifted, but for him to just end it, end you, entirely.
“K-kill me! Kill m-me…please!” You begged, blood trailing down from the corner of your mouth and smeared across your chin. You must’ve bit your tongue hard for it to bleed like that, and the sting from that wound while you speak is just too overwhelming when combined with the pain from the Cruciatus Curse.
Then all at once, it stops.
You gasp for air, your entire body trembling and numb as you lay sprawled across the floor like a marionette with its strings cut.
Mattheo kneeled down by your side and cupped your face in his hands with a kind of tender gentleness that felt deeply wrong coming from him.
“See, I’m doing this because you’re not listening to me, sweetheart. How else am I supposed to show you that trying to leave me is what you shouldn’t do?” He cooed softly, gently wiping the blood from your chin with the sleeve of his shirt.
You flinched back at his touch. Your body—still wracked with uncontrollable quivers and trembles—tried in vain to crawl away from him.
“Oh no, honey- hey, honey- I promise it’s all over, okay? You were so so good for me. But you see now that you’ve got to stay with me, right?”
Your jaw quivered and your still-stinging tongue felt thick in your mouth, yet you managed to spit vicious hatred towards him.
“G-go to hell.”
A flurry of emotions crossed his face: surprise, anger, guilt, and disappointment; all of which were topped by the underlying aura of pure sadistic glee that exuded from him.
“Oh? Do you need another lesson or two before you learn?” He sighed and shook his head patronizingly. “Very well then, darling. Crucio!”

Coach Syverson Part 2
Tumblr media
I really didn't think I was going to finish writing this so soon but ya'll loved the first part! and I love writing this so here it is the final part with all the good stuff! Also it's 4 am and I probably should have proof read this. but I didn't. Iwas so excited to get it posted because You guys BLEW UP the first part so THANK YOU!!!
Warnings: SMUT at the end, Oral (m and f receiving), (p in v), lots of cusring in the end , so much praising because you know he would!!
Sy was in coach mode with the team as I looked over the sign in sheet and greeted the students that were traveling to watch the game. Most of the students were loaded onto the bus now. Thank God because I was so distracted by him. There was something about seeing him like this, he was so in charge and in control. He had their full attention and he never had to work to get it. He had those boys respect the first time he walked out to the field. But he earned it too. He was such a good coach. I loved listening to the way he spoke with them.
“Alright boys,” I listened as he pulled the team into a huddle before they got on the bus next to ours. “Listen first and foremost I want y’all to go out there and pay hard. That’s what we’ve been practicing. We’ve watched their tape. These guys are a little bigger than you but that doesn’t matter. We’re faster. You come at ‘em low and fast they’re gonna go down. Matt I need your eyes on that ball at all times man! We just about lost some points last week because of misdirection and we ain’t gonna let that happen again right?”
“No, sir! I got you coach!”
“Atta boy! Derek, you keep throwing that ball like you’ve been in practice this week and we’ll be in good shape!” Derek just nodded. Sy smiled. “Alright, now boys I don’t want any messing around in the locker room. You go in, and be respectful, I want them talking about how great of character our team has just as much as they’re talking about how good we play, understood?”
“Yes coach!” The boys chanted in unison.
“Alright, load up let’s go!” The boys started cheering. I smiled. I loved watching him with them. The way he got them all fired up. And he matched their energy. He was so adorable right now. Joking around with the boys and
“Hey Miss Plummer!” right, I’m not a teenager watching my crush, I’m an adult, I have a job to do.
“Hi Caitlyn! Are you ready for the game tonight?” I smiled at her. She was all decked out with the eye under eye black and Tyler's jersey number painted on her cheek in the school colors. She and a few of the other girls made t-shirts and were wearing them to support a few of the players they were friends with.
“So ready!!” She squealed, bouncing a little on the balls of her feet. She looked over toward the buses where the team was loading the bus with their equipment, where I had been staring off earlier. “He’s so cute isn’t he?” She said, I raised an eyebrow and smirked a little.
“Are you excited to watch Tyler play?” I chuckled.
“Yeah, But I meant coach Sy, are you two finally together? He totally likes you! Everyone knows it! And you two would be so cute together!! The students talk about it all the time. I mean you’re wearing his hoodie Miss Plummer!” Wow that girl talks fast. He likes… no. But if the students see it? Am I really that blind? He bought my dinner, He brings me coffee, he called me his work wife. But I’m not his body type. These things don’t happen. Are my insecurities really that deep rooted that I can’t take the advice I give my students? But still. When I was in school I remember rumors spreading about teachers seeing each other all the time and they usually…. Well actually. Now that I think about it. They normally ended up being true. Some of them were even scandals. I shook my head.
“Slow down sweetheart,” I managed to let out a chuckle even though I kind of felt like I was having a crisis. “Coach Sy and I are friends, I’m just borrowing his sweatshirt because I didn’t have one. It’s sweet that you all care about us so much. I love that. I do. But well, that’s all it is, honey.” She nodded sadly. And looked back at the other bus and over at Sy. He caught us looking at him and smiled.
“Miss Plummer,” She sighed exasperated, like me not understanding my own love life was exhausting for her.   “I don’t wanna over step but I overheard him and Mrs. Spencer talking. She came into his class at the end of the day Wednesday smiling and stuff. And like I wasn’t TRYING to eavesdrop but I heard them talk about you and I just couldn’t resist ya know? Anyway, she said she had this idea, she could back out of coming today so he could hang out with you and well…. Nevermind.” I raised an eyebrow.
“Caitlyn, what have we said about gossiping?” I said.
“Girl, It’s true though, that man’s got it bad for you Miss P.” I shook my head and smiled
“Get on the bus Caitlyn,”
“Okay fine, But when you guys get married, can I be in the wedding?” I rolled my eyes. “Guess that’s a no.” She said and stepped on the bus. I looked over one last time. Sy was double checking something on his clipboard while the boys finished up. He looked up and we made eye contact. He winked and I blushed, giving him a little wave before I followed Caitlyn on to the bus. Things took off fast when we got to the other school. Sy took the boys straight to the locker room to gear up because we got a little stuck in traffic. Myself and the two other chaperones led the students to their section in the bleachers and about 15 minutes later we were at kick off. Sy was completely in his comfort zone out there.
Our boys had the ball first. Sy had his couch voice on shouting a couple of corrections from the sidelines. The team made a good play but in the end the other boys were bigger and their defense was strong. We had to settle for three points instead of a touchdown.
The whole first quarter of the game stayed that way. The boys managed to keep the other team out of the end zone. The start of the second quarter the other team had the ball. They made a play and when one of our boys Zach Owens went to tackle the player he lost his footing. It had rained earlier in the day and the  He slipped but still grabbed the player by the ankle. He got him down but he ended up at the bottom of a dog pile. Another player reached out to give Zach a hand to help him up, but he fell back immediately when he tried to stand. He was hurt.
I immediately looked to Sy, I was on the first level of the bleachers standing against the railing. I was close enough to see him curse under his breath before running onto the field. The medic followed him out. I walked out to the sideline. Sy and the medic got Zach up but he couldn’t put any pressure on his left ankle. Everyone cheered for him while they walked him off the field. Poor kid was going to be out the rest of the game.
“You’re gonna be alright man,” Sy said as they got him to the bench. “This guy’s gonna wrap that ankle and then you just chill here. Just breathe,” He clapped him on the shoulder and turned back to his place on the sidelines. The boys were starting the next play and already the other team scored a touchdown on us. I walked up to him hesitantly. He shouted something about tightening the defense. I jumped a little. I'd never been this close to him in coach mode. It was kinda hot though. What was I saying? I came up next to him brushing my shoulder against his.  He looked over and his shoulders relaxed a little and he smiled when he saw it was me. “Hey Sugar,”
“Is he gonna be okay?” I asked. He nodded.
“Yeah, It’s not broken but he sprained it real good. He’s gonna be down at least a couple weeks. He’s our best tackle.” He sighed softly and his lips quirked up into a sad lopsided smile
“I know, that’s gonna kill us. But the boys can pull through. They’ve got you as a coach.” I smiled. He threw his arm around me and pulled me against his side squeezing my shoulder.
“You’re so damn sweet,” he said. I blushed and turned into his shoulder to hide my face. “You’re freezing, darling,” He ran his hand up and down my arm for a minute “shit,” he mumbled. He pulled out a 10 dollar bill from his pocket “I told ya I pay for coffee tonight, meant to give this to you earlier.”  He looked down at me, his blue eyes briefly holding my gaze as he grinned.
“Logan you don’t have to do that,” I said trying to push his hand away. He raised an eyebrow and shook his head.
“You say that an awful lot. I wouldn’t do it if I didn’t want to. Now quit arguing with me and take it.” He narrowed his eyes at me and nodded down at the cash in his hand. I rolled my eyes and sighed.
“You know, you can be a real diva when you don’t get you’re way.” I said taking it from him.
“Are you complaining about free coffee?” He smirked and pulled me close to his side again keeping me warm.
“No,” I chuckled softly. I looked back at the bleachers watching some of my kids for a second. A few of them were a little two close for comfort. “I’d better get back up there,” I said sadly. I really liked being next to him.
“Yeah, I guess you should.” He left his arm around me a few seconds longer before he finally let me go. He was such a teddy bear sometimes. As I was making my way back to the bleachers I heard. A few of the boys on the team talking,
“OOOOH Coach you look at you,” One of them said
“That was smooth. Can you teach me how to do that?”
“You gonna be gettin some later coach.” The last one spoke. Logan’s voice was stern but still playful.
“Y’all wanna match zach on the bench next week? I won’t hesitate. Watch it! What is that an extra 3 laps to the 5 you were already running on monday Tyler?” He smirked.
“Damn Coach!! You Savage!” One of the other boys piped in.
“You wanna join him, Jake?” He mused.
“No Sir, I’m good!” He spoke quickly and I laughed to myself as I walked back up the bleachers.
I sat with the students for a while breaking up a few young couples trying to get a little too close while they were away from mom and dad. I hated to be a buzzkill but they know the rules.
Sy was back on high alert. At the start of the third quarter the boys were down by 10 points. They shouldn’t have been the refs missed and obvious penalty against the other team for shoving one of our guys. I was definitely part of the crowd that was screaming at that point. But right now Derek, our quarterback had gotten the boys down the field and they were set up for another touch down. They made the play. He threw a complete pass to tyler and they got the points! Every was cheering. With the extra kick good the boys only need one more touch down to get ahead.
The rest of the quarter went by and then only 2 minutes left in the 4th quarter. The team was still down by 3 points. The clock was running out they had 45 seconds left we had the ball but we were only at the 40 yard line. We needed a miracle. But Sy taught our boys well. Derek found an opening and through a perfect pass down the field to Matt. The whole crowd was on their feet. He Caught the pass at the 20 yard line and ran the rest of the way down the field into the end zone with 10 seconds left. We got the touch down. The student section was shaking the bleachers jumping around. The game finished and we let the kids run down to wait by the gate to make  a tunnel for the team to run through. I walked down to the side lines to wait in a crowd of people to see the winning coach.
While I looked over keeping an eye on the kids while they celebrated with the team. I held my coffe close to my chest too keep me and my hands warm. I loved seeing Sy like this. This is totally where he belonged. He looked famous talking with the other coaches and people asking him about what he was working on with the team. I over heard two ladies having a conversation a few feet infront of me.
“Their coach is so handsome,” The first one said. She was tall, Thin long blonde hair. Wearing some sporty leggings the looked super expensive and the other teams spirit wear.
“Oh I know! You think he’s single?” The other said she looked similar to the other woman but a little shorter and her hair was darker.
“I don’t know I saw that lady with him earlier but, he’s gorgeous and well, I mean I don’t wanna sound rude but she seemed a little big to be his type.” The blonde said.
“No I know what you mean when I saw him with his arm around here I was like… if that’s his wife… well he could’ve done better.” My heart dropped. I knew they were talking about me. I felt like I was going to be sick. I knew it. Everything, I’d always felt, every reason I told everyone they were wrong. These two just confirmed it. Logan would never see me as anything more than a friend. My insecurities just kept bubbling to the surface the way I felt about my body and what I’d worked on for years all came rushing back. I ran right passed them missing the shocked look on their faces. They hadn’t realized I’d been so close. It didn’t matter they were right.
I didn’t hear him either. Excusing himself from the other men he’d been talking two and calling after me. I ran into the bathrooms locking the door behind me and took a deep breath. You’re not crying not here. You’re a big girl. Hold it in until you’re alone. I calmed myself down and took one last deep breath before walking back out.
Logan was leaning on the wall outside the door waiting.
“Hey Sugar, you alright? You looked like you were gonna be sick? Feeling okay?” Shit I didn’t even know he’d noticed me walk by. I nodded taking another deep breath and staring at the ground.
“Yeah, just um, felt a little off for a second.” I said. “I’ll be alright. You’d better get back to the boys.” He put his hand on my shoulder and I shrugged him off. I looked up and saw the confused look in his eyes.
“I’m meeting the boys at the bus, it’s a late night so we’re headed straight back.” he stated. “You sure you’re okay sugar, why don’t you ride back with me, I can keep an eye on ya. And the boys wanna thank their good luck charm for being here.” he smiled.
“No, I mean. No that’s sweet of them. And nice of you to offer but. It’s not fair to the others. I said I’d chaperone I can’t just leave them short like that.” I said.
“They won’t be Carol will be …”he paused and groaned.
“What do you mean Carol will be there? She couldn’t come tonight.” I was confused now.
“Damnit this isn’t how I wanted to do this. She was always going to be here. Uh she was helping me out… with…”
“Caitlyn was right,” I cut him off.
“I thought she was listening,” He chuckled and shook his head. “She told ya huh? Well cats out of the bag then, I uh,” He laughed and let out a shaky breath rubbing the back of his neck. “I really like you Darlin’, I have for a while.” He smiled sheepishly and bit his lip. My hands were shaking and all of a sudden I felt sick again. This is what I’d always wanted but I didn’t feel real. I couldn’t be here right now. Surely there was a punchline waiting there always was. This was a joke right. Those women from earlier are right around the corner somewhere recording. How could I be so stupid. I shook my head. Tears were welling up in my eyes.
“I, I have to go, they’re gonna need my help loading the buses.” I said and ran past him toward the parking lot. He called after me but I kept walking. When I got to the parking lot only one of our buses was still there. I let out a slow breath and then sighed. “God I’m a fucking idiot,” I groaned.
“I uh.. Sent the other bus ahead” I heard Sy say from behind me. I stood there for a second quietly and then just nodded. “Wait here, I gotta talk to the boys and then we’ll head out,” He said.
I watched him walk over. Some of the boys started to whistle and holler. I couldn’t hear Logan but he shut it down quick. The boys loaded up into the bus and gestured for me to follow. He gave me a soft smile and followed me on sitting in the seat across from mine. Other than the boys celebrating the game in the back ground it was a silent ride home. How did I screw this up so bad. He planned out this whole thing. But, somehow I still don’t believe this. My phone lit up with a text from the girls.
“How was the game? I saw you guys won!” Skyler sent. I needed them right now. I looked over at sy he was scrolling on his phone, or looking out the window, I didn’t know what to say right now. I texted the girls back.
“The game was good, But I’m an idiot.” I replied.
“How so?” Hayley texted back quickly. I poured out everything into the text. They knew why I felt he shouldn’t like me, even if I never said it. So I’m sure that was no surprise to them. I told them about what those women had said. And my little panic attack. Sy telling me how he felt and how I ran off. And when I finally clicked together that he had put this together so he could ask to take me out. And How I royally fucked it all up.
“Oh Alayna, I’m sorry. That really sucks. But have you tried talking to him about any of this.”  Skyler said.
“I didn’t have the time, and I can’t, He probably already hates me now and realizes I was never worth it anyway.”
“Stop it dude! I don’t wanna hear that from you. Clearly he thinks you are. He went through all that effort because he wanted to make sure he got the right opportunity. So he would care if you told him! You need to tell him what you’re feeling. I know it’s scary but you have to.” Hayley sent back.
“She’s right Alayna, I know this is hard, but he’s not in this to hurt you, I know people have before but girl, You can’t believe for the rest of your life every man is the same. Pull him aside when you get back. You can fix this. We love you!!”
I knew they were right. But I didn’t have much time to muster up the courage to do anything. When I looked up from my phone we were pulling back up to the school. The team got off the bus. “Alright boys! Get home safe, I’ll see you Monday morning for practice,” Sy said before letting them go. I grabbed my things from the bus and headed to my car. But when I got there I noticed something wasn’t right my shoulders slumped. I’d left a light on when I was searching for a jacket. God I hope it didn’t drain my battery. I got in and tried to start it. But of course. What’s that saying. If it can go wrong it will. I got out and slammed the door shut. “Fuck!” I shouted. I couldn’t help it now the damn broke and I couldn’t help but start crying “I’m so stupid!” I kicked at  tire and slammed my fist on the hood of my car. “Ow fuck!” I held my hand that was now throbbing.
“Woah, Hey, What’s going on?” Sy asked coming up behind me quicking after hearing me shouting.
“It’s nothing, I'm sorry. My… battery died. I left a light on. My car won’t start.” I hiccuped trying to control my breathing. He pulled me into his chest and hugged me.
“Okay, It’s gonna be alright. Breath. Good girl. Calm down.” He spoke softly. “Now,” he pulled away slightly to look at me in they eyes. “Do you have jumper cables?” I shook my head
“No I, had some old ones and I threw them out and never replaced them I… forgot.” he nodded. And let go leaving me against his car to go check the tool box in the back of his truck.
“Shoot. Yeah, I thought so,” He mumbled to himself, “Sorry, sugar. I left mine in my garage.” He said. I nodded. “It’ll be fine here tonight, I can take you home.” Again I just nodded. I heard him let out a deep breath. “Did I,” He paused. “Did I do something wrong? I, I just thought... Maybe I was reading it wrong. I was just sure that you felt…”
“I do,” I said cutting him off. “ I do feel the same. I just don’t understand why, you feel the way you do. I …” I didn’t know what else to say I just kept staring at the pavement.
“What do you mean? Why wouldn’t I? You’re gorgeous. Shit, I’ve been flirtin’ with you since I met you. You really couldn’t see it?” I shook my head.
“No,” I said finally looking up at him. “I wanted to. I really wanted to, but I just couldn’t believe that a guy as good looking as you would find me attractive.” I said. He chuckled softly. “Don’t laugh at me!” I pouted.
“I’m not, it’s just, baby, you might just be the dumbest smart girl i’ve ever met. Seriously, that is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. And I coach teenage boys!” I smiled a little. “There she is. You wanna tell me what’s goin on in that pretty little head of yours? He asked. I took a deep breath. It’s now or never.
“I was waiting to talk to you after the game, and I heard these women talking. They were talking about how handsome you are. And if you were single. One of them had said they’d seen me with you on the sidelines. She made a comment about my weight and that there was no way I would be your type. And The other girl said some things too. I felt really insecure. I already didn’t believe that you would be into me but when I heard someone else say it, it solidified it for me. And then when you told me how you felt. It felt like a joke. I felt like I was in high school again and everyone was going to gather around and start laughing. And to be honest. My experiences since then haven’t been great. I haven’t been with good guys. I just I was afraid I was going to be hurt. Honestly sometimes I don’t even know how I do this job because I can’t even take my own advice.” I looked down again. It was a relief to let it all out but if I looked him in the eye I was going to start crying again. I was already weak enough in this moment.
Sy stepped back around the car to where I was standing. He gently put his hands on my hips and pulled against him. He brought one hand up brushing the hair out of my face and resting it on my cheek. “I wish you could understand how wrong they are. I know you don’t not right now. But I’m gonna help you see yourself the way I do Sugar,” He didn’t hesitate any longer. He pressed us further against the car and leaned down pressing his lips to mine. His lips were soft and his body was warm against mine. He kissed me slowly and soft his beard tickling against my jaw. I snaked my hands around his neck pulling him closer. And I felt him smile against my lips. He pulled away slowly eyes fluttering open still holding me against him. “Baby you have no idea how long I’ve been waiting to do that. I don’t know what other people have said to you. Or what you’ve been through. But when I tell you you’re beautiful I mean it. And when say I wanna take you home with me, it aint no joke baby. Do you trust me?” He askes staring down at me holding my face in his hands.
“I trust you Logan, so much that is scares me.” I admitted.
“I’d never hurt you like that Darlin’ that’s a promise.” I pulled him down and kissed him again. Harder this time. He groaned against my lips and squeezed my hip pulling me closer. He slid his hand into my hair holding me there as he started to gently suck on my bottom lip. We pulled away to catch our breath and had big goofy grin on his face as he leaned his forehead against mine.  “I’d love to do this all night baby,” He chuckled. “But its late and its only gonna get colder out here, I need to get you home.” I blushed.
“Yeah, it’s almost midnight. We really should get going.”
He  opened the passenger door of the truck for me and made sure I got in okay before he shut the door and got in on the other side. He started the truck and we pulled out of the parking lot.
“Sy?” I spoke softy.
“Yeah baby?” He looked over just for a second to let me know he was listening.
“Did you mean it, when you said you wanted to take me home with you?” I asked. He literally snorted.
“What do you think?” He smirked taking one hand of the wheel and resting it on my thigh. I could feel my heart rate speed up and I was blushing. How the hell was it so easy for him to turn me on?
“I want to.” I said. He looked like he was about to choke.
“Yeah? You don’t have to Sugar, I didn’t mean… I mean I want you to. But I don’t want you to fee like I’m pressuring you or anything. Shit I ain’t even taken you out yet. Not really.” I grabbed his hand and squeezed it softly.
“Logan, I really want to.” I said. He just smiled.
“Alright, baby.”
He drove us back to his place parking the truck in his drive way. “Right this way Darlin,” He smirked leading me up the front steps and unlocking the door. I followed him inside and he quickly shut the door behind him backing me up against it. “You really have no idea what your doing to me do you baby?” He licked his lips looking me up an down hungrily. I’d never seen him like this. The look in his eye was almost, animalistic. And it was so. Fucking. Hot. “Here I was thinking you were an innocent little thing.” He pinned my against the door holding me there in his hands. He leaned down crushing his lips against mine. This was different than the kisses we’d shared earlier , slow and sensual, this was hungry, needy. “Practically begging me to bring you home. You know how long I’ve been thinking about this? Getting you home with me? Under me? Fuck.” he breathed
He pulled me away from the wall and pulled at the bottom of his hoodie I was still wearing. I lited my arms and let him pull it over my head along with my shirt leaving them in a pile on the floor. We walked a little farther into the house. He pulled his shirt off tossing it next to us as he pulled me into his lap on the couch. I leaned back to admire his toned chest running my fingers throught the soft curls there. He slid his hand into my hair groaning into my mouth as he pulled me in for another kiss. He bit my bottom lip slowly dragging it between his teeth. He started. Peppering kisses down my jaw before leaving wet kisses along my neck.
His hands were everywhere roaming over bra squeezing my breasts, running them down my sides and around grabbing my ass. I felt his hand move around my back plaing with the clasp of my bra. “Need this off baby.” He mumbled against my chest. He managed to undo it and I let it fall tossing it to the floor. “Mm fuck yes,” He moaned dipping his head down taking one of my nipples into his mouth and teasing the other with his thumb. I moaned and rolled my hips against his. I could feel his hard cock straining aginst his jeans. He groaned against me giving the other nipple attention.
“You’re so fucking gorgeous.” He said stood from the couch picking me up and wrapping my legs around his waist.
“Sy!” I Squealed. He carried me to his bedroom setting me on his bed. He crawled on top of me. His hands were already on the waist band of my leggings.
“Is this okay,” He paused. I nodded eagerly and he chuckled. “Good girl.” He pulled them down swiftly with my panties leaving me completely bare infront of him. “Fucking beautful” he said as he starting kissng down my stomach. He nipped at my thigh leaving wet kisses there.  He pushed my legs open a little further and pulled me to the end of the bed. I was completely exposed to him but I didn’t care. I trusted him completely. He met my gazed and ran his and up my thigh before brushing his fingers through my folds. I moaned as his fingers brushed across my clit “God damn baby, all this for me? Fuckin soaked. “ He smirked He pressed his thumb to my clit rubbing in rough circles.
“Fuck!” I moaned “Logan please!” I grabed his wrist the sensation already feeling overstimulating. It’s been so long.
“We’ll get there baby.” He teased. Finally he kissed down my inner thigh and brushed his tongue against my clit.
“Oh my god!” I whimpered ran my fingers over his hair as he sucked on my clit. He slid two finger inside me pumping slowly. I squirmed against him but he used his other hand to hold my hips down. God he was so strong.
“Keep still sugar. Don’t make me tell ya again,” He said before going back to work on my clit and curving his fingers in side me pumping them a little faster. I was seeing starts. I pushed his head down holding him there.
“Oh my god, don’t stop!” I moaned. I came hard around his fingers and he slid them out and licked them clean.
“Mm you taste so good baby. So fuckin’ sweet.” He stood up from the bed finally ridding himself of his jeans and boxers. His hard cock rested against his stomach. He was huge. I bit my lip and he chuckled.
“I’ll go easy on you baby,” he said as he started crawling on top of me again.
“Mm wait,” He stopped raising an eye brow. I pushed him back against the pillows and kisses his lips softly. I kissed down his chest and finally settled between his legs. I bit my lip and looked up at him innocently “Just wanna taste it,”  He smirked.
“Dirty little girl ain’t ya, mm” he pulled my hair back guiding me down. I licked the length of his cock. He groaned softly. I loved the sounds he made. So deep and almost feral. I finally took the tip in my mouth and slowly started to suck him off. I took him as far as I could letting him hit the back of my throat. He growled. “That’s it baby, good girl.” I kept bobbing my head on his cock and wrapped my and around the base where I couldn’t fit him in. I felt him tug on my hair and pull me up. “That feels amazing baby but I’m not gonna last if you keep that up.”
He kissed me again and laid me down pulling leg over his shoulder. He ran the head of his cock up and down my folds getting it nice and wet. “You ready baby girl?” I nodded. He slowly pushed in. He held him self up bracing him self on one arm. He pushed in slow inch by inch letting me adjust to him. When he bottomed out he stayed there for a minute. “You okay baby?”
“Logan, it’s sweet that you’re asking but please fuck me.”  He let out a low growl and pulled almost all the way snapping his hips back into me. I moaned feeling him deep inside me. He grabbed my hip pulling me closer and kept thrusting into me. He moaned as he reached between us finding my clit with his thumb. The rythem of his thrusts and hitting just the right spot had me seeing stars. I came again around him moaning his name and other obscenities falling from my lips. “That’s it good girl.” He pulled out and flipped me over onto my stomach. He pushed back inside of me this new angle hitting that spot over and over again but I was so sensitive.
“Come on baby, you got another one for me?” He growled against my ear.
“Mm I can’t sy, It’s too much,” He reached around rubbing my clit in cirlces with his thumb.
“One more baby, please for me?” He picked up his pace hitting that spot over and over. I Moaned pulling at the sheets beneath me.
“Fuck I’m cumming!” I moaned letting go around him
“That’s my good girl, cum on my cock.” His thrusts were becoming erratic and he stilled and groan cumming inside me. He kissed my shoulder and layed down beside me. He pulled out slowly and pulled me to lay on his chest. “Holy shit,” He breathed. He fingertips brushed up and down my back. He smiled down at me. “You’re incredible. I don’t deserve you.”
“Shut up Logan,” I blushed Hiding my face against his chest.
“I mean it, your too good for this world Darlin’,” He smiled and kissed my head. “I’m gonna marry you someday, I know I haven’t even really taken you on a date yet. But baby when you know, you know,”
“Yeah?” I smiled  “I think I know what you mean.” He pulled the blankets up over us and held me for a while.
“Good, now get some rest Darlin’” He said running his fingers through my hair. I smiled snuggling up against him.
“Goodnight Sy,” I smiled.
“Goodnight sugar.”

HEY UHH CNA I REQUEST?
Logan x reader but the reader is very good at martial arts
So like maybe a headcannon or a story?...
a/n : hello! i got a little too into the story so it's pretty long, but i hope you enjoy! i tried my best with the martial arts thing, but the language could be wrong so i do apologize for that! it might be a bit ooc, as i'm trying to write these characters still. i enjoyed writing this, so i hope you enjoy reading it!
song : unspoken (dex)
Arcades are generally boring. You wouldn’t pick this place to hang out with the group, but everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, so you didn’t mind that much. You were zoning out, staring at the group and making sure no one got hurt.
“Hey, are you alright?” Logan asked, stepping away to talk to you. Your head snapped to him, being brought out of your thoughts quite quickly.
“Yeah, I’m fine, just bored.
“HEY GUYS! LET’S DO THIS ONE!” Aiden screamed, pointing towards a boxing-style game.
“Nevermind.”
~
The entire group decided to try the machine, just for the fun of it. Ben’s score was impressive, Ashlyn’s was good and so was Tyler’s. The group cheered you on as you stood in front of the machine. You hit it with your fist as hard as you good, and ended up with a score that rivaled Ben’s.
“WOO!” Aiden cheered. He slung his arm around you and started bragging. You saw Logan smile in the corner of your eye, and you smiled back. You heard the door of the arcade click open. Barron and his goons stood at the entrance.
Logan soon noticed this as well, going from watching Aiden bury himself in tickets to sweating over the fact that Barron was here.
Let’s be clear. You hated Barron. If there wasn’t any repercussions he’d already be in a ditch somewhere because of you. You would fight him over and over again to make sure Logan would never have to deal with that bastard. And you would win every. single. fight.
You watched him exit out the door, a shy kid in a blue hat trailing behind. That kid almost reminded you of Logan. That made you more angry. Fists clenched, almost snarling at the door they just left from. Oh, Lord, you thought, Hold me back.
“…I want to at least warn him.” Logan said.
“Well, go do what you gotta do.” Tyler said, “We’ll be here to help you if you need it.”
“Are you sure you don’t want anyone to come with you?” You asked, unsure about this whole idea.
“Actually… Could you come with?”
“Of course!”
~
You opened the door and held it open for Logan, allowing him to go first. You didn’t want to speak for him—as he was getting better at standing up for himself every day. This was a step in the right direction, you just wanted to make sure Barron didn’t pull a stunt you could prevent.
“Haha, wow! That caught me off guard. I never would’ve expected to see you here, four eyes. And who’s this lovely person you got with you?” Barron said.
You clenched your fists—almost enough to make you cut through your skin—and stared straight into his soul. Logan looked nervous. About Barron? About you starting a fight where there didn’t need to be one? Logan wasn’t stupid. He saw your score at the boxing machine. He saw you training with Ashlyn’s parents. You mentioned to him once that you had martial arts experience. He had seen it first hand. If a fight started, Barron wouldn’t be the one winning. He might not even make it out alive.
“It’s been a while, pal, how’ve ya been?” Barron smiled, as if he didn’t bully the shit out of Logan every day for at least a year.
Logan ignored Barron, turning towards the kid in the blue hat. You continue to glare daggers into Barron from where you were standing. “My name’s Logan.”
“Oh… I’m Noah.”
“…Is he making you do his homework? Because you shouldn’t have to do that.”
“H-he’s not making me… He just asked for help.”
“And you felt guilty saying no, right?” The conversation Logan was having with Noah faded into the background as you watched Barron intently. You watched him get up from the trashcan and walk over to Logan.
“Who do you think you are, twerp? Stop interfering.” Barron started jabbing Logan’s head, and continued, “You’re just a useless loser whose parents didn’t even want you.”
You stepped forward, ready to axe-kick this guy to the floor and beat him to a pulp, but Logan didn’t need your help. He swatted Barron’s hand away, “I’m useless? When you’re the one that refuses to do your own work and forces others to do it for you?” Chills ran down your spine at Logan’s words. “When you so pathetically waste others’ time while they are actually working for a better life?”
He was practically shouting now, “When you have nothing to give, not even a simple thanks?! You only take and harass and look down on others! If anyone here is truly and utterly useless it’s—”
Barron grabbed Logan’s hair and pushed him away, bringing up his arm to throw a punch at Logan. Logan quickly twisted him and threw him face-first into the concrete. His hands were pinned to his back by Logan. Barron struggled to get out of Logan’s grip. The lights flickered. You panicked.
“I think it’d be wise for you to start caring.” Logan said.
This place felt like the phantom realm all of a sudden. You turned to the door that opened with more of Barron’s friends. They held him back but you were at your limit. Logan can’t get himself out of everything. Ben felt the same as you watched him come out from behind a wall and grab the red-head’s face. You performed a quick back kick on the blonde.
Full hell broke loose.
The group was fighting others, and you were taking on upwards of three people at a time. Your teacher always taught you that violence was never the answer, but you disagree. You were kicking and hitting with more precision than ever before—even better than when you were in class.
You heard a scream sounding like Ashlyn. She fell to the floor gripping her ears, headphones scattered across the pavement. You ran over to her, defending yourself from Barron’s goons as you went. You grabbed her headphones as she screamed, “CALM DOWN!”
Barron and his friends left quickly after. You gave Ashlyn her headphones back and beelined to Logan. “Are you okay? You’re not too badly hurt right? I wanted to help you more but you did amazing on your own so—”
“I’m alright, don’t worry. But, you’re bleeding.”
“…Fuck.”

If You Cared (Part 5) | mv1
Tumblr media
It's been years since you've indulged in a vacation. What better time is there than summer? Your family, the beach house in Italy-it seems perfect. But, for things to be just like good old times, your family needs to invite his. So of course you are having mixed feelings as the boy who broke your heart re-enters your life like nothing happened. Warnings: None Pairing: Max Verstappen x Reader Word count: 2.3k Poetry style | Story style A/n: This is it! It's once again rushed because after tonight I wont have my laptop until late October and I really wanted to get this out. So forgive any errors please. I'll rewrite one day! Also, later on I'll write a sequel if you guys want me to because I love this story and the characters. Anyways, enjoy and to those of you who came along for the whole ride, I appreciate you more than you know<3 Cheers and I'll see ya in October! Part One|Part Two|Part Three|Part Four|Part Five
Tumblr media
Once your last suitcase was in the trunk, you were ready to go.
One flight took off the following morning at 6. You were willing to sit in that small, grocery store sized airport for a few hours. Anything not to see or think about him. Right now, every room in the house was drowning in memories. You were suffocating.
“Y/n, come inside please.” Your mother begged. It was pouring down rain, and you were sitting on the patio just watching the droplets ricochet off the pool water. “You’ll catch a cold.”
“I don’t mind.” You said.
She sighed, a signal of her defeat. When you left from the charity dinner, taking your mothers rental car with you, nobody but Mia followed. About an hour later, they all pulled into the driveway. Nobody said a word as they walked through the front door to see a pile of suitcases lined up. Nobody dared to even cough as they watched you throw them all in the trunk in the pouring rain. You were done. You’d had enough. Elba was just as dead to you as he was.
Mia begged you to stay the rest of the week, saying that it was Max who should leave, but you couldn’t explain to her how every square inch of the beach house reminded you of his touch. The kitchen brought back memories of his small, butterfly kisses when you both cooked dinner or when his hand would rest on your thigh at the kitchen bar. The living room just reminded you of all the times you fell asleep in his arms during a movie and how he would carry you to your room. Your bedroom was the worst spot of them all. Your sheets still smelled like him, the mirror still displayed his reflection, his clothes were still on your floor.
“I need to go home.” Was all you could say to Mia as she begged you not to.
“Y/n?” The patio door slid open softly, but you didn’t bother looking. “Can we talk?”
“I don’t really feel like speaking to you.”
Luca didn’t sit next to you, he didn’t walk up to you or approach you. Instead, he stayed behind you, speaking to your back. Never before had you or either of your siblings had a situation like this. The three of you had always been close but this. Luca had really done it this time. You also had a little resentment for Mia, too. She’d known for a while and still let you fall head over heels for Max. Was it her fault? No, but she could have said something. She should have said something.
“I’m sorry, y/n.”
“Wow,” You scoffed. “Suddenly everything is all better! Me and Max are getting married tomorrow, want to be the ring bearer?”
“Y/n-”
“What was going through your mind, Luca? Hmm? Can I just ask you that?” You shook your head. It was hard to understand this whole situation.
“I didn’t think he’d take this seriously. I thought he’d say no and laugh it off.”
“But playing with my feelings in the first place was alright? Because you thought he’d say no it was alright?”
Luca fell silent. Obviously it wasn’t right, that much was known. But he didn’t know how to express how sorry he was, or how he didn’t think it would go this far. No matter what he said, you would come back and rebuttal his comment with something more emotional, something more meaningful. Luca wasn’t one with words, he never was and never would be. In this moment, he wished he was.
“Here.” He dropped five or six envelopes on the table next to you. “Maybe you wont forgive me, but this wasn’t his idea.”
Before you could say anything, he was inside, closing the glass door behind him. You looked at the off-white envelopes. They had your family's address on them, but your name was clearly written on there. The return address? The Verstappen house. Not Sophie and Victoria’s house, but the childhood house that Max and his father lived in.
Your heart sank.
After finding the oldest one, dating back to only a few months after he broke up with you, you slid it open and pulled out the paper. A photo fell out, alongside a dried up, flattened rose petal.
Y/n.
I miss you. It might sound selfish to say, but I really do.
I don’t think I ever realized how important love could be in life. I saw it as more of a form of entertainment rather than a necessity. I knew my feelings for you were real, I knew they were physical and emotional and everything in between, but I didn’t know how hard they’d be to get rid of. Leaving you hurt, it hurt so bad that I felt like I couldn’t breathe on my way home. But, I thought they’d go away once I was back with dad. I thought they’d be like a stomach ache or migraine. Like I said, though, they are much harder to get rid of than that. Seeing all the love that other drivers have at the track, seeing their girlfriends and moms and families hurts me. All I have is dad and, well, you know what that's like. I’ve realized that I need someone like you, someone I can laugh with, someone I can talk to, someone who will tell me it's ok and that I won't fail in life after a bad race. I need someone on my side, not someone who is only team Max when I win.
I think of you every time I race. I dedicate every win to you-and mom of course. In the photo I sent, I won my first F3 Grand Prix. It’s a huge step in the right direction and at this pace, I’m set to be the youngest F1 competitor if I can make the Toro Rosso team in a few weeks. I hope you’re there to see it.
I get it if you don't want to talk to me. I know I broke your heart and ruined the rest of your summer but please, if any drop of your feelings were real please write me back. I could use the support.
Love, Max.
Sure enough in the photo a young, 16 year old Max was hoisting a trophy in the air as champagne was sprayed on him. You picked up the rose petal and it crunched in your grasp. Where had these gone? Why didn’t you get any of them? You didn’t move out at sixteen, why didn’t you get them?
The other ones followed the same idea as the first; I miss you, I messed up, I’m making promising moves in my career, please answer my calls or reach out, I love you, Love, Max. And sure enough, every single one made you cry. Near the end of the last one, however, Max wrote;
Take this as my final goodbye. I hope you’re getting these but I’m not getting any response so maybe you’re not. I deserve this, I know. But, I was really hoping things would be different. I’m sorry for the pain I caused you, y/n. If I could take it back, I would.
Dad told me to stop wasting time writing silly letters that get no response, so I guess this is my last one. Hopefully we can reconnect someday. I hope you're watching me on TV. I hope that a piece of you still loves me, as selfish as it sounds. There will always be a place for you in my heart, always.
Goodbye, y/n. I’ve always loved you, and I always will.
Max.
Your hand came up to cup your mouth. These letters were similar to the ones up in your room. Max loved to write, and on your 15th and 16th birthday, he wrote you two beautiful letters that you said you’d cherish forever. You left them in Elba when he broke your heart.
Without even thinking, you stood up, turning on your heel so quickly you were afraid you’d fall. With the letters cradled in your arms, you ran inside. The house felt empty. Nobody was around except for-
“Mia-” You called out in between tears. “Where is-where are-Max, where is Max?”
“He left-”
“What?”
She nodded. “What’s wrong?”
“I need to talk to him. Where did he go?”
“There’s a ferry leaving in like, thirty minutes. He’s going to get on that.”
You shook your head, tossing the letters on the counter before running to the front door. You grabbed a pair of keys and darted through the rain as your sister called out your name. Max at least deserved a chance to explain himself, right? Maybe he was too prideful, too nervous, too scared to speak to you himself. That was alright. You’d just go to him.
The drive was long, you were afraid you’d miss the ferry. It left at five am, you assumed, and it was 4:48 when you pulled into the dock. He was probably already on the boat, no? He was probably already in his seat waiting for the departure to begin. That wouldn’t stop you.
Maybe fate was on your side, maybe it was meant to be. Whatever it was, Max was standing in line to load onto the boat, suitcase in hand. “Max!” You shouted. He was still in his suit, you were still in your dress. Neither of you looked as elegant as before, but it would be wrong to say you thought he looked bad.
He turned to look at you, his eyes wide when he saw who was calling your name. “Y/n?” Max turned out of line and walked near you.
In seconds your arms were around his shoulders, pulling him into a hug that took him a few beats to reciprocate. You then pulled away, looking him in the eyes as tears flooded yours. He was confused, taken aback, even. “We need to talk.”
“But I’m leaving-”
“Please stay.”
-
“I’m mad at you, don’t get me wrong.” You said, looking off into the distance. There was a small cafe near the dock that was open for breakfast. So, the two of you sat outside and drank tea whilst looking like complete lunatics.
“So why’d you come get me?” He asked. “You could have completely let me go.”
“What good would that do? I would just hate you forever and it would eat me alive. Just like it did last time.”
Max shrugged. “I don't think I deserve a second chance.”
“Luca gave me the letters you wrote me as a kid.”
Max turned pale. “What?”
“Yeah,” You nodded. “I never got them as a girl or trust me, I would have written you back-or texted you at least.”
“I know you never got them.”
Did you hear him correctly? He knew? In the last letter he assumed you didn’t get them. “How’d you know?”
Max looked at the sunrise that was touching the horizon. The sky looked beautiful. There were no clouds, only bright shades of reds and yellows, blues and purples. The water from the ocean reflected the scenery perfectly. He didn’t know how to answer your question. It would be embarrassing if he did. He never planned on you seeing those even though he sent them.
“I was writing your address wrong. I was one number off or something, so they all got sent back at once. I sent them back after fixing it, but I called Luca and told him not to let you get them.” He said in one breath, cheeks igniting with a blush. “I was too embarrassed.”
That's why you didn’t get them.
You were torn. If he really cared he wouldn’t have taken the bet, right? If he really cared, he would have let those letters get to you. What if this was just another elaborate part of his plan? You wanted to believe it, you wanted to see the truth in Max’s story, but you couldn’t trust him. You couldn’t read him as well as you once could. A piece of you was saying, shut up and take it, he's your dream man, and another piece of you was saying, do better.
“Did you ever really care about me?” You asked.
Max looked at you with wide eyes. “What?”
“This summer,” You reiterated. “Did you ever really care about me? Be honest with me.”
Without missing a beat he said, “I didn’t just care about you, I loved you. I don’t like to admit my feelings-mainly because I grew up in a house where feelings didn’t exist-but I couldn’t hide the love I have for you. I’ve never been able to hide it. Ask dad, mom or Vic.”
You sighed. “The scary part is, Max, even after all this, even after I found out one of the worst things, even after I felt used and objectified, I still want you. Every part of my body is screaming no, telling me to run and leave without turning back but one small, small sliver of me is begging to stay.”
Max leaned across the table, palm coming to cup your chin. He smiled softly, his breath dancing across your cheek. It felt refreshing. It felt like summer. Perhaps things would be ok. Perhaps things would always be ok.
“So stay.” He said. “I promise to love you, y/n. I will love only you.”
Your lips connected to his. It was a soft kiss, one that reminded you of your first. Did you know what was going to happen once he went back to racing and you went back to work? No. Did you know if he was your boyfriend now? No. Did you know if things were going to work out? No. But honestly, nothing in life is for certain. But damn, sitting in front of an italian coffee shop, watching the sun rise over the ocean with Max’s lips on yours felt nice.
You were excited for a lifetime of moments like these. All of them with your childhood boyfriend by your side.
And yeah, you did feel like you could call him that now. You could call Max whatever the hell you wanted to.

Actor Au Wally darling x GN Human! reader (2)
Tumblr media
While you were walking out the guy from before ran towards you “wait the director!” This made you turn around “the-the director wanted you’re number.” He spoke out of breath, Right you forget about letting them know you’re number.
“Oh I’m sorry here it is.” He gave you a paper to write it down. “Thanks.” Then he walked away without another word. Which in return made you continue you’re way home.
Wally’s pov:
That little- I threw another object at my dressing room wall in raged by what the director told me.
“How dare they practically replace Me!” feeling the anger bubbling in me threatening to rage out again, but I heard a knock.
“Wally? Is everything ok?” I know that voice anywhere my best friend Barnaby I let out deep breaths trying to cool myself down. “Come in.” I replied
The I see him walk in looking around the dressing room “wow must be some bad news for you to be acting like this.” He stated seeming concern.
“barnaby… they are basically replacing me!” I yelled in anger but now with sadness mixed along with it, I could tell Barnaby was shocked “are you serious?” He questioned “of course I’m serious Barnaby, you know I would never joke about something like that!” I spoke just the thought of that, human taking my place.
“Wally I’m so sorry we will talk with the director.” He assured seeming confident they could change their mind “no… don’t even bother I know they been waiting for this opportunity, of course it fell right on their lap they aren’t gonna change their mind.” I advised.
He now seem defeated can’t blame him I feel it too “oh even is you’re replacement?” I let out a sigh don’t even want to think about them “it was some human that unfortunately despite my best efforts made it to the audition.”
“Now I can see why you told me not to bother changing their mind.” It’s unfortunate he knew what I meant immediately, sadly puppets still deal with oppression to this day.
I felt him hug my side “I promise Wally it will get better it always does.” I badly want to believe him but I can’t.
“Thanks Barnaby.”
(Y/N) pov:
I let out a gasp, the director gave me a message
[hello (y/n) hope this reaches you and we would be happy to say they you are hired for the new role of welcome home shooting starts on Monday 18th on 9:30 am please don’t be late]
I let out a excited screech “oh my cheese! I… I can’t believe this I got the part, I, I… man what should I do now?” You made a great achievement to the point you weren’t sure what you’re exact move should be.
“I guess I should tell my family!” You spoke feeling happy you called you’re immediate family and told them about the great news and of course they where ecstatic “sweetie we are so proud of you.” Stated you’re (parent 1).
“Yes sweetie we are, I hope this makes great things happen for you.” (parent 2) assured showing how much they cared and where excited for you.”
This made you happy next was to call you’re friend but you hesitated, they wanted the part you got would they be upset?
“Maybe I shouldn’t…” you didn’t tell you’re friend about the news, at least not yet.
But you love to tell them about it and you needed to vent about how Wally didn’t seem all that pleased to see you, you did hear that he wasn’t fond of humans.
But you weren’t gonna let that stop you.
“I’m sure he’ll get over it I just hope the rest of the crew is more nicer, at least I know Eddie is pretty nice.”
Wally pov:
The newest episode went by like normal until the near the end of the episode.
I felt a bit of annoyance looking at the fake new house that appeared in the neighborhood but I have to keep a happy face after all, the cameras are rolling.
“Wow there is a new home!” Cheered Julie “this gotta be interesting.” Spoke Barnaby
I looked Into the camera “neighbor look a new neighbor is coming, isn’t this wonderful news?, are you excited just like us?.”
I paused pretending to expect a response
“That’s good neighbor we must always welcome people with open arms, next episode we would officially meet the new neighbor, can’t wait to see you next week.”
I waved goodbye until the camera cutoff and I fake smile turn neutral.
“Get me a chai latte, now.” The assistant immediately went to get the coffee and I sat down as the makeup crew took off my eye shadow.
“Hey Wally.” I looked to see Julie “I heard about what happen.” She seem upset for me this made me upset too I never like seeing my friends like that.
“It’s unfortunate but yeah.” I sighed out “wow I thought it was a rumor at first never thought they would try to replace you.” She replied in disbelief.
“Yeah no worry Julie I’m sure the new member can’t be that good.” I stated with confidence
Time skip Monday 18th of this month:
You drove to the studio and made you’re way in, you see the director waiting for you.
Their faces lighten up when they saw you “there is the star of the hour.” The director declared I felt myself be nervous.
“Yeah the new neighbor.” I said with a chuckle hoping it well take off the nerves.
“Yes mrx.(l/n) into the dressing room immediately.” The director said as someone from backstage showed you you’re dressing room “there is a 70s theme outfit waiting for you in the room, a makeup crew will come shortly.”
Spoke the person that showed you the way and they immediately left to do their other task
“Oh alright.” You said as you walked in and looked to see the outfit, you actually liked it “wow can’t believe this is happening still.” You spoke to yourself part you wanted to believe this was a dream, but you did enough pinching to definitely say this is a reality.
You go into the outfit and you sat down waiting for the makeup crew until you heard a knock on you’re door “come in.” You assured as you look to see you’re surprise it was.
Previous:(1)
Next chapter:(3)
<- Back to MasterList or back to welcome home
(Lol cliffhanger b/c I’m evil 😈)

Unknown Dream
Descendants Mal X Male Reader.
Request -Hi, can you write Descendants Mal X Male Reader. The reader is the son of Sora. The reader lands on Auradon, after facing several Heartless, meets the VKs, and Reader and Mal fall in love.
Tumblr media
You don't recognize anyone or anything on the island of Auradon. You are just walking around until you figure something out. But you start to hear loud noises and you start to follow it. You see several heartless attacking a group of people but they do fight back, but they are outnumbered. You take out your key blade and you start to fight the heartless.
“Who is that guy?” Carlos asked.
“I don't know, I've never seen him before,” Evie said.
You keep fighting them and they are being defeated. But they start to help you fight and the heartless are all gone.
“Who are you?” Mal asked.
“My name is Y/n and I'm from Destiny Island,” You said.
“We never heard of that island. Exactly where it is?” Ben asked.
“It's an island next to Ocean Road. Where am I?” You said.
“Again, we never heard of these places. My name is Mal and you are on an island named Auradon” Mal said.
She starts to introduce you to her friends.
“What kind of weapon is that?” Ben asked.
“It's called a key blade, it's like a sword but different,” You said.
“Thanks for helping us defeat them,” Evie said.
You start to explain what is a heartless creature. Then they start to show you around the island and you get to know each other by their names.
✬ ✯ ✬ ✫
Jay and Carlos let you stay with them until they figure out how to get you back home. They went out but Mal went over to see how you were doing.
“Jay and Carlos aren't here,” You said.
“I came to see you, to see how you are doing,” Mal said.
“I’m doing fine. I'm starting to like Auradon but I still miss home” You said.
Mal takes you to the lake, thinking it could cheer you up. You and Mal sit next to each other and you show her a picture of your father, Goofy, and Donald Duck.
“That can't be his name Goofy” Mal giggled.
“I’m serious that's his name” You giggled.
“No” Mal laughed.
You laughed and she couldn't stop smiling at you. You take out a picture of you with your family and you tell her who is who. She opened up to you about her mother Maleficent and you told her about your father Sora. You and Mal are alone and she is happy about that because she is starting to like spending time with you.
———
You and Mal have spent more time together alone. She started to develop a crush on you and she starts to wonder if you feel the same way. Today, you are showing her how to use the keyblade.
“Wow, it's heavy,” Mal said.
“It takes a while to get used to the weight. But try to swing it like a sword” You said.
You are in the backyard of the castle. She did try to swing the key blade like a sword but couldn't. She did try again but couldn't, then you showed her how you hold it.
Later, she takes you into the village and you try new food. You didn't like every food, but you were happy to spend time alone with her. You and Mal are starting to open up to each other.
On the island, some people started to light fireworks. Everyone is starting to watch it and have a good time. You and Mal go to the boardwalk and sit down next to each other. Her hand is next to your hand and she puts her pinky on your finger. You start to smile and you keep watching the fireworks.
“I had fun with you today, Y/n” Mal smiled.
“Me too. Tonight is really beautiful” You smiled.
You turn to her then she looks at you. You slowly lean in and you kiss her then she kisses you back. The firework continued and she didn't stop kissing you.
“I really like you, Y/n” Mal said.
“I feel the same way and I like kissing you,” You said.
“Kiss me again, Y/n,” Mal said.
You kiss her again and she starts to smile.

GIRLIE OMGGG THAT TOGE FIC WAS ABSOLUTELY BANGER I'M DYING😭😭 I'VE LOST ALL MY SELF RESPECT AND HAVE COME TO WORSHIP YOU AND YOUR WRITING🧎‍♀️🛐
CAN THEE REQUEST AGAIN AND FOR OUR SHY SWEET BABY YUUTA GOING ON A DATE W US🫶🫶 FEEL FREE TO REJECT TY AND LOVE YOUU‼️
First Date
YUTA X READER. FLUFF. (Thank you so much 🥹. AND YES I CAN. But pls keep sending more requests I really do get excited when you guys send them 🧎‍♀️🧎♀️)
I looked into the mirror, “Don’t you think this is too much…?” I questioned myself as I looked at the date outfit Nobara helped me put together. “Nah, you look hot!” Nobara said with a thumbs up. I looked at the outfit, I was wearing a purple low v-neck halter top, with a white tennis skirt. She also let me borrow some cute sandals she had, and a lot of matching jewelry. “What’s wrong? You don’t look too sure,” Nobara pouted. “N-No don’t get me wrong, the outfit is beautiful… but I don’t think it’s my style,” I pointed out. “Hmmm… I guess you do have a point… Yuta is already so blushy blushy around you in just your uniform. Maybe this as a first date outfit might just kill him,” Nobara joked. “Stop it, and I think I’ll just change into some jeans and throw a sweatshirt over it, plus some sneakers cause what if we’re walking all day?” I pointed out. “Pretty good points, but I think I know what to put you in,” Nobara smirked.
“Oh wow! Nobara, this is so cute!” I smiled as I spun around. (You can think of any outfit you’d like, but for the story I’ll be using the image down below 🫡) “I’m glad you like it, but all I’m saying is that if I were asked on a date I would’ve dressed so hot he would’ve died the second he laid his eyes on me,” Nobara smirked. “Maybe it’s a good thing you haven’t been asked on a date yet… you might end up on the most wanted watch list,” I joked while grabbing my blue handbag. Nobara rolled my eyes and followed me to her door. “Alright I have to go! Or else I’ll be late!” I said as I ran off to the campus stairs.
I made it! I looked down the stairs to see Yuta already waiting. “Yuta!” I called out and rushed down the stairs. “Hey (Y/N),” he smiled. I made it to the last step, but before stepping down I tripped over my own foot. “Ah-“ I let out while falling forward. “(Y/N)!” Yuta said and quickly ran over to catch me. Yuta wrapped his arms around me and quickly caught me before I could hit the ground. “Ah… t-thanks Yuta,” I blushed as I looked up to face him. “N-No problem, I just didn't want you to g-get hurt,” he stuttered, while quickly letting go of me. “Thanks,” I smiled. “So what’d you have planned for today?” I asked. “Ah, well… I thought some ramen would be good to start with,” he said. “Ooh! Yeah ramen sounds perfect right now!” I cheered and led the way to the train station.
“That really hit the spot, huh Yuta?” I asked. “Mhmm, now there was a place I wanted to go to…” he trailed off as he looked around the street. I tilted my head in confusion. “There it is!” He said as he grabbed my hand and we ran over to the mysterious place he mentioned. Suddenly he stopped and I looked up and realized that we stopped in front of a flower shop. “Oh wow! Flowers!” I smiled. “Yeah, I have something I need to pick up,” he blushed. “You do?” I asked. “Yeah, wait right here… just for a second!” He said as he ran in. I shrugged my shoulders and looked across the street to see an older couple walking together holding hands. “That’s nice…” I smiled. I began turning my gaze back to the flower shop to check if Yuta was out, until I heard someone scream. I flipped my head back towards the couple, and noticed a man fighting the older woman for her purse. “Hey!” I yelled and began to run over. Before I could reach the man, he pushed the older woman and ran off. I watched as her husband quickly knelt down to tend to her. “I’ll get him! I swear!” I yelled and took off over the guy. I ran as fast as I could towards the man, I watched as he took a turn into a small alley. I slowly approached the alley, making sure he wasn’t about to jump out and attack me. I then saw a head peep from behind a dumpster. I heard him scoff, “It’s just a high schooler…” he laughed as he walked out. “Now run off girly, before you get hurt. Just needed some quick cash, it shouldn’t concern you,” he said as he tried walking away. “Hey! I ain’t letting you leave with that purse!” I yelled. “And what are you gonna do about it?” He chuckled as he turned back. He rushed over to me, and I got in stance ready to fight back, but before I could land a punch the dumpster was thrown towards the man. Throwing him against the wall, knocking him out. “What the-?” I cut myself off, as I felt a scary presence. I turned around and saw Yuta. “Yuta!” I said and ran over. “Are you ok?” He asked, but before I could answer he pulled into a hug. “God… I got scared…” he said as he slightly trembled against me. “Yuta, I’m ok… plus you know I can handle myself,” I smiled and looked up to face him. “I know, but… I should be the one protecting you, especially when you’re with me,” he said as he had a serious look on his face. “You wanna be my superhero?” I giggled. “N-No… not like that, but… I just want to make sure you’re safe. I’d rather get hurt than you,” he smiled. I felt my cheeks heat up, “O-Okay,” I said softly. “Now let’s go take that woman’s purse back,” he said. I nodded and we quickly went to retrieve the bag.
While walking back to the couple I realized something… “Hey Yuta? Where’s your flowers?” I asked. “About that… I dropped them the second I saw you run off…” he sighed. “Oh… were they for someone important?” I asked. “Umm… yeah, they were someone really special,” he sighed again. “Oh, I’m sorry! I’ll buy you some new ones,” I said nervously. “No, that's fine,” he smiled. “Hello!” We turned our attention towards the unfamiliar voice. We looked up and noticed the older woman from earlier. “We got your purse back!” I said, and handed her the bag. “Oh thank you so much, both of you!” She smiled. “And we made sure to call the police, we’d hate to have that happen to you again,” Yuta said. “Where’s your husband?” I asked. “He’s coming, he said he saw something on the floor and went to go pick it up,” she explained. “I see, well I’m glad you’re ok. That was a nasty fall,” I pointed out. “I may not look like it, but I’m one tough cookie. Just ask my husband,” the woman laughed. She quickly turned around, “Oh there he is,” she said. We looked over and noticed him carrying a bouquet of wildflowers. “The bouquet!” Yuta said in shock as the man walked up to us. “I saw you drop these, and I assumed that you were with our friend here,” he said as he looked over towards me. “Thank you!” He said as he grabbed the bouquet from the older man. “No problem, and thank you for helping us,” the man said, as he shook our hands. “We really appreciate it, and also you two really deserve each other. Going off to help a stranger, and you going off to back her up. Not a lot of people like that anymore,” the woman winked. I felt my face blow up, and I looked over to see Yuta also has a cherry face. “Th-Thank you miss,” I smiled. We said our goodbyes and headed our own way.
“What a crazy first date, huh?” I laughed as we walked up the stairs. “It was,” Yuta chuckled. “So happy you got the flowers, that person is super lucky,” I smiled. “(Y/N)… they’re for you,” he laughed. I turned around quickly, and stared at him in disbelief. “Well I was hoping to surprise you with flowers when I walked out of the flower shop, but…” he laughed. “They’re for me?” I asked, still in disbelief. “Well… I was hoping we’d be in a more romantic setting, but I was hoping if this date went well then…” he trailed off. “Then?” I encouraged him. “Then I was planning on asking you to be my girlfri-“ I cut him off. “Yes!” I said as I pounced on him. He caught me, but the flowers flew everywhere. “The flowers!” He panicked. “It’s ok, Yuta,” I smiled. “But how are you going to remember our first date?” He asked. “I got an idea,” I smiled as I cupped his face. Before he could get another word in, I pulled him into a soft kiss. I felt him tense up, but quickly relaxed and deepened it. We finally pulled away and stared at each other, slowly trying to catch our breath. “T-That can work,” Yuta stuttered. I laughed, before pulling him in for another kiss.

Forget Acting Cool- LAUGH! (Big Windup)
Tumblr media
Oops I fell down a rabbit hole and came back with some Big Windup content lols.
Heyo everyone! I think I'm on ep. 10(?) of Big Windup and let me just say: SCREW HARUNA! I said it, and I mean it! >:I dislike him greatly! So much so I had to write a fic about Abe getting cheer-up tickles to wash my brain of his jerkface! (Among other reasons- I really like writing Tajima lols) Anywho- I hope y'all like it :D
@intheticklecloset BOOM! Wasn't expecting THIS were ya? >:D
Summary: Takes place after the events of Ep. 8-10; Abe is quiet on the way back from the Stadium game between Urawa Sogo and Musashino. Mihashi is worried as Tajima finds an opportunity to get their catcher to perk up.
Abe was quiet on the way back from the stadium.
Most of the guys assumed he was just tired and let him be, but now knowing a new chapter of Abe’s history, Mihashi knew better.
Even though their encounter was short- talking to Haruna had an impact on the catcher’s mood- and not in a good way.
‘Are you okay?’ was on the tip of Mihashi’s tongue when he snuck a glance at his friend, watching him stare out the window with a heavy expression. He wanted to ask so badly, but he was concerned; would it bring unwarranted attention to something he didn’t want to talk about? Would Abe get mad at him for asking? He didn’t complain when Mihashi took a seat beside him, but that didn’t mean he was willing to talk. He dared another peek.
Abe was staring at him, brow raised. Mihashi squeaked, flushing red and dropping his eyes to his lap. “What?”
“Erm- n-nothing! I just- erm…” No point in hiding it now. “Are you o-okay?”
Abe didn’t respond, returning his gaze back to the window. Mihashi tried not to let his disappointment show.
“I’m fine. It’s nothing I can’t handle.” Abe spoke so quietly Mihashi almost missed it. Looking back at the other boy, he turned to give him his full attention in case he had more to say. “Just a bad experience, that’s all.”
“Still…” Mihashi didn’t know why he was pressing. Abe did so much for him- it didn’t feel right to just leave him brooding.
“Don’t worry about it, Mihashi.” That was it- a note of finality in the catcher’s tone. Not harsh, but not yielding. Drop it.
Nodding, the pitcher turned back forward in his seat. It wasn’t much, but at least he checked in.
“Oo, broody!” Tajima grinned from the seat behind them, leaning over it so he could drape his arms over the back. “Trying to look cool for Mihashi, are we?”
“Tajima…” Said pitcher whispered, scared of where this was going. Abe merely rolled his eyes, leaning further into the window.
“Are you ignoring me? Wow!” Tajima mock gasped, reaching out and prodding Abe in the ribs. “Talk about rude! Can you believe this guy, Mihashi?”
“Tch-Tajima, don’t!” Abe squirmed at the pokes, pressing his arm down against his side in an attempt to block. “We’ll crash!”
“Yes, cause you’re driving the bus alllllll the way back here.” Tajima snickered, moving upwards to Abe’s neck. “Good thing you’re not- who knows where’d you take us with your head in the clouds!”
“A-Ahehehehe! Doohohohn’t!” The thin line of his brooding expression wavered as giggles escaped. Abe scrunched up, trying to make himself small as Tajima tickled him. “M-Mihahhahashi help!”
Help? The request shook him to the core.
“Yeah Mihashi! Get his ribs for me- he’s too low!” Tajima pretended to massage Abe’s shoulders, pressing into the back of his neck and making the pitcher double down in giggles. “Coach is gonna get mad if I climb over the seat again!”
“Damn right I will!” Maria called from the front, earning a round of giggles from the team.
“Mihiiihashihihihih dohoohhoohn’t!” Abe tried to sound firm, but his laughing fits only killed any real meaning. “Dohohoohon’t hehehehehelp him!”
“Come on, don’t you wanna see Abe smile?” Tajima winked, going right for the jugular.
It was like Mihashi had two tiny beings on his shoulder- an angel in the form of Abe telling him to be kind and not assist. Then there was the tiny devil Tajima himself egging him on to join in.
He really shouldn’t; is that how he’d repay him for his kindness? What would Abe do for him in this situation?
Join in. The little angel and devil said simultaneously.
“Whahahat are you- Ehehehehehehehehehhe!” Abe shot up when Mihashi’s fingers prodded along his sides, pressing into his ribs gently. With new spots in reach, Tajima went for it, tickling like nobody’s business. “Stahahhhap, stahahhahahap this is ehehehheembahahhahrrsahahhhahaing!”
“No it’s not- it’s adorable! Isn’t he?” Tajima cooed, laughing along with him. Mihashi giggled to himself, equally pleased.
“No way- Abe’s ticklish?” Hanai perked up from his seat, grinning.
“Get him good, guys! Go for the ears!” Oki called out.
“Dude, why ears?”
“I don’t know- seemed like a good spot.”
“How is it-”
“EHEHHA!”
“See? I told you!”
Oki was correct; Abe’s ears were pretty ticklish. Though the reaction didn’t come from them, but rather Mihashi giving his knees a friendly squeeze just to see what would happen. “Sorry, Abe.”
“Don’t be- he needs it!” Tajima cackled, barely heard over the squeaks and laughs Abe let out.
“SHUUHUHUHUUSSHI! AHEHAHHAHAHHA, YOOHOOHOHU TWOHOHOHOHO! AHEAHAHHAHAHA!” Abe tried sinking to the floor, but between Tajima and Mihashi, he was effectively trapped. His cheeks were warm and pink, eyes squeezed shut in mirth as he tittered. It was a definite improvement from earlier.
“Heh, okay okay. Give him some breathing room.” Maria clapped her hands, signaling them to stop. Tajima pulled away as Mihashi scooted back some, watching Abe gather himself. “You good, Abe?”
“Eh..ehheehhe…heh.” He couldn’t speak, so he gave a thumbs up, earning a hoot of cheers and cackles from the bus. Soon everyone returned to their own things, popping back in earbuds and cozying up for naps. Abe pulled himself up, slumping forward until his head hit the seat before them.
Mihashi’s guilt came back; he didn’t mean to tickle him that much. Words were at the tip of his tongue once more.
“I’m okay.” Abe reassured without looking, startling the pitcher. “Erm…thanks I guess. I kinda needed that.”
A thank you!  Mihashi blinked back tears as he smiled a wobbly smile, day made.
It was so little, and it really didn’t do much in regards to Haruna and the feelings associated- but Mihashi sat a little taller in his seat knowing he helped Abe out.
Thanks for reading!

Rooting For You | Sebastian Sallow X Fem!hufflepuff Reader
Summary: Y/N Comes to wish Sebastian good luck before his quidditch match. Just fluff :)
Note: Hey everyone :) I'm in the process of writing my own fanfic and I wrote a scene I really like and wanted to share! I will probably won't publish the whole fanfic, as it is probably written badly. English I not my main language and I don't want to frusturate people with mistakes over so many chapters.
UPDATE: fanfic is now out :) you can read it here.
Again, this scene is not written perfecly, but I do hope you enjoy even if I made some mistakes. Let me know what you think <3
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sebastian stood in the Slytherin quidditch dressing room, looking at himself in his uniform. Oh how he missed wearing the uniform - the feeling of flying, the excitement that followed after his fist wrapped around the golden little snitch, and the loud cheers from the green crowd everytime they won.
He thought he looked pretty handsome. Some will say it is very vain of him, but he liked to know the strengths and weaknesses of people, including himself. It goes without saying, he was very well aware of his weaknesses too. His tendency to lose control over his emotions, his stubbornness, his sister, Ominis, and a new additional weakness that came in a form of a bright smile and yellow uniform.
“Boo!” Sebastian jolted and met the eyes of the very weakness he was thinking about just now. He put a hand on his heart and took a deep breath.
“You frighten me!” He scolded her with a smile. It was hard not to smile when she was around. He did not have many reasons to smile lately, and he was grateful she gave him a reason to smile.
She returned him a smug look. “Ha! that will teach you! You do this to me all the time.”
He took a step closer to her and looked down at her. He grew taller this summer, and she stayed about the same. He was already pretty tall, but this summer he changed a lot. “Never took you as the petty type, Y/N. What are you doing here anyway? Came to sneak a peek at me shirtless?”
She was lost for words and red blush climbed up her cheeks. He loved teasing her and making her blush. “I-I-I most certainly did not!”
“If you say so.”
“I came to wish you goodluck.” she looked down trying to hide her blush.
He chuckled to himself. “Goodluck? You know if we win against the lions today it’s bad for you badgers? Shouldn’t you be loyal to your house?”
“Y-Yes. But I’m also loyal to my friends.” She stuttered at the start, but at the end of the sentence she lifted her chin proudly,
He took another step closer, only inches far from her. “Well, I did read somewhere that a kiss on the cheek is an exceptional charm for good luck.”
Y/N rolled her eyes and smiled, pushing him playfully. “Okay, Sallow, where would you read that?”
“I can’t tell you all my secrets now, can’t have you go around using all the luck for your own house.”
“Wow! And here I thought I was being the bigger person wishing you good luck and rooting for you to win the game.”
“You are. Thank you, Y/N. It does means a lot.”
She smiled shyly. He did it sometimes, switched between playful banter to charming compliments and all the way to heartful truths. He loved watching the surprised faces, as if they did not realize he was capable of this variety of emotions. “You are absolutely welcome. I guess I just didn’t want you to die painful death by Imelda if you lose this game.”
Sebastian laughed. “Oh, that’s charming. You are worried about me?
“You know I do, idiot!”
Her heartful truth made his heart shatter to thousand pieces. He did not deserve her kindness, her care, her love. He wanted to kiss her so bad, but he knew it would be wrong. She does not deserve to be with a guy like him, even though the thought of her being with anyone else made The Cruciatus Curse sounds appealing. He was scared of giving away his emotions. He already found himself staring at her lips and quickly brought back his gaze to her eyes.
“Anyway, goodluck Seb, I’ll be in the bleachers rooting for you.”
He felt his body filling with energy when she said those words, with a sweet smile on her lips.
“Just don’t forget to wear your ‘I heart Sebastian Sallow’ shirt.”
Y/N rolled her eyes. The thought of her wearing a shirt like this made Sebastian beam like an idiot. He was not fond of acting like an idiot, but when it came to her, it was stronger then him. He realized he did not care of being an idiot around her.
“You are unbearable.”
He laughed. “I try.”
“Well then, I’ll let you do your thing. Goodluck! See you after the game.”
She came closer and wrapped her arms around his waist. He drew her closer hoping she would not notice his heart is beating like crazy. He would give up all the Galleons in the world to stay in this moment forever. She was the light in the darkness that has been Sebastian’s life. She was his comfort, his friend, his weakness.
When she broke off the hug he sent her a smile. She turned her back to him and was about to leave when he tried to regulate his breath. Before he could exhale, she was back inches from his face and planted a tender kiss on his cheek. “Just in case, you promise to take me to honeydukes this weekend so you better survive.”
And she left. Again, he stood there like an idiot with hand on his cheek where she kissed him. He tried to savor the feeling of her lips against his cheeks, still feeling a shadow of her touch.
After a moment Imelda entered the room, examined him like a potion in a cauldron that has the wrong color.
“Are you alright?”
“Oh, I am better than ever.” He smiled.
“Well then, listen to me Sebastian Sallow! We better win tonight or I’ll-“
“Don’t worry, for we are winning one hundred precents.” He smiled.
“Love the confidence, but how are you so sure?”
He smiled at her and held his cheek. “I have my lucky charm.”
Hi! I had a fun idea! I didn’t see a character limit, so I’m going to request a small thing for all the boys (you can choose whomever you wanna write for if there is a character limit, but at least have Lilia please :’) )
Let’s say every time it’s someone’s birthday, the prefect gives the birthday boy a kiss on the cheek as “it’s tradition where I’m from~”
Hi Anon! This is such a cute request <3. Thank you for sharing it! This is the third thing I’ve written about kissing Lilia in less than two days- what is happening with me. >:)
~~~~~
A Kiss for the Birthday Boy~
“Happy Birthday!!” You cheered for the boy of the hour and *mwah* kissed him on the cheek. “Just a little thing we do where I’m from~”
~~~~~
Lilia:
Surprised for an instant
immediately becomes cheeky
He chuckles and smirks
“Heheheh~ I am curious as to know more about your little tradition… perhaps you should demonstrate it again~”
~~~~~
Riddle:
The boy is a tomato
Stuttering and stammering all over the place
Congratulations! You broke him
“I- Rule 4- uhm 4-45! No public displays of a-affection in the gardens! On a.. a Wednesday!!”(He’s grasping at straws here)
Trey:
It definitely surprises him
He puts and hand over his face trying to cover his flushed cheeks and laughs
He doesn’t know what to do guys he’s caught of guard
“Wow- thank you (y/n), it means a lot.” *cue the sweet boi smile*
Cater:
“Wait Wait Wait do it again!”
You’re confused but do it again
*click* aaaaand he took a picture
“Wait till my followers see that I got a kiss from THE prefect~”
“Cater- put the phone down”
Ace:
Cocky cocky cocky
Boy did you activate this mans ego
“Are you sure you didn’t just want an excuse to kiss me~?” *eyebrow wiggle* You turn around to walk away. “NO WAIT (Y/N) COME BACK!”
Deuce:
You broke him too
You’d swear he had completely disassociated from reality
“Hello? Earth to Juiceeee??” Shut up Ace
His face suddenly takes on a look of determination and his kisses your cheek back
“Uh- I um- you- uhhhhh-“ he cannot form words
Leona:
Honestly surprised he showed up for the event
He pretends to be disgusted swatting you away like you’re a fly
“Yeah yeah just don’t do it again herbivore.”
He actually does want you to do it again :/
Ruggie:
Happy boy happy boy happy boy
Immediately holds his cheek like he doesn’t want the feeling to go away
Teasing teasing teasing
“Shishishi looks like you finally stole something from me.”
Jack:
The man goes stifffff
He turns his head away to save face (he’s blushing)
Don’t look now but his tail is wagging
“That’s- yeah- … thank you.”
Azul:
You’re breaking so many boys
He tries to be so calm and composed but the red shade of his face betrays him
“Well- *clears throat* that was unexpected prefect… But d-don’t think that’s any sort of payment!”
Jade:
He’s pleasantly surprised
His eerie smile never leaves his face
“Oh? What an interesting custom. Why don’t you tell me more?”
Floyd:
Smiles with allll his sharp teeth
He’s a gigglin
“Ohh shrimpy~ I think you missed~”
Run. Start running. You are no longer safe. He’s chasing you.
Kalim:
Happy happy happy!!!
immediately grabs your face to kiss your cheek back.
REALLY?? THATS SO COOL!!” he’s literally beaming
Jamil:
shook
You kissed him? Him!?!
He doesn’t really know what to do or what to say.
“Oh.”
Give him a break. This is new to him.
Vil:
He’s used to attention but not quite this type of attention
As long as you didn’t mess up his makeup, you’re fine
Takes out a mirror to check if you left a mark (lol)
“Hmm thank you. Your gesture is much appreciated dear.”
Rook:
Immediately grabs your hands with a smile that’s kinda scary-
Starts muttering rapidly in fluent French before he says anything intelligible
“Mon Dieu! It’s Magnifique! What a tradition!!”
He’s loud and dramatic about it
Epel:
He’s a mix of shock/confusion and cocky
He grabs your shoulders and shakes you aggressively
Now you’re confused
“EY- YOU CANT JUST GO ROUND DOIN SUMTHIN LIKE THAT”
“But you could do it again… i-if you wanted.”
Idia:
I see two possibilities for this
1. He actually leaves his room for the party
Idia.exe has shut down
You absolutely fried him
I quote him from the ghost marriage event “Dude, I will literally DIE if we smoocharoo”
2. He sends his tablet in his place
You kiss the screen
Now he can die happily in the comfort of his own room
Either way he’s a sputtering mess
Ortho:
Happy babey happy babey
He’s floating circles around you
“I have to go tell my brother!!”
Malleus:
He’s immediately all smiley
He grabs your hand and places a kiss to your knuckles
“I quite enjoy your homelands tradition my Child of Man, may I attempt it?”
Yes please do
Silver:
He was asleep and your kiss woke him up (sleeping beauty much?)
“What? Oh. Thank you.”
He kisses your forehead
“It is only right that I return the gesture”
Sebek:
He has to buffer for a second before
Oml the volume-
“I APPRECIATE YOUR TRADITION, BUT PLEASE REFRAIN FROM DOING SUCH THINGS IN THE EYES OF THE PUBLIC AND MASTER MALLEUS”
It’s because you did this before the hand holding stage- so inappropriate

Sunny Day Jack Transcript - INTERVIEW - 41683
I've decided it's long past overdue to write up the transcript of the interview Jack has while in character back in 1983 when the SunnyTime Crew Show was at its peak in popularity. You can listen to this audio for yourself after playing through the demo of Something's Wrong with Sunny Day Jack, along with [Redacted]'s interview with the psyche consultant.
Disclaimer - I have auditory processing disorder, which makes it difficult for me to translate sounds into words, so please forgive any errors I might make. If I got something wrong, please do let me know so that I can correct it. Thank you.
@channydraws @earthgirlaesthetic @sai-of-the-7-stars @cheriihoney @illary-kore @okamiliqueur
...
(A click of starting a tape playing. Audio starts a bit distorted then clears up.)
Dan: Alright. Now… I’m assuming that out of all of you listening today, some of you have to be parents, right? I’m sure quite a few of you have been tuned in to this new kids show - big hit, it’s everywhere. It’s inescapable, really. I’m of course talking about the SunnyTime Crew Show.
Dan: Now I have to admit, I don’t really know what all the fuss is, but… then again I am 36 and if I did, I’d… (awkward chuckle) I’d have bigger things to worry about. (chuckle)
Dan: But today we are making an exception. We have with us one Mr. Sunny Day Jack, who I am to believe is the… the leader? The front guy? For the mass acclaimed SunnyTime Crew. How you doing, Jack?
Jack: (cheerful) I’m great, Dan! Thanks for having me on the show. Glad to be here.
Dan: (enthusiastically) I can tell. For the folks at home, you can’t see this, but wow, this guy can smile! Look at that. Your dentist must be so proud!
Jack: (modest chuckle) Oh it’s nothing a simple and consistent brushing routine can’t do, but thank you! I do my best.
Dan: (more moderate tone) Of course you do, of course you do… Now. Why don’t you tell me a bit about yourself, hmm? Tell me about Jack.
Jack: Well…, I’m sure that, as you said. I’m part of the SunnyTime Crew. I wouldn’t say I’m a leader or anything. We all just kind of do our own things, and… You know. We help the kids at home learn and talk about their feelings. There are a lot of ways to do that, and we run through them all with the kids, and… (soft laugh) Well, I mean, there’s not too much to say about it. I think it’s a very important job and I… I like it. I get to come into so many homes and be there for so many young viewers, and… Sometimes they really need it… and sometimes they don’t, but… the company is nice to have around… Yeah.
Dan: Right, right… If I’ve read up on this show correctly… you’ve all been burning hot and fast haven’t you? You know, what with all the toys and the lunchboxes and the… um… What was it? An ice show?
Jack: Oh! Uh, we’ll be doing a small live tour, nothing too big. We’ll be doing some singing, some book readings… really interacting with our fans. It’ll be a lot of fun! But if you want to know more, you can find out more information by calling in at-
(Audio glitches out and becomes incomprehensible for a second.)
Dan: Right, right, so… If you don’t mind me putting this out there… You’re kind of a celebrity, aren’t you?
Jack: (slightly awkward) I… guess you could say that. But really, we’re all-
Dan: Then we’ll put you through the same wringer as the rest of them. You’re a fine young man - plenty strong, plenty (grunting sound), you know? And you’re in there, right? Mom’s home, you’re taking care of the kids while she… you know - irons or cooks or whatever. Tell me. Do you ever get fans who are moms?
Jack: (slightly awkward) Well… sometimes. You could say that. (cheerful) And they’re really nice, just like the kids!
Dan: (sly) I’d put money on you being the crush of at least half of the housewives across America who tune in. You could do that, you know.
Jack: (awkward) I-I… guess. I wouldn’t really know.
(Awkward silence for a few seconds.)
Dan: (chuckle) Anyways… I believe… you’re on the show today with a mission?
Jack: Actually yes, Dan. I just wanted to come on and let the parents know that this weekend, me and my friends will be at the-
(Audio distortion glitches out the recording.)
Jack: -East of the-
(More audio distortion.)
Jack: -And you know, I’d love to meet and make as many new friends as possible. So, if you’d like to come down and say, “Hi,” we have balloons and games and activities!
Jack: Well, uh… actually we’ll be doing pictures and book signings too. We’re a local show, and it means a lot to have these opportunities. I just think it’s really great to be able to thank you all in person. As parents, your kids, we love teaching them and helping them grow… but when that TV turns off, it’s really is you who comes in and does the important work.
Dan: Aww… Isn’t that sweet? Unfortunately… (feigned surprised/disappointed gasp) Oh! Would you look at that? It seems like we’re out of time. But before you go though, I have to thank our sponsors and… One last question before we go, Jack. I’m asking on behalf of all the mothers out there. Ladies, thank me later.
Dan: Are you sure you aren’t… holding out on us at all? Like, come on! A guy your size has to have come from modeling or something. I’m putting it out there - there’s gotta be a picture of this guy in somebody’s charity calendar. I’m serious! Check your Mr. Junes, folks! Nobody gets this fit for themselves-
Jack: (curt) Alright. Thank you for having me, Dan. It was really… nice to be here. Um… Parents, we’ll see you this weekend. Remember, that’s at the-
(Audio distortion.)
Jack: -Mall, East of the-
(Audio distortion.)
Jack: -I’m really looking forward to it, and you should be too.
Jack: (cheerful, in character) This is Sunny Day Jack signing off, and wishing you a Sunnytime-tastic day-
(Voice distorts on the final words and fades out to static. The tape stops with a click. The beep of a TV with no signal plays before the audio ends.)
...
Additional Notes: A charity calendar are calendars made to raise funds for a particular local charity. The most well known and best selling charity calendars featured naked models posing provocatively for each month's image. These were one of the ways people could get their hands on pornographic imagery before the advent of the internet.

here’s my ddlc tickle fic i wrote…I’ve been working on this all dayyyy idk ig I’m just in a ddlc mood lol I hope you enjoy it’s kinda long and I got lazy towards the end ><
Sayori cheer up!
Lee Sayori Ler everyone else
cw: bad self talk/minor swears
Sayori isn’t feeling too good about life, and the girls try to cheer her up
———————————————————————
Sayori looked at herself in the bathroom mirror. A sad, tired, and puffy eyed girl looked back at her. She tried smiling at herself to try and make it seem like she hadn’t been crying all night, but nothing seemed to work.
The literature club was about to begin and she didn’t want to walk in and have the others notice her appearance and worry. She never wanted to be a burden to the others, but more than often, she felt that she was.
Sayori then splashed cold water on her face and thought to herself;
“Alright, let’s go to the club. It’ll be okay” She sighs, and walks down the hall.
The literature club was about to start and only three of the members were in the room. Yuri was silently reading in her seat, and Natsuki was doodling little cats in the margins of her poem sheet.
Monika glanced over at the clock as she wondered where Sayori was. She usually didn’t come in this late. Plus she was the Vice President. Her and Monika would often prepare the club together before the others got here.
Suddenly the door to the classroom slowly opened and Sayori popped her head through. Monika sighs with a breath of relief.
Natsuki looks over and grins at her. “Wow you got here later than me, slowpoke!”
Yuri gives her a little wave, and then returns her gaze to her novel.
“Hi guys!! Super duper sorry I’m late. I had to talk to my last period teacher.” Sayori exclaims. She looks at the others with a smile but it wasn’t genuine.
Monika walks over to greet her.
“Great! We can get started with activities now.” Monika says with a smile.
As Sayori sits down in a desk next to Natsuki, Monika heads to the front of the classroom to address the others.
“So last meeting, we all agreed on to write a poem that reflects the ideas of love. Does anyone want to present first?”
Shit.
That was the one thing Sayori forgot. A poem. Probably the most important thing to bring to a literature club. Sayori was often forgetful, but last night sure did not help. She was so worked up and upset she ended up going to bed without writing anything. Her smile fades as Monikas words drowned out from her mind.
Sayori’s thoughts of anger and depression started to swarm her mind again.
“Goddamnit, you couldn’t even write a poem? It’s the most important thing for club! Stupid stupid stu-“
A voice cut her thoughts off.
“Sayori?” Monika says
“Are you okay? I asked if you wanted to go first.”
She jolts up, looking around the room. The three girls looked back at her with confused and concerned faces.
Sayori fidgets with her hands and looks down at her desk.
“I um, forgot to write a poem” She says quietly.
Monika looks at her friend. Her demeanor today was much more sad and gloomy than her usual bubbly self. Something was up.
“That’s alright, sometimes we all forget to write our poems.” Monika says. Which was only half true, since Sayori was usually the only one who did forget to write.
Sayori stands up from her desk.
“Sorry I’m going to go to the bathroom, I’ll be right back.”
She rushes out the room and hurries down the hall.
As she leaves, Monika looks at the other two girls with a worried face.
Yuri perks up “There’s something off about her today. I hope she’s alright.”
“Agreed.” Monika replies.
“I wish we could help her out.”
Natsuki looks up at the two. “I have an idea we could try”
The three huddle together and listen to Natsukis proposal.
———————————————————————
Meanwhile, Sayori faces herself in the bathroom mirror once again. Only this time, tears streamed down her face.
She sniffled and wiped her tears away.
“Why do I have to be so stupid?”
She takes a quick breather and leaves the bathroom to head back to the club.
Sayori walks back into the classroom and is immediately greeted by a hug from Natsuki. The sudden force from her almost knocks Sayori off her feet but stumbles to hold on to the shorter girl.
Then Sayori feels a much more gentle embrace from behind, and it’s Yuri.
Monika walks over and smiles, also getting in the group hug.
“Woah, what’s this about?” Sayori asks, while being held in the middle of the hug.
“We just wanna let you know that we love you” Yuri says bashfully.
“And we don’t care if you write a poem or not!” Natsuki exclaims.
“However you’re feeling, just remember that we will always be there for you.” Monika says.
Sayori is a little bewildered. She looks down at the floor for a minute. “But guys, you really don’t have to worry… I’m totally fine-“
Suddenly, Yuri has both of Sayori’s arms held by her own, essentially taking Sayori in her grip.
Sayori gasps and struggles to try to free herself in the hug, but she can’t move.
Natsuki then pounces into a tickle hug, and scribbles her fingers on Sayori’s sides.
Sayori is caught off guard and squirms around. Monika then moves to one side of Sayori and gently scritches underneath one of her underarms.
“g-gahaAhaHahAH! W-haHat arehe you guhuys doing?” Sayori says with a fit of giggles “Thahahat tickles!!”
Natsuki looks up at her with a smirk, “We’re gonna tickle you until you tell us what’s up!”
Sayori shakes her head and shuts her eyes. “NahAhHa! N-NothingheHe is up!”
The three other girls looked at eachother and nodded their heads.
Suddenly, the tickles intensified. Fingers shot up into Sayori’s underarms, and danced around her ribs. Her giggles turned to bubbly laughter. Without her blazer being buttoned, she didn’t have a layer to protect herself from the hands of her friends.
Sayori’s knees shook as her tickle spots were being attacked. Soon, she collapsed on the floor, sending Nat and Yuri down with her.
Sayori fell into Yuris lap, as Natsuki sat in front of her. Monika knelt down and stared at Sayori with a concerned look.
“You don’t really have to tell us what’s up, but we wanted to see you smile.. a real smile”
Yuri nestled her head into Sayori’s neck and nodded silently. Natsuki gave Sayori pokes to her ribs and giggled at her flinches to the sensation.
Sayori giggled as she felt Yuri’s breath on her neck, and Natsuki poked all over her ribs. Sayori looked down without meeting any of the other girls gaze. She thought to herself, her friends really did care about her. She silently giggled but refused to give them a smile.
“Cmon Sayori! Let’s see that smile!” Natsuki says, now pulling up Sayori’s sweater vest and shoving her hands under to meet her bare skin. She spidered her blunt fingernails on Sayori’s stomach.
“N-nahagha noo!” Sayori said
Yuri then brought her hands to Sayori’s sides and gave her extremely light tickles. Yuris nails were well manicured and the touch to her skin was mere torture.
With Yuri behind her attacking her sides, and Natsuki in front getting her ribs and stomach, she could only take so much more. She tried squirming out of Yuri’s grip and out from under Natsuki, but she couldn’t escape.
Suddenly Sayori’s giggles turned to laughter as she felt hands tickling her knees. Monika sat behind Natsuki, spidering on the tops of her knees.
“GaHAhHa!! STOPAGAHAHA!! STAHAHAP!!”
“Wow you’re so ticklish here Sayori!” Monika teased.
Sayori’s eyes were screwed shut and she thrashed against her friends.
The three others all looked down at the girl. A big goofy smile was plastered on her face, with blushing cheeks. Giggles pouring out her mouth as they tickled her.
Their touch slowed down as they allowed her to steady her breathing.
“Ehehehe…you.. you guys are sohoho mean” Sayori says with a weary smile.
She twitched at the tickly feeling still lingering on her body. She looked at her friends, who all stared down at her with kind smiles. The whole time they had tried to make her feel better, because they cared so much about her. Tears began to swell up in the corners of her eyes.
“Ahh! She’s crying, tickle her again!” Natsuki said, as she dug into Sayori’s sides.
Sayori sits up and squirms around while Natsuki tickles her midsection.
“n-nahahgah no!! theyehehre tears of joy!”
“Oh..” Natsuki pulls back her hands and stopped teasing the other girl.
They all now sat in a circle in the front of the room. Sayori looks at the rest of them and smiles genuinely.
“Thank you guys, I feel a whole lot better” Sayori says
The rest all nod and smile.
“Natsuki told us that you needed some cheer up tickles” Yuri spoke up
“Yup, all her idea” Monika mentions. Natsuki smiles pridefully.
“Really? Well then I’ll definitely have to get you back Natsuki” Sayori then wiggles her fingers at Natsuki, which makes her blush and look away. Sayori giggles at her reaction.
“We’re just glad you’re feeling better.. you know that you can talk to us about anything right?” Monika asks
Sayori looks at her, and then glances down at her lap.“I know, it’s just hard for me to talk to you guys about my feelings.”
“I love you guys so much”
Yuri, Monika, and Natsuki looks at her.
“We love you too Sayori”

Merry Christmas + happy holidays @askpokepals!!!
(writing under cut! it turned out longer than intended ngl)
“Gah!”
A piece of paper flutters in the wind, smacking Sarah in the face. She quickly skims it over, “A wishlist?”
She looks up, watching a Hoopa’s ring shimmer away, and back to Hugh and Sparkle, who are battling fine together. “They won’t miss me for like an hour, will, they?”
Pulling out her aerodactyl Wyvern’s pokeball, she tosses him out and they fly off.
“Let’s see, something to decorate a clubhouse and something from a band…” She checks her phone’s map, “Wow, we’re almost in Galar! You’re a fast flier, bud!” Wyvern trills in agreement.
She stops at a store and picks up a pack of fairy lights, ones that twinkle between light shades of pink, blue, and purple. She also grabs a poster featuring Piers.
Sending out Wyvern again, she mounts his back. “To Spikemuth, Wyvern!”
“Sarah! Good to see ya.”
“Hi, Piers!”
He puts his phone in his pocket and ruffles her head affectionately, “How’s the Alola region treatin’ ya?”
“It’s been really nice! Everyone there is so relaxed, you know.”
“Heh, I figured. You run into Uncle Grimsley yet?”
“Yeah! He and Uncle Lucian are with Aunt Lusamine right now.”
“‘Right. Wish ‘im well from me ‘n Marnie, kay?”
She beams at her friend, “You got it!” She digs into her bag, pulling out the rolled up poster. “Could you do something for me, actually?”
“‘Course. Want that signed?”
“Yes.” She hands him the poster as he takes a black marker out from his pocket. “It’s for someone’s Christmas wishlist.”
“Ain’t it a bit early for that?”
“Yeah well,” She thinks for a second. “It’s probably from another universe or something.”
“Figures,” He scribbles his signature and hands the poster back. “I’ll never understand ‘em.”
Sarah checks her phone, “Oh shoot, I’ve gotta get going. Thanks a lot, Piers!”
“Cheers, Sarah. Was good to catch up.”
“Aunt Lusamine!” She bursts into the woman’s office, causing her to shut the holographic screens around her desk.
“Sarah! What’s wrong?”
“Nothing, nothing.” She takes a deep breath, having dashed through Aether Paradise. “I wanted to know where you keep your wrapping paper?”
“Wrapping paper? Oh, for a present right?” She chuckles, “You bought a present for Rose and Giovanni’s wedding?”
“What? No. Actually maybe I should… But no. It’s a Christmas present.”
“Oh! Well we do have the materials, but I’m not certain we have any Christmas colors.”
“That’s fine! Just tell me where it is and I’ll get out of your hair!”
“They should be somewhere in the main entrance, probably around the desks.”
“Thanks, Aunt Lusamine!”
“Good luck, Sarah.”
“Hi, Uncle Lucian! Uncle Grimsley!”
She drops a bunch of materials, including a roll of wrapping paper and a spool of ribbon, across from them.
“Hey, Sarah.” Grimsley looks at the things she’s tossed on the table, “You’ve been busy, huh?”
“Yeah! I’ve been working on someone’s wishlist in an alternate universe!”
“That’s quite nice of you.” Lucian hardly looks up from the book he’s reading.
“Do you guys think I should write a card?” She doesn’t give them time to answer, “Oh Uncle Grimsley! Piers and Marnie say hi!”
“You saw Piers?” He checks his phone, “Only in the last hour?”
“Yep. Wyvern’s an alpha and flies really fast.”
“Wyvern?”
Lucian smiles, “Her aerodactyl.”
“Hm, that makes sense. I saw you flying around earlier…”
Sarah pulls a card out of her bag, one featuring a litten and a rockruff in Santa hats.
Dear Ninasha,
Merry Christmas! Or happy holidays!
I hope you like what I got you! I wasn’t sure which band you liked, but I got this poster of my good friend Piers! He signed it and everything! It might be weird if you’re not a human, because he’s a human, but that should be fine, right?
Hope you like both things!
Love, Sarah
She places the card on the lights and speedily wraps and ties a ribbon around them. She makes sure to also tie a ribbon around the poster and add a tag.
Soon, the portal shimmers into existence above her, and she tosses both things in.
Sarah returns back outside, returning to her previous position. It’s almost like she never left at all.

Safe House (Bucky Barnes x Fem!OC)
Tumblr media
Hi, this is a random story I have been writing recently. I don't know if anyone will read it. Let me know if it sounds interesting! But if not it's ok, I will just delete this post. And we can all pretend I didn't put this here hehe.
This is based on the character Bucky Barnes, but does not follow any of the story lines from the shows.
Trigger warnings: Domestic violence, swearing.... I think that's all!
(also not tagging anyone cause idk if you guys will like it!)
“Alright here we are your new home!” Alice grins at me from the driver's seat.
“Wow! How amazing.” I say sarcastically, rolling my eyes.
“Oh come on, Lena, cheer up.” Alice chirps getting out of the car.
“Cheer up? Are you kidding Alice? How many times are we going to do this?” I huffed getting out of the car and slamming the door behind me.
“Listen we will catch him next time I promise and then you can go back to normal life.” Alice walks up to the front door unlocking it with the key.
“How many times am I going to hear that lie? What is so hard about catching him?” I walk into the new house, I look around glancing at the couches and television that is on the wall. Alice grabs my hand and turns me around to face her. With a sigh she holds my hand to console me.
“Look, we will catch him, I promise. I won’t let him hurt you again.” I nod, pulling out of her grip.
“I just want to be normal again. I’m sick of hiding. I want to go back to real life.” I slump onto one of the couches letting out a long sigh.
“You know you can’t go back until he is locked up, so you will just have to wait. This is a safe house he won’t be able to find you here, plus the government has this whole place locked down. No one can come in or out without us knowing.” Alice looks pleased at how safe she thinks I will be.
“Yeah well the houses I was staying at were also safe houses and look where it got me!” I moan thinking about the three other safe houses I was placed in.
“Right that's it I will have no more of this pity party. Come on get up,” She tugs me off the couch, “Lets see the rest of the house. I heard this one is more fancy than the last!” Alice says eagerly.
After Alice finishes showing me the rest of the house, which was nice. The house has two bedrooms, one bathroom, a lovely kitchen and the lounge with the T.V. Cozy enough. The delivery men dropped off my boxes from the last house whilst we were having our tour.
“Right so you know the drill. No leaving for a couple of weeks until we have everything sorted, no contacting anyone from the last neighborhood and just keeping a low profile!” Alice says while hugging me tight, “Call if you need anything ok?” I smile and nod hustling her out the door.
“Thanks Alice, have a good night!” I say as she walks to her car. I wave from the door as she drives off. Lock the door behind me and wander into the kitchen. If it wasn’t for my ex Henry, I wouldn't be in this mess.
Five years ago while I was in college I got into a relationship, Henry was so sweet to start he was always so caring and loving.
But then red flags started to pop up, he wouldn’t let me go to parties or dress how I wanted, he would always think I was cheating on him and demand to see my phone.
It was my first real relationship so these red flags I ignored I thought that this was how relationships were. I was naive and oblivious. My friends started to notice the red flags and point them out to me or make comments, I would defend him like any good girlfriend would do.
By the time I had finished my business major and left college. I had no friends.
After we had finished college we had moved in together and that's when it became horrible. I would come home from work and have him yell at me for petty things. He would get so mad he would punch holes in the walls and after a while he wasn’t just hitting the walls anymore.
I would go to work covered in bruises and come up with lame excuses as to how it happened. It became unbearable but I couldn’t escape. I had pushed all help away, I was stranded no one to turn to for shelter to hide away.
So one night I laced his dinner with sleeping pills and that night I packed up and left with two duffle bags filled with my clothes and what I held dearest and drove away. I have been on the run ever since.
If he ever finds me I am scared of what he will do. There have been some close calls with the last  couple of houses I was staying at, the first one he found me somehow and was seen stalking the house and I was moved immediately to the next house. The next one he broke in during the day luckily I was out getting things from the store and all the alarms went off, but he had left by the time the police showed up. Now I am here in a new town, a new house but still the same since I left him, petrified.
