a little morning pick-me-up
-
A morning on the way to Baldur's Gate. The party booked themselves into an inn and enjoyed real beds, hot baths, and privacy for the first time since the Nautiloid.
Gale and Mayhew shared a room, of course. They were filled with the relief of surviving the shadows and the glow of finally getting together, so their private room was probably a blessing for the whole party, honestly.

with all this ivan content out I'm still left wondering how TILL views ivan and their relationship. he's known ivan for so long, does he see through his facade or does he just believe that ivan's changed a lot from the blank, stoic kid he was before? does he know about ivan's feelings? at least a little bit suspicious? does he know about the little things ivan does just to catch his attention or is he completely unaware? does he view him as a friend? begrudging acquaintance? does he feel like something changed between them? does he feel annoyed at ivan for being the perfect pet while he's constantly being beat down for not conforming? are his feelings for ivan good in intent but bad in execution? does he hold a bit of malice towards him? is he guilty over the meteor incident? i need his side

i feel an unending need to defend hana kurusu because she’s just a 15 year old with past trauma and a crush. like YES I hope she’s able to do more than get tricked by sukuna because that would be a shame writing-wise, but there’s no reason for her to get so much hate by fans

Villain’s unrequited love for hero, except hero really doesn’t mind all the kidnapping and flirting. They both know hero doesn’t really feel the same way. Of course they wouldn’t. It would interfere with their work to mix personal feelings and work engagements, after all. Besides, hero and villain have reached an agreement that it would be unprofessional for them to have a relationship anyways, since they’re publicly enemies.
Villain is forced into an early retirement. Their “work” relationship fizzles out as a result.
Now, as Civilian - an identity hero may or may not already know - Villain figures they could try at least ONE more shot at winning Hero’s heart. This time, as… themselves?

Prompt 4
Geralt is the captain of a pirate ship, named "Kaer Morhen." Perhaps he's still a witcher, perhaps he's just a regular old human (with white hair and golden eyes? Lol) His brothers (and "cousins" from other witcher schools)
Now I can see this going two different ways, so choose a favorite (or make up your own, I am only the beginning, I hold no affront of being anything more)
Jaskier is a nobleman's son, aboard his family's ship, possibly on his way to be forced into a marriage to a woman he doesn't love. And either he falls overboard or he's shoved off as a murder attempt, but he's lost in the ocean.
Lambert (or someone else, but I love to imagine how Lambert would attempt to call this out to his captain who he doesn't take seriously 90% of the time, #brothers) calls that he spots a man bobbing in the sea, and they haul him up.
The majority of the crew sees sight of his jewels and finery and insists on holding him ransom. But when the prisoner wakes up and isn't afraid of death, Geralt looks into this a little more. Apparently their prisoner won't get a ransom because his entire family despise him and his want to run away and become a bard.
Funny. Most pirate ships have entertainers aboard to help the pirates deal with months of nothing but ocean. Perhaps they'll have use of this dumb twink after all.
OR, option number two
Jaskier is a nobleman's son, chained and starved for the crime of wanting to become a bard and not wanting to marry some prissy noblewoman.
He hears a lot of loud noises and screams and then a bunch of burly men in fur cloaks stomp down and start rifling through their supplies. One catches eye of him and immediately yells to the captain.
The captain is a very handsome man with silver locks and bright eyes, and the dreaded pirate captain is treating Jaskier with more kindness and gentleness than his family or their workers ever have.
The pirate hauls Jaskier up into his arms and carries him to their own ship, laying him down in his own bed, and looking over his injuries and sending one of his crewmembers to make hm a fine meal.
Jaskier begins telling the captain of his abusive life beforehand and mentions that all he's ever wanted is to spread music and love, and shockingly enough, this big scary (gorgeous) man doesn't even laugh at him for it.. Oh fuck he's falling in love-
♡!Optional addons!♡
• Geralt gayly teaching his bard how to swordfight!!!
• Perhaps Jaskier's family is crueler and has done more than beat him, perhaps they've stabbed him or something, and the very last thing he sees before he passes out from bloodloss is Geralt (Maybe he even thinks he's an angel! Lmfao)
• Geralt getting lovingly bullied by his brothers for taking care of his songbird so well
• Geralt's crew revenge-robbing or revenge-killing Jaskier's family if we do Option one for the story (attempted-murder route), since it's implied it happens in Option Two while they ransack the ship-
• Perhaps I'll do a sequel for this prompt one day for Mermaid Jaskier, I do LOVE mermaids, take this as a much smaller and much less detailed prompt for if you want that idea, too! Perhaps the Pankratz ship has a captured mer aboard, parched and dehydrated (I just mostly think it'd be funny if Geralt was checking his pulse and if he has any injuries while random other witches dump buckets of sea water on him-)

five x reader - looks
Even after running for his life several times, he had never felt his heart beat as fast as it did when she stepped out of the elevator. She looked at Sloane, continuing her duties as her maid of honor as she made one final adjustment to the bride’s dress. He looked at her.
Her eyes shone with a certain joy; one that was rare to see mere hours before the end of the world. Maybe it was the way her dress hung softly on her hips and shoulders, or the way her hair looked shiny and soft. Maybe it was how the light reflected off of her face, accentuating her beautifully done makeup.
Maybe it was just her.
When she stepped out, she walked to Five. Their hearts thumped so loud, they were silently hoping the other person couldn’t hear it.
“You look… great.”
“So do you, did you try something new with your hair?”
“Yeah, Klaus insisted on styling it. He said it made me look like a ‘sexy little grade school boy.’”
She chuckled at that. She took his arm and sat down next to him.
The ceremony was beautiful. He knew he should be paying more attention to his brother, but he kept sneaking glances at her. During the vows, the newlyweds were tearing up. She was too. He immediately noticed, and grabbed her hand to trace small, comforting shapes on the back of her hand. She put her other hand on top of his, turning her body into him. Resting her head on his shoulder, he was overjoyed.
He would never let her know that, though.
Well, at least when they were sober.
