IDIA’S FIRST RIDE

When the flightmare migration was passing through the outpost, Idia has initially planned to do nothing but stay inside work on his mechanics a bit more. Unfortunately for him, the Night Crow Hunters had decided to put a pin in that plan.

“H-HEY!! C-CALM DOWN DRAGON—! I DON’T WANT TO DIE TODAY!!!”

HTTYD TWST AU - IDIA done !

(technically this is a wip since i gave up rendering him over a new piece that im REALLY proud of also for this au man i love getting side tracked)

and like last time, have some more extra thoughts abt the au

Idia having a flightmare in this au was one of the more obvious pairings i could think of but less for personality reasons like a few of my matchups and more bc well. look at their colors. Ya can’t argue with the very distinct very similar color pallets.

Idia in this au is less of a techie guy and more of a mechanic bc well. Time periods. He’s a recluse who lives deep in one of the mountain’s caves on the outpost and does his best to stay away from dragons at all costs. Bc dragons to him are well. Absolutely fucking terrifying and he knows FULL WELL he could be very easily killed by them. Someone close to him has also shown him how truly ruthless and dangerous they can be…

So he keeps to himself. The other outpost founders (as they call themselves, otherwise known as housewardens) allow him the privacy but will occasionally poke and prod him to eat or see sunlight because it’s certainly not healthy for him to be cooped up in that cave all the time.

Even after getting his Flightmare, Idia still has trouble adjusting to being with Flameglare (name in pending) but it helps that Flightmares do not breathe fire.

He doubts he’ll ever truly join a reconnaissance team or a fight team, but as long as he holds the main supply of advanced technology, the others can’t really argue for it that much. And he’s very much a coward in battle.

Once a dragon hunter. Now, a respectable dragon rider on the outpost. Or… as respectable as Rook can be, at least. More of an oddball, even amongst his other dragon rider peers. He’s a rider with an innate fascination for all kinds of dragons, and spends much of his time studying them in depth.

HTTYD TWST AU - ROOK (pre-outpost) done !

This piece i actually finished awhile ago, just never got around to posting but im SUPER proud of it. It’s definitely not like the best photo in the world or anything but its one of my best and i think it’s gorgeous so :>

and now, second verse same as the first, more extra thoughts :

• Before becoming a rider, Rook Hunt was a dragon hunter. An incredibly skilled one at that because he did what many others tended not to do with dragons. He observed them. Watched them closely, learned their ins and outs and then used them to hunt. It’s a past he acknowledges was a part of him, but isn’t one he talks about often.

• But he’s always found dragons absolutely fascinating creatures, and has always respected them as admirable foe. He killed what was necessary, and spent the rest of his time merely watching them though of course it’s not much excuse. If it ever came down to it to protect the outpost and those he cared about, Rook knows he could kill one again, even if it would make the others at their home upset.

• The reason he renounced his ways was thanks to his now partner dragon: Bête des Arbres or merely Treecutter for those less inclined to use Rook’s nicknames. (Rook refers to each dragon calling them Bête de BLANK - which means beast of trees in Treecutter’s case - a similar way he calls the Housewardens or Outpost leaders Roi de ____. Beast for him is used much more endearingly but a few other outposts inhabitants have expressed minimal discomfort with him calling them such.)

• Treecutter had saved Rook from the brink of death when the hunter had encountered a rather nasty pack of speed stingers intent on turning the hunter into the hunted. He’d been injured semi severely during the chase. But in that very moment, when Treecutter had lowered their head for him, Rook vowed to renounce his hunting ways.

• After that, he soon met Leona! Who immediately disliked Rooks executrices and used the next easiest excuse (Vil, who’d joined their party a little after) and pawned the Ex-Hunter off on the runaway noble. Then Vil gave Rook a makeover and the rest is history!

• (And warning mild SPOILERS for ENG players but ^ is the reason Rook is in his first year attire in the photo and might be a little less recognizable,,, )

HTTYD TWST AU - TREY

Trey Clover, a viking who hails from a humble background and family of bakers. He’s never been fond of dragon killing, but is able to fight to protect those he cares about. Trey’s practically dragon-nip to any hungry creatures in the area.

okay so. i know i was supposed to be working on a bigger thing but i got a bit… side tracked (also its taking forever hdnfksk) my friend recently watched httyd 2 which inspired me to then watch rtte again which is what I was doing while drawing and I had the impulsive urge to draw a dragon but make it twst and so i did!

I’m not sure whether i’ll do more of this or expand on the lore bc rn its just a fun drawing exercise/brainrot thing but I do want to draw more for it so hopefully u’ll see more of that soon!

Here are a few afterthoughts abt this au if ur curious :

Trey nor Azul will have glasses in this AU (probably) unless I change the time period a bit since glasses aren’t a thing in HTTYD so Trey is mostly blind. I thought abt making him an archer (hence his style of glove and armor that idrk is accurate or note) but due to his… ahem nearsightedness, that idea will probably have to be scrapped since bitch can’t see. So he’s mostly just.. cooking food for the ppl and dragons or helping hold down the base.

The things he can cook are somewhat limited (bc again time period) but thanks to Kalim and the Al-Asim’s trading business being funders of the Raven Outpost, Trey gets to experience making new recipes for the first time!

I don’t think Trey’s final dragon partner will be a terrible terror but. small dragon. I wasn’t in the mood to draw something big lol. But… if i had to pick one.. hmm… I think Trey would have.. maybe like a windstriker? I’m not too certain on that but I think it’d work. If I ever expand on this i’ll think more in depth abt specific dragons for them all

but the island’s terrible terrors absolutely love him lol they feed off his cooking scraps

One of his other main jobs on the edge though, aside from cooking and baking, is gardening! That’s moreso for habit though, since their watering system is quick thanks to the help of some various dragons on the island. Aside from those like Jade and Rook, Trey’s one of the most trustworthy on the scale of “He picked up this random leaf and told you it was okay to eat.”

Dragons in Twisted Wonderland (Heartslabyul)

(Long Post) Pt.1

Heartslabyul, Savanaclaw, Octivinelle, Scarabia, Pomefiore, Ighnyhide, Diasomnia.

After turning in the stone, and saving Ace and Deuce’s student career. Y/n was surprised when Crowley said that they could join the student body, as a beast Tamer. He even made Ramshackle their official dorm and place to house their dragon. With that Ace and Deuce returned to their own dorm, while Grim, SkyCrest, and Y/n returned to Ramshackle. As Grim happily ran inside, Y/n stopped as they felt a pair of eyes on them, SkyCrest could sense it too. Y/n and SkyCrest looked at a nearby tree, to see the Skycutter from the mines. It hung upside down as it watched them, it slowly crawled down and sat before Y/n and SkyCrest.

"Hello again," Y/n greeted with a smile, the Skycutter tilting her head in curiosity. "Looking for shelter too?"

The Skycutter nodded, its pupils wide and curious. SkyCrest smiled as she hopped around the Skycutter happily. The SkyCutter being a proud dragon, merely watched in confusion as her head followed the light furry. Y/n smiled as they checked the SkyCutter's wing one last time, before heading to bed.

Y/n had a strange dream of a girl and strange card soldiers who were painted white roses red. Sadly the dream was interrupted by horrified screams outside.

Y/n quickly leaped out of bed and looked out the window, to see Ace had met the Skycutter. They made their way downstairs and outside to help and save Ace.

After getting Ace to calm down, the Dragons simply sat and watched Ace with curiosity.

"What are you doing here Ace?" Y/n asked the scared boy.

" Geez! I’m never returning to Heartslabyul. I’m gonna be a member of this dorm from here on! But I wasn't expecting another dragon this dorm, I thought you only had one," Ace said.

"That collar’s the same kind as the one that red-haired guy's, Why are you wearing it?" Y/n asked

"I ate a tart, that's literally it," Ace scoffed as he retold the story of how this happened. "ain’t it overreacting to seal my magic just ’cause I ate his tart?! It’s practically the same as tying my hands and my feet! Plus, there were three whole ones! He can’t possibly finish all of those!"

"But nobody likes getting robbed of their things," Y/n pointed out. As they rested on the porch.

" I came here thinking that you’d agree with me about the Prefect being a little tyrant, Y/n," He groaned.

"Eating someone else’s food is not good, you know?" Y/n said simply as they tossed SkyCrest a fish. "Go apologize to him. Grudges over food are scary."

Y/n says as they side-eye SkyCrest, who gives a slight glare in return as she playfully wacks Y/n's head with her tail.

"You two are close, huh?" Ace comments.

"She's my best friend," Y/n smiles as she scratches SkyCrests chin.

"That's pretty cool I guess, so what did you have to do to Tame a dragon?" Ace asked, causing SkyCrest to scoff. Causing the boy to flinch and back away.

"I did not tame her, she chose to by my friend of her own choosing," Y/n corrected. "Dragons are very strong and intelligent beings. And need to be respected."

"I...Get it, I think," Ace said, still having many questions. "And how do you do that, and get them to like you?"

Y/n looks to Ace, then Skycutter as she slowly grabbed his hand and raised it up into the air. The SkyCutter slowly started to approach.

"H-hey Y/n! What are you doing?" He asked starting to get finicky as the large dragon approached.

"Just breathe and Relax, SkyCutter dragons are very smart," Y/n said in a calm voice.

The SkyCutter got closer, and Ace quickly shut his eyes and expected the worse. The SkyCutter slowly studied the scared boy as his fingers trembled in Y/n's strong and warm hold. The SkyCutter slowly and gently leaned her face into Ace's palm. Ace gasped slightly as he slowly opened his eyes to see how gentle the beast was. The Dragon slowly moved back and went off to sleep someplace.

"So you're staying here till you apologize to Riddle?" Y/n asked a still-shocked Ace.

Who quickly passes out. Y/n and SkyCrest looked down at him and sighed as they carried him into Ramshackle. Dropping him on the dusty couch.

Deuce had a better time coming to Ramshackle in the morning as the SkyCutter went out hunting for breakfast. So Ace, Deuce, Y/n, SkyCrest, and Grim made their first steps into the school as official students.

Grimm was proud and bragging about how all the students were looking in awe of him. When Really they were looking at the large 22-foot-long pearly Dragon standing by Y/n's side. Y/n decided to not burst Grimms hopes, so kept quiet. While SkyCrest smiled proudly and walked with a confident stride.

As they made their way into the magic mirror to Heartslabyul. Y/n, Grimm, and SkyCrest looked at this new place in awe. At the impressive palace-looking dorm, the fields of rose bushes and weirdly shaped bush hedges. Yet the light fury couldn't ignore the strange smell around the strange red roses.

"Oh, no. I gotta hurry and paint these roses red. If there are some left unpainted, it’s off with my head," said a worried voice.

The group looked into the rose maze to see an orange hair student, rushing about and painting all the white roses, red. This felt oddly strange and familiar to Y/n as they thought back to the dream. However soon the strange Orange haired boy noticed the first years watching him.

"Hm? Did you guys need something?" The boy asked.

"What’re you doin’?" Grimm asked

" This? As you can see, I’m painting the roses red," The boy said.

"Why would you do that? Why not just grow red flowers in the first place?" Y/n asked with a confused raised brow.

"Hm~ Your reactions are so fresh it’s kinda cute~!" The boy complimented Y/n. " Now that I look at you closely, you guys are the freshies who totally wrecked the 10mil chandelier and caused a ruckus yesterday."

"I feel like they won’t let that chandelier thing go until we graduate…" Ace sighed.

" Oh, I’m Cater Diamond, a 3rd year. That makes me your senior~ Call me Cater-kun, okay? Cate’s fine, too~♡ Heya, heya~," Cater smiles and gives Y/n a little wink. Y/n just rolls their eyes at his flirting.

"Is that a dragon, I've never seen one that looks like that. It's so pretty. Hey, hey~! Let’s take a pic together! Yay~! Hey, can I upload this? I wanna put hashtags so tell me your name,'' Cater bombarded them with questions and chatter.

"I’m Grim and that’s my follower Y/n," Grimm smirked but was whacked off his feet by SkyCrest.

"What a strange guy," Y/n comments.

"You’re the new prefect for Ramshackle Dorm! I’m surprised you can live in a place like that~! It’s so dark, and I feel like something’s gonna pop out~ I feel for ya, man~," Cater smiled.

"Rude," Y/n glares slightly and walked off. Cater was still smiling as Y/n walked away from him.

After Cater managed to trick the first years into painting the roses. He asked Ace about a replacement tart. This came as a surprise to all of them as Ace nervesly said no.

" Oh, man~ Izzat so? Then, since Rule #53 of the Queen of Hearts states that “You have to replace things that you stole.” I can’t let you back in the dorm," Cater smirked as he readied his pen.

"Huh?! What the heck?!" Ace gasped, as Deuce readied his pen.

" You have to follow the rules if you’re staying in this dorm. If I let it slide, then it’s off with my head, too~. Sorry, but I’ll have you leave before Riddle-kun notices.

He suddenly multiplied as known dozens of copies of himself and tried to shove the first years out of the dorm. No matter how many clones Grimm and Deuce manage to take down, more just appear. Y/n quickly took out a pouch of zippleback gas, and tossed it into the crowd of clones. As SkyCrest shot it dead on. The explosion erased all of the clones and sent the real one flying across the ground. Mostly unharmed if a bit frazzled as SkyCrest growled down at the orange-haired boy.

"We don't need your help leaving, Thank you very much," Y/n said as they stepped over him. SkyCrest quickly followed as the boys did too.

Deuce covered his face and apologized as he walked around Cater, while Grimm and Ace with a smirk happily stepped over Cater. Said the boy was still trembling slightly.

The school day was slow, and Y/n was bored out of her mind. They hated sitting still for hours on end with nothing to do. Nothing exciting happens here, nothing to do. P.E. was fine, it was at least doing something, even if it was just running in circles. Thankfully lunchtime came quickly, and taking care of the older hot-headed bullies was no problem. They quickly got cold feet when they noticed a dragon was ready to throw down on them.

"Whatever. Hide behind your dragon like cowards," The bully spat as he left with his buddies.

" Heh! All bark and no bite! Serves them right!" Grimm laughed.

"That was quite the predicament. To think that there would be such brutes in a prestigious magic school," Deuce sighed as they all sat down at a table to eat. Y/n and Deuce sat across from Ace, Grimm, and SkyCrest.

" Alright, let’s get back to business! I’m digging in~! Oh! This is so good! H-Hey!" Grimm gasped as SkyCrest started to sniff his tray of food. "Back Off This Is Mine!"

SkyCrest continued to put her snout closer to Grim's food as he desperately tried to keep it away from her.

"The omelet is so fluffy, and the cheese is so melty," Ace commented as he didn't help out grim.

"Minion! Do Something!" Grim shouted as he used his feet to keep SkyCrest's mouth away from his food.

Y/n sighed as they picked up a sandwich and handed SkyCrest their tray of food to the Dragon. SkyCrest happily inhaled the food, her eyes lighting up at the flavors in her mouth. Y/n was left with only half a sandwich.

"By the by, we saw your dorm a while ago, but what do the other dorms look like?" Y/n asked, trying to find something else to focus on. Other than their taken lunch.

"You’ve seen the statues of the Great Seven by Main Street, right? This school has seven dorms based on them," Cater said as he suddenly appeared and sat beside Y/n.

"Ugh! It's you," Y/n sighed as they shuffled a bit away from him. SkyCrest Growled at Cater.

"H-Hey, She's still not mad right?" Cater asked as he tried to hide behind Y/n.

"If you give her your food she may let you sit with us," Y/n said simply

"What?" Cater whined.

"Oops, my bad. My name’s Trey, Trey Clover. I’m a Heartslabyul 3rd year alongside Cater," Trey says as he moves Cater to his other side, away from Y/n and the dragon. "You’re from the Ramshackle. The new student who’s currently residing in the unused dorm, correct? I heard all about it from Cater. Sorry for the trouble our dormmates caused you yesterday."

Do you think malleus would be insult over the fact that y/n world has dragon riders? Like on one hand it's great that in one world humans and dragons lived in peace together but on the other hand it rubs him the wrong way that in that world humans are the so called masters of dragons (at least in his eyes).

This is a tough one. Cause yes on the one hand he may not like the Idea of humans putting saddles on dragons, however, the dragons of the Httyd world are so strange and different. Malleus kind of thinks they're not as smart as him or the dragons of Twisted Wonderland. But on the other hand, he can clearly see the good and close bond between Y/n and Skycrest. Seeing the good relationship humans and dragons can have. And He kind of envies that, wants to be close to someone like that. People other than his guards and guardian Lilia.

So he may or may not be a bit jealous of SkyCrest being so close with his favorite Human.

Imagine Malleus and Y/n having a nice little conversation outside Ramshackle. When SkyCrest suddenly sows up using her cuteness to demand attention from her Rider. While Y/n is paying attention to SkyCrest, she gives Malleus the smuggest "Mr.steal your girl" smirk.

Dragons in Twisted Wonderland

Part 2 Here

Y/n sighed in annoyance as Sky crest did the same. They were still pissed off for getting in trouble for something that wasn’t there fault. Grimm and Ace set the Queen of hearts statues on fire, and Mr.Crowley got up set at Ace and Sky Crest. Thinking it was she who set it on fire, when Grimm escaped the crime scene.

Crowley threatened to expel Them, when Y/n stepped forward.

“How about a challenge a task, to prove we deserve to be here,” Y/n spoke up to him.

“Huh?” Crowley asked out of surprise.

“It was an honest mistake, and one of them didn’t even do anything. So give us a challenge to prove our worth and make amends,” Y/n demanded as Deuce nodded.

Even though. Crowley was the principal and a person in charge. He couldn’t help but feel a bit intimidated by Y/n’s strong and determined Attitude.

So Crowley gave them a task. To go to the dwarf mine, and bring back a magic crystal before the morning of tomorrow. And he warns that mines have their own set of dangers, and magic crystals are difficult to find.

"Alright. Ace, Deuce we have some searching ahead of us," Y/n said and pulled out a map. Asking where these mines are.

Once Crowley circled the map, Y/n immediately climbed onto Sky Crest's back and took to the sky. Leaving Ace and Duece to walk and teleport via a mirror to follow.

"Ugh, I can't believe they left us behind like that. They better not have collected all the crystals," Ace pouted.

"I wonder what it's like to fly on a Dragon," Deuce said as he looked at the sky.

"Juice focus," Ace groaned.

"Deuce! It's Deuce," The blue-haired boy scolded.

"Yeah, whatever," Ace scoffed as the two found a small house ahead.

And waiting for them up ahead was Y/n and SkyCrest. They looked annoyed for waiting for them.

"Don't give us that look, you could have given us a lift," Ace said.

"Well, I thought with your "Magic" you would be here faster," Y/n said.

"Well there... Shut up," Ace said. "And What's that cat doing here?!"

"I'm not a Cat! And I'm here to prove that I belong to the school too!" He shouted.

"We couldn't get him to leave," Y/n sighed. " Lead head out to the mines."

"Don't tell me what to do!" Ace and Grim spat as they ran ahead.

Y/n and Skycrest just rolled their eyes and followed, and surprisingly made conversation with Deuce. He had many questions, like how Y/n tamed the dragon. Or what kind of magic contract does Y/n have over the dragon.

They would explain, she didn't tame SkyCrest but earned her trust and respect. And their bond was their understanding of each other.

"So you just asked her to be your friend one day?" Deuce asked.

"Well more like I interested her, and she followed me around for a week," Y/n smiled, Skycrest scoffed and raised her head.

Trying to pretend like that didn't happen, only for her to walk into a tree. Deuce and Y/n chuckled but stopped when SkyCrest glared at them. Then knocked them off their feet with her tail.

"Ow, embarrassed?" Y/n asked with a smirk.

"Attitude much," Deuce groaned.

The group soon made it to the mind, but everyone was stopped in their tracks by a terrifying noise from the mouth of the mines. To the twisted wonderlandian denizens it was probably some sort of monster. To Y/n however, it sounded like a wounded dragon. Y/n and SkyCrest slowly approached the mouth of the cave. The two peeked inside to see a Cloudcutter dragon!

Ace readied his magic pen. "Ace put that away, you'll aggravate it," Y/n scolded. "Cloudcutters are social if shown respect, they are very smart dragons."

"Why should I believe you, for all I know you could be making this up," Ace argued.

"Then just stay out here if you are so scared," Y/n scoffed as they slowly enter the mines.

The boys watched with wide eyes as they backed away from the mouth of the cave. Y/n slowly and carefully approached the cloudcutter. It seems that one of its wings was injured, the wound was covered in a strange black substance.

The Cloudcutter’s head quickly rotated 90 degrees to spot Y/n as it growled. Y/n slowly lowered themselves, making themselves look small and harmless. Y/n looked up at the dragon with a calm smile, as the dragon calmed. It looked curiously at Y/n and SkyCrest.

Y/n slowly approached the dragon as they gently looked over the injury. The black substance was strange, and just getting on the skin. It felt so… Dark and wrong.

Y/n quickly wiped the black stuff off their hand and the dragon’s wing. Working quickly, they started to apply a healing ointment on the wing. The Cloudcutter dragon slowly stood, looking at its wing at the human and the light fury.

It started to vocalize, trying to inform them about something. Only SkyCrest could understand, and with that Cloudcutter Dragon quickly left the cave, taking to the sky. Ace, Deuce, and Grimm looked on in shock as the large dragon rushed past them.

They look into the cave to see if Y/n and SkyCrest are okay and well.

"Told you, everything is fine. I'd protect you otherwise," Y/n said with a hand on a hip.

"Yeah right," Grimm scoffed. "You have no magic to beat a dragon."

SkyCrest whacked the cat's head with her tail. So the group walked deeper into the cave, till Ace pointed out a small glowing stone a few feet away. But before they could grab it, a strange ink monster stood in their way.

SkyCrest Growled as the students and Grimm Screamed in fear as the monster charged. SkyCrest blasted the monster back as she quickly tried to get them out of the cave.

"Stooonesss... Stooonesss aaare miiiiine!" The monster growled.

"We need to book it, and fast! That thing's gonna pound us into tuna paste!" Grimm shouted.

"Let's just give up and go home. I'll happily take the expulsion if it means never having to fight that thing again," Ace sighed as he sat from all the running.

"What?! Nuh-uh, not happenin'! I'd rather die than get expelled from Night Raven! How can you give up when the stone is right there?" Duece shouted.

"Cause he is scared and weak-willed," Y/n spoke up.

"Pfft. Big talk from someone who's not even a mage like I am. You want that stone so bad, go get it yourself. I'm out," Ace said as he attempted to shove Y/n, but they were like a brick wall.

"Can't you just magic your way out of the problem?" Y/n asked as they easily shoved Ace over.

"The head mage said it himself... magic has limits. If you can't strongly visualize your magic, it isn't going to happen," Deuce explained.

Soon Deuce, Ace, and Grim started to argue when Y/n gave them a good wack to the head.

"Would you all shut up already!" They shouted. " I have a plan, and we're gonna work together whether you like it or not."

"Work together"... Is that some kinda joke? You always say the lamest things with the straightest face," Ace whined.

"And you have the lamest face," Y/n snapped back.

"No way could I work together with him," Deuce sighed, but gasped at Y/n's glare. "O-only this once."

So the plan was in action, as Y/n and SkyCrest lead the monster out of the cave as the boys tried to take down the monster. While they did that SkyCrest and Y/n mined the magic stone.

When they exited the cave they saw that the boys had finished off the monster, but for some reason, Riddle Roseheart was there.

Y/n and SkyCrest quickly hide behind the nearest tree to listen in, as Riddle collared them and shouted at them. Something about sneezing hedgehogs, rule 304, and singing.

"Cater, Trey take them to the dorm," Riddle Ordered.

"Hold up, we still need those two," Y/n said as they stepped forward.

"This has nothing to do with you," Riddle spat.

"Believe me I want nothing to do with you either," Y/n snapped back. "But I need them to come with me to the headmaster."

"If you don't want to be beheaded as well. You better return to the sc-" "Shut Up," Y/n cut him off.

Everyone stood in silence as they watched Y/n and Riddle enter a glaring competition between them. The two were practically only an inch or two apart from each other. When suddenly the monster acted up once again as it pulled itself together and quickly swung its pickaxe at Riddle and Y/n.

It happened so fast that he didn't know how to react as Y/n quickly shielded him. The monster swung its pick down. Y/n quickly used their arm guards to take the brunt of the blow from the pick handle. They were just strong enough to hold back the weapon. SkyCrest Quickly jumped onto the monster and started to rip and tear away at the monster.

Y/n quickly tossed one of their Zippleback gas bombs into the ink monster's head. And at point blank SkyCrest set it off, causing the monster to explode with great force as its ink was scattered across the field.

Y/n looked down at Riddle, making sure he was alright. He was shaken, but alright as he slowly stood. And with that, she got on SkyCrest and got Deuce and Ace to the Headmaster.

Dragons in Twisted Wonderland

Pt.1 Here

When Y/n opened their eyes they found themselves in darkness. Slowly reaching her hands felt something, it was soft. Yet when they tried to push it was study, but it jiggled, meaning this was a door of sorts.

Y/n at first tried to firmly push on the door but after a while, they began to kick. With a bunch of powerful kicks, the door finally slammed open. Causing them to fall out of the floating Coffin, with their bow and arrows behind them. When they slowly stood, they saw they were in a room with hooded figures. All staring and whispering to each other.

"Honestly, what is the hurry. Coming out of the gate on your own is unheard of," said a man in a crow mask.

"W-who Are You!" Y/n gasped as they grabbed their bow.

"Please calm yourself. Believe me, I'm not a suspicious character," The masked man said.

"Sorry, but I find that hard to believe," Y/n said with a glare. "Where the Heck am I. What in Odin's beard is happening?!"

"You were chosen," The man said simply. "It seems you're not entirely lucid yet."

The man would go on to explain that Y/n was chosen to attend Night Raven Colledge, a magic school. How the mirror of darkness told the black carriage to bring them here, for their magical prowess.

"That makes no sense. I don't have magic," Y/n said as they slowly reached for their arrows. "Send me back, Send Me Back Home!"

"Wh-Wait just a moment! Someone refusing to enroll is unheard of!" The masked man gasped.

Suddenly there was a crash of glass as a black cat with a pitchfork tail, and flaming blue ears appeared. He began to speak and claim he was the best wizard, Grimm. When everyone laughed at his words, Grimm decided to show off his magic, blue fire. And proceeded to spread fire in the mirror chamber.

One of the hooded figures stood up and headed towards the fire. Grimm noticed and blasted a wave of fire at the boy, but Y/n quickly pushed him out of the way. As the fire got closer another sound of broken glass was heard, as a large figure shielded them from the fire.

Y/n looked up with a smile as Sky Crest blocked the flames with her great wings. Sky Crest moved her wings and rose to a proud poster and roared loudly. Everyone stood in awe, shock, and fear as the roar vibrated through the air, and shook their organs.

Grimm was absolutely petrified at the large dragon standing in front of him. And he quickly ran out of the chamber in fear. Y/n was beyond happy to see their dragon friend again as the two friends hugged tightly.

"This is unspeakable! You have turned this ceremony into a circus!" Riddle shouted in anger.

"Sorry, but I don't think it's my fault. And I'm not the idiot who was about to walk into the fire," Y/n commented.

"How Dare You! I Shall Have Your Head!" Riddle shouted.

Sky Crest Roared at Riddle as she raised her back and slowly approached. The power of the dragon's roar knocked Riddle onto his bum. Sky crest opened her jaw as she readied her fire blast, all the while stepping closer to the trembling Riddle. Everyone watched in horror as the dragon was about to deliver a devastating blow. When Y/n quickly got between the Sky and Riddle and began to give their dragon friend a good chin scratch. Everyone backed away from the large dragon as the dragon calmed down and leaned into Y/n's scratches.

"You really scared her. Don't say things like that to people," Y/n scolded the red-haired boy.

"I-I scared her?! She was going to kill me-" "And you threatened to decapitate me!" Y/n cut him off.

"I wasn't going to- Not Literally!" Riddle shouted, his face turning red.

"Then maybe you should think before shouting random phrases," Y/n glared back.

"That's just the name of My Spell," Riddle growled.

"Well that's a very stupid name for a spell," Y/n snapped back, causing Riddle to growl back at them.

"How dare you insult a dorm leader. I'll Have you know That I am the Law, and I do not tolerate rule breakers!" Riddle growled

"Oh, you're the rules, huh. Sounds like you're compensating for something. Maybe the fact you need heels just to be my height," Y/n smirked, seeing as this really annoyed Riddle.

Before Riddle could even shout something, Sky crest lightly smacked him off his feet with her tail.

The mirror soon spoke up and said that Y/n had no magic. Everyone was shocked, how could a magicless human tame such a dangerous being like a dragon? Crowley eventually escorted Y/n and the dragon out.

And sadly with no way to send them home and the dragon home, Crowley simply swept them to Ramshackle. And Crowley could only wonder what happened to the gate they came out of, for when he went back to inspect it. It mysteriously disappeared.

(Meanwhile back at Ramshackle, the next day)

As Y/n gathered as many cushions and blankets to keep Sky Crest warm. Since there are no boulders around, and this whole house is made of wood. And as much as Y/n is thankful for Crowley not just tossing them to the streets.

Crowley was fast to make them a janitor to earn their keep. Not a problem Y/n would think to themselves, the cleaned-after dragons, and around the blacksmith shop plenty of times.

"Yes, and feel free to use all these cleaning supplies to help," Crowley said as he offered a bunch of cleaning chemicals.

But Y/n stared at the strange concoctions in strange clear bottles. Crowley quickly remembered that Y/n literally came from 1010 AD, none of these things existed yet. So he tried to dumb it down a bit.

"See these colorful liquids? Don't put this in your mouth. Or any colorful and strange-smelling liquids. These bottles with bubble pictures on them. This is to clean with, don't drink it," He said as if he was talking to a 5-year-old.

"And keep your dragon in Ramshackle," Crowley said.

"What!? Why?" Y/n asked as Sky crest growled.

"This is a place of learning, and having a dragon would be a distraction. And we have... Some rowdy...Students and I don't want them to end up as dragon food," Crowley said slowly.

"So are you giving me persimmon to beat up said rowdy students in self-defense?" Y/n asked.

"No," Crowley said simply. "Just ignore them."

Sky Crest glared as the crow man left the door. Y/n sighed as they gathered all the weird cleaning liquids and headed out the door. However Sky crest wasn't going to sit this out, so using her invisibility trick she sneakily followed Y/n to the main entrance.

Sky Crest stealthily snuck around the school as she silently followed Y/n to the school entrance. As She hides behind the status of the stone people she watched as Two students approached Y/N. Curiosity took over as she stealthily sneaked up behind the boys. Them being none the wiser as Sky Crest looked over their shoulder like she was supposed to be there.

Y/n's eyes widened at the sight but stayed quiet as the two boys fail to notice a large dragon behind them. As Ace began to tease Y/n about the entrance Ceremony, a familiar grey cat appeared. Demanding Y/n leave so he could enroll, but Ace simply turned his teasings to the cat.

"I'll prove I deserve to be in this school, I can take this human no problem," Grim said as he pounced toward Y/n.

Y/n swiftly pulled their bow and gave a good whack on the head.

"Oww!" Grimm groaned. "Why did you do that?!"

"Cause this was a fight and I'm gonna just give you a victory," Y/n said simply.

"And only the chosen can go to this school. And you just didn't make the cut," Ace laughed.

"Hey, you should say stuff like that to people," Deuce said. "Man you've been nothing but a jerk the moment we got here."

"Yeah yeah. I don't need your lectures, I have classes to get to," Ace said as he turned to leave.

When he bumped into something sturdy and scally. When he finally looked up, he saw a very annoyed light fury glaring down at him.

Dragons in Twisted Wonderland

Part 1

(Heads up, the HTTYD timeline is a bit altered. So Dragons leave humans sometime later after Hiccup and Astrid, and when village moves to their new home. Some of the Hidden world Dragons hang around from a distance on the island)

The new Isle of Berk, after the defeat of Grimmel. The Berkians cheered as the Dragons were know safe. Chief Hiccup served as an amazing chief as the camp eventually turned into a town. But the story isn’t about Hiccup, but a new Berkian. Y/n, she is an odd sort. While other Vikings were bold and fearless axe, sword wielding combatants, Y/n preferred to fight from the distance. Thus became the best marksman in all of Berk.

And while many other young Vikings their age was already paired with a dragon of their own. Y/n while friendly to all dragons, never had that connections most dragon riders had with their dragon. So they could only ever watch the dragon games.

But Hiccup noticed Y/n’s small talents in the blacksmith arts, and decided to take them under his wing. He was greatly impressed when Y/n took his fire blade concept and made something for their marksmanship. A self lighting flaming arrow, and a small throwable pouch of zipplback gas.

And Y/n would prove themselves well with these weapons in combat. When dragon hunters tried to invade, Y/n’s skill proved useful as they would attack from the shadows and out of sight.

One day as Y/n watched the Dragon Riders zoom across the sky in the Dragon game, Hiccup noticed that they sat alone.

“I think the games would be more fun if you were with friends,” Hiccup said as he sat down next to his apprentices.

“All my friends are currently playing in the games,” Y/n sighed as they sharpened their arrows.

“Have you not found a dragon companion?” Hiccup asked, as Toothless quickly joined him.

“Well. Dragons are really amazing creatures. Though, none of the dragons here, connect with me. I must be the lamest person in Berk who still doesn’t have a dragon of their own,” Y/n sighed sadly as they gave Toothless an affectionate scratch on the chin.

“That’s not true,” Hiccup chuckled as he remembered his father. “ It took a long time for my father to find a dragon that suited him. And he even had one dragon for a time, still he found Skull Crusher.”

“You will find dragon that will connects with you in time,” Hiccup patted Y/n’s shoulder. When Toothless gave Y/n happy lick on the face.

“I hope that is soon,” Y/n smiled as they tried to wipe off the dragon drool, when the Alarm bells went off. An intruder!

Toothless growled as Hiccup quickly hopped onto his friends back. Y/n quickly readied their arrows and turned to search for the trappers.

“Y/n,” chief Hiccup called, causing Y/n to stop and turn to their mentor and chief. “Be careful, alright.”

Toothless made a chuffed sound in agreement. Y/n nodded confidently as Toothless and Hiccup took to the Air. Y/n quickly searched the forest as stealthily as possible. When they heard something!

A bunch of hunters had cornered a light fury mother and her daughter. The daughter seemed injured, while the mother was tangled in a coarse net. The rope cutting into her skin. Y/n glared from her vantage point. The young Viking grabbed their small pouch of Zippleback gas and tossed it over the hunters. Swiftly Y/n pulled out and notched their arrows as the arrowhead suddenly lit in flames. Just as the pouch was about 3 feet above the hunters, Y/n shot their arrow and the flaming arrow hit the pouch. Causing a powerful explosion, sending the hunters flying.

Y/n quickly slide down the tree and slowly squatted down, and slowly approach. Trying to appear as small and unthreatening as possible. The mother light fury growled at the approaching human. Y/n kept their eyes mostly on the ground as they slowly inched closer. The light fury sensing no hostility relaxed a bit, allowing humans to approach. Y/n quickly placed some ointment on the younger night fury's wound and quickly freed the mother.

The mother quickly got up with a limp and called for her daughter to follow. Yet the Younger Light Fury stayed and studied the strange human. Y/n remained still and kept their eyes on the ground, as the younger dragon sniffed them. The mother dragon called again and the daughter slowly followed.

From that day on the young Light Fury followed Y/n from the shadow. Though Y/n was very aware of a large dragon trying to hide in the bushes to watch them. She watched them as they worked in the smith, did their daily chores, and tend to the other dragons.

One day as Y/n watched the dragon Games, the light fury slowly and carefully sat down next to the Human. Y/n chuckled and handed the Light fury a fish, which was happily excepted.

"You've been hanging around a lot, following me in the shadows," Y/n smirked.

The light fury raised her head, pretending to not know what Y/n was talking about.

"Well, how should I address you, Light Fury?" Y/n asked. The light fury opened one eye to peek down at Y/n, showing interest in the idea.

"How about... Blare?" Y/n asked, the light fury shook her head and turned her head away from Y/n. After some time and lists of names, they finally settle on one. "Alright, what about... Sky Crest."
