Shuichi has the world's loudest neighbors ever- just about every other night it's strange and loud noise at fuck off in the am with them, they sound like a chaotic frat group and Shuichi doesn't know what to do about it. one day he mentions to Kaito how his neighbors keep him awake in the few hours he gets to sleep due to his job, and Kaito decides to confront his neighbors for him cause Shuichi sure as hell ain't.

Shuichi follows him so nothing gets out of hand, and to his utter dismay the guy who answered the door- and later he discovers is the soul resident of the house who just lets his friends stay over alot- is the cutest fucker he's ever seen in his life.

despite Kaito and who he now knows as Kokichi getting into an argument near instantaniously during the confrontation- he thankfully hears much quiter chaos coming from the house, but along with it he also frequently ends up with Kokichi on his doorstep offering him extra food he made

supposedly it's just cause he made too much for his friends, but with how often it happens Shuichi suspects it's his way of compensating for the distrubance..... and with how good the food is (and how cute Kokichi's smile is) he thinks it might be working

it's such a simple concept, but a wholesome one. sometimes Kokichi just doesn't wanna put energy into bleaching his tips so his purple dye will show up, so he asks Shuichi to do it for him instead. Shuichi gladly accepts cause he loves spending time with Kokichi, and being close to him even more

and sometimes Shuichi's just a bit too touch starved and wants Kokichi to play with his hair but doesn't know how to ask without getting teased so he has him help him retouch his roots.
