i took the switcheroo week as an excuse to finally try my hand at some scrybeswap designs! got a bit carried away as you can see, i love doing character design so much

decided to keep their species/major design elements fairly consistent (e.g. grimora's makeup, mag being vague and indistinct, leshy having nonhuman legs, p03 only having one arm) while still switching up their aesthetics as needed; super happy with all of these as a result!

design notes for each scrybe under the cut! def open to any further questions or curiosities, i always think way too hard about characters while designing them lmao

P03:

scrybe of the dead: i went for a possessed tv vibe; he's still mechanical but those bones do have a living soul trapped in them...also shoutout to @squid-hug for suggesting the x-ray machine, i was very tickled by that lmao

scrybe of beasts: overgrown old bot was kind of a given for this one, but i was also thinking that the plants are part of what's keeping him running somehow

scrybe of magicks: the magic eye is the core powering that top monitor, and the two side monitors display what he's seeing with that eye at any given time

grimora:

scrybe of beasts: she's a witch! like a chill terry pratchett kind of witch, she works with a lot of herbs and such; also her makeup is meant to mimic blood drops

scrybe of magicks: magick grimora is more of a warlock type, her magic is a lot more sinister and she almost never opens her eyes (whereas her third eye is basically always open)

scrybe of tech: tech grimora is kind of a wacky machinist-flavored dr. frankenstein; she inscribes by writing on circuitboards!

leshy:

scrybe of the dead: this leshy is a gargoyle/vampire hybrid! i thought a mirror would be fun for him bc you can get two different cultural refs; medusa (bc stone gargoyle), and the idea that vampires don't appear in mirrors!

scrybe of magicks: i decided to make him a bird guy (kinda harpy-esque) bc he's basically a more whimsical baba yaga hermit; the baba yaga thing carries over from slavic folklore obvs. also he has polycoria!

scrybe of tech: tech leshy was super fun, bc he's steampunk! rather than animal legs i gave him digitigrade robot legs, but other than that he's the most like, normal human guy here probably lmao; despite his well-adjusted appearance though i still think he's got a bit of freaky wonk in him

magnificus:

scrybe of the dead: this one was very ring-inspired lol, got those clump of hair you found in the shower drain vibes

scrybe of beasts: bush magnificus real! i think he'd be a bit more quirky trickster fae in this form

scrybe of tech: one of my favorites; tech mag is an emaciated cyborg draped in so many loose cords and wires that you can't tell what he looks like anymore. a lot of those cords are connected to him, and he plugs them in wherever as needed! he also has a drawing stylus, making him just an average art student tbh lmao

Can you do a yandere Hades or Loki(ROR) x fem kokushibo reader plz. I have this weird feeling that Hades would know everything about her since she was a human, and the human part of her technically died. Loki would be interested in us cause he finds us interesting to watch.

Here it is! I'd like to thank @thatstrangesheep and @the-dumber-scaramouche for helping me flesh out Loki's character since he's a tricky little fella to write about lol. Got a lot of requests for him, but here he is!

I hope you will enjoy this piece, although it is a little short! :)

Loki did not have a high opinion of humans. Why did they deserve to live for another thousand years when all of these pitiful creatures have done nothing but caused destruction in Midgard? Like Aphrodite had said before, everything has become ugly. It’s much better to start over with a clean slate, right~?

Still, it wouldn’t hurt to have a little fun with them in this battle royale, this ‘Rangarok’, that Brunhilde proposed to hold before setting the world on fire. So why is Zeus being a selfish asshole and letting the God of Deceit fight a low-level demon instead of a human?

Pouting childishly, he stepped out of the gods area in the coliseum as Heimdall went on a spiel about his infamy and how powerful he is in the Norse pantheon, basking in the cheerful roars and spiteful comments alike while the humans quivered in fear at their representative.

[First Name] [Last Name], Muzan Kibitisuji’s right-hand woman of the Twelve Kizuki, the former Moon Hashira.

Tall, sinewy frame draped in a [Favorite Color] kimono and black hakama with embroidered flowers. Wild, untamed hair tied up in a ponytail. Six eyes dyed in crimson sclera stared right at him, unblinking with a clawed hand rested on the hilt of their sword. Wooden full moon and grassy field hanafuda earrings swayed slightly in the breeze.

Loki scoffed. Yup. There is no doubt in his mind that this is the ugliest demon he had ever met in his life. Least she’ll be dead soon enough~.

He smiled. “Let’s try and have some fun, ‘kay?” He said, swaying from side to side, violet orbs fixated on his opponent…or at least trying to pretend that he’s a little interested in this filthy scum.

“…”

And of course, she doesn’t say anything except bow her head to him and unsheathe her sword. Boring~.

Summoning chained scythes from either of his arms, Loki broke into a sprint and charged at his opponent. Swinging the left scythe over his head, he flung it towards her, confident that the battle will not even last five minutes. But that bitch deflected his weapon with her sword, inhaling a deep breath through her mouth before launching several crescent-shaped blades towards him.

Loki cursed, leaping out of the way and using the remaining scythe to deflect the blades. If he yanked back the chain of the other scythe too quickly, he would’ve lost an arm.

So, she got lucky. It won’t happen again~.

The fight dragged on longer than he nor the other gods could have anticipated. Humanity’s representative effortlessly parried the blows of her opponent, releasing one breathing technique after another but narrowly having her head being sliced off by Loki’s scythes when he snuck up from behind. She repaid such kindness by jamming her sword into his right shoulder, twisting it in a full circle before pulling out the blade.

Breathless, bloodied, and pumped full of adrenaline, neither opponent was ready to surrender until Heimdall officially declared that the bout was a draw.

Loki was absolutely livid. How could he, a trickster god, not win against a demon with his clever mind and silver tongue? Gods were supposed to kill demons! Why, no, how can a demon be able to go toe-to-toe against someone like him?! It wasn’t fair!

Yet as he laid in the gods’ medical wing and allowed the nurses to patch him up, his mind kept drifting back to the silent swordswoman. For all the spiteful insults he hurled at her in battle, she retaliated in a calm, grim voice.

“Interesting…for a simpleton who does nothing but yap like a puppy, you’re still alive. Most of my opponents would have been obliterated by now.”

Loki grinded his teeth at the memory. He might have not defeated his opponent, but a draw is simply but another chance to pummel that demon into the ground.

He knew her fighting style, her weak points, everything. He will annihilate the Moon Hashira and prove to the Norse pantheon that he is much more than just a jokester. The humans will fall, the gods will win just like they always have.

So why did he feel….annoyed at the thought of the six-eyed demon vanishing from sight?

Wowowo I'm on a roll, anyway this time is reader who steals metal scraps from different realms (maps) and builds small statues or machines with it, and maybe gifts them to that person? Platonically to Amanda (building buddies (⁠･⁠ω⁠･⁠)⁠つ⁠⊂⁠(⁠･⁠ω⁠･⁠)) and romantically to Leon, Ghostface, Jake and Trickster

Leon S. Kennedy:

Leon is not much of a creator himself, so he really loves sitting and watching you work with your fresh haul from Autohaven. It's amazing to watch someone as talented as you work, honestly. Sometimes he’ll sit with you to make his flashbangs, if he has the materials himself, because he thinks it’s a sweet thing to do with you.

He's delighted every time he receives something from you, turning it all over in his hands and pressing buttons to see what happens. He always asks what it does, how long it took to make. He's so curious.

You two have fun using them as a distraction for killers, tossing them out away from both of you so it can make noise and draw their attention. You two have completed several generators and escaped this way (much to the killers' dismay).

He enjoys helping you organize your blueprints and parts, he knows it can be frustrating when everything's a mess, and he just likes to help you.

Jake Park:

Jake has a more professional appreciation for your creations, since living in the wild, he's had to make some of his own contraptions. Having that talent in the realm is almost a necessary one.

He loves learning more mechanical things from you, either by asking you about it or teaching himself by watching you work and by inspecting your machines. He enjoys teaching you more "practical" things, like tripwires and traps.

He adores receiving your creations as gifts. It makes him feel very special you're so willing to part with something that took so long to make to give it to him. He finds a use for everything.

He will frequently collect pieces of scrap he finds on his own when he's away from you, so he can give you something in return. He'd feel guilty if he didn't, plus, he just enjoys showing you that he loves you.

Amanda Young / The Pig:

Amanda loves having someone to work with again. She really misses the other Jigsaw Apprentices sometimes, and appreciates having another person who enjoys taking things that aren't theirs and using them to make something new.

She particularly loves sitting down in her workshop with you, both of you working on something different but still spending time together. She does get a little suspicious when you refuse to let her see what you're working on, but she understands wanting privacy.

She almost forgets about your refusal to show her until you come up to her with your hands behind your back a couple days later. She's suspicious.

…Until you present her with a small hand-made version of her reverse bear traps, that even functions, too. She's absolutely delighted, and hangs it on her hook immediately. She loves every little gift you give her.

Danny Johnson / The Ghostface:

Danny particularly loves seeing your blueprints and idea sketches. There's just something he loves about seeing others' journals and plans, it almost feels intimate.

He's always looming over your shoulder while you're either looking for parts or working. He doesn't mean to put pressure on you, he's just interested. He loves seeing someone in their element.

He always acts surprised when you give him your little creations as gifts, even though he literally watched you make it start to finish. He still appreciates them, and always asks when you'll make another for him.

Like Leon, he enjoys using them as a distraction for survivors so he can stalk them and get to them easier. He thinks it's pretty funny using them this way.

Ji-Woon Hak / The Trickster:

Another creator? Even if it's not in the same way, Ji-Woon is swooning. He loves being around his fellow creatives, he feels at home and seen by them.

He's always hovering around you asking about your projects: how they're going, if you need more supplies, if you need ideas. He has a lot of ideas. For…Contraptions. It's probably better that you tell him no thank you.

He always offers to paint them for you. Even though his forte is singing, he does enjoy a bit of painting. He always hopes you'll say yes.

When you let him keep it or give him a new one as a gift, he's utterly delighted. He can't contain his giggles. He keeps every single one, proudly displayed.

Would love to hear five fun facts about an AU where one of the other Two Rivers boys is the Dragon Reborn - Mat or Perrin, the choice is yours.

[Send me a potential AU and I'll answer with five things from that story!]

Going with Mat here-

Since I have such a hard time separating the idea of Rand from the idea of the Dragon, as both mythological figure and for LTT reasons, I'd probably approach this from the angle that Mat is the 'champion of the light' in this specific turning, i.e still the Gambler/Son of Battles archetype, but whose past life resulted in the Breaking of the World, and who must now redeem himself through defeating the Dark One in the present era, and re-sealing the Bore. I would keep the trickster fox symbolism, but mix in heavy elements of Loki (in particular the bits surrounding the death of Balder, and the murder of his sons Nari and Vali as punishment/use to bind him). I would also replaced Callandor (which is an OG exaclibur refrence) with Lævateinn, one of Loki's mythological weapons, an draw heavy parallels with both Gungir and the arrow crafted to slay Balder of mistletoe.

Mat struggles a lot more then Rand with certain aspects of being the savior, less so with others. He's far, far more resistant to accepting his fate especially in the begging, and the story would need to force him into a position where he had the illusion of choice. Rand could be compelled by duty and compassion to accept he is The Dragon- Mat would defiantly refuse just to spite fate.

I would keep the idea that Mat was born outside the Two Rivers, but not make him Aiel born. Instead I'd probably make him Seanchan born- instead of the Aiel War twenty years ago, it was the First Seanchan invasion, with them being beaten back at the Bloodsnows instead, in a decisive (but costly) Westlands victory. Instead of Maiden of the Spear, Mat's biological mother would have been a Deathwatch Guard, likely someone also originally from the Westlands, with a parallel story to Shaiel'sl. His father would have been an Imperial Prince (an adoptive brother of Radhanan's/potential threat to her power) placed in charge of the invasion as a suicide mission/punishment for disgrace.

Conversely it is the Seanchan that Mat has to bind to aid him rather then the Aiel- something he struggles with a lot more then Rand did with the Aiel, though he also feels a lot less guilty about upending their culture and social order then Rand did. This also means he spends TSR/TFOH journeying to, then having to directly confront the Court of the Nine Moons et all, where has to reveal the secret lies of which the Empire predicates it's strength. This leaves Tuon in Couladin's approximate role: the rallying point of Imperial opposition, attempting to pry loose Mat's grip on power.

Because I am, in my heart of hearts a filthy Cauthor shipper- I would have Rand remain at Mat's side as confidant and guardian through to the bitter end. In my head he ends up taking up the dagger in order to protect Mat from Mordeth, and almost consumed by it in a similar way before breaking free/being healed. Though I wouldn't have him Aiel born, I probably would give him an parallel Aiel Training Arc to both help get over Dagger Withdrawal Syndrome and find his niche (assuming he can't channel in this turning).

So about the Space Trickster AU: I'm undecided on what direction to take our sugar coated nasties.

On the one hand, when I first thought of this I was thinking of them as zombies/zombie-like to ultimately end up as dead or wholly unrecognizable as human (fun to think about but I'm the end kinda boring to draw)

On the other, I've more recently been thinking about them being transmuted into more creature-like things but still mostly human with each having a different mutation. Here are the mutation ideas I have:

Dirks's torso elongated, making room for his second pair of arms; his canines elongated as well with new ones popping in behind them. His eyes got better at picking things up in the dark but have become more light-sensitive

Jake more often then not travels on all fours or by crawling through ducts and pipes and so developed pads on his hands, knees, and feet; he lost his glasses at one point so he relies more on his sense of smell and hearing (though I was thinking of giving him thermal vision). All of his teeth have gotten sharper (may have venomous salvia)

Jane has probably the least 'fucked up' features. Her hands have grown pads, so she has a better grip, and with that grip, she can transmute people/objects though she has to have full concentration and is vulnerable at this time. Her skin, in some places, is candy cane-stripped but her whole body is capable of camouflage. Her canines and the first premolars have gotten bigger and sharpened.

Roxy I'm unsure about, but I want her to be able to transportalize herself short distances and maybe do something with voice mimicry. Like I said, I'm unsure about her so I don't have much.

That all just seems more fun to draw, but maybe less daunting than the betas facing the rotting ambling corpses of their family members.

a/n: if you've been following me for any length of time, you've likely come across at least one or two bits of daddy kink content. it's not exactly hidden or in small quantity. thus, i bring you daddy!hizashi. this has been in my drafts for months as well so have fun.

*this was written with f!reader in mind but most of them could also work as gn!reader.

look, we all know hizashi is an absolute babygirl, but listen. i want to expand on (or reiterate) this hc bc daddy!hizashi makes more sense than you might think.

he's pretty soft as far as doms go. actually he’s less of a daddy dom and more of a dilf/sugar daddy but still.

high social emotional intelligence. someone who leads with love and guidance even if he's not a dom.

i don't see him as the 24/7 dynamic type, but it's also more than just in the bedroom. that said, he's a grown ass man and will communicate if/when he needs you to take the lead.

like i said he seems aloof but he's playin 3d chess over here. he's the one who draws it out of you without having to say it.

maybe you weren't sure if you were into that kind of thing, but one day, it slips from your lips; you call him daddy, and while he might blush a little the first time, it's pretty much settled. no teasing, no weird looks or strong reactions, no awkward conversations (save your own embarrassment)…. it feels natural without a lot of effort.

"daddy's little listener." that's all i'm saying.

he spoils you with the cutest clothes and lingerie.

if you’re a little: he started and continues to add to your stuffed animal collection. sugar daddy!hizashi’s got a whole playroom just for you.

not big on rules and punishments, but he does see to it that you take care of yourself/are taken care of.

not a sadist, but he might spank occasionally and will say yes if you ask nicely.

unless you don't want him to, he's gonna be holding your hand to cross the street and giving you a peck on the lips when he buckles your seatbelt, i don't make the rules. he also likes to walk on the street side of the sidewalk, hold doors, and pull out your chair. it's not a chivalry thing. he likes taking care of you.

i stand by my "leaves cute lil notes with ur lunch every day" hc. he also sends cute or teasing texts on the regular just for the fun of it.

big on praise, giving and receiving, though he might not admit the latter at first.

you might be his kitten, baby, princess, etc. but he loves it when you take the lead.

i’m gonna say that he’s like izuku in that he has a pretty substantial dildo toy collection, many of which are custom pours. it’s just one more way he likes to spoil you… and himself.

Twisted Wonderland Personality Swap AU

So I’ve been experimenting and having a lot of fun with a Twisted Wonderland personality swap AU, where the Housewardens and Vice-Housewardens switch personalities. I ended up sketching a little comic (read left to right) and since this is my first ever attempt at a comic I think it ended up not half bad. I might clean it up later if I feel like it lol. (Click for higher quality)

(Can you tell I have no idea how speech bubbles work? Also- first time ever properly drawing Trey so yay for me ig?)

Riddle is much calmer and more light-hearted. He’s still Housewarden, but his dynamic with Trey (and the whole dorm) has changed significantly. He’s a bit more of a trickster and much more laid back. He now desires to ‘maintain peace and keep his school life stress-free.’ He doesn’t want to punish anyone for breaking the rules, but his scary Vice-Housewarden Trey does.

Trey is much stricter and is the one with anger issues. He is now the tyrant who holds up all the rules, but since he doesn’t have ‘Off With Your Head’, he has Riddle carry out the punishments. He's probably also very strict when it comes to dental hygiene. Heartslaybul is basically being ruled by Trey, who's forcing Riddle to be strict.

Is anyone else interested in this concept? If so, I'll try my hand at continuing this little comic page.

Character info:

As a kid her parents always read her fairytale stories, teaching her through them to be kind and courageous throughout her life; after the passing of her mother, and soon after her father, Daisy was left alone with her abusive step mother and step sister; after a particular episode where she was humiliated, Daisy remembered how her and her mother wished upon stars when she was little, and trying to comfort herself, she did exactly that and wished for a happier life, with people that love her and where she can find peace. The next day she wakes up in a coffin at NRC.

Relationship dynamics:

Grim & the Ramshackle ghosts: their relationship is pretty similar to what happens in canon, though I believe that Daisy won the ghosts way sooner than in canon because the ghosts immediately feel drawn to her, she has a charisma that immediately draws (most) people in; Grim and Daisy's relationship develops as it is in canon, if not a bit faster. Daisy's only friends in her old world happened to be animals since she lost contact with most of her friends after her step mother took over, so she feels really at home with Grim. At the end of the day, Grim would give his life to protect her and she would do the same, they're a duo and cannot be separated.

Mozus Trein: Trein and Daisy's relationship began as just a normal teacher-student relationship, however it started changing towards a more dad-daughter relationship as time went on; Daisy is, as Trein says, his best student, — never let Azul nor Riddle hear this. — he recognizes how hard she works to understand magic and the new world she is in, and he admires how much she's learned and is always hungry to learn more; Daisy lost her parents at a young age, and her step mother was never really a good parental figure to her, so when Trein starts warming up to her, she feels the love of a father she hasn't felt ever since her own biological father was alive.

Ace & Deuce: putting these two into the same thing because it'll make things easier since the development of their friendship with Daisy is pretty similar. it's basically what happens in canon with a few changes here and there; Ace is always getting scolded by Daisy for messing around too much or not studying enough — Grim is with him on that — while Deuce often gets praised by Daisy for giving his all; Ace also loves pranking Daisy, which makes them fight constantly, but they always make up by the end of the day since it's never that serious. Deuce on the other hand is the "good guy", and Daisy often praises him for being so nice to her and always supporting her — think of the meme "good cat (Deuce): cuddled nicely; bad cat (Ace): bit my ass".

Ruggie Bucchi: since I always talk about him and Daisy I'll just say the essential: Daisy and Ruggie did not like each other at all at first, she thought he was just a selfish coward and he thought she was just a goody two shoes, but after the events of book 2 and 3 took place, they grew to understand more of each other, see each other as friends and after a while they started having feelings towards each other. They're extremely close and despite Ruggie's busy schedule they can often be found together around school.

Leona Kingscholar: I was considering whether or not I should include him but why not? Leona and Daisy started similarly with how Ruggie and Daisy started: they didn't like each other, having a wrong view of who the other was, but later got to know each other and started actually being friends; Daisy really admires Leona's intelligence and is often encouraging him to do his best and try hard. At first he thought that was annoying, still kinda does, but he appreciates that she at least cares enough to do this for him. He will never admit but he views Daisy as the younger sister he never got.

Kalim Al-Asim: different from the others Kalim was kind and friendly from the beginning, and that was very refreshing for her. During book 4 and after, Kalim quickly became one of her most important friends and someone she trusts with her eyes closed. He also helped her in book 5 with her insecurities about her appearance together with Vil and Rook.

Jasper and Angus: Daisy and the Souris brothers met when Portfest was happening; Jasper was a bit wary of Daisy at first but eventually both of them ended but falling in love — platonically duh — with her. Jasper and Angus adore Daisy as if she was part of their family, they often visit her and make small handmade gifts for her, which makes her extremely happy and welcomed in Twisted Wonderland. Their bond is really strong and loving, almost at the same level of Daisy's love for Grim and the ADeuce duo. You can often see them around Port o'Bliss proclaiming how the most beautiful woman on earth (Daisy) is among them and no one's even batting an eye!! Outrageous!!

The Hexsquad + Vee in different D20 seasons:

This was an idea I came up with in my brain. If I could draw it, I would, but I can't, so... settle for this massive fucking block of text. Have fun.

Fantasy High

Luz: A human wizard (Evocation) whose life goal is to be the greatest adventurer the world has ever seen, and that all starts with Aguefort Adventuring Academy. She was always considered the "weird kid" in middle school, but she's confident that she'll find her people at Aguefort, and she's ready to take the school by storm... or, at least, find some friends who she can connect with. Luz is definitely the type of person to get her magic-studying done ahead of time, so she's a little bit ahead a lot of her classmates---mostly due to the fact that she keeps on trying the more complicated spells instead of starting with the basics.

Vee: Luz's adopted sister and a changeling sorcerer (Aberrant Mind). She's less keen on the whole "adventuring" thing, preferring a more mundane life, but she and Luz are thick as thieves, and she knows that her sister is definitely still going to get bullied at Aguefort---better to be there so she can have her back. Vee doesn't really remember a lot of her life from before she got adopted by the Nocedas, though she does know that something happened in those lost years that gave her the powers of the Far Realm... powers that she still can't quite control.

Willow: A dwarven druid (Circle of Spores) and barbarian (Battlerager). She's a case study in what happens when the shy, awkward girl from middle school discovers roller derby over the summer and transforms into a confident, punk-rock powerhouse... who still has some of those old insecurities lingering underneath the surface. Not to mention, pretty explosive anger issues. Willow is more than ready to form a kickass adventuring party on top of starting a roller derby team at Aguefort, but so far, she's only got one member...

Gus: A halfling rogue (Arcane Trickster) who skipped two grades due to being a quote-unquote "prodigy," which is a nice way of saying that he's struggling with severe gifted kid syndrome. He and Willow have been best friends for years, to the point where ending up at Aguefort is kind of the best thing that happened to him, even though he's still pretty insecure about his rogue abilities. Since he's younger than almost everyone else, Gus doesn't have a lot of friends to start outside of Willow... so, of course, the best course of action is to join literally every extracurricular. Despite already having a packed schedule. Yeah, he's overworking himself.

Amity: A high elf artificer (Battlesmith) who's built up a reputation as a top student at Hudol---a reputation that, according to her mother, she's completely throwing away by not only choosing to be an artificer instead of a wizard, but purposefully failing the Hudol entrance exam so she could go to Aguefort Adventuring Academy instead. Amity's really just learning how to be rebellious, so she's taking small steps---different academic path, exploring her own passions, dyeing her hair a different color---before she can hopefully build up enough disrespect for authority that she can move out, or at least help her dad work up the courage to ask for divorce papers. She's trying.

Hunter: A tiefling bard (College of Valor) who, like Fig, has only recently discovered that he's a tiefling. Rather than going straight to the rebellious route, though, he's kind of at a loss as to what to do, to the point where he even drops being a paladin in favor of being a bard---though, of course, still within the standard-hero vein. He's been raised by his uncle his whole life, and while their relationship has been pretty positive up until now, it's become fairly strained due to Belos never telling Hunter that his mom was a devil ("I don't give a fuck about safety, Uncle B, the fact that I am literally a spawn of hell is something that I should know"). But he's got an outlet. He's learning guitar and some bard spells.

A Starstruck Odyssey

Captain Luz Noceda: The Amercadian girl who always dreamed of becoming a spacer, she's now the captain of her very own ship, The Selkie, at the age of twenty-six... and she's struggling. Sure, she's joined every union she can, got all the insurance, and has really been trying to keep the ship on the up-and-up, but every time she takes a risk and goes for a more dangerous job, things fail drastically. Luz loves her crew and her ship, and she really doesn't want to give any of it up, but she can't ignore the little voice in her head that's telling her that she might not be as cut out for the spacing life as she originally believed. As luck would have it, though, her new hire has some excellent skills up her sleeve...

Amity Blight-Deamonne: The youngest daughter of renowned inventor Alador Blight and high-society fashion designer Darius Deamonne, Amity's got money, mechanical skills, and a sense of style that's the envy of every femme in the galaxy. She was apprenticing under both of her fathers at the same time, but after hearing that her older siblings had apparently made quite a life for themselves as spacers, she decided that there was no way she was going to miss out on the fun and joined Luz's crew as a mechanic and a "crew diplomat." Of course, Amity isn't the most prepared for the combat that they wind up in more often than not, but she is prepared to do some handy repairs and a lot of smooth talking when necessary. Which is almost all the time. (Also, she lost a leg and an arm in a childhood accident, but her family could afford to have her get fitted for cybernetic replacements without going into massive debt. This has caused her to be a major advocate for cyborg rights.)

Deep-Sea Volcano Eroded By Time, human name "Vee": An Aguatunisian who set off on her Galivant several years ago, she's been exposed to how dishonest, selfish, and uncaring the world outside her home planet can be, which has led her to becoming quite the nervous wreck. True cynicism is something that's pretty much impossible for Vee to really achieve, due to being a psychic being who can tell when people are lying and being fortunate enough to land among folks who are pretty open with each other, but she's still wary of new people until she gets a chance to communicate. Because of this, being the comms officer was the perfect choice, and Vee's pretty comfortable on The Selkie. Still doesn't stop her from going into a panic attack every time the crew gets into combat, though.

Gus Porter (soon-to-be Dr. Porter): Youngest of the crew, Gus is a medical grad student who's interning on the ship for his thesis project---which basically translates to him being the ship's doctor. On paper, he doesn't mind doing the medical stuff, since his entire thesis is on how spacers can maintain a healthy lifestyle while in a fairly dangerous occupation, but more than half the time, he's stuck doing emergency surgery and trying his damnedest not to remind everyone that he's studying to be a doctor, not a surgeon. Despite everything, Gus is absolutely enamored with the spacing life, and he's probably gonna stay on The Selkie well after he finishes his degree.

Wondrous Willow: The beta version of a battle droid that eventually got remade and rebranded as an assistant, Willow has long since given up attempting to fulfill that function and has fully embraced herself as part of the crew of The Selkie. She's a gunner, a heavy-hitter, an extremely loyal friend, and is surprisingly good at cooking---all of which makes her a crew favorite. Of course, despite technically fulfilling what she was designed for, she's still trying to find herself beyond just claiming agency, and it's slow-going for our girl. But she's not called "Wondrous Willow" for nothing, and if there's anything she knows, it's how to tough it out in this galaxy.

Hunter "Lucky Number" Seven: A supersoldier clone turned rugged mercenary, Hunter was designed to save people with smarts as well as brawn, as part of the renowned Hunters For Hire. He and his fellow clones were incredibly adept heroes who helped out anyone in AnarchEra that were in need... until a mysterious individual slaughtered almost all of them, with Hunter Seven being the only one to escape. Currently, he believes that the culprit is his now-slain creator's brother, the elusive and infamous mad scientist known as Dr. Philip B. Wittebane, but that may be a red herring, and the real killer could still be out there. For now, Hunter's found a new squad in the crew of the Selkie, a sister figure in Luz, and a girlfriend in his fellow gunner---and until he gets his revenge on, he's happy for now.

A Court of Fey and Flowers

Luz & Vee: The "twin" daughters of Trickster Court nobility, the two are a rare example of a human and a changeling who decide to remain in the Feywild rather than the Material Plane. While Vee fits in seamlessly in a court of shifters, pranksters, and folks who enjoy nothing more than mischief, Luz stands out in fey society due to her magic not coming naturally and the simple fact that she is a human---despite her parents having blessed her with an unusually long life. As such, she's in the rare position of being more nervous than her sister from the prospect of attending the Bloom, but while Vee has no other intentions than to just have a good time with members of other courts, Luz dreams of potentially finding a match at what some call the most romantic occasion the Feywild has to offer. Though it's uncommon for a fey to fall for a human, maybe Lady Luck is on her side...

Amity: She and her family are all that remains of the Court of Craft, and her father Darius disappeared some time ago. Having only recently come to the conclusion that his husband is dead, her other father, Alador, has agreed to form a marriage alliance with the lady Odalia of the Court of Wonder, something that Amity knows will destroy their court---and she believes wholeheartedly that Darius is still alive. She's at the Bloom for the sole purpose of finding out how to save her court and her father, and romance is the furthest thing from her mind... until she meets a kindhearted individual from the Trickster Court, who seems to not care about the pressures and expectations of fey society. And more than that, she wants to aid her in her cause.

Willow: The niece of Queen Titania and a duchess of the Seelie Court, Willow has attended many a Bloom, and she's used to the whole song-and-dance routine by now. However, her aunt has advised her that this year, the Bloom will be quite a different affair, and it would be in the Seelie Court's best interest for Willow to try and find a political match by the end of the celebration. Of course, Willow's a very free-spirited individual and is adamant about marrying only for love, so she's really just looking for a way to prove to her aunt that she's quite capable of being a high-society woman on her own... until she meets a certain individual.

Hunter: Heir to the Unseelie Court, Prince Hunter is attempting to put his past of just being the nerdy teen who talks about his interest to anyone who'll listen behind him, and in doing so, goes full Mr. Darcy---closed-off, socially awkward, and barely capable of making actual conversation. He fully intended to just spend the Bloom waiting for it to end so he doesn't have to keep on being "a shining example of the values of the Unseelie Court," but on his very first day, he meets the wisecracking and whip-smart Willow, and develops a big ol' crush on her almost instantly... though it takes him a while to figure out how to word it, because, y'know, zero social skills.

Gus: Pretty much the only person who's here for the social drama rather than the romance, Gus is an up-and-coming diplomat of the Goblin Court who's writing a book on the intricately woven fey society---he's intending it to be an anthropological study, but it's slowly starting to become a tell-all expose. Because of this, Gus always has his ear to the ground when it comes to secrets, and it's very rare for anyone to be able to tell him a successful lie... so, needless to say, when he catches wind of Amity's plan, he is one hundred percent on board. (Also, he and Vee become friends almost immediately. Chaos recognizes chaos.)

I mostly keep this shit in my head and I can make a huge list of it but dawg most of mine involves my silly interpretations- plus I seen people

It’s kinda a mess to think about but I’ll go to my personal favorites

X being chunky always gives me some feels for me, like he would fucking rock it. He’s actually more tanky then Zero while he’s sorta at times a glass canon (Mf Died like multiple times and X died Once). It derives from the idea of why he chose a thicker body, because the area of his stomach was pierced by Sigma like twice. So basically it gives him extra defense. Despite the it he’s just a Flexible as ever but a bit more slower.

Meaning that his “Stomach” area is incredibly sensitive and he will smack you on instinct if you touch it. He suffers phantom pains occasionally. It's a massive bitch but he got used to it.

(Aka I believe Burly/chunky X supremacy)

X has a soft spot for children okay, since he’s very approachable to children, he would even let them draw on his armor. Babies are a definite weakness of his their tiny hands will make him cry so hard

So it would make sense that he would be a parent but he would rather settle down to start a Family in peace times and after he himself healed and rested.

Zero is kinda a low key creature, in the sense that he actually has retractable claws and can run on fours but only for extremely rare occasions. That's because he’s not only the ultimate war but also the ultimate predator. Aka he’s fucking lion coded

One of the reasons why X and Zero are always different compared to other Androids and shit is because they were made from Alien tech/Energy stuff. You can’t fucking tell that Dr Light didn’t used the material that Duo left to include that while making X right? And Zero…We all know Wily was on some crack (I’m always a believer that He used evil energy to create Roboenza and what could eventually become the Maverick Virus). And no one knew about the whole fiasco with Duo aside from Megaman and the others. So it makes sense that Light and wily (Possible Cossack knew something about it) Used it for their final creations.

Marty (From the MMX manga that I’m absolutely so normal about) has so much knowledge of Marine life and the ocean, Rescue worker regulations and information is insane. How the flying shit did a marine rescue worker end up as an infamous Pirate Queen is a mystery to anyone.

She's also tall and muscular and is absolutely more “Beast-like” (Having scales, fangs and retractable webbed claws) to give off a more intimidating impression to keep folks away from her and her crew.

Speaking of her Crew they are all composed of other marine Rescue types, a couple Human Cyborgs (and a few non cyborgs) and a few Repliforce defectors. (A small fun fact in my silly XxMarty Valentine manatee oneshot, Marty brought up Gale Albatross who’s actually a former Repliforce soldier that defected as soon as they declared independence not wanting to be apart of it but is untrusting towards the hunters).

She may not look like but she genuinely cares for everyone in her crew and would do anything to protect them. She also courted her hair after her fight with Byte back at X3 manga. She has matured over the years but still holds her mischievous/prideful personality.

Contrary to what it's led to believe her crew aren’t like…bad or act like actual pirates. It’s more like they are more of an independent group. Since that they deal with poaching, taking out criminals out of sea, providing relief for coastal communities that were strongly affected by war, etc…They just Red Alert if they weren’t Bounty hunters.

Axl is absolutely a Streamer and a bit of a meme master. He’s a deadly actor and trickster so watch out he fucking glad that he’s a goober!!

Legends is underrated as shit I mean the potential is great! It’s so fucking expansive Idk where to start-

Random personal character/worldbuilding

I wanted to design at some point an original roster of fighting game characters and my life spiralled out of control thinking of new ideas so I gotta share what I got:

Pitch: It's about a group of superpowered teens who get sent to a school training them how to be good superVILLAINS.

Slightly more specifics: The world is like ours but there are supers around. There exists a school for "superpowered opportunists" that is ostensibly to raise up-and-coming supers but is very transparently corrupt and just a legally-permissible way to raise future allies to whatever mustache-twirling nonsense they have cooking up. The students are sourced from all over the world and are mostly good kids, but they have wild powers to deal with that are very easy to look at and go "yep, they're born to join the dark side."

Character list at the moment:

"Anti" (Canadian), timid but ambitious, well-behaved, reasonably "normal" kid from the suburbs who discovered that their shadow is alive, and can rise up and kill people. Was involuntarily sent to the school by their parents who believed it would be a good fit, for better and for worse. Now basically trying to survive. Fights with a quarterstaff, shadow deals its own attacks, turns staff into a scythe and other scary sharp things, wants its host to join in the fun.

"Hellgirl" ("Eastern European"), a princess to an impoverished noble family who -- in a desperate bid for power -- sacrificed her as part of a draconic ritual, with her coming back as this cursed half-dragon that has to be bound in magic tampering chains to stop her from ripping peoples' heads off. Genuinely a proper lady and actually kind of a sweetheart when lucid. Requires a buncha physical accomodations but can still fight even when in chains. Also, breathes hellfire. Cool beans.

"Smoggy/The Vigilante Smog Monster" (Australian), a living swamp monster summoned by an Aboriginal tribe who believed him to be a guardian spirit, and though he had no idea what they were talking about, he remained their guardian until he was separated and stumbled into scouting agents for the school. Shifts between a gross, sludgy humanoid form and horror smoke with the power of ancient wooden masks he keeps around him. Huge and imposing, but surprisingly a pretty swell dude.

"IDKYS/I Don't Know You, Sorry" (Filipino), aspiring would-be idol whose voice has overpowering hypnotic properties -- got enrolled in the school in order for her to develop her skillset without it. Ostensibly like a "cute mute" sorta scholarly student, actually very, very salty. Wears a cool mask that converts her voice to text and then back to into monotone text-to-speech (for safety reasons), is also rigged to an amplifier mic on a stand that she wields like a mace, has the power to blast people apart with SFX.

"Twintails" (Japanese), a transforming kitsune wizard/ninja who is two separate people from different secretive clans in one: a male wizard and a female ninja, who got "fused" together by a trickster yokai that caused them to share the same body, swapping between identities whenever they sneeze. They're both aware of each other and hate each other, habitually accusing the other for being the imposter yokai cohabiting their body, but are forced to work together to make it work.

"Metal Alice" (French), what was once the innocent young daughter to a supervillain, who perished following his last evil plan gone wrong. After attempting to resurrect her, Little Alice's spirit was "restored" into an old doll-like animatronic, which is itself now a walking portal to the ghost dimension. Is able to draw various weapons of phantasmic metals out of her body, from speared parasols to chainsaws. The "cute" kind of scary!

"Magnum" (American), the newest cyborg prototype from a company for mad scientist tech, designed of indestructible metals. Has the power to explode virtually any joint in his body like a bomb before automatically reassembling. Does it to fire his fingers/arms like projectiles, and is also a grappler. Was sent to the school to fix his raging ego problem. Speaks and dresses like a cowboy and has a nice hat. Deal with it.

"Hotshot" (Chinese), a guy who thinks and acts like he's the "shotoclone" protagonist of a normal fighting game (arrogant young martial artist with fire powers and always rearing for a fight), but is too arrogant to realize that this isn't the kind of story he's in (and also that he's a jackass). Despite this, he's very popular by way of the popular jock/bully who's a total dickhead but also so cooooool, and definitely the best student at a straight-on fight.

"Vioelectrolysis" (Motswana), a mad scientist in training who just LOVES making her crazy super-chemicals technicolor and do weird and unexpected things. Carries a bunch of it around in this modified fire extinguisher/gas tank that she can use to spray various super-fluids or swing around like a flail. Has a gas mask for her own protection; may or may not have mutated herself with something cool at some point.

"Marmaron" (Greek), an incomplete statue of a marble-like material that accidentally came to life while being made by a mysterious artist that Marmaron proceeded to kill, supposedly in self-defense. Doesn't have a face or a finished hand, splashed paint where his face should be to look even scarier presentable. Has the power to turn people into stone, but only temporarily. Spends his time minding his own business with painting and poetry, doesn't mind that everyone thinks he's creepy as hell.

Ive been playing this game since pretty much day one, its been over a year and im still hyper fixating on it. Recently Ive been seeing a lot of clan blogs going around and decided to make my own, focusing on these silly guys. Im planning to post a new moon every day since they’re so easy to draw, we’ll see tho.

Rainstar- Lenient and sneaky shes constantly caught sneaking out of camp or talking to outsiders, going as far as to having close friendships with many cats from outside the clan.

Piperflake- Strict and tough shes the opposite of Newtclan’s leader, often seen alone deep in thought or lecturing apprentices and young warriors over the smallest things.

Roarsplash- Anxious and nervous many cats say shes in a constant state of panic, this isnt too far from the truth as shes rarely seen calmly doing something or not overthinking.

Daisymurk- Silly and confident this young warrior isnt afraid to act out of line or go against the warrior code, its not uncommon to catch her trying to convince the kits to sneak out of camp.

Coniferpaw- Stern but not hardheaded this cat lives off the warrior code, he takes after his mentor Piperflake in most of his ideals and often does things in an attempt to impress her even if dangerous, despite this he still knows how to have fun.

Icypaw- Troublesome and funny he is a trickster of a cat, when hes not pranking cats or being blatantly rude hes working on training himself often overestimating the limits of what hes capable of doing.

Fernpaw- Childish but shy this young apprentice is often unintentionally getting into trouble with older warriors, its not like he means to bother them he just wants to have fun.

Frondkit- Comforting but quite featherbrained shes often asking the dumbest questions leaving cats to think shes silly, despite this shes a very wise young cat she strangely gives good advice.

Tadpolekit- Curious and observant this kit is normally following around older cats asking questions non stop about what theyre doing, this bothers most, especially the other kits in the nursery.

Hollykit- Rude and lonesome shes snappy and isolating, preferring her time spent alone and without the company of others. Shes the type of cat whos perfect dream life is being alone for the rest of time.

more old drawings today! even if no one realy interesed in it

so! as i am really into clowns and jesters, today's hot take is my clown gang!!! they all from the same circus and working together

sweet popcorn (they/she/it)

they're like a boss for whole gang, but actually she doesn't appear at the circus very often because they have other work to do! like... save the world! or destroy it! because they're friends/enemies/rivals with some local detective and always trying to stop them or help them. but of course she still loves circuis and everyone there. popcorn is a true trickster of them all.

sour candy and salty caramel (they/it)

a duo that you'll never see apart. they're always together, not only at the stage but in a daily life too! candy is a calm, lazy and positive; and caramel is just a small weepie and crybaby. and candy is the only one who can calm caramel down! but at the other hand, caramel also a little scared by candy because they have this hidden risky nature, loves scary things, and their pranks sometimes are too much. but candy don't want to offend caramel or hurt them! they do really love them, it's just their strange nature

cherry bomb (they/it)

the youngest one and the craziest one, not in an evil way tho, just for fun! their hunger for fun, tricks and pranks is immeasurable. they don't fear ANYTHING and will do anything to make audience or their friends laugh. and yeah, sometimes it's too much, like for sour candy. don't blame them, they have a brain of 6 years old. and a cannon! a giant cannon that no one else can lift up and that can shoot anything from ballons with water to a real lions.

minty (she/they/it)

a dog. not in a furry way, it's LITERALLY a dog. a dog that can talk, but a real dog. someone just threw her away, and clowns were the ones to find her. they taught her to walk on two legs and even made her a costume! and a little hat!!! she's a shy doggy, but kind and curious, she likes to talk to people and learn things. she knows some tricks and really really wants to learn magic ones!

liquorice (he/they/it)

a cat, but in a furry way now. he's a mime and also a magician. he never talks, usually using sign language, pantomime, writing and any other way to communicate, and everyone just. understand him. but minty says that he CAN talk, it's just others can't hear him. he has this typical cat nature for sure, and he's also a big cheese lover. liquorice is actually a 100% white cat, he just paints his ears, nose and tail with black. he also has an assistant named meringue, but she's my friend's character so i can't show her here
