3.3k words summarizing queliot if you've never seen the magicians. or if youve seen it and you want to indulge in my insane criticisms. lord touch his mind
okay so the magicians was a tv show about a bunch of post grads learning magic in magic university then discovering that the fantasy world from a kids book series was actually real and the Beast of that world was out to get them. WHO GIVES A FUCK. the crazy people were focused on the relationship btwn main character quentin coldwater (depressed, heart on his sleeve, surprise sex maniac who is new to magic and loves those books) and gay best friend eliot waugh (substance addicted (big surprise!!), gay trauma, named after evelyn waugh oh you know…) they form a friendship and it’s weirdly touchy and close. eliot keeps trying to seduce quentin but it’s never serious. i dont even think quentin notices. anyone remember the “lets not talk” scene? he was about to fuck that sad man. anyway this tension was actually fulfilled by the end of the 1st season with a drunk threesome including the two and their best friend margo. they at least kiss and cuddle and MAYBE sucked dick if the ghost of his girlfriend who haunts him later is to be believed (which i do #cockinhismouthsunday).
at this time articles that were like “THIS SIFI SERIES IS PROUDLY BISEXUAL” were coming out which. lol. lmfao! quentin never had any sort of queer identity. not even a hint of it. the homophobia of the show started with the regurgitation of the “sad drunk lonely sex-crazed” gay man trope with eliot, then the “everyone is fluid but no one actually has same sex attraction” trope, THEN by sidelining and killing off almost every gay or trans character, THEN THE QUENTIN THING. and the quentin thing turned people insane. let’s see why.
so after the threesome, eliot and quentin continue having a good friendship. there is some tension that isnt present with margo which sure is a choice… but it is resolved by a heartfelt crowning ceremony nd hug. oh theyre kings of the magic land now btw. eliot and q are pretty much separate from this point on xcept for certain episodes/moments. it is strange they dont have any storylines together. but love finds a way. at some point a version of eliot sacrifies himself for quentin. if u look at the scene it is on instinct it is crazy. then they reunite at the end of s2 but it’s all business really. the show was really involved w its nonsense plot.
anyway season 3. hahaha. so like i said theyre separate most of the show past s1. this is true in this season xcept for episodes 305 and 313 (with some notable moments in between). the plot of this season is that they have to go on quests to collect keys. the creature that gives eliot this plot calls quentin his “brother of the heart”. ok! when they see each other for the first time in a while in 304, they hug in a very sweet way :) look at this photo from bts during that scene :) i have it framed
after a series of other quests, 305 turns out to be the Eliot and Quentin quest! finally a story with the two! the quest is for the “time key”, which is fabled to be given to whoever solves the mosaic puzzle in fillory (magic world). the puzzle? they have to arrange 100s of tiles in a way that depicts “the beauty of all life”. quentin is very excited about it. eliot is happy to hear him infodump. they eventually get pushed into fillory to solve the mosaic. turns out they were also sent DECADES in the past. there might have been a way out but they were dead-set on solving the mosaic and getting their key. so they get to work. they live in a cottage attached to the mosaic and they spend hours, days, months on it. just the two of them and the mosaic. this episode is called “a life in a day” which is so perfect you wonder why the writing couldnt be that good within the show.
at the 1 year anniversary, quentin kisses eliot. and eliot kisses him back. and you wonder woah what does this mean?! well keep wondering girl because this tv show does not care to explore any of that. it chugs on and eliot and q fight about “living their lives there” and quentin gets a Wife and has a child with her and then she DIES (leaving her as a narrative incubator rather than an actual character, which is very in line with the sexism of the show). and they grow up and decades pass and the child grows old enough to leave and it seems eliot co-parented him but (again) the tv show doesnt care to show you that. and this whole time theyre working on the mosaic. years and years. eventually they grow old. it’s just the two of them. until eliot dies. quentin goes to bury him in the mosaic plot and he finds a special little tile. he places it in the mosaic. he gets the key. the puzzle is solved. “the beauty of all life”. but quentin is alone. his life companion is gone. and that’s the last we see of him.
we go back in time til before they enter fillory. their friend stops them and she has the key through time shenanigans and they never live that timeline. UNTIL!!!!! they do. they remember it all. what does decades (50 yrs btw) of living happily together mean for them?!? FUCK ALL APPARENTLY!!!! because the next episode (306 if yr keep track) they mention it ONCE AND NEVER AGAIN. and there is so much beneath the surface with the looks and the line that mentions it (“go be life partners with someone else” eliot says jokingly in a manner that shouldve been the catalyst to quentin’s magic-induced suicide spiral later that episode).
ok quentin does mention it once more to his dying dad. but nothing about his Male Life Partner Of Fifty Years. Nothing. they dont even talk about it with their best friends, leading one to believe they just kept it a secret . which. okay.
okay. so theyre apart til the last episode of the season. and quentin decides to sacrifice himself by locking himself in a cage with a monster for all of eternity. he says the quest prepared him for it which is yikesss. eliot refuses. but quentin insists. they travel to the prison (he gets back together with his gf during this trip btw they had been apart that season after some shit. one of their worst writing decisions i hate this stupid ass cockroach relationship). quentin almost exchanges himself. then eliot shoots the monster. dooming them all.
so the monster doesnt die. instead he possesses eliot. and that becomes the story for season 4. at first quentin and co think eliot is dead. and it’s devastating lol. an interesting thing is that the monster was so. touchy with quentin. unbearably so. it’s such a perverse reflection of eliot’s touch. which is sorta pointed out by quentin in this quote (paraphrase) “i know it’s not eliot. but he has his face and his eyes…”
anyhow 405. hahahahahaha. so this episode it’s revealed eliot is alive but trapped in his own head. and to get out for a moment and tell his friends he’s alive, he needs to confront his most terrible most shameful memory. the whole episode is him trying to figure out what it is. meanwhile, quentin and co are setting up a plan to kill the monster. and quentin breaks up with his gf (lol). in a deleted scene that WAS shown in promo they argue about the monster. and quentin says “im team eliot”. lol
anyhow, eliot’s hit a dead end. he cant figure the worst thing that’s happened in his life. then his memory of quentin (theyve been hangin out) says he’ll “sacrifice” himself if he had to. eliot smiles and says “i know youre just a memory… but youre a very generous one.” and quentin says— (im reciting this from memory btw all of this has been from 4 years of NON STOP thinking about it) quentin says “well you sacrifice for the people you love” and he gives eliot a VERY pointed look. and then it dawns on eliot. and the guilt is instantly palpable.
hahahahha. hahaha. hahahahahaha. okay so eliot goes to the memory he knows is the worst thing he’s ever done. his most traumatic memory, after a lifetime of violent homophobia and bad choices. the person possessed before him described this memory as being “the day he left home”.
the memory? the day they remembered their past lives. did it happen? fifty years. it happened.
theyre sat under a wedding arch (that was the b plot of the episode lol). it’s beautiful. eliot watches the memory play out, standing in front of the seated figures. the guilt. the guilt.
outside, the tension is building. the plan to kill the monster is in motion. quentin has to coax him to a certain spot. he has to look at him as he kills his best friend.
eliot doesnt know this but he gets anxious watching it play out. there is a certainty that this is it. the first time viewer has no idea whats going on. we never saw the direct aftermath of them remembering. we always assumed there wasnt anything.
well a year after 305 aired, a yr after thinking THAT WAS IT, they recontextualize Everything.
it is worth saying here that in the promo interviews leading up to season 4, quentin’s and eliot’s actors were sussing it UP. quentin’s at some point talks on q’s queerness, saying it was the one aspect of his life he didnt feel anxious about.
well
what happens is that quentin asks eliot for a relationship. remember how it was quentin who first kissed eliot? it happens again. heart on his fucking sleeve. i can recite this scene pretty well so im going to fucking do it:
did it happen? fifty years. it happened. it was sort of beautiful. it really was. i know this is gonna sound dumb but … us. i mean we work. we know it cause we lived it. who gets that proof of concept? (eliot smiles uneasily) we just got injected with fifty years of memories so i get that youre not thinking clearly. no im just saying… what if we gave it a shot, would that be so crazy? (eliot looks down, worried and thoughtful. quentin smiles RADIANTLY it is BLINDING) why the fuck not?
editors opinion: quentin is such a beautiful person. to be so truthful about something so scary is unthinkable. especially in context of him being so hopelessly and quietly in love his childhood best friend, and his whirlwind romance with previously mentioned gf, and all the tragedy he endured with these two. but this is someone who loves with his whole heart. what was he supposed to do? contain it?
then eliot hardens.
i know you and you arent… whats the matter? dont be naive it matters. (pause) q i love you but… that isnt me and that definitely isnt you. not when we have a choice. (quentin looks away. he wipes his eye) oh. okay. sorry.
and silence. the real eliot, the eliot who isnt the memory, looks on. tired and angry, he speaks to himself:
what the hell is wrong with you? what the hell are you doing? someone Good and True… Loves you. yeah it was a little crazy but you knew. you knew this truly mattered. and you just SNUFFED IT OUT.
then he looks to the memory of quentin. soft as the clouds:
q. im sorry. i was afraid. and when im afraid i run away.
then he kisses him. and he hits you with the thesis of the episode:
if i ever get out of here q… know that when im braver it cause i learned it from you.
well
thats his most traumatic memory. he is granted passage to consciousness. what is the first thing he sees? quentin. the real quentin.
q? (smiles) q (laughs) it’s me. it’s eliot. ok come on no games. it’s eliot. i said no games. (eliot looks around, worried as all hell) fifty years (he walks towards q) who gets proof of concept like that? what? peaches and plums motherfucker (this is the symbol to their mosaic life) im alive in here. (eyes as wide as saucers, heart in his throat) eliot…
and he ruins their plans of killing the monster. “eliot’s alive.”
then the episodes keep rolling. “eliot eliot eliot. why do you care so much about him?” “because i do.” and “wow i love that plan. except the part where it doesnt save eliot.” quentin gets back with his gf for reasons only the devil knows. but fine ok whatever quentin and eliot will HAVE to talk post-saving. even if the writers ignore it once more they have some kind of relationship. and they do save eliot in the finale! you know who they dont save? lmfao
quentin dies. in a manner that many including myself found weird and unsatisfactory and suicidal. and he never gets to know how eliot feels. never. he’s just gone. their story means nothing 💯
editors note: this ending broke me. i was using the show as a depression crutch, so a fate so hopeless ruined me. cant blame the show for my mistake but being so technically bad certainly didnt help.
well when the show came back for its next (and final lol) season, they did attempt closure for eliot and quentin. for some reason this was all contained in 3 episodes, most of it in the third (503) but what the fuck ever. it has its moments.
the episode is basically about eliot and alice (q’s gf i dont think ive mentioned her name. sorry alice) going on a mini quest up a treacherous mountain for grievers to return a piece of quentin’s soul back to the underworld. their fights are soooo funny. toxic lover vs almost-lover.
alice at some point says “well he was MY boyfriend this is MY pilgrimage and you just TAGGED ALONG” and (blood obviously boiling) eliot goes “right, because he meant nothing to me”. and this highlights something so sneakily homophobic about this whole affair. quentin and eliot’s relationship never mattered to the narrative as much as all the other straight relationships, especially quentin and alice’s. like i said, they would separate for entire seasons. you will be happy to know that not 1 episode goes by without quentin and alice conflicting and making up conflicting and etc. i dont understand how quentin and eliot’s relationship wasnt important enough. they were best friends, they kissed multiple times and had sex AT LEAST once if the mosaic subtext isnt considered. and the mosaic… it isnt just that they lived together for 50 yrs and raised a child and were happy, something they couldnt quite grasp in their old lives… they achieved the beauty of all life. that is a monumental achievement that shouldve changed not only their lives, but their stories.
the thing about the confession is that it wasnt planted in s3. talking about 405, the writers said they came up with it while working on that episode. it was essentially a retcon. though its inclusion explains why they didnt talk about it literally, it doesnt excuse the narrative outright ignoring it. it DEFINITELY doesnt account for why it ignored the rest of the SAME SEASON it was ESTABLISHED IN. if this was quentin and alice, they would be talking about it nonstop. and guess the fuck what when they get back together it is *non stop*.
SO. 503. they are on their pilgrimage. tensions build. eliot hallucinates quentin’s voice (it’s a soundbite from the mosaic when eliot dies which is depressing). they meet another traveller who is grieving his long dead boyfriend.
the traveller asks who theyre grieving and alice goes My Boyfriend and eliot looks away and says he knew him as a friend and it’s so sad it makes me want to die. why did they invent new exciting ways for gay people to be ashamed of who they love. i hate this show.
anyway the traveller talks about his boyfriend and how he was a magician who died young and how his dreams were haunted by him. and eliot is listening so intensely you want to jump hale appleman for being so good at this acting thing. alice goes to sleep and leaves the two alone. then they really start talkin:
(the traveller asks) have you ever had love? (eliot smiles small, hesitant) love…? yeah love. (pause) the friend we’re putting to rest. (traveller is delightfully shock) wasnt just a friend.
truly truly truly cant describe to you how much it physically pains me that it took 2 seasons and for one of them to die and a conversation with a stranger to get to this point. why wasnt this always part of the narrative. why does this only matter now after 2 yrs of fans badgering you about why this isnt part of the fucking show despite BEING PART OF THE FUCKING SHOW! it is dead obvious this was never the intent so even with something that should feel right feels wrong because the show never wanted it. it never wanted quentin to be in love with eliot. but it doesnt make sense if he isnt. i hate this show.
the convo continues 🙄:
does she know? oh god no. a torrid secret affair. (eliot looks away) no, nothing like that.
and i wish eliot was given a proper story. i wish i knew what was going on in his head through all of this. i wish i wish.
so it is revealed that quentin and eliot “had love” and that eliot is keeping it a secret (a revelation considering they werent intimate on screen past the 1 yr anniversary, they were only ever referred to as best friends by cast and crew, AND even what they were was obscured in the confession scene. and their feelings didnt matter past 405 fuck this world). this is huge. it should be huge. eliot’s first arc is about how he cant fall in love until he does and gets his heart broken. quentin’s stories are so wrapped up in alice that having another love interest should complicate that entirely. it doesnt.
the climax of the episode is when eliot expresses difficulty of letting go of quentin and alice says “he was your friend” and eliot replies (quick as if not meaning to) “he wasnt just my friend.” and wowww. how cathartic. the first time in the history of the show they talk about it. 5 seasons btw.
and eliot tells her about the mosaic and how “we loved each other for a really really long time.” and how he told him to fuck off and how he died for him and how he was never able to talk to him again. he just died.
and that part is supposed to be cathartic too. it feels cathartic for eliot the character at least. but to me the Viewer. i was sick of how they were trying to appeal to MY thoughts of what he should be feeling. as if trying to placate me. cuz if it was soo important it wouldnt just been solved after this episode. he DGAF about quentin after this. i dont get it. why cant they write a proper story.
well one line that stuck with me and i truly felt was this:
alice: he was pretty in love with you
eliot: i wouldnt say that
alice: .. i would
and then eliot looks at her the most devastated a man can look.
thats it. that’s quentin and eliot. a heartfelt and final fuck this show. the fic goes crazy esp the 2019 shit.

Hey lovelies. I know that the new photos were both a welcome gift and also a heavy reminder of where OFMD is and what we've lost. For some it's helping them rally, and for others it's really pulling them down deeper into the gravy basket.
Wherever you are, just know it's gonna be okay. Whether we get an s3 or not, and if we do 10 years from now or next week, it's going to be alright. As so many others have said, including our lovely Con O'Neill, they can't take what we have away from us.
I continue to hear from the cast & crew in all their posts that we are some of the much amazing, kind, and engaging folks they've ever met, and you really should be proud of yourself for that. Our cast & crew are wonderful, but the fans are too.
On a slight side note, please if you can, check on your crew-mates today. The initial shock is starting to fade, but a lot of folks are still struggling, or coming back to struggling after a period of being okay. We're all riding the waves right now lovelies, and it'll take some work but we'll get through the storm, but it'll be easier together.
Our friend @thelatestkate has another lovely note for us.. and I second it. We are all weathering the storm right now, but you belong here, and we love that you're here with us, through tears or laughter, or unhinged fun. Be kind to yourselves lovelies, we are small but we are many, and we all care about you, I wish Sweet Dreams / Happy Days for you <3 Love you Crew.

She auditioned at Cre.Ker Entertainment as a joke in 2015 with singing Adele’s Rolling in the Deep and dancing to BTS’ RUN, but was surprised when she was accepted.
Even before Produce 101, she’s always been a popular trainee— especially when her cover of Katy Perry’s Wide Awake went viral in 2014.
She has a Chihuahua named Miso that lives with her friend, the two adopted her in 2018 when they were roommates.
Her favorite idols have always been Lee Hyori, IU, SNSD, and Wonder Girls.
She is a huge Jujutsu Kaisen fan, fans have given her gifts from the show’s merch or handmade gifts.
Her Dark Moon character is named Lua, and she has the ability of invisibility and force-field manipulation.
In 2020, she left Cre.Ker Entertainment due to inconsistent promises on her debut and joined BigHit Entertainment (G)I-DLE’s Soyeon (though, just ‘a friend’ to the public’s knowledge) told her about how they were looking for female trainees for a co-ed survival show.
Her biological mother died in 2005, her brothers are all half-brothers and their mothers have either left or died.
She is not a PDA person at all, but she’s always sleeping with a teddy in her arms. (The boys do get jealous … of an inanimate object.)
She’s allergic to dogs and strawberries. Despite this, she still has a dog and eat strawberries.
Despite her closed off nature, not letting people in, she has a lot of idol friends.
Her hidden talent is that she can tie cherry stems into a knot with her tongue.

With Engenes, she finds their reaction when she flirts with them funny, but she also loves seeing their reactions when she ‘rejects’ someone (i.e. affection, fans asking her out, etc.) so she picks and choose how she responds to certain things.
After I.O.I. but before ENHYPEN, she had a YouTube channel named Sorabae where she posted make-up videos but the channel has been inactive since 2019.
She can play the piano, but hardly ever plays anymore.
Her persona in front of fans and her actual persona were very different for a while after debut. She didn’t know how to act in front of fans, especially after debuting as the only girl. She slowly started to get more comfortable around fans in the beginning of 2022.
For the majority of her career, including I.O.I., she had a ‘Golden Girl’ image until she gradually changed and allowed herself to let go of things. ENHYPEN have hinted towards this, saying how much she’s opened up to them and more comfortable. She’s also often said how she’s no longer the same girl.
She likes teasing fans more than feeding into delusions, flirting with them and taking it back with a joking snarky comment or saying a comment that had a double meaning and acting as if she had no idea what she said really meant.
She has a small appetite and always ends up giving the rest of her meals to her members.
Her favorite drink is a mocha frappuccino.
Out of everyone, she probably keeps most of her personal life to herself from the fans.
Her favorite dessert is cheesecake.
She prefers fall weather over the summer.
Along with Jay, she cooks the most in the dorm which she doesn’t mind.
She hates waking up early, but she does it to make sure everyone eats.
In an old middle school picture of her on a field trip, Sunoo is seen photobombing behind her with a peace sign.
She knew Heeseung, Jay, and Jungwon before debut as they were all trainees under BigHit.
She was best friends with a fellow trainee and contestant on I-Land, Lim Chaeyeon. The two were both expected to debut in the final line-up until Chaeyeon was eliminated in the last episode, leaving Sora (and Iseul before she left) the only girl(s) in ENHYPEN. This has started rumors of I-Land being rigged, especially with how seemingly neither girls talk anymore.
Both of her upper and lower lobes and her antitragus are pierced, as well as her left industrial and right helix. She plans on getting her right industrial done when her first is finished healing in a few months. She also wants to get her belly button pierced.

If she wasn’t an idol, she’d probably have a career in the medical field.

Ahhh...my soft Jikook heart
Ok, this post is going to contain Jikook speak so if you don't agree? Move on and don't come at me. I say what's in my heart and won't apologise for it.
I have been a fan of BTS and no other KPOP group since 2018. I didn't even know they existed before then. (Weird, right?) Once I fell down the rabbit hole I made it my mission to watch all their RUN BTS episodes and got into In the Soop. During my binge watching I noted dynamics between the members, fell in love with the way Joon sometimes watched the other members like a proud dad, Jin became unhinged, Yoongi showed his love for them in his own gruff manner, Hobi faced his fears and overcame them (mostly), Jimin hugged everyone into a soft love puddle, Tae stole a piece of my heart with his straight-faced candor and humour, and Jungkook - well, JK and his speech in pout mingled with a stutter just did me in. Each of these men holds a piece of my heart and I happily give it to them.
But the chemistry between JK and Jimin both on stage and away made me sit up and take notice. There was just something...something different about the way they interacted that had my radar pinging. I had purposely stayed away from all Youtube videos about ships because I know how damaging those can be. And then I suddenly had another mission. I compared the interactions between Jimin and all the members and that of JK and the other members. And still, when these two were together (which was ALL the time) it still hit different. So, there I went and visited all the Jikook pages I could find on Youtube. And my heart became putty, all soft and squishy when I saw moments on stage and off stage that I didn't pick up previously. I lived for the moments when they got lost in each other and forgot the world existed. Not to mention the couple behaviours! It gave me hope that I will one day have just this kind of connection with my soulmate one day. The kind where a gaze makes me aware that my loved one needs my touch, where his touch makes me calm down. I sense great passion between them, also kinkiness. I sense the need to be close together as often as possible - it almost feels like it becomes uncomfortable when they don't connect in some way, whether physical or otherwise. Those clips of JK calming down when JM sat down next to him or touched him in some way made so much sense. There is a fire there that has not dimmed at all over the years. It's beautiful.
Then I got to thinking of all the times when JK has a connection to JM in his music videos during this solo of his. Whether its something he wears or something he does that bears eerie similarity to JM in his own, it rocks! Even the photo shoots, looking at the similarities just makes me giggle and kick my feet excitedly. And in his latest music video Standing next to you? I don't think I'm the only one that felt it was personal for him, although he said that he did not write lyrics for this album. THAT song, felt personal. Like he was saying everything to JM. Especially the first verse. I squealed the first time I heard it!
Anyway, just had to put my heart's thoughts down, going back to my happy place where JK is back hugging JM and JM clings like a limpet to JK. I wish I could adequately describe how much joy I feel in my heart and how much softness, when I see these two beautiful souls.
I know they have travelled many lifetimes to keep finding each other because they are two halves of one soul and complete each other.

BTS Dating Series #10: Meeting The Families
Members x Reader
Genre/Rate: 18+, fluff
Summary: You and your boyfriend introduce each other to your respective families.
Warnings: None to note.
Kim Seokjin
“Are you sure I look ok?” You asked Jin, holding your hands out at your sides so that he could look you over. Jin’s parents had invited the two of you to dinner and since this was going to be your first time meeting them, you wanted to make a good impression.
“Jagi, I told you that you look great,” Jin assured you. “Just take a deep breath and relax. All you have to do is be yourself and I’m sure they’ll love you.”
“Alright,” you nodded, taking a deep breath to steady yourself while Jin unlocked the front door and let you guys inside of his parents house.
“Eomma! Appa! We’re here!” Jin called out and before you knew it, both an older man and woman were approaching the two of you.
“Seokjin!” His mom cheered, opening her arms and hugging her youngest son tightly. “Oh, it’s so nice to see you!”
“That it is,” his father nodded in agreement, waiting until Jin’s mom had released him before his father took his turn.
“Eomma, Appa, this is my girlfriend Y/N,” Jin introduced you.
“It’s nice to meet you,” you bowed politely.
“It’s wonderful to meet you, Y/N,” his mother smiled. “You’re all Jin talks about.”
“What Seokjin didn’t tell us was that you were so beautiful,” his father smiled.
“Thank you,” you murmured as your cheeks warmed up in embarrassment.
“I was just finishing up lunch, would you like to come help me?” His mother offered.
“Of course,” you agreed instantly and as Jin’s mother turned around to lead the way to the kitchen, Jin pressed a soft kiss to your cheek before gently pushing you away in encouragement.
“Good catch son,” his father nodded in approval. “She seems like a sweet girl.”
“She is,” Jin smiled fondly. “My sweet girl.”
Min Yoongi
“Ok so fair warning, my mom can be a bit...extra,” Yoongi said as the two of you made your way to the front door of his childhood home.
“Hey, if I can handle you, I can handle anyone,” you joked, making Yoongi roll his eyes. Once the two of you walked inside of the house and took your shoes off, Yoongi called out for his family.
“Hey hey,” Geumjae smiled as he walked up to the two of you and threw his arms around Yoongi in a hug. “How are you?”
“I’m good, I’m good,” Yoongi nodded.
“There he is,” his mother exclaimed suddenly as she rushed over to him and pressed a kiss to his cheek, his father following close behind her.
“Hi Eomma,” Yoongi smiled. “Hi Appa.”
“Hey son,” his father replied before looking over at you. “And who is this gorgeous woman?”
“Y/N L/N,” you introduced yourself before bowing. “Nice to meet you all.”
“So, you’re the Y/N that has my son’s heart wide open,” his mother chuckled.
“Guilty as charged,” you giggled.
“It’s nice to meet you, Y/N,” his father said.
“You as well, and thank you for inviting me,” you said. “I know this was supposed to be a family gathering and I know you guys don’t get many of those so I’d hate to intrude.”
“Oh, you’re not intruding at all!” Geumjae shook his head. “Right, Eomma?”
“Right,” she confirmed. “Besides, I’ve been looking forward to the day that Yoongi brought home a serious partner so that I can have someone to show his baby photos too.”
“Ohhh, I’d love to see those,” you chirped happily and Yoongi groaned loudly as his mother led you into the living room.
Kim Namjoon
“Look, you need to calm down.”
“I can’t!” Namjoon insisted. “I’m scared shitless.” The two of you were at your parents’ house and although things had been going ok so far, you knew Namjoon was overly nervous and that that was keeping your parents from truly getting to know him.
“Just be yourself,” you told him as you finished pouring a glass of lemonade to go with the other three glasses that were already placed on the tray that Namjoon was holding. “I want my parents to see why I love you so much, ok?”
“Ok, I’ll try,” he nodded and after pressing a soft kiss to his lips, the two of you moved to go through the sliding glass door that led to the backyard where your parents were. After you stepped through the door, you turned around to wait for Namjoon but nothing could’ve prepared you for the sight of him falling down onto the ground, causing the glasses on the tray to crash onto the pavement as well.
“Joon!”
“Oh, are you alright?” Your mother asked worriedly as both she and your father rushed over to where you were already kneeling next to Namjoon.
“I’m so sorry about your glasses,” Namjoon immediately apologized. “I’d be happy to replace them for you.”
“Namjoon, you’re fine,” your father chuckled. “I did something similar to this when I first met my wife’s parents, too.”
“Really?”
“He did,” your mother confirmed. “Maybe it’ll bode as well for you and Y/N as it did for us.”
“Maybe,” you murmured as you looked at Namjoon and gave him a small smile.
Jung Hoseok
Hearing a knock on the front door of your apartment, you rushed over to the door and threw it open, a wide smile coming onto your face at the sight of your mom and younger brother.
“Mom!” You exclaimed as you stepped forward and hugged her tightly. “Ugh, it feels like it’s been forever!”
“I know,” your mother laughed. “How are you, love?”
“I’m doing ok, can’t complain,” you shrugged as you pulled away and turned towards your little brother. “Look who was able to pull himself away from his little girlfriends long enough to come see his big sister.”
“It’s not like I had a choice,” your brother huffed as he hugged you. “Mom threatened my life.”
“Which I shouldn’t have had to do but that’s neither here nor there,” your mother said.
“Come in guys, come in,” you ushered them in, stepping aside and waiting until they had walked in before shutting the door. “Hobi, they’re here!” A few seconds and some footsteps later, Hobi appeared at your side. “Hobi, this is my mom and my younger brother. You guys, this is my boyfriend Hobi.”
“It’s so nice to finally meet you,” Hobi smiled, taking your mother’s hand and kissing it softly. “Y/N-ah talks about you guys so much.”
“It’s nice to meet you too, Hobi,” your mother smiled.
“Nice to meet you,” your brother said as he and Hobi shook hands. “So, what are your intentions with my sister?”
“Dude,” you deadpanned. “Seriously?”
“Well, Dad isn’t here to interrogate him so it’s up to me,” your brother shrugged.
“Trust me, I think Dad would love him,” you smiled as you wrapped your arms around Hobi’s.
“I’d hope so,” Hobi chuckled. “You guys should come in, though. Y/N-ah’s been cooking up a storm all day.”
“Free food? Say less,” your brother smirked before walking into the kitchen.
“Don’t stick your nasty ass fingers in my pot,” you shouted before rushing after him.
“Well, you see what I’ve had to deal with,” your mother joked, making Hobi laugh.
Park Jimin
“Are you sure you don’t need anything else?” Your mom checked after she had set a teacup down in front of Jimin. “I’d be happy to get it if you did.” The four of you were in the living room of your parent’s house, you and Jimin snuggled together on one couch while your parents sat on another.
“No no no, this is more than enough,” Jimin chuckled. “Thank you.”
“I’m sorry if our little home isn’t what you’re used to,” your father spoke up after your mother had rejoined him.
“Oh no, it’s gorgeous,” Jimin shook his head. “I actually prefer this to anything grand, really. It feels homier and more relaxing that way.”
“I’m sure it’s nothing like what you’re used to, though,” your mother added apologetically.
“Actually, Jimin’s apartment is very cozy,” you revealed. “Not too small but not too big either.”
“When I bought it, it was just me so I didn’t want to have too much space that I couldn’t fill up,” Jimin explained.
“With you being a worldwide celebrity, I’m sure you could’ve easily filled it up,” your father chuckled.
“Daddy, Jimin’s not like that,” you smiled. “Although he may be famous, he’s still extremely humble and down to Earth. If you weren’t familiar with BTS, you probably wouldn’t even be able to guess that he was a part of the biggest group in the world just from talking to him.”
“I see,” your mother smiled as she watched you press a soft kiss to Jimin’s cheek, which he returned by gently tightening his grip on your thigh. “Well, my husband and I apologize for the assumptions. We’re just a little starstruck.”
“It’s ok, I understand but there’s no need to be,” Jimin smiled. “I’m just Park Jimin, who happens to love your daughter very much.”
“I love you too,” you whispered, leaning over and kissing his lips softly as your parents watched fondly.
Kim Taehyung
“Are you sure that you wouldn’t like more kimchi?” Taehyung’s mother asked you and you smiled softly at her.
“If it wouldn’t be too much of an inconvenience?”
“Of course not!” His mother chuckled as she stood up and rushed to the kitchen.
“Y/N, you have to tell me more about that book you mentioned,” Taehyung’s father said. “It sounded so interesting.”
“Well-” you began but Taehyung cut you off.
“Appa, let her breathe,” he laughed. “You’ve been picking her brain and Eomma has been feeding her since she walked through the door.”
“Well, we can’t help it,” his father chuckled. “She’s much more interesting to talk to than your past girlfriends.”
“Thank you,” you smiled sheepishly.
“Here we go,” Taehyung’s mother said as she paced back into the room, immediately coming over to you and piling more kimchi onto your plate. Once she was done, you turned over to Taehyung and whispered into his ear.
“You know, I see where you get your overwhelming compulsion to take care of me,” you muttered. “It’s clearly a familial trait.”
“Or maybe there’s something about you that makes every person you meet fall in love with you and want to care for you?” He shot back.
“I doubt it.”
“Oh, don’t sell yourself short, baby,” Taehyung smirked before leaning over and pressing a kiss to the side of your head.
Jeon Jungkook
“So, please tell us how the two of you met,” Jungkook’s mother said. “I’m dying to know.”
“Well, I knew of Y/N-ah from school,” Jungkook began.
“But he never talked to me because he was too scared to,” you teased, making him roll his eyes.
“Anyways, after we graduated, we both ended up going to an outing with some mutual friends and once I saw her again, I took it as a sign and talked to her,” he finished. “We’ve been together ever since.”
“That sounds somewhat similar to our love story,” Jungkook’s father said. “Y/N, has Jungkook ever told you about it?”
“No, he hasn’t,” you shook your head.
“Well, I always had a crush on his mother but never said anything because I was too bashful.”
“And I got sick of waiting for him to make the first move so I did it,” his mother giggled. “So at least Jungkookie has his father beat in that area.”
“Hey, it’s not my fault!” His father exclaimed. “You were abrasive and loud!”
“Y/N-ah was the same way,” Jungkook huffed.
“It’s called confidence, actually,” you corrected him.
“I know that’s right,” his mother smiled, leaning over and giving you a high five. “Regardless though, hopefully you guys will find your happiness just like we did.”
“I think we are,” Jungkook smiled as he tightened his grip on your hand. “Y/N-ah makes me very happy.”
“You make me happy too,” you whispered with a wide grin.

so I wanna do a little trip/photo dump of my latest jeffy adventure. I may delete this who knows but for now, adventures below!
I tbh wasn't at my best during this trip, I had a bit of a not fun ocd episode while traveling and I do feel like I spent most of the trip trying to get back to my baseline okayness - so to my lovely friends and travel partners thanks for being awesome and treating me with kindness!! I really, really appreciated it 💖💖
okay now time for obnoxious trip slideshow haha
chiang rai was beautiful. we went to an insanely gorgeous garden cafe on the first day
on the second, we went to the white and blue temples

tbh by the time Jeff was onstage I'd been standing around since 2pm (he got on stage...at 10pm 😭) the things We Do for Barricade. I was soooo sweaty and frazzled by then
it was a very cool set up tho! it was a little music festival, lots of food/etc, and they lit up hot air balloons over our heads
we saw a few performers and slot machine!! who were right before jeff. finally got to see them live and ohmygod did they pop off!! at one point they were in front of us just tearing up the stage for ages, they threw guitar picks at us haha (I did not catch one lol)
and then jeff.....look we all know how that went down
but here's a screenshot of when he Looked at me the first time and i fucking realized if I can see them.....they can see me. no??? jfc i think i like super reacted, flailed backwards a bit I think. i prefer to not beobserved okay?? but anyway and that's why he came for my throat later i believe. demon
then look after jeff it was just jumpscare after jumpscare, bumping into his band member at midnight in our hotel lobby (all the musicians and sound crew were having a big drinking party on the steps of the hotel. jeff wasn't there tho) and then the next morning bumping into rasika checking out etc etc
okay some of my fits on the trip! day 1, then jeffy day and the next travel day, which ended up being the Day we followed Jeff and his team around at the airport, unintentionally
each of these in front of the cupboard nowhere near as good as jeffs lol
some of the treasures i got at the show! these are mainly bread's amazing creations. @patpran thank you so much i adore my jeffy cat stickers ;.;
also (made by another fan) the jeffy pop socket i'm screaming,,,,,should i put it on my phone..
okay now bkk!! i got a few street shots cause i love doing that
then witnessed jeff on the bts and found some cat pants
and went plus size shopping at platinum mall. i knew about the names before hand but oh my god im laughing
and then!!! bang sue junction, which is mile and apo's fav hang out spot for vintage shopping. sadly we didn't bump into them. but it was such an awesome place to explore
we also wrote a lil letter each and wrapped up some presents to send to jeff. i would like to say it takes 2+ ppl to puzzle out a thailand post box and how to put it together (and there was only 2 of us at that point lol ;.;)
okay i was gonna add more but that's heaps, i think. despite my brain being frazzled 24/7 on this trip it was a good one. thank you so much to @patpran who showed me all the cool places and was a very lovely travel partner!!! you were awesome!!!
i'm honestly so grateful i got to go, and have these experiences ahhhhh, i'm gonna treasure it (sorry post trip emo-ness) anyway i gotta get back to work now but, if you've read this far, you're a star haha <3

⠪ These include a video of Chaeri and Jungkook that is a bit suspicious, don't you think?
⠪ When she noticed that someone from the restaurant staff was filming her having her hand on Jk's face she made a shocked expression
⠪ Sis, why be surprised? You live constantly on camera
⠪ Unless you were about to do something that others should not know about
⠪ Anyway, she became smooth again after a second and moved her hand to the back of his neck

⠪ That way she tries to hold on to his coat and then retreat realizing she is being filmed makes me think (and laugh)

⠪ Who would touch her hair like that if not someone deeply in love?
⠪ We have to thank our Chaekook fan n1 Jimin for the video and the producers of RUN BTS for throwing water on them for all that time

David's wardrobe choices in Georgia's new post are divine
Indeed! I saw that post earlier today, but for those who haven't, let's get the visual up:
So much going on here, of course, from the glasses to the headband to David's beloved Paul Smith shirt. I love that his hair is getting longer again, as he looks entirely too attractive with it (and somehow managed to look like a high-fashion model during lockdown while all the rest of us looked like we'd been run over twice), and now requires the use of the headband.
I had previously thought that perhaps Crowley's headband in season 2 was the same as David's, but we can see from this BTS picture that that does not appear to be the case:
...I do wonder, however, if David had any say in selecting Crowley's headband, in the same way that he chose the purple shade of lipstick for Nanny Ashtoreth. It's fascinating to see such little touches that come from/are influenced by David and Michael in the second season--certainly more so than in season 1. That everything about Aziraphale and Crowley--their relationship, right down to what they wear--is the way it is because of David and Michael, either directly or indirectly.
But going back to the photo of David from today, it's always a delight to see him in that melted flower shirt that he seems so fond of...
(Admittedly, I'm less fond of the jacket, only because it's so muted and covers up the shirt so much.) But the glasses are possibly just the delightful cherry on top of the whole outfit, as he always looks adorable in them.
So yes, some lovely wardrobe choices from David today. Fingers crossed that we'll get to see more pics of him with that beautiful long hair...

My ask is! What is your fav trait or habits or like one thing which is particular to jikook which u adore or makes ur heart all mushy? It could be a moment or like particulr thing .
For me it is the way JK takes care of JM. In one run episode he puts the socks on JM. It was a simple gesture but damn that one moment made my heart melt, jimin sitting cutely like a baby while jk put on the socks . I repeatedly watched that clip, it is one of my fav jikook moments.
Thanks for this question anon. Here is something that makes me all mushy. This behaviour from JK makes me believe we have lost him and he ain't never coming back to us. He's too far gone... fr.
Jeon Jungkook is a man whipped.
Exhibit a) BTS at Atomix. It's a good restaurant, right? And I'm sure they had fun. Ate good food and what not? We know JK loves to eat, so I'm sure it was a good time. But when the infamous tkk photo was brought up months later JK only remembers that day because Jimin said "I'm sorry"
Umm... okay. Moving on.
Exhibit b) Run BTS episode 10. It was a continuation of several episodes where they rode on ATVs, did a bunch of shit, among them, bungee jumping and we know how much JK loves that. But his favourite thing about all of that when asked, JK said;

Exhibit c) When JK was asked what his most memorable thing about the Tokyo trip with Jimin was he says 😬😬😬
I mean....
For me this is the cringiest Jikook moment of all fucking time. I cannot watch this. I just can't. And if it comes up I watch with one eye closed because it's painful AF to witness. Especially members' reactions. Even they know JK is whipped. So Jikook go to Tokyo. Beautiful city, they moved around, they explored, even had fun on Halloween with Scream costumes and everything. They were there several days and even went to Disney where it looks like they had a blast. But this, this? Is JK's most memorable moment?! Are u kidding me? Unless "playing on his phone" is code for something else, this is whipped behaviour right there. And look how proud he is while recounting this. W.H.I.P.P.E.D i say!!

First of all, JK sounds adorable when he says this. I just wanna put him in my pocket he's so cute 🥺 But also really? I mean okay. If someone held a gun to my head and told me to prove I was Army of course I will go "lagibolala!" It's one of the most iconic BTS quotes right up there with "party party yeah, niagara popo, listen boy, etcetera" But still... Jimin owned ALL of Run Bts because of this? Really JK? Tell us you're whipped without telling us you're whipped. I can't with this guy.
Exhibit h) One of my favourite JK moments of all time. When he was asking Jimin for pork. Gosh, how is this man so macho and yet so adorable at the same time??? Istg I could listen to this all day. Someone make it my ringtone already!
Anyway, the thing that is easily missed is the fact that Jhope who was next to JK offered his pork. But JK didn't want that one. Nope. He wanted the one from Jimin who was allllllllll the way on the other side
Exhibit i) Last but not least. I already brought this up but it deserves to be brought up again. BV season 4 members in New Zealand enjoying the beautiful view. They've never been there before. Its their first time. They're all in awe. Its amazing, incredible and they all pretty much "wow" the entire time. But JK, JK is like fuck the view. Staring at my boyfriend is all the view I need
The camera keeps panning out. And JK keeps staring. What did I say? JK my dude, you are
So yes, anon JK is a man in love and he makes me go all mushy when I see him get amused by the most mundane things as long as they're coming from Jimin.
A member will do one thing and JK won't care. Won't even notice sometimes. But as soon as Jimin does that same thing, suddenly its the funniest thing JK has ever seen. Or the cutest, or whatever. To JK, certain things are "meh" until Jimin does them. Then he absolutely loves it.

he loves your reaction when he randomly pulls away when you're making out or something. he always comes back though, he just loves seeing your confused face.
would definitely send you a concerning amount of heart emojis or a moving sticker when saying goodnight, and he will not sleep until you respond. he NEEDS you to send a heart back before he gets his beauty rest.
you guys like make vlogs out of your dates. 100% bc its for the shits and giggles. they're all so random its so funny LMAOO like your gonna see "unboxing the bts dolls and playing with them (with yn!)" or like "baking a cake (gone wrong, with yn!)". he always has to specify your with him even though he doesn't do this with anyone else and literally no one else sees these little diary entries LMAO. but its okay we can just pretend they're not taking up 80% of his icloud storage
always asks you to take a photo of him. he says its bc 'you're good at taking photos!!' but its actually because he loves how he is when he's with you. he smiles 10x more with you, not only that, his heart melts when he sees your smile behind the phone. you don't know that though hehe
if he has time he would buy you lunch and bring it you at your school or where you work. he memorizes your schedule by heart. since he probably cant cook for shit, he gives his love through this! there's always a little note on the bag too. "yn fighting! love u ;)" its a bit cheesy, but you're not complaining, right?
he loves feeding you food. like especially when you're tired he loves taking care of you like this. he really really wants you to know that he loves you so much so this is one of his ways of showing it. he thinks its cute how you open your mouth tiredly and chew on your food lazily. he feels useful in these moments, and you feel cared for. he'll do this anywhere too. at a restaurant? yes, at home? yes, at a family dinner? yes. he does not care at all, he loves it so much.

I know sometimes we do things when we're not feeling very well that we regret. I know sometimes we get so far progress wise, but then we revert a little bit because the day was just too much. Sometimes we even say or do things that hurt others, even if we don't mean to, but it happens.
Just remember lovelies that that doesn't make you a bad person.
We all make mistakes. We are all human, and none of us are infallible.
You are going through so much. You are dealing with the stressors of the day, of the week, of the year, of the country, of the global climate, hell you're dealing with the stressors of keeping you and your loved ones fed, and clothed and sheltered, or maybe you're dealing with a physical ailment.
Whatever it is, you're dealing with A LOT. We all have bad days.
Making mistakes is how we grow. Give yourself some grace lovelies, you deserve grace too.

Ok so I'm literally going to a five-day desi wedding extravaganza soon, and with the summer and wedding season coming to a close, it got me thinking of how Bangtan would be at a wedding, should you happen to run into them (wouldn't that be the dream?) 💜💜💜
Kim Namjoon - The Politico
Yeah, weddings are fun and all, but when I tell you this man is starved to get into it with someone and anyone over politics, religion, art, literature, etc. He's not going to pick a fight, but will respectfully hand it to any drunk uncles that say something completely out of line (and he can do it sober). Is being eyed by mothers as a top-notch prospect for their children, so it’s no shock when you’re introduced to him and end up hitting it off😍
Kim Seokjin - The Unofficial Photographer
Will literally push the real photographer aside to take pics on his iPhone. Claims to be taking pictures of the happy couple, but half of them are just selfies and thirst traps. Somehow ends up in every single photo, stealing the spotlight with his handsomeness. Will upload a video of Hoseok dancing to Tiktok that will go viral the next day. Picks you up by tapping you on the shoulder and offering to snap a photo, and of course you fall for it 🙄
Min Yoongi - The Bacchanalian
Literally cannot survive the night without a strong drink in his hand, because listen, people are a lot. Will be found lurking near the bar, exuding a quiet, mysterious aura that catches the attention of anyone nearby, whereupon they'll probably try (and fail) to flirt with him. Turns overly affectionate when he's had too many, side hugs everyone in sight. You catch him in one of those moments, where he accidentally spills his drink on you, and you don’t mind at all 😵💫
Jung Hoseok - The Champion Dancer
You will literally have to peel him off the dance floor. He gets up and dances to every song, and knows the words to all of them. Often seen with a circle of people around him, marvelling over his spectacular moves. Takes any sort of choreographed dance assignment wayyy too seriously, much to the chagrin of his fellow wedding party members, but the performances will always end up being a banger. Saves just enough energy to ask you for a slow dance at the end of the night, and you can’t say anything but yes🕺🏽
Park Jimin - The Gossip
The way you’ll see this man at every table, talking to anyone and everyone. Why? Because this man is here for one thing and one thing only: tea. And he’s charming enough to get it out of people. Catch him spilling secrets from table to table, until eventually drama ensues and he sits back and watches it all unfold with a smirk. You confront him about the chaos and he feigns innocence, pulling you into a back room to convince you he’s done nothing wrong 😏
Kim Taehyung - The Hopeless Romantic
Literally pulls up to the wedding with stars in his eyes because LOVE!! Waxes poetic about the beautiful couple and how everything is perfect from the decor to the DJ. Snaps photos for his own wedding Pinterest board and hits up the vendors just in case. Eventually has to step out into the hall and cry because being single is hard. That’s how you find him in the hallway, the two of you lamenting over dating together, but you both leave the wedding a little more hopeful ☠️
Jeon Jungkook - The Wild Child
Weddings make him restless bc not only is there people anxiety, but he’d rather be doing something. Invests his energy into corralling the children and playing airplane with them… which eventually leads them all to go outside and start an impromptu kickball match. Runs into you when a kick goes wrong and ends up smacking into you, but you can’t stay angry at him for long 😮💨
