Erm, everybody loves a comeback story🤓☝️

I don’t think I like this, it’s not creative lmao, but whatever. Just playing around with future Riddler concepts.

Don’t think he’d go full on comic book flamboyant, but being around a certain someone will enhance and bring out those silly qualities of him more👁️👁️ I wanna see him wear his ego on his sleeve, literally‼️‼️

Also he wouldn’t need the cane, it’s just aesthetic. He likes his theatrics🤘

I don’t think his followers would like it very much though.

Bruce didn't remember ever being a child, not even…well, before. He had always been different, he preferred watching The Gray Ghost on loop rather than interacting with his peers.

He had tried, during his boarding school years, to bond with the other kids. The problem was that Bruce was very angry, and pre-teens were bastards, especially those who were the result of generations of bad decisions and born into corrupt families.

The results, predictably, were visits by Alfred to the principal's office, and several suspensions.

He was lucky to be a Wayne: he would have been expelled years earlier if his last name had been different.

Bruce looked around frantically, hoping that there was someone, perhaps one of the boy's parents, who could save him from what seemed to be an imminent disaster.

Nothing. They were all enjoying the party, leaving Bruce to his fate of childish screams and cries.

The young Timothy then handed him his book, “I can't sleep. Can you read it to me?”

“Don't you want me to find your father?” Bruce tried, hoping to get out of that situation.

“Why?”

“Well, he is your dad.”

The kid just shrugged, “He is busy. When he's busy, I can't disturb him. You're not doing anything. You can read to make me sleep.”

He was incredibly articulate for someone his age. And he had clear ideas.

Bruce wouldn't have made it out with his dignity intact, would he?

“I don't think it's appropriate…”

“Why?”

“Because I'm a stranger,” Bruce tried to tell him. He wasn't that kind of man, but he knew from his investigations that many of Gotham's elite men had questionable tastes (and he was preparing for the day he could throw them in prison), and he trembled to think what would happen if Tim was found with one of them.

“But you are not a stranger. You are Bruce.”

these are my thotz as someone who has been directly exposed to 2022 and 1966 batman within less than a month: there's a sweet spot between silly/gloomy ways to write bruce wayne, there's unpleasant extremes, and then there's the real extremes that are such weird little freaks that they make perfect sense
