Hi im Arthur. I don't really have a preference in gender and I'm curious who you would match me with on either side of the spectrum (or both).
I'm a classic horror enthusiast(think like Mary Shelly, Bram Stoker, and Poe) i also just collect vintage and antique book, my oldest was printed in 1867. The pride and joy of my collection is a First edition copy of the Silmarillion by Tolkien. I just adore being outside especially after dark. And I also like to press flowers and sew. I am actually studying fashion history in college rn. I hope to one day work in a museum.

Hey Arthur! I had a bit of trouble narrowing your matches down to one, so I included some bonus stuff at the end. Anyway, I match you with...
Elliott!
Allow me to explain my reasoning why below.
So, for Elliott, he's definitely with you on your love of literature. He definitely loves antique stuff, and will happily admire any classic literature you have or find (or just classics in general). He can and will marvel over your first edition copy of the Silmarillion. And he will marvel even more over your book from 1867 (as would I).
Elliott's also into that sort of old-fashioned stuff like flower pressing and whatnot. If you were to give him a pressed flower (either one you found from the farm or around town), he would use it as a bookmark. If you know how, you'd have to teach him how to make flower crowns, too!
I don't imagine Elliott's very good at sewing as he usually goes to Emily for help when things go wrong. But, I feel like he can mend a small tear in his jacket the crab in his pocket made. Either way, he watches you work and may or may not hint at you making him a copy of that dress shirt he really wanted but couldn't afford (maybe). He's also very supportive of your fashion ambitions and does his best to help you with your studies. He's very familiar with working the local library efficiently, you know!
As for the museum work, he does enjoy a good look at history (as long as, y'know, the artifacts are sourced responsibly). Once he hears that you want to work at a museum, he talks to Gunther about getting you even a part-time position at the library/museum in town. It may not be something grand, but at least you don't have to go far from home to get there.
The one thing I don't think Elliott's with you on is the after dark stuff. He enjoys being outside for fresh air, yes, but not at night. Don't get me wrong - his sleep schedule is abhorrent. He just doesn't like to encourage it by going outside during these nights he's awake writing. The man likes to at least pretend he's got a healthy internal clock. He'll definitely try to drag you to bed when it gets too late.
Bonus: I was considering matching you with Emily because of the sewing thing and Leah for the flower pressing, but ultimately Elliott seemed like the best match. Of course, these aren't canon matches, so you're free to decide you'd rather be matched with them anyway!

I really wish more games had an aroace option, like Stardew Valley, Fire Emblem, etc. and no need for anything romantic to progress in the game. I've forced myself for too long like allowing my Mii to get a partner and later married in Tomodachi Life, being matchmaker and getting a partner in Fire Emblem, making a family with my Sim-self because that's what expected of me (choosing turn-ons in Sims 2 was just a pain, probably then I realized that I didn't really have a "type" at all, my favorite characters in different media are all very different)... I think allowing your character to be pan and aroace are just as important even if they are on the opposite sides of the scale.

Sure! For VE specifically I guess (some of this I've done in the comic, some not quite yet)
- He was a huge, huge theater kid from a young age, but through theater discovered a passion for writing when he started writing his own monologues to perform
- He's trans, Leah is his cousin and was the first person he told. His family was barely tolerable and this partially is what spurred him to move out to Stardew Valley after Leah told him about it.
- Tangentially related to Elliott but awhile back I did start writing a short "before Zeke showed up" story where he'd just moved in and Marnie was trying to play matchmaker between him and Shane
- The cabin on the beach is his first go at living alone, which is why it's falling to pieces, half empty, and he still goes out daily on the beach in his full fancy coat. Willy feeds him seafood to keep him afloat, which he repays through writing short stories Willy can read while out at sea.
- While he's written many short stories, poems, and one act plays, this is his first go at writing a full novel
- Leah and him were very close growing up. Kel drove a wedge between them, and they've been trying to repair that relationship since she left him.

Which video games each Gnosia character would play:
Setsu: Anything with a fishing minigame. Once they’ve started it, they can’t seem to stop. They never end up finishing the actual game.
Gina: Cooking Mama. Cooking, delicious food, what more could she ask for?
SQ: Danganronpa. She’s surprisingly good at the mystery aspect, and loves the aesthetic overall.
Raqio: Something with incredibly complex puzzles that can work their brain.
Shigemichi: Canonically enjoys games with PvP. Maybe League of Legends?
Stella: Stardew Valley. She takes great care of her farm, and she may or may not be dating all the bachelors.
Chipie: Any game where you can play as a cat. Preferably a more laid-back game, though.
Comet: She’s not the brightest, so she’s not going to be a fan of anything involving strategy or puzzle-solving. Honestly, she’d probably just hang out on Roblox.
Yuriko: Probably doesn’t have any interest in games, and if she did she would never admit it. But who knows, maybe SQ could convince her to try a fashion game!
Jonas: Overwatch. Because he’s insane. He’d also 100% be a McCree main.
Kukrushka: Hitman. Sometimes she actually completes the mission as intended, sometimes she just feels like trying to take out everyone in sight.
Otome: Fire Emblem. She’s pretty good at the strategy and loves the matchmaking aspect. She especially loves fishing in Three Houses. She uses every single piece of bait in the fishing tourney.
Sha-Ming: Animal Crossing. He’d definitely be one of those people who prefers the older games, which focused less on the designing aspects and more on the villager interactions. His town is a mess with weeds everywhere, but he doesn’t care.
Remnan: Minecraft. Just for the building, though. He’d build all sorts of super complex things and then show them to Raqio.

literally no idea why I watch love is blind
it just makes me reflect on every person ive romantically been interested in, lmaoo
highschool crush, I once told an entire class to shut up so I could hear him whistling and he blushed, but I was not pretty.
online friend, who I matchmakered with someone else. He called me once and told me he loved me and then texted he was joking.
close friend, who I didn't know how to tell my feelings. We were laying in bed at a sleepover and I complimented him and he asked if I was flirting and I said no, just stating a fact. he's married now.
best friend, who I didn't want to make a move on because I valued them too much. he started dating our other best friend and they're engaged and own a house together.
friend made on bumble, they said they just wanted to be friends, i enjoyed their company too much to say no. we got coffee every few weeks and laughed. I hugged him before leaving to another country and walked him to his bus stop.
coworker, didn't see me like that. before I confessed we shared meals at restaurants and we waited for each other at the end of workdays to go home at the same time. once during a storm, he held an umbrella for me as we walked our bikes back home.
coworker, taken. drunkenly I once told him I thought he was really nice and that his girlfriend was really lucky but the texts were unintelligible. I threw up on the train ride home that night and tried to hold my friend's hand.
online friend, situationship that ended with them not being ready for a relationship. We spent hours on calls, as I listened to his uni lectures and I watched him play terraria. sometimes we just listened to each other's Spotify in silence. we had a stardew valley game together I still haven't deleted.
same friend on bumble, situationship where I realised they were in a relationship and never told me. we spoke on and off for weeks, sharing memes, and talking about our lives, but he never once mentioned his long distance girlfriend. she moved back into country and he stopped talking to me unless I messaged first.

Vanderwood would totally play Stardew Valley. They're like "Saeyoung cut the shit and let me farm in peace." GE and SE Saeran paint clouds on his bedroom ceiling and the night sky on his brother's, using glow in the dark paint for stars. Saeyoung turns an empty room in the bunker into a greenhouse for his twin, complete with artificial sunlight and one or two skylights (small ones, hidden from view outside the bunker, but enough to let the sun in and see clouds)
Vandy's room is earthy tones and purple accents that don't clash. (They totally have a Bowie poster hanging up though lol
Saeyoung is playing matchmaker telling Vandy who they should pursue to marry and manage their farm with them. 😔
DEFINITELY cloudy ceiling for Saeran and starry for Saeyoung! I bet Saeyoung would make the best possible underground greenhouse that he could, and he'd make cute watering cans shaped like cats. Also probably a sprinkler system that meows. Saeran asks him to remove that feature.
Vandy 100% has a Bowie poster and let's be honest, Bruce Springsteen too. The earth tones look suspiciously like a leopard-print pattern but don't worry about it.

Heyy! This is my 1st request I ever done omg. Got veryyyyy into stardew just 2 weeks ago and I'm already in my 3rd year in game so I just had to do the matchmaking! 😩 Really curious who you'll match me with hehe
I'm an ambivert, I can get really loud and giddy with the right people, but if not I'm normally quiet in a corner. I'm also kinda lazy kssjsk but I can work when I need to, if not I'd prefer to do listen to songs, read manga and stuff. I also like to randomly buy things that i think my friends would like, and go eat new stuff with them.

He's a quiet guy, but he's also friends with Sam, so he's chill whether you're loud, quiet, or both. I mean, man's in a band so you listening to music is very much a positive for the both of you. He gets to show off his skills and you get to vibe. I HC he likes to receive gifts and one of his love languages, so you buying him little things would have him over the moon. Words of affirmation isn't really his forte, nor is physical touch, but he'd make an effort to do those things if they made his S/O happy (and he's got a hoodie on always so they're sure to be warm). I think he canonically likes comics, so you two can bond over going to fun stores and looking at all the manga there.
P.S. he's lazy as hell too he's got you all sorted. You all have a million snacks for whenever the need arises.

so i started good omens…and i haven’t watched episode 2 yet because the website im pirating on makes it lag a lot. This is probably one of the coolest ideas for an event when starting out! I love matchmaking ones so let’s give that one a go!
So hi! I’m Tessie! I don’t have a ton of hobbies but I do love writing and cooking and baking probably the most. I’m a gamer but the video games i play are mostly cozy games like Stardew Valley but I love just sitting and watching other people play, same goes for watching sports. Even if I don’t understand all of the rules, I enjoy watching pretty much any sport. As for my appearance, I’m rather short with dark brown hair and bluish green eyes. I definitely lean pretty heavily toward cottagecore and light academia aesthetically speaking. I’d love to see who you would match me with from Blue Lock (male).

I wish there was a matchmaker setting for stardew valley. Like there’s obviously something between Clint and Emily, and if the player isn’t interested in Emily you should be able to nudge Clint into asking her out.
