- are religious, but their religion impacts them negatively
-are paranoid 24/7
- haven't slept in a while
- are physically disabled
-get violent thoughts
- are easily triggered
- have a hard time masking
-can't mask at all
-are constantly dissociated
- age regress (in this case I'm talking involuntarily)

all your stuffed animals love you. they're not sad if they're in a box, or on the floor, or not held/played with as much. they understand. they know that you might need another stuffie more, or that you don't have enough space. they're just happy to be with you, and if you ever give them away, they'll be happy there too. stuffies are for comfort. they understand. they love you too. it's okay.

hey fun fact did you know that if you're on the schizophrenia spectrum, have psychosis, have psychotic symptoms or traits, etc, that you're loved and your symptoms and traits should not be vilainized or seen as evil or ugly?

shout out to psychotic people who struggle with anger. psychotics who get angry when they’re wronged, when they're scared, when they're overstimulated, as a response to emotion. psychotics who want to hit. who want to bite. who want to hurt. who want to scream and break things. who redirect with self-harm. who struggle to keep calm and keep it together. i love you. you deserve love and care to.

I see a lot of posts about how schizospec people aren't violent, scary, cold-blooded serial killers like horror movies loooove to portray us as, but shoutout to schizospec people who ARE violent. Schizospec people who struggle with violent thoughts and urges, schizospec people who struggle with anger issues, schizospec people who have to make a conscious effort to not hurt people. I see you and you still deserve basic human decency and respect + MORE. I love you

i don't know what psychotic person needs to hear this, but it is in fact okay for you to be psychotic. it's not your fault. you're not asking for it. it's something that's occurring to you. trying to force it to stop happening ALL the time is going to drain you way too much. some days you just have symptoms and it's alright. sometimes you just have to go with the flow. you're not a fuck up if you have episodes, days, weeks, months of not being able to hold it together and mask your paranoia, intrusive thoughts, delusions, hallucinations, catatonia, confusion, etc. it's alright to just be mentally ill for a bit. i love you

Ppl who have issues with hygiene ily. Ppl who cant brush theyre teeth regularly. Ppl who dont shower for months. Ppl who wear the same clothes for days.
If all u can do is brush or shower once every few weeks or months ily. If all you can do is change into a different pair of pajama pants today ily. Or if you cant do any of it ily.
Ik ppl will be like “its not healthy to spread positivity now my teeth are rotting bc I didnt care” which I understand to some extent for some ppl but no amount of scaring me about how my teeth health will suffer is going to make me do it more, my brain quite literally can’t foresee the positive outcomes and will refuse to make it a daily habit no matter how much its barked at me over and over.
Sometimes its not something that can be helped. And its not bc I dont care or i like being disgusting or dont understand the risks I literally just cant.

Shoutout to those who have had to go through things no one should as kids/adolescents due to their mental illness(es).
BUT ALSO:
Shoutout to those who developed their mental illness(es) after their tween/teen years and had to learn to adjust to life with mental illness.
ADDITIONALLY:
Lots of love to all with mental illness who had to adjust without much or any support from others/those you love(d).
END NOTE:
Mental illness is hard enough on its own, but these conditions can make it so much more difficult.
You’re worthy and deserving of love, support, and respect even if you haven’t been receiving it.

The reason intrusive thoughts are morally neutral is not because you don't actually want to do them.
Intrusive urges and desires are also morally neutral.
And no, I don't mean "impulsive urges or desires". I mean the ones that are still disturbing but have a compulsive or alluring element to them to. I mean the way the idea of slicing my body into thin strips like a julienner is a craving that I have. I mean the way that I sometimes get a feeling like my body wants to move to hurt others around me, and I only know that I have control because I've been dealing with this shit for most of the time I've been alive. I mean the way I get turned on by thoughts of torturing people (which is where paraphilia overlaps with OCD).
I mean that someone CAN even actually want to act on their intrusive thoughts and as long as they don't, that's all that matters. People can fantasize about something and be deeply disturbed by the fact that they fantasize about it. It doesn't make them any more likely to act on it, but if it causes distress, it's still an intrusive thought.
I see a lot of posts which are like "no, intrusive thoughts are not secretly hidden desires of yours" and that's true for a lot of people! It's a good message!
But sometimes they are, and that's okay too. Sometimes they're not even hidden desires, they're blatant. But thoughts, urges, desires, feelings, anything in the head at all, are all completely amoral.
Morality only applies to actions.
If you have violent (physical, emotional, sexual, or otherwise) urges or desires, intrusive or otherwise, this is a safe place for you. You are welcome here. They do not make you a bad person and you deserve not to be left out of OCD/intrusive thought positivity.

Shoutout to people who speak "overly formally." You deserve to express yourself in whatever way feels most natural and fulfilling for you. The way you speak isn't pompous, annoying, or mockable; it's just how you communicate, and there's nothing wrong with that. Your voice adds creativity and diversity to this world, and I think that's amazing.

Here’s some positivity for schizospec systems with individualized headmates!
Not every system uses or benefits from parts language. Many systems, including many schizospec folks, view their members as distinct, individual people! Here’s to all the schizospec systems whose headmates are unique and separate beings!
🌈 Shoutout to systems whose headmates started out as hallucinations or who still are hallucinations, but function as people within their system!
☀️ Shoutout to schizospec systems whose headmates are trying to self-actualize or are making conscious choices to increase their individuality!
🌈 Shoutout to schizospec systems who work together with their headmates to function and take care of themselves!
☀️ Shoutout to headmates in schizospec systems who have embraced or are learning to live with their personhood!
🌈 Shoutout to questioning schizospec systems who wonder if their experiences make them plural!
☀️ Shoutout to schizospec systems whose headmates are delusions or whose delusions have impacted their system and individuality!
🌈 Shoutout to headmates in schizospec systems who prefer to be referred to as people!
☀️ Shoutout to schizospec systems who work together as a team and try to work through conflicts and differences together!
🌈 Shoutout to headmates in schizospec systems who have special jobs or roles that they fill for their system!
☀️ Shoutout to schizospec systems who refer to their headmates as friends, family, a guild, coalition, crew, or some other group of people!
There is no one right or wrong way to be a system, and this includes all systems of all sorts of origins and backgrounds. We’re wishing all schizospec systems the very best, and want you to know that it’s okay to view the members of your system as separate, distinct people! As long as you aren’t hurting yourself or others with your beliefs, it is perfectly fine to consider each headmate a unique, individual person.
We hope y’all can do your best to treat yourself and your system members with respect and kindness, today and every day! Know that your system will always be a beloved and integral part of the plural community just the way it is, and we are honored to be able to share this space with you all! Please don’t be afraid to be yourself and take up space in this community - we promise you belong here as long as you want to be here! Thanks so much for reading, and have a wonderful day!
