March prompts for Sapphic Microfics!

Yes! We're back! (For March and April)!

These prompts can be taken and interpreted every which way you want, including changing the tense or pronouns or order of any dialogue. You do not have to stick with what might be the most straightforward association, and every individual prompt post will include a few suggestions to get you started.

This event is open to any HP femslash ship, any era, any character, OCs welcome.

All these prompts can be combined with other events (as long as they also allow you to combine prompts)!

If inspiration strikes, you are still allowed to write for any of the previous prompts!

"Cissy..." Alice hisses, tears threatening to spill.

Narcissa hates the disappointment in her face, hates the disapproving slant of her brows, hates the expression that says she's too far gone for saving.

Alice used to look at her like she was worthy. Like she was redeemable. So much so, that Narcissa had almost believed it.

She needs Alice to see her that way again.

"But I didn't get it!" Narcissa pulls up her sleeve for proof. Her creamy skin is unmarred. "I didn't get the mark, Al."

"You may as well have!" Alice shouts angrily. "You're letting that... that maniac stay in your house!"

"It's only for a little while... Lucius says-"

"Lucius?! Why are you still letting him run your life?"

"Alice..."

The silence stretches uncomfortably for a moment too long.

"Oh, Merlin. You're never going to leave are you?" Alice's eyes are wide, staring at Narcissa like she could disappear any second.

"I- I will. I want to. I- Alice, listen, I can't just-"

Alice shakes her head, and the tears roll down her cheeks, brown eyes glistening. She gives Narcissa a tiny smile, one of resignation.

"I keep thinking you'll change, but you never do."

Narcissa's throat burns with tears, but she keeps her face cold, expressionless like she's been taught. "Al..." she croaks.

Alice leans in and kisses Narcissa, just a gentle press of lips, a token, something that she can keep for later to remember her by. Alice lingers, eyes closed to take in the moment, but Narcissa doesn't look away for a second. She desperately tries to memorize the slope of her lips, the dark flutter of lashes on flushed cheeks, the curl of hair resting across Alice's forehead.

"I wish we could have been different," Alice whispers.

Narcissa always knew that they were destined to crash and burn, she just didn't know that it would hurt like this.

Does anyone have any fic recs? I'm struggling to find anything

Preferably Dorlene or pandalily centric but I love a bit of Jegulus, wolfstar, rosekiller etc. And I'm not super fussy generally so even if you have a marauders fic you love that doesn't fit that description PLS let me know

I've read atyd, choices, the hand that Feeds, just lovers, only the brave and kill your darlings so don't recommend those (I know they're amazing trust me if I could forget them and read them again I would omg) ... But speaking of those docs if you can think of anything with a similar vibe I would probably love it (also if you are reading this and haven't read any of those yet then that's my rec for you <3, lemme know if you want more info on them)

ok so i started writing a modern non magical high school au where marlene is a popular girl (the marauders are the popular ppl obvi) on the soccer team and dorcas is a cool theater kid outcast (cringe ik) and despite the fact their friend groups hate each other they start secretly dating.

it’ll probably be very heavily dorlene-centric but with tons and tons of enemies to lovers jegulus and background hook up to lovers wolfstar, friend to lovers marylily and already established toxic rosekiller to healed and healthy rosekiller 🫶

i don't ship the majority of the sapphic marauders ships because i don't have a clear personality/backstory for them so its easy to ship them with absolutely anyone.

i ship the majority of the sapphic marauders ships because from my experience, sapphics really do tend to date their entire friend groups and their exes' exes. i generally cannot see a world where marlene wouldn't have dated every other sapphic in her year.

Dorcas/Narcissa is my absolute favourite femslash ship at the moment, and since @midnightelite asked me for some fic recs the other day, I decided to format them into an actual rec list!
