Hello. How are you? How do you find the will to live? Like I genuinely don’t know what I wake up in the morning for. I can’t think of a reason for why I’m alive. I'm currently reading a book simply because BookTok piqued my interest and it seemed like it was going to be a good read.
I was wrong.
It's one of those books that reminds me that I've read fan fiction that's so much better than this book. The writing is bland. The main character is winy. And it plays hard into the 'I don't know your language because I'm an alien and we have different cultures' trope.
But I'm committed to finish reading this book and I'll definitely tell you guys my thoughts.
And it's not a YA book.
Plus is a 'spicy' book that reminds me that I have in fact read better scenes in fan fiction. The disappointment is very clear.

I just read a 100k story that destroyed me emotionally, put me back together and left me asking for more only to find out that it is the only story that the author of that Fandom has written, it does not have any bookmarks or a Tublr that I can write to .
