You know what happy pride to the detransitioners who still identify in some way or other as "not cishet".
Happy pride to he/him lesbians, boygirls, and other people with ""contradictory"" identities.
Happy pride to aroace people, bi people and polyamorous people, along with everyone else the panderers and gatekeepers try to alienate from the community.
Happy pride to all the closeted and questioning people out there.
You're loved, you matter, and you belong, whoever you are.

ok i know everyone has done similar versions of this poll already but i just like doing polls with my own options lol so humor me. sorry there is not room for an other button!! if you have a different fav not listed just pick one of these that's your second fav and add your fav in the tags/comments 💖
also to be clear i don't mean to highlight or prioritize any specific versions of the initialism i just have limited options in polls lol and i have all the other things i want to have available as well. there are so many possible versions and iterations i simply have to limit it. i am super curious what your favorite or what your preference is! do you use the +? do you add Q or spell it out? which letters specifically do you use? do you use one T or two? what does A stand for for you? what does Q stand for? what is the plus for? do you use a U? H? 2? what order do you put the letters?
is your fave something else? have you come up with a fun or unique or uncommon term or phrase? what do you like to use?
share in the comments n tags!

Can someone please explain?
Tumblr media
Can someone please explain to me the difference between libido and sexual attraction? I tend to have a problem with mixing them up or not understanding what they mean.
I have a problem understanding what 'attraction' means. Does it just mean being drawn to someone to do [___]? So, like, sexual attraction is being drawn to someone to have sex. It has nothing to do with libido. Thus, an asexual and an allosexual can have a libido. Despite only 1 being drawn to have sex with someone.
If it does mean what I think it means, then I don't feel sexual attraction as much as an allosexual person. For fictional characters or celebrities, I feel sexual attraction for them immediately. But when it comes to real-world people, it takes me a while to get to feel sexual attraction for them (I wouldn't say it's demisexual, but it's hard to explain). And when I do feel sexual attraction, it hits hard. I lust after the person, but it goes away very quickly before going back to feeling very little attraction towards them. Would this be a libido or ace spike?

If there is anyone in Florida, particularly the LGBTQIA community in danger, who wants to flee:

"Sexual barriers are silly. My girlfriend and I swap clothes, make-up, anything. So what? It’s a shock though to read in a magazine like Bravo that I walk around dressed as a woman. They’ll invent anything."
[Martin Gore all but saying fuck the gender binary in, like, 1984.]

Queer Book List
I've just updated my complete list of LGBT+ novels ever read (as far as I can remember). Not including short story collections, comics, non-fiction, or things I've completely forgotten.
I'm not including books where a main character's sexuality was only implied (it's got to be clear on the page), and this list contains queer main and secondary characters only, not background characters that play little part in the story.
I don't read a lot of Young Adult, so assume these are all adult-oriented unless otherwise stated.
I'm not judging nor rating nor recommending any of these; it's purely a list of books I've finished.

1 indication that I might have been trans is that when I was a child I loved brushing my teeth messily so I got toothpaste foam on my face and I would use my toothbrush and pretend to be shaving my beard. I also loved having bubble beards.

WIPs of some more quilted project bags. Also featuring my new iron I had to run out to buy, which flattens things instead of spontaneously leaking puddles everywhere. 😖
