It is indeed shit
Ok, so I'm well aware this is a shit poem, but I wrote it and wanted to share
Humans define monsters so many times as other, With sharp fangs and misshapen forms, With unknowable beliefs and odd motions. But true monsters hide in crowds unseen. With no fangs and common silhouettes, With known beliefs and foreseen motions. Empathy defines humanity, And its lack, monstrosities. The most grotesque form with empathy, Is more human than anyone without. I stand alongside odd forms and beaten shapes, Not because I am a monster, But because I am human, Just as they are.

People like the idea that the opposite of bigotry is love. It's easy to believe that if hatred goes away then so will bigotry. But I am dead serious when I say that you need to be calling out and destroying the entitlement in privileged people. Entitlement is what makes people think they have the right to harm others. Hatred can mean wishing someone harm, but entitlement can mean actively perpetrating the harm. They go hand in hand, and entitlement is harder to point out and label, so we must remain vigilant in the fight against bigotry.

hey, if you watched comic relief, did you think david looked unbearably tired? he sounded near tears at times and idt it was just bcs of the charity videos
Hi there! I'm not in the UK, so I wasn't able to see Comic Relief while it aired, or any clips until now.
I didn't notice the tiredness at first, but it definitely seemed to become more visible later in the show, as did the sounding near tears. This moment (which I got from a fan on Twitter who compiled all of David's bits) in particular really got me, as it's so apparent here...
As to what could've been causing this, I think there are several things that could have been happening, possibly even all at once. Up until I got into Good Omens/David/Michael, I wasn't at all familiar with Comic Relief, but having watched the show for a few years now, there are some really striking things I've noticed about how it's structured and what it involves.
On the one hand, you have lots of famous actors and comedians and musicians putting on a show and telling jokes...and then on the other, you have emotional videos of people in dire situations, both in the UK and abroad. And because Comic Relief is live, it's much harder to build in transitions between these two things, so you end up dramatically shifting from lighthearted to serious and back, and it leaves you with a bit of whiplash as a result.
So if those abrupt tonal shifts are difficult for us an audience, they must be even more challenging for the host(s), including David. I think the live aspect of the show makes it very similar to theater and how David might have reacted in differing moments during Macbeth, because we're seeing emotional reactions in real time, without the benefit of editing. Tonight was also the last occasion of Comic Relief that Lenny Henry was hosting after nearly 40 years at the helm, so I feel like that probably made David emotional as well, given how much he has worked with and admires him.
As for the tiredness, it seems there were at least a few interviews that David did prior to the broadcast, so he was probably running around all day trying to get everything done. Then you add to that the chaos of multiple hosts on stage and everyone trying to find their marks (which seems to have been something David was stressing out about a bit in one of the interviews today), plus the charity videos, and it's no wonder that he looked so drained.
(Another thing I also wonder is if David's demeanor had anything to do with sharing the stage with Davina McCall, who was allegedly outed as a TERF last year. Given the attacks from the anti-trans loons that David and Georgia have endured over the last several months, I can imagine that he might not be comfortable co-hosting with someone who espouses such views. And for the record, there was something about Davina that inexplicably annoyed/seemed off to me long before any of the TERF stuff came to light. It seems like my instincts have been confirmed in that regard...)
So yes, those are pretty much all of the things that came to mind regarding David's demeanor at Comic Relief. He's probably been running himself ragged lately with new projects since Macbeth ended (the Genius Game hosting gig, for one, and an appearance on the SmartTV game show, plus multiple upcoming Comic Con appearances), so hopefully he can find some time to relax and breathe in between all of this, because he more than deserves a break.
I hope this helps to answer your question. Thanks for writing in! x

YOU THERE!!!!!! TUMBLR USER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tumblr media
Are YOU tired of how Tumblr treats trans people, particularly transwomen and transfemmes? Are YOU tired of how Tumblr treats people of color, particularly black folks? Are YOU tired of fandom trying to police the madeup bullshit you like to draw, write, or read about? Are YOU tired of all this fucking AI bullshit? Are YOU looking for a new online home to settle in?
Consider Pillowfort.social!
I’m not going to go into the nitty-gritty of how Pillowfort functions, because others have talked about that and explained it much better than I can (I recommend reading @/vergesm’s post here for a more general Pillowfort overview). What I’m going to do is explain what I, personally, get out of Pillowfort and why I enjoy it.
To preface, I’m not being paid to make this post or promote Pillowfort or anything. I wouldn’t think that needs to be said, but people make things up sometimes so idk. I’m writing pro-Pillowfort propaganda because I genuinely like the place and want to see it thrive. If you want to take a look at my own fort and get a feel for the place, you can do so here.
So with that out of the way – let’s talk about it!
Tumblr media
Pillowfort is quite a bit like Tumblr, in that it’s a blogging platform, but it’s got a few things that make it better than this hellsite imo. For one thing, you can post NSFW content there. Although I don’t draw much explicit stuff, it’s nice to be able to post art there without worrying I’ll get shadowbanned for a picture that’s just a lil too suggestive. It's nice to know that the option is there. Honestly, it’s freeing not to have to worry about that shit. And it’s also really cool that there’s a built-in system for marking certain posts as NSFW, because as well as being able to mark your own posts as NSFW, you can choose whether you want to see other people's posts marked as NSFW. And for minors, the ability to see NSFW content is automatically turned off. Pillowfort’s got a really good system for both allowing NSFW content and keeping it away from people who don’t want to see it. I really like that flexibility, and how that flexibility isn't detrimental to the users.
And speaking of being able to see or not see certain content, the content filtering is pretty solid. You’re able to block tags and even words in the body of a post, and like I said, you can control whether you want to see posts marked as NSFW. You can even control who sees your own posts! There’s blocking users, of course, but you can limit who sees your own posts even further than that. You can make them visible to anyone, visible only to logged in Pillowfort users, visible only to your followers or mutuals, or hell, even visible to you alone!! It’s cool to have that level of control, and I find it reassuring to know I have those options.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Another big appeal of Pillowfort, for me, is the userbase’s strong “don’t like don’t read” policy. A lot of the people there operate under the mindset of “as long as it’s fictional, whatever dude. I don’t have to like it, but you do you." There are still dipshits, of course, but it’s WAY better than the insane purity culture that’s developed here. I don’t have to worry about some wannabe-conservatives telling me I’m just as bad as Ted Bundy for [checks notes] sexualizing Michael Myers or some shit. Plus, this general userbase mindset is backed up by actual site policy! I’ve heard that Pillowfort is very swift in responding to reports of harassment – whether it’s fandom-based harassment or bigotry. I haven’t had any experience with this personally (and hopefully it’ll stay that way), but I’ve heard good things about it, and it makes me feel more comfortable being there.
Also, did I mention Pillowfort has an explicit anti-AI policy? AI generated images and writing are banned on the website, and staff made this decision once its userbase and community made it clear that they wouldn’t welcome that sort of shit. And GOD, does it make me feel so fucking good as a writer and artist to know that.
Tumblr media
And that’s another thing – Pillowfort staff actually fucking listens to its userbase. The website is crowd-funded and relies on subscriptions and monthly donations to keep things running. And because it relies on its community, it relies on keeping the community happy. So complaints, bug reports, suggestions and alterations and things the users would like to see on the site – it’s all taken pretty seriously. And again, it’s just really nice to know that the staff of the place actually give a shit and are looking out for its community rather than trying to suck the dick of the biggest investor.
Really, the only problem I have with Pillowfort is the fact that it’s a bit small. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, because the people there are lovely. But since a lot of people aren’t happy with Tumblr, and haven’t been happy with Tumblr for some time, I thought I’d just ask you guys – maybe consider it. Consider making a Pillowfort account. Consider making your own little fort, stringing up some colored lights and cool art and making yourself cozy. Consider offering some money, if you can spare it, because it’s genuinely a really cool place that I want to spend more time in and see prosper.
So far, I’ve had a lovely time there. It’s cozy and friendly and it feels like one of the few places where a queer artist like me is actually welcome. And I think a lot of Tumblr users might really like it too.
I hope to see you there! 💜

What do the Goofy Gooners look like .. asking for a friend …
Rob is a tired dad with an inferiority complex. He doesn't put much effort into his appearance because basic hygiene already saps a lot of his energy. He has reddish-brown hair that he keeps short for convenience and doesn't shave as often as he should, so there's always a thin layer of stubble. I picture him to be around 33 but stress makes him look older. He usually wears the same basic t-shirts and cargo pants—a polo would be fancy for him. He's on the underweight side because he frequently skips meals so his kids and Milo have enough. He also has random tattoos scattered over his arms plus one on his leg and neck. They don't mean anything, just dumb stuff he got when he was younger, including a winking emoticon and the Pillsbury doughboy.
Blaise is 26 and you can tell he's a stoner from the get-go. He has dirty blonde hair that he grows out but hardly maintains, and the same level of effort goes for his clothes. He often wears things he finds in dumpsters or thrift stores and chooses comfort over style. His clothes have lots of hidden pockets for lighters, firecrackers, and weapons. He's tall and lanky, which makes living out of Milo's car in the parking lot awkward (Rob offered his apartment but he declined). Similar to Rob, Blaise also has a number of meaningless tattoos plus several piercings. He also plays the guitar and keeps his lucky pick on a necklace.
Kellin is a 20-year-old originally hailing from Thailand. Their assassin parents trained them in gymnastics, martial arts, and various weaponry from a young age in hopes that Kellin would follow in the family's footsteps and join the League of Assassins. That obviously didn't work out and they traveled around as an independent hitman (hitperson?) for a couple years before they landed in Gotham. They're always battle-ready—if they could shower in their assassin uniform they would. They changed their name and keep their hair just long enough to mask their face. They're fluent in English, Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese, and Arabic, but they prefer to let their actions speak for them instead.
Molly is a 25-year-old trans woman who incorporates her jobs as a drug dealer, team strategist, and nightclub DJ in a single look. She has long dark hair dyed with neon streaks but ties it up when fighting. She's not the most formidable combatant but she has basic fighting skills and is very calculative. Her primary weapon is a metal baseball bat, inspired by her favorite anti-hero, Harley Quinn. She also has a belt equipped with her experimental chemicals and smoke pellets. However, she's not allowed to pair up with Blaise on missions because it's an open secret that the two of them can't focus around each other.
Otto is a war veteran and car mechanic around the same age as Alfred, but that's where the similarities end. He's been wearing the same mechanic's uniform for the past four decades, the only differences between then and now being his hair thinning, a couple front teeth falling out, and acquiring a beer gut. His arms are covered in scabs and scars from the job and he's had trouble with his right knee ever since the army. On the surface he seems like a Boomer yelling at kids to get off his lawn, but he's more like a stern but well-intentioned grandpa who is disappointed to see nothing much has changed over the years.
Milo is your standard 15-year-old delinquent. He's slightly small for his age and doesn't pack that big of a punch on his own, but put him behind the wheel and he's a total menace. When he's not driving, he keeps himself stimulated with video games or his collection of keychains (his favorite is purple bat because of his puppy crush on Spoiler). His look is reminiscent of early 2000s skater punks, including a bright red mohawk and his trusty headphones. Everything he owns, minus his car, fits into a single backpack. His weapon, on the rare occasion Rob lets him on the front line, is a batarang he found on the street.
Gene is someone you would never expect to have so many issues because on the outside he looks like an average 40-year-old glasses-wearing office worker. He has short sandy hair and dark circles under his eyes from nightmares. His meds help a lot, but sometimes he's still seen pacing around and muttering to himself. He's not a danger anymore compared to the past, which is why Rob trusts him enough to share an apartment. Gene focuses his nervous energy into his research and tinkering instead, amassing a comedic collection of hyperspecific gadgets.
Mac is basically the guy in the chair. He's 30 and has thick glasses, thick curly brown hair, a thin goatee, and almost exclusively wears flannel. His nails are down to a nub because he bites them when concentrating. He's also often seen with chips or an energy drink in his hands and wears a jailbroken smart watch. Of the team, he has the least physical prowess but the most brain power. He doesn't see combat often but keeps a pistol in case. He turned an old ice cream truck into his home/mobile office so he can plug in anywhere. Like Kellin, he's also not from Gotham, but instead Fawcett City and has a distinct Minnesota accent.
Booker is a 19-year-old Gotham U student and the third member of the team's Glasses Trio. He's an intelligent guy slated to graduate a year early and thus needs his internship credits sooner. He's very polite (albeit a little socially awkward) and puts his best foot forward by coming into work with slacks and fun patterned suspenders even though he doesn't have to. His hair has a slightly uneven fade because his sister insisted on practicing on him for cosmetology school, so he covers it with a fedora. He carries his things in a laptop bag and has an enthusiastic bounce in his step that only newbies would have.
Jackie and Gunner are Rob's 6-year-old twins (Jackie being 8 minutes older) and are the babies of this hodgepodge family. Jackie takes after her late mother with frizzy black hair usually tied in pigtails. She loves wearing pink, reads way above her level, and is a horse girl in that she wants one to stomp on the people she doesn't like. Gunner looks more like his dad, though his hair is a little messier and overgrown. He hates school but loves dirt and monster trucks. Both of them have a troublesome streak but Jackie's a little better at hiding it. They quarrel like siblings do but at the end of the day, they always stick up for each other.

Hey, @staff @support @wip @engineering @changes @humans it’s me again. Do you have a second? I would like to draw your attention to something.
So, you know how when you start typing in a tag, it’ll list tags to choose from based on what you’re typing in? Y’know, you start typing “star” and the list will populate “Star Wars” and “Lego Star Wars” among a few other tags you can tap on to auto-complete what you’re typing if you want? Yeah, it’s about that function.
I assumed that these tags populated based on popularity or number of uses. But when I saw some weird shit populate that read more like a clickbait article headline than a tag an actual human being had used at some point, I did some experimenting.
To preface, the tags that I'm about to list here have never once been used on my blog, and are not suggestions from my history. They are purely on tumblr's side.
Did you know that if you type in simply “I need,” the following tags auto-populate?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“I need to lose so much weight,” “I need to lose this weight,” and “I need to ⭐️ve.” Yikes. Knowing this, out of curiosity, I typed in "I want" next. Guess what I found?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"I want to ⭐️ve," "i want to cvt," and "i want to be skinnier." Again, yikes.
But perhaps this is a bit too leading. What if I just type in "I w" instead?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It auto-populates with some repeats, PLUS some more concerning shit. we got "i want to ⭐️ve," "i wanna lose weight," "i will reach my ugw," "i wanna be skinnier," "i wanna be tiny," "i want to cvt," "i want to be skinnier," "i wanna be perfect," "i will lose weight," and "i wish i was weightless."
Let's try just "i n" too, for fun.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
We get "i need to lose so much weight," "i need to lose this weight," "i need to ⭐️ve," and "i need to be weightless."
With this in mind, I typed in "ana" because I recognize all of this as stuff people struggling with anorexia have historically said on this platform. Once again, we have some concerning things auto-populate:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"ana meal," "ana bllog," "ana tricks," "tw ana diary," "ana trigger," and "ana rant."
Here's my question: how and why are these auto-populating? This kind of thing literally goes against your own community guidelines. Here's a screenshot from those community guidelines:
Tumblr media
I highlighted the text that reads "Don't post content that actively promotes or glorifies self-harm. This includes content that urges or encourages others to: cut or injure themselves; embrace anorexia, bulimia, or other eating disorders;"
I realize that monitoring tags like this isn't going to be perfect, some things inevitably slip through the cracks. But this many tags? Someone somewhere is dropping the ball.
That also leads me to another point.
I, as with many other people on this website, the self-proclaimed "queerest place on the internet," occasionally tag posts with something to the tune of "terfs do not interact" because... well, being a terf is to be inherently transphobic and anti-queer. I noticed something peculiar recently while tagging a post as such.
I'm willing to bet real actual money that the tag "terfs dni" gets used significantly more than the tag "terfsafe," so... why does the auto-populated tag list look like this when you type in "terf?"
Tumblr media
We get the auto-populated tags "terfblr," "terfsafe," and "terfism." But not a sign of "terfs dni" or "terfs don't touch." Why is that?
So, again out of pure curiosity, I typed in "rad."
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"radblr," "radical feminists do interact," "radical feminist safe," "radqueer" (which isn't radfem related but also shouldn't be on that list), "radical feminism," and "radical feminist community" auto-populate. Considering radical feminism and being a terf are literally the same thing, this is further concerning.
For shits and giggles, I typed in "lgb" to see what I'd get.
Tumblr media
Why on EARTH is "lgb drop the t" the second auto-populated tag?
Let's try just the word "gender."
Tumblr media
"gender critical" is the second auto-populated tag. Another transphobic term.
I'm sure this has nothing to do with the fact trans women can't post entirely safe for work selfies on this website anymore without their post getting flagged as mature content, or the swath of trans women who have had their blogs entirely terminated for no reason recently.
Also, interestingly enough, in your community guidelines, under the hate speech guideline, you have written "Don't encourage violence or hatred. Don't post content for the purpose of promoting or inciting the hatred of, or dehumanizing, individuals or groups based on race, ethnic or national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, age, veteran status, sexual orientation, disability or disease." You may be interested to know that terfs and other transphobes do, in fact, encourage, promote, and incite hatred of, and dehumanize, individuals or groups based on gender and gender identity.
Perhaps what you have auto-populate for tags should reflect things that are popular and inclusive on this website, not... whatever this is. If this is truly the queerest place on the internet, and you want to continue to cultivate it as such, you should probably at least act like it.
Anyway, it'd be cool of you to address these things. Toodles.

respectfully asking you to drop those trans hcs for the bllk boys!!!
yeah sure ofc i'm so glad you asked!
i'll split them up based on which NEL team they're on for the sake of my own sanity
(i don't actually hc ALL of them to be trans so i'll just mention the ones i actually have a hc for lol)
bastard munchen
kaiser - THE most trans-coded of the bunch imo. like the whole thing with the blue rose tattoo to represent "turning the impossible into reality" and "defying the natural order of things". and his full name is "michael kaiser" which can be interpreted as "god's chosen emperor". there's no way bro was given that name at birth. he's also coded to have religious trauma which would become much more layered if you interpret him as trans. he's also, interestingly enough, the only one to NOT have a metal chain around his neck on his cover. he's the only one with glass. a lot of ppl have interpreted this as him having a fragile ego, but glass can also be taken to symbolize transformation (i just pulled this from a random website talking about the spiritual meaning of glass lmao). ALSO also him being annoyed by his long hair in ness's flashback. trans. plus his insecurity concerning how good he is in comparison to (who he perceives as) cis players just screams insecure trans masc who's relying too much on toxic masculinity to affirm his gender to his peers lmao.
ness - he totally thought he would have to fight his parents on this but they were surprisingly cool with it + even helped him w puberty blockers and stuff. he still hates them for the anti-magic stuff but at least they're not transphobic?
isagi - don't ask me to explain this i just get those vibes
noa - (reporter) "what is your opinion on trans people with an unfair biological advantage in sports?" (noa, a trans man who transitioned wayy before he got famous) "i AM trans people with an unfair biological advantage in sports"
pxg
shidou - he just has bigender vibes man. japanese isn't big on third-person pronouns, but once he starts getting better at english, he'd def start collecting pronouns like pokemon cards. he figured out his identity through chainsaw man ("wow denji's just like me fr but so is angel devil but so is asa but so is-")
ubers
(i have nothing for any of the ubers. feel free to prove me wrong)
fc barcha
bachira - non-binary but he doesn't know it yet (any and all pronouns once he does figure it out)
manshine city
chigiri - peak gender, everyone confuses him for a girl. he uses masculine language, and while he sometimes acts annoyed when ppl call him princess, he doesn't bother correcting them. does anyone actually know chigiri's gender? no. does he know what it is? yes. will he tell anyone? no. he thinks it's funny to keep ppl guessing with the constant contradictions
reo - i didn't actually hc him as trans at first but the post i was complaining about earlier was dunking on this hc specifically so uhhh yeah he's trans now sorry i don't make the rules <3. his dad's company also pioneered top surgery that doesn't leave any scars which is why no one in bllk has any. like with ness, his dad is surprisingly not transphobic but he sucks in other ways lmao (but now that you think of it, his whole struggle with wanting to live a life completely different from what his parents had in mind for him IS a very trans-coded backstory)

List of bsd headcanons
Dazai:
Has bpd. A lot of his traits remind me of my friends with it
He some kind of trans. Nonbinary. Transfem. Transmasc. Idk he's megender lmao
He's described as appearing very youthful in the first two light novels. I imagine that once the events of the main timeline start picking up though, with all the time stopping or slowing abilities that *dont affect him*, he actually ages faster than the other characters. I draw current dazai with small wrinkles, which also hints at stress and stuff
Also, I imagine current dazai getting tanner as he works in the light, as well as getting more prominent freckles.
Round/doe eyes because that is part of his appearance in my opinion. Seeming unsuspecting and innocent, especially during his mafia days
Bad eyesight in his right eye from being under the bandages for so long. Saw this headcanon and loved it
Similarly, beastzai has bad vision in general
I always call No Longer Human an anti-ability in my head, fun fact
He loves to touch other people. Not a fan of being touched by others unless asked
I draw him with red eyes in color, and usually black eyes in ink (inconsistent artstyle my beloved)
Aroace spectrum
heavy sleeper. Very
Chuuya
FRECKLES and tan from sheep days
He likes to be close to other people more than actually touching. Presence over contact
That shade of eyes that changes colors in the light (but I use a grey base lol)
Also some sort of trans, but in a different way than dazai
Brownish red hair. Not blazing, not just brown
That man is AUTISTIC
One time instinctively kicked a friend with his ability active, expecting them to dodge cuz he's used to dazai easily dodging. They did, but they were SO CLOSE to getting hit. Imagine a confused face like wtf why you try to kick me
Light sleeper, but every now and then sleeps like he just learned how to close his eyes
A lot of his jokes go over people's heads because they expect him to be serious and his voice just doesn't change between serious and not serious
Ranpo
Autism plus adhd ftw
Aroace spectrum
Poe
He/they vibes
Anxiety
Gay af
I can 100% see him being into knitting. Imagine the guide plus ranpo all in matching sweaters
Loves baking. Sooooo bad at it
Lucy
Bi (with a lean towards girlies) she/it
VERY good at baking
But she won't share :(
Atsushi
Anxiety, so much anxiety
Aroace spectrum vibes
Very easily idolizes people and then gets surprised when they actually like being around him
Akutagawa
Aroace spectrum
Autism cuz he is so mecore sometimes
Very trans vibes from me
(I like to imagine him having tourettes cuz I have tourettes and I am Not projecting)
Atsushi (special kitty hearing) and jouno being the only ones who can hear some of his tics. He will be horrified that anyone notices them
Wait no actually I'm gonna incorporate that into my belief system. That's canon now
Mori
Genuinely cares about a lot of his workers, but not all of them
He gives great bonuses for birthdays
He absolutely loves vtubers if bsd were in a modern setting. Rip mori. He'd have also loved vocaloid lmao
Ozaki
Masc energy. Fem energy. Ooh I can see ozaki with any pronouns and identity
Kinda person to accidently either overpack or underpack. Always has painkillers, never has a pen
Ridiculous memory. Incredible gift giver. Would get someone something months or years after overhearing them say they wanted something once
"Whyd you get me a hairdryer?"
"You said you needed one. I saw it and thought of you."
"...that was months ago. I got a hairdryer already."
"..." *takes hairdryer back* "sorry wrong person. I don't have my contacts in my bad"
She has perfect vision
Kunikida
Trans vibes. In any and every direction
Adhd af
Will always conveniently have room in his schedule when Aya wants to go do something and needs someone to go with her. No, he's TOTALLY not frantically writing and erasing things, get your glasses updated
You can usually count on him to continue the bit cuz he won't realize there is a bit occurring

my issue with endogenic systems is that they're specifically stealing terms intended for people with did and osdd and other disorders like that. like, there'd be less issue if they had terms explaining that they felt a SYMPTOM of this disorder (which, even then, would probably be because of trauma too but that's another can of worms) but they're specifically using terms like system, alter, fragment, etc. plus the origin coining stuff rubs me the wrong way.
and then comparing anti-endos to transmeds by referring to them as sysmeds as if having a mental disorder is at all the same as being trans. and don't even get me started on traumascum ...
yeah! Endos are so frustrating like that. I mean claiming to have the symptoms of a trauma disorder without trauma is already very iffy within itself, but then going and using the terms specifically for that disorder while also claiming you don't have it??? That's like the same as non-delusional people saying "delulu" or allistic people claiming to have special interests, ect. I don't understand why everyone is so tolerant of this behaviour, they'd hate it if it was literally any disorder OTHER than DID/OSDD.
And them calling us sysmed is icky. Like what the fuck? It's like an anti-vax person calling everyone whose vaccinated homophobic or someshit. Like how dare they compare being a system and being trans, but also on top of that try claim that simply believing in the literal science of your disorder is wrong in some way?? Like sorry I believe trained professionals over your silly little carrd about how endogenous are "valid" (I'm not sorry, this is sarcastic)

hi, im kay. and I want to do a very serious post.
A large note, this post is not recommended to be read by children.
Another note, this post contains information about topics such as suicide and n*z!s.
Our democracy is falling apart in the usa. If a conservative president is elected in 2024, so many people including trans people, queer people, autistic people, neurodivergent people, mentally and physically handicapped people, and even people of color. If a conservative president gets elected the only safe people with be old christian conservative white men. If a conservative president get elected in 2024 A bill called 'bill 2025' will be released indangering trans people, lgbt people, mentally and/or physically handicapped people, and neurodivergent people. The people that I just listed will be labeled as threats to society and put in 'detention centers'. And for the people who say 'well trans people are indangering our children' no they aren't. They are not pedophiles, infact most pedophiles are old white conservative men. And no one is forcing you or you're kid to be trans, the representation of muted voices is not forcing your kid to be trans. And d.d you know that 25% of trans people altogether commit suicide? And a even higher percentage of trans kids commit suicide. And if a conservative president gets elected all trans healthcare will be gone. Do you think that's going to help trans suicide rates? At this point the government is fine with trans people and trans CHILDREN killing themselves because they are different. Plus, suicide rates are already high enough and with all the terrible bills that are going to be pasted it will only grow higher. The conservative government are trying to eliminate the people that they don't like. You know who else did that? Adolf Hitler and the nazis. So now anyone who is lgbt, handicapped, or neurodivergent is indangered to a nazi like government. People like me (A neurodivergent trans lgbt pagan minor) are scared for their life. Now their are basically Nazis walking around our cities. And im not even going to get started with the anti-abortion bills and stuff like the don't say gay bill.
And they call the United States 'the land of the free'.
please vote Democratic next year.

oh yeah totally not transmisogynistic for you to create a callout-style smear campaign against a trans woman for TALKING ABOUT TRANSMISOGYNY. the screenshots that are supposedly “proof” of “transandrophobia” are literally just pointing out that transfems experience discrimination that transmascs don’t. your insistence that she is somehow dangerous or harmful IS TRANSMISOGYNISTIC. please just THINK about what you are doing!!
So it's transmisogynistic to point out that a transfem is extremely fucking toxic as a person and is being transphobic towards a demographic that had supported her when it came down to photomatt's transmisogyny? That is not transmisogyny. She doesn't get to be bigoted to other trans people due to trauma as a "reward." Her being trans does not immediately make her not transphobic ever to other trans people.
She calls transmascs MRAs for speaking of issues that impact us (Surprise- transmascs do experience misogyny as well. You act like the instant we realize we are transmascs we don't and become immediately passing as cis.) when real MRAs hate us and consider us women. She thinks we are at fault for TERFs targeting us due to vulnerability and should be punished for it. She supports baeddels that have a history of being anti-masculinity. Tell me how that is not transphobic. It would be the instant that you swap out transmasc for transfem in your eyes, so how is it not transphobic for her to do to us? Is it not transmisogynistic to have a double standard that allows anyone deemed women to be flawless and incapable of wrongdoing or bigotry for being women while men are always evil?
Making people aware of someone's transphobia is not a smear campaign. You sound like the alt right fucks who get mad they experience consequences for racism when you claim that.
You really going to go up to bat for someone who thinks they should get a free pass on suicide baiting and says that cohost staff enforcing their own rules about it is transmisogyny? That's literally trying to twist a situation so you're the victim when you're actually the one in the wrong in the situation. Someone can be a victim and experience oppression, but that doesn't mean they are flawless or always good people.
Tumblr media
Bonus: She blames transmascs for her being ran off the site and not staff's refusal to actually do anything about the harassment and wrongful community labeling plus photomatt's transmisogyny. So she thinks transmascs are 100% the same as the TERFs that want us killed.
Tumblr media
Predstrogen, if you don't want people screenshotting your rancid transphobia and history of bigotry, stop thinking it is magically acceptable to do to other people. You're literally supposed to not be on this site anymore. Just fucking look away. I do this for archival purposes. My FP deleted xis account for you and supports all your baeddel shit. I never saw a transmasc not support you while the photomatt stuff went around. I spread the word and support a case of legal action against tumblr for the bigotry and paywalling of accessibility. You're being intentionally ignorant of the people who have supported you and then spitting in their faces. Also funny how she shows usernames from other people but not my username and more of the post. Almost as if my points here actually get under her skin and she doesn't want people coming to my blog to see the full post.

one anonymous thing a follower wants to know: when did you get into radical feminism?
Ohh I am glad someone asked haha. The truth is I was kind of a born radfem. I realized early in life that the world was deeply sexist and misogynistic. Even when I was 11/12yo in middle school, I hated makeup, cosmetic surgery, and the beauty industry in general. I was very critical of it, saying it was misogynistic, and that I was against the idea of altering our faces to fit the box of the perfect woman, to be beautiful in the sexist eyes of society. As soon as I knew what prostitution was, I was against it ; I already thought women weren't products you can buy and that prostitution and consent couldn't coexist. I was also a raging misandrist kid, I realized very young how sexist and misogynistic our society was, and how terrible and violent men were. I was already annoyed by the way everyone defended men despite everything they do. I knew what transgenderism was, but I didn't really care back then, and actually I never thought about it.
Then when I was 12 I started to read feminist things. I of course didn't read Andrea Dworkin right away, I started with smaller books and magazines, and soon enough I was reading bigger books, Simone de Beauvoir, for example. I didn't know there was several branches of feminism, to me there was only one. I knew a lot of things about feminist history, it was just kind of mixed up in my mind. I mainly focused on books and ressources about male violence, domestic violence, unpaid labor, mothers and marriage, sexual violence, and women's rights outside the West (Afghanistan, Iran, Korea...). I didn't read anything about beauty industry and prostitution at that time ; no special reason, I guess I just didn't see any book about it that I wanted to read, or almost no book. I still held the same beliefs about it, however. Bref, it was from by 12 to my 17 (and I was already the annoying and angry feminist for my family and friends).
At 17 I started to get into fandom culture, and as you know, fandom culture is very, very liberal. There I saw people totally disagreeing with me about "sex work" and the beauty industry, literally calling women who were against it "anti feminists". I started to doubt (I was very young, remember this), what if I was just a conservative after all ? I slowly became a bit more liberal, still not wearing makeup but not criticizing it anymore and laughing with "girlboss" comments at shit like "my makeup is powerful enough to destroy the patriarchy". I still hated prostitution, but started to agree that OnlyFans was a cool and easy way to make money. I started to agree with gender ideology, though it never made sense to me before and I had never really thought about it (I had a trans friend and I used her preferred pronouns and all but honestly I just didn't care enough to think about if it was right or not).
Deep down, I still held the same beliefs, I just didn't want to admit it, because I was afraid of being a bad person and because it's hard to accept that you are against things everyone support. It's easier to follow the others, and I was young and a bit brainwashed to be honest (brainwashed against, as I understood later, the evil TERFs !).
At 18, I started to read more and more books against beauty culture and prostitution. I quickly felt confident enough to accept and express my real beliefs. While I was doing so, I became more and more critical of many things in liberal politics, makeup, porn, prostitution etc... and gender ideology. I realized it didn't make sense AT ALL to me. I hid these beliefs because I was genuinely very scared of being a horrible person or becoming one. I didn't want to agree with the evil terfs, right ? I didn't want to become one of them ? But I kept seeing TRA stuff and it all seemed so stupid and ridiculous to me. Plus, I was also starting to see how misogynistic and homophobic this ideology is. For almost a year, I tried to push these doubts away, finding TRAs excuses, trying to find other explanations for their misogyny and homophobia... I was terrified of becoming a bad person. I thought, what if I am being brainwashed ? And kept reading TRAs stuff to try to force myself to believe and accept them. But the more I read, the more I realized that it was nonsense, and rooted in misogyny, homophobia, racism. It was during the time I was starting to accept my homosexuality (and by the way, gender ideology made it 100× harder. I already had a hard time admitting I was a lesbian, but their nonsense made me even more ashamed of it as I felt disgusting for not liking dicks and male bodies. It made my feeling of "damn, there is something seriously wrong with me" even more serious and deeper), so seeing their lesbophobia didn't help their case. I doubted for almost a year, until I made a post that became quickly famous (now deleted on my main, but the reblogs still exist) in which I forced myself to include trans people because I was afraid everyone would call me a TERF if I didn't.
Radfems saw it and replied, being a bit angry at me for what I had said of course. It made me feel soooo bad because I actually agreed with them but couldn't say it on main ! (My online friends of the time could see it, and I didn't want to lose them, back then). So, I didn't reply to them or just blocked them because I was afraid of myself for agreeing with them.
But out of curiosity, I read some posts in the radfem tag after this post. And what a great surprise ! There was a lot of women agreeing with me about makeup and the beauty industry on here ! I wasn't alone ! Not gonna lie, it made me feel so good. For years I thought I was alone, everyone around me didn't see any issue with makeup or prostitution, everyone around me called me crazy, paranoid, boring or stupid for criticizing these things. And now I had found a community of women who agreed with me, and were so smart about it. Their posts were so well written, full of wisdom. They agreed with me, and believed there was nothing wrong with me not liking dicks and males. What a relief and what a wonderful thing to find out. After that, I was almost ready to just call myself a radfem. My ex helped a bit, since she was gender critical.
At first, I just followed radfem blogs through my main, agreeing with everything they said and realizing that "terfs" didn't exist, and that radfems/gender critical feminists weren't evil at all. I read a lot of radical feminist books in six months ; then, around april, I think, at 19, I created this blog, fully accepting my beliefs.
Since then I keep learning everyday, about radical feminism theory and history, about other branches of feminism and their history. I read a lot of books, watch a lot of docs, and write a lot about it in my little notebooks. I don't wear makeup, don't encourage the beauty industry, I volunteer as much as I can, I try to have the most separatist lifestyle as I can, I talk about radical feminism around me (I even have my stickers! I am pretty proud of them haha)... bref, I try to actually be a radfem and not just to criticize gender ideology online.
I am so grateful and happy I found radblr and online radfems !

i just saw the movie of aristotle and dante discover the secrets of the universe and i really loved it, actually! i feel like i have seen absolutely no coverage for this movie which is too bad because i thought was a wonderful adaptation of the book with a lot of heart (maybe this is because it was released during the strike, but i don't really it's just that because even prior to the strike it felt like no one knew the film was in development). anyway, i thought the performances from max pelayo and reese gonzales as ari and dante were great, plus there was some wonderful cinematography and a nice soundtrack. the script was a bit awkward at times (i think it's quite difficult to translate epistolary stuff to screen), but i really liked how well-rounded the film felt by keeping in stuff with ari's family as well as his developing relationship with dante. and the ending made me very emo!!!!
also dante had heart-shaped sunglasses, 10/10 costuming choice.
Tumblr media
though i should mention that, similar to the book, anti-queer violence is part of the story (mentions of the past murder of a trans woman and an off-screen gaybashing you see the aftermath of on-screen), so be prepared for that if you're going to watch. (it does have a happy ending, though.)

im kinda new here to this blog, and im sorry if this annoys you but im a harry potter fan and (assuming you dont like it because of jk rowling being transphobic) im not transphobic or anything of the sort, i have lots of trans friends who i love and support. just because we like the franchise doesnt mean WE'RE transphobic too. and in your dni part in your pinned post saying that harry potter fans cant interact i feel like thats not really fair to us potterheads that are decent and fun people that also enjoy the franchise.
again, really if this is an inconvenience, i just wanted to share why i thought that part of your pinned post wasnt really fair, i hope you have an awesome rest of your day
hey anon! rising from the dead to post this lol. I have a whole list of reasons why I have that DNI (listed below) however the short answer is, as an ex-fan myself, I don’t feel safe around fans excusing her actions for the sake of nostalgia, so feel free to simply not follow me! <3
I understand your intent with this. Harry Potter was my first ever form of comfort media growing up, and it’s held a place in my heart for years.
however, looking back, Harry Potter included racism and antisemitism (one of the few canonically black characters being named ‘Shacklebolt,’ Cho Chang, those two Indian girls I forget the names off, pretty much everything about the gringotts goblins and the arc with the house elves that enjoy being slaves, which is literally the excuse enslavers used during civil war here in America), which is reason enough to not want it’s fans to interact.
JK herself is also a terrible person, which you seem to already be aware of, supporting businesses made by people who identify with the terms TERF and feminazi. again, I get that you find enjoyment and maybe even comfort in the stories. but many minorities, not just trans people, have asked for people to stop showing support of her or her series. I don’t have Twitter so I can’t back up this future claim, but I have also been told that jk takes any support of her media, even if those people who like it don’t align with her beliefs, as support of her beliefs as well
I have also been told that JK is using her money to basically be the main financial funder of transphobia in the UK (I am American so feel free to correct me on that, UK followers :])
but overall, here’s the important part: if your allyship (or inter-community support) of black, Jewish, trans, Asian, etc. people (<- at least those are the main four I see asking for people to stop supporting jk or hp) stops when you enjoy something, you are not an ally. you seem to be using your trans friends as an excuse but that does not blind me from the fact you are actively engaging in media made by someone who has harmed many minorities and refuses to acknowledge or change her ways.
I, too, have friends in the minorities effected by JK’s bigotry. I have Jewish friends and black friends and Asian friends and pretty much my entire friend group is trans. plus, I’m trans myself. and all of them that I’ve talked to about this have said pretty much the same thing: we do not feel safe around you guys, and will not feel safe as long as you continue to side with Harry Potter or JK in any way
your fandom allows racist, anti-jew, transphobic people to thrive. don’t blame me for wanting to avoid that (‘not all Harry Potter fans’ and ‘not all men’ are pretty much the same, except you have to choose to be a fan of Harry Potter)
anyways I’m not gonna talk about this anymore, I’m not really made for the discourse side of the internet. I just wanted to share my perspective, as a trans person and someone who used to be a fan since childhood, in the hopes that maybe you were just ignorant (as younger me was) to this stuff. there are a million other posts on this site and others explaining (and explaining better than I probably did) why supporting Harry Potter is supporting jk, and why even if it wasn’t, it’s still a red flag to many minorities. I hope you continue to educate yourself and put your money where your mouth is in terms of supporting trans people
(also literally what was the point of this ask? what were you expecting to happen? /gen)

The Unnecessary Lore of Three "Doctor Who" Toys
So recently I've been trying to work on collecting some more Doctor Who stuff, namely figures of each Doctor incarnation because they'd look good on a shelf. However I also started looking for 11's Sonic Screwdriver and... I have spiraled into a deeper conspiracy of an adventure never seen on screen, in audio or on paper - an adventure that could still be in the future...
Now presenting... the "Personalise Your Sonic Screwdriver Set", released in 2011 during Matt Smith's reign.
Tumblr media
You might have had this as a young Whovian! You were given three different Sonic Screwdrivers (including the 11th Doctor's own) that you could disassemble and reassemble in different combinations. It's a fairly simple concept and admittedly charming, which comes with some fun "What-If" Screwdrivers that the Doctor never used?
Or did they?
Following the success of the original set, an additional Sonic was released - the "Trans-Temporal Sonic Screwdriver"!
Tumblr media
The Trans-Temporal Sonic Screwdriver didn't just come with new pieces for you to mix and match your Sonic creation, but it even came with a backstory. "With the TARDIS trapped on Earth in a Trans-temporal schism, the Doctor finds himself at the centre of four time zones. As with each previous time the TARDIS generates a new Sonic Screwdriver for the Doctor, but this time it is created in the style of each time zone: Elizabethan, Victorian, Present Day and Future London. With additional new features including a 'wood' setting, the Doctor must try and free the TARDIS before time runs out."
Thanks to the release of this Sonic Screwdriver, we learn of an adventure the Doctor underwent unseen by the audience! Trapped between four time periods and able to beat wood, with the TARDIS at the centre of the chaos, who knows what could've happened on this adventure?!
... I mean, it's obviously just a prompt to try and encourage kids to play with the toy and have a jumping off point, BUT JUST IMAGINE THE WIDER IMPLICATIONS!!
This wasn't the only toy that carried hefty lore implications, although it was the only one released. Revealed in 2012, at the same time as the Trans-Temporal Sonic Screwdriver, we saw the "Personal TARDIS" shown off.
Tumblr media
This was ultimately never released due to a lack of interest, but the visual implications are obvious - the Doctor building a scrap TARDIS while he's unable to use his own. It's possible that this would've included lore additions to match the Trans-Temporal Sonic, seeing as they both share a similar aesthetic and it was announced to be interactive with all Sonics at that point.
Plus, they were both shown off together in display... along with one other unreleased product.
Tumblr media
See that gun? That's the "Dalek and Cyberman Anti-Time Device", scavenged together from pieces of Dalek and Cyberman with the ability to "wipe your enemies from time". Although this item was never released, it still found use eventually. In the War Doctor novel, "Engines of War", the War Doctor gained the companion Cinder. She was eventually added to "Doctor Who: Legacy" carrying a familiar weapon.
Tumblr media
Considering that they were all revealed together and were connected in some way, it could be gathered that the lore started on the Trans-Temporal Sonic would've continued onto the Personal TARDIS and the Anti-Time gun? Meaning...
These three items imply that, at some point during the 11th Doctor's adventures, the TARDIS would've been trapped in London after perhaps an attempt to remove it from time, leading the Doctor to not only take up a new Sonic during this period but also create a scrapped up TARDIS to let him get to the bottom of things.
So what's the point of all this? Nothing, it was just for fun, BUT! Imagine how fun it would be for Ncuti Gatwa to have an episode where he ends up on this adventure - trapped between four periods of history in London with a patchwork Sonic, a massive "portable" TARDIS on his arm and fighting against an enemy that's taking people out of history.
Although, looking at the toys again... They might fit Paul McGann's Doctor a bit more. If only he had a series.
