Imagine Theseus and Leta had their wedding, and Newt performed the best man duties.

Newt’s heart broke when he saw Theseus and Leta together. He was happy for them; he loved them after all. He wanted them to be happy. But, it also hurt.

Newt had loved Leta, too. He had wanted to be with Leta. But, he couldn’t. It was Theseus Leta loved in that way. And, Theseus felt the same way about her. This left Newt the odd one out. He had to let Leta go.

When Newt came home from their wedding, he sadly sang “On My Own” but with the pronouns gender-switched. He also went to his creatures and sought comfort from them.

[One-sided, Reigen has a new boyfriend]

MobRei | Mob Psycho 100 13-01-2023

1630 #mobrei where some guy tries to get into a relationship with Reigen and Mob is jealous about it, but can't really do anything about it because he doesn't want shisho to hate him (and shisho seems happy...).

Random guy obviously sees how Mob looks at Reigen, and even if shisho is oblivious to Mob's love for him, that guy isn't. and that guy also sees how much Reigen seems to like the kid, which Mob could easily ruin his attempt at wooing Reigen.

Mob really wants to ruin that guy's plan but he doesn't do it.

But he doesn't really need to because the guy shot himself in the foot multiple times all by himself.

Because he decided to make Mob his enemy.

The less he tries to be friendly with Mob, the more Reigen seems unsure of the guy.

When he tries to be friendly with Mob, it comes off as extremely fake and Reigen sees that (meanwhile Mob doesn't mind adding some hurt and sad acting, just a tiny bit).

When he sees that doesn't really work he tries to stage events and lies about Mob being the one to actually try and cause problems to create a gap between them ("He's probably jealous that I'm stealing all your attention...").

But Reigen calls bullshit on that immediately.

Mob purposefully dropping a drink or food on someone to ruin their date clothes? Mob using his power to keep someone from coming to the office? Mob *threatening someone*?

Yeah right, Mob would never do any of that.

and the more time goes the more this guy is just digging himself a deeper grave.

When Reigen talk to Mob about it (since most of it is lies about Mob himself) it's not hard to act sad, disappointed and comforting.

He doesn't fully need to act it out, some of it is actually genuine. Mob know that realistically speaking, his chances with Reigen are low (at least, at the moment). And if he's going to see Reigen date, he would at least want the person to be as nice and caring as his shisho.

Not some dickhead who tries to push people close to Reigen away from him, uses Mob as an excuse for shitty things he did and overall isn't a good person.

So when the inevitable of Reigen dumping that guy comes, he can't help feeling proud of his shisho for doing so, even more so since he has a first row to the event (the idiot decided to come to the office to try and talk it out, didn't work).

Mob can't help throwing a smug smirk at the guy when he's on his way out.

He didn't even have to do anything, that guy did it all.

And when the next day he comes back with flowers to try and win Reigen over again, the man is surprised to meet Mob near the bottom of the stairs.

He looks pretty pissed, since the teenager shouldn't have been there ("Shouldn't you be at your club practice or something?").

But he shut up quickly when the air suddenly grows heavy and thick, goosebumps raising all over his body as Mob looks down at him from where he's in the stairs. A dangerous glint in his eyes as psychic power crackles slightly around him, hair standing up slightly.

"I didn't do anything because it would have made Reigen-shisho sad and maybe mad at me," Mob says, "But now that he's dumped you and doesn't care about you anymore, I won't stop myself, you better disappear quickly or I'll be the one making sure of it" he warns him, light flickering in the hallway.

The guy decides to follow his survival instinct and runs away, never to be seen at the office ever again.

"Why did you go back out? You had just arrived" Reigen points out from where he's sitting at his desk.

"I had dropped my keys on the stairs" Mob smiles with showing him his set of keys.

"Better be careful next time Mob! It could be troublesome if someone picked them up"

Reigen tells him.

"I'll be more careful next time" Mob assures him with a soft smile, going back to his desk ready for another calm evening at the office without any pests around.

Summary: Peeta brings Haymitch bread and Haymitch reflects on the two victors that he’s mentored. Takes place during catching fire.

Prompt - Not good enough (Angst 2)

“I brought you bread,” Peeta’s voice wakes Haymitch up. Haymitch realizes that he’s fallen asleep at his kitchen table again. He shakes himself.

“Thanks.”

Peeta puts a loaf of the type of crusty bread that Haymitch favors on the table in front of him. It smells great.

“When was the last time that you ate?” Peeta asks as Haymitch tears off a piece of the bread.

“Don’t know. When was the last time you brought food?”

“Yesterday morning,” Peeta says, raising his eyebrows.

“Then that’s the last time I ate.”

“Haymitch! You need to take better care of yourself than this.”

Haymitch chews the bread and swallows. It’s as good as always. Would be better with some butter, but Haymitch doesn’t even want to consider the state of his refrigerator.

“Did you bring Katniss any bread?” Haymitch asks.

And just like that, the boy is avoiding his eyes.

“No,” Peeta says, placing a ball of butter on the table in front of Haymitch. “I’m sure she doesn’t want me going over to her house all the time and making things awkward.”

“Because things sure aren’t awkward between you right now,” Haymitch says, rolling his eyes.

Katniss and Peeta had some sort of falling out when Peeta found out that she wasn’t actually madly in love with him. Haymitch personally thinks that they could work it out if they would just talk to each other … and then he wonders to himself how he’s gotten roped into caring about the romantic doings of two sixteen-year-olds.

“Well, I’m not about to make them more awkward,” Peeta says. “I’ve already pushed myself into her life when I didn’t belong there once. I’m not doing it again.”

Haymitch sighs. He’s pretty sure that Katniss is interpreting Peeta’s avoidance of her as anger and is sulking in return. Katniss is good at sulking.

“Boy—”

“It’s fine, Haymitch,” Peeta says. “I mean, everyone knows that I’m not really good enough for her anyway. It’s better if I just let her move on with her life.”

Haymitch knows that he should tell him that it’s not really possible for him to just let Katniss “move on with her life.” They’re going to have to maintain the love story for much longer, probably for the rest of their lives. But something stops him from imparting this information to Peeta.

“Not good enough for her?” he asks, as he spreads butter on his bread. “I’m pretty sure that a significant portion of the district believes that she’s not good enough for you.”

Peeta blinks. “You mean because of the whole merchant and Seam thing?”

“Yeah,” Haymitch says, with a snort. “Because of a silly little thing like that.”

“You know that I don’t care about that.”

“Yeah,” Haymitch says. The boy has been very clear on that front. He seems almost offended when Haymitch brings it up. Even though it’s a division that governs almost all social interactions in District 12.

Really, Peeta is too good for this miserable world. Too good for Panem. Katniss is too good for Panem as well, what with the blistering sincerity and the volunteering for her sister. But it’s easier to forget with Katniss because she’s always sulking. With Peeta, it’s like the goodness just shines out of him.

“I brought you some jam as well,” Peeta says, placing a jar of strawberry jam in front of Haymitch, along with a butter knife.

“Thanks.”

Haymitch doesn’t know how he ended up mentoring two victors who are actually good people, but it sometimes gives him an uneasy feeling. As if the world is just waiting to destroy them both.

Okay one shot/prompt idea, so you know hanahaki disease and how if affects people who are victims of unrequited love but what if they just couldn’t believe it was requited So a person so hopelessly in love with their partner but they have such low self esteem that they simple can’t believe that this amazing beautiful human loves them back and so they end up developing hanahaki because even though it is requited they just can’t believe that. You’d end up getting this really depressing story of a couple so ridiculously in love with each other but one can’t believe/understand and ends up dying.

OOOO or you could do it of having a widow or something and develops hanahaki because their partner is dead and so their love is now one-sided and they end up suffering alone because nothing can fix it
