well, I can't say I expected the new chapter to feature Idia (metaphorically) going to (metaphorical) hell, getting a pep talk from his (metaphorical) Phantom brother which helps him finally move on once and for all from his brother's death, and (metaphorically) overblotting again to fight his way back out of (metaphorical) hell, only to have his darkest fear (non-metaphorically) come true when his mom goes through his computer and finds all his secret files. but I am glad it did!
also this is all a flashback for the purpose of explaining to our group what the heck is going on (whether or not any of it is getting through is another matter)

One of the first lessons Riddle learned while recovering from his Overblot was that rules can be ignored in case of emergencies, or you can exploit loopholes.
So, when NRC descended into chaos during another Halloween event (Crowley and the staff got possessed), requiring the first years to secretly leave the school and search for clues on Sage's Island, he gave Ace and Deuce a 500 page guide on how to leave campus and investigate without breaking a single rule, complete with explanations for why they were out past curfew ("The hedgehogs were sick so we went to buy medicine").
He also gave a PDF file to Ortho, in case they forgot something. But there was no need.
Ace and Deuce were just given a guide on how to break rules by RIDDLE. This was PROGRESS! They were so proud they memorized everything (and found better excuses than the hedgehogs being sick).
Also, you get this fun chat:
Possessed Crowley: So, I heard you left the school, perhaps you were looking for some artifacts?
Ace: Nah, we had to go buy some medicine. The hedgehogs were sick.
Crowley: You left school at 2 AM to get MEDICINE?!?! YOU BROKE CURFEW!
Deuce: Technically, no. To break curfew, we'd have to "be out of the dorm for no good reason while there's danger lurking about". We were out for a good reason, the hedgehogs needed us!
Ace: And there's no "danger" in your prestigious arcane school for us to worry about, right? So it's all redundant!
Deuce: And if there is some sort of threath lurking around, then we'd have to call the authorities as soon as possible! We don't want another overblot...
Crowley: But-
Adeuce, simultaneously: Moreover, the Queen of Hearts specifically declared that the wellbeing of all living beings in the dorm is of utmost importance, what kind of Card Soldiers would we be if we couldn't follow such a simple rule!!?
Crowley: ...
First years: ....
Everyone else: ....
Crowley: ....is this your doing, Mr. Rosehearts?
Riddle, extremely proud, but trying to look offended: Are you accusing me and my students of lying? The hedgehogs were sick, for your information!
Riddle, smirking: And Ace and Deuce didn't break a single rule, so YOU may want to calm down and drink your tea
Crowley, seconds before being sprayed with a potion meant to free him form the possession (Lillia is on the ceiling with two spray cans ready): Wat

Mera, what is Malleus's username in the group chat story? The chat was so delightful and fun to read!! those boys really can't stop bickering and bullying each other for five minutes (≧◡≦) ♡
Aaaa I’m so happy you enjoyed it!! In keeping with the classic “he wasn’t invited” trope twst uses for Malleus, he actually isn’t included in the group chat. He plays another role in the story. Although if he were to have a mildly humorous username, I think gargoylemuseum would be fitting.
And you’re right! The Housewardens struggle to work together even when the situation becomes dire. It’s always petty insults with them. ^^;;; poor (Name) is just trying to figure out who the villainous one is while they’re all blaming each other. Idia has fun, though. <3 maybe that’s all that matters hehe!
I should also mention there’s an idea for a spin-off to this story that involves the Vice Housewardens, in which it’s Ortho who adds them to the group chat because he’s trying to play matchmaker (by attempting to help a group of strangers become friends), but unfortunately he’s added you to a group chat full of stalkers. :( Ortho, your synthetic heart is in the right place, but everyone is crazy here. Even Trey!! Especially Trey!!!!!!

Azul is such good pred material. I’ve been brain rotting so bad the past week over this octo-man. So I wrote a bunch of headcannon things for him, sorry not sorry.
First idea, inspired from a story I read a bit ago about azul being greedy
since that’s kinda his main thing, I can imagine a relationship with him being a bit cold with him working so much, but then so heated and passionate as he’s greedy for all you’re love when he finally gets to see you again.
of course since I have a vore centered brain, I can see him pouting at you having to go do some of Crowley work on one of his days off. So what does he do? Shrinks and eats you of course.
can’t do crowmans work if you’re stuck in his soft belly. Hell coo and rub at you. Chatting and laughing the day away.
it will be safe and warm of course and he’ll let you out a few times to eat and to cuddle a bit too.
just as soon as that deadbeat grand headmaster visits it’s back into the tummy to hide away from all your worries as he has to be responsible for once.
loves your flavor and how you fill him up so perfectly. Loves your warmth and the feeling of power over another (not in a mean way, he just likes having power in general)
the twins will know when he’s hiding you away since his hand will wander to his belly as he works.
Floyd will happily poke and prod his boss’s tummy while jade will just amusedly watch and give his own jabbing and teasing remarks.
it’s all in good fun though. The tweels like you and how you make their friend boss happy!
Azul rarely does anything with you when in his octo form. But if you’ve been together long enough he might be willing to give it a try.
once he’s got his tentacles on you be prepared, he’s going to be in a bit of a bashful state as his suckers happily taste your skin.
won’t eat you in that form unless you ask. Once you do he’s happy to oblige and can even do it at a bit of a bigger size since he’s a lot more flexible and stretchy.
using all of his arms to lovingly squish and hug his belly close, murmuring how much he loves you and your taste.
just… this merman is amazing and I believe him and his eel buddies are my new vore crushes.

Cosplay Progress - Ortho
I was so confident last week that making a few more butterflies would be easy, but as usual it was much more time-consuming than expected.
The big butterfly on the front of Ortho’s face has a whopping 36 segments (?) on its wings, which I drew out on paper first before going through the same cutting, weeding, ironing, and gluing process.
You can’t see them here but I made a total of three small butterflies and the one big one. We get a pretty good look at Ortho’s face from multiple angles between the default art and his groovy art, so I think that’s a sufficient number? I sure hope it is anyway because I’m looking forward to moving on from this part and working on something else.

{ So there’s not much I really need to change in my posts for Idia. I just deleted a few in his HC tag. I’ll probably make a whole new post sometime abt his feelings towards his parents since like. I STILL have a lot of thoughts and feelings on it ofc!
I’m just glad canon showed he DOES have parents that actually care - Though it took a big hit on my brain for a moment since I had been playing Idia for well over... A good few years w/certain HC’s and such so it threw me for a curve at first.
