yall think that sam deep down knows that no one cares for him as much as they care for dean?
if he knows, was a slow realization, or did it hit him at once? maybe at one evening, as bobby smiled softly at dean, and sam was surprised to see that type of gesture in bobby, but dean wasn't. so maybe it was strange and unfamiliar to him and him alone.
did he accept it? or did he try to grow closer to those around him? never quite managing it. he is too strange, too earnest.
in those days when the world is a bit more red, and the weather feels colder than natural, he would reason to himself that it's in his blood. that he's not made to fit in with the world around him, with the people on it. he is not clean, in the biblical and literal sense of the world.
but the cruelest reason, comes from the fact that it just might be him. not the blood, or destiny, or his actions.
he is just not that loveable.
anyways, what do yall think?

#I think the question of whether physical abuse actually happened isā¦ interesting#I enjoy (in the sense that I think itās interesting) thatās itās kept vague#the scene with dean at sonnyās with the bruises on his wrist#dean says itās a werewolf. sonny who doesnāt know about the supernatural clearly assumes it was a parent#and we as the audience will never know#it couldāve been a werewolf. it couldāve been John. it couldāve even happened while he was in custody#it doesnāt matter#it doesnāt matter who the violence came from because it just filled their lives#Sam: my dad never hit me#also sam and John after being a round each other for a day: get into a fight that escalated to near violence#itās not important whether John hit them because he put them in bodily danger everyday of their whole lives#and violence is so normalised. itās not abuse. itās not beating#a little bit of corporal punishment isnāt abuse#idk I hope these tags make sense#I think Iām just rambling#my point is just that where the violence comes from isnāt really important. dean still looks like an abuse victim to sonny. Jessica clearly#assumes that Sam that had an abusive upbringing.#the outcome is still the same? John mightāve never laid a hand on them and yet...
