Koby is good, character that doesn't take too much space but still exists as a fully fledged part for the story. His connections to luffy is good, connections to garp and helmeppo is good, moral struggles are good. I never disliked this guy, but i understand why some people didn't care about him in the beginning. (opla koby is great from the get go, i wanted to pinch his face so bad. Grandparent behaviour)
But i never met anyone who outright hated this character or anything like it, he's just a freaky baby

I like the idea that fruitwani are either like real world crocodiles and hunted for luxury leather goods — or they’re like domestic pigs or sports dogs where the little babies are high end pets but are typically tossed asides as adults
Like that having a bunch of bananawani is Crocodile’s rich person charity cause or something. Like politicians and celebs who get really into rescuing pitbulls or greyhounds. Some public statements about how bananawani are GREAT pets but NOT for beginners and theyre so smart and loving why would you make one into a handbag????
Yeee They're definitely hard to manage for any beginner or owner that doesn't want to understand their behavioural patterns. They maybe look evil like they want to kill you, but gators just have that resting "imgonnakillyou" face that's all

They trot on the line of being a one piece character with funky features and that one standard "anime pretty face"

I shouldn't entertain this but..if buggy was gregnant.. wouldn't it be like a kinder egg with two sides or a nesting doll situation? After 9 months he just splits in two and like "get out of here" and pulls out whatever clown spawn he had inside.
