Jaune: *Watching over a set of heavy duty fishing poles* Thanks for reminding to take my motion-sickness meds, guys. I almost forgot them in the excitement.

Sun: *Sitting on a deck chair, brewski in hand* Hey, no problem my guy. We all got a little excited.

Neptune: *A face on a Wide-Scroll that's hanging from the cabin wall.* Yeah, weird how that happens.

Sage: *Standing with Jaune, minding the poles* Still, it's great to just be away from everything for a bit. Just us, the water, the fishing poles...

Scarlet: *On the upper level of the boat* A large boat approaching fast!

Sage: And large boats approaching fast... Wait what?

A larger vessel is making a beeline for the Raging Sloth. Before long it pulls up beside them.

Sun: We should... should we be worried?

Jaune: *Sharing a look with Ren, who slowly nods* Yes. Yes, we should probably be worried.

Yang: *Standing on the deck of the larger vessel (The Dolphin Puncher) in swimming trunks and a most flattering bikini-top, a straw hat sits on top of her wild blonde locks* You guys thought you could just go out to sea and NOT invite me?! A Patch-girl born and raised? I was fishing long before I started punching! And I started doing that before I could properly walk.

Jaune: *Trying to find a way out, looking at the rest of the guys* Well... it might...

Ren: *Placed his bicorn on top of Jaune's head, has fled deep into the boat's cabin*

Sun: *Finding the fishing poles very interesting*

Jaune: Traitors. It might have slipped our minds our little. Say... who's also there with you?

Ren: *Muffled noises of a barricade being erected*

Nora: *Heading into the cabin* Oh ho ho, I do like a challenge.

Jaune: Right... And the rest is there too, right? Weiss paying?

Blake: *Already on The Raging Sloth, wearing a form-fitting diving suit with the front zipped down, she's watching the fishing poles with Sun* These waters are renowned for their tuna. I was never not going to join because of that.

Ruby: *In swimming trunks, Menagerie-patterned shirt and a Patch Strikers Cap* Our dad's got the local record for most fish and biggest fish caught back home. Imma gonna get those international prices, buddy!

Jaune: Well, it's lovely of you to be here, I guess. Uhm. Where's Pyrrha?

Yang: Oh yeah... she's hyping herself up.

Jaune: What's that supposed... to... *Sees the last person appearing next to Yang*

Pyrrha: *In a red and green patterned bikini that accentuates each and every curve of her perfectly toned body, her brilliant long red hair freely cascading down her back, has a shy but radiant smile as she greets Jaune* Hello, again.

Jaune: *Blinks once, twice* Oh... Hello to you too.

Various noises of various levels of excitement rang out that day.

No-one was allowed, nor had the intention of entering the captain's quarters. The noises scared everyone, but Ren was congratulated afterwards by all the guys on board.

Sun caught the biggest tuna, it was lost to the greedy, hungry belly of one Blake Belladonna who "Regrets nothing!".

Ruby caught the biggest tuna that the rest managed to keep Blake away from.

Weiss did not catch a sunburn, surprising everyone including herself.

Jaune did not get motion-sick, also surprising everyone.

Pyrrha finally got her hands on her knight. The knight is still somewhat confused but happier than ever.

For Hikaru Sulu:

1) Okay, first off: Which version am I submitting? Prime timeline (TOS) or Kelvin timeline (AOS, also known as the reboot movies if you're not in the fandom)? The answer is both. Prime Sulu has the more iconic fencing scenes (and is also said to have other sword related abilities) while Kelvin Sulu is canonically gay. Specifically as a tribute to George Takei btw who played prime Sulu in TOS and is famously gay and an LGBT+ rights activist among other causes. The picture provided is prime Sulu but if you've only watched AOS, feel free to vote for him anyway.

I'm not gonna link any videos here since that would probably exceed the scope of the propaganda section but clips should be pretty easy to find. And if you can't, just trust me: The TOS fencing scenes are amazing. The AOS one is probably fine too but it's been ages since I've watched it and I forgot it even existed so it can't have been THAT memorable.

Fun fact: George Takei initially didn't know how to fence and didn't find out he'd have to until pretty late and started taking fencing lessons only three weeks before the filming of that episode (The Naked Time) and apparently "became so out-of-control and boisterous that he had to be separated from the rest of the production personnel, for their own safety" which, in context of what the episode is about, is just absolutely amazing. Truly iconic.

Anyway, considering Star Trek is an important part of queer history (I'm only half joking) you need to vote for Sulu, we all know George Takei is an icon, make the right choice here.

🟤Mars-Uranus conjunction has gained a reputation for being very impulsive and quick-tempered natives when it comes to acting or arguing, as the natures of the planets are spontaneous. The reality is that there is another facet of this aspect, this is that the natives can overthink the movements they did at some point in their lives or the ones that they plan to do. Despite the instinctive quality of the planets, Uranus is still a very rational and mental planet as well as nervous. These natives can be more deliberate than they are given credit for. Pour some Wine

Yo Ho and a buddle of rum. Now let's leave the rum with the crew. But a sip of wine is a must. And that's where the captain comes in. Because a few sips poured on the deck not only calmed the ship but was also an offering to Neptune for a good and happy voyage. There is also the variant of pouring the wine into the sea. But that can make the ship jealous, so pouring it on the deck is the best option. Because no one wants the wooden lady to become a fury.

Throw a coin

What also works is to simply throw a small coin overboard. This is also considered a sacrifice to Neptune and serves to ensure a happy voyage. By the way, Neptune doesn't really care what the coin is worth, so a penny is also fine.

Stir your tea

But let's go below deck and have some tea. But don't stir it with a fork or knife instead of a spoon. That invites misfortune aboard.

Aubrey, may I trouble you for the salt?

The same applies to the serving of salt. You remember the part in Master and Commander where Jack told about Nelson asking him for the salt? Well, he wouldn't have handed it to him directly. Because that brings bad luck. To avoid that, the salt had to be passed clockwise to the person sitting next to him until it reached where it was needed.

Let's jump ashore for a moment and take a quick look at our fishing colleagues. Equally auspicious was the method of salting the nets to attract the fish and if the nets were cast in an odd number, a good catch was assured.

• so Logan knows Kendall and Duncan had a thing right?

• if I remember correctly, Veronica helps Duncan escape with his baby, but she pretends she doesn’t know anything. So I’m not sure if their argument/breakup is part of an act or not

• ok yeah I think she’s faking it

• wild how when Lamb comes to arrest Veronica for helping Duncan escape with the baby (like how does he even have proof of that?) Keith just stares at her. Like he thinks she might be involved and is having his doubts about her innocence.

• I really wanna know how Duncan stole the baby from the hospital or wherever and managed to escape the country without being noticed…

• every time Celeste is on screen I get such a visceral reaction

• it’s absolutely insane Veronica is acting so calm and like she doesn’t know anything about Duncan’s disappearance when she in fact does and helped commit a crime. Like that could never be me, I’d be shitting myself.

I liked this episode a lot. Veronica and Duncan are very clever in this and literally manage to elude not only Sheriff Lamb (not hard to do) but also the freaking FBI. Like I have to keep reminding myself these characters are 17 years old because most people regardless of any age can’t do that. (I know it’s a TV show, but still).

I’m wondering if Duncan tried to get custody of the baby would he have succeeded? His wealth (well his parents wealth) combined with the letters of child abuse from Meg, possibly would have been in his favor but at the same time, a.) Celeste didn’t want him to be a dad nor her a grandmother, so she probably wouldn’t have helped financially, b.) those letters to CPS from Meg don’t specify that it’s her parents abusing her sister and c.) courts usually favor a mother or woman when it comes to custody. So I understand why he wanted to run away but as a single dad on the run, he isnt going to last long, unless I’m missing something and Astrid decided to run away with him?

The confrontation with Keith and Veronica was so upsetting and uncomfortable to watch. Veronica is his life and if anything happened to her, his life would be over. That being said, I love every scene (and I mean every scene) between those two. They absolutely nail the father daughter relationship. And despite Keith no longer trusting his daughter, I still remember their relationship between them being generally good?
