For the Anon who sent me a personal ask on how they became a Jimin bias, you asked me not to post it so I won’t, but much of what you said I relate to a lot, for the rapline especially. Jimin is too hot, too intense, too kind, too pretty, too masculine, too feminine, when his voice goes high it’s *too* high, when it’s gritty it’s *too* gritty, too metallic, too everything. “Sorry,” Taehyung snickered and picked up his phone. “Mae, it’s five in the morning. Come back to bed.”

“I’m not tired,” she said, putting her phone back into place so that she could use its light. “You should go back to sleep though. You’re the one who sang and danced on stage for hours. And you need your rest for tonight.”

“You are tired. Even from across the room I can see that.” Taehyung sighed, turning on the lamp beside her.

“Why did you turn on the light?” she poked out her bottom lip and pouted while he sat in the chair next to her.

“The dim light from your screen isn’t enough for whatever it is that you are doing.” Taehyung scrunched his eyebrows when he saw the piles of candy, photocards and other trinkets. “What are you doing?”

Mae went back to her sorting, ignoring the amusement in his voice. “I’m going through all the freebies that ARMY gave me at the concert.”

“Why…why do most of these have Jin on them?” he asked, sifting through the cards.

“Because he’s my bias.”

“I’m the one who you married, shouldn’t I be your bias?”

“Drunkenly married and nope.”

Taehyung put a piece of candy in his mouth and continued to look over the stuff on the table as Mae sorted. One of his eyebrows shot up in curiosity when she quickly put a card on the bottom of the pile.

“What was that?”

Mae slapped his hand away when he tried to move the other cards to see it. “Nothing. Shouldn’t you be going back to bed?”

“I will in a little bit. Now what are you hiding?” This time he was quicker and grabbed her wrist, stopping her hand. “Is this a shirtless edit of me?” he asked, examining the card. “What does it say on the back?” Taehyung squinted, trying to read the english, on the back.

Mae pulled her arm away from him and went back to her task. “This wrecker can wreck me anytime.”

Taehyung choked on his saliva, “Does that mean what I think it means?”

“If you think it’s implying that they want to be fucked senseless by their wrecker, then yes.”

“Am I your wrecker?”

“No, Yoongi’s my wrecker. But my three best friends thought it would be funny to give me the bag with your card in it.”

“I’m not sure if I believe that.” Taehyung said, leaning back and crossing his arms.

“Tae, I’ve seen you shirtless plenty of times. You’re even shirtless right now,” she pointed.

“Is that why you haven’t looked at me longer than two seconds?”

She could tell he had a grin on his face without even looking. “That’s one of the reasons, yes.” She said truthfully.

“One of the reasons? What’s the other reason?”

Mae sighed as she sat back in her chair and made eye contact with him. “While I was laying in bed trying to sleep I got to thinking. And the more I thought, the urge to become a petty bitch grew inside of me.”

“Well that’s a side of you I’ve never seen before.”

“Tyler found out about the annulment and about what happened in Jeju, which means he weaseled his way into somebody's trust. Knowing him, he’s sitting somewhere with a drink in hand and a stupid grin on his face. He thinks he won. He thinks he’s made the world around me crash like I did his.”

Taehyung held up a finger, stopping her. “You’re not the one who made his world crash. It was his own fucking fault.” he said and then motioned for her to continue.

“I want so badly to wipe that smile off his face.”

“And how do you plan on doing that?” Taehyung leaned forward, placing his elbows on the table.

“By showing him that this,” she motioned between the two of them, “wasn’t a drunken mistake.”

“But it was…”

“But he doesn’t need to know that. I want him to second guess everything he found out. I want him so pissed off about our happiness that he fucks up, worse than he already has.” Mae straightened up and placed her hands on the table.

“Say no more.” Taehyung said, standing up.

“What are you doing?” Mae watched in confusion as he walked to the bedside table and got his phone.

“I’m going to call my lawyer and tell him to get rid of the annulment.”

Mae ran over to him, stopping him from dialing the number. “Wait, are you sure you don’t want to discuss this more first or wait until we know more information? It was just a suggestion and a kind of fucked up one if you think about it.”

“Nope, no take backs. You said that you wanted to stay married to me. I understand what it involves and I’m ok with it.” Taehyung kissed Mae on the forehead causing her to stand frozen in shock. “Get some sleep, Wife. Tomorrow we start life as a happily married couple.” he said over his shoulder before entering the bathroom and closing the door.

Mae took a deep breath and gave her bodyguard a reassuring nod before the two of them stepped out from the safety of the backstage area and headed toward the suite where her friends were. Today, instead of coming to the venue with the women, she came with Taehyung and the other members. The pictures of her from last night were now all over the internet and everyone agreed it would be safer.

She and Taehyung were brought into an emergency meeting this morning to discuss everything Bighit had found out so far. The information they’d gathered was both good news and bad.

The pictures of Taehyung leaving the house were posted on a known stalkers site. The ones of Mae at the concert on the other hand took a little longer to find, but they ended up finding them all online posted by fan sites and ARMYs. They were one hundred percent sure Tyler hadn’t taken them.

The next set of information made Mae’s stomach drop. Tyler was in Seoul, he’d arrived the day after she landed in California. Which meant when he saw her at the airport he was on his way to South Korea. The asshole was a creature of habit and loved to post his travels on Instagram. Mae didn’t even know he had one, but the security team at the company was smart. When Jimin and Jungkook told them about the threats he made almost three years ago, they kept an eye on him, just in case he tried something. After Mae went to them for help, they became even more cautious of him.

Taehyung was storming out the door and on the phone with his father the moment the two of them were shown a picture of Tyler outside of Mae’s apartment building with the caption “Sorry I missed you.” The company reassured them that they’d checked the cameras and he didn’t get in. But that didn’t matter. Once Taehyung returned to the room he let the man on the screen know that his father would be calling in a few hours and he was going to need help moving Mae’s things out as soon as possible.

“I knew we should’ve moved you out when Jimin moved last year.” he huffed, closing the laptop.

“Tae, it wouldn’t have mattered. That address would’ve been leaked too.” Mae said, trying to calm him down some. Him being upset wasn’t helping her nerves any. Just the thought of there being a chance she could’ve run into Tyler if she hadn’t left for California made her want to vomit.

Taehyung leaned his head back and let out a frustrated sigh, “What does this asshole want?”

“He wants me scared, he wants me to come back begging for him to stop.”

“I wasn’t…” Taehyung’s features softened when he turned his head to look at her.

“I know,” Mae placed her hand on his shoulder and stood up, “You weren’t intending for it to be an actual question. But I needed to say it outloud for myself.”

The women once again left early, but this time it was to avoid the crowd. They were taken through a private exit where an SUV was waiting to take them to a restaurant where they would celebrate the two successful shows with the guys and some of the crew.

“I’m calling it now,” Veronica handed Mae her phone so that she could use the camera to fix her makeup. “Because of this plan, the two of you will find yourselves tangled in the sheets very soon.”

Mae rolled her eyes and tried to keep the phone steady as the car moved. “What makes you so sure?”

“Because there is already this massive ball of sexual energy between the two of you. And if you two are going to play husband and wife, it’s going to eventually pop.”

“She’s right, Mae. I don’t think you realized just how much more physical the two of you are actually going to have to be when coming up with this plan,” Kimberleigh piped in from the back seat.

“Or emotional,” D added, “You’ll have to let your guard down. All those feelings you’ve had for him-”

“I don’t have feelings for him,” Mae protested, cutting her off.

D snorted, “Okay, just keep telling yourself that. But in order for Tyler or anyone else to believe it, they need to see the emotional and physical connection you both have.”

“So, no more death stares or avoiding,” Veronica said, pointing her brush at Mae. “Tae is going to enjoy the hell out of this,” she laughed. “If he holds your hand, you hold it back. If he puts his arm around you, don’t you dare smack that man.”

Mae tossed Veronica’s phone in her lap when they pulled up to the restaurant. She knew what this plan would involve when she made it. She knew she was going to have to put down all her walls and let her true feelings for him show. But she was scared. Mae knew that Taehyung wouldn’t intentionally hurt her. But even after three years, the scars from Tyler were still fresh. Deep in her brain the warning sign with ‘all men are just like Tyler’ was still flashing its bright red letters.

The women followed behind Mae’s bodyguard as the hostess led them to their tables.

“Good evening, ladies.” Namjoon greeted them.

“How the hell did you beat us here? We left while you were still on stage.” A confused Veronica asked.

“We had your driver take the long way.”

“You’re such a smart man, Mr. Kim Namjoon.” Veronica said, making everyone laugh when she pinched his cheek.

“Why don’t we all have a seat so we can eat?”

Mae's eyes found Taehyung who was standing next to the table with his hand out for her. She rolled her eyes and chuckled at his gesture before taking his hand.

“You really are enjoying this aren’t you?” she asked.

Taehyung pulled her close making it look like he was placing a kiss on her temple, “The person who took the pictures of me leaving the house is here,” he whispered.

Mae turned her head to look at him, “Are you sure?”

“Yes, she’s the one in the light blue dress by herself.” Mae glanced in the direction that he nodded. Five tables away was indeed a woman wearing a light blue dress with her phone perfectly placed so that it pointed at their table. “She somehow found out we were coming here.” Taehyung cupped Mae’s cheek and brought her attention back to him. “A member of our security already talked to the manager, but they wont do anything about it because she’s a paying customer.”

“So act like she’s not here? And put on our best acting skills?”

Taehyung’s smile grew and he kissed her on the forehead. “It’s time to act like you’re madly in love with me.”

“She’s already madly in love with you.”

The two of them turned their attention to Kimberleigh who was standing behind Mae.

“Is she now?” Taehyung’s voice was full of amusement.

“I am not.”

Kimberleigh rolled her eyes. “You are too. Now will you both please sit down? I’m starving and you’ve got a show to put on.”

This time it was Mae who grabbed Taehyung’s hand and pulled him into the booth with her. The remainder of the party strategically sat around the table, giving the stalker as little view of the couple as possible.

Mae laughed when she looked up from her menu and caught a glance of the woman over Hoseok’s shoulder. She looked angry as she moved her phone around, trying to get the perfect angle again.

As the evening went on Mae found it easier to relax and let her flirty side take over after a couple glasses of wine. It didn’t faze her when Taehyung put his hand on her leg, mindlessly rubbing her thigh while they chatted away with their friends.

However, just as everyone was ordering dessert, when Taehyung put his arm around Mae’s shoulder and leaned across her to talk to D, Mae realized just how much effect he was having on her body. She found herself taking in his features, she could feel her heart beginning to race and her breathing grow heavier. Taehyung must’ve felt the change in her too, because before he moved away he looked at her with a flirtatious smile.

I’m going to patiently wait for MH ch54 because I’m still processing this last chapter!! After reading all the comments, literally ALL the comments! My head is spinning at all the possible scenarios everyone is coming up with 😵‍💫 It’s incredible how everyone took that argument scene with JK and Y/N differently, at this point I have no idea what’s going to happen on this camping trip or how she’ll even convince Yoongi to go on the trip or if she even succeeds to convince him and I’m kind of thrilled about that. I just want to enjoy the story as you tell it without trying to figure everything out.

Mimi, I know you get this a lot but I just want to reiterate that you have a true talent with writing. The way you have us all so captivated with this story is astonishing to say the least. I hope you continue to thrive with your craft, wishing you only the best. Truly, thank you for allowing us to escape reality through your stories when life becomes hectic 🫶🏼

Oh yeah, so many scenarios! It’s very fun to read them and speculate, it’s so interesting how everyone’s mind works differently! Just like you said, some readers took the argument differently as well and it definitely works like that with – I’d say – each scene! I’d be amazed and sometimes even shocked how everyone takes different scenes/situations in the story 🫣

namjoon and hobi are my biases and as for bias wreckers my official choice is jin (!!!!!! no one bias wrecks like jin bias wrecks) but also i'm happy to say i share yoongi with the girlies like one would share a braincell <3 custody wise, i get to call him my bias on the first wednesday of every month and the last saturday and sunday <3

which member I’d fight (& why)

my main pick would have to be jimin. out of all the challengers i have chosen thus far jimin is the most scrappy, the most petty, the most likely to hold no bars, and the idol with the most Unhinged Ferality™ to give me true, seasoned battle experience. he would be the least likely to forgive me for whatever transpired between us in the fight, but that simply makes him a more worthy challenger. my only upper hand in such a battle would be that, upon upsetting jimin, he would tap into all the anger he could possible feel — currently, retroactively, and preemptively — and such fuel is so overwhelming that i would be able to set someone marginally annoying in his path and hope that he thoroughly exhausts all that energy on them, before ever reaching me. while this might seem like too convoluted a choice to be advisable, consider that i would be able to indirectly take out my own anger with whatever soul i bring into our crossfire, and that fighting jimin would offer a strategic challenge that i haven't seen the likes of, thus far. furthermore, i think jimin deserves to sucker punch someone and i want to be there to witness it.

however, if we are to stick to verbal battles and jimin is otherwise occupied, i would have to choose jin as a close second. he would absolutely annihilate me, but i just might get pity friendship from perhaps one (1) of the other members who saw this go down (given that i am careful with how i choose to instigate this fight), and also i would be effectively humbled for the rest of this life and the next 12, which is perhaps something i deserve, after choosing fights based on the chaos of it all.

another moment for me to tell you "we are going to be here all day," i can (and did) wax poetic about BTS because there is just so much of them — to love, to be in awe of, to respect — too much to wrap your arms around and just sit with the knowledge of. not to give in too much to the delulu, but BTS is just so comforting. there is always something to connect to and be swept up by. their music is so expansive, with so many genres and so many themes, and there's a song for everything. no matter where i am at, there's a BTS song for that! and beyond that, the members are all so genuine in their love of music and so ridiculously talented and dedicated to their craft, and they are so humble in their fame and influence and just seek to spread such respect and light, and i'm overwhelmed by them. i've said this to you before, lindsay, but i'll say it again, BTS is so awe-inspiring and all-encompassing that they are more than just an ult group — they are an end in and of themselves.

To the anon who asked about getting a Yoongi lyric tattoo - do it! If it’s something you care about and you want it to be a part of the beautiful life tapestry that tattoos can represent, go for it! I’m 26 and only have a few tattoos so far, but one of the ones I’m getting at the end of the month is a lyric from Epiphany because it’s the song that first made me want to love myself and it is so important to me, and Jin isn’t even my bias (he do wreck me tho 🥵😮‍💨)

Tattoos are so personal, and if you want a favourite lyric as a tattoo, go for it! Who cares what anyone else thinks? We’re here once. Hi BMT! I'm a taekooker. I know it sounds like it's going to be bad, but hear me out.

I started supporting taekook because I couldn't choose a bias in bts. So it was taekook. And then I discovered the actual taekook Fandom and I just? Wow? And like I understand. I get the fantasy where you don't want your idol to end up with a female that's not you. So you ship them together. And I'm a taekooker. But taekookers really have gone too far.

Recently I've been seeing these edits on YouTube. Overanalysing JK's playlist (something about him listening to this gay artist? Means he's gay?) And then the thing with Tae's twitter post just.

So get this, they say that this is definitely proof. Like them supporting the LGBTQ community means they're gay and in love. And I just. I guess I wanted to out it out there? Somehow? The fact that just because they support LGBTQ doesn't mean they're gay.

And at one point, I thought taekook was real cause of all the overanalysing (that was a real low point). But now I just think we're all delusional. Mostly the taekookers.

I mean, what if they're all just normal bros who maybe flirt sometimes. I know, I know. Highly unlikely. BUT maybe. What if. You know? What if we're just seeing things that aren't there?

ALSO ALSO on another note. Yoongi in the recent Run BTS dance video just. Pure freaking art.

It's funny, I know someone who had a similar dilemma when she first discovered BTS. She liked both Tae and Jungkook, but she couldn't pick one and I told her there's no need to choose 😄 No one imposes a limit. But her direction into the fandom was different cause she liked them separately and at some point, the Wooga squad became more interesting. And then she left kpop and moved on to greener pastures. Would I call her a taekooker because those two were her biases? Yes and no. I do think that an affiliation to a ship can be used when someone likes the ship, be it in a friendship/dynamic sense or romantic.

I appreciate you sending me this ask. It was interesting to read about your journey and how you see your two biases. Despite the problematic things taekookers do (including today with the tagging of nsfw art to friends of Tae), they also do engage in the same practices as any other shippers, from the youtube analysis, to the playlist analysis from which they draw conclusions towards the guys' sexual orientation. The methods are all the same, the story and content is different. I see this happening everywhere. I personally like JM and JK, but you can imagine how I rolled my eyes when I saw jikookers saying Jungkook's music must be related to missing Jimin because he was away or in the hospital. It's a reach, specifically when the arguments are based on such little "evidence" that is mostly based on speculation.

The thing that separates shippers are the big narratives they construct, while at the same time they have similarities due to the methods I mentioned above.

Not everything is an evidence for something else, not everything is a sign, not every time they hang out together must be a date, etc., especially when it's not used contextually. I think that's the main problem I see, which you pointed out as well.

Of course the possibility of just seeing things that are not there is quite high, simply because, as fans, we don't have access to their entire life. We only know what they allow us access to know. So, that should be kept in mind.

And on a last note, I think Yoongi biased wrecked everyone this year. I love his glow-up. Not that Yoongi didn't always make victims wanting to either marry him or sue him, but there's something else here. I can't pin point it, but I love it. He's feeling himself, more carefree, more in tune with his fashion style. And that hair 🥵

OK i’m adding on to your discussion post queen! Im OT7 and I am DEF a hoe when regarding BTS so i had to think a LOT about this. I feel like I would have a love SQUARE with Hobi, Jimin & Jungkook!

1. Seokjin & I would have too much of sibling type of banter and even though he’s fine and I’d hit ;) in real time it wouldn’t go past platonic relations (which i’m fine with)

2. Yoongi (MY BABY) in all honestly he’s my best friend’s bias soo maybe thats why I can’t see it any other way than platonic lmfaooo but in all seriousness I think we’d be great friends

3. Namjoon 😫 this ones hard to admit but I’D CRUSH SO HARD ON HIM but ion think he’s see me anymore than platonic like he’d friendzone my ass so hard

4. Taehyung and I would have a yoongi and seokjin dynamic mixed! Like again i’m OT7 and if any of em were down its a wrap 😚 but i feel me and tae would be the best of friends

NOW MY DELUSIONS START HERE: Hobi and I would have tension LIKE DEADASS WE PROBABLY THE MOST COMPATIBLE (based on zodiac & MBTI yes i looked don’t judge 😜). And when it comes to me and Jk I feel like our personalities definitely match and we would compliment each other a lot!!! namjoon: LOWKEY YOU GAVE ME ANXIETY BC I AINT EVEN THINK ABOUT THE POSSIBILITY OF GETTING FRIENDZONED BY HIM LIKE HES SO SWEET AND KIND AND OBLIVIOUS YOU’LL LITERALLY BE IN LOVE WITH HIM AND THEN HE’LL TELL SOMEONE YOU LIKE HIS SISTER LIKE THAT IS HUMILIATING but! in my experience i get along quite well with ENFPs so i have hope like i FOR SURE would be romantic with him but now i’m second guessing if he would like me back 💀

seokjin: 😭😭😭😭😭 i’m literally in love with him but we would be platonic bc we the same person like we both can’t be chaotic unserious emotionally stunted homebodies like it just wouldn’t work in all actuality

yoongi: idk WHY it’s different with yoongi bc it’s almost the same position as seokjin but it’s like the slightly different approach to life he has makes me think there would be romantic vibes with him like that whole “i believe in the power of negative emotions” thing he got going on kinda sexy idk if either of us would ever GO for it but we’d be on the same page at one point at least

hobi: <33333 romantic 100% genuinely feel like i would end up with him like i’m black and he rocking wit us so i’m rocking wit him he i could bring him to the cookout nd wouldn’t have to tell him a thing he’d just fit in so well and then like he’s just got this hint of sadness in him you can see nd i’m not even an emotional person but i would take such good care of him and he’d do the same like we would have such a deep connection

jimin: now this is almost the same situation as hobi and according to MBTI he’s like my most ideal match and i see it sooo much like he’s evil and a little mean but also so sweet and kind and he’s been wrecking me so bad lately but i think the problem is we both dom leaning 💀 like someone got to give up control nd idk who would so maybe platonic but like there’d be mad tension there
