Part 1
Sawamura Daichi loves to dress up your cat with small articles of clothing. Bow ties, little vests, and his favorite a mini police officer cap. He even keeps a small picture of Officer Meow with him for the occasions that he has to deal with small children. Your cat is an honorary member of the police force with their own miniature plaque.
Your poor cat is teased by Matsukawa Issei. Gently tugging their tail, putting his finger in their mouth when they yawn, and his personal favorite the laser light. Don’t worry though, your cat gets revenge by using his long legs as a scratching post, laying down with their butt in his face, and running off with his bedroom slippers.
Hanamaki Takahiro is a stay at home cat dad. Of course that’s not all he is, but that’s what he cheekily tells people. He even designed a whole cat room with shelves on the walls for your cat to run across. Once he started posting videos online of his interior cat design, he started getting paid requests for tutorials. You two and your fur baby have a very comfortable life all thanks to your kitty.
Your cat is a regular on Kozume Kenma’s channel. He even has a special cat bed next to his set up on his desk with a special camera so people can watch your kitty’s reactions. Your cat follows his avatar on screen and will meow demands. His followers enjoy interpreting those instructions for your man to follow. Even if your cat just sleeps, they still steal the show.
Futakuchi Kenji and your cat judge people together. Their favorite perch is a seat by the window where either your cat sits in his lap while he scrolls social media making snarky comments or they stare at your neighbors. You’ve had a few complaints that it’s disturbing but it’s worth it to come home and see both their faces looking out the window. It’s both hilarious and endearing.
Ushijima Wakatoshi has trained your cat to do simple tricks. He even took a video of your cat obeying simple commands like sit, and roll over to show his teammates when they didn’t believe him. Now your cat is a hot conversation topic for the Adlers. You aren’t sure if your kitty will jump through hoops like he wants, but it’s adorable to see your giant of a man try to bribe your fur baby.
Bokuto Kōtarō meows back at your cat. You have no idea what they’re saying but it’s a frequent occurrence to enter a room where the two are holding a conversation in cat language. Apparently, your cat informed him when their birthday is so now you can celebrate it. The two of them are adorable wearing tiny party hats.
Ojiro Aran and your cat work out together. He lets your cat choose his music by holding out his phone with various playlists on screen and they listen to whatever the cat touches. Your cat’s favorite is sit up’s, kitty perched on his knees and gets a little nose boop every time. He even got a little harness to take your kitty running with him. Your fur baby ends up being carried but it’s still cute.
Sakusa Kiyoomi has always had a thing for lint rollers. That only exemplified after you two got together. Yet, he treats your cat like an actual baby. Always brushing your kitty, trimming nails, wiping eyes, giving baths (to your fur baby’s chagrin), and kissing their little head. Of course, every cuddle session is followed by him furiously attacking himself with aforementioned lint roller. Your kitty has the best hygiene of any cat ever.

seijoh road trip ¡!
(bc i’m on a super long car ride right now)
let’s start with seating arrangements (assume they’re in an suv or something bc those maniacs would not be able to fit in anything small)
iwaizumi’s driving (i don’t think this needs an explanation)
matsukawa’s in the passengers seat. always. he’s the oldest sibling so therefore the front seat is his god-given right, sitting in the back is just too foreign for him
(he’d also put together a pretty nice playlist for the trip let’s be honest)
kindaichi’s also usually a front seater (when he drives w his family), but with anyone else he prefers the very back row. it’s nice and secluded :)
plus he always sits next to kunimi, and kunimi needs the seclusion
speaking of needs, yahaba gets car sick ridiculously easy, so he needs to be next to a window so he can have easy vomiting access
like actually, the slightest bump or turn will make him throw up.
watari’s right there next to him (he’s the only one sane enough & versatile enough to handle being in the very center of everything)
oikawa’s sitting behind iwaizumi, partially to be a helpful navigator and partially to annoy the fuck outta him
makki’s in the third row. i don’t have much to say about this, he’s just chill. you could put him on the hood of the car and he’d be all “this is cool man”
kyoutani’s in the trunk lol
he’s a trunk guy?? he’d sit back there with his dog and enjoy being away from everyone (plus he kinda hates the feel of seatbelts, they’re too constrictive)

kunimi’s blasting music/white noise/anything into his earbuds the entire ride. he NEEDS his shit to be charged because he’s not about to listen to people talking (read: arguing) for hours on end
kindaichi’s always the one who had to go to the bathroom immediately after they leave the rest stop

when everyone falls asleep iwaizumi likes to listen to true crime podcasts
the only thing is, watari is physically incapable of falling asleep in cars (i am projecting) so he just has to listen in horror as a narrator describes the most gruesome, bloody murders he’s ever heard
they accidentally left kindaichi behind once at a gas station (it was only for 5 minutes, but he sobbed uncontrollably)
after that they made sure to do a head count at every stop
every half hour oikawa will get bored and make them all play games like i spy, 20 questions, truth or dare (mostly truths), etc.
cue kyouhaba crawling over the seats to beat the shit out of each other during punch buggy
kunimi’s splayed over kindaichi for half of the trip
so hanamaki will be having a conversation with kindaichi and trying so hard to ignore the fact that kunimi’s head is in his lap and the former is combing his fingers through the latters hair
oikawa switches out to drive so that iwaizumi can sleep for a bit, but ends up screaming at some dumb crap another car did and is banned from the wheel (road rage oikawa supremacy!)
kyoutani’s the “are we there yet?” person. every ten minutes he’ll ask how much longer until they stop
when they do stop, he’ll just go run a lap or two. then come back ten times happier than before, he just needs to stretch his legs !!
mattsun will look up fun facts about each place they visit to entertain everyone :) he’ll be very “dad”-ish about it, like “woaahh, listen to this kids” and “jeez louise that’s a cool little nugget of information”
(we need more dorky matsukawa he’s a total fucking nerd sometimes)
he likes to recline his seat all the way back just to piss yahaba off (he moves it back upright but only after making the second year say please)
yahaba practically falls to the ground when they pull over at rest stops. everyone will go get food/water and pee and he’ll still be kneeling on the pavement holding his stomach when they get back
(when i said the guy gets car sick i MEANT CAR SICK)
in between podcast episodes, iwaizumi will look back at all his sleeping teammates (and a mortified watari) and just think about how much he loves his friends :))

Makki x m!reader
You could remember when it started, before it had just become a habit. Whenever the team had to load into the bus, you would sit beside Hanamaki. For practice games, for tournaments, whenever it was time to sit on the bus, you would ask Makki to sit with you. You would sit beside him in the gym too, often laughing as he showed you memes on his phone.
When you got the position as the team manager, it was an accident. You’d been dragged to see a practice game by your cousin, who attended the opposing school, and overheard a couple of the other boys in your class complaining that Oikawa was missing. You’d seen him a minute ago flirting with his fans, so without thinking about it, you did what you’d always seen Iwaizumi do, grabbing a ball and chucking it at the back of the boy’s head, “Oikawa! Dumbass, your team is waiting on you!”
“Y/N-Chan! You’ve been hanging out with Iwa-Chan too much!” The brunette whined, but when you turned around to head into the gym, you saw your fellow third years laughing like it was the funniest thing in the world even though Oikawa’s fan club was glaring at you. Iwaizumi had been the one to approach you initially, and you had said no. You didn’t want any part of Oikawa’s fan club being up your ass because you’d be the only non player around the team constantly. Matsukawa was next, just a few days later, and you told him you’d think about it. Hanamaki came last, just over a week after Mattsun, and you hated it. You could never say no Makki, ever since you became seat mates in first year. If he needed a pencil, your notes, anything. But similarly, he never said no to you. You’d asked him for favors before, and he always agreed, sometimes before even hearing what the favor was. So you finally caved.
The first time you needed to get on the bus, Oikawa had called out to you, “Y/N-Chan! I saved you a seat!”
“I would literally rather walk there, Oikawa.” The third years snorted as the captain whined, before you turned to Makki, “I can sit with you, right?”
He looked a little surprised at first, but he was teasing by nature, “You don’t want to sit with the pretty boy?”
You just grinned at him, “But if I sit with you, then I am sitting with the pretty boy.” Mattsun had almost doubled over with laughter as you boarded the bus, leaving a shocked Makki behind.
That’s how it went every time. You would always ask him, and maybe it was giving your crush on him away, maybe you were being too obvious. But you were always hoping it would pay off in the long run.
As you were gathering the stray volleyballs at the end of practice, headphones in place, you were passing by the doors. They were left open, and you could hear the third years talking, Mattsun’s being the first you picked up on as your playlist changed songs, “You’re probably gonna sit with Y/N again, right?”
Without thinking, you paused the music, holding your breath, you heard Makki hum, “I don’t know.”
Iwa snorted, “You always sit with him.”
“He always asks me.” Makki defended, “I just don’t say no. I used to sit with Mattsun before he joined, remember? Don’t make it weird.”
You moved away from the door, pressing play on your music and going back to picking up volleyballs. You felt a little stupid. You’d believed that Makki agreed because he wanted you to sit with him. Not just because you were asking.
You didn’t hear the way Iwa and Mattsun teased him about the way he always hoped that you’d ask him.
The next day, you loaded everything up onto the bus before settling into a seat next to Kindaichi, who looked concerned before glancing around to see if your usual seat mate wasn’t getting on the bus. When Makki and the third years climbed on, you could see the surprise that littered their faces, but you just forced a smile, “Hey guys! I’m gonna talk to Yutaro about his serving, but if you need anything, let me know!”
“Uh- o-okay, Y/N.”
During the practice game, whenever they would break for water you would pass them out, starting with the third years, and end with Kunimi. The opposite order you usually went, leading to you sitting next to the first year, and this time the coach noticed.
“What did you boys do to offend Y/N?”
“Nothing, coach!”
The coach just hummed, watching you for a minute before going back to his clipboard, but he left the third years spiraling at the thought.
You did it again as the team loaded the bus to head home after the game. You had just dropped into the seat beside Yahaba when you felt a hand on your wrist pulling you to your feet, “Wha-“ You landed in the next seat back, Makki beside you with your wrist still in his grasp, “Makki, what the-“
“Stop it!”
“Stop what?” You snapped back.
“Why didn’t you ask me to sit with you?” He was almost whining- you almost could have confused him for Oikawa, “You ask me every time. I even- just-“
His hands flapped uselessly at his sides, “You even what?”
He sighed, almost a pout on his face, and you had to resist the urge to kiss it away, “I brought snacks and stuff for us to share, and I saved all my best new memes to show you today.”
“You sent me memes all last night.”
“But I saved the good ones for today! So I could see you smile in person because it’s not the same over the phone and-“ Makki froze, his eyes wide.
You felt your face burn, “You wanted to make me smile?”
“Psh, duh, we have a very strong bromance.”
You gave him your best deadpan expression, “Okay. I’ll be sitting with Yahaba now.”
“No! Come on, please don’t make me say it. Oikawa will never let me live it down if he hears.”
The voice immediately calling out behind you made Makki bury his face in his hands, “Makki, just say it! If you can’t tell Y/N-Chan, then someone else will and you’ll miss your chance.”
The boy beside you groaned again, “Okay! Okay, I’ll do it. Stop eavesdropping.”
Mattsun snorted, “Literally impossible on a bus, but go off, I guess.”
You turned back to glare at him, “Zip it, meme lord number two.” He sputtered indignantly about being number two while you turned back to Makki, “What is it?”
The pink haired boy looked more nervous than you’d ever seen him, and you’d seen him panicking over games and exams no matter how laid back he usually presented himself. He squeezed his eyes shut…kind of looking like he was hyping himself up? You were a bit confused when he finally opened his mouth, “I was hoping we could phase out the bro part of our bromance.”
You cocked your head to the side, hearing his best friends choke on laughter behind you, “You’ve had months to plan this and that’s the best you could come up with!?”
“Shut it, Mattsun!”
“I’m confused.” You answered, catching his attention again, “Just yesterday you said you only sat with me because I asked you.”
“You heard that?”
“Yes. Which is why I was trying not to bother you today. But is it really so annoying to sit with me?”
“Oh dear god,” Iwa grumbled, “Y/N, what do you get when you take the bro out of a bromance?”
“Two people that are no longer bros?”
“For fucks sake, the word itself!”
“Oh! Roman-“ Your brain skidded to a halt, you hadn’t wanted to let yourself hope that he was even interested in guys, let alone interested in you. You could hear Iwa groan a ‘finally’ as your face flushed a deep red, almost as deep as Makki’s. “You…you like me? Like that?”
“Ha, yeahhh. I’ve been trying to, like, figure out if you open to guys, ya know? I wasn’t sure if that’s why you liked to sit with me, or if you were just more comfortable with me than the others, or-“ His brain stopped processing words as you pressed a kiss to his cheek.

iwaizumi, oikawa, and makki look at matsukawa in disbelief. makki is the first to recover. he wraps his arm around the taller boy’s shoulder.
“who knew you were such a flirt,” the pink hair boy grins at mattsun.
mattsun’s face was flushed a dark red, “i didn’t mean to. i don’t realize what i had said until after i said it!”
this causes iwaizumi and oikawa to chuckle.
“she’ll be fine, a little flustered but she’s fine,” oikawa smiles at his teammate.
“i didn’t mean to make her uncomfortable,” mattsun sighs, looking between oikawa and iwaizumi.
oikawa gets up, closing his laptop in the process, “let’s go get some things from the store to get your mind off of it. i don’t have anything here to share” oikawa walks out of his room.
“i think that’s a great idea,” iwaizumi says as he follows behind him, a smirk resting on his face.
“it’s not that big of a deal oikawa,” mattsun frowns.
makki smiles, pulling the middle blocker out of the bedroom, “come on! it’ll be fun!”
the group of boys head out the door and to your house instead.
you were playing a game on your laptop when you hear knocking coming from the door downstairs. you check your phone and see it was almost ten o’clock at night. furrowing your eyebrows, you make your way to the door quietly.
just as you make it to the door, the knocking happens again.
“i know you’re home~” you can hear the smile from the person on other side of the door.
“what are you doing here oikawa?” you pull the door open, “i thought you-“
slamming the door shut, you squeal.
“that’s no way to treat your guests [f/n]!” oikawa shouts through the door. “we came to hang out!”
“besides, you said we should meet each other in person cutie!” you here makki speak. no sooner than he finishes his sentence do you hear the sound of someone hitting him followed by a soft “ow” from makki.
“i’m sorry about him and i’m sorry about what i said earlier. i didn’t mean to make you uncomfortable if i did,” mattsun apologizes through the door.
this causes you to freeze. he’s hot and polite? you could die right on the spot.
“we can leave if you really want us to,” iwaizumi speaks up. as much as he’s enjoying watching the stupidity go on, he didn’t want to make you upset.
you take a deep breath and open the door slightly.
on the other side, the boys look between one another. makki shrugs and makes his way up to the door only to be stopped by matsukawa grabbing his arm.
“we’re not coming in until you tell us it’s okay. use your words princess” mattsun calls out to you.
“it’s okay, really,” you speak softly, taking a step back from the door to give the group more room to enter.
iwaizumi and oikawa clap a hand on matsukawa’s back, urging him forward. the middle blocker pushes the door open and takes a steps inside.
“hi,” you manage to breathe out.
“hey,” he offers you a small smile.
you’re so going to kill oikawa the next time the opportunity arises.
bonus:
“so, is she single?” makki whispers to the other two males he was standing with.
oikawa and iwaizumi look between each other before turning their attention back to makki.
“what’s it matter to you?” iwaizumi glares at the boy.
“oh, c’mon don’t you think they look cute together?” makki grins, looking at you and mattsun.
“they could be terrible for one another,” iwaizumi crosses his arms over his chest.
“or… they could be perfect for one another~” oikawa throws an arm around iwaizumi.
iwaizumi pushes oikawa’s arm off of him, “let them do this on their terms,” he looks between makki and oikawa. “you two shouldn’t get involved.”
if only iwaizumi remembered who he was talking to.

This is such a cute idea! I’m addicted to making weirdly specific Spotify playlists so this is perfect. I have an ✨eclectic✨ music taste but my favorites are usually bedroom pop (mxmtoon, chloe moriondo, khai dreams, etc), romantic classical (think Debussy and Revel), and indie (although I like some Megan Thee Stallion, AC/DC, Nirvana, etc when I’m hyping myself up). As far as my personality goes, I’m pretty insightful and like to support people whenever I can, even if I don’t know them well. I can be a little chaotic sometimes, but I like to think it’s a chaotic good. I love tea, blankets, philosophy, deep conversations, the outdoors, and writing. I’m also an INFP and a Taurus :)

kinda sad. i don’t care how unemotional he might act, everyone has shit that brings them down. PLUS HES A PISCES THERES NO WAY HES NOT SAD SOMETIMES. this song just really taps into insecurities for him, and the song just gets under his skin in like a very therapeutic way. also “because he’s a pisces” some of his emotions are super intense so the “because he cares too much” line hits him fuckin hard

this is some shit he listens to more with his team, absolutely. no doubt they blare this shit during weekly practice. but, he really really likes the song. so, when you’re hanging out and he has the aux? it’s one of the first ones he puts on. you two jam to it together. he’ll come up w dumb little dances to fit with certain lyrics (stole some of them from oikawa and hanamaki, but he won’t tell you)
