The thing w the silly "no one does anything on this site" poll post that makes it so funny is that people TALK on here like they do things and then just...don't. And it's fine to not do things! But when someone who has never had sex talks about being a slut or someone who does not interact with their local lgbt community in real life calls themselves a "queer elder" it's just funny to me idk. Not just the "no one does anything" site but the role playing site. But instead of pretending to be a kickass centaur you're pretending to have an offline social life.

"I mean, I'm definitely gay in spirit, and I probably could be bisexual. But I'm married, and I'm more attracted to Courtney than I ever have been toward a person, so there's no point in trying to sow my oats at this point. [Laughs] If I wouldn't have found Courtney, I probably would have carried on with a bisexual lifestyle. But I just find her totally attractive in all ways."

Stealth doesn’t help the trans community. I'm not saying we have to be an activist, wear a t-shirt announcing our trans status, but we have an obligation to help advance the human rights of the trans community we belong to
These viewpoints, while I can appreciate them, tend not to recognize the full scope of why people are stealth in the first place.
If stealth is not right for you, don't be stealth. However, not recognizing the nuances of stealth doesn't help trans people either. You can be an advocate for trans people without being out because you don't need to be out to help the trans community. Additionally, nobody is obligated to know one's trans status. I'm pretty stealth in my real life because I owe nobody that information about my identity. And I do my best to make trans folks one of my primary interests in my life. These two things coexist in my life, and that's why these viewpoints are generally confusing to me. You don't need to be out - or let anybody know about your transness - in order to advance trans rights. Hell, you don't even need to be trans to do that.
Nobody should ever be obligated to be stealth. The expectation that trans people fade away in society is wholly asinine. However, that doesn't mean that stealth inherently is problematic. Stealth is not inherently adverse to trans rights.

also wanna share the small part in r/place that looks like nothing but means so much to me
left is the Move Forward Party, the party that got the most votes in the PM election (by 14 million votes!) but got rejected by the parliament
right is the thai flag with the thai monument of democracy inside, with the text "fuck the senators" above

So now that I told you to listen to Cold Spring Harbor there is Lore you should know. The original album was mastered at the wrong speed and came out sounding like a chipmunk. This was later corrected and it was reissued and the reissue is the version on streaming services etc, but the new label made some other changes and a lot of fans are loyal to the original. You can find uploads where people corrected the original themselves and I do like it better in some ways but I mostly listen to the reissue because it's easier and like idk it's still good. I'm not that intense about it. Billy Joel thinks the reissue still sounds wrong and says of this album "Don't buy it. If you can, steal it." but it's a great album I think he's just not over the trauma of it getting messed up in the first place.
personally if i got an album recorded at chipmunk frequency i’d take the opportunity to do the biggest bit ever . yeah that’s actually my voice guys . they usually pitch it down . no my voice is only ‘ normal ‘ right now because of extensive years of voice training . yeah i know super messed up . i got bullied in school

I don't actually have a strong sense of the aro/ace inclusionist tumblr cultural climate rn except like 'guyyys we were so mean to them :( let's let them in now come on' or like....really agressive and condescending posts asserting their validity and ~obvious~ inclusion in the lgbt community without any genuine followthrough or explanation

Regardless of your thoughts on trans people's right to reproduction, it is a human rights violation to force sterilize trans people. It is vital that we maintain trans people's inalienable right to their bodies in every conceivable way.

😝
It’s been a heartbreaking couple of days but tomorrow I’m going to a pride event! Hopefully I can enjoy my time there! (I’m an autistic lesbian) It’s just like I always promised, I won’t give up on people who need support (Both in disabilities and in pride), I’ll continue to advocate! I also need to remember the real me:
Caring and empathetic. When people need me I’m there, no matter how “Unimportant” or “Catastrophic” it seems. I’m a great listener too!
Fun and full of humour. I don’t have a very high standard for jokes or anything, I just love to laugh
Passionate and a fighter. I’ve been advocating for people with disabilities, battling against truly harmful thoughts some people live by (Homophobia, racism, etc.). I NEVER intend to “Keep my inner voice down” for anyone!
I’ll admit, it’s been really hard lately but I’m ready to be my authentic self again!😉
