My Manhwa List (2021) Part 1

It Was All a Mistake

Summary:

At a young age, Durua Valrose realizes that she’s been reincarnated as the villainess of a novel who is destined to die at the hands of the male protagonist, Nocturne Edgar. Determined to change her fate, she tries to befriend Nocturne, but little does she know that he is the only living black mage who can hear, sense, and even control people’s thoughts and emotions. To Nocturne, Durua is an enigma. She is the first person that he’s encountered who is not susceptible to his magic, a fact that makes him feel both intrigued and intimidated at the same time. Summary:

Yoon Hana is suddenly forced to leave her beloved neighborhood and must move to a different town.

Instead of being enrolled at her high school she was supposed to be in, she got enrolled to Youngsol High. And with that Hana anticipate her new start. However, she ends up being an outsider on the first day of transfer and even ran into a scary maie student...! She worries about if she'll be able to have peaceful daily life, yet... "I'll help you make 100 friends!!" The open-hearted Hana ends up making a completely nonsensical promise to Chang-wook, who has a different side to him unlike from the rumors surrounding him.

This is the sunny-like Hana and gloomy, but beautiful Chang-wooks's project to make friends!

- verdict, if you enjoyed boys over flowers and all story involving rich guy x poor girl drama, you’d probably enjoy this

Summary:

The ideal husband; a romantic wedding day; a perfect honeymoon... Everything looks as if it's going in the right direction, but instead I'm suddenly living a fantasy?!! Hahahaha, what the hell's going on?! Every time I fail a quest, I'm thrown right back to the beginning of the mission! Where exactly is this heading!? To protect my husband, Yeoyun, and stop travelling back in time, I must control this marriage and the in-laws!

I'm still a teen.

Why did I feel so bad after the finale? The drama shouldn't be this sad....I can't understand how the characters are happy despite the sadness. Should one be older and more mature to do so? Ssangmundong was just too plain without the kids. ㅠㅠ. And that last scene....whyy. whyy Deok sun? Whyy. It felt like they were all in heaven and met each other all over again...after all these years. Their neighborhood....their moms....their families were all there....Reply 1988, you dug up emotions unfelt. It's so bittersweet. How the story didn't go as planned, how the parent-daughter love showed, how they're so true and giving to each other, their everlasting friendship...man that understanding, "Did you eat?" "Are you fine?" "Gonna eat at his house" these are underrated and honestly, overthought. Miss you ommadeul, appadeul, jin jooya, chingudeul....

58: List 3 dramas you plan you watch

*stares at 90 dramas on her PTW that range from the sort I should definitely remove to maybe I should give them a chance soon* Hmm.

She Would Never Know. Definitely giving this at least 1-2 episode tryout, just can’t yet decide if to do it with friend on Saturdays or test the waters beforehand. I just want to watch Rowoon and Won Jin Ah embroiled in something cute and filled with pining, even if they totally chickened out on the noona romance aspect. Also the tag is so black and white over it, I really need to see for myself to make up my mind.

A Love So Beautiful. Do want to give either the cdrama or kdrama a try, I know it’s a huge fandom favorite and would enjoy some cuteness to watch with my friend. Not sure when I will go through with it, though. Might be year down the lane, lol. Kind of odd I see so little of the kdrama take on my dash. Odd in a not very encouraging way.

Color Rush. I tried to figure what other drama, but nothing really calls out to me and Color Rush is short episodes and intriguingly messed up and hopefully, I won’t be too invested if it actually becomes a mess.

There was a brief plan to maybe watch True Beauty with my friend, just for guilty pleasure fun as lighter drama after we watched bunch of heavier in a row, but I think it’s gone down the drain, with the general take on it.

59: Tell a random story involving K-Dramas

Other than the truly epic Forbidden Question incident we had earlier, I am not sure I have any?

I have gotten several mutuals into watching kdramas, purely by being obnoxious about it. And one of my week’s only regularity is that I watch kdrama every Saturday with a friend.

Also I’ve probably watched more kdramas than I’ve consumed any other type of TV or movie media before. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ And I learned to gif because of kdramas, which has not impacted my life in any way, but I do think it’s kinda cool that I know how to do that.

60: Name one drama you dropped, and explain whyy So, I ended up dropping a bunch back when I got my brain sent through paper shredder another time, though I put most of them on ‘on hold’ list which... They’ve not moved from in any direction for several years.

*weighing my options as to what would be the least controversial proclamation*

I ended up dropping Meteor Garden about 15 episodes in because I was solely watching it together with some friends for whom it was guilty pleasure fun watch and I was there just to roast every character all the damn time to get a laugh out of them. I do think I actually watched more, but am not sure, and I don’t really regret watching it, because there were some hilarious joke moments and that summer’s brighter moments will always linger bittersweet in my mouth, but, honestly, it was mess of a drama with some really iffy characters and there’s no way I would’ve even tried watching it on my own. It’s also only Boys over Flowers story that I’ve consumed to any extent.

⚠️hey hey!! if this is your first time visiting the blog and this is one of the first fics you decided to read during your stay here i assure you there are better finds in the library/drabbles masterlist :’)) with that being said, whether or not you want to read this fic is entirely up to you and obviously i can’t stop you from reading this but please be warned that this is a very poorly-written old fic that i am not proud of at all and also doesn’t reflect my writing habits today!! ⚠️

what are you doing here

what the hell are you doing here???

sure you needed a job but was this really your only option? (hint: yes it was)

you work at a gym in the heart of the city

you’re not like a gym instructor or anything because lol

in fact you would much rather be spending your time eating a family sized bag of hot cheetos and watching rupaul’s drag race but

you kind of need money to survive

there was an option to go and work at this restaurant but you are a very klutzy person and you already envisioned yourself tripping and pouring hot soup on someone’s crotch or something

and there was a daycare centre option too but kids are too loud and cranky

so this was the next best thing, being a receptionist at the local gym

so far the job is pretty chill

you don’t really have to do anything that crazy

you wipe down the equipment every hour and a half (sometimes u let it drag on to two because u get a little lazy oops)

you fold towels and stack them up nicely on the shelf

you refill water bottles and put in ice cubes if anyone needs it

even though you avoid the gym like the plague it’s not that bad working there

plus you get an employee discount but joke’s on your boss because you will never be using that discount lol

plus you don’t really have to put in an effort to look nice because no one really comes and bothers the receptionist and even if they do it’s only for a minute or so

occasionally you get a couple of cuties who wander in but they barely notice you because you’re always hiding behind the counter reading a book or scrolling through your Facebook feed

and then it happens

literally the most beautiful, god-like person walks in through the gym doors and you want to scream

he’s just so???? how is it possible that someone looks like that??????

all you know is that his name is jungkook

he seems to be a regular at the gym

you’ve only been working here for like a week and a bit so you’ve never seen him before but everyone else is like aYYy jungkook what’s up where u been homie

and he’s like o haha you know how it is i’ve been at the studio a lot but I found some time to come and pump some iron

everyone seems to gravitate towards him and you can’t blame him

he is if a ray of sunshine was a human

also he has a really cute bunny smile and round brown eyes and his hair looks so soft and it’s parted juSt right-

“excuse me?” you are immediately brought back to reality when you hear a voice

someone is standing in front of the desk

and that someone is jungkook

you make a mental note to bring some makeup to work just in case this happens again

you kind of blink up at jungkook before you’re scrambling off your wheelie chair and standing up and putting your book down and you’re like !! yes, hello, how can i help you, good morning, uhhhhhhh !!

he asks you for a towel because he left his at home

you hand him one of your very neatly folded towels with a smile and he takes it and thanks you

and then he says he’s never seen you around before and asks if you’re new

you nod and scratch the back of your neck and avoid his gaze because you have 0 experience with attractive people

you tell yourself to chill because this is just small talk but it’s still making your palms gross and clammy out of nervousness

jungkook’s like you’re much nicer than the other receptionist that used to work here……his name was yoongi

and you’re like oh no he’s still here but jin stuck him in the back because he was scaring away all the people who were coming in

basically yoongi didn’t bother folding towels up and didn’t smile at people when they walked in and also he would eat all the snacks that were meant for paying customers

you tell him you snuck a granola bar once but it wasn’t very good

jungkook’s like hahaha and then he’s like i should head back to the treadmill but i’ll see you around towel girl

in that moment you realise that you like his smile

he is a cute person

very very cute

(uh oh)

jungkook comes in every day during the next week

how does someone have so much spare time to come to the gym everyday

he has to ask you for a towel because he keeps forgetting his at home (on purpose because he just needs an excuse to talk to u)

you put in an extra effort to look nice for jungkook

sometimes you check him out while he’s lifting weights because you highkey want him to strangle you with his biceps

one time he glanced over at you while you were very obviously checking him out and you immediately turned around like hmmmmm look at my beautiful neat towels!!!

jungkook’s very used to getting checked out at the gym

not to toot his own horn but he knows he’s a pretty good looking fella

but he is slowly realising that he pretty much just wants your attention

of course he notices that sometimes people will purposely bend down in front of him while they’re stretching but all he can focus on is how cute you look when you’re popping ice cubes out of the tray and plunking them into water bottles for people

he really wants to take you out for dinner but… he doesn’t KNOW HOW

he’s only spoken to you when he’s asking for a towel (why is he so shy) and sometimes you two engage in some small talk but then he ends up chickening out and he’s like anyways i’m going to go to the treadmill now hahahAHah

one night jungkook’s basically the only one left at the gym and he went off to take a shower so you’re kind of just padding around the gym and wiping down equipment

you head to the back to get a fresh towel because the one you’re holding is all gross and crawling with a billion dead skin cells probably

you decide to take the shortcut which is through the men’s bathroom

not the most ideal route but then whAm

jungkook seems like he appears out of thin air and the next thing you know you are on the ground and a half-naked jungkook is straddling you

he looks even more attractive when his hair is damp and his body is literally glistening

jungkook looks mortified and he’s about to get off of you and help you up but then you’re like

haha at least buy me dinner first before you get me like this

the two of you laugh and then jungkook’s like okay

and you’re like ??

he’s like yeah let me take you out to dinner

you’re still like ??? even as he’s helping you up

you kind of trip over your feet and end up stumbling into his chest

you look up and you’re literally centimetres away from his lips 0mg is this real life

jungkook notes that you are doing nothing to move away from him and well

he leans down and kisses you and it’s the most magical feeling in the whole world

you react immediately and you wrap your arms around his neck

the next thing you know jungkook hoisting you up against the lockers

as much as you like the idea of jungkook f*ckin you against the lockers the locks are digging into your back and it hUrts

basically jungkook ends up fucking you over the bathroom counter

you two take a shower afterwards because you’re all hot and sweaty from literally an hour and a half of getting it on

jungkook lends you his shirt (he always brings a spare just in case)

it smells just like him :~)

and then he’s like you ready to go for dinner? and you are sO ready for some food

so you guys kind of did the buy me dinner then fuck me thing backwards but no regrets

you can safely say there was one positive thing about working at a gym

you got a boyfriend out of it teehee

jungkook forcing you to lie underneath him while he does pushups

you’re kind of like haha very funny i’m not going to do that in front of all these people

next thing you know you are underneath jungkook

and he’s peppering kisses all over your face and he knows damn well u want a kiss on the lips but he’s not giving it to you because claSsic jungkook

at first you were embarrassed because everyone is glancing over at you guys but now all you can focus on is getting that KiSs

you get very whiney and jungkook thinks that is just the most endearing thing to see you pout and your nose getting all scrunchy

when jungkook comes down for his 20th pushup and gives you a kiss on the nose you wrap your arms around his neck and tug him down for a proper kiss

jungkook giggles against your lips and kind of slumps down a little because you’re tugging him down pretty hard zamn u stronger than he thought you were!!

seokjin comes in and tells you to stop making out with each other because the towels aren’t going to fold themselves god damnit!!

Behind The Scenes 4 (7/?)

Author’s note: I last minute changed a part of this scene so i am not use how much i like it or how it is going to effect everything. (technically i took a detail out so yeah i don’t want this to change things too much)

*The part i took out was because the topic was a trigger to me, so i only scratched the surface the whole thing. You still get the main idea, i just imply more that what is written. I am sorry about that*

Summary: Suga and y/n bring up kinda bring up somme deep stuff.

ALL PARTS

( i am debating making a new gif for this part. I still don’t know how far i will go with the story but this gif is like a bit over a year old haha)

You heard a loud thud right next to you. You opened your eyes and searched of the source of the sound.

“Aish.” He grunted. Immediatley you recognized who it was

Your eyes adjusted to the dark room and you saw the silhouette in the fetal position grabbing his knee.

“Yoongi are you okay?” you whispered

“Yeah” he groaned as he crawled up to you. “Scoot over and don’t hog the blanket this time.”

You moved to the wall, giving him enough space to join you

When he situated himself next to you, he fixed the blanket over the two of you. His hand went to your wait and you scooted closer to him.

You could sensed his body heat and already felt so much warmer. You could smell his faded cologne, happy that you weren’t getting any hints of beer on him

“Hi.” He said with a bit of frustration in his voice

Things had changed over the past week and a half. V went back to his room, jimin fnially able to sleep in his own bed again. Jin’s resentment towards you had come down a tiny bit and he only stuck to the enraged stare if you ever encountered each other in the living room on those late nights watching tv with v. Suga and Jhope were actually trying to cut down again. You could see it. They were still struggling but they were trying harder than they were the first time. Jungkook… There was more space between you and Jungkook. According to V, Jungkook felt you wee a bit mad at him over the argument with your dad. V said that he therefore advised Jungkook to give you some space (because he remembered how annoyed you were about Jungoook and Suga). Jimin however denied this. Jimin pointed out that Jungkook never listens to anyone so he wouldn’t listen to V’s advice. Jimin said that Jungkook was just going to the gym more because he wanted to make sure he looked good for the comeback. You weren’t too sure which was the real reason and you didn’t really care. You liked that he wasn’t around because it made everything easier with Suga. Suga was the one sneaking into your room every so often so you coud talk some more(*cough* make out a bit *cough*). Tonight was probably his third night coming over to be with you.

“Hello Mr. Grumpy.”

“I am sleep deprived, hungry, physically drained, going through withdraws, stressed, and I just tripped and hurt my knee do you really blame me for being grumpy?” he said with a tired smile “I want to get drunk so bad!” he whined. “ Remind me why I am not blacked out right now.”

“Because you claim to love me.”

“Oh yeah.” he remembered, as he leaned in for a kiss.

You let him kiss you, unable to deny his lips. But you left it at just one to let him know you were trying to be serious about not wanting him to drink.

“If you are so tired, why are you in here again?”

He gasped at you. “Again? You think I am in here too much? you don’t want me here or what?”

You laughed and slapped his arm. “You know what I mean.”

He shrugged. “I can’t sleep. You know how it is.

“You have really deep bags under your eyes from not sleeping. I am sure the stylists are mad at you. Have you tried sleeping medicine? Being sleepy isn’t gonna help with your writing either. Hobi told me that Namjoon was on your ass the other day and had a melt down at the studio.

His eyes shifted a bit. You could feel his body get tense. “Last thing in need to to get myself fixed on pills like Hobi.” He mumbled. “I just got a lot on my mind and getting drunk is the only thing that would help.” there he was bringing up the beer again. He had done well with going cold turkey so far, but by the way he was whining, things were getting harder without it.

“What do you keep thinking about?”

He rolled onto his back, putting space between the two of you. “Nothing.”

“It doesn’t seem like that. Is it the deadline? The solo?”

“No”

“Is it jin? You all have been good in keeping him away. My bruises are gone now. I am fine… except for my pa- Is that what is getting to you?" Lately that is where your mind always went. Being alone in the room, all you would do was think oof your parents. Thankfully the guys were aware and they would try to cheer you up, this being now of the reasons suga snuck in. He never said it, but you knew he went back to this tactic of sneaking into your room and coming into your bed as a way of keeping your mind off your parents. Still, just bringing them up made you sad again and you coudn;t help but start crying.

“I just miss them.” you whimpered.

He wiped away the tears that trickled down the side of your face. “ What’s bothering me is nothing, don’t worry about it ok.”

A very stubborn you shook your head at him. You weren’t going to let yourself get distracted with your own problem “No. I know you want to talk about it. Don’t feel like you cant tell me anything anymore! I can take it. I am here for you. Tell me. Talking about it might help you sleep. It might keep you from wanting to drink. Tell me.”

You could make out his features from the light coming in between the curtain. You could see the creases on his forehead, the uneasy look in his eye as he looked at you, his quivering lip. He was conflicted. He opened his mouth to speak but nothing came out.

“Yoongi, tell me.”

“…It’s Aiko.” He said to so softly you could barey hear him despite how close he was to you

Hearing her name broght back a waved of memories and emotion. You let out a deep breath “Oh… ok” you said as you tried to hold back that tears that were forming in your eyes again

“I can’t get her out of my head.” he sniffled. “I can’t stop thinking about how her family is feeling right now. I can’t stop thinking of what things would be like if I just did one thing different. I can’t get your words out of my head. You were right, she trusted me! I hurt her when all she did was want to do something for me! And- And the little sleep I get, she is in my dreams! And- she- she talks to me and-“ that’s when he broke.

He shoved his head in to the pillow. He was crying so hard, although muffled, his sobs filled the room.

“What’s going on?” Jimin’s sleepy voice asked.

You saw jimin sit up from the bed

That’s when Suga tried to stop crying.

“Yoongi?” Jimin turned on his lamp. “Yoongi are you crying?”

“It’s nothing Jimin.” You told “Can you just give us a few minutes.”

“…Yeah… I- I have to go to the bathroom anyway…” Jimin said as he slowly got off the bed. His confused eyes were glued on suga as he left the room. “Are you sure everything gis ok?”

“Yeah we are only talking

JK POV

Blood. Fire. Guns. The nightmares wouldn’t stop. How could he sleep with dead eyes staring back at him.

Jungkook stood up from his bed in a cold sweat. He looked at his phone, 2:17am. There was only five hours left before he was supposed to wake up.

He took off his shirt, just a way to try and cool down. His fingers ran through his damp hair in an attempt to calm himself down and remind himself that everything was a dream. (of course it didn’t help since he knew that although, yes it was a nightmare, it was still a reality that he was causing)

“Water. I need water...”

His sore legs moved moved him out of the room and down the hall. In the dark hallway, the light coming from under the bathroom was enough to light the way to the kitchen. He didn’t care who was up, his mission was to go quench his thrist

In the kitchen he dug himself into the fridge in search of a bottle of water. Once he did, he chugged it sown in a good 10 seconds

It was when he hunched over to catch his breath, the idea came to him to go to y/n’s room. A week had been long enough to give her some space. Things were probably better now.

He was a bit more awake as he waddled down the hall. He reached for the door knob when suddenly it moved. In a panic, he jumped back and shuffled in the direction of the kitchen.

“What are you doing?” Jungkook heard a voice ask him just as he was a few feet from the kitchen

He stopped, it was time to be cool. He “yawned” as he turned around to the source of the question. “What?” he grumbled, scratching a fake itch on his chest.

“What are you doing?” suga asked more harshly

“I thought I lived in south korea, when was it illegal for me to get some water.”

Suga scoffed at him

“But I think I should be the one asking you that. Why are you coming out of y/n’s room?”

“That’s none of your business.”

“I said it before, if it involves y/n, it is my business.”

Suga walked up to him, stucking his jaw out all smug like. “So just becuase you are her fake boyfriend you think you can starting interrogating me as if are her real one? I think you are forgetting who it the hyung here, let alone your actually relationship to y/n.”

Jungkook looked right into Suga’s bloodshot eyes. “Just because you are older doesn’t make you any better than me or any better for y/n. Leave her alone and let her sleep instead of bothering her with your drunk ranting.”

“I’m not bothering her if she wants me in there. Not like you would know, she doesn’t even look in your direction.” Suga said as he walked off to his room

3rd reel was titled “turning point” and I fucking knew it was going to be angsty aND MAN BIGHIT DID NOT DISAPPOINT.

First of all, can we just appreciate the picture hanging in Jin’s car :’) Prologue feels. So I have a feeling the chronological order of the storyline is: Run Mv → Prologue → I Need U Mv → Love Yourself Reel. OR I Need U scenes and Love Yourself Reel scenes interlock. But fuck it man by this point I ain’t about to theorise ANYTHING.

BUT WHY IS SUGA ALL FLUSTERED AFTER GETTING THAT CALL FROM REEL PT2?? Was it Kookie? Was it someone else??! wHYY is you angry SUga?!

And then taehyung stepped out to save the girl from getting caught>?! But then waAIT HOBI STOPPED RUNNING IN THE RAIN? AND THEN IT’s JIMIN IN THE RaiN?! Fuck and then Kookie’s girl...she passed away?? Before he COULD CONFESS TO HER OR SOMETHING/?

Ok last scene fucked me over in and out all along i thought JIn was the one getting into an accident because of the faces he made??? THEN HE GOT FLOWERS FROM A RANDOM VAN ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD WHAT? Smeraldo smeralDO smeRALDO SMERALDO. And i swear i was yelling at the screen telling jin’s girl NOT TO CROSS THE ROAD AND THE BaaaAM got hit. Im so done.

Also, Jin’s acting though wtf give this man an Oscar. SHIT THis was sO ANGSTY
