Jason agrees to go through the legal hassle of being declared alive again. Mostly so he can go to college like how he wanted.
He would have done it under a fake ID, but he kinda wanted the success of having a Masters in English attached to the name he grew up with.
It's going pretty great, actually! He's making friends, gets to punch random paparazzi's in the face, and learning has always been fun for him.
But one of his college friends, Danny Fenton, is...weirdly obsessed with Wayne Manor?
Jason gets it, he does, the Manor is huge and of course the guy would want to see it as often as he could.
Then he starts to realize that Danny is strangely attentive to Bruce.
Like, actually flirting with Bruce.
Oh no his college friend, who is his age, is flirting with Bruce so hard it's making Bruce blush.
OR; Danny thinks Bruce is hot, and that the outraged faces of the man's children as Danny flirts with him are hilarious. Also Jason started it by trying to flirt with Danny's mom when he met Danny.

Hot take but canes are not a limited resource. Most mobility aids aren’t but canes especially. Canes are $20 at a lot of stores like CVS, Walmart, etc. You aren’t taking that resource away from “real” disabled people (hint: you ARE a real disabled person) in fact buying more canes creates more demand and works to make more stores carry them for better prices. You aren’t faking being disabled or hurting disabled people, you’re working to make canes more accessible which is helping disabled people.
Get the cane.

me: so i've gotta do a thing about a book coming out and it's fine but also i asked the author for an advance reader copy of the book since im quoted in it
my therapist: wait you're in a book? why?
me: oh you know, the whole The Dress thing
therapist: ...cates. im sorry, i have to derail this session. you were responsible for The Dress? like, that was you?? your post is the one that went viral???
me: yes? wait. WAIT. have i never mentioned this in the 2.5 years i've been seeing you??
therapist: CATES, NO YOU HAVE NOT. WHAT?? i've got a lot of questions and sorry but this is what we have to talk about right now because while i'm curious it'll also provide, like, SO MUCH context for how you feel about your career and identity of being a Person who Works on the Internet.

Important question.
Do you think that crybaby emotionally unsmart rain peepaw has a high chance of accidentally misunderstanding a compliment from his darling as darling courting him?
Very charming description anon, 10/10.
Definitely possible, especially if he's deep in his feelings for you. He has a few points to justify himself as well. Firstly because that's what his intention is when he compliments you, so he assumes it must be yours as well. He's seen plenty of couples exchanging sweet words and young men showering their person of interest in compliments (an act he'd later come to know as flirting and which would create an entirely new predicament) so, he's quite confident he's on the right track. After all, if you wanted to pursue a relationship with someone, you'd naturally want to soften them with every move at your disposal, right? The fact that compliments can come from a friendly perspective eludes him entirely due to his hyper-focus on his own goal.
Neuvillette is the type of person who always returns any kind words directed to him, every time you compliment him or even go close to that territory, he makes sure to return them with the utmost sincerity. It's easy for him to find something to say because his attention is glued to you the moment you enter his eye-sight. Sometimes, words escape him before he can even think, which has led to some awkward situations. He doesn't expect the same treatment from you, but if you did the same for him, he'd be ecstatic. He's in such a good mood for the rest of the day, with the widest smile and flush on his face that the news makes it to the front page of the Steambird the very next day.
Neuvillette also “rationalizes” his feelings based on existing records and dubious advice from his surroundings, because he lacks proper guidance in making him process his own emotions. He's been under the assumption that you like—no, love him as well for quite a while. Accordingly, he's been making preparations to alleviate your relationship to the next level. So, imagine his confusion when you awkwardly clarify that you don't, in fact, see him in that way. You're relieved when you see that he isn't offended, the Chief Justice even apologizes for jumping to conclusions. A few moments pass and he's still thinking over everything before he abruptly claims that you're lying. Ohhh, he gets it. You must be shy, is all! No need to admit it now in that case, he's a patient man after all. However, do not be fooled to believe that he'll take anything but ‘yes’ as an answer.

friends at the table fans are absolutely the most insufferable type of fan. no question about it. we KNOW we're insufferable too, and very loud about it. the niche we have carved ourselves is too great. a PODCAST (hard media for people to get into) about playing ROLEPLAYING GAMES (weirdo nerd interest to get into) and not even the mainstream ttrpgs but the indie ones that 75% of the already niche weirdo subculture don't know about, and every season is about insane gay people and grappling with huge philosophical concepts and the world changing and also freaky weird shit like a guy who is all bees and mechs that keep you alive for a hundred years. and yet its the best media you could ever consume and you desperately need other people to talk to about it otherwise the little bugs in your brain will DIE. of course we'll fight a war with the shrek cats and be fucking insane about it. of course we will
