alright this is going to be long im sorry but get me started on woso and i just blabber. uhh most of my sources cited but this is mostly me going back thru texts from during the world cup and grabbing facts/pictures from then so a few of these claims are a little
BUT i promise i didnt make this up LOL i was Deep in google for the entirety of the world cup so i Know i got my info from somewhere

there's three primary people involved here:
katie mccabe: left back (but honestly left everything wonder woman). captains the irish national team. plays for WSL's arsenal, has been since 2015 (minus a lil bit loaned to glasgow in 2017). those are the two important facts here really but the below is ~flavor~.
she's 28 and 5'5 and she's a DREAM. scored an olimpico at the world cup (FIRST IN WOMENS WORLD CUP HISTORY!!!!) (THATS WHERE YOU SCORE A GOAL DIRECTLY FROM A CORNER. FIRST ONE SINCE THE 60S IN A WORLD CUP IN GENERAL!! LITERALLY INSANITY!!!)
also for context this world cup was ireland's wnt's first ever major tournament appearance. she's the first ever irish goal-scorer (of men and women!). she's amazing. here's her for arsenal:
ruesha littlejohn: striker/midfielder. scottish-irish, but represents ireland at the senior level. 33 years old. has played for a lot of teams club-wise. currently plays for london city lionesses, a second tier team, but that wasnt announced til after the world cup. her most recent wsl team was aston villa (but i mean it, she's played like everywhere lol). 5'6 if you're curious.

caitlin foord: forward! plays for australia internationally, and arsenal (so teammates with katie. this is important.) she's played for arsenal since 2020! used to play for the thorns in the nwsl once upon a time. 5'7, if, again, you're curious. she used to date a swiss footballer (lia walti, who's played for arsenal since 2018) but they broke up like six months before the world cup. walti unfollows the australian team on instragram right after they post a video of foord, it's all very dramatic (THEYRE STILL TEAMMATES AT ARSENAL THIS WHOLE TIME BTW). arsenal man, always at the scene of the crime.

world cup happened this past summer (2023), btw. to give you an idea of timing.
katie mccabe and ruesha littlejohn dated for 6-7 years (some articles say 6, some say 7). they came out in june 2019 and said they'd been dating for three years already. their breakup was confirmed right before the world cup (like THE SAME WEEK??), in an article where mccabe was like "yeah, ruesha, my partner at the time..." very casual.
and then. in JUNE. (world cup starts july 20th!!)
foord and mccabe go to ibiza w an ex-arsenal player (jordan nobbs). who (in june 2023, not anymore) played at aston villa with. you guessed it. littlejohn. so yeah your ex gf goes on a trip to ibiza w a new girl and your current teammate, you might be a lil pissed off. maybe.
the sun's (i know, BOOOO but this made me laugh so hard) caption on a pic from the trip had me cackling:

so now we've got two exes on the irish national team going into their first world cup appearance, the captain of the swiss national team and an australian player having broken up like six months ago, and much more, but that isn't directly related to This Specifically.
while you, anon, presumably know how the world cup works, ill give a mini explainer for anyone lost: there's the group stage, where the teams get divided into groups (in this case, of four), and your team plays every other team in the group. you get three points for winning a game, one for a draw, and none for a loss. those points add up and top two teams move on. and then you go into the knockout stage, where you have to win to advance, and if you keep winning you make it to the final yay!!
but for this we only care about the group stage. and more specifically, about group B.
group B is made up of nigeria, canada, australia, and (drumroll please) ireland!!! it is the stuff reality tv shows WISH they could make happen.
ireland and australia play. it is (almost*) the very first game of the tournament (but it's still on july 20th). it is at 5am my time. you would not believe the timezone fuckery i went through that month.
(*ok new zealand played norway starting a bit earlier on the same day but that's not as dramatic sounding)
and you know how they shake hands with the other team before a game? yeah well here's littlejohn apparently refusing to shake foord's hand:

and i already shared this on @powerful-owl's post BUT. here's mccabe's little sister, supporting mccabe. please note the date (july 20th) and the comment from foord (from after the game, im like 99.99% sure) asking if she wants her jersey now. me personally if i just beat my totally platonic friend/teammate on the world's stage i wouldnt be pulling up in their sister's comments asking if she wants a jersey now (also implication of the word now as in previously discussed, etc etc. this was the thing that pushed me over the edge into insanity at like 9am after no sleep)
i admittedly have not kept up to date on anything that's gone down since the world cup so it's entirely possible more has happened! in fact i would say that it is downright likely lol. i love soccer lesbians n the insane charts necessary to keep track of their relationships <3

AMG and its actually Danny's idea having help from like tim and the others to find a good circus similar to what Dick showed him.
Dick ends up tearing up at the circus even tensing up as memory of his parents but then smiling as the ones of the swings make it out ok. Danny and his siblings looking happy...
Kind of wonders how different life be if his parents didn't die.. but he thinks they be happy with how he ended up. just becomes very emotional moment and a wonderful memory for Dick.

Am I here again? Yes i am. Am I here because I have no idea how to write my thoughts out? Lol YES. I JUST DONT KNOW HOW TO WRITE MODERN AU HELP. Aight so at first I was thinking about Childe since he probably would be one but since I'm a heavy simp of Pantalone and your way of writing him... *casually scratches Childe out * (sorry childe, Scribe can only take one at once QwQ *i guess*)
so... yan!Pantalone (i mean if we can get a but of childe as well then why not) with fem reader who's in a popular girlband.
This one will purely be based on your whole ideas about it since I don't even know what I had in mind. Sure, he's your typical crazy fanatic fans except that he can do even more with his power. (Right what do you have in mind? Here's mine) You who's not really the main (idk what but u get the idea) and doesn't really get as much screentime than that one member. Oh what will he do to make you shine even more? (Yeah right idk what, no need to make it sounds logical if you dont know too-) You being the third out of five doesn't sit right with him. Gacha games, where they try to max out your character and give you the best gear. Hearing your voice lines soothes them, almost like you’re actually conversing with them. These two are the ultimate whale-lords when it comes to you. Both have a shrine dedicated for your success, though one is more lavish than the other.

"Ignorant fools!" The tsundere of the group nearly stepped on the camera.
"I will protect the weak" then you picked up the camera, showing a kind smile with fake vampire teeth.
Childe's definitely going to use that screenshot as his wallpaper.

Your line made the men swoon over your voice, singing your little heart out. Childe’s imagination got a hold of him when he saw how you hold the mic, swaying your body, it instantly reminded him of that one music video where you’re dancing up the stage with such a showy outfit. Giving much room for imagination, the gothic based uniform revealed quite a bit under your skirt and the dip of your curves.
Not good, he's drooling. It was last night he found that solo album of yours, a very experimental one in fact. An interesting take on new music, combined with very steamy lyrics. He could only imagine what else you could do if you do accept him.

Out of the two men, Childe is the more gutsy type. Breaking and entering your house when you aren't home, rummaging through your things like a rat finding its next meal.
"Bingo!" Your underwear, a cute one in fact, with lace. You did notice it missing but you'd assume you just misplaced it and you'll find it once you stopped looking for it. Not knowing that a certain gangster is using it for his own unsavory pleasures. Occasionally he'd nab a few things like keychains, a fake pearl that fell off your costume. Or just getting that clam shell souvenir you got from the beach.
Pantalone doesn't stoop to something so low like Childe, he has standards! But, he does have access to special bloopers and cut content of you through connections. Though that doesn't mean he doesn't enjoy what kind of show you'll provide him in your private quarters.
Remember that stuffed toy from your last window shopping with your friends? You'll find that doll delivered to your changing room along with a usual bouquet of exotic flowers in a heart shape.

He wants you to look at him, look at him the way you stare so lovingly at those swans. Those lips of yours only tempt him to just jump on you, give every love and passion he has burning inside of him for even a moment to forget about that crybaby. Just LOOK AT HIM, he’s a mess. Recently, Pantalone had hired a professional crew, and interior designer('close friend or not'). Do you know that fabulous apartment building near downtown? It was a separate place for everything that you love or even items you were interested in. A dollhouse if you would call it that.
It's nearly a replica of your room, even the dust bunnies in that one corner. The only difference between yours and this, is the big portrait of you and him that he commissioned. It looked like it was photographed even though it's oil paint.

suicide tw a little later in the post, kinda heavy, kinda long. sorry i just need to talk about this
i was on youtube yesterday while trying to calm down from spiraling, and before i could find a video i wanted to put on, a 9 year old video my brother posted popped up. it didnt have any more than 10 views. knowing it'd be bittersweet, i clicked.
i was in 90% of the videos he posted. we'd be playing everything together. gaming videos, of course, if you dont know my brother, he's a gamer first person second. but in a well-adjusted way lol. he's like, really good at every game he plays and can beat them really quickly.
on one hand, it was really weird seeing my old self, even in video games. my typing style, the name i used, my character styles, etc. on the other, seeing my brother, young and so close to me, typing slow, awkward... it made me smile.
he and i used to be really close. we'd do everything together. he ... looked up to me. he talked to me. these days we've drifted. we don't ever text unless its a birthday, and then its just to say happy birthday, no conversation. i don't think we've had an actual conversation since i left. but even before then, the last time we really talked was when i was heavily suicidal and opened up about that to him finally. this was in late 2019, i believe.
he was caring, understanding, said he's struggled with it himself in the past, told me everything. and he said he would always be there for me.
it.. broke my heart, one night. we were all drinking, and he ended up getting emotional but none of us knew why. until eventually he started crying and just calling my name over and over. "oh, [deadname].... [name], [name], [name].... [name]! [name]! [name]!" it ripped my heart out, and just recalling it is painful. i knew exactly why he called my name. he was scared. he thought i was going to kill myself, and soon. and to be fair, at that point, i thought i was going to as well. i didn't tell him that, but he knew.
i'm crying lol. no one else ever knew why he did that. but i did. he was drunk out of his mind, so i ended up walking him back to his room and putting him to bed. he made me sit on his bed until he fell asleep. he fell asleep fairly quick, as he was very drunk and out of it. but he didnt want me to leave his side, so i stayed a little longer anyways.
that was the last time we were ever truly close. i wonder if he remembers that.
during my visit back to texas last year, i asked if he was mad at me. if he was ever upset that i left. he said no, he would never hold that against me. which was nice. but it did mean that the reason we drifted was just... for nothing. i mean, dont get me wrong, we'd been drifting for longer than that, the last few years i lived with him, he stayed alone in his room most of the time, and i never knew what to say. he's always been awkward, quiet, anxious, so talking wasnt easy. and i guess growing up made that feel impossible.
he eventually got a girlfriend, after years of me questioning if he was even into the idea of dating and romance at all lol, and she ended up living with us. im glad for her, coz she really turned his life around. but it did mean that i saw him even less. he was occupied with her.
theyre still together btw. his first ever relationship and its been years. good for him.
but anyways... i guess all of this just to say i miss him. i never thought we'd drift. it's hard to think about. hard to acknowledge.
looking back at those old youtube videos made me face that again. he was so young. so happy. so enthusiastic.
he had no idea what would happen.

i imagine how hard it must have been before the scarf incident to gain readers trust again. You mentioned how he stayed around the mansion when he first heard she was there. He probably just stayed in rooms he knew she would go in and just sit there to make his presence known. He knew that she would probably just walk right back out but at least she wasn’t leaving the mansion. He knew it would take a while but he didn’t care about the wait ( diluc hasn’t kicked him out cause he’s not even there , to busy avoiding a certain someone smh ) . He wanted to show her that he would wait for her not matter how long it took, he wasn’t going to forsake , abandon or desert her. Never again would he leave her behind.

an emotional game of cat and mouse
It takes weeks but reader finally throws him a bone and stays in whatever room he’s in to talk here and there( he actually started to get through to her but she’ll never admit it … he knows better tho). the bOOM reader takes his hand , they finally talk about what happened that night and the road to finally repair their relationship begins.
After that , the begin to take trips together, exploring places they use to go to as children to add new and better memories. You mentioned that they capture crystal flies together ! It’s cute that they capture them together. He was probably the one who brought up the idea to leave some in dilucs office and she begrudgingly agrees lmao .
Ok ok so to build a bit more of story before the scarf incident. What if kaeya helps reader with her hand phobia ( more angst for diluc , could potentially lead to fluff for him , who knows LMAO) but but they by start by linking arms , then pinky’s and then sometimes hands. When they camp out while exploring , kaeya let’s reader trace the the scars in his hands while he tells her where he got them from. ( IM SORRY i think siblings holding hands is the cutest shit ever, it’s also them making up for lost time… it’s also my soft spot for kaeya)
OK FINALLY at the scarf incident. They both don’t ask questions about each others cover up ( eye patch / scarf ). so the day diluc finally mans up and comes back , and like you said her scarf comes lose, she tries to cover up because she’s scared of anyone seeing. She feels ashamed of them. Kaeya tried to offer her his jacket but before he can take it off she hides in his chest . He freezes up before instinctively goes into big brother mode and hugs them. Think of it like a melting hug !! ( diluc being a witness of it all since he saw the scar he left on her neck)
what if … after this … she gets a bit of the glow back in her eyes bc deep in her heart she now knows that at least one of her brothers is here to stay for good.

There's that part in reader that needs him, though they hate his very being during the early stages of their reconciliation. He's willing to be the brother they needed, fix whatever can be fixed, and reader doesn't want to admit it/realise it, but they need his presence.
It doesn't feel normal- familiar at all, it's a jumbled mess of nameless and unknown feelings. They want to hate him so bad, to hate Diluc, the winery, mondstadt. They want to hate Teyvat because maybe all that resentment would finally leave their body and stop burning.
It's exhausting to be mad, it's exhausting to loathe.
And no matter how much the fatui pushed them to draw strength from such feeling, it's not in their nature. They just wish time could rewind and mend what's broken. Their hydro vision is not enough, not anymore.
But a clock doesn't tick backwards, and the closest they can get to their past is to hold hands, brush fingers, link arms, all while reminiscing.
When Kaeya sees they chose to hide in his arms rather than his coat he feels indescribable relief. It's the most tangible proof that he's doing the right thing and regaining their trust, because they feel safe in his hold. It's a different bond, one that doesn't taste like their childhood, but rather a new flavour to be discovered.
Diluc sees it all. Thinks that maybe they don't need him, or any more of his deleterious actions and feelings.
Perhaps the hole he left wasn't caused by his absence.
Perhaps his presence dug that hole in their heart.
What do we do with him, do we give a happy ending? LMAO

because a tweet of mine that i made before the game released got fairly big (at least for me) and is now incredibly outdated. it stated my doubts on trusting the nintendo SVP about shiver's canonical gender, and now that the games out and people are still in a serious manner claiming shiver is enby and NoA erased that, im very very worried that those thoughts have been sparked by me
please PLEASE spread this clarification i made on the thread (https://twitter.com/EggOscar/status/1577436791283384320). im not deleting the thread for the sake of honesty, but at the same time i dont want to spread the idea around that this was all NoA's fault and this was going against NoJ, because for once, it wasnt.

how i feel about this character:
I LOVE CAT i love him so so much. he's so funny and iconic and just. a pleasure to witness. it's always so fun to see what new outfits he wears in each episode hehe. im always a sucker for humanoid characters with animal traits as well, im kind of a furry/furry-adjacent so obv that aspect of him appeals to me too........ he was actually my favourite character for a while before he got beaten by rimmer and then by lister but he's still very dear to my heart
any/all the people i ship romantically with this character:
nobody! my personal headcanon for the cat is that he's aromantic so i don't ship him romantically with anyone, he's expressed multiple times that he gets confused or revolted by the idea of committed romantic relationships and i can't imagine that it would be something he'd derive happiness from. just my personal headcanon though ofc
my favourite non-romantic relationship for this character:
oh definitely his friendship with lister! i love love love how they can be partners in crime sometimes and how cat seems to have a weird kind of respect for lister (at least compared to how he feels abt rimmer lol). it's very very funny how lister is technically the god of cat's species and the whole reason why he's even alive in the first place and yet cat just Doesn't Care abt it. i love how in earlier seasons lister would treat cat more like a cat sometimes...... ik it's definitely not canon but i like to think that he still does cat stuff with him sometimes like getting him to chase laser pointers and string. i also think cat should snuggle up to lister sometimes and complain abt his smell the whole time but he also spends hours like that bc he enjoys it. imagining rimmer walking in one day to see lister playing video games with the cat just curled up on his lap and he immediately turns 180° and walks back out of the room LMAO
my unpopular opinion about this character:
call me a sap if you want but i do think he cares abt his friends. i think he loves and cares abt them deep down and idc what anyone says, even canon. if you've ever been friends with a real kitty you'll know that they can be extremely affectionate loving creatures, and although cat himself is pretty aloof i like to believe he has a loving side deep down. very deep down.
one thing i wish would happen/had happened with this character in canon:
i would love to see more of the other cats! also the whole thing of "coolness" being an expression of atheism in cats is so funny and i would have loved to see more of his fellow Cool Cats that don't follow "cloister's" teachings. i also would love to see him doing more cat-things in the modern series like he used to do back in the first two seasons especially, like playing with his food and scent marking by spraying perfume on everything and stuff like that. he doesn't do as much of that stuff as the show goes on and i miss it

haruka: forgiven & direct murder - terrible mental state and looks like abuse or something happening. wanted to see what good mental health would look like for him and what information you get
yuno: forgiven & indirect - wasn’t sure if she killed her boyfriend or if she killed a baby, probably desperation either way. started reading theories after this and thought that she was just young and in a bad situation with the compensated dating and possible pregnancy
futa: forgiven & indirect - firm believer that he’s just delusional and stupid. so very stupid. the fact that the tweets he’s posting before the supposed murder are all about moral justice leads me to believe it was a case of caught up in the moment, and the video game scenes made me think he has no grip on reality. after the “monster” is killed and he has blood on his face he looks terrified and has a reality check, so when the scene switches to real life there’s no body behind him. then he’s holed up terrified in a blanket. i think he’s dumb and delusional and an sjw and i don’t think he deserves a death penalty just a serious talking to
mu: unforgiven & direct - i did feel very sorry for her but after reading the stuff on the chalkboard and also the fact that the purple girl didn’t seem to be involved in the bullying (also the voice drama lmao), it seems like a case of an entitled rich kid who got bullied for that and took it out on the girl
shidou: unforgiven & what the fuck - my original theory was that he was either stealing organs from his patients and pretending that they had grave illnesses, or he was allowing patients that were very ill to die instead of helping them and then taking their organs. he used them on the flower person. didn’t understand the point of meta voting at this stage but now that i do i’m curious for the second trial
mahiru: forgiven & no idea - i actually thought she was dating the crush at first and on day 16 with food he came home with another girl and she killed one of them, but now i’m thinking that she probably stalked him and he committed or something? either way i think she’s delusional someone save her. she’s really such a sweet person that i couldn’t fathom her doing something with a full intention to kill

uhmmmm.... 👉👈 im still curious about your thoughts on why you think sope has kind of drifted apart these past few years. ive been watching the two closely since 2017 and kind of went mia last 2020. only got back in the fandom late last yr so im curious about your perspective on why you think so... ive seen some sopies share the same sentiments and i wanted to get more context as to why yall arrived with almost the same idea. i already asked you this before but i noticed you still havent answered it yet. if you wont reply to this, i guess ill just take that as a hint to never ask about this topic again hehe sorry if these ever came off as delusional or anything but im honestly just curious about what happened 🥺
Oh, of course; sorry about that, my entire Tumblr is on a queue, so I’m rarely actually ON Tumblr (except yesterday) and most asks I get are lowkey toxic shipping stuff, so I ignore it 😩
It’s not delusional at all; and if it is, I’m also delulu lol. In terms of Sope in particular, I always got the feeling that Suga had a thing for Hobi…a demonstrable thing, crush, feelings, confusion, call it whatever you want. Yes, BH feeds into the madness, but I don’t think they can fake every second on camera and he (Y) was just demonstrably happier, softer and overall more energetic with him (H).
But we stopped getting damn near any interactions a few years ago. Like. At all. Even the 2021 and 2022 memories were bare bones for us Sopies.
My theory? Sometime in 2019ish something happened and one or the other said something pretty bad to the other or feelings came to a head and someone, IDK WHO, put them on ice (I tend to think it was Hobi who wanted to chill out…idk, he just never seemed as into it). And they just haven’t been the same since then. We know they used to see each other outside of work in the past because both of them have said it and there’s photo/video evidence. Now, J-Hope says he sees Suga “in the office”; a far cry from two dudes who went to concerts together or sat around and drank at their new office.
Even Yoongi being the only one not at the JITB release party. That wasn’t sus to y’all? And, yes, I know they said he “felt sick.” But come on…he turned around and performed, in outstanding health, at the Psy concert right after that. That just looked…strange.
Anyway, I’m choosing to remain delulu and force myself to believe that they love each other and Sope is not divorced and they’ve kissed (don’t worry, I know this is all jokes and fantasy…I actually believe 5/7 of Bangtan are in or have recently been in, hetero romantic relationships).
I’ve literally never “shipped” anyone else in my life and BTS is the only group of strangers I actively enjoy keeping up with (I don’t even watch reality TV 🥴)—so I’m just gonna hold on to this as my OTP for awhile lol
This is all just conjecture and gossiping on MY part.

i think seeing plays is fun but being part of the production is way more exciting. i love getting to see all the behind the scenes work and like. i like being able to work with my hands a lot. and when i was spotlight for a few shows . that was so exciting. this is kinda lame but i get chills super easily from watching things (idk how else to explain this. chills. goosebumps. because im excited.) so whenever i would watch the shitty high school theatre productions we did i was still like. so proud of all the work that went into it. and i got chills every show. most of the time i didnt get to watch the show though because i was moving things on and off set. watching plays on youtube is so real.. i watched uh.. "natasha, pierre, and the great comet of 1812" on youtube. it was still very fun to watch. but yeah in person will always be better

ok this isnt really a theory or anything like that but i keep wanting to tell people about this and i am barely restraining myself so . i will tell u. ace sabo and luffy are called the asl brothers right? and ace... died.. my brothers and i also have the initials asl. or we did. but my deadname starts with an a.... my deadname and ace have something in common (theyre both dead).

ok heres an actual thought. sorry if it sounds awkward. some of this would be spoilery so i will just not include it but. pirates are all about dreams. they have big, lofty goals that they dont usually tell people about, probably out of shame and embarrassment. in sabaody it is hinted that kidd and killer told people that they were going after the one piece, and they were laughed at for it. not many pirates are like luffy, who proudly proclaims that he will be king of the pirates and find the one piece.
i find it really interesting that crocodile is hinted at having had a dream that was only possible through taking over alabasta. and enel's dream was to get to the "endless varse", even after being defeated he still headed towards his dream. he just ended up going alone. big mom's dream is a utopia where every race can live peacefully together. they all are willing to do awful things for the sake of their dreams.
but again, the difference between luffy and these other people and their dreams is that luffy is not hurting people in the pursuit of his dream. he isnt causing a bunch of people to suffer. in fact, he is doing the opposite. he has continuously been shown to free people from their oppressive rulers, and he crushes the dreams of those who are willing to sacrifice innocent people to achieve their goals.
i dont really have an end point to this but i think that the differences are kind of proof that luffy is going to actually succeed. because he is good at heart. because he doesnt kill people for the sake of his dream. and also i pity the people he defeated. like yeah theyre awful. but i cant help but wonder what crocodile wanted. i cant help but think about what kind of circumstances led them to that point in their life

hrmmm hrmm thinking about minecraft and roleplaying and d&d.
i mentioned it before i think in a post but i DO love roleplay actually, i love roleplaying overall- my lack of appeal w recent rp in things like hermitcraft more so comes from the fact theyre aimed at being family friendly/for kids (and that they dont really make "characters" to separate from themselves) buut also i kinda wonder how much any folk doing this stuff thinks of their role as a 'dm' of sorts. this isnt to say everyone needs to take such a organized role, but as the interest in minecraft SMP storytelling increases, i do wonder more if anyone would tackle this with more organization, bc I often feel like it lacks that and it's why I don't hold interest in it.
honestly i cannot deny that i would looove to be in charge of story telling in a setting like a minecraft server. if i had people to play with id get so into the idea of directing a general story. but thats the one thing i realize- many SMPs that i see that are popular dont have much direction in this regard, and theres many times where story pops up and fizzles out with no ending because... there was no goal in mind.
RPing is complicated while it is improv, in setting like D&D and other group settings, its likely someone is in charge of the overall direction. or its what would be recommended, because without proper planning for the long term, you lose the plot unless everyone involved is capable of winging it very very well.
personally id love to see someone tackle an SMP with the same intention as tackling a normal D&D campaign... not to say they need dice roles or NPCs planned out but, i think theres a big lack of management in some SMPs that reach for very ambitious ideas and that can often be their downfall/what causes stories to stay unfinished or forgotten.
not everyone needs to make an SMP like that, im just saying id enjoy seeing someone use minecraft as a D&D sandbox tbh. and i think of LOM because i think thats what Rob kinda went for before deciding minecraft wasnt the platform he wanted. he went on to DM multiple campaigns of D&D with his friends and they were all very well done-- if hed done it in minecraft too i wouldnt been all over it still! funny enough the only other thing that came to mind while writing this was Shadow of Israphel which felt very D&D-ish with the fact there were NPCs, but it was also heavily scripted- still, it hits a lot of the marks when it comes to storytelling in minecraft.
its hard to draw the line though, since RPing can get quite intense on a certain scale. i wouldnt want to see heavily scripted super serious plot all the time. but i do feel like one issue i have had is seeing improv RP from random players can really deviate the tone across the server and videos. Like, to see some people engaging in the Hermitcraft s8 plot while some are just... not at all? kinda awkward. it feels like im watching someone put on a crazy LARP constume while other people are just sitting in casual wear minding their own business. and i have to decide one of those doesnt exist - and i feel like the same is kinda happening with hermitcraft s9 too now with ren being king and all. its also why i completely ignore some players on the Life series bc i was immediately slapped with them putting on a roleplay-ish persona that just did not feel along side the people i watched. even some bits in the middle of videos i skipped past just to not see it lol.
so yeah idk what im saying here other than.... RP is cool, love it! would love to see more RP focused SMP where perhaps... 1) everyone was actually into it so it didnt feel awkward between different tones of playing 2) there was more organization, perhaps treated more like D&D dming, in order to not lose plot lines when they do happen. it would be great too, as it would help keep everyone tied together, having a proper dm figure would help so no one gets left out tbh. 3) i also just hate the family friendly vibes sorry thats what im missing most.
and admittedly i loved dming a 20-30 member RP when i did it on discord. kinda wanna run a rp focused smp now, whoops
#also dont intend to sound like im dissing on anyone's rping btw#i actually think grian is really great at his planning and i know he doesnt other similar things too#in the end my lack of interest on that regard is just the tone lol

yes! i feel very grateful i got such a long time with majority of them. the youngest i had to put to sleep was, its gonna be 3 years in june, he only got to become 2 years old. i was destroyed by his death. because he was so young. and another younger one i had to say goodbye to was 5 years old. i do believe though that the average lifespan of a piggie is about 6-8 years. so even 6 years is quite old for them.
awe, sucks you didnt get more time with them! but at least you gave them a good life no doubt.
what?? i had no idea! all i was told it was due to age. however that veterinary clinic has been soooo sketchy for years i refuse to take me pigs there, or even our cat anymore. yall they were so insensitive when my pig was having seizures due to something in his ears, or brain? idk really, he was old though, 8 years old and this one fucking vet was like 'he has outlived his time hasnt he' like no lol....if i could save him, i would. age doesnt matter unless surgery is involved.

but yes grief does not have an expiration date! and im sorry you had to put him to sleep, a very hard choice to do but its always for their benefit. a lot of people choose to be selfish and refuse to put their pet down just to be with them for a couple of more days.. even tho their pet is suffering. what im saying is that putting him to sleep was probably best for him, now hes resting somewhere peacefully! and im sure hes grateful for the life you could give him and that you were there for him when he left ^^
also sorry you had that vet experience. but its not uncommon for vets to suggest an old animal be put to sleep, especially if they are prone to having seizures which could be very hard on a small animal. but i didn’t experience what you did, so i cant really say much… doctors just become so familiar with death that they seem insensitive. its tough for all of us.
but if you feel uncomfortable with your vet, its okay to find another! do what you think is best for your family <3

The harsh cold of Siberia has you wrapping your arms around yourself, aggressively rubbing your hands down your arms.
“You okay over there, doll?” Bucky asks, concern evident on his face.
Oh yeah, just fine. Not freezing my ass off or anything.
“Fucking super soldiers,” you mutter, walking faster to keep pace with Bucky and Steve.
“What was that, Y/N?” Steve asks, slowing down to match stride with you.
You fake a smile. “Nothing. Let’s just hurry up and get inside.”
Bucky curses before walking back towards you and pulling you into his side. “Fucking hell, doll, you’re freezing… I’m sorry. I should’ve noticed earlier.”
“It’s okay.” You wrap your arm around his waist. “You have a lot on your mind.”
And a lot of people trying to take him in.
You won’t let anything happen to him though. Nobody is taking him away from you again.
Once you finally make it inside, you almost moan at the sudden rush of warmth. There’s a coldness still lingering in the air, but nothing like before.
“C’mon.” Bucky guides you towards another room. “Time to go searching.”

You wish you had stayed back. Or maybe, you’re relieved you came, since you would’ve found out eventually. Better now than later.
The other Winter Soldiers have been murdered. Zemo’s out for revenge. And Bucky? Well-
You watch Tony as the devastation crosses over his face, your own heart breaking at the sight.
Ever since you’ve joined the Avengers, Tony’s been your rock. The father you’ve never really had.
The two of you are inseparable and most days, one can find you down in his lab, helping him work on a new feature for your suit.
When you’re on missions, Tony looks out for you like a hawk, his overprotectiveness taking over as he worries for your life.
And now…
You watch the video of Barnes murdering Tony’s parents. You want to laugh at the irony. The love of your life against your figurative father. But instead, you find yourself crying, angry that the world can be this cruel.
Bucky’s stare burns into you. He knows how much Tony means to you and he’s desperately trying to plead with his eyes, but you won’t spare him a glance.
You keep your gaze on Tony, who’s crumbling by the second. You expect him to lunge at Barnes, but you’re surprised when he decides to simply look over at Steve.
“Did you know?” Tony’s voice is cold as he addresses Steve.
Steve looks down quickly and it’s then that you know his answer. He doesn’t even have to say it.
“I knew it was Hydra… I didn’t know it was Barnes specifically though.”
Tony stares at Steve for a minute, scrutinizing him intensely. “You’re lying.”
Steve looks over at you and you can see the desperation in his eyes. The regret. ��I may have put two and two together.”
“And, you didn’t think to tell me?!” Tony screams. “So much for being a team!”
He then whirls around to look at Barnes, pointing his finger at him. “And you!”
Striding towards him, Tony uses one of his hands to send a blast Bucky’s way. “You murdered my parents!”
Bucky flies into the wall, his body collapsing on the ground.
“Bucky!” You yell. You might be upset, but you don’t want Bucky to get hurt. You don’t want any of them to get hurt.
Steve runs in to protect Bucky, throwing his shield at Tony. As you watch Tony slam into the opposite wall, you start to panic.
“Stop!” You scream, getting in between the three men. They listen to you, each of them staring at you in shock.
Looking over at Steve, you sigh and gesture towards Bucky. “Get him out of here.”
Bucky steps forward, his heart breaking at your dismissal. “Y/N-”
“I said go!”
You turn around to face Tony, not entirely sure if you can handle watching Bucky leave.
Once they’re gone, Tony opens up his arms. You run into them, instantly resting your head against his chest.
“I’m sorry, Tony.”
He doesn’t answer, but as he starts to run his hand up and down your back, you know he doesn’t blame you. For anything. Not even for loving Bucky.

Weeks go by. Weeks of not seeing Bucky and missing him every second.
Well, not anymore.
After getting in contact with Steve, you got the location of where they’re hiding out. Wakanda.
And now you’re here, ready to forgive, just like Tony has.
“Y/N?” The shattered voice of Bucky makes you jump.

Looking at him, you notice his disheveled appearance. He hasn’t shaved since you last saw him, you can tell by the hair growing along his jaw.
“Buck.” His name comes out as a whisper, almost a sigh of relief from your lips.
In an instant, you’re on him, wrapping your arms around his neck like your life depends on it.
Tears stream down your cheeks as you bury your face into his neck. “It wasn’t your fault.”
Lifting your head up, you grab his face in your hands. “I’m so sorry I made you feel like it was.”
Bucky sighs before pulling you back into his chest, his head resting on top of yours. “I’d understand if you thought it was. What I did to Tony’s parents...”
You can hear the shaking of his voice. He’s on the verge of tears himself.
“That was out of your control, Bucky. All of it was.”
“Doesn’t feel that way.”
Pulling away, you look up at him. “It is that way. You’re a good man, Bucky Barnes. The best man… My man.”
The tears fall freely down his face now and he manages to give you a small smile. “I love you so fucking much, doll. You’re my slice of heaven in this fucked up world. I need you to know that.”
“I love you too. Always.” You wrap your arms around his neck. “Now, please kiss me. It’s been too long.”
Bucky grins. “Anything for you, doll.”
You sigh as his lips connect with yours, the feeling of two lost souls finally coming back together to reunite.
This is home.
