But he's still rolling sweet ... he's still in the fight ...

Okay ... one round left ... I'm fucking SWEATING ...

This is it ... last roll ... come on Taliesin ...

They are all SO MAD AT HIM RIGHT NOW and I don't blame them ... but it was a SWEET roll ...

He's down, steaming ... but now he's back ... wow ... he has a MOLTEN ROCK ARM replacing the one he lost? Cool ...

Fearne kicks him in the face. "I sm never trusting you again!" I do not blame her ...

That's it ... end of session ...

They are still SO PISSED at Taliesin ... I am too ... he is SO FUCKING LUCKY ...

I was really happy when I noticed you were back, your IF is certainly on my most anticipated list since I read the summary. I'm so excited to read it, the story sounds intriguing and I can't forget to praise your art which is amazing!!

AAAAAH, thank you! I'm doing a lot better compared to the past few months.

ヽ(；▽；)ノ The main post is kind of outdated as I've changed some things here and there since then, however the premise remains pretty much the same. It makes me happy to hear that the summary really drew you in though.

I decided to take a step back and focus on my notes. I was really nervous at first because that meant that my time wouldn't be spent towards actually filling up that wordcount. Some part of me felt like I needed to hurry up so I could post a demo of the game, but in the long run that'd do me more harm than good.

So the past couple of months I came up with many good concepts to incorporate into the story. I've been applying some of what I learned from my Psychology classes into the story as well.

// v \\ And I bought Scrivener the other day. I'm obsessed with it. I went absolutely ham on organization, but transferring my notes to a new program again has been a bit tedious.

I do apologize for not being fast like some authors, so I really appreciate and value your and everyone else's patience and time.

I was going to save these concept pieces for a far later post, but I figured I'd show you them now since you like my art! It really means a lot. I've been re-designing Daemin (again lol) and here's a character that's part of the story! 💕

Bear Necessities by rosysoleil Summary: Atreus becomes trapped in his bear form and Sindri reluctantly agrees to help turn him human again. Comment: Set after God of War: Ragnarök which, if you’ve played the game, should tell you all you need to know lol. Am absolutely obsessed with this one, y’all. Characterization on point, intriguing plot, incredible writing. The one God of War fic that refuses to let me go. (WIP)

Malevolent - ⛥⛧this too shall pass⛧🕯️

It would be a long drive home by Croik Summary: Arthur Never Makes the Deal with Kayne AU Comment: *Incoherent noises.* Holy moly, this one is good. Amazing writing, captivating plot, just an overall joy to read. The ending made me crave more.

Lacuna by Calamitatum Summary: After Addison, John gets a body and Crazy Shit Happens (not necessarily in that order) Comment: *increased incoherent noises.* BITCH. This fic broke me. And it ain’t even finished yet. Such excellent content, an absolute must-read. (WIP)

Tuck me in by Croik Summary: After getting his own body, John finds it difficult to adjust to one of the most basic and most anticipated new options for him: sleep. Comment: Cuddles. Solve. EVERYTHING. Am so in love with this fic. I hold it up gently for everyone to see.

formaldehyde (or, The Case of the Missing Lilly) by SupposedToBeWriting Summary: Prohibition with a hint of demons and detective-ing Comment: If you could see my reactions as I was reading this fic you’d understand the hype. Absolutely fantastic piece of art. Just. Aaaaah I love it. Quite long but I barely noticed. Hooks you in and refuses to let go.

Batman (DC) - 🦇we live in a society—🃏

HOPE THE LOVE WE SHARED CAN RESURRECT THE LAST. by orpheusaki Summary: Jason survives Ethiopia and returns home; this is the beginning. Comment: The ending made me cry and demand a refund, but like, in the best of ways. Major Character Death. This one HURT y’all, proceed with caution.

Papa Whiskey Bravo by PsychedelicBumblebee Summary: Dick almost dies while on patrol, and Bruce quietly loses it. Comment: aaaah urgggh this one hurt. A LOT. Which seems to be the ones I end up enjoying the most. Beautifully written. ScaredShitless!Bruce is always a win. Gets you right in the feels.

Don’t hold your breath, I don’t think we have much time left by Chemical_Processes Summary: On a quest to rid Harvey of Two-Face, Duke gets critically injured, forcing Bruce and Harvey to work together to keep him alive. Comment: This ficccccc omg. Absolutely obsessed. Love me some Duke content, and the Bruce & Harvey dynamic is to live for. Protective!Bruce is best Bruce. You might be cautious after what I just said about this author’s other work, but don’t worry! This one sparks joy.

And we’ll be carry each other by FishFromMars Summary: Timmy goes to a safehouse after a mission ends with the death of two of his best friends. Comment: what can I say? Reverse Robins AU is an immediate win in my book. Also Damian being a Good Brother makes me feel stuff, man. Something something poetic cinema something. Really well written as well. Very sad, I love it.

my shoulders are heavy already by a_alene Summary: Damian is not sick. Dick is not having a crisis. Also, freezer pops. Comment: Sickfic, which already tells you it's gonna be some good soup. So incredibly sweet but also very oof. My heart constricted several times while reading this. Damian and Dick’s dynamic and relationship is just so…🥺 I love them, your honor.

The Long Way Home by itsnatalie Summary: Jason and Tim are forced to work together when they’re trapped inside a murderous labyrinth. Things get crazy, y’all. Comment: !!! this. fic. It’s one of those fics that’ll stay with you long after you’ve read it. The longest fic on my list, but oh my god it’s so worth reading. And that’s coming from someone who doesn’t usually read longer fics. Seriously, this shit SLAPS

POKEMON SCARLET DIARY #1

i've decided i'm gonna be narrating my experience through pokemon scarlet in here, i thought it would be fun :) i'll post all spoilers below the line and i'll create a tag you can block btw!!

anyways, let's start with my first day (idk if i'll be able to fit everything into one post but i'll try)

this is my character!!! it's been a while since i played a female character in a pokemon game so i chose the girlie; i like how androgynous she looks like tho, it's nice :)

i am in love with the starter house just look at this!!! beautiful!!

anyways i chose fuecoco as my starter and named him drac :)

also i really liked how the introduced the starters and how you could hang around for a bit before deciding, it was a very neat touch!!! and clavell feels more like a professor in this game that the actual professor, which actually makes sense as he is the one with a plant-based name. not sure if i trust him yet, tho.

i met nemona!!! she's nice i really like her :) also SHE'S LOADED WTF???? have you seen her mansion??? i'm really curious about her parents, i hope they get shown in the game. at first i thought her mum would be geeta but she's been shown talking to her and the tone was different (they could still be sisters?) i just know they're gonna be important, that's for sure.

i also met koraidon and omg the anime-esque aura of him! the dramatism!! i love it honestly and had a blast going through that initial cave and stuff

arven is incredibly different to how i imagined him to be and i'm so intrigued to know him better, he obviously has a secret agenda that has to do with his mum and area zero but for now i have no idea, it definitely shows that he's fundamentally connected to the main story

this was my team when i got to the first pokemon center by the way!!! i'll update it before every gym but yeah, these were my firsts!!!

I WASN'T EXPECTING HER TO TERASTALYZE OUT OF THE BLUE LIKE THAT???? it was kinda hard defeating her pawmi, but it helped me rapidly understand terastalyzing lol

there's churros and tortilla in the game 10/10 goty 😭😭😭

battled team star and got terrastalyzation through it!!! i like these guys, they give me team skull vibes and that's like my favourite 'evil' team so yay! also there seems to be something between them and clavell... and penny as well. humm....

after getting lost in the city i got to the academy!!! and aaaaah probably my favourite part of the game so far... when i tell you when i was like 10 i used to imagine i was a teacher in pokemon academy™️, used to give lectures to my stuffed animals using the whiteboard i had in my room, and used to write pokemon exams in word and grade them.. so yeah i think i spent more time that i should've had here but i don't care

i NEED to know who this woman is she sounds like james bond but cooler and i can't wait to meet her. also she has a bomb ass name.

i'm also loving the lore of this region!!!! i read the scarlet book back to back and i cannot wait to uncover its secrets it all sounds like that disney movie with the nerdy archaeologist and atlantis and i can't get enough of it

i finally got to meet the professor!! i fucking love how she's literally in the field and that's why she can't join us, i want to go to that area zero so bad please let me in

ah yes, a 1200€ per month spacious apartment in madrid, just like in real life

finally started the quest yayy

Passive-aggressive, filling the anguish of an unpleasant conversation to come by small talk, saying I'm fine when I'm not... I was going to say it was triggering but that's a huge exaggeration so I'm going to say it saddened me because I saw myself as a teenager acting like this with my boyfriends when I was upset with them and often they either realized it and didn't fight it (which broke my heart) or they didn't see the change (which also broke my heart) and I ! Don't ! Want ! Not ! This ! For ! Her ! So Rindou, take courage and do what you have to do! That idiot doesn't even realize how much he loves her. Men ☕️

Very interesting also the parallel between his recurring dream and the first chapter, when he was talking about the closed doors, I liked it a lot, because as usual, your brain is fascinating !!! What an irony also to see a Dom having so little control over his own life, maybe Hanma's psychiatrist could analyze our little mullet man 🤭

I wish sometimes i didn't have to put things in the cw so i could SHOCK people but ya know, responsibility or whatever. all the yuzuha stuff was off outline, but i'm so glad i added her because i love her so much. i felt pretty strongly that she couldn't be up there beating women after her lived experiences with violence, but i love the motivation i came up with her. glad you liked it!

my heart broke at what you said about guys not fighting it. that's just so true to life.

when i first wrote the 2nd argument, i made rindou's apology wayyyy too good, and then had to tone it down. because he's not a good communicator, and he's not connected to his emotions. But reader is, and she's just so that girl for me. like yes, know yourself, your boundaries, and your power. i am so glad you were cheering her on in this!

I have not been following you for long but I'm just so impressed with your take on Anarkia! I've loved reading both your ic and ooc thoughts (that one on her connection to 'heresy', particularly!) and I adore that you are really making her a fully rounded muse without relying on the evident tropes that it feels the creators had in mind when designing her.

Honestly, I think you are able to capture her allure in such a subtle yet perfect way; it derives from her mysterious origin (rather than appearance, at least going from my experiences with the interrogation) and she just feels like an extremely intriguing figure that does not adhere to what most people in DisCity would expect her to and it makes her such an unpredictable individual - it's super exciting!

I just really appreciate the voice you've given her, balancing that seemingly gentle nature but with the ever-present hint of danger and the lethality she also carries around. I'm super curious to read & see more of your Anarkia on the dash! :)

i dont feel like i write ic posts enough but i'm trying to remedy that asap with all these asks in my inbox that i havent gotten to and my drafts ahhh... but yeah i enjoyed writing her connection to her own sin, heresy sm. i come from a background that is intrinsically connected with the middle east (not middle eastern myself, however), which i feel like i could provide insight to even just through my own culture.

honestly similarly with you: writing gacha characters has their own pros and cons, and unfortunately with both of our muses they do not get the main story's depth and exploration. to which i find is one of the fun things to explore: we go with the bare bones we are provided, although i have the luxury of her being in the first event featured in the game. to which, i was genuinely surprised that they went that route with her. at first i was going to be disappointed because her teaser line was very sultry, like a distant lovers thing with the chief but the event story went into more of her anger towards people, and honestly, i felt that and i wanted nothing more than for them to give me something that was more than just an elusive dancer or fortune-teller.

she is a very unpredictable individual and that is so... sometimes i worry about that balancing act. it's such a delicate thread to walk on but i'm happy to be here, and i'm happy to keep working on it. i'm glad that there are people who want to write with her, inside or outside the fandom, and i noticed the same for you too and it's always got such fun dynamics and different traits of the character to emphasise on. <3

Alright so, this is one of the few WIPs in the list that I've started posting on ao3 (here)... though I haven't updated for over a year. 😅 It's on hiatus. I was unexpectedly gifted this fic as a sort of prompt by a fellow ao3 user in early 2021 (here) - they actually used to pop by this blog on anon. They were known as the lentil anon. 😂

The ghostly and historical elements of the prompt really appealed to me, I won't lie! I have a lot of this fic plotted out and do occasionally tinker with it. Even now, I'm not sure exactly how many chapters it'll be, especially as I set myself the task of having relatively short ones (around 1K each). 2021 was really not my year and so I can't pretend I'm actively working on Voices in the Library at the moment. However, one day? I do hope to write more and complete it. Hell, it's been so long since I posted the first bits I'll probably end up editing them a tad, just to improve the writing if I can.

The story? If I do it right (which is a big if) it'll make my fellow Rivyan shippers all weepy. 😂 That's the goal, anyway. It's about spooky shit in dusty old libraries and creepy university morgues, yes - and it's also about Rick and Vyv being very, very gay - but underneath that it's about the finality of death, even in a world with ghosts, and learning to live and love despite knowing it can't last forever. And also, it's about choosing to live furiously and passionately for those who didn't get very long to live on this earth themselves. IS THAT SAD AND PRETENTIOUS ENOUGH FOR YOU, SCUMBAGS? 😂

Everything about the hiatus being true, here's a tiny snippet from the unfinished third chapter:

“So, let me get this straight.” Vyvyan smirked to himself. “You spent Armistice Day – the first one, that big moment in modern history that historians love to wet their knickers over – running, screaming around the university quad like a girlie, covered in alcohol and stomach acid?”

There was a splutter of indignation from the spotty ghost in front of him.

“Well- of course not- I mean… that’s not all I did!”

It was Friday, almost midday, and Vyvyan’s first week of library service was nearly complete. He supposed he hadn’t done so badly, having managed to ignore the two resident ghosts here for four days. It was the next four months he was worried about now.

rosetintedseer: Hm? Should I not be complimenting the quality of your villainy? Shall I simply languish whilst you commit unspeakable crimes? I assume you’re criming about as we speak, yes? Texting me whilst tangling yourself in webs of deceit and intrigue? Certainly not just messaging some random girl whose information you plucked from the interwebs for kicks? Though I suppose that too would be rather villainous.

uravitrocity: Uh... Uh... oh gosh... Well right now, I'm about to embark in a most nefarious of evil plots that'll have people shaking in their boots! T-Texting a random internet stranger is just the b-beginning! Th-Though, uh... you wouldn't happen to have any good ideas for supervillain schemes... would you?

rosetintedseer: I am afraid I am but a humble Seer, kept up in her penthouse suite that she acquired through various lucrative deals acquired from some particularly crocodilian companions. Whilst I may not have much levels as a hero, I’m not sure I could say I qualify for villainy either.

rosetintedseer: You’ve managed to provide me some amusement though. Gold star.

uravitrocity: Gold Star!!

uravitrocity: I earned a Gold Star! I did it! I... uh...

uravitrocity: I'll take that Gold Star! It's mine now!!

rosetintedseer: Gasp.

rosetintedseer: Stealing what was meant to be a gift for you. I’m almost hurt.

uravitrocity: Eheheheh, now you see what kind of evil you're dealing with!

uravitrocity: Maybe next I'll come by your penthouse and invite myself in-- without knocking!

rosetintedseer: Oh my. Doxxing on top of breaking and entering? Truly vile stuff you’re considering.

uravitrocity: Aaaaah... t-trying to make me feel bad about it won't save you from my wickedness!

rosetintedseer: Hm? I assumed you would take that as complimentary. My apologies, I’m trying to meet you in lockstep.

uravitrocity: I-It was a compliment! Of... Of course it was! I love to intrude on people's privacy!!

rosetintedseer: Most certainly. You’re a bad girl, dear Gravitrocity. I assume I am to be some sort of hostage or…?

uravitrocity: Ah... I really hadn't thought that far a-- I mean of course!! It'll be a kidnapping! And I won't be a nice kidnapper! I'll make sure to set a really high ransom!

rosetintedseer: Oh? Consider me almost excited to have my value appraised once you arrive. I’m curious what you think my market value would be.

uravitrocity: O-Oh gosh... w-well it definitely won't be a low amount, that's for sure! Y-You have a pretty face and nice hair, and you have such a lovely way of speaking... y-you're probably worth at least a million bucks!!

rosetintedseer: My my. That almost competes with the lot of land that was bought off me for this hotel. I’d like to think I’m somewhat comparable with a five-star hotel, yes. Mmn I do like the idea of that. Unless you’re purposefully lowballing my value so you can scoop me up for yourself?

uravitrocity: Ah! No no! That kind of white collar criminal underhandedness is... is... is completely up my alley! Yes, I'll scoop you up! I'll even do it with both hands!

rosetintedseer: How authoritative. I suppose there is nothing that can be done. I’ve found myself in a bit of a damsel in distress situation it would seem. Eyeing me up like a piece of meat and an upcoming payday.

uravitrocity: Y-Yes! That's me! I bet it makes you tremble knowing you'll be subject to the terrible might of the planet-defying supervillain Uravity!! I-I mean Gravitrocity! ...But, uh... it might take me a moment to get there. D-Don't run away though! J-Just m-maybe have a nice bath and put on some nice clothes... I think purple would look good on you! I'll be on my way! I-In the evil direction!

rosetintedseer: Oh is Uravity also being worked on for your villain name? Either way I suppose if you are ordering me to run a bath, I will. I apologize if I am not decent when you arrive. I’ve quite a bit of ground to cover in a few areas. I simply don’t have a choice but to comply with your demands.

uravitrocity: U-Uravity was my old name, f-from back when I was a goody two-shoes loser hero!

rosetintedseer: Mm mm. I see. You’re such a natural at villainy I would have never put that together. You’re so depraved.

uravitrocity: Th-That's right! I am the very model of depravity!

uravitrocity: A-and I'll t-try not to walk in on you when you're not decent! That would be embarrassing for both of us.

rosetintedseer: I’ll admit I’m somewhat used to it. The owners of this hotel don’t quite value my privacy. Though perhaps you’re nicer than them.

uravitrocity: Ahahh... My niceness is much nicer than any hotel manager's niceness!

uravitrocity: I-I mean... my niceness is evil!

rosetintedseer: You’ve got me in a tizzy, Gravitrocity. Nearly on the verge of tears as I draw this aromatic bath at the heed of your intense commands.

uravitrocity: A-Ah! Oh no... w-well, I demand you dry those tears immediately!

rosetintedseer: Mm? Are you certain? You’ve rendered me so emotionally vulnerable.

Hello, I would like to request the golden trio and Salo with a reader who asks them: 'Can I paint you?' They agree and assume they mean a painted portrait but then the reader goes "Great!, can you please undress now then?" They then realize they meant a naked portrait and proceed to undress BUT THEN the reader comes closer to them holding a paint brush and a palette and asks "Can you please turn around with your back facing me?" Turns out they meant body painting lol

BODY PAINT:

SILCO,VIKTOR,LOCAL CUISINE BOY AND SALO

He averts his eyes briefly when you ask him to strip down after he agreed to paint him. Not that he is embarrassed, oh no no~

-Ask you to turn around, so he can take off his clothes. You've been both naked plenty of times already but suddenly he felt the need to stop you from looking.

-When it's your turn to ask him to turn around and stay still he's a bit confused yet he does it anyway.

-He feels the brush on his skin and shudders. You tell him you were going to paint flowers on him. Adding some purple to resemble the shimmer.

-He was intrigued by your request and obliged with a small smile. Beside he was comfortable around you enough to let you see his naked body.

-He asked you how you wanted him to pose. Something innocent?Maybe him reading on the sofa? Or you wanted him to fully display his body to you, leaving nothing to the imagination as you feel your body ache for him.

-He was glad he had his back facing you while stripping off his clothes. He wasn't new to talking a bit dirty but he was indeed blushing.

-You gently kissed the nape of neck and let the brush caress his back "I'm going to paint you gold.Like a statue everyone will admire because you're perfect" Viktor's heart melted at your words.

-As soon as you asked him to model completely naked he fast took off his clothes. You averted your eyes with a blush on your face. So eager to make you happy. What a good partner.

-He suggests a couple of poses. He's aware how good looking he is and would love for you to paint him the best.

-You chuckle and ask him to turn around. You have different plans this time and he sure is curious about what is going on in your pretty mind.

-He lets out a little gasp. He wasn't expecting to feel the brush on his skin. You tell him everything is going to be alright and when you'll be done he would see a pretty galaxy on his body.

-At first he brushed you off. He told you he was busy with council work and asked you to wait till later.

-Then your time finally comes, and you ask him to take off his clothes;wiggling your yebrows as you see the shock on his face.

He obliges, though;maybe it's an attempt to hide the fact you want him.

-He starts blabbering about your funny request and that you could just ask normally if you want to get intimate with him. He loves you and would totally spoils you.

-He wants to make you happy?Good. You ask him to turn around, and you tickle him with the brush before starting working on little colourful shapes that you will turn into jewels. His expressions were price less through the whole painting session.

didn't do this last week, so a summary of Thoughts from critical role c3 so far! (spoilers for episodes 1 and 2 under the cut)

so this is going to be a little less... chronological than usual, i'm gonna try and group it by character(s) though just to make it have some order

side note I have rewatched most of c3e01, so a lot of my character thoughts are things I picked up the second time, as the first time I was just going AAAAAH internally

it's very long and rambly I apologise but I gotta put these thoughts (emotions) somewhere

laudna and imogen:

okay right off the bat I love the dynamic of these two. a lot of us were wishing for characters who knew each other for a while for c3, and laudna and imogen fit that perfectly. the casual domesticity? the comfort around each other? it's all incredible i love them

laudna is. just. my heart. marisha ray has done it to me once again. her full body acting is incredible, i don't know how marisha is doing it but the creepiness seems both effortless and endearing. i'm so excited for this

side note one of the notes i made after episode 1 was "is the rat-bird a familiar? I hope we find out its name" and then we DID. Pate de Rolo!!! wtf! watching Tal's face during that whole exchange was incredible

anyway my heart for Laudna. seems like she is 1 probably a lot older than we thought, 2 maybe probably undead? 3 potentially a de rolo, 4 who the fuck knows I am so intrigued, 5 she made a rat friend to keep her company my heart

okay on to imogen! I have a lot fewer thoughts about her but again I'm super intrigued by how Laura is playing her, it's very interesting to see her playing a quieter character after Jester?

ashton is a gift I love them. every single damn one of Taliesin's characters is extremely queer in a distinct way and he has done it yet again

side note I am getting a bit of... Molly vibes? morals? from Ashton. specifically the putting back of three copper made me think of "only steal from grumpy people". I am not complaining! I've always been a bit sad that Taliesin didn't get to play Molly for very long, so I support this

so for these three, definitely going back and rewatching helped because the first time through I was just confused and short-circuiting and did. not really take anything in

anyway fearne is a gift, especially on a repeat watch her whole vibe is just. immaculate.

the fearne and laudna camaraderie we got in episode 2 was incredible. just hyping each other up. they're just great together I love it

fearne, stealing the earring: "don't get on my ass about it!" will forever be iconic

I love listening to Liam describe things, which is why I was hoping for him to play a bard, but honestly he's excellent describing the fighter attacks too so this is great! Orym's just a gymnast here

also I'm such a fan of Robbie's descriptions of the weapons-hidden-as-instruments

I hope we get to see some more spellcasting from Dorian! that would be cool

also forever amused by how terrified he seems to be of Laudna

I have no thoughts only QUESTIONS. why is he here. why is he level five. is he actually the correct age or is he a changeling or some weird shit. how does Travis play someone so full of shit so incredibly well.

the whole having a drink while everyone else was fighting was a stellar choice, and Ashton then stabbing him was also stellar. also getting him to pay for everything was also great

also Orym going "I've heard of Vox Machina, I haven't heard of you," was brilliant too

anyway I have NO idea what Travis is playing at, I do expect Bertrand isn't sticking around long (but idk the mechanisms of that) but so far I am very curious, very intrigued, and enjoying the hell out of it. what is going to happen?!

side note does he just... not have a subclass??? what's that about?

general/setting notes:

y'all I know nothing about anything and it's great. with VM I went in knowing a lot about Tal'Dorei, I've gotten used to knowing lots about Wildemount bc of M9 and DMing in Wildemount. here I'm just like "oh a place? where is that? who is that? what's going on???"

jrusar is giving me way more of a steampunk vibe (spires, cable cars, lifts, automatons...) than anything in C2 did, and it's great. it's everything I loved about Hupperdook, I hope it continues!

we have SO MANY C1 connections here! it's super interesting comparing it to how Matt started C2 with minimal C1 connections, but I think after the positive response to Allura it makes sense. will we get some C2 connections? can some of our PCs be from Wildemount? I would really love that

I was not expecting us to get Brumestone and Age of Arcanum tie-ins so soooooon but i think it makes sense post-Aeor! I am extremely fucking excited for this tbh
