Ayaka
You meet by chance, she caught a small midday break and headed towards the komore teahouse. And would you look at that? The place was empty besides you and Taroumaru.
Seeing your warm smile as you greet her, she can't help herself when she rushes over and kisses you. A quick peck on your lips.
She's smeared a bit of her lipstick on you, and it's not even obvious as she likes to wear nude tones. Other people wouldn't notice it in all honesty, unless they were all up in your face.
"Ah, hold still dear," she pulls out a handkerchief from her pocket and traces your lips softly.
Usually, she's the shy one when it comes to affection, but this gesture made you feel like folding at the knees. This is your lover, this sweet, caring and gentle woman.
As she focuses on you, her self-control slowly dissipates, your lips are just so soft and plump, your visage puts her in a trance. And before she knows it, she's leaning in again, body pressing into yours, one hand resting on your shoulder the other hanging closely by your cheek.
She catches herself, but, she's come this close, and looking up you're a kiss away from making out with her as well.
"It seems I might need one more kiss, would that be alright love?" Her attention darts between your eyes and your mouth her heartbeat skyrocketing.
"Of course." You feel breathless as she closes in.
All is left forgotten, overrun by the way you hold one another. In this moment sweeter than honey, you are the epicenter of her affection.
Ningguang
As the gorgeous woman in power she is, Ningguang often receives gifts from all over the continent from business partners and other rich people hoping to seduce her with their money. (If only they knew she was married)
Among those, a recurring item were beauty products, how creative, though they were of the finest quality she had received more than needed.
One of those batches has recently been sent to her by a businessman she will be having a meeting with the next day.
To say such a move struck a nerve is downplaying it. Yet Ningguang's expression remained calm as her lover was analyzing the basket in their bedroom.
"Did something catch your eye, S/O?" She looked amused at the grimace on your face.
"Is he expecting you to wear this? Who does he think he is?"
You rummaged through, picking out a lipstick tube and opening it to reveal a crimson color matching your wife's eyes.
"This one's nice at least." You mumbled to yourself.
You felt a presence behind you, and soon two slender arms wrapped around your figure clawed fingers threading carefully. "Does it bother you, my treasure?"
"I don't like the way they treat you, that's for sure. But y'know you got your image and all, it's fine." You brushed it off, toying with the silver band with gold carvings on your finger. Your promise.
She gently turned you around "Something as my image is trivial compared to my spouse's wellbeing," she brushed a piece of hair out of your face.
You were left speechless, was she planning to— no, but she looked so earnest.
All questions were brushed away when she took the tube from your hands "I've been negligent, allow me to make up for it," She said in a particular tone as she pushed you down on the bed, now applying said lipstick.
The next day at the meeting you sat next to Ninnguang, she was wearing a deep blue dress, her wedding ring shining right in the eyes of the bastard across the table.
Cue the baffled look as you were introduced as her spouse. If he looked closer he would also see the red imprint of Ningguang's lips peeking out from the collar of your outfit.
She had the courtesy of leaving the lovebites lower.
Ei
Miko put her up to this.
Being isolated for 500-ish years makes you miss a thing or two and she wanted to make sure you knew you were loved.
So she went to her up-with-the-times kitsune. And Miko delivered, she did you a service, really.
So the next night you get yourself comfortable on the queen-sized bed you and your lover share, patiently waiting for her to join you.
And she does, after stopping by her vanity for reasons yet unknown to you.
She approaches the bed in long, purposeful strides. Crawling to and stopping when she is above you, her right hand supporting her from right beside your pretty little head.
Now you can see why she had a detour.
Caught up in her beauty your brain, like the rest of you, turns to mush. "Why the lipstick?" You whispered, staring at her violet-colored lips.
Leaning down Ei started what would become a nightly routine, giving a peck for every inch of your face.
"For kissing," she says between them, her pace slow and her presence barely felt against your skin.
"It's not necessary," You try to argue before her plush lips land on yours, promptly shutting you up.
"I've heard you might like it more this way."
Well, she certainly didn't hear wrong.
Yanfei
Coming back from settling a very serious civil case, having to go through the two parties' mind-numbing discourse, it is an understatement to say Yanfei was tired.
Entering your home she wanted nothing more than to shed her formal attire and attach herself to her lover for the rest of the night.
Speaking of, there you were, emerging from the kitchen. You made her favorite, remembering her dislike for the sort of case she's dealt with.
Hat forgotten at the entrance Yanfei made a beeline for your warm embrace.
"How did you do today, chatterbox?" The only response you received was akin to a groan.
Chuckling, you picked her face from your chest, "I'm proud of you, y'know? I know it's hard– the effort you put in to help these blokes is admiring." Slowly leaning in you sealed off your declaration with a kiss.
When you pulled away Yanfei was met with the smear of her lipstick left on you. Before you could go for seconds she pushed a hand on your shoulder prompting you to stop.
"Wait, let me take off my makeup first." Her face was as flustered as possible, it was an upgrade from her exhausted look from earlier.
"Making a mess never seemed to stop you before" a mischievous smile played at your lips and gave you a certain glint in your eyes as you leaned to her ear "or perhaps, you like this mess too much, Yan Yan?"
"You're so unfair," She whined as she hid her face back into your chest.
Safe to say your evening meal was cold by the time either of you remembered it.
Hu Tao
Her playful nature and creativity combined nicely when used in her makeup.
The dark tones of her clothing, the rings, and dark red shades of eyeliner added to her ghostly charm, as you lovingly put it.
She also applied a matching lipstick, but it didn't tend to stick for long after she found how flustered you'd get when she peppered your face in kisses.
Especially if you were unfortunate enough to glance into a mirror and see her "artwork". You'd turn crimson, poor you.
Hu Tao was in the parlor, impatiently bouncing her knee until you walked in.
She was, perhaps, a bit too eager to see you.
"My new lipstick came in, you know what that means!" She declared as she stood up, new shade already adorning her lips.
"Um, what?"

"Tao Tao, butterfly, what does it mean?"
Without a word she started approaching, a mischievous glint in her eye.
From a distance, the retired Lord of Geo heard screams of bloody murder, he sighed. Centuries of protecting Liyue amounted to this.
Kokomi
Her Excellency was usually too busy to give applying makeup much attention and time in her day.
That's how you, her lover and right hand, ended up doing it for her. Especially on days like this, when a festival was to begin in the next hour.
Someone sitting on the high priestess's lap working on her lips would shock the public, seeing it was you who did it however would prove the reaction to be underwhelming.
Nevertheless, Kokomi insisted on not letting anyone in her quarters until the time came to head to the festival. Of course, you were the exception.
"Aaaaand done! What do ya' think?" You held a mirror for her to appreciate your work in.
"It's wonderfully done S/O, I only ask if we could perhaps try another color."
You glanced at the clock before cheerfully presenting her with more options. "Take your pick."
New color picked now Kokomi reached for a cloth to wipe off the current one only to be stopped by your cold hand holding her wrist.
"How about we put it to good use since it's already on?" You said, subtly tapping a finger to your lips.
Now, Kokomi was a rational and composed woman. Just not in this situation where her lover, her weak spot, looked so inviting and was so softly taking her chin with their fingers.
A mischievous one you were, and it send her heart afloat.
Returning your ardour, she leaned in to meet your soft lips. A shiver went down her spine when your other hand tangled in her hair, gently weaving through it.
Her small hands tugged at your clothes, pulling you into herself as much as possible. Being intoxicated by each other, there was little that could make you pull apart willingly.
This meant that only something like the knock at her door could make you two startle away from one another. The knock was accompanied by a voice as well.
"Your excellency, the festival will start soon." Here was Gorou, unknowingly cutting your spur-of-the-moment relaxing session short.
"Thank you general. Join the others, I will come out in a minute."
Looking between your messy hair, clothes in the middle of being undone and the lipstick marks all over every inch of exposed skin her face flushed.
Especially after noticing how much more restraint you've proven as she was mostly as put together as she was half an hour ago.
Only thing she could do now was to stop Gorou from chastising you for arriving late to the festival.

wanted to join in on that meta post by saying yeah, even if we view joker’s and akechi’s relationship as special compared to the others, akechi is still written under the constraints of p5, and an antagonist to boot. like. vanilla had his confidant as automatic bc (iirc) they thought they couldn’t fit it in properly! which is crazy, even tho the automatic rank ups have an interesting implication (such as, akechi will always be rank 10 by the end no matter what you do). i understand that ppl probably wanted someone to talk sense into the thieves for their unwittingly callous actions, but not by the guy who decided to go thru with his 11/20 plan lol

YEAH like, I love Akechi. I adore him. But I have SO many OPINIONS about this mans. like. I'm not going berate anyone for how they write characters, that's the freedom of fandom, but I am going to stand over here with my opinions and contrary thoughts and chitchat about them in my space
I know that very often it is because people want someone to refute what canon has shown us (because canon's writing disagrees with it's desired goals as mentioned in that post). They want someone to go "Look at Joker, look at what's happened to him, don't you care? How risky this was?"
But okay I'm actually going to back up a bit!

What other choice was there for 11/20?
Because the answer is not "they could have taken Akechi in a fight."
The goals of the interrogation room/metaverse plan:
Escape with Joker alive
Trick Shido and the conspiracy into believing Joker has died
and you know? you know? you cannot do that latter bullet point if you just beat up Akechi
So enlighten me. How, exactly, were the thieves supposed to come up with a different plan in under 20 days? One where Joker would live, where the conspiracy would believe he had died, and importantly, one that at that point in time cannot count on Akechi being a turncoat. They have no reason to trust that he would
"Don't you care about how risky this was? There had to have been other ways."
We don't get Shido's name as Akechi's employer here until after the phonecall reporting the death, I believe. They cannot change Shido's heart in time to avert this because they do not have the information. The interrogation room plan, genuinely, was one of the smartest ideas they had. It accomplished exactly what they needed to. These are teens in a life-or-death situation, who notoriously have MANY trust issues with adults for good reason, especially since society is so corrupt that a hitman can easily walk into a police department and assassinate a high-profile criminal and get away with it with help (remember the guard at the door?) The other options are basically "change your identity and flee the country" or "literally actually die" lets be real here!
SO
Akechi, let's be honest with ourselves here, would primarily be pissed off that the thieves got one over on him! And if he is concerned about the lasting trauma of it all, or how risky the plan was, he is seeing this and approaching it from the angle of knowing it worked.
(Better options for sense-talking: Sojiro! Sojiro is right there! Takemi! Iwai! Kawakami! Yoshida! All important responsible adult figures to Joker and at least some of the thieves.)
In my opinion if Akechi wants to snark at the thieves about the plan in any way regarding how much it fucks up Joker and how it was risky, they are more than allowed to fire back shots at him for making it necessary and shooting Joker in the head in the first place.
I think people often use it as a shorthand, to show that Akechi cares about Joker, but also as a way to emphasize the importance of Akechi to Joker (compared to the rest of the thieves). It's easier to ignore the fact that he killed two of the thieves's parents when it comes to Joker being in a relationship with him, as long as it can be shown that he's the one that really cares. That he wouldn't put Joker through something so fucked up with his care (hilarious, laughable, he shot Joker in the head). It separates "Akechi and Joker" from all the phantom thieves in a way.
(Honestly sometimes it feels like ship bashing/character bashing but for ALL the phantom thieves with how intensely some people write it! beyond even the point of exploring Atlus fucking up characterization to pretend to have a blank slate silent protag)
BUT like I said in the post, it also points out a major flaw with convincing players that the rest of the thieves DO care in the game. Because the thieves are never really given a chance to show that. It's implied, and it's clear the game wants you to believe they care, but we don't get scenes addressing specific stuff like this enough.
Joker is confident, and cocky, we see that with that bastard smile in the interrogation room after getting "shot" in those cutscenes. It is genuinely a plan to be proud of, and it hails back to his original persona being Arsène. Arsène, who escaped from prison simply by disguising himself and pretending he had already escaped and put a body double in his place. Arsène, who pulled off a robbery while in jail. Arrogant and self-assured and cocky, the interrogation room plan is genuinely something the likes that would be worthy of Arsène's name.
He can be proud of the plan, and also traumatized by it. But he actively agreed to this plan, probably helped come up with it (where does everyone get the idea that it was Makoto's plan? genuine question). Joker is not a hapless victim of other's whims, he also had agency. So many of the parallels between Joker and Akechi are how they exercise what agency they have while being stripped of traditional power and victimized by society.
Honestly? Honestly? In my personal opinion, having Akechi berate the thieves for the plan is disrespectful to his rivalry with Joker, along with his own characterization.
He holds Joker as his equal. Equal in agency, in skill. If he looks at Joker and says, "why would you go along with such a foolish plan?" if he looks at the thieves and says "why would you ever put your precious leader through this?" he is taking away Joker's agency and choices. One of Akechi's focal points is agency. If he sees Joker as equal in this, and he denies Joker his agency, he is also taking it away from himself.
Akechi's cocktail of emotions regarding the assassination can manifest in so many different ways, and he can translate that to anger at the thieves rather than himself for putting Joker through that, but that would be his emotions regarding himself being misdirected more than anything.
Akechi has too much respect for Joker to deny Joker his agency in a plan that was good enough to fool him.
Respecting agency and admiring a brilliantly crafted plan also doesn't mean ignoring trauma that ocurred from actions taken under duress.
(At least, it doesn't mean that as long as you're not Atlus)

My Scriddler headcannons over Batman The Audio Adventures:
1. Ed and Jon start hang out cause Ms. Tuesday bullies Ed. She is basically forcing him into team ups with Scarecrow because she wants to hang out with her gf Autumm (and because she worries about him, honestly she is his only friend and she is a teen he hired to a part-time job, he needs someone his age to hang out, prefencially someone he isn't paying to).
2. Autumm is more gentle and is subtly manipulating Jon into the team ups for basically the same reasons: Crane needs friends and she wants to be able to kiss her gf on work.
3. Small tangent Autumm and Miss. Tuesday are both not cis (Autuum is nb and Miss Tuesday is trans) and they go to high school together. They study in the same building as Dick Grayson (who is transmasc in this universe cause I said so) but Dick is a middle schooler so they don't interact much.
4. As a social experiment Miss Tuesday secretly starts "borrowing" Ed's phone to send heart emojis to Crane at random. She always whipes the evidences so Ed has no idea she is doing it. He knows she is stealling his phone but not what she is doing with it. The though should annoy him more, but as Jeremiah Arkham once said he has a weird unexpected soft spot for the kid (the phrasing was more on the side of "I cannot understand why he listens to a sassy teen and not to the very qualified doctors but if it can be used to stop the propery damage related paperwork he causes I'm glad." ).
5. Somehow the random emojis, constant team ups and several casual hang outs are enough to convince Jon that he and Ed are dating. He proceeds to tell it to Autumm who tells it to Miss Tuesday.
6. Now everyone thinks Ed and Jon are a couple except Ed.
7. It lasts until one day they are fighting Batman and Robin casually says "you and your boyfriend are going to Arrkham, Nygma" and Ed's reaction is "Did you hit your head, Boy Wonder? Did Barman's constant child endangerment finnally took it's tool? I don't have a boyfriend" and Jonathan who has being fighting with Edward over his lack of sleep in the last two days and truly didn't sleept just looks at Riddler sadly and says "Are you breaking out with me?"
Ed's reaction is a very confused "Am I breaking out with you? What are you talking about? We were never dating. Has the world gone mad?"
8. At this point Robin is unconfortable and regreting very much the fact he brough the subject up. He was just trying to be supportive. Catwoman had looked very happy when he acknowledged her relationship with Vicky Vale. Apparently he was the first person to not call them "friends" or "sisters". It even helped him realize that when people said Bruce and Harvey used to be "besties" before Two-Face they ment the same thing. So when Miss Tuesday told him Riddler and Scarecrow were dating (they hanged out in costume sometimes, after patrol, she called him brat but was always up for it, mostly they went to the batburguer ordered some junk food and gossiped about heros and villans, he called it "his information gatering mission" when explaining his disapearances to B) he decided that he wouldn't be one of this weirdos and just call them boyfriends. Miss Tuesday sayed it was a great idea.
But noo, Riddler had to be weird about it.
9. They prooced to have a discussion over their relationship. Good side is they agree they are dating actually. Bad side is that they were too distracted over it and now they are in Arkham.

What is your take on Kaname and THW ship if it isn't romantic? How does it compare to Yume?
hello i'm glad you asked! i've been thinking about thie series for a while! and to answer it:
(this is my personal take and you can agree to disagree but i will stand by my opinion. if you ship THWxKaname and aren't happy with my answer please just kindly leave my blog without trying to convince me)
i don't think kaname loves THW romantically although they were in romantic relationship. in the sense of... it's clear there's a panel where she kissed him on the lips so their relationship were romantic.
i think they were together because: at that time, both were looking for companion with same goal in mind. their action were quite controversial. so, they did bond overtime.
but he wasn't attracted to her that much. he didn't have the hots for her like he did to yuki. yeah i'm not even joking on this part. haven't we read enough how much kaname yearn for yuki physically? kaname is literally so horny when it comes to yuki. we've seen how they kiss or drink blood.
(with this description, i'm pretty sure attraction is a big part of relationship for a man like kaname................ god i love him . taken from volume 10 btw)
so THW's kiss with kaname is a pale comparison. in my personal opinion, it's rather one-sided. (THW leaning in for a kiss and kaname's somberly touch her flowing braids... i feel like this could be any woman x kaname if she is the one giving him direction/power/companionship at that time., i think it's expected when two opposite gender that respect and doesn't hate each other spend a lot of time together. he's got his 'he's just a man' moments if you know what i mean when he take blood from ruka)
let's say he had a slight attraction to THW. still, it's already over once she's dead. he also had completely moved on from THW, yuki herself asked if kaname is looking for replacement for her and he said 'no one can be a replacement to anyone'. he didn't lie when he said this. there's literally no need for him to lie. he did regret losing THW but that's it.
(let me add some personal opinions/headcanon : i also don;t think THW and kaname had done anything more than a kiss. i long wondered how did kuran family has descendants if kaname didn't have a child himself back then with THW? if he had one then surely he would had a reason to live , or at least the child will appear in his memory. but, no that just doesn't exist. the more accurate guess would be : perhaps kuran family doesn't consist only ancestor kaname, but he had other siblings/family member who procreated and that is where yuki/rido/juri/haruka came from. the reason why they weren't in picture was because they didn't agree with kaname's goal to live alongside human. so they separated way) (ya know this could be provven wrong in the future VKM chapters as the series is still ongoing but i will stand by my opinion for now as it makes the most sense. if you think about it, someday ai's descendant will call rido as 'kuran ancestor' too.)
rather than in love, it's more appropriate to say kaname is still in the same page with THW when it comes to problem solving. because, they were doing the same quest together. and he actually agree that her plans to kill are purebloods and her decision to sacrifice herself were GOOD SOLUTIONS. when all plans failed, he remembered he could use her solutions.
this is the space where Yuki came in too late to save Kaname. it's not entirely Yuki's fault because Kaname deliberately keeps Yuki away from this problem because he knew how she'd sacrifice herself for him and he don't want that.
when it comes to yume, eventhough kaname sees yuuki as his lover and beloved, he was unable to see her as his equal. perhaps it's due to big age gap between them. therefore, kaname already has this mindset that decide yuki can't handle this much of a problem. and even if she can, he wouldn't let such a baby get involved in this problem.
the point in his struggle is he wants her to live and be free, just like he wanted himself to live and be free. kaname longs for the mortality and carefreeness that might set him free from his responsibility and burden (but he can't, so he try to at least give it to yuki. but OOPS, he turned yuki back into a vampire and now he's gotta keep those purebloods and opposing vampires in check...cause they're not endangerin only him, but yuki as well. not to mention the furnace and vampire hunter weapons are getting less effective.)
kaname meant it when he said yuki has became a hindrance for him. this is exactly why at the end of series, he wanted zero to be with yuki.
originally, that is not what he wanted, he wanted yuki for only himself. this is shown where he turned yuki back into vampire. although this was initiated by yuki. let's admit he partly agree so he could have her by himself. and show zero that yuki is HIS. that was not a part of his original plan.
but then he realized things have gotten too complicated and the price is too high to pay. (the price is yuki's safety and happiness that he fought for long and many times. he also saw that yuki wasn't as happy as she used to be in her new life as vampire and he felt guilty for it)
by the time he said she is a hindrance, he already hated himself. perhaps he already hated himself from a long time ago and now he got to see for himself how far his course of actions have gotten everyone in trouble. he didn't feel like he deserved yuki's warmth for a slightest. for him, it's already over. everything is over. his life is over. he wants nothing but redemption. i think this explains why he's so nonchalant when yuki held him tight. but, he still talked to her once he heard yuki erased zero's memories to chose him.
<Additionally, it explains why he decided to leave after their night together. Things have gone wrong so many times. Why would it work this time? It's the state of a depressed mind.>
ultimately he just want to protect yuki and prevent her from perishing like THW. because, he might not 'love' THW romantically or passionately but her sacrifice showed him how regret feels. he learned from it and try his best to prevent it in the future.
this is also why he rushed to throw his heart into the furnace, he didn't want yuki to change his mind again knowing her safety is at stake. especially when he know yuuki is too empathetic and caring of others.
kaname has this mindset : "If you want to marry an Angel, you must first create Heaven for her. Angels don't live in Hell".
as her ancestor,brother,husband,lover, he feels responsible to yuki's wellbeing.
unironically, he's a simple logical man. he's got a goal in mind and no price is too high to create heaven for yuki, a safe place she can live in. even if the cost is his own life and happiness

So yeah if you had to choose between Hunter or Marcus from Ginny & Georgia, who would you choose? Who do you think is best for Ginny? There are no right or wrong answers.
Why not both? (I'm just kidding!)
For real, though, I do strongly believe both guys have great qualities. While I prefer Marcus and Ginny and Marcus to Hunter, it doesn't mean I dislike Hunter.
Some examples as to why I say what I say, Marcus and Ginny's romantic and overall dynamic chemistry, run pretty deep, like electric, and genuine. If Ginny and Marcus are sitting silently, the silence isn't necessarily awkward or strange but rather comfortable silence, and they're able to read and convey a lot oftentimes in just a glance or a look we have seen that before. It's there to see. Everyone can see it. No words. Brilliant, sometimes things get overlooked or underlooked too and that's where we are now with them.
As a solo character, Marcus brings a lot to the table, both negative and positive. I wouldn't say the dynamic with Ginny is toxic or that he is toxic but rather he's spontaneous, and still romantic though he likes his privacy and to hide his true feelings and typically avoids situations where he has to be vulnerable, as a much better description than simply the vague umbrella term of toxic. He's pretty complex. He is multifaceted and hugely relatable for guys and girls at different times of their lives. He is pretty deep and mature beyond his years and is very empathetic. Overall much better written and a tad more interesting than perhaps his romantic rival.
In contrast, Hunter is a true romantic. He's quick to show it. He wears his emotions outwardly, but it comes off like he tries way too hard, and his openness can make him fall prey to manipulation or even heartbreak. While Hunter has so many great qualities as he's a patient respectful guy, he is also driven, musically inclined, goal-oriented, and highly intelligent he has some flaws. Nobody guy or girl is a perfect 10-full stop.
The general consensus is that mommies would love it if their daughter brought home a Hunter, but not so much a Marcus. Even Georgia wasn't so keen on Marcus or very much on board with the idea of her daughter with him.
Another thing to note is that we got an obvious espy of a Beverly Hills 90210 variety. We got a troubled brooder type ala Dylan McKay in Marcus and a Brandon Walsh boy scout, academic type in Hunter. It's funny that Marcus and Max Baker are the twins, but Hunter is much more Brandon-coded in comparison. Also, not friends.
Another sort of comparison would be how Ryan and Seth are. Except let's face it, Seth's much more humourous than Hunter, and Marcus is a strictly suburban rebel, he likely wouldn't last a day in Chino and it's doubtful he's been to jail/juvie unless it's marijuana-related. Also, I doubt Hunter or Marcus would be friends, they're not enemies, just not friends. They're pretty much civil, I suppose from what I can see.
In short, both have strengths and weaknesses. I ultimately think I'm team Marcus. I too can relate to depression and how to navigate life with it. Mental health no matter what poses a challenge in relationships across the board, be it platonic, family, romantic nature, personal, or otherwise. I think and predict that I highly doubt Marcus and Ginny will be apart much longer as they still have a lot of love for each other, despite whatever is going on at this time, there is still hope for a possible reunion. If anything if any relationship is worth a second glance, it's them.

A/n: I'm planning on make only 10 chapters of this story. So please enjoy me and my friend @jaehyunsblkgf literally had so much fun making this and I know I say that everytime but we really do have fun putting together this story ♥
Niki was in fact not fine. She was thinking about how she was going to handle this situation with jungwon. She didn't want to come off aggressive because what if he thought she didn't trust him then that would lead to other things. Jungwon was known to be really sensitive about topics that obtained him talking about past relationships so niki never pressed him on. Until she heard Xoe. Xoe was jungwons longest relationship that started all the way in middle school until they broke up at the start of highschool. It was a mess too.
Jungwon broke up with Xoe; saying he didn't love her anymore and he didn't think it would be fair for the both of them to be in a one sided relationship. But he still wanted to be friends And Xoe didn't take it well. At all. They apparently had a screaming match in the hallway and everyone watched it. She accused Jungwon of cheating and saying he never loved her and that made Jungwon heated. They exchanged words that resulted in Xoe slapping Jungwon and walking away from him. From that day on they never talked again.
Niki couldn't concentrate on the game while all these thoughts were running through her mind, but y/n was invested in the game. Yelling with the crowd at every goal and even screaming at the referee when they gave sunoo a yellow card. Jake could hear her all the way from the field screaming his name and it made him want to score a point every time he got the ball.
Jay passed Jake the ball as they were running up the field and he could hear you screaming his name as he was going around the other players and knocking some down. He felt like he was flying until the ball was taken from him. Out of confusion he stopped moving for a millisecond until he saw the number 10 running up the field with the ball the same direction he was. Jeno. he kicked the ball and made it into the goal and the crowd went wild. But Jake was fuming. Jeno was high fiving his teammates and Jake was glaring at him as he walked past him. “That was my goal.” Jeno just smirked at him. “Yeah I know but we can't let you hog all the spotlight.” Jeno looked up at the stands smiling. Jake looked over his shoulder and saw you holding a sign that said “ IM #10 BIGGEST FAN GO JENO” in glittery letters. You were smiling jumping up and down. Jeno walked closer to Jake “ dont forget your place I was hers first.” he bumped his shoulder walking to the benches jake clenched his fist
“Hey man, what the hell was that?” Jay said running over to him with his arm out pointing to the goal but Jake just walked past him mummering nothing. Jake was going to get his goal back. No matter what.
Jungwon was looking up at the crowd looking for Niki hoping to see his girlfriend jumping up and down for him but instead he saw her sitting. Why was she sitting? She never sat at one of his games. Like ever. Concern washed over his face as he watched her. He knew he wouldn't be able to focus all the way without knowing what was wrong with her.
Jake was going hard on the field harder than he's ever gone. Jake was going to get that goal and that opportunity showed itself and best believe Jake took it. Kicked the ball as hard as he could making it into the goal and his team went crazy. He immediately looked for you in the crowd and you were smiling and waving . He blew a kiss at you yelling how he made the goal for you and how it would be the first of many. And he wasn't lying. In the span of 10 minutes jake made 3 goals. That goofy smile was stuck on his face as make hand hearts and kisses at you after every goal. He was definitely going to get a kiss after the game from you. Jeno was fuming watching you smile at him all lovingly it made him sick. You were supposed to be smiling at him like that, not Jake sim. Jake had the ball again but Jeno wasn't going to let him get this one. Jeno watched Jake run up the field towards the goal and ran towards another player from the opposite team acting like he was going to shove him but instead Jeno slid knocking into Jake causing both boys to collide hitting the ground. The ball was wicked out of bounce and the crows collectively gasped. You rose to your feet holding onto the rail in front of you trying to see if anyone was hurt. Jeno was the first one to get and Jake followed after him but you spoke too soon seeing Jake shove Jeno hard making the boy falter backwards. Niki was finally up on her feet beside you watching the boys exchange shoves until some teammates pulled them apart leading them in different directions. “ What the heck just happened.” niki said looking at me then back at the field. “ I have no idea.” jake was taken to the locker room while Jeno was sitting on the benches getting yelled at by their coach but you could tell her wasn't listening
“I'm gonna go check on jake.” I said , grabbing my purse rushing past the crowd of people on the bleachers. I made it to the back rushing to the locker room that was just around the corner past the food vendors. I turned quickly knocking into someone causing them to drop the drink in their hand. Why was I knocking into so many people today? “ watch where you're going.” the voice said, picking the cup off the ground as you grabbed it at the same time. Then I noticed the rose gold cartier bracelet wrapped around her wrist. Looked up at her and my heart dropped into my stomach. It was Tejiri. She looked me in the eye and smirked at me rising to her feet and I shot to mine grabbing the strap of my purse in my hand clenching it. “Oh wow how ironic this is.” she said, looking me up and down.” just the person i wanted to talk to.” Where was Amilla when I wanted her to intervene? “ your y/n right.” I nodded and she smiled. “ You're very pretty.” I was flattered at her words, surprised that those words would come from her. “T-thank you.” “ but not as pretty as me.” my eyes widened in shock. “I mean don't get me wrong you definitely beat the others he was with after me, but i guess after we broke up his taste changed-” she tilted her head. “ drastically.” the smirk grew on her face as my smile dropped. She walked closer to me.
“ oh don't look to0 shock jake always goes for personality i guess.'' I dug my nails into my purse strap in anger. “ I guess you're on your way to the locker room to go check on him after what happened, how caring of you. But let me let you in on a little secret.'' She bent down to make eye contact with me and her gaze was very intimidating. “ Jake isn't who you think he is. He holds all his feelings and never wants to tell you how he's feeling in a certain moment so sometimes you have to pull it out of him forcefully. That's just the person he is. So I want you to try something for me.” I gulped, praying she couldn't hear me. “ when you guys are on one of your little dates at the park or that stupid pancake place he loves so much.” my breath hitched at the mention of the pancake spot and my Tejiri smile grew even more. “ I want you to think of me. I want you to think about everything i told you today and put all that into consideration on if you want to be with jake.” her smile dropped into a serious face. The air around me was getting hard to swallow
“ I'm only trying to help you. Jake is known to ruin lives. I just don't want him to ruin yours like he did everyone else's.” she pouted, rising up to her full height. She threw the empty cup in the trash. “ Now run along, you dont wanna keep Jake waiting hes pretty hot headed when he gets worked up like this. Could never calm him down.” she smirked turning around and walking away.
It took everything in you not to get angry or do anything stupid, but apart of you kept replaying what she said played in your mind. Both what Tejiri and Amilia said were damaging.
Jake was in the locker room slamming his fist into the locker repeatedly putting a dent into it
" fuck." He looked at his knuckles. Heesueng was definitely going to chew him out for ruing school property and for losing his temper.
He didn't know why jeno made him so angry usually he would be able to walk away for things like this but something changed he just didn't know what.
"Jake, are you in here?" He quickly wrapped a small towel around his knuckle and stood up in front of the locker to hide it from your eyes. He heard your footsteps coming and within seconds you were in front of him.
My eyes scanned him to matke sure he was okay. After that display on the field, everyone would be talking about it. My eyes glanced around the room; the landed on the slightly dented locker Jake was standing in front of. Tilting my head to side to get a better look, I saw his fist wrapped up. “Jake, what happened?” I asked worriedly. He slowly backed away as I inched closer to him.
“Does it hurt?” I asked as his back came in contact with the cold surface of the locker. He nodded looking down at fist. Jake was turn inside himself, there was a lot of confusion. The moment you held up that sign with Jeno’s name, it hurt him a little. He wanted to be the only you supported, that you were there for him.
“I’m going to see if Niki has an ice pack okay?”, I said as I started turning to leave. Until, I felt him grab my arm. Stopping my movement, “Do you have feelings for Jeno?”, He whispered, but it was still loud enough for you to hear. You froze in your position before slowly turning to face him. His eyes glued to you, searching your face for any sign of expression.
“What? Why would you ask that?”, I questioned him. My stomach turned at the sudden question. At one point I did but I don’t have feelings for Jeno. I think. “The sign”, he muttered.
“I was just being a supportive friend”, I stated, as I felt the warmth from his grip spread throughout my body. “You’re the only one” I took a deep breath as my eyes met his, “I have feelings for”. I said the last part quietly, too afraid of exposing myself.
He pulled me closer to him, my body was now pressed against his which was leaning on the locker. His good arm slowly worked its way around my waist, “So may I?” he asked, inching his face closer to mine.
Our faces were so close, I felt his warm breath on my face. “Yes,” I whispered. His lips brushed against mine, sending waves through my body as he kissed me. It was a kiss sweeter than sugar, I wanted to stay in that moment forever. His lips were soft and felt good against mine.
He turned and gently pushed me into the lockers.
I wrapped my arms around his neck deepening the kiss. He smiled into the kiss “someone's eager.” I pulled away from him pouting a little and he rubbed my bottom lip with his thumb staring down at me. His eyes darkened. “ I didn't say stop.” he leaned down to connect our lips again. “ Jake hyung, are you here?”
He groaned, rolling his eyes. “ this better not become a habit.”he said under his breath, moving away from me. “ Jake i've been looking for you ever-” heeseung stopped when he saw me on the locker and jake standing in front of me. “Oh, am I interrupting something?” Jake glared at him mouthing something but heeseung just swatted him off. “I don't really care Jake, they want you back on the field.” he nodded, then looked at me kissing my cheek slowly then looking at me smiling. “ I'll see you after the game, okay, we can go get food after.” i nodded and he kissed my hand walking towards heeseung.
The game was finally over and the boys were on the field celebrating their win even after the incident that happened. Niki rushed to the ground hugging jungwon as i waited for jay at the gate patiently. Asi waited i saw Tejiri walking towards the exit looking back at me and smirking disappearing into the crowd. “y/n” i looked and jeno was walking towards me with his duffle over his shoulder. He went in for a hug but i slapped the back of his head.
“ owww what did i do.” i crossed my arms looking up at him. “ oh i dont know maybe fight your own team mate.” he sucked his teeth rolling his eyes. “Hey he started it first he should be the one getting hit not me.” i smirked.”dont worry i already handled that but i expected more from you jeno.” he nodded “yeah i guess my temper got the best of me today.” he looked down at the poster i was holding and he grabbed it from me. “Ohhh i see you made the poster i could see it all the way from the field.” he smiled and my heart pinged. I always did like Jeno’s smile.
It was bright and pretty, it was comforting on the days I was sad, “If you start another fight, I’ll stop making you posters”, he laughed “I’m serious Jeno”. He huffed. " Okay okay I'm sorry." I smiled ruffling his hair." Okay so where are we going to eat I'm starving." He asked I widened my eyes. " oh my gosh jeno I'm so sorry I totally forgot about after game dinner." He shrugged. " it's fine no worries we can just go to the dinner down the street." He grabbed my hand walking towards the exit but stopped when I didn't move. " no jeno I kind told jake I would get dinner with him tonight."
Jeno's face fell clenching his jaw." What." I bit my lip. " I'm sorry it's my fault I should of asked you if you wanted to eat after." He rolled his eyes looking at the sky. " are you upset?" His chest moved up showing he was breathing and he looked down at me and smiled. " don't worry about it, we can just get dinner another time." He was trying his best not to lose his temper again like he did on the field already. This Jake guy was really messing with him. And he couldn't have that happen daily." No, this is our ritual. I'll just cancel on jake." Jeno bit back a smile. " what no I wouldn't want you to do that." You shook your head. " what no it's fine I've been hanging out with jake all week he'll understand."
Jeno nodded" Okay well since you insist." You told him you would meet him by his car in 20 minutes and that you had to say bye to jake. You went to find Jake and he was changing his shoes putting his cleats in his duffle. "Hey." He looked up at me. " hey I was wondering where you were." He hopped up hugging me. " Yeah sorry." He pulled away smiling at me grabbing his duffle."Come on I'm hungry." I winced and he looked back at me frowning his eyebrows. "What's wrong?" "I sorta made plans already and forgot about them. Can we rain check?" he frowned. “ oh yeah sure ill just go to dinner with the boys no problem.” i smiled pecking his lips.” thank you i promise i'll make it up to you.``i hugged him and ran off waving bye.
Jake sighed kicking the grass at his feet watching you walk towards the gate.” Jake come on were going to hotpot. Riki yelled waving his friend over. Jake threw his bag over his shoulder walking to his friends. “Wheres y/n is she not coming with us.” sunoo pouted jake shook his head telling them she had plans already.”wheres jungwon.” i asked looking around for him. “Oh he when to look for niki he said theyll meet us there now lets go its almost 10.” riki ran towards the exit and we followed him .” hey i saw y/n talking to jeno is everything okay between you too.” jake looked at sunghoon with hs eyes brows frowned. “ yeah why wouldnt they be.” “um you kinda did push around her besfriend.” jake laughed. “ it was jus a little disagreement okay and y/n can talk to whoever she wants to”.
Deep down inside Jake did feel a little hurt that you decided to go with Jeno, but after the kiss; he was feeling more secure. I glanced around looking for Niki, everyone was waiting for her and Jungwon. I wanted to talk to her before I left with Jeno. “Are you ready to go?”, He asked as he adjusted the duffle bag on his shoulder. “Uh yea one sec”. My eyes widened as I noticed Niki spawn out of nowhere, and as usual Jungwon glued to her.
“Babe listen to me”, Won whispered, taking her hand into his, “Don’t let her get to you. She always does this-”. Niki was frustrated and tired of thing happening. “When will she leave you alone? When is she going to stop bothering us?”. Won’s heart cracked a little as he saw her fight back tears as they got closer to their friends. “I promise you babe, This is the last time”, he said. Won wasn’t one to get angry, but messing with his relationship was were he drew the line
There was some tension between the two as they approached me, It was unsettling. Niki and Jungwon were the perfect couple, I’ve never seen them like this. Is this why Niki was acting weird during the game? I thought to myself. “We’re going to go home” Won said looking at Niki for confirmation, in which she nodded. I wanted to ask if she was okay but Ithought it was better to give them a moment. “Uh yea That’s okay”, I smiled. “I’ll call you later”, she said as she took Won’s hand and began to walk away.
I whipped out my phone; quickly sending a message to soccer group chat telling them the situation. “We need to get going”, Jeno’s voices rang in your ear. “Okay, let’s go”, I stated as I saw Jake’s respond to my message with cute little hearts at the end.
Maybe tejiri was wrong and everything will work out in my favor.

okay here we go!
You were home alone since you knew Niall was out with Lewis for the evening, so you grabbed his precious guitar and sat on the bed, back against the headboard and started tuning it.
You and Niall had been together basically since he left the band, even if you had just stayed friends for a while, quickly that changed and you had been living together for about 3 years.
Something you both agreed on was keeping your relationship 'inside'. Is not like Niall wouldn't show you off or take you out all the time to spoil you and everything, you just agreed that it would be better for you. Niall loved you too much to let you be affected or even a part of his public life.
He had started it way too young and he knew how much that could affect anyone, so he never wanted to expose you to that. And you, well, you liked to keep it more to yourself.
Your work was enough and you liked to know a part of him that no one else knew. Also, you were his biggest fan and you really didn't want to be 'defending' your title online.
So now, here you were in your shared bedroom with his precious guitar and a whole bunch of papers with chords.
You were never to think you were a profissional or even that good, it was just a hobby you had. Maybe that was why you never really told Niall you could play, scared that you would disappoint him for not being that good or that he would laugh. Not that he would, you know that, but that early in a relationship and with Niall playing the guitar for about 10 years made you feel real intimidated.
When you finished 'Hotel California', feeling satisfied with yourself you moved on to Taylor Swift. Both you and Niall really liked her music and you were trying to learn 'lover' being one of your and his favourites.
Playing it slowly, you kept coming back to the start until you finally got it right. When you got halfway through, you messed it up and you joked around a bit before getting back to your goal.
That's when Niall walked in. He found it weird at first, thinking you were playing some kind of acustic version he hadn't heard of but then he recognised your voice and tried as careful as he could not to disturb you with a smile on his face.
The thing about Niall is that he knew you well enough to know you had a smile on your face. He opened the bedroom door, keeping very still so you wouldn't notice him as you kept playing.
You were halfway through the chorus when you opened your eyes to check if you messed up or not, and you noticed Niall. Immediately you froze.
"Hey babe." He smiled, getting closer to you and giving you a quick kiss on the lips before sitting in front of you. "Don't stop on my account." His tone was a little teasing but it helped you calm down the nerves, so you got back to playing the tune since you got it right and Niall started singing with you.
You laughed when you finished, carefully putting the guitar a side before reaching to hug him. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you before."
"I don't think you can just get away with saying sorry with talent like that." He joked again, making you laugh. "How long have you played?"
"Since I was 15." You looked at your fingers, now in your lap. "It was always just a hobby and since you are a professional I guess I was just scared."
"C'mon, we gotta play together." He said, completely ignoring you. you both knew you were okay, and this wasn't a thing to fight over or for you to feel bad about. Niall just wanted to show you how proud he was, so he left the room to get another of his acustic guitars before sitting back on the bed with you.
He looked through your paper before setting his phone on the night stand, hitting record. He chose 'cardigan' also by Taylor.
"What are you doing?" You asked with a laugh, looking at him going back to his place in front of you but not before leaving a kiss on your lips.
"Gotta show my girl and her talent off." He smirked against your lips.
quickly he gave you a sign and you both started playing. You took it as a hit to start singing first and you kept switching until the song was over.
You both sat the guitars aside before niall crushed you into a bear hug like he usually did, making you laugh out loud, hugging him back and loving to feel his weight on you.
"Is she amazing or what?" He said to the camera when he stopped recording.
He laid back down next to you and you both watched the video before Niall asked you to post it, giving you a million kisses before you finally said yes.
After the dinner you both cleaned the kitchen together, with you singing as loudly as your voice would let you, a smile present on yours and your lovers face.

Hello there! Well wow that's a big deal...idk why you guys think but...I swear I'm not that good with couple's therapy LMAO. Ok, let's try to figure it out anyway. *summoning Mrs Mariella (click here if you haven't met her yet)*. Tis is going to be a loooooooooong post.
What to do if you have a crush outside your relationship:
Hmm...so this is going to soung bad but: It's fun to have a crush, it won't stop happening just because you're in a relationship. There are some cool and attractive people out there, no big deal. Crushes come and go and if you let them go, they will. you don't really have to do anything about it.
Be sure to stay in the boundaries of your relationship. So my thumb rule would be: "don't do anything you wouldn't want your partner to do" but feel free to adapt this to your couple's personal boundaries.
DON'T PANIC. This does not mean that you wanna get out of your relationship (especially in this case...from how you're talking about this, chill). It can mean you're craving some more novelty.
Figure out what you like about this crush (NOT THE PERSON! THE CRUSH ITSELF!! THIS IS IMPORTANT, KEEP IT IN MIND.) Because the feelings you like about your new crush are usually something you'd love to experience more with your partner. (being more wanted, being more silly...dress up more nicely, experience new spicy things). It's not something your partner has to be, it's some feeling you crave so...figure out what it is/how you can have it/why you don't have it already and what are the steps YOU can take to make it happen, with your partner's collaboration.
OPTIONAL: Once you figured out the previous point (because it's your job, not your partner's job to do so) talk with your partner about it.

Thank you for giving me an excuse to gush about JJK and Dorohedoro! I'll cover drhdr in a seperate post to not make this one too long.
favourite "male" character: Kenjaku (putting them here because they currently have a male body)
They are basically everything I like in a villain. Intelligent, funny, not sadistic but still cruel, bit of a Mad Scientist/Doctor, well calculated plan, ganre-savvy, queer. What I especially love is how they are such a threat without needing to resort to direct violence. No big flashy shonen battle. They pull the strings in the background and let others do the dirty work for them. Just saying the right thing to the right people was enough to push Tokyo into chaos. They're all about fight smart not hard. I could go on for hours but just gonna leave it with, I'm looking forward to seeing how their connection to Yuuji will cause conflict in the future.
favourite female character: Uro Takako
Crazy how she has been here for less than 10 ch and she's already in my top 3. Can't wait to seeing more of her past and how her conflict with Yuuta will develop. That strife for individuality is what I really admire about her. She has been given a 2nd chance in life and she's gonna make the most out of it, become what she was never allowed to be. If we come down to it, she isn't that different to the protagonists, they basically have the same goal (survive the CG), Yuuta was just being an idiot when talking to her. I would like to know what she plans to do when the CG is over. What are her new goals in life.
least favourite character: There aren't any characters I really hate. There's assholes like Naoya but he isn't relevant enough to have strong feelings about him. I would say out of all of them I like Geto the least. He is a very well written character and seeing his downfall adds a lot to the story, I just don't like him as a person. And as an antagonist he commited the gravest sin of having a stupid plan. Killing ~70% of the world population for the way they were born? Aside from morals, it wouldn't even fix the issue he had with jujutsu society and there will always be non-sorcerers born from sorcerers. He could've gone after Tengen and the higher-ups with Gojo but no... Good thing he lost his brain, he wasn't using it anyway. And that whole monkey talk, ugh. If he comes back in some form, I hope Maki kills him again. Thanks to Sakurai's va he is very entertaining in the movie though.
prettiest character: Gojo in the anime but to such an extreme that it goes into uncanny valley at times. The actual prettiest one would be...Mei Mei? She's a horrible person but she does look very good.
funniest character: Takaba Kenjaku probably. I like their nasty humor. "I don't remember taking out your brains too" is still one of my favourite lines. And that smile they gave Wasuke
favourite arc: I've been loving basically everything since the CG started but my fave would be Perfect Preparation. It has so many good moments. The Zenin Massacre, Tengen reveal, background on Kenjaku and their plan/relationship w Tengen, Yaga's death and the information about Cursed Corpses, the introduction of Kirara and Hakari. My only complaint is that Yaga's death and the Zenin Clan could've been build up better but that's due to Akutami's burnout, so I understand. Hopefully the anime will ellaborate on it w e.g. the information about the Zenin Clan we got from the Volume specials. It would be really interesting to see Maki's time in the Kukuru unit at some point in the manga or anime.
favourite chapter/moment: The chapter I've read the most would be ch 145. So much juicy information. There are a lot of great moments in other chapters but this is the one I come back to most often to read it from start to finish. As for favourite moment, the wolf-rabbit chase scene with Yuuji and Mahito. So chilling. The look in Yuuji's eyes, damn. Can't wait to see that animated.
favourite ship: Kenjaku/Jin
In exorcism movies I always thought "why not just talk to the demon?" Jin took it a whole mile further and married the demon. Agreed to make the antichrist with the demon... I really want to know more about their relationship. Jin is definitely sussy. Kenjaku isn't a good actor, so everyone who willingly stays with them for 9+ months must have some problems. There is also the great horror potential that comes with slowly realizing that your partner has been replaced by someone else. Or that your new girlfriend has jars w aborted fetuses in her basement.
favourite family ship: Honestly, the more we learn about Yuuji's (extended) family the messier it gets and I love that. As for family-like relationships: Jogo's group. It's heartwarming to see them play, argue and hang out like normal people. Really got me when they all -except for Mahito - met in the afterlife(?) again.
favourite friend ship: Yuuji and Megumi
The care and trust they have for each other despite having differing views in certain regards is really refreshing to see. I'm glad they aren't just rivals and I hope they won't be forced to fight each other but with Sukuna having plans for Megumi...
worst ship: Anything along the lines of Gojo/Yuuji, Higuruma/Yuuji or Gojo/Megumi. Really wish those ships weren't so popular

I'm doing another one of these because they're fun and if I keep posting things then eventually people will see it
1. Does he ever get married? Yep! I've said it before, but he and Ray get married about a year after gay marriage is legalized in the state of NY.
2. Any kids? No. He wanted to adopt, but never got the chance when he was younger and by the time he was in a stable position for it, he no longer felt suited to raise a child.
(Pre-Frozen Empire side note, I like to think that Ray and Dustin would come to treat Phoebe and Trevor like grandkids after Afterlife)
3. When's his birthday? March 20th.
4. What colors do I associate with him? Black and denim blue.
5. What animals do I associate with him? Cats and horses.
6. What flowers do I associate with him? None, mostly because I don't know very many kinds of flowers. I think he would like dandelions.
7. Favorite and least favorite foods? Favorite would be either pancakes or lasagna. Least favorite would be jelly/cream-filled donuts.
8. Greatest strength? Greatest flaw? His greatest strength would probably be his ability to keep a cool head in moments of crisis, but his greatest flaw goes hand in hand with that as he struggles with emotional vulnerability.
9. What's his greatest goal in life? At this point, stability. He wants to be able to live out the rest of his days happily, with Ray at his side, his friends in his life, and no more huge paranormal disasters.
10. Have I developed his family? I've worked some on his direct family, but I don't think he's very close with the family outside of that. He's got his parents, who die sometime in the 00s, and six siblings, most of them being older.
11. What actor would I cast as him? Easy. Bruce Campbell. Well, not actually so easy. It took me a long time to find an actor who fit what I was looking for. Mostly I didn't know how to find someone. Before I found Bruce Campbell, I considered Richard Gere, but I think I made the right choice.
12. Favorite movie? TV show? Book? He really liked the original Star Wars movies when they came out. His favorite show has to be Murder, She Wrote, and he loves mystery and detective novels.
13. Does he have a good relationship with his parents? Yes. He called them often after he moved out to the city, and lived with them during their last few years.
14. How's his relationship with his siblings? He's closest with his older sister Alice and his younger sister Ruth. He's fairly close with his second oldest brother, Andrew, but he doesn't talk to Michael or Tommy much. His other younger sister, Ruth's twin Evelyn, died when they were young.
15. Was Dustin in love with anyone before Ray? Sort of. He had a short relationship as a teenager, but got his heart broken and gave up on love for a few years.
16. Did he enjoy school? Eh. Didn't hate it, didn't love it, didn't move on to college.
17. Any pets? Yep, a calico cat named Spooks.
18. Greatest fear? Losing his loved ones. Evelyn's death was hard on him and the day Egon left was one of the worst days of his life.
19. Who are his close friends? Obviously the Ghostbusters. Aside from Ray, he wouldn't say he's closer to any of them over the others. They all have their own things they share with each other.
20. What are his hobbies? Reading and horseback riding mainly. He has lots of other interests, but none of them are quite hobbies.
21. Most embarrassing secrets? It's not so much a secret, but he is incredibly embarrassed about how often he forgets that ghosts are intangible.
22. What's his job? Ghostbuster/mechanic, we know this, it's like the whole point of the blog.
23. Is he religious? Not really. He was raised Christian, but doesn't believe in God anymore.
24. How does he sleep? Like a bear. Curled up, arms tight around Ray, not waking up for anything. He does get up pretty early, though.
25. Where'd his name come from? Shower thoughts. The progression was Red > Rusty > Dusty > Dustin. I never came up with a fitting last name and at this point I don't plan to.

Jumping into something new has always made me anxious. For quite some time, I've been wondering when I would write this type of post. To start, it may seem petty (2012 me speaking here), but depending on who you ask I may or may not have an ex. That is a story for another day, but I've learned a lot about the ways of the heart, especially mine. For the last 10 years, I've been learning to grow into myself. My self esteem wasn't the greatest in my last relationship. So I vowed to turn it around, so much so that 2012 me wouldn't recognize who I'd become and yet still be proud. I made sure I could enjoy my own company and focused on my goals.
Sure yes, I lived out my 20s the way any college student would. And at times, freely waltzing in and out of arms of those not meant for me. It was freeing just as it was fleeting. I needed to figure who I was and what I wanted. Though I couldn't help but want to be wanted as well. I may have stumbled and become slightly guarded along the way, but I wouldn't change those experiences at all.
Fast forward to today, I'm comfortable in my own skin, confident in my abilities, working on areas I could be better, essentially self aware and self assured. I know my worth and what I deserve, and I should not settle for less than that. But before I remind myself what I'm looking for in a partner, I'll remind myself how I would be as a partner.
Give love the way my partner wants to receive love, ask and communicate this early on and throughout
Support their passions and endeavors
Make them feel safe, heard, and seen especially in times of disagreement
Let them grow as an individual in the rich lives they already lead before I stepped in (this is a callback to my previous self)
Keep negative emotions from my personal/professional life from spilling over through me and into the relationship (it's okay to talk/vent about them if my partner's space allows)

In a partner, I'm looking simply for someone who is hopefully as self assured, growth and goal oriented, emotionally open with me, looking to challenge and engage each other, a touch nerdy, and is kind to themselves, their family, and others around them.
For the first time in awhile, I've met someone who is just that. She has a world she enthusiastically shares with me, which in the wrong hands (and ears) could feel foreign and overwhelming. But I so longingly welcome. She says it's been so long since conversation felt natural. I told her I used to feel anxious and place pressure into meeting someone new for the first time when really I should enjoy getting to know someone without expectations, that's when I'm truly myself. My heart's not crazy beating. My stomach's not flipping on itself. My mind's not consumed 24/7. I feel calm and at ease. I owe all of what I feel and think to the work I've done on myself the past few years. It is a great feeling in being understood, but even more powerful when I understand myself first.
And though it may be early to define what this all is, we are taking things slow. We're enjoying the time in each other's company and both on the same page of where we'd like to go.

Here fam have some background things to have for whenever I do get to the oc fics in terms of like Canon add-ons / changes bc fuck it why not go full out because ahahahaha. these will be shown in better detail with the prequel fic but also I'm slow, we're hitting the busy season at work and I just wanna blab about the oc stuff so this is a good way to set up background bc a lot of thought went into this bw me and my friends
Raphael is about 2-3 years younger than Cecelia and Maddox. When he was found on the island, Cecelia had maybe a couple months left alive.
The Guardians he had were originally part of a game / story that Max had set up for all of the kids in the family to play together, mostly as a means of keeping Cecelias spirits high. I'm also now realizing Eatos probably did in fact take inspiration from his mother and now I am Sad.
Max's parents had their own business and they weren't really as interested in Max or you know anything about their son. So he really did latch onto Cecelias family as his own. They also passed away on the Harmonia.
Mason, Kat and Cecelias father, was longtime friends with Alisters parents and they were considered to be members of the family as much as the Griffins were. However, everything that happened with them getting in the war torn country and then Alister becoming the lone survivor started after Miruko/Mikey was only 2.
Raphael is related through the family because his mother and Kat and Cecelias mother Evangeline were first cousins.
There is in fact a family tree and there have been discussions between me and Kohaku about all of the family bc we love them your honor.
The first Duel Monsters tournament happens when Kat is about 10-11 and its also low key the first time Seto ever sees her and one of his goals is to meet her because he's got a puppy crush. Then they meet a couple years later and it's just rivalry. Straight up ready to Duel whenever and wherever.
Evangeline and Gozaburo also ran in similar circles and thought highly of each other and if that doesn't tell you everything you needed to know about Kats mom idk what will. She didn't get to be around the Kaiba boys as much, though, usually they were too busy not really paying attention to their children (except Cecelia in Evies case), Kat and Cecelia didnt attend many parties (esp with Cecelias health and Kat doesn't like crowds and Mason didnt want them around a bunch of snooty assholes), and she only has a vague memory of a teal haired kid at a party or two but wouldn't be able to say "oh, yeah, Gozaburo had a kid before Seto and Mokuba".
The only reason they were even at the one Cecelia met Max at was because of family obligations for it.
The Big 5 are the literal worst. Just. Just all the time. Don't trust anything they do or say.
Especially not Nesbitt or Johnson.
I do also have their family dynamics figured out and also how Nesbitt spent years gaslighting Meredith in their affair about his relationship with his wife he tried to tell her he was divorcing. It's a whole mess.
Iris and River meet Seto and Mokuba about two months after they were adopted.
Seto takes over the company at the age of 13, Gozaburo still does the window thing and Seto transforms KaibaCorp into a successful gaming company.
Roland had been working for the family since probably Noa was alive but he was under strict rules to not discuss him after his death, if we go that route. He looked out for Seto and Mokuba and he and Meredith got close because they were both trying to find ways to help the brothers and give them the life they deserve and then they fell in love and are adorable.
Seto gets the Blue Eyes cards by whatever means he can, usually in feats of his own strength and has them all by the time he enters his first tournament three months after he becomes KCs president.
Death-T probably won't happen which sucks cause it's my favorite. But it's because Seto has people who would very much hold him back from doing something in that nature and offer him a bit more stability. But he's still. He's still very much Kaiba he still rips up the 4th Blue Eyes and gets smug and super competitive and makes bad calls and Iris wants to strangle him. But if he had tried to spend 8 billion yen to murder one (1) fucking teenager, Iris would have thrown him into the sun and River would have helped.
Nana and Yugi moved in with their grandparents when they were very young and their parents aren't really in the picture. Their grandma passed away when Nana was 15 and it was really sad for them all.
Nana once attempted the Puzzle but didn't get as attached and focused on it as her brother did and has been cheering him on.
Yugi solves the Puzzle when he's 15 or 16 and then the events of the manga play out.
The gang will be 17ish by the time Duelist Kingdom pans out or are turning 17/18.
Miho and Tomoya will be featured more prominently and as proper members to the gang and show up throughout the series with Joey, Tea, and Tristan. Ryou will also be getting more focus.
