hello!! just came across your jaehyun fic “name” and i just wanna say it’s super interesting! love the boss b+tch vibe for the reader and the little notes on how different idol!jaehyun is to the jaehyun that you got to know through short texts. love the ending as well and that it leaves a lot to imagination 🤍 great fic!
hello! wow i’m super glad to hear you liked that one! that little fic is one i didn’t quite know how to categorize, nor did i really seek an audience for it. it was mainly a challenge for myself to see what else i could write and how i would handle other topics and dynamics. the boss bitch vibe was definitely at the forefront when writing it hahaha, so i’m glad that came through well. :)
thank you so much for sending this ask in to let me know what you thought, i really do appreciate it. <3

Yippee time for some oc headcanons because its my enrichment time <3
Vaelora!!!
- Her favourite flowers to plant are poppies because they got that sweet sweet opium in em, but she’s also kinda fond of em just cause they’re pretty
- Has probably been gifted a few masks to hide her weird birthmark (phantom of the operacoded), usually refuses to wear them out of discomfort but sometimes caves and wears them to big events she’s required to go to
- She was given Nightshade’s egg as a baby, honestly didn’t expect it to ever hatch but surprise! It did when she was like, in her 20’s or so, she probably got to ride her dragon once before kicking the bucket
- Has gone into the cranberry bog. Only once though
- She was definitely married at some point because she has Aeryn (and ol Jae probably wouldn’t be letting her go outside ever if she had a bastard *cough* Gael *cough*), but ngl her husband is…. Kinda unimportant, to me, so I just headcanon him as being a Crabb that died when their son was a baby
- She maybe probably definitely poisoned her husband but don’t worry about that
- Loves Aeryn because he’s her sweet special little quiet boy but has very much fed him a lot of fucked up homemade versions of sweetsleep and milk of the poppy, and probably tried even more fucked up medicines whenever he got sick
- It’s okay though! He survived! Mostly
- Has probably a dozen notebooks on her plant research, some of it is definitively about the trials she did on animals and other plants cause she definitely wasn’t sharing the human tests until after she died
- She absolutely has a shitty relationship with her parents which didn’t help her godawful reputation- but Jae and Aly didn’t really like… Do anything abt her weirdness, mostly because she didn’t step out of line until the witch rumours started popping up
- Was probably a bit mad when Rhaenys got passed over for Baelon. Not because of any legitimate reason she just hates her loudass older brother and his dumbass kids
- Not normal about any of her siblings tbh. Girl’s relationships were crazyyy
- She’s half blind in one eye. Nobody really knows why cause her birthmark doesn’t really hurt or anything so that’s kinda unique ig
- Grew weed in Aegon’s garden. Totally medicinal she totally wasn’t smoking blunts guys I promiseeeee
Naera
- loveddd a lot of physical activities. horseback riding and hawking queen <3
- Was proud to be a targ to like, an obnoxious degree. Definitely wore a lot of dragon imagery on her outfits even when she got married into another house
- Honestly looks a lot like Myriah, and that’s kinda on purpose! They also have an increasingly toxic relationship with her cause I said so!
- … ngl I kinda made her a lot like Rhaenyra in terms of personality, if Rhaenyra was like, not interested in the throne and spent 100% more of her brain cells wanting to kiss more women
- Definitely a daddy’s girl, one of Daeron’s favourites aside from obvious golden child Baelor and used that status to get away with everythingggg, even if Myriah wouldn’t take any of her fuckery
- With that though, it would probably take her doing something really bad to get Daeron angry enough to send her away- so I think the probable breaking point was her coming onto one of her brothers’ betrothed/wives, ngl I kinda hc it to be Aelinor because I always love putting this queen in situations <3
- Because I give slightly more of a shit about her husband- I’m gonna name him Theo! He’s probably a Tyrell or from a minor Tyrell branch and also a second son, but Naera was allowed to choose him so she was looking less at status and more… Willingness to ignore all her possible affairs because he’s nice and also a little naive lol
- Their first kid is a girl named Thea after her dad, and continuing the bad family relationship they do not get along that much. Even less when Naera marries her off to a Tyrell cousin and basically adopts a new daughter
- Second kid is a son named Forrest. His most interesting traits is that he’s kinda sickly and also tries to claim the throne after Maekar’s death before his mama tells him to sit the fuck down and mind his dang business
- Her third unofficial kid is her handmaid/lover’s daughter Ella, who’s probably treated the best because Naera like, actually wanted to be a mom for her so she gets spoiled and taken pretty much everywhere she wants
- When it comes to the whole “cutting off your hand and throwing it at the pirate captain” thing, that was insane but like, I cannot emphasize enough that it wasn’t in a girlboss way. Animal caught in bear trap moment
- It was surprising it kinda worked tbh- it was a pure desperation moment after promising “her hand” and she played on that misunderstanding to get away… Captain absolutely kept her hand though
- Doesn’t matter tho because she got a whole new hand!! And it’s better! Kinda- it has articulating fingers and is sorta light and functional, but it’s also a pain to strap on and uncomfortable to have for long periods of time
- Absolutely becomes a worse person after her hand’s gone. Toxic queen 😌

NCT Dream Reaction: Dating Jaehyun’s younger sister
Mark:
ok this is probably his worst nightmare
like 7 billion people on this planet
7 BILLION
and mark somehow managed to fall for his bandmates sister
he 10000% did the biggest face palm in history when he realised he had feelings for you
takes him about a year to feel even slightly relaxed in a room with both you and jaehyun in at the same time
he just feels like he broke the bro code
even though jaehyun has said to him multiple times it’s okay
he can’t relax around him for a while
eventually tho he gets over himself with a LOT of convincing from you and jae
and things become much less tense
and it probably ends up with a really nice dynamic
it’s essentially the Ross, Chandler and Monica dynamic from Friends
when mark hadn’t seen you in a while cause of work, jae would be the one to invite you over
jae would be the one to help convince management to let you visit them on tour
and he would often offer to go out on your dates so that people didn’t question it if you were spotted
he essentially does everything he can to help your relationship cause he loves the both of you
Renjun:
would really love it if you didn’t tell him
like ever
but unfortunately you have at some point
so you drag a whiny renjun to the 127 dorms to tell him
jaehyun probably only annoyed that it took you so long to tell him
he wants to know what’s going on in your life so that he can support you
however happy jae seems to be for the two you
renjun still thinks that jaehyun is orchestrating his death for the next four months
‘why do you think he wants you dead???’
‘because i’ve corrupted his baby sister!!!! everyone knows he’s protective of you!!!! why wouldn’t he want me dead???’
‘because he can see i’m happy???’
this is basically how your conversation goes everytime
until hyuck causally drops into convo that jae was talking to the guys about how much he loves that you’re dating renjun
and renjun feels like he just got a blessing from god
feels the need to see you immediately
‘HE DOESN’T HATE ME!!!’
‘thank god you realised! if only someone had been telling you that for the past few months!’
yeah he just shuts up you sarcasm with a massive kiss
not that you’re complaining
Jeno:
goes straight to doyoung for advice on how to tell jaehyun
doesn’t appreciate doyoung laughing at him because jaehyun’s going to kill him for dating his baby sister
when doyoung realises it isn’t a joke he probably freaks out
‘YOU’RE AN IDIOT OH YOU ARE SO DEAD!!! YOU’RE DATING JAEHYUN’S SISTER?’
‘huh?’ *jaehyun walking into doyoung’s room*
both jeno and doyoung just sit there staring at him
‘jeno, are you dating my baby sister?’
jaehyun’s eyes start narrowing as jeno’s are widening in fear
‘possibly’ *voice crack*
‘oh thank god it’s you, i thought it was doyoung for a second and i would have hated that!’
jaehyun’s laughing and ruffles jeno’s hair while jeno tries to catch his breath as his soul returns to his body
the boy’s just realised he’s not going to be murdered
‘you- you really don’t mind?’
‘no i always thought the two of you would end up together, i’m just glad you figured it out quickly’
after this jaehyun can’t help but see how much jeno’s smiles around you
and how you always seem to be in a good mood around him
and he decides that he doesn’t want see the either of you any other way
Donghyuck:
as teasing as donghyuck is
i think it would take him a while to become teasing about this with jaehyun
he just cares about you so much and doesn’t want to lose you
so he refuses to do anything that may give jaehyun a reason to take you away from him
literally goes to the length of acting as jaehyun’s personal slave for a week until jae feels too bad to let it continue
‘haechan, i’m not going to make her leave you. you don’t have to do this’
hyuck relaxes a bit after that
but i think he would be one to avoid talking about your relationship as much as possible
jaehyun probably has to find everything out from johnny
he probably pretends to switch rooms with johnny for a night just to mess with hyuck
after that it becomes a slight war
that poor you becomes stuck in the middle of
you act as a mediator for their arguments too
every so often hyuck forgets you’re jaehyun’s sister and makes a joke or something
‘sorry boys, gotta spend some time with the old ball and chain’ *wink*
‘WHAT?!?!’
‘no wait i was joking please don’t take her away from me i love her so much’ *on his knees*
jae would definitely abuse enjoy this new found power over hyuck
Jaemin:
im pretty sure jaehyun is jaemin’s favourite hyung
they have a v cute dynamic and have mentioned that they were close in trainee days
so i think jaemin would be absolutely terrified for jaehyun to find out
like properly terrified
like, when he does find out jaemin just accepts that the relationship is over, terrified
so you have to calm him down and talk to your brother and bf separately
jaemin would probably also do some nice things for jaehyun leading up to when you’re planning to tell him
such as buying him food and stuff
poor jaemin’s really bricking it
but after jaemin realises that jaehyun isn’t going to kill him and you aren’t going to leave him
he relaxes into the ultimate bf material that we all know he is
isn’t shy about showing his affection for you around jae
but always makes sure to keep it respectful
jaemin easily proves to jaehyun how much he loves you
and it takes jaehyun very little time to become so damn supportive of your relationship
it’s probably jaehyun who argues with management about letting the two of you go out in secret
so now you’ve got both your brother and boyfriend who are willing to do literally anything for you
Chenle:
jaehyun has said multiple times that chenle is his favourite younger brother
so i feel like out of all the dreamies jaehyun is probably most relaxed about chenle dating you
the one thing that does send jaehyun through the roof however
is that chenle doesn’t live in the dorms
he is at his own apartment
alone
with you
and little supervision
his older brother senses are tingling
expect phone calls from him so that he can check you two are being appropriate
and god forbid you miss a call from him
‘WHY DIDN’T YOU PICK UP???’
‘YOU HAD JUST HUNG UP FIVE MINUTES AGO!!! YOU DON’T CALL ME THIS MUCH WHEN YOU’RE IN A DIFFERENT CONTINENT ON TOUR!!!’
you end up shutting your phone off and telling him off when you get back
other than that it’s probably surprisingly chill
like even the others members are impressed with how little of a deal it is
chenle and jae don’t deliberately avoid or talk about it when they’re together, they just continue as normal
overall a nice, low pressure, casual environment
and you best believe jae is your number one shipper
Jisung:
is probably too nervous to tell jaehyun himself
makes you do it by yourself even though you wanted to tell him together
but sung hits you with the pout and big eyes while he begs you
and of course you caves because who wouldn’t
but the first time he saw jae after he found out about the two of you, jisung was contemplating moving countries
HE DIDN’T KNOW WHAT TO SAY
HE DIDN’T KNOW WHAT TO DO
HE DIDN’T KNOW HOW TO ACT
he just panicked went the most formal he had ever been in his life
bowed so low so quickly he thinks he cracked his back
spoke with every formality in the book
jaehyun was watching him in so much confusion
‘sung, you know i’m okay with you dating my sister right?’
‘HUH????’
‘yeah didn’t she tell you? i’ve been rooting for you guys for like two years now’
sung looks to the side
just to see you watching him laughing to yourself
‘why would you do that to meeee?’
‘make me tell him by myself and i’m gonna get payback somehow’
huffs and pouts into the night so you make sure to give him extra lil kisses to make up for it

Diagnosis: Love (Bonus ending) | Poly route
word count: 4.7k (HOW TF DID I WRITE SO MUCH I DON’T EVEN NEED BACKSTORY)
warning: filth, explicit language, explicit sex scene, unprotected sex, cum play(?), spanking, double sausage play (wink wonk)
summary: Y/N is the new nurse at NCT Hospital - the best hospital in the  country. She was expecting it to be a big step in her career, but 'Bad  Boy' Doctor Johnny Suh and 'Valentine' Pediatrician Jeong Jaehyun take  her by surprise.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The bicycle ride from your house to Jaehyun’s was a blur to you - the city lights blended together in streaks of color, faceless people passed you by and the vehicles all became big blocks of metal. Your mind was so focused on Jaehyun and this favour he asked of you that not even the chilly air of the night was being registered by your brain.
It had been well over a month since you’d had contact on a deeper level with either Jaehyun or Johnny. You’d seen them at the Hospital - despite your best efforts to avoid the areas you knew they would be at - but simply just smiled at each other; sometimes you would even say a ‘hello’ or wish them a good day, but that was it. It’s not that you minded having contact with them - it’s the exact opposite. You were scared you were going to cave.
You thought about the two handsome doctors day and night. You reminisced about all the times you had spent together, all the sweet words you had whispered to each other, all the times you got lost in one another’s eyes and all the times they made you scream in pleasure - you missed them. You wished you could just pick one of them and get this torture over with but you couldn’t.
Just the thought of going to Jaehyun’s home alone at night was making you a little nervous. Yes, he would leave right away, and yes, you wouldn’t be spending time with him but at the same time, you were. It was one thing to see him in a hallway filled with people during work hours, it was a whole other thing to see him alone at night in his home. No matter how short your meeting would be, it could quickly evolve into something more. One soulful stare, one lingering touch, a whiff of his cologne, and you were sure you’d lose your whole willpower.
And what about just being in his house alone? Marinating for Lord knows how many hours in his whole existence? Thinking about all the moments you had spent with him there, imagining him going by his day, feeling his presence. How were you supposed to be there and remain strong?
You parked your bike on the rack right in front of his building and locked it, saving up the key in the little backpack you were carrying. When you turned, you couldn’t help but look up to his place, the light coming up from his living room making the little butterflies in your stomach flip up and down.
You walked to the entrance and searched for the button that rang to his house, immediately pressing it. The door buzzed open and you walked in.
If the ride here went by in a blur, the one on the elevator felt like pure torture. With each floor you would get more nervous; it was like the mini you who was controlling your brain was looking straight out of your eyes to the changing numbers on the little screen and cranking up the ‘nervous’ button bit by bit.
You couldn’t stand still. You kept on changing the leg you were leaning on and twirling the ends of your hair until the soft ding from the elevator caught your attention. You briefly checked yourself on the big mirror behind you, fixing any stray hairs, and left.
All the way up there, you had assumed you’d have a couple more seconds to mentally prepare yourself before you eventually knocked on the door and met with Jaehyun, but he took you by surprise when you noticed him smiling at you, door already open.
“Hey,” he said with his deep honey voice, fully gaining your attention. Your eyes met with his longing ones and you felt your guard begin to crumble, but it wasn’t until he flashed you both of his dimples in a sweet smile that you felt your inner sirens go off.
“What’s up Jaehyun?” You decided to act casual about it, after all, it was the best way to kill the evident sexual and romantic tension between the two of you. Your whole approach, though, backfired when Jaehyun presented you with his damn seductive chuckle. You panicked, and in your state of inner panic, you acted rashly and practically ran inside his house, walking right past him.
“Where’s little Jisung?” You asked while you removed your sneakers, your heart now calming down a bit as you changed the subject.
“In his room, probably.”
“Probably?” What the hell did he mean by that? Didn’t he know where the boy he considered as his own son was? That wasn’t like him.
“Yeah, most definitely.”
Jaehyun was acting weird but you decided not to pry, you just wanted him to go tend to his affairs and give you room to breathe.
“Alright,” you neatly placed your shoes right next to the door and got up, looking right at him, “you can go now. I’ll take good care of him, don’t worry.”
You expected him to give you his thanks, pick up his stuff and leave but Jaehyun stayed put, his eyes fixated on you. Your heart picked up his pace once again. This was exactly what you were fearing the most, he was taking advantage of the moments when you’d have to interact and he was starting to make you anxious. “Jaehyun?”
“I missed you,” he softly confessed, his hand seeking yours.
“Jae…”
He took one step further, the smell of the cologne you had gifted him for his birthday hitting you right in the face.
“Didn’t you miss me?”
He took one more step and now you were practically touching, the heat emanating from his body caressing yours.
“Mmh?”
His hand was now on your cheek and you couldn’t help but lean into his touch. God, you missed him so much. Would it be so bad if you just gave in one time? Just this once-
“Yes.”
He smiled.
“I think about you day and night,” he confessed, making your heart dance. “I think about your smell, your hair, your eyes, your smile...your lips,” his lips were now a hairsbreadth from yours, temptation giving its best to pull you in, “your sweet lips...God, I miss kissing you.” His other hand was now running up and down your side, sending shivers straight up your spine.
“Jaehyun…” you whispered into the microscopical space that separated you from him.
“Y/N…”
You wished more than anything that he would close that fucking space between the two of you and take your lips. Was it so bad that you wanted to cave just once? Was it so bad that you wanted a fucking break from everything? You were so done thinking and deciding that, for once, you just wished someone would take the burden off of you and decide for you.
“Can I kiss you?” He asked as he tenderly ran little circles with the tip of his nose on your cheekbone.
You didn’t answer, you simply closed the space between you too and kissed him. Your hands snaked around his neck, pulling him closer. You missed him so much. You wanted to tell him you also thought about him day and night. You wanted to tell him you thought about every little aspect that made him who he was and you thought about all the time you had spent together but you couldn’t. You couldn’t because you also thought about someone else, and that wouldn’t be fair to him, just like this kiss wasn’t.
“Jaehyun, I can’t do this. This isn’t fair to Johnny,” you reminded him, your inner voice cursing at yourself for breaking up the kiss.
“I was starting to think you had forgotten all about me,” Johnny’s voice sounded from the hall, making you question if you had imagined everything, but you hadn’t.
“Johnny?!”
“Dude, we agreed you would only come out after I gave you the signal,” Jaehyun told him, leaving you all kinds of confused.
“Yeah, and was I supposed to stay hidden while you fucked her?”
“I was not going to have sex with her, it was just a kiss,” Jaehyun defended himself, but not even you believed him. The way he was kissing you was anything but innocent.
“Excuse me, but can somebody tell me what the fuck is going on here?” You asked, getting back the attention of both men. “Didn’t you have an emergency at the hospital?” You asked Jaehyun before you turned to Johnny who was now standing right next to his friend. “And you? What the fuck are you doing here?”
“Ouch,” he commented, pouting at your question. “Don’t tell me you don’t want me here baby.”
“It’s not that, it’s just-”
Seeing your confusion Jaehyun stepped in, ready to clear everything up. “Y/N, there was actually no emergency. I’m sorry I lied.”
“No emergency?! So Jisung…?” You trailed off, trying to make sense of everything.
“He’s not here. Only us.”
“Why would you lie to me like that?” You raised your tone, the sting of the lie making you feel used. “Did you bring me here just to try to have sex with me?!”
“No, no, no, I swear it’s nothing like that,” he quickly defended himself, a worried look on his face. You knew Jaehyun wasn’t that type of guy, but things weren’t looking that great for him.
“We’re here to help you,” Johnny spoke, leaving you even more confused.
“Help me how?”
“Have you decided who you’re going to pick?” Johnny casually asked, leaving you a bit stunned at the bluntness of his question.
“No…”
“Then Jae and I have a proposition we’d like to make you.” For some reason, his smugness was making you uneasy.
“What proposition?”
Jaehyun noticed your defensive state and immediately intervened, his calm nature easing you down. “Well, me and Johnny have been talking a lot. Mostly we started by confiding in each other about our feelings for you, seeing as only he could understand what I was feeling and vice versa.”
You were glad he was telling you this. If there was one thing you were worried about with this whole ordeal was that you would damage their friendship, but seeing as they were so open and understanding about it took a big weight off of your shoulders.
“Then, one day, we went out for drinks and the conversation reverted back to you, as it always does.”
“Only this time, it got way more, should we say, personal,” Johnny said in a slightly suggestive tone. You knew right away what he was talking about and you couldn’t help but feel your cheeks heat up.
Sensing your defensive attitude from before was all gone Johnny took one step closer to you, his fingers running up the expanse of your arm, leaving a trail of goosebumps behind.
“We talked about our most hidden desires,” he briefly paused before he moved to your back and whispered next to your ear, “about you.”
You swallowed.
Heat radiated from your core, your thighs pressing up together. Did you want to know what dirty things they talked about doing to you? Of course you fucking did, but luckily Johnny told before you could ask.
“We came to the conclusion that we wouldn’t mind...sharing you.”
Everything stopped.
Did you just hear that right? Did they want to...share you? No, you must be dreaming. It can’t be true. “You want to...share me?”
Jaehyun came closer to you, locking you between him and Johnny. “Yes.”
“Didn’t you ever fantasize about having us both at the same time?” Johnny asked, his body now completely glued to yours. He placed both of his hands on your hips and pressed a light kiss on your neck, fueling your imagination.
In fact, you had fantasized about it innumerous times. How could you not when you were in love with two equally hot guys? It was inevitable. Sometimes you’d be fantasizing about one and the other would just pop in, and others you’d go straight for the both of them.
“Yes,” you confessed as you backed into his body, his semi pressing right into your ass.
Johnny chuckled. “I knew it.”
“H-how would it work then?” You asked, lust overpowering you.
“However you want baby,” Jaehyun said, his body now also touching yours. “Whichever way you feel more comfortable, Johnny and I will be here for you.”
“Are you two gonna get with each other?” You asked. It was not that you minded, you really were just curious. Your question though seemed to amuse Johnny.
“Do you want us to?”
“Only if you want to.”
“We’ll just go with the flow, how about that baby?” Johnny asked, his breath fanning your neck as he ground he’s now hard cock into your ass.
“Mmm, sounds good to me.”
“Then what do you say honey,” Jaehyun’s lips were now a hair’s breadth from yours, perfectly mimicking his actions from before, “will you be ours?”
You didn’t give it much thought - you didn’t have to. This was the perfect solution for your dilemma and the fact alone that you didn’t have to break anyone’s heart was good enough for you and exactly what made you lean in and kiss Jaehyun.
The kiss was a desperate one, a mixture of lip-sucking and tongue-swirling, the occasional biting of your bottom lip, leaving you breathless.
Meanwhile, Johnny and Jaehyun seemed to be working as a team - one was removing your jacket while the other was lifting up your shirt, exposing more of your skin to their touch. Jaehyun then broke the kiss to pull your shirt over your head while Johnny took that opportunity to unhook your bra, sliding the straps right off as soon as your arms were free.
“Look at these fucking boobs,” Johnny said from beside your ear as he palmed the both of them, like a rack putting them on display for the both of them. “They’re so beautiful,” he said while squeezing them together and jiggling them up and down.
Your cheeks were tinted red as you noticed the way Jaehyun’s eyes followed the movement of your bouncing tits, his teeth catching his bottom lip as prey.
“Look at those perky nipples,” the Doctor in front of you leaned down until he was eye-level with your chest, his fingers causing you to hiss by flicking your sensitive buds. “They make me wanna suck on them…” His face got even closer to your breasts, his warm breath hardening your nipples even more, “would you like that baby?”
“Yes,” you breathed out, your voice sounding more desperate than you intended.
Jaehyun smiled before he attached his mouth to one of your nipples, Johnny squeezing your boobs nice and firmly to present them as an offering to his friend. The paediatrician’s tongue softly swirled around your nipple to coat it in his saliva before he placed it in his mouth and sucked. The sensation was so good that you couldn’t help but bury the back of your head into Johnny’s chest, a moan escaping your lips.
The hands of the man behind you suddenly released your breasts - Jaehyun then taking advantage and groping them by himself - and travelled further down until they reached the hem of your jeans. One of his hands then went straight to your button and unbuttoned it, giving room for the other hand to slip under the jean fabric and palm your core, the middle finger directly above your clit pressing with a bit more force.
“Fuck, you’re completely soaked,” Johnny cursed. You knew he was very affected by your wetness because he pressed his erection with particular force into your ass, his breath faltering.
Johnny pulled down your jeans a bit, exposing your ass to his covered crotch, and collected the front of your panties between his thumb and index finger, creating a wedgie that applied a delicious amount of pressure to your pussy.
“Mmmh, Johnny,” you moaned as he sucked on your neck, working hard to leave a mark.
“I missed the way you moan my name,” he confessed while he placed his feet between yours, motioning you to open your legs. “I thought about it every fucking night while I was fisting up my cock.”
At this moment Jaehyun turned his attention to your neglected nipple, making you moan once again, “Jaehyun.” This action didn’t stop Johnny though, who continued to profess dirty thing in your ear.
“I thought about your tight little pussy wrapped around my cock.” He pulled your panties to the side and ran his middle finger up and down your folds before he whispered: “I bet you’re still as tight, aren’t you baby?”
“Yes, just for you.”
Johnny smiled. His finger travelled up and down one more time before it sunk right into your hole. “As tight as I remembered.”
“She’s a good little girl isn’t she?” Jaehyun’s head emerged from your breasts, your eyes immediately focusing on his spit covered lips, wishing the glistening substance was the one between your legs. One of his hands let go of your breast and travelled further down to your clit, joining Johnny in the pursuit for your orgasm.
“Fuck that feels so good,” you whined.
“Look at you sucking my fingers right in,” Johnny said after he added another one of his long digits inside of you.
Soon enough both of them picked up their paces - Jaehyun rubbing at your nub and Johnny finger fucking you. You were so starved of their touches that it didn’t take you long to reach your orgasm. In no time you were squirming and contorting, fresh new batches of your slick spilling right to their fingers.
“That’s it, baby, let it go for us,” Johnny cooed into your hair as you finished screaming incoherent sentences.
“I missed watching you cum,” Jaehyun confessed into your lips, lightly pecking you as you recovered your breath.
“And I miss watching you cum,” you sheepishly said as you pulled him closer by the hem of his pants. You then turned around and used your hand to do the same to Johnny, placing them side by side. You worked on unbuttoning Jaehyun’s pants as you tip-toed to deliver a sloppy kiss to Johnny’s lips. Once Jae’s cock was free you slowly dropped to your knees, your eyes never leaving Johnny’s, and pulled his sweats and underwear down, his cock hitting you right in the face.
“Look at these two big beautiful cocks, all for me.” You licked the tip of Johnny’s cock as you pumped Jaehyun’s, a string of grunts leaving their lips. You placed the taller man’s cock in your mouth and sucked, your eyes locked on the way he was observing you, his teeth biting his bottom lip so tight that you thought it might draw blood.
“That’s it, use that pretty little tongue of yours,” he said as you swirled your pink muscle around him, head bobbing up and down.
After a while, you switched cocks, giving more of your attention to the paediatrician. You gave him the exact same treatment you gave to Johnny: tongue swirling and head-bopping until he was using his hands to bury your head further down.
Then, completely driven by lust, you took both cocks and pulled them in together, both leaky tips touching each other. You looked them both in the eye and placed both of their members in your mouth, stuffing it full.
“Fuck, you’re so fucking dirty baby,” Johnny said as he observed the way your tongue swirled around both him and his friend’s cock, clearly enjoying it.
“That feels so good,” Jaehyun moaned, leaning his head back as you played with their ball sack.
“Alright, enough of that,” Johnny pulled your head back by your hair, a string of saliva connecting both their cocks to your mouth. “I need to fuck your little cunt before I fucking explode.”
“I’ll go get the condoms.” Jaehyun turned to leave before you grabbed his leg, looking up at him with puppy-like eyes, “no. Do me raw.”
You didn’t need to say anything further, in a matter of seconds Johnny was picking you up off of the ground and carrying you bridal style to Jaehyun’s bedroom. Upon your arrival, he threw you on the bed and placed himself on top of you. He then removed your ruined underwear, along with the jeans and opened up your legs. When he had you just like he wanted, he grabbed his member and ran it up and down your folds a couple of times, collecting your slick before entering you.
You gasped. You had had the help of your loyal vibrator for the past month on the most lonely nights but it just wasn’t the same - you needed the real thing.
Before you noticed, Jaehyun was kneeling right beside your head and placing his dick near your mouth, the feeling of his cock on your skin taking you by surprise. You turned your head and placed him in your mouth, his cock still wet from your previous blow job.
“That’s it, my beautiful girl,” he praised, giving you a loving smile as he moved a lock of your hair out of the way.
“Suck my co-” Jaehyun’s words were cut short when Johnny started moving inside of you, eliciting a deep moan from out of you.
“Fuck you feel so good,” the man between your legs said as he supported himself by the palm of his hands, his torso right above yours.
You couldn’t say anything, you could just moan, but you didn’t mind. You loved being like this, stuffed full in both of your holes. You wanted them to use you and make a mess out of you, filling you with both their cum. You craved for it.
Just like he was listening in on your inner thoughts Johnny picked up his pace, his hips slapping against yours in such a brutal pace you were sure you’d be sore tomorrow. “Baby I’m getting closer,” he confessed, the loose strands of his brown hair dangling back and forth as he banged into you.
You didn’t answer him, your mouth too busy pleasuring Jaehyun. Instead, you snaked your hand between your bodies and started playing with your clit, giving you the boost you needed to catch up with him.
“Fuck, you’re so fucking hot Y/N,” Johnny mumbled as he watched you play with yourself as his dick railed into you.
“Shit,” Jaehyun mumbled, “by the way she’s moaning into my dick I think she’s almost there.”
“You should feel how tightly she’s squeezing me right now, I can barely hold on- fuck,” Johnny cursed as you came around him, your walls contracting tightly around him. Jaehyun removed his cock from your mouth, giving your vocal cords the liberty to scream Hail Mary.
“Fuck Johnny,” you yelled as you clawed at his buffed up arms.
“Shit, I’m gonna-”
Johnny’s dick twitched inside of you and released his milky cum, filling you up like you so desperately wanted. He then fell right on top of you, his heavy body squishing you tight.
“Get off of her Suh, you’re gonna kill her with your weight,” Jaehyun said as he pushed Johnny off of you, his limp dick falling right off from you. His cum quickly started to leak from inside of you, making you close your legs tightly in an attempt to keep it in.
“Shut up Jeong,” Johnny protested from beside you, making you smile. “Are you okay Y/N?”
“I’m perfect,” you smiled at him before you turned to Jaehyun to deliver him that same smile, “I’m ready for round two.”
“Are you sure beautiful?” He said from above you, his dimples giving you all the energy you needed.
“Yes,” you pulled him by his arm so his face would get closer to yours. “I want you,” you assured him before you gave him a soft kiss.
“I want you too,” he smiled, “so much.”
“Then come and get me,” you winked at him before he placed a small kiss on your forehead and moved to the end of the bed.
“Come here baby,” Johnny whispered from beside you, patting his chest and signalling you to get on top of him. You did as he wished, getting between his long legs and sticking out your ass to Jaehyun, your head laying right on Johnny’s pecks.
“What a fucking sight,” Jaehyun said as he caressed your ass. Then he noticed a trail of cum running down your thigh, collected it with his finger and stuck it right inside you, “you’re gonna save every little drop of our cum inside your pretty pussy aren’t you?”
“Yes.”
Because your ear was pressed into Johnny’s chest you could hear his heartbeat and by the way it just accelerated, you knew the idea of having both his and his friend’s cum inside of you excited him. You smiled.
Jaehyun didn’t waste any time - the poor man having been teased this whole time - he collected the mix of your arousal with Johnny’s cum with his cock and entered you, his name spilling right from your mouth, “oh Jaehyun.”
“Fuck, you’re so tight.”
“Jaehyun, fuck me,” you basically purred, making Johnny laugh.
“So fucking needy, aren’t you?” He grabbed you by your chin and pulled your face closer to his so he could give you a sloppy kiss.
“Yes. Oh, Fuc-”
Taking your request into consideration Jaehyun sprung into action. He didn’t waste any time, he gripped your hips and gradually picked up his pace, much to your taste. Meanwhile, Johnny slid himself a bit down (so his mouth would be at the same level as your chest) and started sucking at your sensitive nipples, adding that extra level of pleasure.
“Fuck, Jaehyun, just like that,” you said as his rhythm turned into an animalistic one.
You knew it wouldn’t be long before for you to be spiralling down in your orgasm, the way both of them were taking care of your body being almost too good to handle.
“I missed your fucking pussy so much. God, it feels so good,” he confessed before he spanked your ass, the sound of skin slapping on skin echoing in his room.
“Jaehyun…” you moaned into the air before Johnny reached for your clit, provoking your third orgasm of the night not long after, “shit, shit, shit.”
“Fuck, I’m gonna cum,” Jaehyun warned before he spilt inside you, your orgasm clearly triggering his.
“Fuck,” you cursed as Jaehyun removed himself from inside of you, only the mix of their cums left inside your clenching pussy.
“You did so well baby,” Johnny confessed to your chest, leaving small kisses here and there as you tried to regain your breath. He pulled you in closer and rolled you around so you were on your back. He then left a trail of small kisses from your chest right until your pubic bone, taking his time to observe the mess between your legs.
“Come here Jae,” he instructed his best friend who was panting on the bed.
“Look at that pretty pussy filled with our cum,” Jaehyun said between breaths as he ran a finger between your folds.
“Can you show us all that’s inside baby?” Johnny asked, his finger tracing calming patterns on your thigh.
“Yeah.” You opened up your legs wider and let go of all their cum, the milky substance running down your folds and falling straight on Jaehyun’s bedspread.
“Fuck,” Jaehyun said.
“You’re such a good girl for us,” Johnny added, making you smile.
“I’m so glad we can just be together, I was so terrified that I had to break the heart of one of you…” You confessed, both of them immediately joining you in bed to shower you with hugs and kisses.
“Hey, hey, everything’s alright now. You’ve got us - the both of us - no matter what, okay?” Johnny said, softly kissing you on the lips.
“Yes beautiful, nothing else matters right now.”
“Good,” you said before you tried to gain the courage to tell them something more, something you’ve been wanting to say now for a long time. “Johnny? Jaehyun?”
“Yes?” They both said, their loving eyes fixated on you.
“I love you, the both of you,” you confessed while interchanging looks with them both, your heart beating like crazy.
“We love you too,” they said.

uhhh hi! if your valentines day reqs are still open could you do a jae kim x fem!reader and a former!penny haywood x fem!reader? like in the same fic, if not thats totally fine! thank you!
hello! thank you for requesting! i will try my best, but a lot of the circumstances here have been left unspecified so if this isn’t to your liking, you’re absolutely welcome to send in another one, as always! ((this got much longer than i planned))
happy valentine’s day! 💗✨
Tumblr media
Okay, so in his defense, Jae hasn’t exactly had lots of experience with Valentine’s Day. Or, more accurately, having a valentine for Valentine’s Day.
He didn’t hate the holiday. On the contrary, the lovers’ holiday always brings in lots of customers for his little side business. When you can’t trust the staff to get you what you need, you must be forced to look elsewhere. Jae is elsewhere.
It’s rather easy actually. Enchant a howler to sing ballads instead of scream insults here, candles made out of amortentia, a few orders of multiplying chocolate roses there. Business is booming this time of year and he owes it all to the Day of Love. So, really, how could he possibly hate the holiday?
Let him tell you why.
He has no idea what to get you.
You’d think for someone with a stock like Jae’s, finding an appropriate gift would be easy. A piece of cake, right? Wrong. Every gift that he can possibly think of to give to you, he’s already sold to someone else at one point before. Flowers that change to the favorite color of the holder? Done before. Jewelry enchanted to fit only the wearer? Done. Doves entrusted with disappearing love poems? Done. Done. Done.
And Jae doesn’t want to give you just any gift. He wants it to be special. Many a buyer has claimed him a secret romantic, and while he has vehemently disagreed in the past, if ever a time came to prove them right it would most certainly be now.
But, unfortunately for him, it seems he’s pulled out all the stops for strangers. Not his best moment.
After about the entirety of his January was wasted in struggle, Jae eventually caved and turned to Ben for help. Being his roommate, the blonde’s innate knack for charms did not escape his notice and he figured if anyone were to help him out of his funk, it’d be him. Not to mention, being his best friend has its perks too.
It took only an hour for Jae to come up with his best idea yet. However, that said, it was a little ambitious for the two students and they enlisted the help of charming Professor Flitwick—who, much to Jae’s immense relief, seemed absolutely delighted to help, saying something about “finally putting his creativity to use”—to ensure his vision became a reality.
Finally, at seven pm on Love Day, after a whole morning and afternoon’s worth of quality time spent between giggles and stolen kisses, he is finally able to present you with his gift. Fortune favors the bold and all that, right? Or was it brave....?
Eh, he’s a Gryffindor. He’ll try his luck.
The two of you are slipping through the dark corridors, the only source of light granted by the quaint, alluring candles that dot the extensive hall. The glow casts an illusion of warmth across your face, catching on the color of your eyes so purposefully, so brilliantly that for a moment Jae forgets to breathe.
“Thank you for today,” You tell him, your fingers intertwined as you bring them up to kiss his knuckles affectionately. Jae blushes and doesn’t even attempt to hide it. “For a while there, I couldn’t have seen myself doing this with anyone but Penny. And I hate to bring it up, but...just know that today was all I could have asked for.”
You push up on your toes, smirking just slightly as you brush your lips against his in a whisper of a kiss. “And so much more.”
Usually, Jae detests when your very intimidating and long-lasting history with mutual friend—and your now ex—Penny Haywood is brought up. Jae knows what the two of you had was important to you, and he trusts you entirely, but sometimes when he watches as you both settle back into an easy friendship, his heart flips painfully in his chest. It is not a rare occurrence for him to wonder, If someone as pretty and popular and considerate as Penny couldn’t keep you, what chance does he stand?
Today though, he finds he can’t seem to muster up the energy to feel insecure when you’re looking at him like that and your smile threatens to cut so wide he knows your cheeks will hurt in the morning.
Jae chuckles, the sound a deeper rumble than usual as he pulls his gift out from his pocket. “Well, the day’s not over yet. I have one more surprise for you.”
Your eyebrow arches and your eyes light up in interest, mirth dancing in the small flames he finds reflected there. You grin. “And what might that be?”
Deciding that it’s now or never, he smirks and drops what looks to be nothing more than a common remembrall in your hand. Your reaction is expected.
“A remembrall?”
He shakes his head. “Not just any remembrall. A romantic remembrall.”
You snicker, but don’t disbelieve him. “Just because you add a word in front of it, doesn’t make it any different.”
“This one is different though. I had Ben and Flitty help me with it, so you might want to shoot them a thanks too when you see ‘em, but it took me two weeks to make.”
You tilt your head, a soft but curious smile on your face. “And what does it do?”
Jae points to where it’s currently filled with its usual crimson red smoke with a sly grin. “Well love, you see, unlike a regular old remembrall, this one will only light up if the person who gave it you is presently thinking of you.”
You stop, your eyes flicking down to peer at the smoke already swirling around inside. When you look back up at him, your eyes are filled with such strong emotion, Jae thinks he might melt on the spot.
“Jae...”
“If you carry it around with you, or even just leave it on your desk in your dorm, this way you will always know just how often you’re on my mind.”
For a brief second, you don’t say anything—too tongue-tied to find the right words. So instead, you wrap an arm around his neck and plant a happy kiss against his lips.
Jae smiles into it.
Just wait until next year.

STRIPED CARNATION
↳ In which two best friends love each other, but their timing is off.
Tumblr media
pairing: Jaehyun x fem!reader
warning: lots of angst, mentions of anxiety
word count: 2.4k
a/n: hello! I hope you enjoy my first nct fanfic this was a revamp of an old fanfic I wrote years ago! Please let me know if you’d like a part 2 or epilogue sort of thing <3 also requests are open!
You and Jaehyun have been friends since you were little. He was your special person and you were his. Your friends always used to joke that the two of you would end up getting married considering how joint at the hip you were, and for a while you truly believed it until one day she came into his life.
She was radiant.
The kind of girl you always aspired to be like, long beautiful hair, a smile that could outshine the sun and the worst trait of all... a genuinely nice person. You think it was this quality that made you hate her the most, she was perfect for Jaehyun and you couldn’t deny it one bit. That's why you shut your mouth and held back your tears when Jaehyun came to you one day and handed you an envelope.
You are invited to the wedding of Jung Jaehyun and…
Your first instinct was to pinch yourself which earned you a strange look from Jaehyun. Your second instinct was the laugh, how ironic. Your third instinct was to cry, to beg him not to get married.
But as you looked back up at Jaehyun who was eagerly waiting for your approval, you decided it was best to smile as genuinely as you could and congratulate him on getting someone as perfect as her to be his wife. Little did Jaehyun know, that you went home and cried yourself to sleep that night.
The day had arrived, from today onwards Jaehyun would officially be yours no longer. You could no longer call him anymore in the middle of the night when you felt anxious and needed someone with you to lull you to sleep. You could no longer ask him to be your date to work functions where all your coworkers would showcase their happy relationships. You could no longer be even the tiniest bit selfish and just want to be around him. He no longer needed you, so you had to learn to no longer need him.
“Hey…” you spoke, opening the door to Jaehyun’s old room, a room filled with so many memories of your childhood. A gasp left your mouth as you saw him in his suit, of course you always thought he was attractive but there was just something about him today that left you speechless. Hearing your voice, he spun around, that all too familiar smile appeared on his face showcasing his dimples as he embraced you in a hug. Oh how you adored his dimples. “Y/N, you’re here.” he spoke almost breathlessly, which confused you slightly.
“Of course I'm here, I couldn’t miss my best friend’s wedding.” That was the first lie of the day. You had been pondering all night as to whether or not you went, but you know that by not going Jaehyun would have a lot of questions.
“Still can’t tie a bowtie?” you laughed softly, moving over to help the man out. After a moment of silence you decided to distract yourself from the close proximity that you stood to him. “Are you nervous?” Jaehyun let out a shaky laugh at this as you finished his bow and took a step back.”It’s totally normal to be nervous you know, Jae. You’re getting married!” moving to sit on his bed, you let him keep getting ready as you watched him begin to pace.
“Am I making the right decision, Y/N?” eyes wide, tears begin to brim your eyes as you prepared yourself for the second lie of the day. “Yes, Jaehyun. You’re making the right decision.” Suddenly the bed dipped next to you and Jaehyun’s head was on your shoulder, face burrowed into your neck. Slowly you began to stroke his hair, trying to calm him down as you felt him starting to panic. His head quickly shot off your shoulder as he turned his body to face you. “I don’t think I can marry her. I-I love you, Y/N!”
“W-what?!” you yelped, quickly standing up and beginning to pace around Jaehyun’s bedroom. You moved back over to Jaehyun and whacked the back of his head. “WHAT THE HECK Y/N?” he rubbed the back of his head which had begun to throb. You turned around fuming and pointed angrily at him “WHAT THE HECK? JAEHYUN, YOU’RE ABOUT TO GET MARRIED!” breaths starting to become short you rushed into Jaehyun’s ensuite bathroom and lock the door. Luckily you had made it into the bathroom before Jaehyun could see the tears fall from your eyes. “Y/N, let me in…” Jaehyun spoke from the other side of the door as you moved towards the sink and splashed your face with some water.
“Y/N…” Jaehyun spoke softly, you could hear him moving to sit with his back against the other side of the door. “Do you really love me Jaehyun?” you spoke wearily, trying not to get your hopes up. You knew it was just his nerves talking but a small part of you was hopeful that he really did return the intense feelings you had for him. A soft chuckle could be heard before Jaehyun replied “Why are you questioning it? We’ve been friends since we were kids, of course I love you.” You let out a bitter laugh at this “I’ve seen love in different forms, Jaehyun. What you feel towards me is familiar love, I’m the safe option…” more tears left your eyes as you began to grasp what was happening.
You sat in the bathroom in silence for a few minutes, silent tears falling as you tried to muffle your sobs. “Do you love me?” Jaehyun spoke breaking the silence, his voice evidently sad. Here came the third lie you would tell today “I loved you. Loved, past tense.” you only hoped that he wouldn’t pick up on you lying through your teeth, but you knew better than that.
“…Maybe if you looked me in the eyes when you said that, I’d actually believe you.” he choked out. Moving towards the door, you leant your ear against it. Jaehyun at this point had moved away from the door which was your cue to quickly leave the bathroom and his room. Slowly you move your hand towards the handle and open it, but before you could escape Jaehyun had pulled you into a tight hug which you couldn’t break free of. “J-Jaehyun, let me go.” you pleaded, trying to push at his chest to separate the two of you. “Do you love me, Y/N?” Jaehyun asked again, this time he loosened his grip to look at you.
Mustering as much courage as you could, you look at him with a serious expression “I loved you. Loved, past tense.” the fourth lie of the day. A single tear slipped down Jaehyun’s cheek. Sighing deeply, you pull one of the flowers you had neatly placed in your hair and pinned it to his jacket pocket. “Good luck, I’ll see you out there.” smiling weakly you move out the door. Looking over your shoulder, you watch as Jaehyun inspects the flower.
A striped carnation.
I’m sorry I can’t be with you, I wish I could. This is what a striped carnation symbolises. I can’t have him. But I can’t stop thinking about him.
Quickly walking out of the room and down the hallway, you take a moment to support yourself against the wall, “I do love you, Jaehyun. So damn much.”
“Y/n! There you are!” a voice spoke from down the hall as the figure rushed towards you. Quickly wiping your eyes, you came face to face with Johnny, your other best friend. Noticing your tears, he spoke knowingly “He told you didn’t he?” with the single nod of your head, he pulled you into a tight hug.
“I love him, Johnny.” you begin to sob into his chest as he pulls you down the hallway to somewhere more private, which ended up being his car. “So he told you, huh…” Johnny spoke, before running a hand through his hair and sighing. “You told him you loved him back right?” Johnny asked as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. Shaking your head no you begin to cry more, prompting Johnny to take his handkerchief out of his jacket pocket and hand it to you. “No. Just- just please get me out of here.” nodding his head, Johnny put his seatbelt on.
“Y/N!” The front door slammed open as Jaehyun yelled after you. “Johnny, please start the car.” Johnny looked between you and Jaehyun before sighing sadly and starting the car. You slump back into the seat, eyes flickering over to the side mirror of the car, heart shattering as you spot Jaehyun standing in the driveway, shoulders slumped and eyes staring longingly in your direction.
“I can turn the car around...” Johnny spoke softly. You open your mouth about to cave in but were cut off by the buzzing of my phone.
Jaehyun 💘 I have so much I need to say, please, please come back.
More tears ran down your face as you read the pleading message. “Why’d you do it?” Johnny spoke up, eyes never leaving the road. “Why’d I do what?” you responded, locking your phone and putting it in the cupholder. Ignoring, the continuous flash of your screen which you assumed to be new messages from Jaehyun “Everyone knows you love him back, Why’d you tell him that you didn’t?” Taking a deep breath, you close your eyes. “I never intended to hurt him... but I will not be a homewrecker. I thought that I’d be alright, that I could handle being around Jaehyun. But I underestimated how strong my feelings were…”
“I saw it. The carnation, Y/N. I know what it means...” Johnny spoke sadly, waiting to see how you would react. “It matched his suit, that’s all.” you spoke nonchalantly, pretending your heart wasn’t hurting at the thought of the flower. You thought you could give it to him today and finally be done with your feelings for him, but that’s not what ended up happening.
“Yeah, whatever you say. Are you ready to go to the church?” After driving around for a while, your tears had finally dried. Nodding your head slowly, you lay back in the seat replaying everything that just happened in your head. If only you had told him how you really felt, maybe it would’ve saved the both of you from heartache.
Tumblr media
“I can’t do this!”
Arriving at the church and after a lot of convincing, you finally get out of Johnny’s car. Johnny walked over to you and crossed his arms “What do you mean, you can’t do this?”. Grabbing you by the shoulders he looks you in the eye sternly. “You can do this. You will do this. You said it yourself, Jaehyun deserves to be happy and I know for a fact that he’ll be heartbroken if you’re not inside that church when he gets there.”
Shaking your head stubbornly, you remove his hands from your shoulders and close your eyes briefly before opening them. “Okay.” Gently, you intertwined your hand with Johnny’s and moved into the church, heart breaking with every step you take.
Not long after, Jaehyun arrived at the church, his eyes immediately scanned the room and stopped on you. He began to quickly move towards you, but was stopped by Johnny who shook his head. “Man, it’s time.” Eyes going wide, Jaehyung moved his gaze over to you before looking over at the pianist who had begun to play the Bride’s entrance song. Nodding his head defeated, he moved to the altar, eyes never leaving your face.
Hearing the music, reality set in and you began to feel sick as you watched Jaehyun’s bride walk down the aisle. Once she reached Jaehyun, you turned to look over at Johnny and shook your head, mouthing to him “I can’t do this.” Quickly, you stood up and rushed out of the church as quietly as you could. Once you were out the doors you kicked your heels off, leaving them on the hood of Johnny’s car. Not knowing where you were going, you just began to run. Focusing on getting as far away from the church as possible. Tiring quickly, you found yourself on a bench, your ragged breaths forming into hysterical sobs.
“Y/N?…” a familiar voice spoke gently. Furrowed eyebrows you shook your head, trying to clear your mind. You were just imagining things, Jaehyun was at the church right now probably just about to say ‘I do’.
“Y/N…” a man sat down next to you and wiped your tears, looking up you let out a gasp as you realised that your brain wasn’t playing tricks on you. Jaehyun was really sitting next to you. His hair a bit dishevelled from the wind and his bow that you had tied perfectly hours before loose and untied around his neck. Wiping your eyes you looked at Jaehyun and shook your head disapprovingly “What the hell are you doing here?!”
“I’m- I…” he let out a defeated sigh and ran a nervous hand through his hair. “I-I know my timing is awful and that you don’t feel the same-“
“I love you too, Jaehyun.” Your sudden words made Jaehyun’s eyes go wide. He couldn’t believe what he was hearing. You breathed out, pulling one of the other flowers you had in your hair and twirling it.
“Jaehyun, you shouldn’t be here…”
Closing his eyes, a single tear slipped down his cheek as he gingerly interlaced his fingers with yours. “I know.” he spoke, taking off his wedding band and twirling it between his fingers.
“Our timing was off.” you spoke, looking ahead at the cars that passed by, trying to focus on not breaking down again. “Yeah.” he replied letting out a bitter chuckle and squeezing your hand.
You knew the answer to the next question would break your heart, but you still asked it anyway. “Do you love her?” there was a moment of silence before Jaehyun nodded his head yes. You knew deep down that you weren’t fated to be together and there was nothing you could do about it.
“Then that’s all that matters.” you spoke calmly before taking the ring out of Jaehyun’s hand and sliding it back onto his ring finger.
“But I love you too-” Jaehyun interjected, grabbing your face in his hands. Tears brimming his eyes as he gently caressed your face. Smiling sadly you removed his hands from your face and moved over a bit. “You can’t”. The two of you sat on the park bench in silence, looking ahead at the cars that drove past.
Oh, what trouble a simple four words could cause.

MC Was Sexually Abused as a Child - RFA
Zen:
• You didn’t want him to find out because you were scared he’d think you were dirty or disgusting
• And the way he found out too; it was just so out of the ordinary
• You were backstage at one of his shows and after his performance he’d grabbed you and hurriedly shoved you into one of the storage closets
• He wasn’t trying to be sexual he just wanted a few minutes alone with you to celebrate in private since he knew you’d both be swamped by fans; the poor man was thinking really, wasn’t paying attention
• So when he finally realizes how you’re shaking, knees threatening to buckle as you held your hands over your chest while looking down
• “MC? Princess what’s the matter; is something wrong? Talk to me.”
• You were all too familiar with dimly lit storage closets; your abuser had taken you there for years when you had your music lessons
• When you finally explain to him what was wrong through your tears, he is so...angry
• Words cannot express how he wants to go back in time and strangle the person who did that to you
• He at first through you were hesitant to be intimate because you didn’t have much experience
• While that was part of it, it was so much deeper than that, much more sinister; that he just wasn’t expecting it
• “They just...it was every single lesson Zen. And I wondered; had I done something wrong? Something to make me stand out to them? I just don’t understand...” You were still shaking, voice quivering
• He stood there, fists clenched as he tried to take deep breaths to calm himself down; enough so that he could prioritize what really mattered. You.
•“It was not your fault MC. Remember that. That person was a sick fuck for doing that to you, and I am so sorry that you didn’t get the proper support you needed. It’s okay; we can get through this together.”
Yoosung
• The two of you were cooking together, the front of you facing the oven as you stirred the vegetables in the frying pan
• Then he suddenly came up behind you, hands stopping at your waist as he whispered in your ear
• “My precious MC, I love you so much.”
• You were no longer in the kitchen with Yoosung; you were in your living room, your parents outside with your aunts and uncles as your cousin played with you; alone
• “Here MC, just turn and bend over; we’re going to play house. Yeah, that’s it...”
• “Please don’t...” You whimpered, your voice barely above a whisper as you struggled to pull yourself out of the traumatic memory
• “MC? Oh no, MC! Are you okay? Honey look at me...”
• He had turned off the stove and carried you to the bedroom, placing you on the bed while he knelt down on the floor
When you’d calmed yourself down you told him what had happened between you and your cousin; and why you no longer speak to that side of your family.
• He was absolutely disgusted; how could someone do that to their own family?
• The thought of even trying to do that to Rika; it made him want to gag
• “I wish I was...I wish I could have...oh, God. I’m sorry MC, I’m sorry...”
Jaehee
• You were at a bar, enjoying a few drinks together after a long day of work
• “I have to use the restroom; I’ll be back, Jae.”
• She nodded as you went, and you were fine as you found a stall and calmly shut the door behind you
• But before you had the chance to lock it Jaehee was in the restroom and in your stall, cheeks flushed from the alcohol as she bit her lip
• “Jaehee...?”
• “I want you MC...right now.”
• “W-wait,” You stuttered, her fingers fumbling near your zipper on your jeans as she shoved you against the stall wall
• The action sent you back to high school, a student you barely knew dragging you into the stall and shoving you up against it
• She wasn’t nice; she was really rough. She told you to shut up and take it
• “If you tell anyone, I will be sure that you never see the light of day again.”
• “Get off, please get off!”
• You shoved Jaehee, HARD, the poor woman sobering up quickly as she slammed into the opposite wall
• “Huh? Wait...oh no, MC? MC wait!”
• You ran, straight out of the bathroom and out of the bar even, ending up at teh park nearby
• The chilly air felt good against your hot cheeks, your breathing shallow as you tried to calm yourself down
• “MC! Please I, I’m so sorry. I was just trying to be spontaneous.”
• “No, Jaehee it wasn’t you, I just...”
• You told her everything. You sobbed. She held you
• She even had a few tears slip as she held you close, rubbing your back as you gripped her coat tight
• “I promise you MC. Nobody will ever hurt you that way again.”
Jumin
• You were visiting him in his office since he’d promised to have lunch with you
He asked you to close the door behind him and you obliged, setting your bag down in the empty chair beside you
• “I’ve missed you, darling.”
• “I’ve missed you Jumin.”
• He’d finished signing the last document on his desk and then he stood, walking over towards you
• You followed suit, standing while giving him a smile
• Just as you went to grab your bag he had grabbed you first, easily picking you up and placing you on his desk
• “May your darling boyfriend receive a kiss?”
• His request went ignored as you froze on the desk, your mind flashing back t o your teacher in high school
• “I know how badly you need to pass, MC. I teach you how to do math; what’s so different about teaching this? Now come on...down on your knees...”
• Jumin’s hands drifted down to your thighs and before you knew it your reflexes kicked in and you slapped him
• An angry red handprint formed on his cheek, his eyes wide with shock as he slowly turned his head back towards you
• “I...I...”
• You couldn’t think of any words to say, so you did what you had done back then; you ran
• “MC! Hold on, MC!”
• Of course you didn’t listen, keeping your head down while Jumin hurriedly ran after you
• He caught you in the elevator, pressing the emergency stop button before turning to you
• Your eyes were cloudy with tears as you shook your head
• “Jumin I’m so sorry I just—”
• “Just talk to me MC. What’s going on?”
• You caved and told him everything; from reporting your teacher to the court  cases that went on for almost three years
• “MC Oh God if I had known...I’m sorry. I promise I’ll be more careful; and we’ll get you some help, okay?”
707
• Surprisingly, he hadn’t triggered you when he found out
• He just noticed that at times you were a little, evasive when it came to intimacy with him
• While he really wanted o build this relationship out of trust, he just couldn’t get an answer out of you no matter how hard he tried
• So...he looked into your records. And what he found made him so angry that he’d thrown one of his many laptops against the wall
• “Saeyoung! Saeyoung what was that? Are you okay?”
• You walked in to see him squatting on the ground, head in his hands before he turned to you
• Tears were running down his cheeks as he hurriedly stood up and was in front of you, crushing you in a hug as you squeaked in surprised
• “Saeyoung...?”
• “I am so sorry that your father did that to you.”
• You were silent, a bit confused until reality sank in
• “So...you did some digging, huh? I’m sorry, I meant to tell you...”
• He nodded, and you couldn’t control it; you just burst into tears as he held you even tighter
• “I’m sorry Saeyoung, I just didn’t know how to tell you and it was so long ago but the thought of sex just...I just...”
• “Shh, MC. You don’t have to explain it to me. At least, not until you’r ready. Just know that I love you, and I will do absolutely do anything to help you get through this.”

“Do it.” Your friend pushes you towards the incredibly adorable busboy as he passes by your table.
“No, it’s stupid.”
“Y/N, I dared you. Now you have to do it.” You roll your eyes.
“That’s not even how dares work.” You lay back in your chair, eyes drifting over to the two handsome men who now stand talking at the cash register.
“Okay, fine, if you can’t have a conversation, at least get his number! I’ll go for that cute barista over there with the sleepy eyes.” How can eyes be sleepy? You shrug as she confidently strides to the counter to order another drink. Jasmine has always been the type of girl to tell people what she’s feeling in the heat of the moment. You had no idea where she got her confidence from, it just happened one fine summer day in sixth grade.
You’ve been best friends ever since you moved into the house across the street, along with Jaehyun and Jungkook. They are the non-identical twins that go to your school and the four of you were a group all through middle school. Things changed after highschool, Jae started hanging out with the wrong crowd and he moved out after saving up some drug money.
Jungkook, on the other hand, is still a sweetheart, protecting you and Jasmine as if you were his sisters. Sometimes you wonder how you even became friends with this meth-head of a girl, but then you realize you’re the same, you both are crackheads and that’s why you’re best friends. You sometimes doubt your friendship when she tries to push you out of your comfort zone. You hate opening up to people, and Jasmine knows it.
Yet, she still tries pushing you towards trying new things and being more extroverted. Your mind is already buzzing with a million different ways this can go wrong, but you’re surprised when the waiter approaches you with a smile on his face. I wonder if he’s truly happy or putting on a fake smile for the customers. You think to yourself. Sometimes you like to look at people and try putting together a life story for them. It helps your creative juices flow, as an amateur writer.
“Can I get you anything else?” He asks with a refreshingly soft voice for a man. You’re a bit taken aback by his melodic tone, and how freaking adorable he sounds with his Korean accent. You can’t tell what dialect it is, because his English flows very well.
“Actually…” You look over at Jasmine, who gives you a thumbs up as she sips her Pink Drink. “Can I have your number?” The man’s eyes widen momentarily and his gaze flickers up to the barista at the counter.
“Oh...Miss I’m very flattered but...see that man over there?” You turn around and face the barista who is busy on his phone at the moment.
“The sleepy-eyed one?” You ask, knowing full well where this is going.
“Yeah, him. Um, that’s my boyfriend.” Your smile falters for a moment but you feel a sudden sense of relief. You were afraid he would actually flirt back and possibly be a douchebag but he is exactly what you hoped he would be. A decent person who won’t cheat on his partner.
“Oh, thank goodness,” Your reaction makes him raise his eyebrows. Normally girls would sigh or be sad that he’s taken/gay, but you’re the first one who’s ever reacted like that. “I mean, sorry. My friend just forced me to ask for your number because she wants me to make friends and step out of my comfort zone, and now I’m...sorry just nevermind.” You trail off, cutting off your pointless rambling as the busboy wipes your table slightly.
“Hm, you’re interesting. You know what, just for that attempt, I am going to give you my number.” He winks at you, sliding you a piece of paper. Did he always have that paper with him? You laugh as he walks away and Jasmine bolts back to your table, excited to hear the juicy details.
“You did it!” She screeches, making half of the people whip their heads around to stare at you. You blush and sink in your seat when you see the adorable busboy speaking to his boyfriend. Just when you’re about to tell Jasmine what happened, you see the sleepy-eyed man look at you with a glare. You bite your teeth and suck in your cheeks as Jasmine starts talking about her encounter.
“Too bad, though. The sleepy dude just waved me away saying he already has a boyfriend.” She folds her arms. You stretch your legs, yawning a bit as you listen to your friend. “What? Am I boring you? Anyways, tell me what happened with the cute blue haired dude!” You giggle to yourself as your friend expected something more out of the interaction.
“Jasmine, he’s gay. And they’re-” You gesture to the two men talking behind the counter. “Together.” Jasmine sighs. You simply shake your head, flipping your hair to one side.
“Well, I guess my luck with men hasn’t changed. But at least they’re cute.” You giggle as your best friend sighs dramatically and then you move onto discussing other topics, like school.
Just as you’re about to exit the café, you realize that you didn’t ask the cute busboy for his name. During the whole five minutes that you talked to him, you didn’t even introduce yourself?! Great job, Y/N. You turn around, reaching for the piece of paper in your pocket to find that he indeed did write his name down for you. Jimin. What a beautiful name for a beautiful boy.
As you climb into the jeep that Jasmine’s parents bought for her 16th birthday, her phone rings, and she turns to you, puffing out her chest. You wiggle your eyebrows at her and then you both laugh after the awkward moment.
“It’s Jungkook.” She throws her phone at you, switching back to her “serious” persona.
“Whoa, what happened between you two for you to act this way?” You give Jasmine the stink eye as she caves under your pressure. She’s acting weird—weirder than usual.
“Nothing, just...ugh.” She clicks her seatbelt in and starts backing out of the parking lot.
“Jasmine, if you don’t tell me I’m gonna jump out the window. And we both know I’m not bluffing because I’m actually really short and this window is huge.” Her eyes widen in panic and her hands start shaking on the steering wheel.
“You see…..um ....Jungkook and I may or may not have gone all the way after a deep conversation about relationships.” I gawk at her, unable to process her words.
Sure JK is a flirt, but he never would’ve moved past touching, seeing how he’s practically scared of girls. There was even a point in your middle school lives where Jasmine believed he was gay and started calling him her “gbf.” Yeah, that wasn’t greatly received by your homophobic class of 2020.
“Bitch, you did not.” You slap the dashboard, shaking your head in disbelief. You can see guilt written all over her face but what’s worse is the fact that you had a crush on him for the longest time and she had no clue about it.
It’s not her fault, but sex can change a lot of things for different people. And you know despite whatever bullshit Jasmine tells you about it being a ‘one-time thing no feelings involved’ type deal, you know things are going to change between you, Jasmine, and Jungkook.
You don’t know how anyone will react, since you’ve never been in this situation before. You just know that your best friend, without even knowing it, broke your heart in two. Including Jungkook’s, who is probably crying by himself at the moment.
Your silence is enough to shut her up, as she stops talking mid-sentence and plays an EXO song on her phone, hooked up to the lavish quality stereo system which is connected to her fancy Jeep Wrangler, the vibrations sending shivers down your spine but you assume that’s from your gut, twisting in disgust planning for revenge with Jasmine. She has no regard for feelings when it comes to sex, and you’re more worried about your other best friend at the moment.
“Drop me off at JK’s place.” Your command makes her flinch, and then her eyes widen when she digests what you said.
“You aren’t going to tell him that I told you, are you?”
“Of course I’m gonna talk to him about it! While you’re over here thinking about how to end your friendship, that boy is probably breaking down in tears right now, or worse, binge eating and watching soapy K-dramas all alone!”
You slam her car door shut, stepping out with your red converse basking in the sunlight. It’s so bright out today, a little bit chilly but otherwise nice. Too bad Jungkook’s having a rainy day. You knock on his door, and his brother opens the door.
“Hey baby. Wanna join me and my buddie-”
“Yeah, nice to see you too Jaehyun, is Jungkook home?” You ask, pushing past him and his stoner pals on the couch.
“He’s upstairs.” There’s not much that needs to be said when you walk into his room.
As expected, he’s lying in his bed, blankets wrapped around his entire body, forming a cocoon of some sort as he distracts himself from the real world, again. It’s like every breakup ever, as you have seen him do all sorts of crazy shit while being heartbroken. He’s dated so many people, but none of them were his close friends. This time, it’s different, and you can tell he’s hurting more.
“Did you see Jasmine?” Is the first thing he asks when he sees you.
“I was with her earlier and she told me some stuff happened between you guys. And now I’m here for you. Tell me what you need.” Jungkook slowly rises, and you can see his hair standing straight up from the static, and his normally bright eyes are colored red from crying, his cheeks are red and puffy, and he looks exhausted. Drained, in fact.
“I made a mistake. I started kissing her first, it was like the time after my breakup with Madi-” He cuts himself off. You shiver, beginning to remember his touch. You hadn’t slept with him, not in a sexual context, anyway. He only kissed you, and his hands slid down the small of your back, tracing circles with his thumbs. You can feel the strange sensation creeping up on you, and then it hits you like a wave.
Jungkook is no longer the little boy that you once knew. He’s a grown man, and he can take care of you if you let him. But, you’re not that type of person. You would never take advantage of him, especially when he’s so vulnerable. “I promised myself I wouldn’t let it get in the way of our friendship, but after that night I knew we could never be just friends.” You take his clammy hands in your soft ones, kissing his fingers gently as tears threaten to spill from his eyes again.
“It’s okay, let it out.” You spend a good chunk of your time cuddling with him, and for a moment you imagine what life would be like if you actually started dating, but alas, he is too in love with your best friend. That’s how life is for you, you’ll always be a side character in a love story, and when it comes to love, guys always pick Jasmine. Guys talk to you because they see that you are friends with Jasmine. Girls invite you to sleepovers to ask you what you know about Jasmine, and worst of all, she stole multiple crushes from under your nose. But they were never truly yours to begin with.
After arriving at your house after a long day spent consoling Jungkook, youlop down on your bed, scrolling through some texts.

“Jungkookie, are you feeling any better?” You make your way to your best friend but then you overhear him speaking to some people.
“Oh yeah, she was the best in bed, don’t let her tough smart-girl act fool you, she was amazing, so submissive for me.” You hoped they were talking about someone else, but when you stick your head past the lockers, checking for a split second, you see that it was none other than your sensitive friend who was speaking to a group of younger males.
“Wow, you’re so cool, Hyung. I thought Y/N was the hardest girl to pin down.” Wait, what?! You resist the urge to storm out, eavesdropping a bit longer to see if you misheard things.
“Yeah boys, she came to me while I was playing Overwatch in my room and then she offered. Just straight up asked if I could fuck her.” You slam your fist against a locker and then you clench your teeth, about to confront him when the bell rings.
It’s 5th period. You don’t have a class because you have a release period. You instinctively check your phone, making sure you didn’t miss any important texts or calls before running out. You don’t know who to trust, or who to go to, as you lost your two best friends within the span of less than 24 hours. People suck.
Then you get a text, as you park your car in front of the coffee shop.
Tumblr media
You don’t text back, hoping to surprise him. You forgot to ask him about his work hours but you assumed he worked part-time everyday or something. As you walk up to the counter, you see him standing there, with a bright smile on his lips and crescent-shaped eyes.
“Ah, what a surprise! Hello, valued customer.” His playful attitude is enough to light up your day.
“Hey Jimin. Sorry for dropping in but I couldn’t think of anywhere else to go, c-can we talk?” You stutter, not realizing you were slurring your words together. Jimin nods, obviously worried about his new friend.
“What happened yesterday?” He takes you to the back of the café, an area where there are less people and you have more privacy.
“You know the friend that was here with me yesterday?” He nods, allowing you to grip his hand and squeeze it for comfort. He’s a really kind person, letting you open up to him without judgement. “She slept with another good friend of mine and ghosted him. And yesterday I went to his house and we talked about it and he cried on my shoulder, but today…”
You feel tears threatening to spill from your eyes. “...He was talking about what a good lay I was, lying about sleeping with me to a group of underclassmen.”
Your breathing is uneven as Jimin stares directly at you, keeping his gaze strictly on you. You feel naked, exposed, and vulnerable. But his reassuring smile makes you feel a little bit better. Just a little bit.
“Hey, break’s over, get out there.” You see the same man from yesterday, the guy who Jimin claimed was his boyfriend. He looks like the polar opposite of your mellow friend, with a darker aura radiating from him.
You feel like a deer under a lion’s gaze, as he closes in on you, backing you into your corner, making you feel even more vulnerable than before.
You only hoped he wouldn’t try to chase you away, as yesterday he gave you a very uncouth glare, displaying his annoyance with your friendship with Jimin.
You hope with time he will be able to accept you and possibly become a friend of yours as well, but for now, you can only run with your tail tucked between your legs. Just as you’d been running away from your so-called best friends in school.
You were even considering running to Jaehyun and trying one of his edibles, since he had offered a generous amount of times; it would only be courteous of you to finally accept and try it, as you’d been hearing “don’t try it, don’t try it,” your whole life.
You don’t care anymore, and hopefully under Jimin’s wing you will be able to learn about true friendship.
“Aren’t you the girl who asked for Jimin’s number yesterday?” His surprisingly solemn tone catches you off guard, as his eyes tell another story. Maybe that’s just the way he is, physically a very intimidating person but on the inside he might be a fluffy kitten! Okay, maybe not a total kitten, but still squishy. Why else would Jimin date him? He has to be a decent person, unlike all the people you called your friends.
“I am, thanks for noticing. Is there anything you wanted to tell me?” You try to sound as non-threatening as possible, holding your breath, waiting for an answer. You hoped Yoongi didn’t see you as a boyfriend-stealer, nor a generally annoying person.
“No, just wanted to ask you if you need anything else, an iced coffee, some tea...pink lemonade?” His lame attempt at cheering you up makes you crack a smile after a while.
“Maybe some water? I’m a little bit thirsty.”
“Coming right up,” After filling up a glass with water, he slides into the seat across from you, whipping out his phone and humming a tune of a familiar song you recognized from the radio. “I’m on break. This time of the day, things get a bit slow.” You nod in understanding, respectfully keeping your legs crossed and your arms folded in your lap, not wanting to show any sign of weakness.
“What song are you listening to?” You ask, hoping to make some small talk.
“Uncomfortable by Chase Atlantic. It’s my go-to after a stressful day.” You shift in your seat when you hear that name. You absolutely adore that band, and the lead singer’s vocals are absolutely heavenly. You could go on for hours, but you don’t want him to know that yet.
“Oh, that’s...cool I guess.” You try not to jump
up and down in joy as that’s a lesser known band and not very many people know about them.
“Do you know this song?” He leans forward, sliding you his phone and showing you the cover of an old album, one you recognize to be “Don’t Try This,” and the song is GREENGREENGREEN. Their song titles are a bit questionable, but they are true works of art, so you can let it pass.
“I suppose I’ve heard it once or twice…” You trail off, watching how the curve of his smooth lips turn upwards, and carefully, you watch how he mouths the words.
“All I see is green yuh
Moving on your seat yuh yuh yuh
All I see is green, All I see is green, All I see is green.” You smirk, slowly singing the next part.
“It's green where the grass grows
Let the cash flow
You can keep your head high, keep that ass low,” You laugh, the man across from you grinning at how weirdly you sang the lyrics.
You and Yoongi continue listening to Chase Atlantic songs together late into the evening hours. It’s around seven in the evening and the air is cool and humid.
“You have amazing taste in music, I’ve never met anyone else who listens to Chase Atlantic with such passion! Jimin’s an Alec Benjamin person but I always tell him they have similar music styles…” He trails off suddenly, worrying you with the pace of his cutoff. “Listen, I had a lot of fun talking to you. And at first I really didn’t get why Jimin wanted to get to know you better but now I see what he saw. You’re cool, Y/N.” You’re more surprised he remembered your name.
“Thanks Yoongi.” You share a moment of silence, just smiling at each other as Jimin makes his way back to your table.
“It’s time for me to clock out, we’re closing soon.” He slides into the seat across from you, next to Yoongi, and you watch as Yoongi expertly sneaks his arm around his boyfriend’s shoulder, and you feel small fireworks bursting in your heart. It’s not a weird feeling of jealousy, per say, but rather you feel mellow. You like seeing them together. You like this.
“Feels like just yesterday I walked in here and you gave me black coffee instead of an iced vanilla mocha because you were distracted by my sexiness.” Jimin girlishly flips his hair, and the three of you share a laugh before the lights start flickering.
“What’s going on?”
“Looks like there’s something wrong with the power. Jin!!! Did you mess with the electrical again?!” Yoongi runs back inside the kitchen, making sure everything is fine.
“We’re good, just a minor fix,” you hear the voice of another man from inside. You and Jimin exchange worried looks as the lights stay on for a total of 1.032342352 seconds and then they just turn off completely.
“Dammit, stupid thunderstorm outside caused a power outage through town.” You heard Yoongi cursing from the kitchen before he opened the door and stumbled outside back to you.
“Well, when are the lights gonna come back on?” You ask, clutching onto the table as you sink back on the wooden surface.
“News reports say power lines are under service and will be back in function in an hour.” Jimin shows you the article, making you shiver from the thought of spending the night at the café. You most probably won’t have to do that, since your car is right outside and you can just drive home. But do you really want to face your neighbors after a really tough day of school? No. Your bets are that they will probably try to infiltrate your home, failing are trying to “make it up to you.” You’ve lost any trust you had in them before, Jungkook and Jasmine really screwed up this time.
“It’s cold, isn’t it?” Jimin sounds steady, but you can faintly see the outline of his striped shirt and how his muscles contract as he shivers right in front of you. You admire him for putting up the dauntless act, but it doesn’t help as the sound of his teeth clashing give it all away.
“Here, take my jacket. I’m not that cold.” You offer him your coat and he hesitantly slips it over his shoulders. He doesn’t wear it, afraid of stretching out the expensive material and risking threat or wearing it out.
“Thanks.”
“Hey guys, can you come in here please? We need help with the door.” You and Jimin carefully make your way to the pantry, which is at a door at the end of the kitchen. You’d never been inside one in a restaurant, but you assumed it was the same as your school. The kitchen was the darkest room, but thanks to the dim lighting from Jimin’s phone, you safely arrived at the end of the path.
“What are you doing now?” You see a second man, taller than Yoongi and Jimin combined, holding a large box.
“We’re just taking this inside. This stuff is smelly, so we make sure they stay sealed in the pantry until we need them,” The older man has a charming smile, and you can already tell he is a gentleman. He looks a little bit older than you, but you can tell by his mannerisms that he’s a bit older. “And hi, I’m Jin.” He introduces himself, winking at you as he walks past, with Yoongi rolling his eyes at the lame flirting attempt. You thought it was cute.
“Coming through! Move over babe.” Yoongi warns Jimin, who holds the door open while you watch over his shoulder, making sure he doesn’t fall back. Not that you will be of any help.
“Oh crap, I think I forgot something in the kitchen!” You and Jimin make your way into the pantry, shrugging at the way Jin quickly left his post.
“So...what’s exactly in the box?” Your curiosity seems to know no limits as you keep asking questions, over and over again. Yoongi and Jimin, however, find it amusing.
“Vinaigrette. All the same type, same brand.” Yoongi dusts his hands and walks back to the closed door, wrapping his fingers around the cool metal knob before turning it….to find that it doesn’t open.
“What’s wrong, hyung?” Jimin asks, wrapping your jacket around him more tightly. You sigh at his adorable pout. But of course, you try to ignore their moment, focusing on your phone instead. Your battery is at 8% already, and you need to save as much power as you can. However, you also need to distract yourself.
“It won’t open.” You stand up. You’ve hated small spaces since you were a little girl and you refuse to get stuck in a food pantry with two insanely attractive men. What if you run out of oxygen? It’s not them, it’s you.
“Whoa, are you okay?” Yoongi notices your mini panic attack, as you pant heavily, now looking for some sort of opening to crawl through. You need to escape.
“I need to get out!” You shudder as the dim lighting of your phone suddenly disappears. Your phone just died. What the fuck are you going to do now?!
“We’re fine, we just need to call Jin,” Yoongi knocks on the door, and you all stay quiet to hear any feedback. What you didn’t know was that Jin had gone out to run errands and he wouldn’t be back until much later.
“Let me text him.” Luckily, Jimin’s phone has enough power to send one text. Jin replies quickly, telling Jimin that he’ll be back in half an hour, maybe even later because of the horrible weather.
“Looks like we’ll be stuck here for awhile.” Yoongi sits down on the floor first, making himself comfortable between two flour bags. You and Jimin make yourselves comfortable on the floor, shrugging as you snuggle into some things but the lights are off so you have no idea where you’re sitting. Your eyes are adjusted to the darkness, so you can see the faint outlines in the pitch darkness.
Then you think of all the things that happened today. How you overheard Jungkook telling people lies, and how heartlessly Jasmine let go of him (even though he partially deserved it), and all of the lies and betrayal. Jasmine has cheated on a lot of her past boyfriends, but for some reason you thought she would treat Jungkook differently. And Jungkook just cares about fitting in. You wish you could forget it all and go back to being friends, but you are just so, so sad. They broke your heart. You don’t know if you can trust anyone else ever again. You silently sob, hoping they wouldn’t notice.
But your stupid sniffles give you away.
“Are you..crying?” Jimin asks after a long silence.
“No…” You wipe your tears and turn to his voice.
“Tell us what’s wrong.” Yoongi’s warmth creates an almost suffocating feeling in the air as your breathing falters and you feel very disconnected from your environment. You can’t even tell if your eyes are open or not because of how long you’ve been trapped. It’s driving you mad. The only thing keeping you sane are the two men sitting in front of you...or behind you. You can’t tell anymore.
“I just want my friends back. And I want to believe that everything will be alright but lately...everything’s been horrible! Life just keeps throwing one obstacle after another and I just want to believe that everything will be okay but it isn’t! My best friend slept with my other best friend and now everything’s weird between the three of us, and my other friend decided to tell everyone that we’re screwing. I DIDN’T DO ANYTHING! Everything is spiraling out of control and I can’t do shit,” You breathe heavily and silence follows, as the boys allow you to catch your breath, not inputting anything just yet. “Thanks for letting me rant. I just needed to let that out, I guess.” You bite your bottom lip, and you can smell the anticipation in the air as the boys wait for their turn to speak.
Oh wow, now you’ve robbed them of their words. Aren’t you the best friend ever.
“Can I say something?” Jimin waits for a moment before dictating his thoughts, “It sounds like you were just thrown into a random mess that had nothing to do with you directly.” He says, earning a cough from Yoongi. Luckily, the sleepy-eyed man is kind enough to cough in his sleeve (ugh corona) and he says, “I agree with Jimin. And that guy sounds like a bitch boy. I’m pretty sure he’s one of those coconut headed e-boy wannabes. Or just a plain fuckboy.” You scrunch your nose. “Jungkook isn’t like that.”
“Oh, with a name like that he’s bound to have a talent. Maybe he dances really well? Lemme guess, he’s a really good singer but is as shy as a goat.” You didn’t know goats were shy. Yoongi seems knowledgeable, so you don’t question him.
“He’s a good singer, alright, but he wants to be a progamer when he graduates.” You reveal it to them, all of a sudden going off on a tangent about your childhood crush and best friend.
“It sounds like you guys are close,” Jimin whispers in a hushed voice, so quietly that you almost miss him. “And from what I can tell, he’s insecure and wants people to think he’s cool. So he used you, as stupid as it was, I think he’s worth fighting for.” You feel a sudden lightness in your chest, like you just confessed something you felt guilty about. It’s as if he’s in your head, and he understands exactly what you’re going through.
“Jimin and I actually got together because of a misunderstanding in the first place, if he hadn’t fought for us, who knows where he might’ve ended up?” You can’t see what Jimin does exactly, but you assume that his face is scrunched up into a cute cringe of sorts, anything that man does is adorable.
“My parents would’ve forced me to become a pastor. They aren’t exactly the most open-minded people...coming out to them was the hardest thing I ever did. And luckily, Yoongi was with me all through the process after they disowned me and threw me out of the house. I guess I lost my biological family but I ended up with something even better.” You feel your lips turn upward, the first feeling you’ve experienced since sadness. You feel hopeful, and happy that the two men can freely be together without judgement from those around them.
You feel slightly jealous as well, since their relationship worked out and yours with Jungkook are in shambles. Maybe it’s not too late to fix this, but seeing as he hadn’t even sent you as much as a “Good morning” text, you decided it was better to leave him alone for now. The darkness is not only making you blind; it’s making you unempathetic. You do feel a bit of fear though, as the sense of not knowing what else might be in here with you is overwhelming and you literally want to curl into a ball and cry. “Your breathing is heavy again...are you okay?” Yoongi’s voice soothes you as you slowly recover from the mini-panic attack. You don’t know if you can take it anymore.
“Sorry, I’m just a little claustrophobic.” You hear some shifting as Yoongi makes himself more comfortable.
“Oh shit, I forgot about Jin,” Jimin pulls out his phone, as it vibrates with a text. Your vision is blurry, but you can see his face with the help of the dim light from his device. “Jin said he’s running late in traffic. We might be stuck for a little longer.” You snap, reaching for the closest thing to you, standing up on your two wobbly legs.
“I can’t do this! I’m going crazy, I need to get out! Anything...away….can’t breathe!” You start taking deep breaths, slightly embarrassed at showing the two boys you barely know your weak side. Of course, they are absolute sweethearts about it.
“Honja jjujeo anja
Saenggag man keojyeoga
Eonjebuteo neon nal apeuge haessdeonga
Neo jochado moreujanha,” He slowly makes his way behind you, snaking his arms around your shoulders in a very intimate manner.
“Neodo apeujanha 'cause you’re mine
I just want to blow your mind
Ireohge neon tto meoleojyeo man ganeunde,” You close your eyes and sink into his embrace, swaying in a movement that could only be described as heaven. His voice is heaven.
“I want you to be your light, baby
You should be your light
Deoneun apeuji anhge
Nega useul su issge
I want you to be your night, baby
You could be your night
Ibami neoege soljighal su issge…” He trails off, leaving you feeling speechless from listening to his honey-like voice. The song is also new, something you’ve never heard. You clap, astounded by his vocals.
“That was amazing!!! Thank you so much for doing that.” You can almost picture the cute blush on his cheeks as you praise him, but you aren’t going to let him know that.
“No problem.” As you both share a moment, Yoongi finds a supposed way out.
“Look, there’s a duct back here. Should one of us go through and see if they can let the others out?” You and Jimin share a look of suspicion but you volunteer anyways.
“I guess I’ll do it. Seems logical.” You get to your hands and feet, and Jimin gives you his phone, tenderly. There’s a gentleness in his eyes and through the blinding light of the flashlight on his phone, you could see his pupils dilate slightly. For a moment, it’s just you and him, as the rest of the world fades to black. You snap out of your daze when Yoongi coughs into his arm again, and you prepare to crawl into a dusty duct that’s been closed for decades.
You eventually find an exit, and you’re surprised at how long Jimin’s battery life was. It was only at 49%, despite him using his phone for half the time you were together. He must’ve charged it to the full 100%. You find a screw loose on another duct, opening it with ease and slipping into the kitchen. And then when you shine your flashlight, you realize your location.
You quickly run to the locked door and find that opening it from the outside is a piece of cake. The two men are thankful, but they still complain about the power. Jimin texts Jin that all of you got out, and he just tells you to go home.
The time is about 9:41, 2 hours later than you’d hoped to go home. Nonetheless, you had fun spilling your heart to these two wonderful men. You’ve never felt so close with a pair of strangers, but you can tell these two will become an important part of your life very soon.
                                     ༻• At your House •༺
“Where were you?” Your mother yells as you walk through the door, and you put your bag on the floor, flopping face down on the couch.
“I was at a café but then there was a power outage and I got stuck in a food pantry.” You nonchalantly tilt your head upwards at your mom, as her look of anger changes into one of worry.
“How did you get out?” She asks, bringing you a cheese sandwich. You plug in your phone upside down, but it’s okay because you can see the logo pop up after a minute.
“I crawled through a duct. It was fun but dusty. Oh, sorry for not texting you. My phone died.” She raises an eyebrow.
“Y/N...is there something you’re not telling me?” You fold your arms, whining like a baby. “Was there someone else with you?” You nod, not wanting to tell your mom in detail. “Okay, I’m not gonna ask any more questions. But earlier Jungkook came by, he wanted to talk to you in person. After he left, Jasmine dropped by an hour ago, saying she wanted to see you too. Did something happen between the three of you?” You sigh, turning right-side up on the couch, resting your head on your mother’s shoulder.
“Mom, can I please just go to bed? I don’t feel so good.” Instead of pestering you to tell her, she complies with your wishes, leaving you alone to go into the kitchen.
“Oh, I forgot to tell you, I started renting the top floor of our house to two nice young men. They’ll stay with us, and we can get money.” You raise your eyebrows at her, not believing her fully. Your mom was never the type of person to do that. You had suggested it in the past, but she had never fully gone through with plans before. Especially big ones.
“And why did you agree to it?”
“Because they are so charming, Y/N, when I put the ad up, they immediately responded, saying that they’d do all the housework and help cook, and take care of the house as if it was theirs, even though they are paying to stay in one room.” You grab your backpack and make your way upstairs. After finishing your nighttime routine, you tuck yourself in and retire for the night.
You wake up with the sudden urge to pee. So, you run to the bathroom only to find a very unexpected sight. The same man with the crescent shaped eyes when he smiles is standing in your bathroom, brushing his teeth.
“J-Jimin?” He turns his head, looking at you with wide eyes.
“Y/N? What are you doing here?”
“I live here!”
“Me too!” Dear God, what has your mother done?

Genre: Fluff and Angst mainly
Word count: 3.2k
The room was dark, it was almost 7 pm and the gloomy feeling was hard to ignore the stench even harder. No one was sleeping but scrolling through his phone Jaehyun was going through a wave of different emotions in the darkness of his unshared room.
“Jaehyun,” the voice on the other end of the door speaks, the others had tried to ignore his self-isolation attempts but they had to draw the line somewhere and that happened to be tonight. With no answer to his name, the person attempted to open the door only to find it locked and a groan to follow.
“Jae, open the door you’ve been in there for a week,” The voice is slightly annoying and so Jaehyun lets out a low inaudible mumble but doesn’t budge from his bed he just fips over like a pancake.
“Is he still not out?” a second voice can be heard much quieter than the first.
“No, he’s still sulking,” after that there’s just silence. Jaehyun just assumes that they’ve left him be, but then the voices speak again.
“Jaehyun locking yourself in your room and scrolling through old pictures on your phone isn’t healthy,” in a sense Jaehyun knew they were right but he couldn’t stop himself from doing it as he finally throws the covers off and walks over to the door opening it.
“Shut up,” He grumbled in the doorway, the faces of Johnny and Yuta looking back at him.
“Look this is the third time that she’s done this to you, you need to stop going back to her and treating her like some sort of goddess,” Yuta bluntly states to the heartbroken boy in front of him.
“I think what Yuta is trying to say, is that there’s better fish in the sea and Heejin-” Johnny knew he messed up saying her name and stopped himself.
“And what Johnny is saying is that you need to get out of your room, which is why we’re throwing a party tonight,” Yuta says as if it's a statement not really giving Jaehyun a choice.
“I’m not going,” Jaehyun retreats back into his room leaving the door open as the two make their way in, the room is an utter mess that can be seen as soon as they switch the light on but what hit them first was that horrible smell of old food.
“Jae… at least clean your room, there’s a pile of dirty dishes on your desk and it smells rancid,” Johnny points out but Jaehyun keeps his back turned away from them not acknowledging their presence in his room just going back on his phone.
“Jaehyun. You need to stop feeling sorry for yourself.” Yuta snatches the phone out of Jaehyun’s hands to see the last picture Jaehyun had taken with Heejin on the screen. Jaehyun immediately grabs it from him, anger runs through his veins, a glare on his face.
“Delete them,” Yuta crosses his arms, eyebrows knit together, the both of them can be so stubborn.
“I can’t… she’ll come back like she always does…” Jaehyun tries to say confidently but he has doubts which ring clear in his voice.
“And what will you do if she just doesn’t? What if she never comes back? What will you do?” Yuta pressures Jaehyun who throws his hands in the air.
“SHE WILL,” Jaehyun snaps out of anger as Johnny steps between the two who are clearly on the verge of fighting each other.
“And if she does you should turn her away, she’s done nothing but hurt you, Jae,” Yuta lets out a defeated sigh before leaving the room. Jaehyun goes back to sitting on his bed unsure of when he even stood up in the heat of the moment. He holds his head in his hands looking at the ground.
“Please come out of your room tonight, at least take your mind off things, it’s not good to do this to yourself, and for god’s sake take a shower,” Johnny comments what he feels he must in the most neutral way he knows before leaving Jaehyun alone once again.
-----
“____~” Your roommate Miyoung walks into your shared dorm smiling like an idiot with a happy bounce in her step that makes you feel suspicious towards her intentions right away, she usually comes back from class looking miserable as you raise an eyebrow at her looking from your computer up at her.
“Why are you so happy?” You don’t waste time trying to bounce around the source of her good mood instead you were very blunt with her knowing she’d try to tiptoe around what she wants if you didn’t ask.
“Well, I decided we’re gonna go out tonight!” She wraps her arms around you from where you’re sat at your desk in a hug as if to beg you to join her.
“No.” You shrug her off not hesitating, leaving the girl to pout as you finish the sentence you’re on before you can lose your train of thought.
“But _____,” She whines plopping down on her bed sadly giving you the biggest puppy dog eyes.
“The last time you dragged me out to a frat party if you remember, I was sat on the side the entire time while you got to happily party.” You type away on your computer trying to focus on the paper you’re writing the sound of the keys being pressed is somehow louder than usual.
“It’s not my fault! I tried to get you to join me, You’re completely single I don’t understand why you don’t put yourself out there and puh-lease don’t use your crush as an excuse,” Your friend could call your bullshit better than anyone you know past and present, even your parents. She was too good, especially at reasoning.
“I know…” You mumble to yourself as you stop typing your mind unable to focus on too many things so you turn to look at her.
“And what else are you gonna do tonight anyway? Scroll through Instagram living vicariously through people when you can actually be out there having those experiences? Watching YouTube videos while snacking? Pretending to write an essay that you’ll only end up procrastinating like everyone else?” The thing is that she was right. You always talked the talk about wanting to experience life but when an opportunity came up you never took it. So you shut your laptop and looked at her with defeat she was so persuasive which was good for her, not so much for you.
“Fine! I’ll go out!” You cave-in throwing your hands in the air out of defeat and she’s back to her upbeat mood bouncing out of the bed quickly to get to her closet to find anything to wear. You, on the other hand, didn’t budge staying in your seat. You didn’t want to change out of your normal study outfit which consisted of a pair of shorts and a hoodie.
“______!” Your friend shouts, throwing a dress in your direction which lands on your head blocking your vision.
“HEY!” You shout pulling the dress off your face and sending glares her way.
“You need to get ready!” She argues as you take a glance at the time.
“It’s only 7, and I don’t take as long as you do to get ready, so let me work on this paper for an hour and then I’ll get ready,” You reason and she lets out a long sigh followed by a drawn-out fine not wanting to push her luck.
--------
“Seeeeeee isn’t that better?” Johnny asks when he enters Jaehyun’s room, the plates have been cleared out, there are new clean sheets on the bed and Jaehyun cleaned himself up even, freshly shaved and everything. Well on the outside he looked fine, his mind in actuality is a mess. Jaehyun just shrugs, not very interested as he shakes his damp hair. Getting Jaehyun to leave the dorm would be a task in itself but if there's one thing Johnny is, it's determined.
“Look, Jae, if you come out tonight I’ll stop bothering you about everything but please you really need to leave your room and have some fun, you can sit around sulking for all I care just leave the room,” Johnny pleads hoping to convince his friend to leave.
“If I hate it I’m retreating.” Is all Jaehyun says not even looking up from his phone but Johnny is clearly silently rejoicing.
“Okay, yeah,” Johnny calmly nods before going to exit Jaehyun’s room, closing the door behind him.
“HE SAID HE’LL GO!” Johnny yells out to Yuta and whoever else is listening after leaving Jae’s room causing a smile to appear on Jae's face and his dimples to become visible until he looks down at his phone and his lock screen changes his mood completely, the small smile completely gone.
“I’m fucked,” He sighs before throwing the phone onto the bed thinking for a moment, silence until Yuta appears in the doorway almost like magic.
“Get up you simp, we’re starting,” Yuta walks over spotting his phone before turning the screen on.
“You won’t get laid if your lock screen is still that picture,” Yuta tries to reason but it’s too hard to change it so Jaehyun just grabs the phone slipping it into his pocket.
“I just won’t show it to anyone,” Jaehyun brushes Yuta off walking past him and out of the room, he wasn’t the same wild Jaehyun they had met back in freshman year when he would be having fun and not having any cares, they missed that Jaehyun, but he seemed impossibly gone.
As soon as people start coming Jae grabs a few bottles of Soju and finds a spot where he won’t be bothered.
------
Frat parties weren’t your favorite it’s true but they weren’t the worst it depends on who you’re with, so when you got into the cramped room past the entryway, clearly, they wanted the maximum amount of people they could fit in as you try to stay to the wall of the place, you’re holding Miyoung’s hand tightly so the two of you aren’t separated but Miyoung could clearly care less as she only lightly holds yours and complains.
“____, are you trying to break my hand?” She shouts above the bass booming off the wall. You realize you’re holding her hand in a death grip and let off a bit of the pressure as soon as you both reach the drinks, beer, beer, and more beer.
“Can we just relax?” You ask your friend who lets out a laugh before signaling over one of the frat boys she had been with a few times you can’t quite remember his name but he’s a sweetheart, she knew where to get the real stuff, clearly wasting no time at all to get started, she looks at you before shouting again.
“MAKE IT TWO! Look we came to have some fun, you can stay here for a bit but once you’re sufficiently sad I’m dragging you out to dance,” you nod reluctantly agreeing to her as you usually did.
“Love you,” She blows you an air kiss before she downs her drink, Soju, in record speed as soon as the drinks are down in front of her while you take a bit longer, mid drink though she’s already run off leaving you alone as she drags the drink guy away to dance with the other sweaty bodies. You weren’t in any rush to join her as you look around
“Can I sit here?” You ask timidly as you finish off your own drink and point to the seat next to the stranger after finding a less crowded spot in the room.
“Sure,” He doesn’t really acknowledge you or your presence. You hesitate to talk but you remember Miyoung in her higher than necessary but cute voice telling you to ‘live a little’.
“What’s your name?” You lean over downing the rest of your second drink for a bit of liquid courage to maybe to kick in.
“Jung Yoonoh, but everyone just calls me Jaehyun,” The boy who couldn’t be older than 23 sitting next to you mumbles barely audible over the loud music blasting. He seemed uninterested as he grips his drink almost angrily.
“Jaehyun, I like that,” you smile thinking out loud without a filter, although you’ve maybe had two drinks you still didn’t have much of a filter anyway.
“Why are you so agitated?” You tilt your head to the side slightly as if a curious puppy saw something that interested them.
“I’m not.” He finally meets your eyes but you just roll yours before leaning back in your seat slightly, definitely more relaxed.
“Then tell me Yoonoh, why are you gripping your drink like you hate it? And why are you speaking like I’m the most annoyin-” he cuts you off by attaching his lips to yours. It’s not a light kiss, it’s full of anger and annoyance unsure of if it’s because you or someone else that’s caused his anger but you return the heated kiss before he pulls away leaving you slightly breathless, your lips feel every moment.
“I didn’t leave my place to be psychoanalyzed but some stranger,” Jaehyun picks up his drink before emptying it into his mouth trying to take the edge off as you touch your lips the sting lingering.
“And I didn’t leave my dorm to talk to some asshole,” You roll your eyes finally out of your short daze dropping your fingers from your lips and taking another drink which had, clearly he had friends in the frat since he had some Soju and not a warm beer like most of the other part goers.
“You’re the one who approached me.” He says under his breath clearly wanting you to leave but you simply pout leaning against the arm of the chair trying to get a better look at him in the dimly lit room, your vision slightly distorted but you could still see him, a handsome man, definitely not your usual type, he was much tougher which you admit is attractive but you always were interested in people with a softer appearance.
“This place is packed I saw an open seat-” you try to explain but he mimics your movement resting his arm against the chair leaning forward so that your faces are once again only inches apart but you don’t really register this completely.
“You didn’t have to force yourself to make small talk,” he smirks his eyes looking over your face, you’re actually very attractive and clearly confident in the next words you say.
“I wanted to talk to you, you’re cute,” You laugh before booping his nose with your finger, he’s surprised at first but eventually does laugh with you as your eyes widen in surprise not only at his laugh but his incredibly cute dimples that you had a slight urge to just kiss but held back.
“You smiled! That’s a win for me!” You tease sticking your tongue out at him as you down another sip of your drink unsure of if it’s number three or four, Jaehyun joins you in drinking as well.
“Why are you here?” His demeanor is definitely more relaxed now that he’s had a few drinks and clearly you were very distracting for what was on his mind.
“My friend dragged me out for a good time,” You laugh watching Miyoung having a great time up against a different guy this time but you didn’t really worry a ton she could definitely hold her own and she was only on her first drink, she wasn’t exactly a lightweight.
“What about you hmm, angry boy?” You’re leaning towards him again, the drinks were starting to hit you more at this point but you didn’t care.
“To forget,” He says without thinking as you raise an eyebrow in confusion.
“Forget what?” You question bringing your hands up to your face to feel the heat radiating off your cheeks from the alcohol.
“The paper I have due tomorrow,” Jaehyun lies as he makes sure his phone is facing downwards realizing he really should have taken Yuta’s advice.
“Oop, me too!” You don’t take note of Jaehyun’s movements trying to focus on his face, your eyes are dilated.
“What’s your major?” He raises an eyebrow trying to guess, maybe you’re a bio major or some type of business major but he doesn’t expect what you say.
“Korean Sign Language,” You smile before taking another sip.
“I bet you’re great with your hands then,” Jaehyun smirks as you almost choke before giving him a sly smile.
“I should show you sometime,” You wink placing your drink on the ground next to you.
“Why wait?” Jaehyun asks shaking his hair that falls in front of his face.
“You’re eager aren’t cha?” you ask before a small squeal that only he can really hear leaves your lips when he pulls you to sit on his lap so that you’re straddling him, not that you’re complaining. He wasn’t gentle at all, he definitely didn’t mind manhandling anyone, which makes your heart hammer out of your chest.
“Just a little bit,” Jaehyun smirks before he attacks your neck with his lips, you almost start laughing immediately, your neck is extremely ticklish unknown to him. You bite your lip to suppress the laughter, but as soon as he lips brush over a particularly sensitive part you let out a giggle. Jaehyun pulls away slightly to look at you confusion on his face.
“Not the reaction I was expecting,” He tilts his head slightly and your face heats up further out of embarrassment.
“My neck is ticklish,” You speak softly looking away from his face but he moves your face to meet his as he looks directly into your eyes. Something about his eyes is different the emotion behind them is almost sad.
“Good,” Jaehyun’s lips are on yours again for the second time that night and you get a better feel of his lips that taste almost like bubble gum, your hands go straight to his hair as he deepens the kiss between the two of you, your both frightening for dominance until you hear something.
“AYEEEEE ____, Get it!” Miyoung’s voice makes you falter smiling into the kiss giving Jaehyun the opportunity to slip his tongue into your mouth, your whole body is on fire at this point. His hands that were previously resting on your waist move lower and you pull away from him scanning around the room, there were still a ton of people around.
“We’re in public,” You point out and he smirks leaning close to your ear his breath on your neck makes you laugh lightly.
“Should we go upstairs then?” and then you put two and two together, he was clearly a frat boy you should have known from the Soju bottles which just made things more convenient.
“And do what?” You tease before Jaehyun stands up, your legs wrapped around his torso as he heads towards the stairs, you could hear Miyoung yelling ‘WRAP IT BEFORE YOU TAP IT!’ after the two of you.
The next thing you know he’s flinging you onto his bed and him pinning you down going back to continue his advances without protest.

nct 127′s reaction their crush confessing
Hello! So here is my first reaction. If you guys could give feedback that would be good. Also, if you want to see anything, feel free to request anything.
TAEIL
Tumblr media
Taeil wouldn’t know how to react at first. He’d definitely blush and stumble over his words. After a moment or two of fumbling, he’d quickly let you know that he’d like you back, especially as he saw you grow more and more worried.  He wouldn’t want you to think he was rejecting you, especially after loving you for such a long time.
“So I guess... No?” You spoke, your throat constricting as you tried not to let any tears fall.
“W-what? Of course not, I’ve loved you for so long.” He spoke, taking your face in his hands. A smile rose to your face as he leaned forwards and pressed a kiss to your nose. “I like you too, (Y/N)”
JOHNNY
Tumblr media
So cocky. I mean sooo cocky. He would grin and make you repeat what you said. The more you say it the bigger his smile gets until he eventually caves and kisses you on the cheek. One he’d done it once, the excitement would take him over and he’d go back in and kiss all over your face, making you giggle.
“Wait, wait, what was that, (Y/N)” He’d say, watching your eyes roll for what seemed like the 100th time.
“Johnny!” You groaned, fed up of him already. “Wish I’d never said it in the first place now. He gasped and shook his head before leaning forwards, his lips making contact with your cheek.
“If you hadn’t have said it, that wouldn’t have happened, would it.”
TAEYONG
Tumblr media
A shy baby. He would blush and giggle and hide his face, proving to you why you liked him. He’d be so shy that he wouldn’t even speak or make eye contact with you for a few seconds. After a few seconds, he’d lift his head up and just smile at you. He wouldn’t say anything in a while, but you’d know that he reciprocated your feelings.
“I like you Tae. I really, really like you.” Taeyong broke down in a fit of giggles, a cute smile appearing on his face. You watched him for a second before he caught his breath and smiled at you.
“I like you too (Y/N). I really, really like you too.”
YUTA
Tumblr media
Another cocky one. He’d smile and wink and just make fun of the situation. He liked you back, he just wanted to mess with you for a while. If he saw you getting annoyed or upset though, he’d give up his charade and tell you he’d like you back ,adding a wink to the end of his sentence.
“Yuta!” You’d moan at him, a frown on your face. That would quickly make him stop with his teasing.
“Oh come on, (Y/N), you don’t seriously think I don’t like you back, do you? I’m shocked you haven’t realised already.”
DOYOUNG
Tumblr media
He’d watch your face for a few seconds to check if you were joking around, but as soon as he realised you weren’t, he’d be so happy. He’s liked you for so long and for his feelings to be returned would make him feel like the happiest person alive. He’d tell you immediately that he liked you back whilst holding your hands in his.
“Doyoung, I just wanted to tell you that I like you...” You waited a few seconds for a response, and when you didn’t get one immediately, it made you super tense. Eventually, he took your hands in his, making eye contact with you.
“I like you too (Y/N). I have for a while actually
JAEHYUN
Tumblr media
Jaehyun would absolutely love it. Honestly, if you hadn’t confessed, he would have done it soon anyway. He’d just laugh and take you into his arms in a tight hug. Lets be real, the hug would last for so long and it would be so nice. He’d definitely be the type to whisper in your ears that he liked you back mid hug, but he wouldn’t let go afterwards. You’d 100% be there for a while.
“Jae, sweetie, can you let me go now?” You’d be smiling, but you’d feel a little uncomfortable due to the position you were being held in by Jaehyun’s arms. Sure, you’d appreciate his response, but you just wanted to sit normally for a while.
“Just a few more minutes. I need to make up for lost time.”
WINWIN
Tumblr media
He’d be surprised that you hadn’t already noticed that he like you with the amount he hugged you and touched you. After all, he wasn’t about to have human contact with just anybody! He’d feel confident after you tell him, the person he like liked him back and that was obviously going to boost his ego a little bit.
“You’re telling me you’ve only just noticed I like you?” He made eye contact and gave a simple smile. “You really are clueless sometimes.”
“Winnie! That’s so unfair.”
JUNGWOO
Tumblr media
Another shy baby. Try saying you like this boy without him blushing and smiling so wide that it looks like his face could split open. He’d try to make it less awkward for him by winking and shooting a finger gun, but he soon realised that it wasn’t as awkward as he first thought.
“What are you doing, Jungwoo?” You giggle, watching as he fumbles around with his hands. He quickly dropped his hands to his sides let out a nervous laugh.
“I just... I like you too, (Y/N)”
MARK
Tumblr media
His brain could not compute the information the information he has just received. You liked him too? What? How could someone as perfect as you like someone like him? He clearly wouldn’t know what to say so he would blurt out the first the thing that came into his head, whether it is a normal thing to say or not.
“But why would you do that?” Mark’s face was in shock as he spoke; his eyes were wide and stared directly into yours. The innocent look on his face almost made you laugh... almost.
“You’re perfect Mark. That’s why I’d do that.”
HAECHAN
Tumblr media
If you wanted to keep this a secret, good luck keeping this boy from telling everyone he knows. He would be so proud of himself, even though he literally did nothing but tell you that he liked you back. He is the most excited boy on the planet and will 100% refuse to let you live it down for a very long time.
“Haechan, are you planning on telling anyone else?” He riffled through the contacts on his phone, shushing you as he did it.
“Let me just tell Jeno and then I’ll be done.”

"Case 002: Family Affairs"
A Busted fanfic
010.
Undisclosed Alley
Gangnam, South Korea
It’s a miracle to Kwang-soo that he and Jong-min are still alive. Both of them seem to have stopped breathing nearly an hour ago after the goons in suits appeared up the street. Jae-wook has told them that their very lives now depended on them being very quiet and very unseen, and terrified out of their wits (and the very, veryreal guns sticking out of the men’s holsters) they have withheld even a necessary thing such as air from themselves.
“Hyung,” Jong-min says so quietly as he continues to sink into the front passenger seat. “Are – are you sure they can’t see us?”
“Windows are heavily tinted, and we’re nearly fourand a half blocks away from them,” Jae-wook says coolly, eyes straight ahead to their marks. Though discreet, Kwang-soo thinks he’s still a little too loud. He won’t be the one to say that to him, though. “As long as we stay put and not draw attention, I doubt they’d know about us.”
Jong-min only swallows – a reaction Kwang-soo fully understands.
“Hyung, how long do you think it’ll take Poet to get here?” Kwang-soo asks.
That begets a cutting glare from the former police officer. “How many times will you ask me?” Jae-wook says. “I told you both earlier that this will be a stakeout. That means we could be here the whole night. Instead of asking me questions, why don’t you look at the street behind us to see if there are any cars approaching?”
Jong-min gives him a sympathetic glance once Jae-wook peers into a binocular. The two of them got stuck with this assignment because Jae-wook decided earlier that they were going to come with him. They’ve been dreading it since – and so far it looks like they were correct to feel that way towards it.
Once Jong-min turns back around, Kwang-soo does as he’s told. He looks through the streets behind them for any signs of life. Quickly, he concludes that it’s a drearier, less exciting version of their view blocks ahead. The street lights cast a melancholic glow on a forgotten piece of Gangnam. The backdrop of a dark and nearly starless sky depreciates the already dismal scenery even more.
Eventually, he tires of the chore and pulls out his phone. He’s tempted to text Min-young, to tell her how everything is driving him crazy. However, he realizes that it won’t be fair to involve her in this. She already did her share of the dangerous and the tedious that morning. No need to drag her back in.
“He’s here.”
It’s nearly half an hour later when Jae-wook says that. Sitting up, Kwang-soo sees that as their group stirs to life, Poet’s friends are also awakened. He leans forward, careful not to bump into the touchy former agent.
It’s then he notices Jong-min asleep.
As a token of appreciation for his sympathy, he taps him awake before Jae-wook can notice.
“Poet’s got a couple of his men with him, but they’re outnumbered by whoever he’s meeting with,” Jae-wook reports as he tunes in with his binoculars. He smirks. “Whoever they are, they’re not happy that it took him a long time to get here.”
“Do you know what they’re saying, hyung?” Jong-min asks.
“How could I know? It’s not like we bugged the alley.”
“Bug?”
Jae-wook says nothing.
“A listening device, hyung,” Kwang-soo tells Jong-min. “Like the one that cops use.”
“Ah,” Jong-min nods. “But, Detective Ahn, if we can’t get near them, how is this going to help our search of Lee Soon-jae?”
“Because he might appear in one of the places Poet goes,” Jae-wook answers. “If he knows where he might be, he will eventually lead us to him.”
“But he told us he doesn’t know who he is.”
That time, Jong-min gets the glare. “He’s a criminal. You believe him?” Kwang-soo looks at Jong-min sympathetically. It’s been nearly three days since the six of them reunited. Yet, even with that much time, none of them really know what had made Jae-wook so sour and bossy. The latter, they guess he has the right over since he’s the oldest, but why did he always have to be so mean?
“Some of the guys in suits had just been sent out to check cars. Poet must have told them he’s been arrested last night,” Jae-wook informs the two. “We’re far away enough that they probably won’t even get here. But in case they did, get ready to cover up.”
True to his words, they watch as two pairs are directed – one towards the left and one towards their direction. A couple of others spread out in alleys to search just in case.
Like they did in the beginning, Kwang-soo holds his breath. He had only seen guns up close twice in his life (at least to memory): one with Yeon-seok and the other with their military client. He knows what usually happens when they appear. If he has to suffocate just to avoid the same outcome that M and the music producer had, he will endure it.
“The leader of the gang’s nagging at Poet,” Jae-wook reports. “Drug dealers usually get paranoid when one of their distributors gets caught. There’s always a good chance they got flipped into an informant.”
“They’re not going to kill him, right?” Jong-min asks.
Jae-wook shakes his head. “I don’t know. Probably not. A hoobae told me that Poet’s one of the top dealers out there. They’ve been trying to catch him for nearly two years now. The tip that they received last night was the break the drug task force needed to finally arrest him.”
Kwang-soo knows Jong-min is also thinking about their theory regarding Jae-wook. “Tip?” he tests.
“Yeah. Someone told them that Poet is at Club Neon.”
Jae-wook’s apathy doesn’t improve their suspicion any. Of course he would not acknowledge the slip he made. Admitting to that impulsive move would mean telling the group he’s unfit to lead, and if there’s one thing that hasn’t changed with Jae-wook, it’s that he knows what his age and status should afford.
“Why was he released?” Jong-min asks instead. “They have all the proof they needed to prove he’s guilty.”
Jae-wook shrugs. “I don’t know. Maybe he did become an informant.”
“Overnight?”
“You’d be surprised. Sometimes even some of the most loyal of these criminals cave in when you offer them a cozy prison sentence.” Then, a moment later he mutters, “Sometimes even a seemingly good guy can become an adversary, too – if they’re dumb enough.”
They jump when someone taps loudly on Jong-min’s window. Looking up, they see it’s a man wearing a suit.
He’s using a gun to tap on the window. “Hey. Open up,” the man demands.
“Hyung,” Jong-min says, barely breathing as he leans away from the shadow. “What do we do?”
“Yah, did you not hear me?” The man taps on the glass with the barrel of the weapon. “Open this!”
Jae-wook takes a deep breath. He slips the binoculars under his seat. “What else?” he says as the man threatens to shoot them. “We roll the window down.” The window hums as it lowers, revealing what must be faces drained of any color.
“You a cop?” the man asks.
“Aniyo.” Jae-wook leans over, his facial expression surprisingly serene and friendly. “We just pulled in; we live at the house right there. My wife asked me to run to the store and get something, but they’re closed. We’re just getting back home.”
The man observes the two closely for an extremely long and uncomfortable moment. Then, he chuckles. “You’re lying.” He tilts his head. “Get out of the car.”
“I’m sorry?”
“Either your lives end where you sit, or you get a fighting chance. You two – ” he gestures at them with the mouth of the gun, “get out of the car.”
Kwang-soo only realizes then how far he’s leaning back into his seat. He watches as Jae-wook and Jong-min step out in dread. His heart is beating so fast and so loudly that he thinks that it booms like festival percussions through the whole street.
He thinks about calling 112, to call for cops, but he’s frozen. If he moves, the men outside might realize that a third person is inside, and all their chances of survival would be gone.
But if he doesn’t move and his hyungs die on his watch...
He shouldn’t have left the Philippines. It was lonely and hot and friendless, but at least he’s safe. He’s safe, and Jae-wook and Jong-min are safe.
The commotion has called the attention of the party ahead. Not even a minute after, Jae-wook and Jong-min are surrounded by Poet’s men and the gang. “Hyungnim,” the man reports, “I think these two have been watching us.”
“Must be cops,” the leader of the gang says. He turns to Poet and chides, “So I was right: you did turn against us.”
“No, hyungnim! No! Please believe me,” Poet begs desperately. “I – I don’t know these men. I have never seen them!”
“You haven’t seen them.”
“No.”
The leader ponders about it a moment. Then, he turns to one of Poet’s men. “You tell me the truth, I don’t shoot you.” He nods at Jae-wook and Jong-min. “Have you guys really not seen them before?”
Poet’s people exchange glances. They know what will happen if they say anything contrary to what Poet has said: their boss dies, but they would be hunted down by the rest of their crew.
Still, despite knowing this, one of his men cautions another glance at the men in question. His eyes lock on Jong-min a while, and then he points at him. “Hyung,” he tells his boss quietly. “This man. He was there last night.”
Poet looks up at Jong-min, and this time recognition comes to his face. “The new buyer with the pretty girlfriend,” he mutters. He steps closer to Jong-min. “What are you doing here?”
“Uh...”
“Were you a cop all this time?”
“No.”
Poet scoffs. “I knew it. You were asking some weird questions last night.”
“So you have seen him before?” the leader of the gang asks.
The fear returns to Poet. “Yes,” he says, “but he was there as a buyer. I didn’t know he was a cop.”
“We’re not cops,” Jae-wook says.
The leader of the gang sighs. He nods to his men. “Look around, make sure no one else is with them,” he instructs. Once a couple leave, he looks at Poet. “You spineless weasel. I knew one day you’d do this.”
“No, hyungnim,” Poet begs. “Please – ”
“You know the boss doesn’t tolerate traitors in his business.” He clicks his tongue, as if only upset by an annoying but relatively insignificant loss. He draws out his gun from his holster. “Sadly, I still have use of you yet. You said this man has a girlfriend. If you take care of her for me by tomorrow afternoon, I’ll give you a running head start of three hours. If you don’t, you’ll be the third person they’d read in the papers tomorrow.”
“T-third?”
The leader hands him the gun. He nods at Jae-wook and Jong-min. “Make it nice and clean,” he says as he steps back.
Poet hesitates a moment. He looks at the gun a while, and for a second it seems that he will refuse.
But then, the same predatory glint Kwangsoo’s seen in killers’ eyes before flashes brightly in Poet’s eyes. He raises the gun towards Jong-min.
Kwang-soo’s head spins. Min-young tomorrow, Jae-wook and Jong-min tonight. If he gets out, he can still warn Min-young and tell her to leave Korea as soon as possible. Yeon-seok can take her to safety.
But his hyungs – there’s nothing he can do for them. He will witness their murders, and there’s absolutely nothing he can do.
When his head bows a little, closing his eyes in extreme regret, one of the leader’s goons notices him. “Jamkamanyo,” he says, halting everything. He narrows his eyes. When Kwang-soo lifts his head and eyes up, he finds the man staring straight at him. “There’s another man in the car.”
All the spinning stops, and so does every motion within him. He watches in helpless dread as Jae-wook and Jong-min, who he now just noticed was blocking everyone’s view of his window, are pulled away to give the leader a good look of the silhouette in the car.
The leader frowns at him. Then, a long moment later, he chuckles. “Fourth,” he corrects himself, amused.
“Get out of the car,” one of his men instructs Kwang-soo. Kwang-soo flinches when the man pounds his fist against the window. “Now!”
The leader holds up a hand to the man. “Maybe he’d rather be found later at the bottom of the river. We can make that happen.” He hisses as he pretends to think. “That might take decades, though. They don’t really find anyone unless they know specifically where to look.”
Kwang-soo forces himself to take a deep breath. He’s shaking terribly, and his knees don’t feel like they’re functional anymore. But he has to get out. He can’t just let his colleagues – his only family – die because of him.
If they’re to die tonight, at least they should die together.
With another breath, he pulls on the door handle and, as composedly as he can manage, he steps out.
The night is colder outside the car, but the hostility from Poet, his men, and the others burn hot against him. He looks at Jae-wook and Jong-min, and in their eyes, above all other emotions, he sees the realization that this is it for them.
Which is why he fails to notice the look of surprise in the gang leader’s face. The leader bows to him. “Hyungnim!” he greets. “I’m sorry, hyungnim. I didn’t know it was you!”
Like the rest of the others, Kwang-soo stares on, confused. He thinks for a moment that it’s just a cruel joke. The leader would rise and kill them himself.
However, all the leader does is stand back up and smile at him as if to curry favor. He then notices that the others with him aren’t moving. With a glare, he tells them, “Do you all want to die? Show our hyungnim some respect! Greet him!”
With this command, the other men bow. Even Poet, who looks suspicious and resentful, does the same.
The leader approaches Kwang-soo’s side, suddenly docile and friendly. “You don’t remember me, hyungnim? It’s Chan-seok. We’ve had drinks a couple of times before,” he says. When Kwang-soo only stares at him blankly, he chuckles awkwardly. “Of course it’s been years. What brought you by? Are you checking to see if we’re handling the business well?”
Kwang-soo blinks. He looks around. All the scorching fire from earlier has turned into a warming flame.
He looks at Jae-wook and Jong-min. All he sees now is confusion. What case did we just actually agree to work? he wonders as he thinks of the two strangers who claim to know him and this shocking immunity to death that he finds wherever he goes.

Thoughts on Seara Targaryen?
I've mentioned this briefly here but let me add a few more of my thoughts.
I feel like Saera is treated like some faultless feminist icon in the fandom (how surprising lmao) but let's be absolutely real here: she was a spoilt, headstrong princess who was never going to cave into societal/parental pressure. I’m personally not a fan at all but I want to list a few things about her personality and upbringing that may be of some use in understanding her better. Forgive my rambling in advance!
Princess Saera, three years younger, was a trial from the very start; tempestuous, demanding, disobedient. The first word she spoke was no, and she said it often and loudly. She refused to be weaned until past the age of four. Even as she ran about the castle, talking more than her siblings Vaegon and Daella combined, she wanted her mother’s milk, and raged and screamed whenever the queen dismissed another wetnurse. “Seven save us,” Alysanne whispered to the king one night, “when I look at her I see Aerea.”
Not to forget, George loves hitting characters where it hurts and that's through their children. And George went in particularly hard with Jaehaerys and Alysanne's children. I absolutely adore the older bunch, Aemon, Baelon, Alyssa... but the younger bunch didn’t exactly speak to me the same way. I suppose with so many children, it was natural to have a few bad eggs, and Saera was one of them. Jaehaerys spoilt her as child and she grew up to be very bright but also had a cruel streak too.
... and long before she was half-grown, Saera had learned the art of getting anything she wanted from her father: a kitten, a hound, a pony, a hawk, a horse (Jaehaerys did draw a firm line at the elephant). Queen Alysanne was far less gullible, however, and Septon Barth tells us that Saera’s sisters all misliked her to various degrees.
The border between innocent pranks, wanton mischief, and acts of malice is not always discerned by one so young, but there can be no doubt that the princess crossed it freely.
Septon Barth also commented on Saera’s disposition, and her hunger for the attention her older siblings received:
“She is the king’s daughter, and well aware of it. Servants see to her every need, though not always as quickly as she might like... If she were the king’s firstborn, or better still his only child, she would be well content. Instead she finds herself the ninthborn, with six living siblings who are older than her and even more adored.”
Saera pranked her sister Daella with cats and bees, dyed the KG cloaks pink, and would show up drunk to the sept for prayers. And since Saera had every whim granted to her, it's natural that she would want more from the world and succeeded in carving out her own kingdom across the Narrow Sea. I definitely don't think she would have been content with living a normal life in Westeros, married to some lord and running his house.
“She wants what she wants and she wants it now,” Grand Maester Elysar wrote of the princess in 69 AC, when she was only two. “Seven save us all when she is older. The Dragonkeepers had best lock up the dragons.” He had no notion how prophetic those words would be.
At fourteen, she told the king she meant to marry the Prince of Dorne, or perhaps the King Beyond the Wall, so she could be a queen “like Mother.”
By fifteen, Saera had other ideas however.
Why dream of distant monarchs when she could have as many squires, knights, and likely lords as she desired? Dozens danced attendance on her, but three soon emerged as favorites. Jonah Mooton was the heir to Maidenpool, Red Roy Connington was the fifteen-year-old Lord of Griffin’s Roost, and Braxton Beesbury, called Stinger, was a nineteen-year-old knight, the finest lance in the Reach...
And initially it was Queen Alysanne who voiced her dismay regarding Saera’s behaviour with her newly acquired suitors. “Saera is clever, but not wise” and she also criticised her choice of female companions as well as Beesbury/Stinger who was rumoured to have sired a bastard. However Jaehaerys brushed it off unconcerned that she would get up to any mischief at court with so many watching eyes. Unfortunately, he was wrong.
Then came the incident at the Blue Pearl with Tom Turnip, and her three favourite lordlings (including Stinger who later fought Jaehaerys in his trial by combat) which made matters worse. I highly doubt any other noble lord would have been ok with his daughter cavorting with household knights in a brothel- least of all a KING. When questioned about her actions, Saera really didn’t do herself any favours:
I could marry all three of them, why not? Why should I have just one husband? The Conqueror had two wives, and Maegor had six or eight.” She had gone too far. Jaehaerys rose to his feet and descended from the Iron Throne, his face a mask of rage. “You would compare yourself to Maegor? Is that who you aspire to be?”
After the horrors Jaehaerys and his siblings had endured under Maegor, it’s no wonder he was so shaken by her blase attitude. And again, Alysanne was able to soften his anger and reconcile him to forgive Saera, but she ran away that very night and tried to steal a dragon which sealed her fate.
Alysanne wept when she heard, for she knew her cause was hopeless. Jaehaerys was hard as stone. “Saera with a dragon,” was all he had to say. “Would she have taken Balerion as well, I wonder?”
One of my favourite aspects of this whole saga was Jaehaerys fighting Stinger for her honour, "This old man," just takes me out every single time. Forty-nine year old Jae, taking out nineteen year old Beesbury just reminds me too much of Daemon vs Aemond - WHY ARE FORTY-NINE YEAR OLD TARG MEN SO BADASS?
I also understand that Saera was a plot device to add filial conflict to Jaehaerys’ reign, after all a successful king doesn’t always make a successful father. Jaehaerys was the quintessential medieval monarch with a kingdom to run and keep in order after a very volatile period and Saera was a royal princess and expected to uphold those standards. As Grand Maester Elysar put it, “He was better with roads than with daughters.” I think Jaehaerys had his flaws for sure, but again, this is asoiaf and I really don’t understand how people expect paternal relationships to be as open and affectionate as they are today- seriously look at how fatherhood has evolved in the last fifty years alone and tell me a medieval king would have been braiding his daughter’s hair and having heart-to-hearts with her. He could have done more to understand her, but then we wouldn’t have this embittered storyline and everything would be hunky-dory. That’s not how GRRM works unfortunately.
I am certain Jaehaerys had loved her as a daughter, and her actions had caused him pain which had hardened his heart at the time. But it is also apparent later on that Jaehaerys was hit hard by this event and also mistook Alic*nt for Saera on his sickbed. I also feel heartbroken for Alysanne who lost so many of her children and felt Saera's loss very acutely too. She also became withdrawn and was clearly shaken by all the losses she had endured.
The years had taken their toll on him, and those who knew him well said that he was never the same after his daughter Saera had disgraced and then abandoned him. He had grown thinner, almost gaunt, and there was more grey than gold in his beard now, and in his hair.
The Old King sometimes mistook her for one of his daughters, calling her by their names; near the end, he grew certain she was his daughter Saera, returned to him from beyond the narrow sea.
Anyway I am glad Saera got to set up her own empire and lifestyle (Hot Girl Saera ™), she is arguably the first Targaryen entrepreneur of sorts too. She is most certainly not the feminist kween this fandom treats her as IMO, raise ya standards! Ultimately I wouldn't say I'm a fan mainly because her character didn’t appeal to me, particularly when I read Fire and Blood. Besides, Saera’s domain lies outside my circle of interest and I'm more concerned with what happens to subsequent characters in Westeros.
Hope that answered your question!

The Irreplaceable Charlie Weasley: Pt. 2, Ch. 9
PART 2: THE YEAR OF MISCHIEF AND SNEAKING AROUND Chapter 9 - The Bittersweet Goodbye
Nova
I couldn't believe that another year at Hogwarts has come to an end. Oh, listen to me, sounding like Dumbledore! We had only a few more days before Hogwarts Express was going to take us back home.
Unlike last year, when we could just do whatever we wanted the last couple of days, in Penny's opinion that was packing, we had 2 things to do this year.
First, was going down to the Quidditch Pitch and cheer for Charlie as he got a tryout invitation the week before exams started!
Apparently, the Gryffindor Charlie spoke to at the beginning of the school year was right about their Captain not picking Charlie just because of his little brother who cost them the Quidditch House Cup! The team was fed up with the Captain picking favorites as he blamed the rest of them for losing, so they kicked him off the Team with McGonagall's approval. The Gryffindor Chaser that thought Charlie was better than the ex-captain's younger brother invited him to try out for Seeker again and it was all happening in a few days! Bill, Penny, Tulip, Tonks, Jae, and I decided to go and watch his tryouts and give him a confidence boost from the stands.
The other thing the Second Years had to do was pick their Elective Classes for our Third Year. We had to choose at least two and we could pick between Muggle Studies, Divination, Arithmancy, Care of Magical Creatures, and Study of Ancient Runes.
The one subject I was sure to choose was Care of Magical Creatures but I was rather indecisive about the other one. Tulip decided to go for Ancient Runes and Divination. Tonks picked Divination as she thought it could be fun making up predictions with Tulip and she chose Care of Magical Creatures as well. Penny chose Arithmancy and Muggle Studies as she said that her dad would be proud if she would learn about his 'culture' as well.
It looked like I wasn't the only one who struggled to pick their second subject as Charlie was first debating between Ancient Runes and Muggle Studies. But the very next day at breakfast announced that he was thinking about Divination instead.
As I couldn't decide for several days, I decided to owl Bill and ask him for advice. He was more than happy to meet me in the Great Hall and he dragged Charlie along as he changed his mind to Muggle Studies again.
“I picked Ancient Runes, but as I want to become a Curse Breaker that was an obvious choice.” I nodded as my dad, who was a Curse Breaker, took Ancient Runes as well.
“I wanted to stay far away from Divination and Arithmancy but later found out that both could help with my career too.” He rubbed his chin.
“I was also thinking about taking Muggle Studies as my dad would just love that.” He chuckled to himself, remembering how much his dad is interested in anything Muggle related.” In the end, I decided to take them all as I was hoping I could learn as much as possible since you never know what I could encounter during my career.”
“And you have time for all the subjects?” That seemed like a lot of work.
“It's...manageable.” Bill said slowly and I had a feeling he had a trick up his sleeve for attending all the subjects.
“So, Ancient Runes it is.” Charlie said, obviously not as ambitious as his brother. He just wanted the subject that would help him become a Dragonologist and that was Care of Magical Creatures.
“Charlie, really think this through.” Bill frowned. “You are stuck with the subjects you pick until the end.”
Charlie rolled his eyes. “And we are back to square one.” I chuckled.
“I never thought this was going to be so hard. But I think I wouldn't be good at Divination or Arithmancy so it's either Muggle Studies or Ancient Runes.” I scratched the top of my head.
“Even though, neither would come in useful if I become a Magizoologist.” I continued. Charlie beamed at my career choice as if he had just heard it for the first time and was extremely proud of it.
“Perhaps, Ancient Runes wouldn't be so bad for you. You might need to rescue a creature from a cave or come upon a cursed cage or something like that.” Bill thought out loud.
“Ancient Runes it is!” Said Charlie again.
“We don't have to take the same subject, you know.” I chuckled.
“C'mon, Charlie! Don't you want to take Muggle Studies?” Bill mocked him and ruffled his hair.
“And have dad send me letters twice per week asking for me to describe in excruciating details what I have learned? Are you mental!” Charlie frowned at him.
We debated Charlie's subject for another hour before he decided to take Divination. The next morning I sat next to him at breakfast and pulled out my Elective Subjects form. I wrote down Care of Magical Creatures and Ancient Runes. I peaked at Charlie's paper and he had written the same.
“Didn't you decide on Divination?” I asked, smiling.
“I changed my mind.” He answered sleepily. I couldn't help but giggle.
The next morning, the group and I went to the Quidditch Pitch to watch Charlie become the next Gryffindor Seeker. There wasn't a doubt in my mind that he wasn't going to get the position.
Besides us, there were quite a few Gryffindors on the stands. Apparently, the Team wasn't the only one who wanted to change their Seeker. To mine and Bill's surprise, Professor McGonagall came to the tryouts as well.
She greeted us with a smile and we sat down next to her.
“A big Quidditch fan, Professor?” Bill grinned.
“I would rather not be reminded of this year's season, Mr. Weasley.” She pursed her lips. “I spoke to Madam Hooch as soon as I found out that your brother was going to try out as our new Seeker. She told me that he is on top of her class and that, without being biased, of course, said that with him on the Team, we might get a chance to win the House Cup next year.” She tried hiding her excitement but at that moment I think she forgot she was talking to her students.
The Gryffindor Quidditch Team flew to the pitch and opened the giant chest in which all the Quidditch balls were held. They first wanted to see Charlie fly around, then he had to do a couple of really fast laps and some weaving which of course was no problem for him. Then the Captain asked him if he has any tricks up his sleeve and he flew high in the air and performed the Wronski Feint.
I only knew about the move because Charlie told me about it and showed it to me proudly last Summer at the Burrow.
I chuckled as I saw that he left the Gryffindor Captain with an open mouth as it looked like he was about to crash but flew up at just the right time. We all cheered, including McGonagall, who winked at Bill.
After performing a few more tricks and catching the Snitch twice the Captain has decided and Charlie officially became part of the Gryffindor Quidditch Team!
We waited for him in front of the Gryffindor tent in order for him to change.
He was startled by Professor McGonagall, who walked to him as soon as he came out, shook his hand, and said something that sounded like: “Congratulations, Mr. Weasley.” She then said goodbye to us and walked towards the school.
We waited a bit not to look like complete animals and then ran to Charlie shouting and cheering.
“Nice job, mate!” Jae said to him.
“Mum is going to cry when we tell her.” Bill grinned and ruffled his hair.
“I knew that old captain was a fraud!” I said as I hugged him.
It was finally time to board the train and head back home. Bill decided to be in a compartment with his friends this year so Jae could join us. We couldn't stop laughing when Tonks told us her plans for the Summer and we realized that they were just like last year's: not giving her parents a rest for naming her Nymphadora.
Tulip said that she was going to be a 'good girl' and work in her mum's shop again as she wanted to get as much money as she could because next year, we were allowed to go to Hogsmeade. Jae, Tulip, and Tonks then started debating what they would get at Zonko's Joke shop and how they could use each thing to prank Filch and Snape.
Charlie and I listened to them for a while, then we started to daydream about Care of Magical Creatures. We couldn't believe that we were going to finally be able to take the subject and finally see who will buy Butterbeer to whom as we will get to explore the Creature's Reserve at Hogwarts and see who got more creatures right.
Then we turned to Penny, reading a book until now, as we asked her about her plans for the Summer, and she told us that unlike last year's Muggle Vacation, they were going to visit some old family friends of her mum's. She couldn't decide who was more against it her or her dad as the Muggle Beach adventure was apparently an annual thing and they were going to break it this year for the first time.
Penny and Tonks then made a bet on who was going to be better at predicting as Penny chose Arithmancy which was all about predicting the future with numbers and Tonks took Divination. Charlie and I decided it would be a shame if we didn't get in on the bet. I bet that Penny was going to be better because she looked rather suspicious as to why she agreed so quickly to make a bet with Tonks. Charlie bet that Divination was Tonks' secret talent just like Herbology. Whoever wins the bet, gets free Butterbeer from the other person, of course.
All of our bets and most plans for our free time in our Third Year revolved around Hogsmeade and Butterbeer as we couldn't wait to explore the little village, especially in Winter as we heard it was so beautiful when covered in a fresh sheet of snow.
The train ride was over as quickly as it began. I couldn't believe how much time Charlie and I spent daydreaming. As we were waiting for the crowd in the corridor to get thinner Charlie asked me if I was coming to the Burrow this year as well. As much as I wanted to come and spend time with him and his family again, I had to decline.
Last week before the exams ended, my mum sent me a letter saying that both her and dad were getting more time off this year and that we would get to spend a proper vacation together as a family. She also told me that much to my disappointment we were going to America to spend some time with our pompous relatives. A few days after my mum sent me the letter I also got one from my aunt from Scotland, inviting me to stay with her as her Abraxan was expecting babies again.
It was cute seeing Charlie trying to hide that he wasn't sad at all that he won't be able to see me during the Summer. Before leaving the train I hugged him and whispered that I would try to convince my parents to come to the Burrow for a visit and I was happy to see that that cheered him up a bit.
We were all making our way through the crowd when I spotted my mum standing next to Mr. Weasley, I mean Arthur. I ran into her arms and felt her fingers brushing my hair immediately. She also gave a hug to Charlie and for that, his cheeks turned pink.
He blushed even more when my mum told us that she and Arthur were thinking of our families getting together for a picnic this Summer as my dad would be delighted to see his old friend again, now that he'll be able to get some time off work.
I also had the opportunity to introduce her to Penny and Tonks, as she already met Tulip when we visited her mum's coffee shop, and as I watched them converse, I couldn't decide who was more excited to meet who. Tonks was asking her a bunch of questions about being an Auror and Penny wanted to know if Aurors ever need to use their knowledge of Potions and where.
On our way home, she told me that they were exactly as I described them to her and that before they introduced themselves to her, she knew exactly which was which. My mum was quite proud of it, while I chuckled as I couldn't help to think that their hair was what gave them away.

Together You Were Forever.
Tumblr media
Thank you Painting Anon 🎨 for this 💚
“Hey baby, I’m going to be late tonight. I have some stuff at work that I have to finish up tonight because it’s due tomorrow. I love you.”
You felt like the world was caving in on you right now. You didn’t know what to do or even think. Everything was just a blur. Your heart was aching and tears were burning your eyes.
A friend of yours had you called you no more than five minutes ago letting you know that your boyfriend Jaehyun, was at a café with a girl she’s never seen. And said girl was a little too touchy with him, her hand resting on his forearm.
Your friend even sent you a picture just that you would believe her. And you did. You didn’t want too but Jaehyun has been acting kind of weird lately. Always so secretive and not as focused on you anymore.
He was never like this, nothing seemed normal between you guys anymore. So as much as you hated to give into gossip and silly things like your three year boyfriend having female friends, it was hard not to.
Maybe half hour after the phone call, the door to your shared apartment opened and closed. The soft steps of boyfriend coming down the hall echoed throughout the apartment and his voice carried through the walls.
“Baby, I’m home.”
You said nothing and just waited quietly on the couch. Not sure yet on what you wanted to do. You didn’t want to just jump the gun and start yelling, you wanted to give him a chance to defend himself, to maybe tell you what was really going on.
“Hey, I almost thought you weren’t home. You didn’t hear me?” He asked, settling down his bag and walking over to where you sat. He smiled down at you and went in for a kiss but you moved your face and his lips met your cheek.
“You okay?” He wondered taking a seat next to you. Not taking notice of the state you were in, hurt.
“Where were you?” You calmly asked, looking at him. Searching for anything that implied he was doing something he shouldn’t have.
Jaehyun raised his eyebrow at you, “I called you and told you I was going to be running late because of work.” He answered reaching over for your hand. He was taken aback when you pulled your hand away.
“Jae, just tell me the truth, are you not happy with me anymore?” You sighed sitting up and standing away from him.
If he didn’t look offended before, he did now, “What are you talking about? Of course I’m happy with you. Why would you even ask something as stupid as that?” He questioned sounding a little mad.
Maybe you were just being ridiculous but the hurt was taking over all your sense that you didn’t even think about the next words that came out of your mouth.
“Then why are you cheating on me?” You shouted, the tears you had held back breaking free and falling down your cheeks.
That isn’t what he had expected to hear, not now or ever. He didn’t even want to begin to believe that such grotesque words could form in your vocabulary.
But they did. And not only did you say them, you also yelled them at him. Your boyfriend, the love of your life and you his, the one person that would take a bullet for you. You yelled them at him.
“Do you even hear yourself right now (Y/N)? Are you comprehending the words you just yelled at me? Me, your fucking boyfriend?!” He suddenly raised his voice at you.
Now it was your turn to be taken aback because he rarely ever raises his voice at you. In the three years you’ve been together, the times he’s raised his voice, you can count on one hand.
“You told me you were going to be late because of work. And then suddenly you’re at some café with some random girl, who had her hands all over you. And I’m supposed to sit here and think you aren’t cheating on me?” You cried.
“And not only that but you’ve been acting weird for the past month Jae. You’ve been so secretive and distant from me. You haven’t noticed that things have been awkward between us?” You added letting more tears fall.
Jaehyun sighed deeply and walked over to you. You were about to back away and get out of his reach but he cupped your face and brought you to him.
“You’re such an idiot, did you know that? But my god, you are so lucky that I love you more than anything on this earth you dumbass.” He rested his forehead on yours, wiping away the tears that stained your cheeks.
He chuckled at the confused expression on your face, “I don’t know who told you about today but they completely ruined the surprise I had. That girl is an old friend of mine. She had her hands on me for a second when I asked for help on what kind of ring I should get for you.”
“What?” You whispered, not understanding anything that was going on right now.
“We still have some stuff we need to work on, as a couple and individually but I want this to be forever. I want your cute ass to be my forever. And the best way to do that right now was by getting you a promise ring.” He beamed with excitement as he explained himself.
You felt like a complete moron for not trusting your gut and for believing that Jaehyun could ever do something as stupid like cheat on you.
Now more than ever did you want to hide under a rock and stay there forever, “I don’t know what to say. I’m so sorry.” You apologized pulling away from his hold but he wouldn’t let you.
Instead of saying anything else, he kissed you. It didn’t take you long to respond to his lips on yours. He backed you up into the closest wall and held your face still. Your hands got tangled in his hair and pulled at it.
Jaehyun moved his hands from your face and brought them down to your butt, giving it a good squeeze letting you know he wanted you to jump. Your legs wrapped around his hips and he pulled away from the kiss.
“I don’t want you to ever think that I could ever hurt you, especially not by doing something as dumb as cheating you (Y/N). I have never felt more at home than I do with you at my side. There is no one else for me in this world.” He softly assured you, taking you to your shared room.
Once you were in the room, he gently placed you on the bed. You didn’t want to look up at him yet because you still felt bad that you thought the worst of him.
He chuckled at your lack of eye contact and simply undressed himself without saying a word. First to come off was his shirt. Then you heard the sound of his zipper being pulled down.
Your face was on fire as you looked at the floor where all his clothes laid now. He took your hands in his and pulled you up so you were standing.
Still not looking at him, he lifted your chin so your eyes could meet his. He had the biggest smile, almost a smirk on his face. He placed your hands on his chest and whispered in your ear.
“Either you undress yourself or I do it baby.”
“Undress me Jaehyun.” You nudged his face to meet yours and then you kissed him. His hands went to your shirt and pulled it over your head. His lips met your cheek and then down to your neck, his fingers caressing your arms.
Goosebumps rising like rapid fire wherever his touch lingered too long. They went down your sides, feeling every inch of your skin till they reached the hem of your shorts. He slowly pulled them down to your ankles and then your panties.
Standing naked in front of each other like that made you want to hide away from his gaze. Your arms went to cover yourself but he stopped you and laid you on the bed instead.
“Don’t hide yourself from me. You are the most beautiful person I have ever seen and that includes me.” He joked but praised at the same time. You blushed and hit his shoulder.
You wrapped your hands around his shoulders and pulled him down so your lips could meet again.
“I. Love. You. So. Much.” Jaehyun emphasized every word with every deep thrust he gave you, hitting your sweet spot every time.
Everything right now felt like magic.
The way your bodies moved in sync. The way your breathing was becoming heavy together and nails digging into skin out of pure pleasure. The thin layer of sweat covering your naked bodies.
You were his. He was yours. Together you were forever.

genre: High School!AU, Young Love!AU, pretty much all Angst this one is
warning(s): None
word count: 2,7k
synopsis: There are many paths in life, but the longest of all is the path to the heart. In your eyes, what does it truly mean… to love?…
chapter directory
Tumblr media
In the entire four years of your friendship, you and Sungjin have only had one meaningful fight that led to eventual disaster. It was right after winter break of junior year at the high school’s annual Winter Formal event. To be honest, you can’t remember the true details since the entire night was merely a blur of fake snowflakes and mediocre music—all except it was the first time you’ve ever seen Sungjin lose his temper.
From what you can remember, you had been dancing with Jae—both of you agreed to remain friends after your breakup—when Nayeon and her entourage ended up spilling their cups of punch on your mother’s old homecoming gown, a dress that her own mother had given to her in the past. It was an accident, until Nayeon laughed and said you could pass for a tramp on the side of the road. You blacked out with rage after that, so the rest is a little fuzzy, but the last thing you remember is Sungjin dragging you outside the party and angrily chastising you for causing a scene—it's also important to note that this was where you first learned the two were dating. Anyway, still blinded by your temper, you ended up saying some pretty nasty things about not only the cheerleader, but your friend as well. And he, the same to you.
Long story short, the two of you avoided each other like the plague for almost a month. However, you were the one who caved first and waited almost an hour on his doorstep to apologize to him in tears. It’s something neither of you have talked about since then, being mutually agreed that it’s definitely not one of the best moments in your friendships, nor have you really thought about it much. Until now.
After your screw-up, you tried to call Sungjin the next day as well as the day after. You tried to call once in the morning, twice in the evening and once before bed—knowing that he’s probably up late studying or working on some last minute college stuff; Sungjin’s always been an overachiever like that. You also tried to catch him at school, but no matter how early you arrive to his classrooms or how late you stand outside the building, his face never comes into view. It’s as if he has vanished from your life with as little as no trace to find him.
It’s ironic… cause you miss him more than ever.
You watch the soccer team battle against one another, likely practicing for an upcoming game. The sight of a dozen students in bright, neon uniforms chasing after a black and white ball was boring, but mind-numbing. Not enough to completely distract your brain from the ache in your chest, but enough to at least calm your thoughts. Your eyes twitch when you spy one of your own friends, Jihyo deliver a kick that lands the ball in the opposite goal. Shouts and cheers emerge across the field—you meant to call out your own praise, but you couldn’t find the voice. You couldn’t find a lot of things lately.
“Since when do you watch soccer?” Your gaze snaps to the side at the familiar demand of your best friend. Wonpil carefully climbs his way down the bleachers to where you’re currently sat, lowering next to you with a sigh of exhaustion, “I’ve been looking for you everywhere.”
You shrug still not meeting the newcomer’s eyes, “I needed some air.”
“Long day?”
“I guess.” Wonpil huffs at your reply, but makes no attempt to scold you for your indifference. Instead, he also turns his attention to the active players, eyes darting back and forth as the ball rolls about the field. You find yourself suffocating in the awkward silence—completely aware that Wonpil wanted to say something more—and turn to face the boy with a glare. He catches your gaze with an expression of surprise.
“What?”
“If you want to say something, Pil, then just say it.”
His face goes blank. “It’s not my place to say anything, noona.”
“You say that every time-” You chuckle, the sound laced with sarcasm. “-can never have an opinion, can you?” Once the words leave your lips, guilt immediately spreads through your body. Your eyes flutter shut with another sigh, “Sorry… that wasn’t fair.”
Wonpil shrugs, “I’ll let it slide. I know you’re having a hard time, right now.”
“I just don’t know what to do, Pil.” You confess, carding a hand through your wind-blown hair. “He won’t talk to me, much less see me.”
“You hurt him,” Wonpil says. “Can you blame him?”
“Of course not. I just don’t know how to fix it.” You bury your face in your hands, “I mean… what if he never forgives me?”
“You’re so blind, noona. Both you and Sungjin.”
“What?”
“After all these years and you still haven’t noticed,” He shakes his head with an impatient sigh.
Your eyebrows furrow, “Haven’t noticed what? What are you talking about, Pil?”
“I’m talking about the fact that Sungjin is in love with you,” Wonpil answers, “and you’re obviously in love with him.”
The first feeling that enters your chest is the incredulity that your best friend would even consider saying something like that, but when you open your mouth to retort and defend, you find your own throat dry with speechlessness. It’s not like you’ve ever not thought about what it would be like to date Sungjin—hell, every person has thought about what it would be like to be romantically involved with their best friend at least once in their life—but you’d never let it go farther than that… right?
You think back to the most golden of moments you’ve shared with the boy, analyzing each one in closed-detailed context: He listens when no one else will. He accepts all of you, the worst of your flaws included. He always has your back even in the most inopportune of situations… But aren’t these all things that best friends do for each other—with some extra benefits in between? Like the skinship and nicknames… or the fact that your heart beats a million times faster whenever you hear his voice… or maybe that you never feel truly complete until he’s around...
Your stomach aches at the realization—because you know better than to lie to yourself and certainly not your own heart.
“...Why did he never say anything?” You murmur finally, already physically and psychologically exhausted from the thoughts bouncing through your mind. With tears welling in your eyes, you meet the gaze of your other best friend. “I mean… after Jae and I broke up, I thought he would at least-”
“-He didn’t want to hurt you anymore than you already were, noona.” Wonpil moves a hand to your knee, sympathetically squeezing the flesh. “That’s why him and Nayeon started dating… so he could get over you…”
“But I just-I still don’t understand… Why stay away all those months?”
Wonpil sighs, “He was afraid that he would ruin what little time you have left together before graduation—so I told him he needed to figure out what he really wanted before it was too late.”
“You…?” You whisper, “All those times you tried to get me to talk to him… so he could-”
“-so he could see how much he needs you, or at least, you could realize.” He chuckles sarcastically, “Like I said though, the both of you are just so freaking blind.”
You shake your head, still drowning in disbelief, “...What do I do?”
“That depends… Do you love him?”
“I-I… I think so.”
“No, noona.” Wonpil’s gaze is stern, almost as if he were scolding a small child. “Do you love him?” You shiver beneath the intensity, but gradually relax as more and more intrusive thoughts settle themselves within your mind. Soon only one remained:
“I do.”
Wonpil smiles, “Do you want to be with him?”
A smile of your own forms for the first time in the past few days. “Yes, I do.”
“Then go.”
“What?”
“Honestly, noona-” Your companion delivers a hefty shove to your shoulder and points back toward the school, “-you’re killing me here! Go get your man!”
Your eyes widen, “Right now? But he won’t talk to me-”
“-Just go!” A surprised gasp escapes your lips when you realize your and Pil’s conversation had attracted the audience of the soccer players. You almost laugh at their invested expressions, but decide not to test just how far their and your best friend’s patience goes. Instead you take off across the field and back toward the building with your heartbeat pounding in your ears.
You can only hope Sungjin will be willing to listen one final time.
Tumblr media
“I just can’t believe Mr. Nichkhun won’t allow me to write a song in place of a story for our project.” Wonpil explains as the two of you watch Kang Younghyun shove his way through a bunch of giggling sophomore girls. He continues to sail his way through the crowded hallway, passing the two of you without so much as a second glance. You hold back a laugh as Wonpil visibly shivers and continue to pilfer through your locker even as he drags on about the teachers of the school are limiting student expression.
“Don’t give up just yet, Pil,” You say, switching out your trigonometry materials for your sociology ones. “If you prove to Mr. Nichkhun that you really want to do that, I’m sure he’ll change his mind.”
“I can’t help it.” Your companion sighs, “I really don’t want to have to write a fairy tale.”
“Then why on earth did you take creative writing?”
“It seemed like an easy A at the time.”
You shrug while rearranging your art supplies, “That’s why you shouldn’t always go for the easy way out.”
“What’s that supposed to mean?”
Your laugh at the boy’s defensive tone, but the sound gradually dwindles when you peer past his shoulder. Barely a couple feet ahead was Sungjin, deep in conversation with some other students you recognized from the student body, and at his side was none other than Nayeon, the head cheerleader herself.
Wonpil, startled by your sudden mood change, looks over his own shoulder. His features soften as he observes the sight as well, turning back to you with a sympathetic expression. You avoid his likely apologetic eyes and continue to search for a pencil, even though you already have two tucked away in your notebook.
“You know-” He pauses for a moment as if arranging his words, but quickly resumes, “-The dance was weeks ago, noona… You should go talk to him.”
“And say what? I think Nayeon’s the most self-centered, dramatic, privileged brat that I ever met and have no idea what he sees in her?” You slam your locker door with a huff before turning to face your companion, your tone a bit more softer than before. “I can’t talk to him, Pil. Not after everything we said to each other.”
“I’m sure Sungjin is missing you just as much as you miss him, and if you just tell him how you feel-”
“-He could care less about how I think they’re incompatible. He made that very clear.”
“Are you sure that’s the real reason why you don’t think they should be together?” You freeze at Wonpil’s question, nearly sending your books crashing to the floor. After taking a moment to compose yourself, you glance back—unaware of the panic in your eyes.
You shake your head, “What other reason would there be?”
He stares back, his expression completely blank. “I don’t know. Just wondering.”
You take his statement for what it is, feeling relief when Jae appears from somewhere amongst the crowds. You bid your best friend a final farewell before slipping your arm through your other friend’s and dragging him down the corridor toward your next class. When you pass Sungjin, you make sure to laugh a little louder at Jae’s joke.
—As if it would distract you from the slight ache radiating from your chest.
Tumblr media
You managed to track Sungjin down in the hallway, having just caught him leaving a National Honor Society meeting in the library—memorizing his after school activities schedule does have an ounce of worth. Upon your arrival, the boy obviously notices your presence and attempts to duck behind his other club members in order to escape.
“Wait, please! Sungjin!” Dashing around the group of students, you stop Sungjin just as he reaches the threshold of the front doors. Once again, the boy tries to maneuver around you to slip out the exit, but you block the doorway before he can pass. “Will you please just talk to me?”
“Move, (Y/N). Please.”
“Not until we talk.” He moves to push past you again, and this time you go for his wrist. “Sungjin, please...”
At your whine, Sunjin stills. A brief moment of silence encompasses the atmosphere before it’s interrupted by his murmur, “What, (Y/N)?”
“About the other night,” You begin, “I’m so, so sorry-”
“-You’re sorry? That’s what you came to say?”
You frantically shake your head, “Well n-no, but I needed you to know that.”
Sungjin stares at you for a moment, his eyes filled with something that you couldn’t read. His gaze sends tremors to your knees, but you stand your ground, your conversation with Wonpil echoing in your head like a motivational symphony. However, anxiety floods your system as an expression of frustration emerges over the boy’s face. His sigh of exhaustion sends more shivers through your body.
Sungjin’s head rocks back and forth, “I can’t keep doing this with you.”
“What do you mean?”
“This.” He says softly, “I’m always there for you, (Y/N), whenever you need me.” His eyes finally lift from the floor to meet your gaze and you find your heart shattering at the absolute pain present within the chocolate irises, “but the one time I need you, you’re not there.”
His statement has tears welling beneath your lids, guilt and dread blossoming in your chest like a poisonous flower. You step closer to your companion, moving your hands to his elbows. He continues to hold your eyes even as salty droplets begin to spill from his own.
“I know I messed up-” Your voice cracks. You take a moment to compose yourself, to stop the tears from escaping, before continuing, “-but if you just let me explain and let me fix this...”
“Enough damage has already been done, (Y/N).” Sungjin pulls away from your grip, leaving your arms to helplessly fall to your sides. You can’t bear to watch as he heads toward the door, instead keeping your eyes on the linoleum floors. You don’t bother to hold back the tears this time, allowing them to flow down your cheeks like rivers of fire. However in the very corner of your vision, you notice his figure pause just beyond the door. For a moment, you had hope—until his cracked comment met your ears:
“Some things are just best left broken..” He smiles sadly, “I hope you find whatever it is you want, sweetheart.” You watch Sungjin exit the school, his silhouette fading with each step he takes into the blinding sunlight—and you’re left with nothing but another round of fresh tears and a heart broken to pieces.
“(Y/N)-noona!” You quickly dry your tears as Wonpil appears from the opposite end of the hallway, a red-faced and gasping Jae not too far behind him. You meet them halfway, somehow finding the strength to move your legs, and the bright grin across your best friend’s face immediately falters when he takes notice of your tear-stained cheeks.
“It’s like I told you, Pil. He won’t talk to me.”
“Then we’ve got some work to do.” Your companion grabs your wrist and pulls you forward with Jae following not too far behind, leading you toward the exit where Sungjin disappeared only moments before. “You’ll need that prom dress first.”
“I already told you, Pil.” You say, comfortably adjusting your limb in his grasp. “I can’t afford the dress, especially after I quit from the store-”
“-We bought the dress for you, (Y/N).” Shock invades your body like an electric current at Jae’s amused reply. He bumps his shoulder against yours before sending you a mischievous smile:
“-but you owe us, and not only for the dress—but for finally setting you up with the guy you’ve been madly in love with for nearly all of high school.”

If someone asked you if working at Oasis was your favourite pass time then you’d do the respectable thing and tell them the truth, but if your boss asked before he coerced you into working an overtime shift that you’d rather die than do, you’d do the polite thing like any employee and say the thing you always did when you were faced with that task.
“Of course, sir,” You’d smile big, “I’d love to help out” You’d lie to the man with a tight smile and work at that grimy bar another night.
Because in truth, you hated Oasis – you hated everything about the place, the music was enough to make you cave your head in, but the number of questionable men that rolled through the door every night put the cherry on the cake. Whether it was cheap tattoos and cologne on scummy men, or wannabe gangsters, every person had the same motive – flirt with anything with legs and leave shitty tips, something you fell victim to more than your other bartender; Jaewoo. The place wasn’t even enough to pay your student debts itself, but you picked up shifts where you could, it meant something in your pocket, even if it was in conjunction with another job.
Cleaning glasses and serving vodka, which the smell of stuck to the inside of your nose, wasn’t exactly the glitz and glamour of adult life you imagined but honestly an English lit degree only gets someone so far and if one day meant it that this would be on your Wikipedia page if you some how struck famous with something then you’d live with it for a while longer. Everyone loves a bad job story.
Tuesday nights were your least favourite shift as it meant one thing: Happy Hour. It was a shift you always declined doing but as your boss saw a weird increase in the number of people coming to the bar, he thought it would be best if Jaewoo had a hand for the night, and if the minimum wage wasn’t enough to tempt you the prospect of getting a few drinks on the house really sweetened your tea.
It was cheaply priced drinks for a few hours and it seemed enough to drawl the customers in as you spent the first 2 hours of your shift pouring copious amounts of cheap whiskey to men who looked like they rode vintage Harleys and talked too much about the golden days, thrilling really.
“Another one, sweetheart” A man who looked old enough to be a distant uncle asked you with a wink, perched at the bar with a greying moustache and a cologne so strong you could smell the alcohol from it staining your nose, you grimaced slightly as you nodded, spinning around to reach for a bottle of the cheap stuff.
“You could at least smile” Jaewoo, who was cleaning glasses hissed at you slightly, “It’s not like you had anything better to do tonight anyway”
“Excuse you.” You glared at him, pouring the drink with as little care in the world, “I think getting drunk on cheap wine and watching shitty dramas is a better way to spend my night”
He rolled his eyes at you, waiting for you to serve the drink before he continued, the old man winked at you as you slid him it – marking it down on his tab.
“Yes, sounds more like a miserable existence than a better night” Jaewoo scoffed slightly, you shook your head at him, tucking your towel into your apron – the tight skirt you were forced to wear here was annoying but the apron at least covered some of your decency.
“What’s been shoved up your ass?” You scoffed back at him, taking some of the clean glasses and shoving them in their holders, “You’ve been grumpy since you came out of the old man’s office earlier”
It was no secret that Jaewoo was your bosses favourite, he’d been working here much longer than you, you were merely a replacement for the last guy that left – not that you ever found out why he left, but after working here for a few months you could guess why.
“It’s nothing.” He shook his head, cleaning harder than before, “And even if it was, it wouldn’t concern you anyway” He pursed his lips.
“Damn,” You taunted, leaning against the bar, “Here was me thinking we were friends.” You dryly laughed.
You were leaning against the counter looking out at the bar, the dark interior contrasted with the neon lights and the colourful drink advertisements and to someone’s eyes you knew that this place could be considered nice looking but to you, it was the reminder of all the things you would never be. It was nicknamed the “dream killer” by your friends and it was within good reason; a fresh graduate came here to kill time before getting a proper job but that never happened and months later you were still here – much to your dismay of your parents.
You were intensely staring at a peeling bit of wallpaper when a glass with clear liquid was thrust in front of your eyes – the stinging smell of tequila filling your senses as you looked at the person that held it, quirking a brow.
“Drink.” Jaewoo stated, his glass in his other hand, “You’re thinking too much”
“I thought we weren’t friends,” You said coarsely, taking the glass.
“We’re not.” He tutted, “But you’re bringing down my vibe so lighten up and drink it”
You stared at him as you knocked the glass back, remembering all the times since you started here that he was a dick to you, you thought he would lighten up but that was nearly a year ago and he’s been cold as ever, especially recently.
“Maybe the place is losing business” You hummed in your head, “Him and the boss are tight, wouldn’t surprise me that he’d treat this place like his baby too.” You pondered as you went back to your thoughts, passing the glass back to him.
Oasis was always a bit sketchy to you, there was a backroom that some customers went in sometimes, but you never knew what for – you were merely the bartender and that stuff was for Jae and the boss only. Not that you saw the latter often, that was reserved for when he wanted something from you, but you had heard stories; that this places had some sus ties to higher up people in the street business, and the streets here were hardly known for their welcoming attitude – crime was imminent here. You weren’t from this side of the city, but you lived close enough, rent was cheap so that was a plus.
“Hey.” Jaewoo interrupted you as he clicked his fingers in front of your face, “Stop daydreaming and be ready to serve, new people are coming in”
You rolled your eyes as you stopped leaning against the bar, looking out at the new face in the place.
“Wow” You whistled lowly.
“What?” Jaewoo asked, confused at you.
“A face like that” You nodded to the guy at the table close to the door, “Doesn’t come in here that often.” You smirked slightly, he looked like a good tipper if his expensive watch was anything to go by. “A face like that…?” He was confused, not that he would understand anyway if you explained.
The guy at the table was gorgeous, even with the cropped hair, his heart-shaped lips and dead stare were enough to make women swoon – and as one of the only females in the room at the moment you felt yourself swoon.
“Maybe happy hour won’t be that terrible…” You thought with a smirk.
It wasn’t often you left the bar to ask if anyone wanted a drink, preferring them to come up to you, but you’d make an expectation for this man. The small skirt and black t-shirt might not exactly be the sexiest outfits in the world, but you were glad that the heels of your shoes at least caught dead stares attention as you walked closer, a smile that you meant on your face for once.
“Hi sir,” You smiled brightly, “Welcome to Oasis, want anything to drink?” You asked politely, but you shrunk back slightly as his eyes focused on you.
“No.” He didn’t spit it at you, but he was firm.
“Are you sure?” You chirped, “Drink is ha- “
“I said no.” He interrupted you with a small glare.
You laughed awkwardly as you stepped away, scurrying back to the bar with your tail between your legs, Jaewoo waiting there to laugh at you.
“Shut up.” You muttered, ignoring him to clean the bar.
It was going to be a long night after all.
Tumblr media
Dead stare, although didn’t buy anything also didn’t feel inclined to leave – preferring to check his phone every so often but you didn’t blame him at this point. Plenty of people had flooded in for the night around 9 pm, the weather outside turning torrential as the rain washed the people away from the streets and in look for some form of shelter. Oasis being the perfect place
Sadly, the more people that came in the more you were forced to work, giving you little time to stare at the man who shooed you off like a child earlier. You’d lost track of how many cheap whiskeys and vodka/sodas you’d poured that night but if your tip jar was anything to go by then it wasn’t worth it in the slightest.
It had been a while since the bar door had opened though, the chatter of the people in the bar telling you that you’d prob reached your peak time for tonight and it would only go downhill from here but your interests were peaked as the door opened again for the night – the harsh sound of the downpour filtering into the bar for a second as two bodies entered in place of the cold. And to say you almost choked on your drink you were sipping in between orders would be an understatement, you practically lost lung function for a second as you looked at the people that entered.
“Oh my…” Your eye’s bulged slightly as you looked them up and down; very tall, very handsome, and very overdressed for this place. If you were teenage girl, you’d be frothing at the mouth at the two of them, but you tried to keep your cool as they approached the free seats at the bar, near you to your delight. Both were extremely tall, one had vibrant red hair and the other sported a gorgeous set of midnight black locks, they were a sight to look at.
Your eyes shifted to Jaewoo, who was already looking at you, asking silently who was going to serve them – they looked like they were loaded and that meant one thing. Good tips. If someone was watching close enough they would have caught you stamping on Jaewoo’s foot to get to the first and to your succession you practically slid in front of them with a smile.
“Hi guys,” You spoke to them, their broad shoulders turning from staring at the bar to looking at you, “What can I get you?”
“A scotch,” The dark hair one took one look at you before looking away uninterested, the redhead agreeing with him before doing the same.
You spun around to the bottles with a slight twitch in your eyes.
“Why are all the pretty ones fucking assholes?” You scoffed to yourself, reaching for a bottle of cheap scotch if they weren’t going to play nice, they weren’t going to get the expensive stuff, you’d rather pour it on their expensive suits first.
“Not that one,” You heard a scoff, as you looked over your shoulder, the dark-haired one was looking at you again with an annoyed expression.
“Do I look like I want to drink rubbing alcohol?” He looked at you expectantly.
“I can serve you some if you want it,” You said back, bored, pretty face or not he was bothering you, “We have some through the back with the bleach” That made the redhead laugh.
Black hair just glared at you and nodded to the top shelf where the nice stuff was kept, you complied as you poured their drinks, but you weren’t happy about it. A huff passed your lips as you turned back around with the drinks.
“Do you want me to open a ta-“ You started speaking but were promptly cut off by a fifty being shoved on the bar.
“Keep the change.” Black haired spoke taking the drinking, looking out to the bar, redhead copying him.
You were shocked and disgusted all at once as you rung the drinks up on the register, the twenty-dollar tip looked nice in your jar but you felt rage at the way you were talked to, you tried to shake it off as you walked back to them with the receipt.
“Your total, gentlemen.” You told them, sliding the paper to them, but they didn’t bother to face you.
You were about to walk away when the dark-haired one looked over his shoulder, and downed his drink with not a single grimace.
“I’d get under the bar if I was you.” He spoke lowly to you, the redhead beside him looking at him with an incredulous look and you glared at him.
“Boss, what are you-“ The dark hair merely put his hand up in silence.
“Boss…” You thought, “What the hell”
“Why would I do that?” You demanded just as low as him, he merely smirked at you, placing his glass down as he turned around.
He didn’t say anything, he merely kept smirking at you but you saw his hand creeping towards his jacket.
“Fuck.” You screamed in your head as you saw the handle of a gun start to be pulled out
You didn’t even wait to hear the first shot before you hit the deck under the bar, the sound of a shot following shortly after, the thing rattling your eardrums as you covered them quickly to block it out, it was quick the moments that followed, the sounds of fire letting out and the sound of people flooding out the bar.
It was like everything moved in slow motion as you looked up at Jaewoo terrified, but he wasn’t looking at you, you choked as you looked at him withdraw a gun; the screams of the people of the bleeding through your hands covering your ears, but those screams soon turned to your own for as soon as Jaewoo withdrew his gun you had to watch in nothing but horror has his head ricocheted back, the splatter of his insides coating the mirror of the back of the bar as his body quickly dropped on the floor next to yours. You felt the bile of your stomach crawling up your throat as you pushed yourself away from his growing pool of blood – the tears cascading down your face.
Bottle above your head was shattered with the liquid in them exploding with them, their pungent smell getting everywhere – mixing with the smell of blood and gunpowder.
Your body was in the foetal position on the ground for the moments to follow that, they felt like years as you rocked back and forward – hands covering your ears as you internally begged for it to stop. Jaewoo’s gun was within your reach if you needed it but you felt more bile fill your mouth at the thought of using it. Moments were literal years in your mind, the screams eventually dying out and the sound of heavy breathing left in its wake. But that didn’t comfort you, no matter how much you begged for it. You knew there was something still inside the bar, just as deadly as the gun used to kill.
Dark haired and his friend were still here, and you did not doubt that a few men in the bar tonight were part of his little plan. The few moments of silence were broken soon enough, as the rest of the hunt began.
The weight of his boots crunched the glass beneath them as he edged closer to you, the bar was a feeble shield against what was to come but as the sound neared closed your shaking hands danced closer to the weapon that was just to your right. You’d never fired a weapon before, but it couldn’t be hard right…?
“Just point and shoot”, even the voice in your head was shaking, picking the cold metal up slowly your eye blurred with more tears as you looked at who it came from – Jaewoo. He still looked as handsome as ever, or as handsome as you can look with a gaping hole in your head and the stony hands of death ringing your eyes dry. The weight of the weapon was grave in your palms though, but you huddled it close to your chest, the icy metal felt even through your top.
He truly was deer stalking at this point, the boots no longer coming towards you, the vast silence of the bar filled with the sound of whistling instead, a sombre tone ringing in your ears as your eyes squeezed shut in fear. He was taunting you without words, his whistling showing that despite what had just happened he was completely at peace with what happened, the thought made you want to hurl – a pretty face really did hide the psycho underneath if this is how he felt, but regardless the sound of his whistling was like deaths hands crawling up your spine; a cold shiver.
The cold sweat was building on your hairline at this, the tremble in your jaw not stopping as you bit your cheek to stop yourself from crying out in trauma, your hands were gripping the gun tighter like somehow just having it in your presence would save you from what could be your end right now. You imagined what he was doing now, his lithe body on the edges on the bar behind you, tense hands twitching with instinct as he looked at the mess he had made of the bottles. You wanted him to look at the mess and walk away but here he was; taunting you. The only person besides himself and his men who were still alive in the bar.
You felt yourself draw in a breath as the movement started again, the sound of things behind pushed off the bar behind you to land in front of you, making you flinch with every crash; broken glasses were dropped down beside you as you bit your tongue to keep from yelping – you wouldn’t give him that much satisfaction. He knew how to play a good game of cat and mouse and you were that hyper aware of even his rings scraping against the wood at this point, the adrenaline in your system turning your senses up by a hundred. But you also knew he was closing in and with bated breath you raised the gun to the corner of the bar you knew we was about to stalk around, the normally strong metal looking feeble in your hands as it shook with your fear. You never really thought that you could make a gun look like a weak weapon but clearly, there was a first for everything today.
It was like staring the devil in the face when eventually walked around the destroyed bar, his suit still looking awfully out of place here; he looked like he should be the CEO of a company with his Armani suit, not shooting up a shitty bar, but his eyes were dancing with a mirth you’d never seen before – it made you tighten your hands on the gun, finger dancing on the trigger as he hummed lowly at you.
“Are you going to use that?” He was staring down at you like you would a child, voice warm but there was an edge to it, but he was met with your silence. His thick brows didn’t leave much in terms of expression – they were drawn together in an attitude, “I asked you a question.” He looked at you expectantly.
“I’ll…” Your voiced cracked slightly, your jaw tensing as you tried to find the words, but he cut you off.
“You’ll...?” He taunted, amusement dancing in his eyes as the hum of his men chuckling filled your ears too, as soon as the laughter started it stopped – his face dropping any signs of amusement, “I asked you a question, darling.” He almost drawled at you.
“Are you going to use that.” He nodded to the weapon in your hands, the barrel of it pointing at him doing nothing to intimidate him, “Because frankly, I don’t think you will” He teased you.
“I’ll shoot” Your voice was quiet, your finger still itching to shoot him – the rational part of you knew it was useless, even if you did shoot him there were other people in the bar ready to blow your brains out too, if you even dared to touch their Boss “I’ll use it, I’ll shoot you.” You kept talking anyway.
In a normal circumstance you imagined his laughter sounding like silk brushing your ears, but now, under this pressure – it sounded nothing short of someone scraping a fork against a plate as he laughed directly at you. You felt your blood run cold as he took a step forward, knee coming down onto the broken glass to kneel in front of you, your gun level with his face and his expensive suit getting torn by the glass, but he boldly smirked at you anyway. He smelled expensive too, the woody smell breaking through the metallic smell from everything that happened.
“Do it.” He whispered to you, smirk still on his face; he was prettier up close, almost angel-like in his looks, but you knew behind the structured face and pretty lips held the personality of a devil – a killer. If this was under different circumstances you imagine you’d be falling over yourself at his flawless skin and cold personality, you always did like them cliched, “Do it… if you have the courage, little one” He taunted you softly, his hand reaching out to push the gun higher, to his forehead.
You don’t know what came over you, it was like time decided it wanted to slow itself down to a snail’s pace, but in fear your finger pressed down on the trigger and much like the metal contraption in your hand – your heart stopped much like the trigger, nothing was happening.
He was laughing at you again now, the fear building as you kept squeezing the trigger to no avail. His hand was gripping the bar above your head as you moved back in terror – you were truly fucked now; he was edging closer.
“Next time you shoot…” he whispered, his finger flicked the barrel of the gun away from him like it was a pesky fly, a smirk on his face, “Turn the safety off, little one.”
The metal clanged on the ground as it dropped out your hand, you wanted to vomit at that moment; your stomach moving in ways it had never done before. He looked beyond amused at you but again it was shorted lived as he stood up, body towering above you, his sharp face looking out to the bar.
“Take her to the car.” His eyes flickered down to you, you seized up for a moment, the sound of his men approaching you started to flood your senses. “Quickly” He smirked down at you.
At that moment you didn’t care how cut up your hand got, you scuttled away from him, the glass digging into your palms as you tried to ignore the blood on the floor that wasn’t just yours. Your attempt was short-lived, you soon enough felt arms wrap around your waist from behind, a cackle of laughter vibrating in your eardrums as you were hoisted up into someone’s chest. You tried your best to fight it, get out but it was useless as you were dragged out from behind the bar.
He was looking at you with curiosity now, his equally tall friend from before looking at you too, as you struggled against this faceless man.
“Down girl, I don’t bite.” He felt him next to your ear, “Unless you want me too” You felt his grimy smirk.
“Enough, Baekhyun.” His boss spoke, jaw tense, “Get her out of here now, and do your job.”
You shivered in disgust, but you were quickly made quiet at the state of the bar, people scattered dead across tables, blood splattered on walls – it looked like a war zone. It did nothing to settle your stomach as you felt the bile burning your throat, the tears burning your eyes as you stopped struggling for a moment, your feet being dragged across the glass-covered floor.
You let out a small cry at everything, your body being dragged away as you tried your best to turn around in Baekhyun’s arms – your body starting up again to struggling against him.
“Put me down” You roared, elbowing where you could, his grunts filling your ears as you caught his throat, “Monsters. You’re all monsters” You cried.
“Jesus Christ.” Baekhyun yelled as you kept fighting, his body struggling to hold you still,  as you reached out to pull on his hair “Someone shut her up already”
You were glaring over his shoulder, too busy to say anything, glaring at him; wishing you’d shot him. His jaw with tense at your antics but he stood still, not bothering enough to deal with you. You were just trying to climb over Baekhyun’s shoulder when you felt something sharp stab into your shoulder – your body stopping in shock instantly as you felt yourself drop with a loud gasp, the world looked hazy for a second as you fell to the side, the man carrying you, his face coming into view as he held on to you.
“Down girl” He shushed again softly, your eyes drooping, “There you go…”
“You can sleep now, sweetheart.” He was tender in the way he spoke but you didn’t need to be fully awake to know he didn’t mean it.
The world was fazing in and out now as you let out one more whine in pain, you head lulling back. You felt yourself being hoisted up into a bridal lift by the man taking you away, you felt like dead weight to even yourself but there was a burning in your eyes and a fuzziness in your mind that stopped you from talking.
The bar falling away to the mist, the sound of glass crunching fading away as it was swapped with the sound of water running through the alley; it was still pouring down. You’d love to have seen the rain one last time, but you heard the sound of a van door opening as you finally fell ill to the sleep creeping into your eyes.
Blackness.
